Lack of common tests. The one reason I downloaded this app was to research ANA (antinuclear antibodies titer), a fairly common test for diagnosing lupus and other autoimmune conditions and it’s not listed! Seriously? This is a huge waste of my time and money as I’m in a specialty and I’m totally surprised that a test as common as this one would be missing. It’s crazy.

Great app. Practicing psychiatry for 9 years. I refer to my Bakerman's ABC of Lab Values often. The app is no where near as extensive as Bakerman's, but I usually don't need that much detail. Hope they continue to update # and explanation of entries. Love being able to look up any time. Great that we don't have to be online or wi-fi. I like to have entries located relative to each other like how they show up on paper, because my eyes are used to looking at certain positions. Example, I prefer ALT & AST next to each other and WBC's should be at the top of a CBC. I rearranged the positions and saved them but when another panel is chosen the app forgets those saved positions. Wish that was fixed.

Best lab values app. Best lab values app on the iTunes store! Excellent information with each lab that is actually relevant and helpful. The developers are incredible as well, always answering my emails within a day! I asked for additional labs and sure enough, they were included in the next update. This is how a company should be run!

Super great!. I love this app! Has all the labs, it separates them in categories for easier access and it even let's you edit the values according to the facility you work since there are slight variations. It not only gives you the normal range, but also explains what that test is and the significance of increased and decreased values for it. If all this wasn't enough, it has medical abbreviations, suffixes and prefixes for you to find out what they mean. Excellent tool! I totally recommend it!

Very Useful!. Would definitely recommend to anyone in healthcare. Most hospitals include normal values with their labs but the meaning of high or low values is not easy to remember. That's where I find this app so useful. They even have several links to external websites that have more information

Great app. I am Med Tech student, this app is great has a extensive library full of test and values. While I have most of this memorized, having some of lesser known chemistry tests results at had is great resource for any Med Tech students. Definitely would recommend this app.

Very informative and handy !!. GREAT quick reference for labs and reasons for abnormalities. Being able to "star" the labs that are needed for current classes and clinicals makes references easier and quicker. I recommend double checking values to the NCLEX normal lab values and editing where appropriate!

Good to have. As some one who has a complicated medical situation, I have frequent labs done. It is great having this app for my visits to health care providers. I can read up as we view the lab reports. Saves both doctor and myself time and has created a better bridge for both of us to manage my health!

Not worth the money. Can’t believe I paid for this app. The screen would cut in the middle and won’t show the lab values in full screen (lower half of the screen will be white and doesn’t respond to tapping or scrolling with fingers). Definitely some kind of bugs there that need to be fixed.

Need update. It was a good app though, currently it crashes frequently and can't send email from contact us. There need to be data update in some new lab items e.g., cystatin C, etc.

Two thumbs up!. This app is very helpful to the nursing student...it is especially helpful when in the clinical setting when you need to access reference information quickly!

AMAZING. I absolutely love this app!! It allows you to edit and remove things not used, gives you a little background into the values, and even has a spot for favorites and recently viewed. I almost didn't get it because there weren't a lot of reviews and I was worried I wouldn't like it, but it's totally worth the money and a great asset for students, nurses, and doctors. LOVE IT!!

Great for the most part. This app desperately needs to add patient preparation; such as: should they fast? What medications, foods and activities should be avoided..otherwise it is great. Please do this in an update. Nurses may work in an unfamiliar area and provide misinformation which would lead to the patients wasting their time due to inaccurate labs.

Works well except cannot open additional information. This is the third app that I have that discusses laboratory results and it does a very good job. It is also supposed to have additional resources i.e. links to websites for further information such as Wikipedia however none of them work as I get an error message talking about how Apple transport security needs to have a secure connection, and this won't work on my home Wi-Fi nor using my data plan. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future.

Critical Care Paramedic. This is an excellent application for quick and easy access when the info is needed when minutes count in the Critical Care setting.

just what the doctor ordered. This app is incredible, whether you're looking for information on the tests you're getting done, a student trying to stay on top of things, or a lab tech in need of a cheat sheet this app has everything. All of the information in 3 in 1 medical reference is neatly laid out, complete, and easy to access. Where necessary the information flows into each other seamlessly and quickly with no crashing experienced. I would recommend this app to anyone with no hesitation.

Amazingly simple to use. The purpose of having these lab values on your iPhone or iPad is for convenience. This app delivers just that. It's responsive and the coding is done well because there are little delays between commands if at all. It's helped me through sample cases in my course. I'm sure it will do the same for others. -Will

Great app!. This is a wonderful app for quickly referencing lab values. I love how it's organized! Gave it 4 stars because it shows that advertisement that I have to remove every time I open it. I paid for the app and want no ads! I need to reference as quickly as possible at work. Remove that opening ad and I'll give it 5 stars.

A Must Have If You Work In Med Field. I bought this after going through several other similar apps and this one is great. Has all the frequent tests you'll see on the avg. med-surg settings. What sets this one apart is its a stand alone so one it is installed and ready to go you don't need a wifi or cell connection. Quick nicely laid out user interface make this an app you can cross ref on your way to a patient or step outside for 10 seconds and check a value out. For 3 bucks its a score!!!!!!

An Incredible Find!. Lots of good Lab reference apps out there but this one stands out for me because you can edit the data. When they say "Fully Customizable" they really mean it. You can literally edit anything. Most of the lab values are spot on but my hospital has a few that are slightly different. I just went ahead and made the changes and now I have my hospitals values. Perfect app!

Must-have for any nurse or student!. Easy to use, loads quickly! Has helped me study without having to look through multiple books or navigate endless websites. I usually steer clear of any app over $.99 but this one is worth every penny!

Useful app. I like using this app, pretty useful for general ranges of values. I would give 5 stars but I found several values that were not accurate. These findings make me paranoid and always have to double check to make sure it's correct. The good thing is you can change the values and save them in the app.

Best Lab Reference app on the market. The app has pretty much all labs you will need reference ranges for and has a ton of info for each one. The editing feature is quite powerful and lets you add or delete info from any field. You can even change the tube top colors if they don't match the ones that your institution uses. They also organize the labs 2 ways. The first is just by topic or organ system. The second is by Common Panels which will group different lab values together by commonly ordered panels in the hospital. On top of all of that, the app is also Universally compatible with iPad! Really nicely done

A+!. I use this app pretty much daily to look up reference values and just to remind myself about what each lab means. I was actually really surprised at how useful it is. I've used other lap apps but I prefer the user interface of this one - it's simple but comprehensive. Highly recommended.

Lab value. Unable to read, as it is all jumbled

Amazing/Detailed lab values but crashes on iOS 5 :(. I bought this app on iOS 4.whatever and it was an amazing and very detailed app. It provided lab values for adult + pediatric and differential dx for increased and decreased values. The reason for the missing 🌟 is because the app does not support IOS 5 yet :( update the app with 5.0 support and it will have my 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

RN , BSN. This app is terrific for myself, in my review of labs and other abbreviations, that, in the vast world of texting lingo gives much needed assistance between both languages. The labs value ranges are always a great quick on the go reference. Especially in ICU. Thanks.

My favorite lab values app. I am a 3rd year medical student and this is the 3rd lab value app I've downloaded and it is my favorite. The others are good also but this particular app is universally compatible with my iPad which I keep with me on my rotations. The iPad layout is quite nice and lets you see all the info on a single page. I found all the information on this particular app extremely useful especially being on wards for the first time. The descriptions are fantastic and have really helped me out on rounds. It's also great that you can edit pretty much everything (I've already adjusted some lab values to match my hospital). They have a ton of labs in here and I've yet to run across anything that I couldn't find. You can also find more information from a bunch of websites directly from within the app. They have links to ClinLab which is just fantastic for lab info (just found out about this site myself) that I believe none of the other lab apps have. Last but not least, you get the abbreviations and prefix/suffix apps in it also. The developers made it so that you can skip these and just use the Lab Values part of the app if you prefer (I do this) but it's nice to have those other options in there as well.

Wow!. Great app! Love the brief descriptions-a lot gets jumbled in my mind when doing labs and analyzing results, and my differentials are often close-but close doesn't cut in on rounds! This app gives me the nudge, and then the ability to verify with google links, towards good, solid differentials. Thanks!!

Best lab reference app on iTunes. Excellent medical reference app. UI is very sleek. One great feature is that I can add new labs or edit existing labs and add comments if I need. You can even add categories in the Lab Values section. I use this app almost daily in the hospital. Very powerful reference tool. The abbreviations and prefix/suffix sections are bonuses, but where this app really shines is the lab values section.

My Go-To Lab App. I saw my friend using this during his rotations and he couldn't stop raving about it. I decided to check it out myself and it quickly became my go-to app. The super clean interface makes it easy to use. It's nice that I can use it on both my iPhone and iPad.

M3 on clinical rotations. Downloaded this after a classmate recommended it to me. Now that I'm well into my third year, I wish I had known about this app sooner as this app's features have been super helpful during my clinical rotations. The beautiful UI and the great customization options make this app my favorite among the other lab values apps I've tried.

Unreadable. The first page I opened is type iver doubke print and totally unusable. Tried reinstalling and no luck. Save your money!!

handy resource!. The descriptions of the lab values are very helpful especially if you don't know what certain labs are for. And it's an easy and quick reference for the ranges. I normally google abbreviations, but this is much faster way to look up something quick. Definitely using the abbreviations function more than I expected.

Health Care Professional. This is a GREAT reference app! I have used several and this is by far the best I have found hands down. 4-stars for only one reason, I wish you could search for a specific lab value without going through the categories. If you don't know what category a value falls under, you have to manually look for it. I would purchase this app again. .99 well spent!

wow high value!. This app has so much information packed into it for its price its amazing! I'm not really sure how you can compile so much information but this is well worth the money! Great customization for MDs of all fields! And trust me, "I'm a doctor!" ;)

Absolutely love. This app is a God send. I love that I can adjust the lab values to reflect what my instructor handout and class text say. As a 1st semester nursing student It took me hours to interpret the labs because I had to spend time looking up all the different lab abbreviations. Now with this app I'm quickly able to find out the meaning of the abbreviated labs and interpret promptly. It also has made my clinical days much easier and has allowed me to have more confidence when presenting patient cases.

Love this App. I use this application daily sometimes hourly. I am an RN and i write care plans and do MDS in LTCF. This application has saved me so much time in research it is amazing!!! I would-highly Recommend this app to any nurse working esp in the LTC setting!!!

Good apps for daily work. I suggest you provide all microbiological findings and their related cause. Also include the relevance of Blood Transfusion antibodies and the phenotypes.

Primary care issues. I tried this app as I'm a preceptor for graduate nurse practitioner students and was looking for something I could recommend. I found Hemoglobin A1c missing from the endocrine section but could find it with the search function which seems only to be accessible from the all test section. The test information does not discuss the limitation of the test with variant hemoglobins. Fructosamine, the alternative test is not in the database at all. I'm concerned with the level of support for primary care in this app. I think this can be a helpful app but will have to give it further trial to see if I should recommend it to others.

Review. Brilliant very easy to use just what I need as a nurse practitiner.

Good Stuff. This app does what it says it does. Well worth it, everything you need is available at a quick glance. The only thing I would want is a bit more info provided regarding the lab values, that said all the basic stuff is there and when you are using it on the fly you don't have time to read a massive description anyway. I also like having the units in SI, that makes it fantastic for those of us living with the metric system (note the units can be changed). From an aesthetic point the user interface could do with an upgrade, visually it's a bit bland and dull and for us with a retina display a tad pixelated on occasion. All up, a great resource for quickly checking up on those lab values that you can never remember!

Good app...but why advertise?. Its a good app: relatively easy to navigate, sufficiently detailed and it's custom UI is easy on the eyes. However, they advertise for their other apps (sometimes using intrusive pop-ups when you launch the app). There is no reason to advertise in a paid app!

3 in 1, medical, lab reference values. This app is very useful for interpreting values within normal ranges with labs and explanations of diseases for the lab tests. I use it in the lab everyday for more information on the tests and a far better app than a specific reference lab app.

Lab app. I sent this to my father as he is a physician and he only replied good things about it from his last work week using it.

Overrated. The search engine is lacking, as it doesn't bring up similar searches. The lab values are very informative and helpful but the user interface is somewhat annoying and confusing. Would recommend looking into other apps before purchasing this one.

3in1. This app does exactly what is says it does, and more. Teaching med students in their first two years of basic biomedical science- this app is very handy. Easy to manipulate and easy to interpret. Very helpful. Highly recommended.

4th year Med Student. This is my "go to" lab reference! Labs are the most important thing you can know and understand! This app is my favorite one! It's easy to use and accurate.

App needs to be debugged soon for IP5. I understand there is a fix for this application in the works or approval process, but a good customer service effort would be to give customers an instruction set on how to remove the update that caused many users application crash. Was a great app for the IP5 and can still be. Please help ASAP. Thank you

Great Update. Love the new container information section! Includes the order of lab draw which is helpful for those who don't draw labs daily and forget the proper order. All around great app.

Excellent reference. I've used many lab references over the years, both paper and electronic. The lab values section is excellent, with test, uses, indications, high-low markers, tube top (with preservative) and further reading.
