Fun Spelling Activities

3 spelling activities of increasing difficulty are provided to adapt the activity to the child’s spelling level. You can use the built-in word lists or create your own.
1 - "Word Practice" says and displays the word to spell, and asks the child to spell it using the talking movable alphabet
2 - "Scrambled Letters" says the word and displays the letters needed to build the word or sentence, and asks the child to reorder the letters.
3 - “Spelling Quizzes” is a standard spelling test. The app won’t move onto the next word until the child has correctly spelled the word, helping them to remember its correct spelling.
• 200 built-in word lists: Words for beginners, 1,000 most frequently used words, body parts and more

love it. I just started using this for my kids - love the option to create personal spelling tests, since it gives me the ability to quiz them on their weekly words!
The best. I Love this app!! It is great for Adults and Kids learning French.
Great App. This app has helped my daughter a lot with learning and practicing French syllables. In addition, the ability to create word lists has helped her score high on every spelling test to date. Most importantly, this app helps me teach her how to pronounce words better. Prior to this app, I paid for a tutor two times a week. I can cut the tutor sessions in half now!!! The only helpful suggestion I can add is the ability to add words to the word list via ones camera. Due to the success I have been experiencing with this app, I bought Word Wizard in French and English too. Great job developers. Please disregard my previous post regarding word error. Apparently the word we accidentally typed was not a good word. Ironically we were trying to type cornet. My daughter forgot to type the 'r'.

Works great!. I love this app. It works as advertised. My kids love it and makes practicing for dictee easy! NEEDS A RANDOM FUNCTION on the custom tests, add that and I would give this app 5 stars.
Aucune définition des mots. A quoi bon orthographier si il n'a aucune définition du mot qu'on dicte? Un bon potentiel mais vraiment pas appoint! Vous devriez vous associé avec Becherelle, Le Petit Robert ou Larrousse.
Amazing App for French Immersion. New update is amazing. Very impressed. Awesome for French Immersion Spelling tests. It pronounces the words correctly. Only criticism is that sentences are read very quickly even if you slow down the voice. Also going back to main menu clears test which can be frustrating. Totally exciting for kids and they love the drawing with stars reward at the end.

Fun!. The kids really like this app for practicing dictate words. We use the custom list feature, but often have trouble saving it. 'Using' the list first seems to help. The animation at the end of the list is a great reward. We have no arguments about practising spelling anymore!
Love it!. My kids love it, and I love it, because I can't read most of their dicteé words, so I can't really help them with studying like this app can. Makes my life so much easier!
Very good, but.... This app has been amazing for helping my first grader study for her dictée tests. But is there a six item limit for adding word lists? All of a sudden, when we add a new word list, it is not saved.
Bug depuis mise a jour. J'adore cette app pour réviser les mots de dictée avec mes enfants mais impossible de l'ouvrir depuis dernière mise a jour. Très dommage

Dictée. Ce serait bien de savoir en combien de fois l'enfant a pu écrire le mot quand il s'agit de dictée.
Essentiel. Un essentiel pour pratiquer les mots d'acquisition de la semaine des enfants car on peut faire notre propre liste de mot à pratiquer. Mes enfants font leur dictée maison là dessus et je peux même mettre une liste avec les mots qui non pas été réussi au cour des dictées précédentes. La seul lacune, c'est que parfois on entend mal le mot a cause de la voix mais en général, ça va bien.
Needs Update!. No letter 'a' with accent circumflex!! Otherwise was working great.
This is the best App for French words that I've found yet!. We are not a french speaking family, my little guy is in grade one french immersion and we use this app all the time to help with his homework, before we found this app if was so hard for us to try and help him because I didn't know how to pronounce the words correctly. I put his weekly spelling tests into the App, he doesn't need me to help him, the App gives hints and it tells me if he's complete his test with help and how many times he needed to use the hints. I also use it to help me when I don't know how to say a word for a story he is reading. This App has become an essential tool for us.

Wish you could try these things first!. Well this is the 2nd app I've purchased hoping that you can do sentences for my children's dictée words. This one isn't going to do the trick either. I'm gettin frustrated. If your kids have to study sentences don't don't buy this software. If they are doing a couple words it'd be great but definately not sentences.
Love it!. I teach 1st year French immersion students. This app is an amazing tool to help students learn and review words. I can create my own word lists specific to the vocabulary I am teaching each week. Also I can create lists for individual students (beginner, middle, advanced). I LOVE that students hear the word read to them, then while building the word they hear the sound of each letter/letter combination, and then hear the word repeated after they’ve finished building it. Super bonus...any list you create can be shared (with other devices or emailed to parents). I strongly suggest turning on random word order in settings to ensure children actually learn the words, and don’t memorize the word order. It would be nice to see an option to have word lists repeat when they come to the end (instead of returning to the main screen and starting that list over again). I love this app, it really does help children learn sight words in a fun and interactive way.

problème12 mars. Bonjour, je suis incapable de télécharger votre application achetée le 12 mars 2018. un message me dit en anglais qu'il est impossible de la télécharger pour le moment...ça fait deux jours. Pouvez- vous m'aider?
A few glitches. I had trouble with saving custom lists, but I got prompt reply from the help contact. Turns out there is a glitch and if you enter or edit a list, even though u hit save, it will not....you must choose the use list button before exiting, even if you don't use the list. That seems to work. The other complaint I have is that the setting don't allow you to choose a QWERTY keyboard, only AZERTY or alphabetical order, it's really messing up my daughters newly learned keyboard skills and she finds it a bit frustrating.
