Excellent app. When you first open the app there is an advertisement to buy more apps. As soon as you close that add then the app is available. Its an excellent app for easy studying while you have a few spare minutes.

Need larger font. The text is too small to read. cannot change the font size.

Advertisements on a PAID app. I bought two of the applications at $3 each, and while I find them useful, there is a pop up EVERYTIME I launch the application that advertises the four apps this guy made. I think it is ridiculous to pay for an app and still have advertisements staring me in the face when EVERY SINGLE TIME I decide to use the app. I would not have purchased them had I known about them.

Needs MSK section!!!. Users have been asking for an MSK section for a while, how hard is it to add it? The MSK exams are one of the most commonly used and this app is just not complete without it.

not what i expected. i've been waiting for a physical exam app unfortunately this doesnt meet that expectation. i dont expect an entire physical examination text book to be on an app (im actually waiting for an app like that hehehe). the exams on this app feels more like a check off list as opposed to how perform the techniques, which is what i was hoping for. and it'd be cool for the app to explain non-normal findings. now, as a practicing PA i know how to examine patients but it'd be cool to have a mobile resource that refreshes my techniques especially on those exams i dont readily perform. plus there is no ortho exam section! that wouldve been great (with techniques explained) for non-orthos. barbara bates' physical exam textbook is a very good resource. this app shouldve model itself after that.

AZ FNP student. This app looks good EXCEPT where is the musculoskeletal exam??? Please add this part of the exam - there are so many MS exam techniques for specific body systems, and being able to do a quick check here would be excellent. Thanks!

Good; a few minor errors. Overall, this is a quick, fast reference; if you do not know the tests, this will not help you overly much, but it works as a great reminder for established providers or MS4's/interns. One noticeable error; the abdominal exam picture is mislabeled... unless the heart and spleen are now on the right side of the body. A few spelling errors, otherwise good info. Would like to see some musculoskeletal exams as well.

Too basic for price. I can find all of this info free. I thought there'd be more to the app. No details, no explanations. Really? I've wasted my money! :( this app needs a trial/demo so we don't get suckered into buying something we won't benefit from. USE CAUTION before DL'ing this one. Make sure it's all you need because in my opinion, this is more like a simple preface. Incomplete structure.

Nice app but ennoying commercial at 1st page.. The app has great links for anatomy and physiology. You must know to click off the ad page at the opening of the program. The ad page at the opening of this nice program is bad and ennoying distraction that does not help the program at all because it makes a bad 1st impression Overall: this App with good graphics and great links is informative of Medicine.

not a fraud. I have no idea what these other reviewers are talking about as I know for a fact that this Is NOT a phishing scam. The product is definitely real as I have been using it for the last year!!. Apple would not let it past their rigorous review process if it was fake... Yes, there is an ads page that appears occasionally but you can close it by tapping on the X at the top right corner of the screen. I'm writing this review because ive contacted the developers about their other apps before and they have always been quick to respond and very very helpful. It really bothers me to see other users ignorantly bashing a quality company that actually cares about their customers just because of their own paranoid beliefs and inability to follow instructions.

an essential medical app. As a third year, this has become one of my essential apps that is on the homepage of my iphone. Along with epocrates, eyechart, and imurmur, I use this multiple times a week. It's comprehensive and simple to navigate! A must buy!

Fraud phishing scam. This app is a phishing scam. when you open it, it has links to several known phishing scams and when you actually click on the physical exam link it just takes you back to the App Store to the description. there is no product and frankly I'm surprised that Apple does not check into what it is selling in the iTunes store. In looking up the reviews it says that they rate their own stuff so that their ratings are very high but it's not from actual users. And when you google search most of the reviews are positive but it's just copies and pasted from their website. look up the Iowa State daily which is a newspaper where it talks about college students who have been defrauded If I could rate a zero I would.

My Physical Examination App. I recommend this app to all medstudents and med practitioners. Its not the perfect and most complete P.E app but its the best P.E. app for its value. An app away for brushing up your PE skills. If its not too much to ask I would love for it to have a MSK exam. Thanks to the developers for making this app.

Delivers what was promised. I really don't understand the low star reviews for this app. I think it delivers exactly what the developers promised. Previous reviewers complain of the disclaimer showing up each time the app opens, which is true, but it really is not a big deal at all to hit "agree" to close it - this is truly a non-issue. Others say that the app is not what they expected it to be, however, this application is exactly what the developers advertised it as. It is NOT a comprehensive guide but instead is a good way to remind yourself of what to look for and do during exams. It will NOT explain step by step how to perform all aspects of the exam. It has a limited amount of clinical applications, tips on presentation of findings, and special tests not normally performed on standard exams, but these are really ancillary to the main purpose of the application. A Bates textbook or pocketbook are more comprehensive, however, pocketbooks run around $30 and a textbook probably well over $100. For $2.99 this is a pretty good deal. All of that being said, this is not a 5 star app for 1 reason - there is no musculoskeletal section. Once that is put in I will gladly give it 5 stars.

Ultimate quick and dirty. Great for medical students or anyone who might need to brush up a comprehensive physical exam. Complete with pictures of normals and detailed instructions, you will never go into an OSCE or examine a patient without knowing what to do. Great app!

Incorrect Andominal quadrants labelling. I just bought this app 5 minutes ago because I was looking for a quick review of physical exam. I first looked at the abdominal exam and right away I noticed that the picture with the 4 abdominal quadrants are labelled incorrectly. Very disappointed! I don't know if I want to continue using it, there might be other information that's incorrect!!!! Waste of money! It would be a great app if the makers would pay attention to basics like the correct labeling of the abdominal quadrants! Who knows what other incorrect information I will find if I do decide to go through it. Want my money back!

Pedantic. The app has the disclaimer popping up constantly (very annoying). The material is very basic and presented in a boring manner. This is nothing but a bad textbook section concerted to an app. Apps shoud be more than what isn't read but is available in the library. The layout of things is poor. I just don't like it when someone takes their bad 1st year med school notes, scans, and creates an app. Upgrade this app please.

Useful. I am a nursing student. I get annoying reviewing a textbook for assessments, but I'm finding this little app fun & interesting. I enjoy the rationales behind the actions.

Avoid. Not worth the $$. This app is terrible, missing MSK altogether and many important tests for each body system. Also, each of the sections looks like a poorly formatted Word document. Ugh. What a waste. I should have listened to the other reviews.

HATE IT. This is far worst app ever, very insuficient for studying, revising or just to recall. STAY AWAY. I would like a refund! I have many handouts are better than that, I knew I shouldn't have wasted my money on this!

Accurate app. I like this application - it's accurate when compare with Byte's textbook, but you missed musculoskeletal system assessment. Would you please add this part with specific tests for knee and hands diagnostic?

Quick reference. Great if you ever need a quick review of a basic exam. Has the basic exams for pretty much all systems except for musculoskeletal. Each one is not very long making it a quick read, but has just enough info for a high yield review. Definitely not comprehensive, but who's going to read a comprehensive guide on their iPhone? That's what textbooks are for! This app is strictly for on-the-go reading. Great 5 star app!

Good app for reminder. Not the best, but cheap and decent. It is more of a summary and a guide rather than a teaching material from beginning to finish. While you cant learn all the things you need from this app, it is a great reminder for when you are revising after having studied everything required. A good app to have for a cheap price. I would recommend it. You can of course just carry your heavy textbooks with you.

Nice app but improvement badly needed. Needs a real update in the worst way and that disclaimer has to go, it's the most annoying thing ever. I've been waiting for nearly a year now for an update since I wrote the review below and am greatly disappointed. Original review: This is a handy little app for a quick overview of the systems listed, but the interface is in need of a major upgrade. The interface is very basic and reminds me of a word document with everything thrown in. The systems are broken up nicely, but having different tabs for each of inspection, palpation, percussion and auscultation would be nice to see. It would also be really nice if MSK were included and if you didn't have to agree to the annoying disclaimer every time you used the app. It's a good start and hopefully it continues to grow and improve because it has real potential to be a fantastic app.

Fab reference. This is an excellent app. All the components of a good and thorough exam are here. It’s a great way to get organized, and to reference special tests that aren’t used everyday. Excellent bang for the buck. The previous 1 star review is bogus.

As written below, I feel there is considerable room for improvement in this program, considering it is a PAID app. First, the annoying disclaimer everytime you load the application is not necessary, first time load is fine. Second, needs better organization and ease of reading. There is a lot of flipping through. Third, CLEAR headings and subheadings should be implemented. Thanks!

Great App!!. This app is great. It concisely presents the exam information, steps and rationalle on each body system of the patient. It has helpful pictures (that you can view full screen) and is very user friendly. Well worth the $2.99!

Rudimentary, ripoff, return requested. No wonder this app developer didn't provide much in the way of insight before purchase. I want a refund - it is the principle! I was PA, a NP, and now a MD who is also an educator in a medical school residency and fellowship. This app doesn't fit any basic need at any level. Unfortunately someone unsuspecting will be making a purchase for what has been expressed by others - it is worthless.

Muculoskeletal section. Not a complete physical exam app without msk section. It is one of my weakest and least studied aspect of physical exam and hence why I need an app for reference.
