Great concept BUT ...... Doesn't work properly. play button doesn't work properly, download, etc. full of bugs..... I don't want my money back just want it to work properly!

Best App I've EVER Purchased!!. Worth every penny this app has provided me with daily inspiration from wonderful speakers all over the country. Every time I am in the car I am listening to these wonderful people tell their story and it keeps me feeling good all week! LOVE this app. Everyone in recovery should know about it.

Love this ap!. I love everything about this ap. The recordings run smoothly and there are hundreds. You can also filter by AA, Al-anon, OA, NA and others which is nice since you sometimes need a booster for a particular issue. The recordings are clear and not static. Great deal for the money in my opinion.

Crappy App. Doesn't work!! REFUND!!!. 4.99??!! My sponsor recommended it and I didn't think twice. Now I'm stuck with a crappy app that WON'T play ANY of the speakers. Thanks for nothing.

I love this app!. This app is amazing and the speakers are great I just wish there were more lol thank you for this app thanks to this app I have a greater understanding of the steps. And are there any speakers with the concepts as a theme if so point them out please :)

Meeting on the go. I listen to the speakers when I know I will be in the car for an hour. Speakers for many 12 Step programs. I often recommend this app to others in the program I attend. I usually listen to the speakers who can bring the audience to laughter

absolute crap. only able to listen to one speaker before it froze, went black, and crashed. paid for a second download of app and this time crashed almost immediately. would like to contact app company but cant enter their website without a password. What a rip off!

Found it invaluable!. I have only accessed AA speakers, but have found this app invaluable. Some of the "trappings" have poor quality, but that is a function of the taping itself, not the App. Huge number of speakers available -- not always easy to find on UTube. i highly recommend! (Side benefit: the ability to "test drive" some of the other programs here. Looking forward to it.)

It needs tweaking!. Updating my review since i updated that app i cannot even open the app now. It keeps crashing! And theres no customer service to resolve this issue!! What i wrote before this issue: Ok great concept and material! But I can't fast forward the talks or even save them after they are downloaded.The favorites option is useless too which is annoying when you want hear someone a second time. This is a time consuming problem! Other than that the speakers are great and the sound is clear! please fix these issues! Then I'd say its worth five dollars!

What happened to the speakers?. This was a great app before the update then as of this morning there is only one NA speaker? Whats going on? I hope the dev is reading this i will rerate once this i fixed but for now its not functional due to the lack of speakers

Awesome!. Don't listen to the other reviews. This app works perfect on my iPhone and I haven't experienced any problems with it. It's exactly what I needed and worth the price. You pay 5 dollars for a single speaker tape anyways, this gives you hundreds!

Read these reviews -Dont buy this app!. I wish i'd read the reviews before i bought this app-- it crashed almost immediately and now doesn't work. With so many people having the same experience I cant believe Mr Huff hasn't fixed the problem or taken the app down instead of continuing to take people's' money for an app that doesn't work. This seems like a violation of all the principles of the program....

Absolutely Awesome!. I'm listening to Joe and Charlie tapes and didn't have to pay extra for it! Ha! So many speakers it's crazy! Everything I need for mobile recovery when I can't make a meeting. THANK YOU

*GREAT APP!* Please Update!!. I love this app and have used it every single day for at least the past year. It is great for travel as well and the download option is perfect for flights and areas without wifi. The option to sort by 12 step program is wonderful and the speakers are the best in the programs. My concern is that the app has not been updated recently and new versions of iOS may not support it. Developers, please help this app to continue to be of service!

Ok at best. It was an ok app at first. It makes it easier than just getting the same exact speakers online for free. But then it stopped working. No customer support

It's working great now. I had to delete and reinstall this app a few times but it is working now. There are a lot of great speakers under all the categories. I am happy to have it working again. It is a great app when it is not having any issues. You have a meeting in your pocket at all times. Despite my frustration from the last update I think this app is back on track! I guess the key is if you update then you need to delete and install again. I would recommend you get the app just have patience with it. The speakers are so worth listening to. There is something for everyone.

This App Is A Rip Off. The app was recommended in an OA newsletter by another member so I figured it would be ok. I saw past the 4.99 price tag and now I regret it. The app just doesn't work. I've tried to get different recordings to play and after two weeks of trying I managed to get one to play. It's such a great idea that I wish someone please fix it ASAP!

Great speakers, needs work!. I was listening to this app for some time, before I realized how many duplicate speakers there are on here. Not sure when it happened, or if it was like that all along. What a pain! And there is no way to check off speakers that you've already listened to. If you're going to do it do it right! That said, if Dean works out the kinks, this app is totally indispensable. I hope people will continue to upload wonderful Alanon speakers talking pure program. It's great to hear people in recovery share their stories anywhere I go.

Too random. Speakers are only listed by name, and maybe location. There is no subject listed. So there is no way to know the topic before hand. You just have to randomly select a speaker and hope their subject is of interest. I tried using the search function. But none of the words I entered brought up anything. So if you are just willing to listen to any speaker on a completely random basis, this is your app.

I love this app, but it needs updating.. I have used this nearly daily for a year and really appreciate the access to great talks; however, the content needs to be updated as I am out of Alanon tracts (latest one c. 2006) and the tech needs to be updated as the player keeps freezing, and Apple says "this app needs to be updated or may slow down your iPhone". I really hope the developer is still interested because I will continue to use and promote among my recovery friends after a little tweaking! Many thanks.

New To OA..... I have found this app to be very helpful in between meetings. Helps to keep me focused. Highly recommend this app!!! Use it and keep coming back

Amazing Recovery!. No matter what addiction you are in recovery for the base is the same. This App is a meeting or workshop at your fingertips. It has sessions from Bill W and Dr Bob, AA 12 Step founders. Great OA workshops, OA Big Book Studies. In addition, I just discovered audio versions chapter by chapter of the entire Big Book. I am now on vacation and this has been my go to for inspiration and hope. The recordings are well done. Good luck and great recovery to you! It will be the best $3 you've ever spent.

Wonderful for all of us. Benefits me with alanon and Oa, other loved ones with aa, etc. Incredible source of amazing speakers and the ability to carry the meeting with you when traveling or commuting or need an extra boost. Seriously this is so worth it!! Absolutely love this app!

Offline listening doesn't work right. I mostly want to listen in my car. If I start listening to one speaker that I've downloaded, it will play offline, but will not play any others that I've downloaded until i get wifi again. I reported this back in late winter and the developer did not acknowledge it was a known issue and I felt like I might be the only one that had this issue, but now I know I am not. I can't tell if new speakers are added, are they? It would be nice if there was a NEW section or have recordings marked individually as new for, say, 6 months. Also maybe a way to upload speaker recordings or at least recommend some. I hope the developer is planning some improvements as there is a lot of potential here!

Great selection of speakers. The biggest selection of speakers that I’ve found in an an app so far. Perfect listen for my long commutes. There are a few glitches which some have mentioned in reviews. Using iPhone 6 and kept getting internet connection error until I turned on the cellular data for the app. The rating and bookmark features are nice to help me remember which speakers I’ve listened to. Thanks developers.

Doesn't play on iPhone 4s. Content doesn't play. Don't waste your money as you can't listen to any of the speakers. Does not work. Rip off.

Vheiskell. This app is an absolute mess. In total disarray. I would not have purchased this app if I had known what a mess it is. I enjoy the speakers all right. Just too many of the same ones listed. Too many errors on here to even begin. I feel ripped off. I believe apple should review their material better before its released. This app has potential. Speakers names misspelled. It's just a train wreck.

NAIOU1. I've downloaded, deleted, and redownloaded this app several times in hopes more speakers would be added. Unfortunately, that still hasn't happened. It almost seems like the developer put this app in the market and did nothing else with it. There are 12 step conventions and speaker jams going on all the time, so why aren't the speakers on this app updated? This app has so much potential. However, sadly the developers don't want to put in the time and effort to make it a 5 star app. I have even emailed them a couple of times regarding this subject. Nothing has been done, though I was assured improvements were in store.

Great recovery tool. Great app. I listen to it through my Bluetooth , and sometimes at nite before bed. The only thing I wish they would improve is the sound quality.

Great app for those in Recovery. Where this is not to replace meetings, it is an awesome app to fill in when you can't get to a meeting. Lots of wisdom and support. I am amazed each time I listen.

3 out of 5. I like the app and the concept but because its an app you have to pay for I believe some of the options should run better. The apps description advertises downloading capabilities with the option to listen offline later. But the truth is I can only listen to the now playing speaker once offline and you need to be online to switch to a different speaker even though it is downloaded. 3 out of 5.

Very disappointed. The speaker was great and while I was enjoying it very much it crashed halfway through and was unable to reopen the app... I might as well have thrown a $5 bill in the trash

I love this App. It makes it so easy to find excellent talks on the go in any program. The only difficulty I have is in the multi volume talks because it doesn't identify which number volume in the selection view.

It has saved my life. I need recovery and I have time to switch speakers if it does not speak to my issues. There are lots to choose from. It has been a life saver when I can only go to one Al-Anon meeting a week. This new updated version, however, does not let me hear my downloads unless I'm online. That is not the definition of a download. Anyway, I hope they continue to get the bugs out. Mine used to crash, but now it does not anymore. Not sure why. Good luck!

Awesome app but one question. I love this app. The speakers are awesome and I can listen in the car. However I noticed that since using it my data usage is skyrocketing. Is it because I'm now addicted to constantly listening to the speakers when I can't be "in action"? Or would downloading the file allow me to listen without sucking up a lot of data? Anybody knowing? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Very cool!!. A recovery buddy suggested this app to me tonight at a meeting. I downloaded it and couldn't get it to work. I contacted the developer. He got back to me in minutes, suggested I reinstall the app, and it's working perfectly. I just listened to Bill W. read How It Works. How amazing is that? Really looking forward to exploring. Bugs. This app would be great if there wasn't a bug throughout . U cant pause audio when listening to a stream version and if u do pause when u play again it gies into updating mode looses it's place and all u can do is start from the beginning because u can't even go to where u were up too. Very frustrating. If this can be fixed it's a great app.

12 step. Great stuff

Inspiration for 5$ = priceless. I can't believe I now have access to years of inspirational stories of personal experience, strength and hope...all for 5$. Simply amazing. I listen to this instead of radio in my car now. I hear the stories, do "the do things", putting the principles into daily practice through right action and I am feeling better one day at a time.
