Very easy to use. Very intuitive. I track all expenses here. If I could have on feature added, it would be the ability to designate a separate default method of payment for each transaction category. For instance, I always pay for petrol with cash, I always make my mobile payment with a bank transfer, and typically all my Travel expenses are paid by credit card. If each of those defaulted to a different specified means of payment, that would be awesome; but currently I see only one default for everything.

helps manage my finances. my favorite part of this app is that it shows the daily balance. i have a lot of recurring transactions though, and sometimes i need to make changes to the recurring transaction as a whole in the Define section. is it possible to add the search function in that part of the app? so i dont have to scroll through a huge list?

Love This App. Very user friendly. So helpful. Use it practically every day. The only upgrade I would like to see is that it could be synced with the iPhone. But that is definitely not a deal breaker. Highly recommended!!!

CONSTRUCTION BUSINESS OWNER. Amazing App, like All Apps that really integrate all the things you need into it, a little learning curve should be expected to use all of the options available to you. And this App has everything you possibly need to easily keep track of your money and much more since all fields can be customized. I strongly recommend the App as well as there other ones. I do recommend getting full version of App or whatever they call it, then you can run a account for anything, I customize the fields and currently have a Personal, Business, Company Tax, & Payroll Account that keep my finances in order better than any other App I have tried.

After using for 3 yr’s I love this app wouldn’t use another.. I have been using Visual Budget on my IPhone for 3 years. For me it’s perfect for my needs. I keep track of all my banking information by inputting reoccurring bills at the beginning of each month. I know the total day by day as I input other transactions as I make them. It lets me know how much money I have in my account even before my bank let’s me know. So at anytime I can look and see how much money I will have at the end of the month to the penny. I would never dream of using another App. I have never had a single problem I love this App.

Great App for Business. I’m so glad I found this App. I use it for tracking my small business income and expenses and am able to create profit and loss statements in seconds. This saves my accountant a lot of work and time which, in turn, saves me money that I would otherwise have to pay my accountant.

Very Useful App. This app is awesome, I’ve been using it for years and it has totally helped me get a grasp of a budget. It helps me plan for future expenses and helps to project my future balances. My only complaint is that it doesn’t allow for recurring transactions between accounts, if this were ever added it would definitely be a 5-star. Currently I have to create a recurring transaction on each account and just remember to update it both places when changes (dates, amounts) occur.

Absolutely Outstanding & Essential!. I have used this app for years and I use it daily. It is absolutely essential to my being able to stay on budget and save money. Simply outstanding. There is no need for any other budgeting app. NONE!

Just What I Needed!. It was time to get control of where my money is going. My goal is to save enough to pay my mortgage off early. This app is so easy and user friendly. Gives perspective where money is going and wasted. First month I listed all expenditures. Following months I knew just where to cut. Writing it down makes you more careful. So much easier to use than budget apps I’ve tried before. I set a daily alarm in calendar to remind me to list my daily expenses. Don’t have to expose on line personal account information for it to work. I use it just to list my expenses other than household bills so I can track waste. So simple to use. Very reliable.

Fills my needs. I was looking for an app that let me break items down into sub categories. This one fills that need and so much more. Very easy to set up and use. The only thing I would change would be to add the ability to export based on date range instead of having to export the entire file.

Powerful Tool, Streamlined. I’ve been using Visual Budget for several years as a cash flow management tool that I could use on my Mac as well as iOS devices. As a paycheck to paycheck single parent, I was able to plan and schedule bill payments around my income and not be late. Surprise expenses are always tough, but with this software, I can see how long it will take me to clear balances and set goals. I haven’t even used many of the various charting and overview tools yet, so I know it can do even more. Overall this was well worth purchasing on all platforms.

I like it basics work well for home.. Keep track of your money. When you want to know where your cash went this app keeps track.

THE BEST. After trying all the other ones and being disappointed by them, I finally found the perfect budgeting and financial tracking app. I’ve been using it since 2014, daily, and could not do without it.

Great- just needs to use the cloud. I have been using this app for a 5+ years and I love it! It is so easy to put in transactions and reconcile them with my bank to balance my budget! It is easy to plan out large expenses and see the long term impact of purchases.

Nice app; bad support when I needed it. I purchased the app years ago and used it fine. When I needed support later, I sent an email for help. The person didn’t even read the email thoroughly and told me to try the things I already said I tried. When I pointed that out, he become rude and condescending. I stopped using the app since. There are many products out there for what I need. I didn’t see the need to deal with with this one.

EXCELLENT. I have had Visual Budget for the past 5 years and I absolutely love it. It makes everything so easy to keep track, review, just perfect. So glad I found this app.

Immensely Helpful!. This app has been helping me keep track of my spending for years! It posts recurring expenses and income ahead of time, which helps me budget my money. If you don’t usually carry cash or a checkbook on you, this app is indispensable!

Super excellent!. I have used this app for years. I haven’t had the need for looking into any other app because everything need is right here. I like it! So far the best I have tried, but with another app I tried I was able to chech how much money I had spent or used with each credit card. With this app I can only specify the way of payment, but it does not give any idea how much I am using each credit card as that option is not available, but I hope they can make that option available. I would like to be able to add credit card names so when I detail type of payment, I should be able to click on the specific card used. Overall, a good app I have been using this app for a few years and I absolutely love it. Highly recommend it!!! 👌

Fantastic, I would get it again.. I have been using this program for years and I love it. I would never go back. I would add 2 things; the ability to split the total transaction price among more than one category and the ability to reconcile the transaction from the main screen without having to open the transaction.

Automatic. I use this instead of my previous Xcel sheet on my laptop where I had to link to charts manually. I never kept this up to date as it was time consuming, so I really appreciate the automatic graphs this app created for any analysis of your personal budget. Plus this is on my phone I can do it in real time. Thanks!

Best Budget App. I use this daily!! Easier than quicken! Keeps financial records in order! This is very convenient! I love the fact you can take pictures of the receipts!

Excellent!. Been awhile since I checked in here. I’ve used the app for literally years. When my eyesight began to fail I requested dark mode but it didn’t happen. I was afraid I would have to find another app but after several eye surgeries I can now see well enough to navigate again. Relief!!!!! This app is like an old trusted friend to me.

Useful and simple. Great app ! 4 stars because I think moving transactions between accounts is a feature missing and is very useful when you enter a transaction in the wrong account, it would avoid the need to delete the transaction and create it again

Great budgeting app. I've used this app to track expenses and income for over a year now, and it is amazing. Well worth the $5 for the full version. The app is simple, never crashes or freezes, incredibly simple and intuitive, and does a lot to help you manage finances. I have a few minor gripes with it (capitalizing all words in descriptions of expenses, opening the in-app calculator pauses all audio on your device), but I didn't even hesitate to rate it 5/5 stars.

Easy to set up and use. I checked out a lot of apps, and this was the best and easiest to set up. I use it to control my budget and household expense projections. I also have my retirement account trackers in this. I Have recommended to many of my friends

Best budgeting app. I have been using this app since 2016. I’ve tried out a few others and this is by far the best. I love that I can create my own categories and really track how I am spending my money. It I also great to look at my budget three months out, very handy when planning how to save up or adjust for bigger expenses (request: could this feature let me see six months out?). App works great. I use this App every day. I have had it for several years now and it continues to get better. I have an MBA and manage finances for a very large company. I have found that this app is better than the others and It does everything I need it to do in order to manage my household finances. The reason I gave it a 4 star is because it is not completely user friendly (yet) and sometimes it seems to have a glitch when I go to edit something and won’t allow me to do it (maybe an update issue?). But overall this is a great app.

Easy to Use. I really enjoy this app. It's easy to use and has a great look. It has some cool features that allows me to see my spending habits. It would be nice if it had a back-up feature of its own as opposed to me having to back it up. Never the less it is a great app.

More Default Spending Categories. I think this is the best App there is. Like it has been said already in the comments, I’d like to have more default categories (cash, Visa, checking); also if the future can go up to 12 months, although I’m still content with 6 months. But keep it up, it is great in its simplicity.

Great App!. The only thing that keeps this great app from 5 stars is after a few years worth of data, the app slows down and some of my reoccurring items get wonky. Other than that I have been using this app since 2013 or so and I haven’t used anything else that comes close, it’s performance and price!

Amazing!. Why are so few people using this app?? Tried others that doesn’t track my money the way it does. Could add more months in the future in the budget past 3, and also an asset tracker.

Easy to Use. I find this a useful tool for keeping a budget and use it almost daily. It certainly helps see where I need to budget funds and how I manage expenses.

Overall great, with some room for improvement. This app is very useful and almost perfect. I can setup my expenses and income and see a day-by-day summary of my budget. The things I think it could use are: longer time frames for seeing all expenses in the main view; fully customizable time frames for recurring expenses (in days or weeks); when duplicating an expense, to have the calendar match the month of the expense being duplicated (less scrolling through dates, then); the ability to edit individual entries of recurring expenses. Other than that, it does exactly what I need and has been very helpful in setting up my budget.

Every day !!. I use this app every day to track where I spend my money. I especially love the visual charts that put expenses in perspective. I use this in only the simplest way but this app has so much more to offer as well.

Amazing. Great Application! If you like to organize everything you will love this application, as soon as you log in all your expenses and income is organized by date and category. I owned my own business and it has been of a great asset to use.

Best and most useful app I have. I’ve been using this app for 8 years now and it helps me stay right on track, budget for things, and view my money in any way that I want. I love that I can create sub-accounts for my checking or savings, so that I can visually keep funds separated. I’ll say the latest update has a weird glitch that when you do a new transaction where it automatically shows the ? Category, but then it goes where it’s supposed to immediately. Hopefully they fix that, but it’s not a big deal. I’ve recommended this app to a few people and they love it too.

Love this so much !!!!!. I use this every single day !!!!!! It is an absolute essential for me. I will never use a paper bank balance register again. It’s so convenient being able to schedule all your future deposits & expenditures. I love knowing how much money I will have (or not have) at any point in time from today forward. I am reconciled with my bank on a daily basis & it’s the greatest convenience. Having all the history available is super helpful also. Being able to attach images to transactions is another great feature. I hope this app never goes away & will always be supported. I would be totally lost without it. Awesome product !!!!

Functional and fun. Great app! I like how you can make your own sub-categories and delete them as you please. Also the automated pie charts give a clear visual representation of my spending. This app has done a great job helping me keep track of where my money goes.

Essential part of my finances. This app is perfect for those who want and need to micromanage their budget. It can projects your finances up to 3 months! I use it daily and whenever making large expenses. If used right it can help you isolate frivolous spending and see where billing cycles may negativity impact your savings/cushion. See your account balance a year out.. Love this app bcs you can track your bank account balance as far out as you are willing to input the information. Only thing I would change, when u open the app that it defaults to current day calendar not the farthest entry in the budget calendar.

Easy to use, quick to get running. A fantastic app. Simple, easy to use, lots of features but you can ignore the extras and benefit from the basics if you prefer. Amazingly quick to get the hang of! I work two jobs and was finding it hard to budget with cash payment from one and bank pay from the other, so I love the way this app allows you to use multiple accounts. So quick to set up and the overviews are good. I already feel much more in control of my expenses. Very clear and simple interface, and nice design.

Best of the best. This app has been working great for me. Four years usage. I keep all my tax records on it and just sent the PDF off to my agent at the end of the year. Simple to use but packed with lots of detail. Only improvement I want to see is the ability to lock off previous years so I don’t accidentally record into the wrong year.. keep up the good work..

Probably the most used app on my iPhone. This is such a useful app for me. Because I use a number of different debit cards for various purposes, it is handy to know what the balance of my debit card is, before I make a transaction. It’s also useful to look back at what I have spent my money on. It would be good to be able to scan a receipt and have the software automatically crop the edges and adjust the perspective.

LOVE this app. Have used this constantly since downloading a few years ago - I would not be without it. User friendly, does what it says, and they are always tweaking and enhancing. Just get it.

BEST App Ever - Life Saver. I have tried a few financial management apps including the ones that automatically connect to the banks but by far THIS APP IS THE BEST. While setting up all the accounts (one time setup) is an effort the daily reconciliation is not that difficult considering the benefit of expense tracking and forecasts at your disposal. Well thought through features and reports. I have nothing else to say but AWESOME. Keep up the good work team.

Best for the purpose. This app is the best for the purpose of everyday life financial recording and budgeting. Biggest advantages like simple & straightforward, multi-account function & cheap (compared to the songs people get sick of in a week). Bought a few finance app before, this one suits the normal John the best. As a prof accountant, other apps are over the top and not intuitive at all. The only suggestion that comes to my mind now to allow bank feed for easier bank reconciliation, and probably a system which allow de facto to view the shared budget account. All in all, good app.

Solid app. with great customer service.. This app is great for those who wish to capture and review all of their expenses. I like how I have the option to create a budget or I can simply track my expenses. The customer service for this app is exceptional and they have taken on board some of my suggestions to be added to the next version release - I'm sure if you have a good idea they will consider it or at least explain why it isn't already included in the app. I tried as many budget apps as I could find and I'd have to say that I am the happiest with Visual Budget. Great. Such a great app to monitor and view my expenses

Ugh. Used this app for so many years and love it but don’t love the latest update! Why??? Adding a new transaction and it goes through two screens to take you to the category screen, which you don’t need if you’re regularly using the app! By adding the dollar value and place of transaction the category is automatically entered based on your history. What a time wasting step to now have to enter the category manually 🤦‍♀️

Probably the best offline accounting app. Four years ago I was looking for a comprehensive mobile application to track and *analyse* my finances that does not force me to upload my private data to their cloud. Fortunately, I found Visual Budget. Have been using it without any issues since then despite significantly increased complexity of personal accounting (many currencies, multiply accounts and subcategories). The app is so convenient that I've imported my old Excel-based data for historical analysis as well :) Check their website on how to import data. Sincerely recommend Visual Budget to everybody concerned keeping an eye on own money flow and privacy!

Great budget tracker. I have always tracked my spending but this ap makes it so easy and portable. It also allows me to see a break down on my spending so I can plan better for the following month. I love it. No category for donations in the standard categories though. This would be a good addition.

Great Ap. This Ap is Fantastic, certainly an easy way to understand where your money goes. The Ap is very easy to customize to allow for different account types and any errors are easy to change and alter as required. Like any accounting Ap it relies on some understanding of accounting, however time spend is well worth it. Individual reporting or summarized account income and expenses, or both allow the user to track monthly/yearly spend and income. Only problem I had was loosing 6 months of data while attempting to backup. No ones fault but mine. An undo option or similar would have saved me. I've used this for 12 months and i can't say enough about it, It's BRILLIANT

I keep coming back to it. I dropped it for a while thinking I needed something more comprehensive and paid $360 and got MYOB. Conclusion: MYOB does not do personal finance and budgeting as well as this app, and you can't go mobile like this. I then tried Pocket Smith, an online system, but it's bank feeds and format are fiddly for mobile use. So here I am again, back at this app. I've studied it better and realised it has all I need and in a much simpler easier to use and track format than those two other paid options. Good work Kiwi. Make this your staple. This is a case of the consumer not knowing what they need - kiwi, you need to promote this on a wider scale. Once people understand and use it fully it could replace a whole industry. This is Apple for personal finance. Simplicity at its best.

Top class budget app. Have been searching for years for an app like this, it satisfies all my needs in regards to my budgeting requirements. Very user friendly and it does not take long to learn how to use it

Great app!. Well worth the money; been using it for 2 years now and would never go back. You can see months into the future with your budget and plan things out well. The only suggestion: please move the search bar off the main screen and maybe put a link to it on the top bar. It hardly ever gets used and it just takes up valuable space! Only gripe, but apart from that, fantastic!

I love this app, 1 problem. I love this app, have used it for years. But lately there’s an annoying glitch. Whenever I enter a transaction when I tap the Comment field the keyboard covers half the space so I can’t really see the comment I’m typing in, plus it’s impossible to edit it. I’m on an iPhone SE. Please fix this! and I’d be happy to give 5 stars.

Great App. Visual Budget has the best layout by far in comparison to any other budgeting app available. I love it and have struggled to find anything similar. The only thing that I would change to make it Number #1 on the market would be to add automatic connection to your banking app so the transactions are auto loaded in. I’m terrible at manually updating my expenses and it’s quite tedious to do so. If visual budget added this additional functionality it would become the most outstanding to any other app on the market. It’s still awesome but this function would just take it to the next level. I would pay money for that!

5 Star Budgeting Program a must have for everyone!!. I've been using this App for a couple of months now and it's Fantastic!! I don't know what I'd do without it!! Or how I would survive now it controls my life it's just so easy to transfer the data between my IPhone and my iPad when I get home after a busy day!! Just press one button on my iPhone and then one on my iPad and it's done!! This is a must for any home or business to keep track of your finances and budget!! I've bought many of Budgeting Apps and I'm glad I've stumbled across this Awesome program, you won't be disappointed!!

Happy User. I have tried a lot of apps like this. Not as pretty as some but the mathematics work and it is simple to use. Having used this now for a few months I am very happy with its simplicity and reliability. Been using it now for 15 months and I am very happy with its accuracy, ease of use and reliability.

Great APP - one suggested refinement. I have been using this APP for the past 7 years and it has been invaluable to manage our accounts and budget particularly since I have retired and no longer have a weekly income. However, it would be nice to have the ability to have the same supplier/store etc in a number of categories. At the moment where I have a supplier listed in one category the only way I can use them in another category is to change the supplier name which I do by adding number after their name. Vic Roberts

Customisable and simple. Easy to learn. Adaptable to personal needs. Reliable and quick.

Visual Budget. The support staff are probably the rudest I have ever come across, that being said the app is pretty good. It needs a feature that allows real time syncing syncing across devices, rather than over writing what exists, as well as the ability to completely copy/ duplicate all transactions into a seperate account incase you need to play around with amounts and things without deleting the transaction from your account lists all together and having to add them back later. Lots of features I don’t use included and doesn’t provide features that I would. Marked down for rude emails from app support staff when facing difficulties or wanting to know more information about features.

Visual Budget is a Visual Lemon. I’ve used different money app for many years and loved it but it’s not supported after IOS11. I’ve not yet found a replacement that’s as good and this is just another to be sent to the app graveyard. This app is not intuitive and lacks the basic feature to transfer between your accounts. The upgrade price of $13 is exorbitant! I use another of Kiwi Objects apps (Gas Manager) and it is great but Visual Budget is an app I wouldn’t recommend.

Easy Budgeting Tool. I have been using this app for several years. Very easy to use even with multiple accounts. It allows me to plan our budgets and see at a glance our financial state. Thoroughly recommend.

Great app.. Loving the app. Could some of these be included in an update. **. It would be great to add more than 1 photo, maybe 3 would be better. ** Also to have the choice of the Repeat Options to include option al number of days, and optional number of weeks. Some payments are every 5 or 6 weeks, but it’s not on the list. **. Would be great to be able to back date recurring payments.

Awesome app. I find this app a great way to track my bills and spending. I usually estimate future bills so I know my bank account isn't about to go into the red. I also find it useful for documenting what transactions were for as often the bank statements just don't have enough detail. I thoroughly recommend it for someone that is finding it difficult to save money and isn't sure where all the money is going to.

Excellent App for watching your money. I have been using Visual Budget since July 2012 to manage our household cashflow. I find it a great tool for reconciling our credit card statement each month and keeping track of discretionary spending (which can become quite scary when you see exactly how much you spend each week!!). I would, however, like to see a ‘totals’ line in the sub-category listings as this totals amount is often difficult to see on the pie-chart alone.

The perfect home budget app. I searched long and hard to find a budget app, tried out heaps and finally found Visual Budget. It's so easy to use, can create individual accounts, categories with subcategories, set up budgets and recurring bills, there are also heaps of reports to use. Not only can I monitor, plan and reconcile all of my accounts I am able to set up a Group Account for my sons accounts as well to keep him on track. Love it and highly recommend it.

Manages all personal and household finances. I've been using this app for about three years now. I started out wanting something to keep track of a renovation fund when we moved house so we could see where the money went at the end. Now I track all of our household accounts, savings accounts and credit cards - 5 accounts in total. I couldn't survive without it at this point and wouldn't want to - it's just so easy to use, lets me run and back up monthly and financial year reports, add and change categories to fit our spending habits. I've tried others that have top ratings and nothing comes close to the simplicity and straightforwardness of this one. The only reason I've given four stars instead of five is that I would love it more if it had a cloud base and allowed syncing across devices so that I can manage banking from my tablet, but still be able to enter transactions on my phone as I make them - even if they're on different operating systems. Also - being able to mark 'bank reconciled' without opening the transaction would be awesome.

Use it every day. Easily usable, from first entry. Easy to customise to suit personal usage. Simple synch between iPhone & iPad, although would prefer auto synch thru iCloud. Good graphic design. Would like a simple total to date by category. Overall good value - best pocket expense recorder I have ever used. Highly recommended.

Awesome app. This is a really great app I'm managing 3 household accounts in it and it's brilliant. Effective Finances Tracking App. I’ve been using Visual Budget for a number of years now. I’ve looked for prettier interfaces during that time but keep coming back. Manual entry of all transactions is needed but the habit comes quickly and is not onerous. Features - multiple accounts for one entity, recurring transactions, useful graphs supported by numerous report options though theses need to be exported for viewing, entering budgets not intuitive and requires planning, syncing is by export and import between devices which can cause issues, focus on one device. Recommend.

Almost there, pretty good. Quick and easy to use, which encourages you to keep up to date. The analysis pages and graphs are helpful. I may be missing something, but I would like to see an option to view a combined transaction list from all accounts in one group. This would make it simpler when searching for a particular transaction. I would also like to see any change to the category list automatically replicated for all accounts to avoid confusion and extra work. I have used it for a financial year now, and it does the job.

Invaluable Financial Aid. I have been using this app for many years and it has been invaluable in helping me plan my yearly budget and manage my spending. I love the way I can create my own categories and subdivisions within these, and I have fine-tuned it so that it is exactly how I want it. I don’t know how I’d manage without this app.

Great app. Great app for keeping track of multiple accounts. I have many accounts and can keep track of them and transfer money to and from. Really like being able to set and see reoccurring bills etc for forecasting what I need and when. Even have my teenage kid using it as they are learning to look after their own banking. Which in the age of just tapping a card and not seeing the money go, this is great as they enter every transaction and they instantly see their balance. Also has the ability to create budget PDF’s which is a great visual for myself and teaching kids where they spent all their money.

App keeps track of my daily expenses and balances. I thank the developer for this App. It helps me keep track of income, expenses and balance and allows me to evaluate the status of my finances daily, monthly and annually.

Pretty good. Only 50 transactions per account and after that it’s 11.99 for unlimited. Idk if that’s a one time pay want tho or a monthly payment. I hope it’s only a one time payment because if it’s monthly it really isn’t worth it at all. But if it’s one time it’s good

ÉDIT 2022.10.05: Depuis le jour 1, j’ai des soucis avec la sauvegarde, je m’explique. Je gère mon budget via mon iPad, et j’effectue ma sauvegarde après chaque session. Si je prends mon iPhone, et que j’importe ma dernière sauvegarde, des transactions sont toujours manquantes. Et vice versa, si j’ajoute des transactions à Visual Budget via mon iPhone, et que j’importe sur ma tablette après, il manque des transactions. Donc, pour éviter ces erreurs, jusqu’à ce que les développeurs règle les soucis, toujours travailler votre budget du même appareille. Vous pourrez utiliser votre autre appareille pour consulter uniquement.

Great app. Great app. Been using it for a few years now. Does the job for my household. My only complaint/suggestion, make it easier to access the calculator for batching multiple entries. It is awkward to drill down to access the tool.

Il faut se donner un peu de temps au début pour se familiariser avec tout les options possibles, mais on se rend vite compte qu’elle est très facile à utiliser. Avec le temps, on voit tout nos statistiques d’une année à l’autre et ça devient très intéressant!

Après quelques jours d'essais on s'aperçoit de tout son potentiel, j'étais habitué avec Budget Express mais il n’était pas disponible avec Apple, maintenant qu’il est disponible il est beaucoup plus lent et moins convivial. VisualBudget est de ce qu'il se fait de mieux et j'en ai essayé plusieurs Je le recommande fortement

Excellent App. I love this App. It’s the only way I can stay on budget. I have been using it for my finances for years now. The only thing I would change is that I would make it possible to add 12 monthly bills with one click instead of doing them one at a time.

Works well for me. Looking at retiring soon so I needed to know where our money goes. This app works well for me. I like that it doesn't connect to my bank account (another app wanted me to enter my acct # and password!). The FAQ helped when shaping the accounts and categories to suit my life. Took me a while to work through it but I have great hope by Dec. I'll know how much I'll need to retire.

Ça fait quelques applications que j’utilisais depuis plusieurs années et qui ne sont plus mise à jour et qui sont tout simplement abandonnés par les concepteurs! J'ai utilisé cette application lors d'un voyage où je notais chaque soir les dépenses effectuées et j'ai vraiment apprécié car nous voyagions à 4 et certaines dépenses étaient personnelles et d'autres partagées. Ça ma facilité grandement la vie de pouvoir tout noté et c'est facile de s'y retrouver. Maintenant je l'utilise tous les jours pour le budget familial. C'est rendu que j'aime faire le suivi!!!! Petite amélioration qui pourrait venir: la prise de photo avec iPad n'est pas facile, les photos sont toujours un peu décalées. Je recommande fortement cette application, elle est tout simplement géniale!

Very Good. I use it all the time. Database is uploadable to iCloud and locally. Csv and pdf export also. Budgets could be better, but I’d rather do that on my own with the csv that I export to my laptop. I use this app after I have any monetary transaction. I’ve had this app since May 2014 and I still use it. It’s simple and is updated regularly. I think the categories and budgets overview could be easier to view and use, but it’s good to see quickly. For greater depth, download the csv and view on your own budget spreadsheet on Excel. Dommage.

Close to being a great App. I used to do Dave Ramsy's envelope system for budgeting but against Dave's strong convictions against credit cards we use them to get cash back for our purchases and pay them off every month. What does this have to do with this App? Well, this App replaces the envelopes and my wife and I use iCloud to keep the catagories current. This only works if one person enters the transactions and the other just imports the database because if both enter transactions from their own device it over rights the database. The thing that would make this a great App is this; With an envelope system at the end of the month some categories have money left over and some are in the red. When the next period starts you may have more money than budgeted or less money based on what the previous period ended with. With this App it doesn't have automatic rollover from one period to the next. You have to go to each category and adjust the budgeted amount for the next period. If it had rollover it would be a great App.

Finance. The best App I have ever used I use it everyday keeps my finances in check.

Incredible Budget App!. I downloaded 5 or 6 free budget apps to find one I liked before I paid for it. By the time I finished the 10 free transactions with this one I knew it was a keeper and I had to buy it! I love that it allows me to put in future transactions, tailor the categories to my needs, and my new favorite feature- take pictures of receipts! No other budgeting app compares to this one. I use it every day and tell everyone I know about it! The ONLY thing that I can think of that I would change was mentioned by another reviewer- the calculator loses your info when you leave the screen. Other than that it's everything I was looking for! Love it!

Good app just too much than what is necessary for me... Limited tracking options. This app is good but not quite what I was looking for. I get paid an hourly wage and work a rotational schedule, I also have some finacial goals I have set for my future. I downloaded this app in hopes that I could enter information like my hourly wage (and additional option for bonus pay) and get a gross monthly income so that I can use that information to track my expenses as well as savings. The only option for income is monthly and annual salary, this doesn't work for me,while I have a average monthly income I also get a monthly bonus which varies and it would be nice to have an app that can let me know what my budget and gross income for the week, payperiod(s) and month are so I can know if I can deposit a little extra or less into my savings account from month to month. Also to keep my self debt free I only have 1 credit card and minimal bills this app is good for some one who has multiple bank accounts and expenses and likes to review the information by months however I'm the kind of person who likes to keep a weekly budget as well as review my overall monthly budget and the options to track income, projected budget and actual expenses are limited. Overall a good app but just too much (and coincidentally not enough) for what I need!

Love it!. I started using Visual Budget 2 mos ago to help track family spending. I don't use a lot of the capability but love the empowerment that comes from watching how much we have spent compared to our monthly budget instead if trying to guess at it as the month goes along. The graph with the slider bars is great. The only thing I wish I could do is in the transactions view I want to be able to reset the total dollars spent to zero at the beginning of each month. Currently it just keeps a running total across all months. Since I don't use VB to track income, the total for the account just keeps growing. I have already recommended this app to a few friends.

Josh. I've been using this app for a solid year. It allows you to keep track of everything you need to in regard to your money. It has some quirks but once you learn to work with them you can really do anything you like. The "budgeting" is somewhat lacking in that your view of your account is really more like a check register (so your projected balances will not reflect budgeted expenses), but I get around that by creating a dummy entry every month for each budgeted item (grocery, entertainment, etc) and adjusting it down as I actually spend for those categories. Maybe there's a simpler solution but it works for me. Anyway excellent app! The developer is also very responsive and has helped me several times. Thanks for this app and I pray it will continue to be updated. I don't think I could live without it.

Easy to use interface but could use some tweaks. This is my favorite budget tracker app because it's very very easy to use. My only qualm is the fact that you have to take a square photo of your receipts. This is actually a big qualm seeing as receipts are always rectangular? And the fact that you cannot take multiple pictures to add to each transaction. If the receipt is extra long, you're going to have to choose which part of the receipt is most important to save. This is not optimal for doing taxes at the end of the quarter. So I have to still save my receipts which defeats half the purpose of having the app. They fix this problem, I will be happy to change my review to five stars

One of the better ones. I trialled a lot of the budgeting programs and this is the easiest to use and it's most convenient so I bought it. After a little bit of messing around with it I found it to be easy on the eyes and let me easily see where I could cut into our budget. I'd like a few more options to put on my own expenses and if that's already in there I haven't found it yet being my first day using it. I give it four stars for really creating the app for anyone to use. This will save me a lot of paper and paid for itself by helping me avoid huge bank overdraft fees! Love it!

Almost terrific. This app does all I require. I don't use the budget feature but I do track everything I spend including accounts for checking, credit cards and savings. There are a couple of things I wish it would do. 1) I'd like it to not capitalize every word in the description, and 2) it would be great if it would memorize some of the businesses I deal with regularly so that I do not have to continuously retype names. Apart from that, I find it well worth the money, and I love it although with my bank just having initiated the Card Valet its use has become less important.

Very, very good. Been using VB for about three years. I keep track of all checking and savings accounts. It allows for recurring spending and future projection of balances. Once you get the hang of it you can play around with different spending variances to see how they will affect your future balance. That part could have been more user friendly, but you can do it. It does not automatically back up and it does not cloud sync at all. After this amount of time, it looks to me that the developers are not trying to compete with newer apps. But then, it is still a very useful app for me.

Keeps me in the "black". This is a great app! It allows you to keep track of multiple accounts whether they are a checking, savings or a credit card account. You get to chose the categories you want for each expense and this system allows you to put in recurring expenses that can show up on a weekly or monthly basis. It allows you to review your expenses without the fear of someone gaining access to the app. It is a little work intensive at the beginning when setting up the accounts and types of expenses, but well worth it in the end!

Amazed every time.... I have used this app for about eight months. If I could give it 10, 20, or more stars I would. Unfortunately, I never learned the proper way to budget at a younger age, and now that I am 43 years old and on my own again, my learning process has just started. Embarrassing to admit but being completely honest. I tried many methods, books, software programs, spreadsheets, and apps. Not having that "kind of mind", nothing really made sense to me. This DOES! It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but now I am entering information for several accounts and another family member, running beautiful reports, and staying consistent with what my bank account reflects. As far as using this I know it like the back of my hand now, and share it with my friends and family. There is not a day that goes by that I don't depend on this application and back it up once or twice a week! I honestly don't see how this app only has 14 reviews, maybe people just haven't discovered all of the fantastic things you can do with this one tiny download. The makers of this app definitely knew what they were doing and this appeals to the masses. Beginners, "old dogs needing new tricks", like myself, and perhaps even seasoned budgeters! Thank you, thank you, thank you for Visual Budget!!! There is absolutely no sense in trying anything else!

Visual budget review and suggestions. This app is great to show your account daily balance but definitely needs some work on the budgeting features wish you could see the total by category and subcategory on the category menu instead of just the number of transactions and last transaction date also wish you could setup a daily budget on a monthly calendar that would give you reminders of when things are due such as your phone bill due by such and such date also wish you could scan a receipt and it would automatically load the details of your purchase such as date amount and product description so you could just add the category/subcategories if you could add these features I would give you 8 stars but will give 3 for now

Best App Ever/Must Have. I have been an daily user if this app for several years...but I must frown on the latest icon...my eyes are trained for the prior icon...this really throws me off. I have all my expenses @ my fingertips...I'm able to track my spending penny for penny. I use to write everything manually in my debit/check register, no need for that anymore, since my phone is always in my hands, so much easier to just punch it in, track my balance and go. The day to day balance also let's you post date and back date payments in case you forgot or may forget to record a payment or deposit. The transaction categories enables me track exactly were my money went, whether it's credit card payments, utility bills, or entertainment expenses. It also keeps track of any unreconciled (outstanding) payments. Bottom line is if you're as anal as I am about tracking your pennies...in today's economy, this is definitely a must have app. Thanks guys when it comes to an everyday app, this is a winner, everyday all day I'm logging in...I love it even more with each update

Now I know where my money is. I've been in business over 20 years. I've used Quickbooks and other book keeping systems that take a lot of time to enter transactions especially if you're not trained to use those programs. Visual Budget is very simple to use. I keep up with my business and personal finances with this. I can AirPrint any report that I need for my business or personal finances in 2 minutes. I don't even need a computer, I do all of my finances on my phone thanks to this app. It is by far the most important app on my phone. I like to know where my money is and where it went, by entering every transaction that I make, I always know to the penny what I have. Great App!!!

Great for keeping track of yourself. this app is great! I get notifications from my employer via cell about my payroll, two days prior to getting my pay, i have another app (list ease) that i keep my groceries/household items and their prices i get them at locked away in that app, before I'm even payed i can make my lists, calculate my costs (gas, bills, groceries etc) and log it all into this app, it tells me how much left over ill have, then, with what i buy extra (make up, eating out etc) and it shows me how much i spend on what in a pie chart, i also have multiple accounts and it helped me figure out where some missing cash went, very handy, love it

Very nice app. This is a great tool for a budget app. It is very easy to use and setup. The ability to back up to iCloud is key. I can have it on my iPhone and iPad and sync seamlessly. When on the go I can see where we are and update on the fly. It really needs a summery on the expense page. It shows the percentage of days in the month/year. It would be nice right below it to show the total budget used. Lets say I have 4000 budgeted each month and used 3400, I can easily see that. Currently I have to scroll through it all and calculate it manually if needed. A quick summery would be helpful for me. If you want a simple but very extensive app, this is for you. I moved away from excel and quicken with this one app.

Best app ever. If you're trying to get your finances in order or if you're like me and you're married and have multiple accounts to keep track of and a budget you're trying to stick to, this app is your best friend. I manage my money with this app like it's a pocket version of quick books. I've been entering every transaction since 2014 and while it is manually entry unlike mint, I find that since I am forced to enter every penny I spend it makes me more aware and protective of my money and I am more responsible with spending it. This app has helped me save and pay off several loans. I recommend it to everyone I can.
