App closing. I just purchased the app and have yet to be able to use it. Whenever I click to open it the app immediately crashes. My phone is up to date (iPhone X) and since I’m just downloading the app for the first time I’m assuming there is no new update, nor do I see one.

So helpful!. I've tried using websites like easy auscultation and while they're helpful while listening I still could not differentiate murmurs without seeing them in front of me. I really appreciate the info button, I just wish the heart sound would continue playing after I've clicked it. I also like that it has a button to compare the murmur to normal. But by far the most helpful is the graphic representation of the murmur below the graphic depicting the location it's best heard at. Well worth the couple of dollars spent!

Great app!. My cardiology instructor recommended this app when learning the different murmurs and I’m happy to report that this app is amazing! I love the quiz feature that helps gauge my knowledge. I definitely have used this app when studying for boards. Would definitely purchase this if I were you!

App won’t open iOS 12. Loved this app, but it won’t open on my new iPhone XS with iOS 12. I tried deleting and reinstalling without luck. Hope it gets fixed.

Lifesaver for students. Very helpful for learning different murmurs and trying to get an idea for what you should be listening for on your patients. Quiz portion is awesome for self testing. Information is thorough also. Recommend for all medical students.

Nice app.... Enjoying your app. I think it's a fun way to work on auscultation skills and the text explanations have been helpful in understanding exactly what's going on in the heart to make these sounds. Two suggestions: 1. Consider making an advanced module with additional sound clips of variations and different heart rates, then mix them in randomly in quiz mode. 2. Make a lung sounds app!!! :) Thanks!

A good app with details. I like this app. It does what it says, and it labels the sounds. For example it doesn't just play the sound for mitral regurgitation. It also has a visual representation of it which shows the points you should hear s1 and the other sounds present in pathology during a heartbeat. There is also a quick link back to a normal heart sound for easy comparison. I hope you like it.

Finally a murmur application that is actually helpful. Finally a murmur application that is actually helpful. As a medical student heart murmurs is one of the hardest things to learn and every doctor I've spoken to always tells me that the best way to learn is by just hearing these sounds over and over again. If you just keep listening then you will just become familiar with each heart sound and it will make life on the wards a lot easier. The quiz mode is also fantastic. Additionally, it's a universal app for iPhone and iPod with just a single purchase.

I love this app! Excellent sound quality for numerous murmurs. Just listened to all the murmurs listed in app (numerous and pretty much cover every heart murmur I can think of right now). All the murmurs were clear. I also like the visual showing murmurs and how they related to cardiac cycle. Highly recommend this app. I think it’s an excellent training tool, and review.

Please update. Bought this for my upcoming NBME exam and it crashes every time I open the app. Not mad, just disappointed.

Doesn’t work. I tried finding contact info to hopefully troubleshoot the app with the developer but as if righter now, the app doesn’t work. I bought it this morning, and it will not load. I’m on an iPhone Xs. Hopefully there is an update soon.

Useful but annoying lack of compatibility with iPhone X. Goes without saying that the utility of the app is unparalleled but please update compatibility to iPhone X. People PAY YOU MONEY for this app. It’s not unreasonable to expect it to be up to date with compatibility to current Apple devices and if you’re not going to keep it up to date then warn prospective buyers before they spend their money only to have the app occupy 2/3 the screen because the developers are too lazy to update the compatibility.

Great app two suggestions. Great app, thank you! Would be even better if i) could compare one murmur to the sound of another similar murmur (e.g., pericardial knock vs S3 gallop) directly back and forth, vs now you can only compare each murmur vs normal heart sounds. ii) Heart sounds were more realistic. They sound kind of synth-y, and the biggest challenge I have is translating what I hear on this app and similar online sites to what actual patient heart sounds sound like. Some better audio files would help a lot here. Thank you again!

Crashing. I paid and downloaded the app. As a med student this was helpful and I was learning but since the update it doesn't work anymore. The second I open it crashes. I reinstalled it , but still not working ☹️☹️ I use and i8+. I hope you will do something about it. Please.

Well Put together app. I really enjoy this app, every once in a while a wealth of knowledge becomes available in an app like this on itunes and I can't help but get it and see what it has to offer. This was worth every penny with sound recordings that I believe to be recorded directly from a medical device and information about the causation and possible treatments as well as links to external resources regarding the condition. Listening to the heart sounds via headphones will allow you to hear far more detail in the recordings as well as mimicing what you would hear through a stethoscope . This is a great study tool, reference app or just general knowledge for those interested in cardio medical fields I definitely recommend it.

Quiz feature is awesome. I found this app incredibly useful during cardio block. There are many ways to passively learn heart sounds, but the app lets you take quizzes and compare the sounds against each other. It was a great active learning experience.

Great app for practical learning. I love this app for learning what murmurs sound like and where you hear them. I wish it would include the text descriptions that included the keywords as well to help study for written test (ie. Midsystolic click, holosystolic, etc)

Can’t use thanks to an update. Literally, 48 hours after I purchased the app, Apple did an update and I cannot use the app. Was worth it, now wasted!

Best Murmur App. By far the best (and maybe only?) murmur app on the iTunes store! The quiz mode is fantastic, especially the Multiple Choice option. IT really forces you to listen carefully to the difference between each sound. If you do anything that requires physical examination of patients, you need this app!

get it. use it.. get it and use it. it sounds like Step-1 USMLE murmur audio questions. so get it. but actually use it. a lot. and you'll have no problem with those murmurs on step-1

Great, accurate, informative app!. Highly recommend this app for a review of heart sounds! It has the option to compare every abnormal heart sound to the normal. It's also nice that it shows a schematic of where to auscultate, as well as when the sound is traveling through S1 and S2.

Fantastic, just one request to make it 5 stars. App is the best resource I have found to better understand murmurs. My only request is that they allow comparison with other murmurs. Right now they have an option to compare each murmur with normal bit extending that would be amazing

Amazing. So useful, I searched all 50 reviews, and none of them were negative, and I am not going to be the first one to break the streak, it is a wonderful, educational, amazing app.

Suggestion. Great app works fine and all, but wish I could overlap multiple heart sounds to hear what that would sound like.

Good learning tool. I like this application. Easy to navigate. Only problem is when you read the information section the sound end. Would be nice to read and listen at the same time. Overall good learning tool if learning to distinguish between heart sounds.

Advertisements on a PAID app. I bought two of the applications at $3 each, and while I find them useful, there is a pop up EVERYTIME I launch the application that advertises the four apps this guy made. I think it is ridiculous to pay for an app and still have advertisements staring me in the face when EVERY SINGLE TIME I decide to use the app. I would not have purchased them had I known about them.

Great learning tool. Gives excellent audio with visual aid to help learn tricky heart sounds. The visual aid helps the learner differentiate systolic from diastolic murmurs if the concepts the mechanical function of the heart and basic valve pathophysiology is understood.
