Good app but…... I’m not sure what is the purpose of the app when you can’t even rename the connected devices to tell what they are. There are a few settled things that could be changed such as creating profiles to easily categorize connected devices, allow the “rename” feature so customers can rename devices. Otherwise the app is good, just missing a few features to make it better.

Last update over a year ago, know bug!. With the LB2120 LTE Modem and the LM1200 LTE Modem the RS-SINR is not being read and displays a value of 0 dBm. I did some searching and it appears that this is a known bug. I contacted support and they are having a senior engineer look at the issue. Hopefully they will put out a firmware update that resolves the issue soon.

Asks for password every 10 seconds. I’m using this with an AT&T Unite Pro 781s. It gets into a mode where I can’t login. Every 10 seconds it flips back to asking for the password. Even if I get it entered within the 10 seconds, it doesn’t login, just keeps clearing the screen and asking for the password again. The only solution to uninstall the app and reinstall from the App Store. That solves the problem for an hour or two, then right back to the cycling. Dunno what broke in the app. The version I used 6 months ago or so worked fine.

Extremely Useful App. I use the app in conjunction with my Netgear Nighthawk M11. I find it very easy to use and made setting up my WiFi simple and I am not a techie! I would not only recommend this app but the M11 Nighthawk as well, you won’t be sorry!

It won't find my Netgear 6500 Pro.. I've connected the phone to both router signals and the app 1) never finds the router and, 2) has nothing on the screen after that; there is no button or option. At the least there should be a "try again" or help option. This shows a very thoughtless app. Zero stars. I've been a software developer for many years and there is no excuse for such poor design.

When it works, it's great.. I've found this app very helpful in tracking my data usage. However, many times it does not recognize my wifi transmitter. I've had to delete and then reinstall this app to use it on several occasions. (Which uses more data.) I am still using this app as it’s very convenient when it works.

Needs major rework. It doesn’t work on my iPhone 11 with the latest iOS at all and my iPad using the latest only gives me number of devices, battery strength, and reception signal strength. Tap on the icons and it freezes with the only way out is discard the app then go to the App Store and download it again.

I can’t even access the app. I’m not sure if this is a mistake, but whenever I open the app and it finds my WiFi it automatically takes me to a screen where it puts “admin” in the first line and then asks for an admin password. What password is this? The network password? I’m confused.

Needs tablet support. While I find the app to be adequate I am using the MR1100 for Rural internet access and my main access device is an IPAD Pro with Keyboard. This app does not support Landscape mode which is beyond me why developers don’t simply add this feature. I have the same problem with a couple Financial apps as well. If they would support Landscape or Tablet mode, I would have given it 5 stars. Does everything it needs to do without being overly complicated. There is a lot to be said for keeping it simple!

Functional, but needs UI overhaul. The core functionality of this app is perfect, but the UI needs to be overhauled because it doesn’t support the iPads Pro and it doesn’t feel elegant (clunky animations, outdated design language, inefficient layout, etc).

Easy to use. Easy to navigate through the screens. Very easy to setup and make changes. Has a lot more info about the router than you would ever need, including battery temp, case temp, charging voltage, etc.

Netgear mobile application’s user friendly, essentially.. In the limited amount of time that I have had the Netgear mobile application, I have had very few encounters with difficulty in operation and consistent broadband output.

No support. I thought I was getting one of the top routers, but it ends up is the blind leading the blind when there is NO SUPPIRT. If you are not techie, think twice before committing to this. I have not had any formal computer training, but I did buy my first desktop in 1985 and have generally been considered one of the more technically knowledgeable persons in my office. And I was the PC tech in my family, replacing parts, etc. over 3+ decades of upgrading our PCs, laptops and phones. The kids did eventually pass me by and I go to them to get help when I have problems with my Netgear router.

Good and Stable. I’m able to control my wifi router with ease. I’m not an IT guy but this app makes it easy to do what I need. I find new functions that are helpful and, ironically, this is why I rated it a 4 instead of a 5. It seems like I have to search to find some of the things I need instead of them being intuitively available.

User Friendly, More menu options. VPNs are important these days. I wish there was a way to not only change the DNS but to add a VPN protocol so the data going through the modem is a protected by an VPN protocol.

Firmware Update Option Doesn’t Work. I recently purchased an AC797NAS. This app seems to fall on par with typical Netgear interfaces. It’s helpful and convenient. However, there’s definitely something wrong with the firmware portion. When you attempt to check for firmware under settings , it either gets stuck in “checking” or you get an “update error” that shows the following: The update could not be completed and the Mobile Router will automatically re-check for an available update within 48 hours. Note: this also happens in the web interface as well. Additional Troubleshooting: Tried on both bands and rebooted Mobile Router/Hotspot several times. Mobile Router/Hotspot seems to work fine otherwise.

Battery Notifications Broken, Developer doesn't care!. No way to receive low battery notifications on iPhone even though setting turned on everywhere. Notified developer multiple times and, of course, was completely ignored. I've started a campaign for everyone to boycott this developer. Also, app looks like it was made by a first grader.

Good for basic information and quick setup, but not as friendly to set up a complex network. This app is fast and simple, but for myself, trying to do some advanced setting and convert my previous nighthawk AX120 into a bridge/AP and make my newer AXE500 the new network hub. It’s difficult to even get to the online router login page to make these changes, but since that’s not supported very well, it eventually kicks you out of the router admin settings and sends you to netgears home page. It’s very frustrating trying to get this system setup and having to go back. And forth in the online portal that you can’t get back into instead of having this in the APP like previous generations and other products. I expected more from netgear, especially if I had know this , I may have tried to buy into another system/network .

Latest version has a bug with unlimited data plans.. Latest update has a bug that doesn’t show currently used data amounts if you have an unlimited data plan. Reported and they responded quickly that it will be fixed in the next release.

Keeps getting better. I enjoy the power this app has to control my hotspot. There are some vernacular differences between the hotspot, app and web app, but those are trivial. Best of all, the app is well supported — regular updates.

Netgear. I found myself in trouble when a device I use changed it’s IP address. Then a friend told me the app would give me the IP addresses when a device was powered on. I powered up the device and opened the app and there it was. And I was back in control of my device.

Just Don’t!. Just Don’t waste your time even pressing the GET button on this. Just back out of this screen and search something else. This app is slow, inaccurate, inaccessible and frustrating. It does not keep track of devices logged onto your WiFi, it is hard to navigate with your mobile devices and it’s not secure. How do I know this? Well, an entire domain was operating off my mobile WiFi Netgear hotspot and this app had no intentions of letting me in on the secret. Maybe I should ask the domain members how they would rate this because I never really got to use it. A good point I have to say is that I used all my spare time waiting around for this app to do its thing by starting my own glass making business.

Flawless modem with nice app. I am using this modem device about a year. Its a pocket size and useful internet provider which connects and streams data very fast. The app in mobile enables controlling authentication as well as battery and data usage. You can decided which other devices are allowed to connect and which should be blocked. Besides you can determine frequency band, passwords, the number of connections and display settings.

Saved me from restless nights. Made it easier to control my access to the inter webs and stop my children’s from the pornography sites. NOT TODAY SATAN! Thanks to the help of this wonderful app I’ve saved my children from the fire filled pits of satans domain(also known as hell).

Great connection. Very pleased with app! It is very easy to use! Had it setup and running in just a few minutes.

Darned app is driving me APE. I have an Arlo Go, which exceeds my expectations (terrific device) and its been in service for about 6 months now. I liked it SO MUCH that I purchased a second Arlo Go, but how in the world do I use the app to purchase a “more robust” plan for data and numerous triggers? If a moth blows through the scene, the resulting 10 second video drains the basic plan, and I want to purchase the BIG plan as I have for the first Arlo Go. Where did the option go, for buying more data usage through the app?

Great App. Impressed by the functionality of this app, It is very user friendly and informative. I use it for my Netgear Nighthawk M1 MR1100. I do see that some else maybe has the same phone number because I see messages. Overall nice work!

Buggy, crash once a while. Reinstall needed.. App itself is Ok, when it work. When it not work, it entered a loop on the login page, logged in but unable display any useful informations and jump back to the login page again then logged in then jump back again again and again. I have to delete it, download from App Store problem is gone until it decides stop working again, same symptoms as describe above. Three stars only for when it work(functionality still needs more than the web interface), Minus one for the troubles.

Works well but not remotely. The app works well for assessing key metrics of the NightHawk Mi-Fi unit. I do wish however that I could access the unit remotely. Unfortunately you can only access it while on the same Wi-Fi network that the unit is broadcasting.

Need improvement. Type is too small, need glasses to read the app, designed by young-eyed designers. It’s is possible on the MR1100 to block your own device. There needs to be a warning that the IP address you don’t recognize that you want to block is your own mobile phone using this app, then your locked out until you can manage in a computer and unblock yourself. Firmware updated? Hardware upgrades and new batteries?

Features getting removed off for no reason whatsoever.. I have been trying to find how to use WPS mode for devices that only connect that way ex; a printer and I just learned I cannot even use WPS anymore. Neither on this app nor the router. Am so annoyed by this and the joke is that the WPS on & off is still on the options, but I cannot active it like the push of a button anymore.

Stuck in an authentication loop. I have enjoyed the app when it has worked properly. It’s very adept at making adjustments and configuring the router. My app tends to repeat the authentication process over and over again. It never shows the dashboard or let’s me now make adjustments to the router. So now I just use the web access portal. It functions just as well as the app and lets me log in to my device.

Ok when it works.. I have an M6 Wifi Puck and it works great the app not so much. It is clunky, fails to log in most the time and when it does decide to work saving changes to my settings or device configuration is impossible until it decides to work. When it does decide to work it provides good information and tools. Would be great if there were widgets implemented that show battery,data usage,signal strength etc. But as it stands thats probably to much to ask of this software. Worse part is there are device features you cant use or change unless through the app or the webUi. Which at that point just dont even use the app.

Average, as expected. Works as advertised once a session is established. My heartburn stems from setting the admin password during initial setup. Supposedly the maximum length is sixty-three bytes, but doing so results in a failure to login later. If the password is ridiculously short and weak, there are no issues. I haven't taken the time to experiment to see where the password length breaks the app or Netgear's common password routine, you'd think they'd have a test case for this before the software makes it into production. I've observed this behavior in their other routers and versions of these management apps. And this also applies to the Wi-Fi password. So annoying but should be an easy fix.

It’s only okay. This app works but not very well. It’s slow to respond and some links don’t seem to work until you close and restart the app. Very laggy also. Using it for my Nighthawk M6 Pro. For the cost of that hotspot, I’d expect software that works well.

Decent options. The older WiFi devices have you more control on the device it self. Would like to be able to have different names for all of the WiFi networks and the option to check for updates.

Good, but missing functions. As far as router management apps goes this one is fairly good, but for me it misses a few features, mainly related to Arlo support. It would be nice to be able to use SD card as offline option to save Arlo clips and to use Arlo cameras even when wifi offloading is enables (not sure if the hardware itself supports that). The other thing is to be able to setup SD card as a Time Machine disk for Mac backup (I guess smb access would be needed for that).

Would not recommend this app nor the Netgear hotspot. In the first place, a stand-alone WIFI hotspot should not require a separate app in order to use it. In the second place, the app is clumsy and doesn’t really do much. I think both products are pretty low quality and would recommend neither. They really only just barely work.

Glitching. Every time I try to use this app it always glitches. When I first got it, it glitches out and made a password and entered it then I reset my hotspot and made an account and finally got it working and then I tried to add the guest WiFi and it froze the box up. I had to reset it once again and now when I got to click apply it won’t let me press the button.

Decent app and a feature suggestion. Does what I was expect it to do. I would like to suggest a feature that I haven’t found browsing through the settings on the mobile app or the web interface which is to include an option to input how much data has already been used on the data plan. For instance if transferring from a different device, or needing to reset the mobile router, or having multiple data plans (sims) that a user might switch between.

Needed Feature. I like the app and it never gives me any problems but I wish I could access the router outside the local network. I use a mobile WiFi router for internet at a remote location and it would be nice to check on the router if I suspect issues with service.

Do not ask me to review your app on first launch. It is worrying that Netgear doesn't have the patience or competence to wait until I’ve had any opportunity to actually use the app to pop up a dialog to review the app. Not Apple’s dialog to review the app either, which also is probably a competence issue. Normally I wouldn’t review an app after only 5 seconds, in fact I’ve spent more time writing this review than I have using the app, but that didn’t stop Netgear from asking me instead of letting me actually use the app so here’s your 1 star review. Update: I’ve actually “used” the app now and if I could give it zero stars I would. This app gets stuck in a login loop with my brand new Nighthawk M1 and completely unusable. Just utter garbage. No wonder they wanted to rate it before using it!

Absolute joke of an app. I don’t know where to start…. What should be (and IS, for many other similar products) a simple product interface, this is ridiculous… to keep it short, if you’re looking to get up and running quickly, look elsewhere. Anywhere else. This is honestly the worst product interface I’ve ever seen or used.

Great App and Router running in AT&T’s awesome network. App is straight forward and everything required to setup and maintain the setting on my AT&T mobile router. Running on AT&T’s great network with an awesome router and this app, I couldn’t be happier with my internet data.

Informative app!. Update: Allow users to view battery temp in Fahrenheit. My Unite Explore lets us view battery temps under advanced but it's in Celsius. We Americans would prefer Fahrenheit please. This is a great app that I use with my AT&T Netgear 781S AirCard hotspot. It tells you everything you need to know about your hotspot such as battery percentage, monthly usage, session usage, number of devices connected and so much more! The app gives you essentially the same information you'd see on the actual Netgear screen, but this allows for mobile viewing if you have your hotspot placed away from you such as your office or room. Awesome app to have if you use any of the supported devices listed.

If you can’t get real WiFi. Best solution for where we live in country with no internet cable service. 5G seems to make a big difference in speed. Pricy device and service but our only relatively useful connection.

Not very impressed but its alright i guess. Not veryi am a voice over / screen reader user and its a pain navigating through this app there is actually no option to select back to a previous page , have to close the app and restart it then select the option i want to go. I am blind and my wife says there is a little tiny button in the top somewhere that brings you back to the previous page, sure ok she can see it but the voice over doesnt detect it. This app can use some improvements , thanks for reading i am happy tho with my router it seems to work ok wish i had more control over it with the app

No real band-locking options.. For the price and needs of people using these routers, support for locking bands should be there. The options do exist but are hidden to the end-user. Another issue is that the advanced statistics page needs clean up. I think that adding some graphs and details about each column would be a good QoL change to people that need that information. Seriously, add band locking back. Very important feature for us rural users looking to get anything above 2 mbps.

Great Control App. Has all the features and control I really need on this simple app. Great for me because I don’t have to get up all the time and manually tinker with my router. I can do all through the app!

M1. I like to be able to see how much data is being used. Also like that I can block and unblock devices. It is good app to monitor everything.

Very fast in comparison to earlier version. Better menu better everthing

Bad device firmware or app. Not sure where the fault is, but the Netgear Nighthawk M1 has been nothing but trouble. After the battery bloated, I was told I had to update the firmware to get the battery replaced! Naturally the update has made the ethernet port non-functional. This is just the latest in a long series of problems. Netgear are not with the trouble.

A mess of an update. Almost impossible to log into my Aircard 810S with my iPhone 6 with the latest firmware. Keeps logging in and out then won’t authenticate at all. The app before the update was fine and should be rolled back.

Resetting password. This set up is utterly useless it won’t let me reset my password and doesn’t point me in the right direction if i could rate lower than one star i wouldn’t hesitate.

Data usage should be visible. Why is data usage not available to see? This is the only thing that I don’t like about the app other that it is very good.

A bad app. A complete waste. I tried to sign in and it says the user name is incorrect however it won’t let you change the user name. I rang Netgear for assistance but as I bought the mobile Nighthawk from Telstra they could only help if I paid them $70. What a con and a complete abrogation of their responsibility for their product. Pity as the product itself is very good

Notifications??. No notifications alerts even if you have it turned ON in settings. Checked my iPhone and it is ON but still nothing if you are close to your data allowance. C’mon we need a fix!!

Pretty limited. This app is pretty limited to what it tells you. Tracking data usage is limited to telling you what the main screen displays. Not great to navigate menus. iPad support would be great, with landscape.

Exceeded Expectations. The Utility Functions of this App when used with the Netgear 810s (Telstra ADV iii) are excellent and enable remote management of the mobile broadband router. The “Signal Strength” data is very useful.

Rubbish app - my 15 Sierra Wireless devices are useless. When Netgear took over Sierra Wireless and updated the app they dropped massive amounts of functionality Now I can no longer see SMS messages sent to the device, although it manages to remind me each time I logon that my SMS memory is full Just not to see or delete them, useless if you need a PIN to add data to a SIM - hello !!!

Rate the app pop up displays when trying to log on. Annoyingly this happens when trying to enter password, but the keyboard prevents the ability to dismiss the pop up. About the worst time to ask for feedback....

LB2120 lack of functionality. It doesn’t even show the type of connection it’s currently at (wired or LTE). Please match the functions from the web admin page.

Great app. The app is great but there is a few bugs here and there but over all it’s a great app to monitor my data usage have 4 devices connected and no issues

Data remaining date fix. Hello could you implement a yearly option instead of a monthly cycle for data usage.

Where has all the data gone. One of the reasons for buying this device was its ability to track data usage. This facility has been removed from the device and nothing is being done to overcome the deficiency. Please Telstra and NETGEAR get together and remedy the problem and return the device to what I paid for.

Admin Password. It would be extremely helpful for the user if the App actually recognized the password on the Nighthawk router. After numerous (20+) attempts I have given up. Get the “Pro” model, you won’t have a problem they said. Pfft

Terrible!!!!!. Our net gear nighthawk won’t connect to the app. Although the internet connection is fine the box doesn’t show anything connected (although all devices work) and we cannot access the app! It won’t recognise any login details and it keeps going back to the login page when we try to login. I has worked previously but despite reinstalling, resetting the device, going through this with Telstra etc. there is nothing I can do to actually utilise the excellent features of this???? Grrrrrr!!

No battery management. This app is supposed to be for portable devices. I have a Nighthawk M1 which would be great if it stay on reliably. I can never leave it operating for long because the battery dies quickly even when plugged in due to an overheating issue that’s plagued the community for year. You should be able to use this on ac power with a battery in reserve but the stupid software draws power from the battery instead of the cable, and it gets worse because it also fails to charge as soon as the unit is switched on for more than 10 minutes due to overheating. It’s just lazy that this hasn’t been fixed yet

READ THIS ONE: Nighthawk please stop the spam. There is no way to stop spam on the Nighthawk. All I can do is delete the messages. There is no spam folder, the messages ate all treated as legitimate. Please do something about this!

Great Wifi unit. Works well for us, easy to top up and manages everyone’s iPads, phones and all other stuff in our car.

Not sure. Not sure if it’s app or device but overall coverage and connection between the two is terrible.

It works 🙂. It’s as simple or technical as you want. Does everything it needs to. It never crashes.

Data Usage never available. Aside from constantly having to reboot and slow speeds, my nighthawk worked great until the last update which made it tell me that data usage was unavailable at this time, ALL THE TIME tho. I have since found out that this was Telstra’s doing to make users unable to monitor their usage via the nighthawk device. I take another star away because you could have warned us netgear!

Nighthawk MR1100 - Very Limited App. The difference between supposed functions and actual is massive. Example: go to Support on app, it takes you to a web page where you have to login again. If you want to contact support within first 90 days for free, make sure you have details from confirmation email. No link to chat or phone on the app. Usage is same issue, in first 3 days used 8.36GB out of 10GB on email and online shopping, 3 devices linked. Cannot find which device used this. I found my ISP app is faster at updating overall usage than this app. This operation is cumbersome, frustrating and does not fill me with a desire to purchase a support programme. Not user friendly for a semi-dinosaur who admits Windows 7 Pro is still my favourite OS.

Needs to be updated. This up needs to be updated to have versatility for today. One example is the ability to click links that come in messages. Or the ability to reply to them with a Y or N .

Very basic and not very useful. Very limited use. I am having reliability issues and suspect that they are related to the modem getting too hot, or the modem is timing out, the app is virtually useless helping me troubleshoot

Mobile reception metering. Would like mobile band and levels on app. Not just the rudimentary bars on the device

Poor response to voiceover. Has poor response to voiceover gestures. No visible V/O back buttons on many screens, tap buttons for storage and messages and will often go to usage scrreen rather than storage and messages screen. Need to unload App to get out of some screens when using V/O. Poor effort by developer and poor effort by Netgear / Telstra.

Usage. Unable to View my usage on this network as I only have 100 gbts I like to check every week

Cannot login into admin interface. After setting it up for the first time using the app via iPhone XS, I can no longer get into the admin interface. After entering password and selecting login it cycles between ‘searching for mobile router’ and the login page constantly every 10 seconds or so.

Makes life easier!. An app for users that need to customise or use the more out of the way features of mobile hotspots

Nighthawk. The app works well. I had some trouble at the start and had to to a reset. I would like to be able to see on the app how much power is remaining on the unit so I can see when to recharge it.

Now not compatible. Model – MR2100 I just came back from a four week holiday and turned all my devices back on. When I open the app to connect to my router, the app says.” incorrect, Wi-Fi mobile router” “ Sorry this mobile router is not supported by the netgear mobile app” I’ve been using this app to connect with my router for several months. Now I can’t for some reason.

Fine app. Extremely useful tool. Makes using my nighthawk modem a breeze. Especially like the remote power switch off facilty.

MR1100 no problems. I’ve used this for many years now and other than it hasn’t got the latest security it is a good functional and stable unit, easy to use anywhere there’s signal in Australia.

Works but just won’t work.. If you constantly looking at the software then you will get all information that you need. But, the notification just won’t work. 99% of the time the low low power alert don’t work.

Nighthawk. I have this device it is faster than our wireless nbn at 50mbs Can be up to 10 times faster Would thoroughly recommend to any person wanting a portable access point with a media server also Best device ever Tom

Good, but.... It does what it’s supposed to do but there’s no provision in the app, or the device for that matter to change the time. I would have expected the SIM card to provide the device the time, but no.

Good if you can open it!. This app is really useless. If it accepts your correct password and it opens then it is good. When I first set it up there was no problems at all. After a couple of months it stopped accepting my password. This situation continued for several months and out of the blue it decided to open. What joy! Alas you shouldn’t expect good things to last forever. I’m presently in situation where it hasn’t opened for several months! I’ve tried reinstalling the app several times to no avail. I run the app on an iPhone and two iPads, all with the same result. Bill Grosvenor.

Works as expected. Despite the bad reviews, I’m lucky that the device and app work well enough for me. There seems to be some features missing like the ability to set a SSID broadcast; nor have I tried it as a media server; but it’s a robust wireless cnx, portable, and I can manage most fns from the app on my smart phone.

Update firmware to remove accidental SSID editing. Everything is good but the air card allows you to edit the WiFi passcode from the main screen! Everytime I put this device in my pocket, I’ve ‘bum edited’ the SSID or passcode. It’s so easy to change it’s ludicrous. For example: if your WiFi password is “wifi1234”. After travelling about for the day my passcode will have changed to “wifi1234GGGGGJJHUUUUUsaggggGHHHHHHHIOOPPPPPP” Dumb feature that will never get fixed.

Pretty good for an accessory app. The app appears well made and is much easier than navigating the tiny screen on the device

Useless. Cannot open app put in the required password on device and keeps going back to start all in all these netgear mobile devices are a scam if you ask me chews the data quicker than an ethiopian on a all you can eat bar

Crappy. Takes forever to load...but eventuaaaaaaly gives info. I have the newest iPad with the A6 processor so it should be lightening fast...my Internet connection speed is 20.1Mbpsfrom Speedtest.net.

Impressed. Just for this from Rogers so far only played with it 10 mins and am impressed. GPS doesn't seem to work but will play with it more.

Was great until the "NetGear" update. Worked fine when it was Sierra Wireless. Updated to the latest "NetGear" version, now it crashes 80% of the time.

Using 763S. Need some improvements.. The device AND the app should show on the first page, with bold and big letters, how much is your MONTHLY USAGE. That is the most important info before anything! Actually the device should not show the password on the first page. Also there is nothing to disable the WPS key. It is easy to press it while it is in your pocket or purse... The device is not able to work computers shared on a hub. Each computer has to connect to the aircard strait thru wifi. That makes it hard to use in home. (Need MAC clonning). If your device is connected to a different wifi, the app will tell you the device is not compatible with this app. The problem is that you are on the wrong wifi, but you will think that the app doesn't work. That is a problem on IOS devices: you never know where you are connected. IOS can change your wifi source on the fly and you won't know it! IOS should show on the top screen which network you are using... This app should show you on which network (name of the gateway) you are. This way you can fix it right way. It should add to that message that "maybe you are on the wrong wifi" and OFFER you a shortcut to wifi settings. Maybe many users that told that the app doesn't work are having this problem. Developers should check if the crashes reported are happening if the IOS change wifi while the app is connected to the aircard...

Sierra Aircard app. Works well. Only thing I would recommend adding control for GPS.

I've used this App for a few years now when I rented a WiFi Card or Rocket Stick some call it. anyways since the recent upgrade I thought I've never wrote a review, I Love this App actually! it's very easy to use! looks great! & has never crashed/frozen on me, like so Many Apps do! it contains everything I've needed to check out, settings, etc., & again it looks great! ok so here's my tiny lil' beef - the Icon! lol! small thing generally (although I've been swayed, kept/deleted Apps) , for this very small generally insignificant thing - the Look -Colours used for Icons & I Must say your older Icon was beautiful! I really, really loved the colours & design - one of my many screens on my iPhone was built with that Icon as the first App on that 'Home Screen', just sayin' -that's HOW much I ❤️ the older Icon! Want to be shown Usage in Megabytes. Since my monthly bill is based on a flex plan, of which the first 100 MB is where I strive to stay, I find the Monthly Usage and Session Usage numbers are a little hard to read (since they are in GB). Maybe add an option in next release if user wants to be shown MB or GB.

Awesome for my hotspot. Loved being able to see the battery meter on my hotspot from the app. Quick to load up too.

Handy. Works well, although slow. Lets me see a numeric signal strength to see how much the external antenna helps.

Netgear App. This app works very well, it allows you to have full control of your device. I am impressed and pleased.

Does not pick up supported hotspot. My AirCard 763S (Rogers) is supposedly supported, but goes unrecognized by the App. What a let down after spending all that money. As well, online menu where I can manage my hotspot can not be found and/or opened up. Bummer

App is Useless. I tried renaming my signals several times and while the router rebooted with every press of the save button, the changes never took. I had to use the m1login.net to update the router settings and have since deleted the app because it’s 100% useless.

Broken App. Even though I'm connected, on my iPhone still cannot access my profile with the app as it's saying device not supported. Accessed my profile through my laptop fine. Deleted and reinstalled on the phone same problem.

This app is trash. I don’t understand the great reviews of this app. I get stuck on a login loop which makes it completely unusable, totally unacceptable. Don’t buy this hardware if you expect to have a usable software GUI. Stay away! Less than one star is my rating.

No Remote Access. You have to be directly connected to this WiFi device in order to get the data use and manage your device settings. This is not helpful when trying use it for Arlo remote camera use.

Good App. Simple to use and user friendly

Clunky software. The software thinks it’s a web site. Terrible scrolling. Very unresponsive. Features are hidden with little to no explanations. Trying to reproduce the software on the modem - terrible idea. Can’t update modem firmware from the app.

WAAAY TOO CONFUSING. Impossible to use. It resets the device to sleep after 15 minutes each time it is reset. Device has to be reset about once a week. Totally disappointed with this. Way below Netgear’s usual performance.

Garbage. This app is such garbage. The hotspot itself doesn’t work correctly so I tried to set up my backup WiFi in the app, but it just lands me on a screen that I can’t get out of. Only option is to close the app! But when I restart the app, it goes right back to the same screen! Utter garbage!

Good App. Some people need to become a little more computer savvy!! I doesn’t take a genies to do this. ! So don’t complain, learn to use it before you buy it.

Very Buggy. This app is clearly a decade old with minor bug fixes through out the years. When spending as much as I did on a hotspot, I expected the backend to be more user friendly.

Needs updated. The last update is over a year old. Does not save the password nor keep you logged in via the app. Type in correct password when it comes up says wrong password.

Trash. No matter how many times I clear my cache, uninstall the app or force quit it, it won’t ever let me login. I’ve read support forums and this problem is reoccurring and unsolved. I’ve had the mobile hotspot for one night and have already decided that I am taking it back to AT&T tomorrow. This is absolute garbage

Stupid. The app asked me for a review about five seconds after I downloaded it. It interrupted my trying to log into my router, and the login screen hung afterwards. I’m not sure what the point of the app is. The web interface to configure my router makes more sense to me.

Need to know data usage. Can you update to keep it to where I can see the data usage on the app for more than 2 seconds?

Used to work. With this update I can rarely log into my MIFI. I have all Netgear equipment, MIFI and WIFI extenders. Before this update, I logged in often troubleshooting my connection. Last MIFI failed and AT&T replaced it, but I can’t log in to the old or new one since the update.

Terrible. Has box to check to save password. Have checked box every time, then when I go back to log on again, have to enter password all over again.

Horrible. I've been dealing with netgear for 15-20 years now and used to think they got simple things as such figured out. Seems we are back to the old days... Doesn't connect to my wifi says it's incorrect but there aren't any option to get into. It just tells you that it don't work. No way to troubleshoot. Just horrible.

App doesn’t handle this new 5G router from AT&T. Very disappointed. The manual for this router points to to get this app for iOS at the App Store. Downloaded it only to find out this particular router can not use this app. Router model is MR1100 nighthawk. I am also disappointed in the performance. Won’t connect half the time when putting in my password. Get various errors or no response at all.

Disappointed. The app, while slick looking, doesn’t work well. I have had to uninstall several times. It does not recognize my router network even when I’m clearly connected and sitting within 4 feet of the router.

Poor functionality. Need app to see mobile nighthawk as AT&T Wi-Fi manager will not respond and can’t get assistance resetting passwords. This doesn’t work either. Everyone wants to sell mobile hotspots but no one supports them.

App ok Netgear needs help. It be better if Netgear stop updating mr6 routers and add a log feature to aid in troubling shooting would also go a long way.

Update?. Wonder if this app will be updated to support iOS 14? One thing saw in the Netgear app in order for this app to run under iOS 14 - is you need to go into the settings for the app and change ‘Access to local network’ to ON and then app is back functional.

Netgear App. I can login to the router when plugged in with no issues. It doesn’t work well when logging in their the app.

App won’t recognize my device. I have had my mobile hot spot for about 2 years and this app always worked great but now it will not recognize my device. I have tried restarting the hotspot multiple times and it still won’t work so currently the app is useless.

Useless. Mobile app will not recognize my MR1100. Netgear Tech Support is less then useless,...two hours on the phone through an seemingly endless do-loop of transfers, only to be told that the Mobil app has a bit small bug in it in that it doesn’t recognize some newer units. Just useless!!!

Review. Like being able to check usage in app. But app freezes & have to remove battery in router to reset router,needs a little more work.

Modify some problems on the program. The program needs a lot of modification as follows: 1- Specifies the speed of data used for related devices. 2- Do not block when you reboot the Wi-Fi network.

Best Wi-fi app. I have been using hotspots for work on iPads for about 7 years. This app is the best one I have ever used. It displays very useful information in an easy-to-read fashion.

Usage data missing. Spent 30 min, can’t find the usage data for my hotspot. There’s a weird message that says the data may not be accurate but that’s all I can find.

Greap app. I recommend this app for everyone it mange the router best and easy to use. Keep up with the good work hope there is future updates coming.
