A good news app. This news app does well in giving local news and easy to navigate. I would recommend it.

Good News App.. Very accurate and always updates. Has good writers and I like reading it. Makes it so I don't have to take the time to stop and watch the news.

Changes. Site changes are a big improvement

TV 13. We no longer live in West Michigan but own property there. Also have lots of family there, so we are interested in what is happening there.

Too confusing. I liked the old app better. This one is too confusing and hard to find what you are actually looking for. I tend to get frustrated and give up.

Not updated as often. I love your app but need to have more update and more often. I wait till 11 pm on your app to see it live it right now 11:18 pm and nothing yet only old recordings. We love out of city limits no cable or antenna would work only internet.

Lifelong liking of WZZM. I have always liked WZZM! We began watching WZZM when it came Grand Rapids, and it has continued to be our favorite television station. You seem to attract good people to work for you (and your viewers).

Needs better functionality. App crashes on opening. Closing app and reopening several times eventually gets to the home page but crashes constantly when trying to browse through it. iPhone X and latest updates.... the app needs serious work on functionality. The website is ultimately where I have to go for their news.

WZZM. So glad I have this app! Keeps me up to date with everything. I wouldn't be without it on my phone! Thanks WZZM!

The worst app I have!. I have had this app for some time now, always updated and it is garbage! It never loads when I go directly to the app or when I click on a story from my notifications. NEGATIVE 6 Stars!

It’s nice having local news, but the design is unintuitive. I love having my local news in a separate app, as it’s guaranteed relevant to me, but navigating inside the app can be a tad frustrating unless you’re only interested in the “featured stories.” Also, the weather section is slow to load and I’d rather not have to download the separate weather app for basic radar functionality.

Local news. The preciseness of the reporting is appreciated. Sometimes the timing is a bit later which may be a factor of trying to cover more than can be reported quickly. Overall a worthy source of West Mich news and weather.

Two Thumbs Up. I love the WZZM13 TV team and app. They are my home for local news, whether on the app or while watching the morning news.

Quick & Easy. Great access to news quick an easy . On time notifications!

Look at Us Go!. We need to hear more about Muskegon! We feel like shirttail relations ! We have a lot going on and it is not mentioned. A lot the stories about the wonderful works, and the people that do them go unnoticed. These stories are not unlike those of Grand Rapids . Take a closer look at Us!

13 OYS. Love your TV station, disappointing when you're not available to watch. Enjoy watching the staff as the make jokes on air and everyone seems to get along with each other. Jamal Spencer is a great sportscaster, like watching his take on sports. Thank you for being there for the latest updates around the City of Walker and beyond. We appreciate what you do!!

Apple TV Volume. I enjoy the content offered in the app, but the volume between the programming and commercials is way off. Commercials are easily twice as loud and one would need to constantly adjust the volume to hear the content without being blasted by the loud commercials.

Too many ads. News content is okay. Too many ad pop ups though. They are annoying.

Our news. We love to hear our local news. Only two things that we believe that you can improve are: Ludington and Scottville are in your viewing area and don’t get mentioned in weather. We had about four inches of snow in the last storm and you said that we didn’t get any, just a dusting. Ha, ha. Also meteorologist, Michael Berrens says “heading” 10 to 15 times during his forecast.

App works ok. But the story tellers fail in the who what when where how. So if the app is good but the content is not then the app is useless. This used to be a good news source many many years ago.

News. Isn’t there anything going on in the world besides Corona? It’s like there’s nothing else going on? Tired of hearing the same thing over and over

New App. The new app is difficult to maneuver through. I’ve tried numerous ways to advance through the “Local News” articles, I end up on the weather page or back to the top of the “Home” section. The whole app is too busy and is not a simple way to get my news. I will be using the Wood 8 app and the Fox 17 app for my local news. I’m in my 40s and very computer/app literate. This new app design is terribly confusing.

Miss your station.. I have dish tv and miss being able to watch tv 13. I hope we get you back soon.

Difficult. The old app was much more user friendly. If I can’t figure out how to use this app and am somewhat tech savvy, how are my aging parents supposed to figure it out? Where can I find the school closings? Where is the search option? So many of he good features are missing. I think I’ll delete the app and just use the website until they fix it and make it functional again.

It’s ok. I used to like the App, but lately when I am reading an article, the ad at the bottom of the page starts up and I have to X out of it.. it happens more than once.. Hope you can fix that..

Appreciate ch 13. I appreciate reading the important and up to date weather and news. If I want more detail I can always google another source. Ch 13 is concise and pretty accurate.

Not improved. New update does not include water temperatures, and is choppy. Scrolling jumps around and is constantly loading ads, very disruptive. I’ll give it a couple days, but will remove if it doesn’t improve.

I get no alerts. I have this app. I used to get weather, news and school closing alerts. Now I only get occasional news alerts. WHY WHY WHY? I don’t even care about news alerts, but I need school and weather alerts. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app and that hasn’t helped. Any ideas? Can't you fix this issue? I’ve resorted to using a competitor’s app to get the weather and school closings. Ugh.

Doesn’t work!!. This app does NOT work! It simply freezes. I delete the app and re-install it at least 2 or 3 times per week. I’v tried shutting down my iPhone 11 and restarting with the same freezing issue. I have removed and re-installed it TWICE today. I want to be hopeful it will work, but am giving up. BAH! Please fix this app!

Worst weather app possible. I lost over $3000 today. Thanks WZZM for the worst possible weather news possible. People should believe just the opposite of what you forecast. Thanks for putting a lot of farmers further in debt.

Ads are ridiculous. So many ads that make the page jump around. Also, this review pop up….I was just trying to scroll through the news and accidentally touched the pop-up while doing so. Very frustrating. I use wzzm13 app less because of these things.

Too many pop-up Ads. I love WZZM13 app & on FB, it just seems like when I am trying to read a story or find something ads continually pop up.

Annoying. Got sick of the incessant updates on covid counts. All doom and gloom and no positive updates. WZZM13 used to be my favorite channel but over the last couple years and more importantly in 2020, they became an extension of the Governor’s executive branch. They have forgotten what journalism and news is and just regurgitate what they are told to say by the government.

Love the food shows. Love when Dave and Jim shows us where to eat in this area!

Weather. Keeps me up on the weather

On Top. Love this app. WZZM 13 is on top of reporting any and all the information we need. Accurate, caring, and uplifting, to all of us, who have been affected by this nasty strain of flu.

Snowbirds. Love the ability to remain “in the know” with my hometown local news as well as national interests when I am wintering in the south.

Update. This new look is very nice but it is confusing to navigate.

Great info. I’ve had the App for a while now . My notifications are daily and informative . Top stories .

Alerts are important. I appreciate getting the alerts as events happen.

No longer a reliable news source. WZZM use to be the standard for news in west Michigan, now most of their stories are opinion pieces. People are not looking for someone to tell them what to think about the news, just the facts.

Too many ads. There are so many ads constantly popping up that it is almost impossible to read any news articles. They go full screen automatically, blocking the articles. The also could do a better job of shrinking the initial size of the articles so you don’t have to scroll constantly because you can only see one at a time.

Snow. If snow is in the forecast today You can also count on 13 to give you the best forecast possible

Great reporting, too many ads. 13 OYS is the best local news source for West Michigan, but the app has too many ads that make the app difficult to navigate.

Ads!. I cannot believe how many ads are on your app and website.

Stop the popups. Every time I want to read a breaking news or a headline I get popups. I like TV13 but get annoyed at popups and slow to load the page.

New iPad eliminates crashes. Old iPad was slow and crashed a lot. 13 app works great with new iPad Pro (and has not crashed once). It would be nice if weather tab title was changed to "Weather Now+", and the On-Target forecast tab showed only the current forecast (eliminating the old ones) and adding On-Target stats block with how doing over past 30 days. A short daily video clip dealing with On-Target stats may work nicely here, since TV 13 has great on-air weather people. GregF, Hudsonville

Notification issue!. I am not getting any university of Michigan football notifications PLEASE FIX ASAP!

Why did you change?. I don’t like your new format. I can’t figure out how to navigate. I have always used it to get the weather and the school closings. I will now just use the Fox News app.

Closings list is terrible. As a parent one of the main things I want from news app is closings. The ads make it hard to even find the closings and they seem to get them way after other Chanels. I’m deleting this app today.

App no longer works!. I got a notification in the app that said I needed to upgrade. However, there is no update in the App Store, and the app itself no longer works!

Always Old News. What’s up with the old news! You guys should call this the History App.

Biased. I am deleting this app. I wanted an true independent news agency locally. Perhaps their bias is because they pull national stories from other agencies but they choose to do that. I will be moving to another network.

Bad update. Bring back the old version, this new update is hard to use like the old one much better.

Grand Rapids Area News app. Awesome app. Keeps me connected to Grand Rapids even though I moved away! Great writers!

Loading. Within a few seconds of trying to load the app shuts down. Always was a poor app

So Glitchy. App freezes up, its glitchy and shuts down for no reason. Google works much better!

Weather app. I redown load the WZZM 13 weather app at least twice per day. Ridulouc.

Mobile app. Mobile app keeps bouncing back to advertisements. Very aggravating!

Ad popups ruin a great app.. The news stories are great but the popup ads make the app impossible to use. I finally had to uninstall it as I got tired of the ads.

TV8 reruns. This app gets news from TV8. Kudos for reporting traffic backups after they have been cleared!! Too many ads slowing the app. This is a free app and I still want my money back!

A middling effort. As per the norm, WZZM abandoned simplicity for a slick appearance more friendly to money-makings ads. Open the app and you're greeted by an apocalyptic "14 weather alerts" in a thick red banner across the top. Holy crap, is the world coming to an end? No. It's just the same alert for 14 different counties. Does someone in Kent County really care that Calhoun County has the same frost advisory? And is that really two separate advisories? On top of that, is a mid-October frost really worth the massive red warning box? Thankfully, the "extended" forecast is now actually extended past the three days of the old app. The only problem is we now have to scroll past a giant ad to get there. Also, navigating now requires two "touches" instead of one. To get to sorta, you used to simply touch sports. Now, you have to touch the menu drop down and then touch sports. Slick, ad-friendly app. Too slick, not-as-user-friendly app.

Not happy with ads popping up. Great news organization, but this version has pop-up ads that come up at a great and annoying rate. Makes this app unusable. Yuck!

Lack of high school sports. I’m deleting your app, as it has no high school sports

New update. I do not like the new update I cannot check the traffic map to see what traffic is like in the morning on my way to work anymore. One of the main reasons I even used this app. It will be deleted now.

Improvement needed!. The website too often boots me off, especially when trying to view the national news. The news content is good, but please edit your spelling and grammar, especially the titles. My wife and I appreciate the positive approach that the news team uses whenever possible, and Brent Ashcroft's features are great.

Good App But.... Chanel 13 has been my Chanel of choice for many years. When we my husband and I opted not to have cable or satellite TV I grieved over loosing TV 13. I was pleased to find that this app existed and even happier that it offered live streaming. The streaming is fine in my opinion but, I don't care for the latest version of the lay out. Not as user friendly, harder to get to the sections than it use to. I find myself not investigating all the things the app has to offer. I've been sticking just to news and weather.

Ad popups. Whenever I open an article an ad video starts up and I can’t stop it. I hate this. How do I stop this? I have all settings setup so this shouldn’t happen.

Not enough news. This app design seems to have more ads and not enough news. Consider adding more content rather than ads.

Too many adds. Too many adds popping up and hard to navigate.

FREEZE. This app ALWAYS freezes !!!!!

weather. i can look at the weather and tell my grandma what the weather is when she missed the weather
