This game is great but... I love playing this game, and the interactive multiplayer atmosphere of it. However, I find it rather odd that it “costs” gold balls to pick gender or race in order to personalize your character. I think this game should strive to be more inclusive and not penalize the player by having to opt to be the fair-skinned male character.

Dont buy this game.. Total rip off.. This game is a total rip off.. Items are ridiculously priced.. Majority of the items require additional purchasing of What they call Stars... You'll regret purchasing this game !!!!

THIS FUKKING GAME IS RIGGED!!!. This used to be a good game but with all of the hackers taking your points (and I'm 98% sure that Com2Us isn't all that innocent either), there's no fun left in it. I play a fair game, no cheating of any kind. And I don't mind losing one bit to an opponent that doesn't hack or cheat. And I believe that Com2Us has something to do with altering a players ability as well. It's just too obvious. They also seem to be blocking some bad reviews. Only 2090 reviews?? BULL!! If they can rig the bonus wheel, they can rig the game too and I think they are. Ditto...

For the love of the game. This game has been a go to for me for a couple years now. I have enjoyed it ever since I first downloaded it. I wish there was a Homerun Battle 3. But I will continue to have a lot of fun playing Homerun Battle 2.

Hb2 review. It’s honestly a great game except my biggest issue is the gold balls are way to hard to get they need to either lower the price to buy accessories or increase the amount of gold balls you can obtain. If they fixed that the game would be perfect

Great. Great one dimensional game with no real in app purchases needed to compete. However, it needs to be updated. Needs some new modes and some major tweaks to the old ones. Does not appear to be any update to this game in years

Game Died. This was my favorite game for years, and it still can be today if it worked. But the game died. I can’t even get to the home screen. The features, the animation, and the style j on f this game was amazing! Please bring this game back to life!

Poor sequel.. What a disappointment. The original version of this game was timeless: excellent playability, realistic ball movement and spin and visually appealing graphics when the ball was hit. This version has sacrificed realism for annoying and kiddie-game graphics, and playability is reduced considerably by condensed screen size and poor visibility of the ball and spin. View when ball is hit immediately switches to 3rd person view instead of the view of the batter. That takes away of the pleasure of hitting the ball. Sorry I spent even 99 cents!

Network issues finally fixed. My favorite game especially in Match mode. The system was down for about three months and I could not get in or play no matter how hard I tried. Customer support was really of no help at all. Finally it’s it is fixed and we’re back in business. Great game decent graphics and tremendous fun especially in the multiplayer match games.

Needs better matchmaking.. It’s not great matching a F2P player, vs a spoiled credit card brat. Anyone can spend $100’s of dollars on a bunch of powered up gear, and hit 4 homers to win the match...but it takes skill when you string together 11 hr and beat that lil punk!

complete crap. I have had this game for a couple of years. lately I've been bombarded by connection failures and "hive" issues basically telling me to subscribe to it. so I do. big mistake. all my info and everything is gone. when I go into hive it doesn't allow me to unsubscribe. thanks a lot. somebody needs to right this wrong. although I do miss the cheating in mission mode with games ending in 2 seconds...

Addictive. Game is awesome! Lots of different modes to choose from. My only issue is the connection issue when you launch the game, sometimes it freezes and have to close app several times

Why did the dev end it?. The best baseball hitting game to ever be in the App Store. Why did they end it?! I’m glad I can still play it for now. But no matter where I look I simply can’t find a better baseball hitting game.

Force closing issue. Love the game, have for years. Now all of a sudden its doing this force close thing in the middle of the games and when u try to open it back up it gets stick on the “start game” part and i cant tap it or anything. Just freezes no matter how many times restart phone or clear cache. Pls fix

5 dollar rip off. First of all you have to spend 5 dollars on this game and on top of that if you want to be any good at it you have to pony up more dollars to access better equipment if thats how their gonna play it then it should be a free app or at most a dollar save your money do not buy.

Meh. Fun game. Seems like the timing is crap and takes a while to show accurate score, Ball movement is weird and for some reason my hit zone just adjusts itself all of the time. Also hate the fact that I can lose to someone who is way behind but gets a double score ball and somehow comes back. Not a terrible game, but also garbage.

Finally Figured it Out. So the game was only going to get one star because I couldn’t use my stars and gold balls to upgrade. Then I figured out if I tapped on what I wanted repeatedly it would get accepted. A few more taps would outfit my character with what I wanted. As far as game play it’s pretty decent. Burn mode is cool. I usually play single player to earn the gold balls for achievements. All in all can’t complain now that I’ve figured out how to upgrade my character.

Fake reviews. Use to play this game when it first came out but now it seems like a new company took over? Lost my account and now I can’t even play because the touch screen is off so I can click anything on the screen. Unplayable and broken. Use to be a 5/5 but now a 0/5 with this current state. Don’t bother downloading or playing.

The original was better. Why did you have to delete my purchase and forced me to purchase a new? This sequel is an embarrassment to the original. Such a cash grab making me hate this company now. Just re release the original I'll buy it once again if you promise to leave the monetization alone. For now I don't want to look at this one. Still has issues with the touch btw.

Costumes. We need more content, costumes, bats, more fields... overall the game is great. Also it would help if we could have a bigger win rewards like stars, or even a costume piece, and maybe lower the cost of some of the equipment as well, it would make the more competitive, the more competitive the bigger the reward.

This deserves no stars.. I am long time player of this. There are so many issues. Now the major issue is that it gives connection error failures. I am on the net. Everything else works. This happened before. I wrote their tech support and nothing. Plus...in HB1 it was better because you could earn or pay for things and mix and match stuff. This one is only for paid packages which is terrible

Great game. All in all great game but could use a better money system because I want to be able to get cool things too and not take a very long time to get it

Horrible system. I tried to make an account under the name TomatoOG where I was 61k worldwide rank and worked really hard to achieve. As well as spend $9.99 to get stars to upgrade my bat. AWFUL GAME as my stats are all gone now! I tried to create an account with hive to save my info and it robbed me of my stats. When I tried to enter my old nickname it said it was “already taken.” What a waste of money, time and energy. Worst game in history. Stay away!!

Deleted my character. I had this game for a couple years, and only recently decided to spend money on an outfit for my character. Only a couple weeks later, I opened the app one day and I was looking at a blank slate. No idea how to get my old character back, or why it had been deleted in the first place. It turns out there is about zero information on the internet regarding this issue. So, it WAS a fun game to play now and then until this happened. Done with this game and this developer.

Great game needs some improvement.. The only reason why I’m giving it 4 stars is because there is absolutely NO way to figure out how to do team missions! And they need to update the challenges! Other than that it’s a fun game to play!

2x Downloading this game. I bought this game over 5 years back and ran across it again today... Definitely had to download it! Hate that I lost all my progress from before but a fun game none the less... Wish it was a faster way to progress through the game besides buying upgrades with my real money... Love the game BUT.... PLEASE GIVE US AN UPDATE!!! Love the game. REALLY should allow players to exchange Goldballs for stars. Trading stars for goldballs is a little insulting. Make it look like ur giving the player who doesn’t want to spend money still have a an option. But trading stars for gold balls r useless. 10 gold balls for 1 star would b fine. I understand the money side of it. But if u throw a bartering system in then at least give us something to barter for!!! I’m still going to play but it would b nice!!!

Fun but frustrating. Love playing this game but the gameplay and mechanics are so inconsistent that’s it’s STUPID!!! One swing your hitting it one direction and and then the next swing batted at the same moment you’re hitting it in a totally different direction. It’s absolutely frustrating on how inconsistent the gameplay is. Almost like there are no mechanics and everything is random. Fun to play casually it irritating to play competitively.

What a game!. I have played this game on and off for a few years and it’s such a fun, simple way to kill time. Play it while you unwind or while you’re riding in the car. It’s just a fun app to have at your fingertips. Oh and play with your friends! What!? Yeah challenge your baseball loving buddy.

Please update the game, you’ll start making more money off it and more people will be playing!. It’s a great game and I’ve been playing for years but it’s slowing down because it has no ad support. The game isn’t advertised anywhere and the servers are eh. If you fixed a few things, this would go back to the best baseball game on the AppStore. Please do!!

It’s working again!!!!. This was my fave first game on iPhone. Glad there was update and able to play again. It wasn’t working for awhile. Hope they keep working on the game.

Only for people with money. If you are a paying player you can not mix and match equipment unless you buy complete packages which is a total rip off....so if you don’t have a lot of money find another game because you can’t earn enough stars to get players....you need stars to get players and good ones cost about 6800 stars and you can only earn about 5-10 every few days....since I wrote the above review my players hitting power has turned homeruns into hits lol ....they can control how well you do ... it’s horrible

Can't click on any of the equipment. Or change skin color. I used to love this game but now I literally can't click on anything. Seems like it's a common problem. I'm black and I can't even change my characters skin color cause when I press on the screen it literally does nothing. Can't upgrade my bat or players look at all. Literally nothing on the equipment page works. All I can do is play as the original generic character. This seems like a stupid problem to have, especially when all of us paid money for this game. Anyone have any solutions??

Mr812hitman. I like the game but I wish the company wouldn’t got rid of Home Run battle 3D. This is ripping off the paying players out of money, and it’s no way I can get stars to buy stuff and the game don’t offer many little ways to earn stars. Honestly I like Home Run battle 3D a whole lot better really not feeling this version to much. The company got greedy and let us down and force us to buy a money trap version after some loyal customer already paid for Home Run battle 3D. I don’t need gold balls if I already paid for the game I need stars to buy and customize my avatar to compete better, and I agree some of these items should cost to buy some high end outfits to push your player over the top. I think people would actually pay for something like that, but to be force to buy entry level outfits is totally ridiculous.

I’ve downloaded hundreds of games, played, purchase items but eventually became uninterested, some much sooner than others but this and two other games have kept my attention and I have downloaded them to each device I have upgraded accordingly. Average on top of average. Last time....get rid of the iron ball in duel mode. So dumb... Follow up again....GET RID OF THE IRON BALL IN DUEL MODE!!!!!!!! NOW!!!!! It doesn’t make any sense. Only use it in survival mode. Follow up from my first review back in March, but the game is still just average. Too hard to get stars (unless you buy which is BS) and all items seem to be a package item or achievement. Have to but most packages naturally....also please please please get rid of the ridiculous iron ball in duel mode. Only use it in survival mode. Dumbest thing ever in duel mode. The first homerun battle (3D) was one of the very first apps I ever purchased and played it all the time till they completely shut the game down a few days ago. They forced me to buy this game which the playability is extremely weak compared to the original. This one might have more option but the first will always be the best.

Would have been a 5 star if.... Really like the game. Even spent some money on this one. Don’t think I will be spending anymore money though. I have noticed that when you win big on the gold balls, it does not always record it. Yes I am logged on and tell the game to read the data, if asked. It is very frustrating. I don’t know if this is a true glitch or designed to do this, but I wish it would be fixed. 5 star if this is fixed....

Cool game. Pretty fun used to play it back in the day and got back into it recently don’t know how to get gold balls through missions or if they even have it anymore . If not I wish they would bring it back ! I used to grind for the gold balls ! Still would just can’t figure it out or they don’t have feature anymore only reason I gave it 4 stars .

Better than the first!. I was a huge fan of the original, but it was getting stale. The sequel has more features to keep you coming back for more. The online interface is much better. The daily challenges are a nice touch. Best game on the App Store.

Too many issues.. I’ve had this game in the past. Re-downloaded it today. It barely works. More than half of the time the game doesn’t respond to you tapping the screen. I’ve had to restart the game multiple times just to make the “game start” button work. Trying to add items to your character does not work. You have to tap the item at least 10 times to actually get it to accept. Even then it isn’t always on your character, it reverts back to the previous item you had on. If this were a free game I wouldn’t care, but for a paid for app you would think the basics would function. Do not download unless there is another update. Not even worth .99 cents.

Was having fun but no more!. I have been playing with this game nearly every day for at least 4 years. But i recently encountered a few errors which shot down the app automatically. It looks like it became a very unstable game. I contacted Com2Us for support and they recommended that I remove the app and reinstall it... But when I open the reinstalled app it is asking me to download more data over Wi-fi. When I accept it keeps telling me that the service is currently not available and to try again later... It’s been 3 weeks and the data never gets downloaded and the message is always the same. They obviously are not maintaining the app and don’t look interested in keeping it going... Don’t even bother downloading this app, you will not even be able to use it. It has now become a dead end. Maybe this review will wake them up!

NO 4 INCH DISPLAY. So this is one of my last apps that hasn't updated its resolution to accommodate the iPhone 5 screen. C'mon keep up guys, is it really that hard?? The dragon.. There once was a dragon who ate everything he saw. One day he came across a little bug who was gathering poo. Hello little poo he said. Where is my sponge bath? The bug was sad that he didn't know that the dragon also had dementia. So he robbed the dragon and kicked the ball of poo in the dragons mouth. The dragon said this is a glorious day for everyone in Hampshire! He later fell down two flights of stairs and sang karaoke with his career who found him by the local swimming pool with $4.50 and a strap-on at 3:22am

Sequel to a Classic. The first game was good but the second inning of this baseball bashing franchise is better in almost every way. Better graphics, more costumes and equipment than the last game and new competitions that make a seemingly repetitive game fresh and exciting. One thing I’d to see is being able to get Stars or GoldBalls through watching ads. It would also be really cool if you could pitch as well.

Hr2. I like the game. Heaven knows I've had many issues not that long ago trying to connect. I kept the game cause I do like it. Some issues have been worked out thankfully. I finally gave up on another game I played lots. Ceasers casino. Was at level 90 and poof gone all my gains etc and when I brought it up to them they kept saying it's all corrected. Just deleted the damn thing. Was VERY VERY close to doing that with hr2. Thanks for fixing issues and I will continue to contact you if I have any in the future.

Fix this!. I love this game, however there are issues. It won’t even let me press the game start button now. It use to be a nightmare to add items to your player, with not being able to select anything. I guess the problem expanded. Fix this and I’d rate 5 stars.

Fun but needs improvements. Iron ball in duel mode is the worst idea. Upgrading is impossible. Play feels rigged to make you want to purchase upgrades. Fun game that I paid for. They don't make me feel like it was worth my purchase though.

Junk. No customer support have had game for 2 plus years and always have trouble with it. Can’t play at all now. Took customer service advice and now it won’t reload at all. On my iPhone it just blank after you start and get 1 hit then it’s blank. Junk junk junk and no help from. Com2us Corp

Super fun game. I've been playing this game since it first came out and I still love it today

Game won’t work. Says connection error and won’t download additional data so you can’t even play the game. Don’t download this unless you want to waste your money because you literally can’t even play the game. This game should be removed from the App Store because it is completely useless and a waste of money.

Best. This game is so much fun I play every day show me different features on it it’s probably the best homerun baseball game that I’ve ever played I recommend it to anyone

Save your money for a dev with support. Spent over 100 $ on this games in app purchases yet can’t even ply the game anymore even after multiple reinstalls can’t get past the downloading additional data screen what a joke I used to love this game and recomend it to every living person I came across .... now not so much

Homerun Battle 2. More chances too win stars. Also playing in different area with out buying new ball park.

HB2 Is Awesome. This game is awesome you can play against friends and play some really good players this game is A little pay to win but that doesn’t stop me from beating them

Home run battle needs. I think you guys need to add more to the battles like other options besides just hits and home runs like add a outfielder or something different

Fun but...... The game is tons of fun. But you can only play when the app actually want to work. 80% of the time I wanna try and play I can’t even push the play game button because the game doesn’t recognize any of the screen taps. Don’t waste a dollar on this game.

DISAPPOINTED. I used to have this game a while back however got a new phone and now that I have downloaded it once again I can’t even open it and I paid for it so I am really disappointed with this situation I gladly paid however I would also like to be able to play the game instead of getting error messages!!!

Fun. Pretty fun and addicting. I like to play in my spare time at work and when I’m bored at home. Some of the outfits are too pricey (gold balls or stars) but other that that just all fun.

Nothing works like back in the day. I used to play this game long time ago gameplay and replay is still there but it’s truly annoy that I’m unable to use stars or even if I want to buy within the game to upgrade.. please fix this I shouldn’t have to “multiple tap” on an item just for the game to select and option

Doesn’t start sometimes. Sometimes I have to close and reopen the app multiple times before I can play a game. Also, sometimes it will stop in the middle of a game. Please fix this.

No Updates. This game shouldn’t be in the AppStore any more it has been 3 years since the last update if you install the game it crashes before it opens, used to be one of my favorite games, its a shame that the developers don’t care anymore about the players.

Solid. I am not much of a gamer, but this game is simple yet challenging. Online gameplay adds another dimension and increases the enjoyment factor.

HR2. Great game as was the first edition! Few disappointments were you can't access upgrades like you could in the first edition. Has anyone else had that problem.

Downloads additional data every time on start. You need to fix this problem - game is downloading the same additional data every time on starting game, it takes more than 5 mins and is very irritating

Great Game But..... Can’t get any support without an account. I downloaded this and tried to reattach my account from the other game, and it won’t work. No help given so far...

Accidentally deleted the app. I love this game. I’ve spent a lot of time and money. But now I can’t reinstall it for some reason. Any help would be appreciated

Connection failure. Been playing this game for a few months now and all I get is some connection failure message now! I’ve rebooted my phone. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game and still no fix. I tried to get help from the developers website and seems to be no longer active? So I’m stuck with a non playable app!
