It’s not working on an iPhone 11. It doesn’t work at all. I payed over a 100 bucks to get songs... first the songs “expired” and for 2 years now the app doesn’t work at all.

My Arcade Favourite!. I love Jubeat Qubell, Prop, etc and I love how I can play on my phone! I wish we could play the songs we play on Qubell and stuff.. on here!

Nostalgic game. Love this game while back in high school when I'd always visit Japan and the arcades there. This particular game popped up to me. It's dying down because of the 8 circle beat rhythm game but, I'd always prefer this over that ahah

Love the game but it needs more update. I get glitches alot with my iPhone X where I select a new look for the button that you need to press at the perfect time crashes when I select a new one.

Out of service for US version. Cannot download the music that I have bought because it’s under maintenance for year

No paid content. I cannot access my paid content, apparently this has been happening for years. Needs to be fixed or refund for all purchases.

Paid content missing.... The game itself is fine, but this implementation is unpleasant. Just downloaded on a new iPad, but the pop music packs I bought on my previous iPad are no longer in the shop to restore, specifically Lady Gaga, Earth, Wind, and Fire, and B-52s. I’ve paid for this content, and it seems to be gone forever now...

Can’t download purchased packs. Played this game a whole lot when it first came out and just recently remembered it. Downloaded again and tried to purchase a pack but I can’t download it or restore purchases. I see others have this issue too. Please don’t steal my money and not give me anything of what I payed for

Great game, but store needs more frequent updates.. It's plays just like a smaller version of the arcade. However, while song packs are a bit expensive, manly I wish they would update the store catalog more frequently. Hasn't been an update in ages. Update: Bought a new iPad, and many song packs I’ve purchased cannot be restored. Very disappointing.

It's a Bemani game so it must be good.. Eamuse support for Jubeat in America plz?

DLC. PLEASE PLEASE FIX THE STORE AT THE VERY LEAST. I want to be able to redownload my dlc on my other devices. Maybe even purchase other packs too :(

ABANDONED-Download Jubeat via Japan App Store. Still my favorite music rhythm game on iPhone- sad that they abandoned it -shame on Konami Luckily kept my downloads on my old iPhone 7 The Japanese version is playable in 2021 - and the UI is Very different - but playable for sure - give it a go and make that Japanese account

This app has been abandoned for long time. Look for something else. KONAMI doesn’t care about US version of Jubeat anymore. So sad to see my favorite app is dying like this

Can’t restore. Finally got a new iPad so I can play this again, but you can’t restore old purchases. What a waste of money.

Can’t restore purchases or buy new songs. I have well over 150$ into this game and with a new device I can no longer restore purchases or even buy new song packs. Contacting support resulted in being told they don’t know what game I am referring to and to submit a request via the in game inquiry button, which doesn’t exist. I love jubeat and it saddens me to say Konami clearly doesn’t care about overseas customers.

song downloads no longer work. After upgrading my phone, the app still opens, but due to errors that seem to have persisted for a long time (based on a review from last year), previously purchased songs cannot he redownloadsd and new songs cannot he obtained. So at this point, all that’s available is the demo.

Playable again, but boring compared to the japanese version.. They seemed to fix the glitches, but it’s very much lacking in content now. Konami, if you’re reading this, please just give us the update to the japanese version. Updating fhis app shows you care about the jubeat fans.

Doesn’t work iPhone XR iOS 12.1.2. Loved the original arcade game and was super jazzed to find the mobile version, but there’s no way to calibrate the touch in the grid screen and everything is really off, so it’s literally unplayable for me. My boyfriend managed to play on his iPhone 8+ without issue though

Please fix App Store. It’s been years since the game got any support. I had thought it had all closed down but I still see it being advertised on here. I had gotten my new iPads in the past but am unable to restore my purchases from before and it’s very upsetting to see all the money I had used on it go to waste :(

No audio. App opens and the game works but there is no audio.

Abandoned, paid purchases gone.. Good game for years. It’s a shame they don’t let you restore in-app purchases anymore. I know many who have money put int song pack purchases but can’t use them after getting a new device. The application should be removed from the apple app store if the publisher is done with it.

Paid content store has been down for months. Dear Konami, This game is otherwise a lotta fun, and I was going to purchase some more music packs but the purchase store and even the redownload purchased items ability are gone. Konami, please make purchased music packs available again and make the music pack store available again so players can download more music! Other than this major issue, the game runs like a charm on both iPad and iPhone. I strongly recommend players to play on an ipad (primarily due to a larger screen). It has more of an arcade type feel with the larger screen. Sincerely with respect, A longtime Konami and Beatmania fan

My favorite rhythm game next to reflex beat!. I’ve been playing this game since 2017 and just recently played the arcade version I LOVE IT!! Even upgrading my iPad and restoring my purchases was easy. 5 starts 10/10 rating 100% HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I get the fact that your paying about3-4 dollars for 4 songs. The game is free. You have to actually buy the arcade version. And it is a Japanese exclusive. Plus it costs more to pay for an actual arcade cabinet version than just buying all the song packs! You might be wasting $300 on song packs but if you factor in the cost of an actual arcade version of the game it’s WELL worth it!

Can't download previous purchases. Sad. I bought this on my iPad awhile back and recently got a new iPhone. It refuses to let me redownload my previously purchased song packs.

Marker Bug, but Great Game!. I've been playing this game off and on for years. I would give this game an easy 5 stars; however, since I downloaded this most recent update on my iPad 2, I am not able to open the marker tab on the menu. Restarting the app and device doesn't fix it. I would like to switch between markers like the stealth marker, but I simply can't anymore. Other than that, I would love to see Jukebeat eventually contain the features in Jubeat Plus like Challenge Mode and Hold Marker charts. I love this game. I have gotten over 50 EXC's, but this marker tab bug is super annoying. I know updates have halted, but please fix this.

Sad. I used to love this game on my iPhone3 7years ago，but now the game screen size didn't match up with my phone screen size, so when ever I press the button, it would think I pressed somewhere else😢

You get 3 songs. Yeah I see why this is so low rated. You get 3 songs and the shop doesn’t work. You’d think Komoney 🤑🤑 would jump at the chance to provide paid content but this is a first for me.

Doesn’t fit the screen. This app is not properly formatted for my iPhone XR. Where I tap and where the game registers my taps are in two totally different spots, making it impossible to play. Seeing as Konami seems to have no intention of updating this app anytime soon, I think it should be removed from the App Store.

litterally unplayable. i enjoyed the game 3 years ago but on the new devices the touch areas are way off the squares so you cannot play the game unless you train yourself to know where to touch the screen. the boxes are 2+inches away from where you need to tap

Needs an update!. The game is great (I play it at an arcade sometimes and was happy to see an iPad version) but there are only three songs available upon download and the store for DLC won’t work. It’s apparently been like this for a long time according to other reviews. Please fix it! I’ll throw money at you if you make more song packs available!

Used to love the arcade game. I’ve played the arcade game and this is just like it and it is fun, but it is extremely overpriced. It’s about a dollar a song, which is kind of ridiculous and there’s no way to earn more songs by getting high scores or anything. It’s sad that they tried to milk the free to play system so badly because it was a fun game.

Hitting 4 touches at the same time cause the pause menu to pop up. Like the title says, every time i play songs like sola or others that involve hitting 4 touch buttons in a row at the same time, it causes the pause menu screen to pop up. Besides that, I like the game very much. Please fix! Thanks!

Doesn’t work on my iPhone XR 12.4. The touch screen can’t be recalibrated so I literally can’t play the game, it either read the inputs wrong or just doesn’t at all when I play the game.

It's a bit difficult to play as you have to tap the buttons quickly as the music plays, but still good! The real reason I bought this game was to ask you, please release the Japan-only Bomberman app you've made to western audiences like the United States and Europe. I saw it on the Japan AppStore and i love how it has so many characters and modes and love the vibrant and cool artwork. The game I’m talking about is Taisen Bomberman. THERE ARE NO OFFICIAL BOMBERMAN GAMES ON THE APPSTORE. Please make Taisen Bomberman available for U.S. players like me!

Awesome. Speechless.. The game is very addictive while also being very rewarding. The game is fun and enhances the player's reflexes. Only down side to the game is the price for music tracks.

Almost perfect. Downfall is 4.49 for 4 songs. Another downfall is that sometimes game freezes. Otherwise highly enjoyable.

Abandoned game. Store has been “under maintenance” for probably over a year. If you’re redownloading, or a new download, you are stuck with the 3 demo songs. Any purchased packs are unavailable until Store is back. Shame, one of my favourite Rhythm games too.

Good game but can be improved. how about implementing a feature that allows the user to import the songs present on the iPhone or iPad into the game, which would make this game more fun. Also offer a free track once a week to attract more people.

Only here for missed konami songs. I normally play the Japanese version of this, I was playing this because the konami packs are slightly different, here are the ones Japanese version missed: Sweet rain from konami pack 11 Snow goose from konami pack 12 Happy, vanity and birthday from konami pack 32 Idk why the Japanese version don't have these ones, some of them are quite famous

Absolutely amazing. I really love this game, and have been playing for over year now. It is one of the best rhythm games I've played, and my only problem with it (and the reason it's 4 stars and not 5) is how much the song packs cost. The songs themselves aren't the full version - understandable - but $5 for a 4 song pack adds up pretty quick. Perhaps lowering the price or having sales now and then would encourage more people to play.

Good game. Overall,this is a good music game that I play in iPad mini, but there is too few song for this game. Why don't add some more songs like Miku or some other popular songs into this game or just copy the song that from other countries version.

Better than most. What you would expect from Bemani and their rhythm games, good and enjoyable if you love tapping to music and good old crazy fast modes. The negative stuff is the price of music which does put you off and no individual choice in buying them separately. As previously mentioned by another reviewer a free track would be nice. Overall it is a free app definitely worth downloading.

Pokémon Master. It's awesome. A lot of fun. Songs are way too expensive however. Maybe a couple more default songs?

A reason why Bemani has failed here.. $4.49 for four songs, with at least 50 song packs to buy? I want to play jubeat but don't have deep enough pockets to enjoy this far inferior experience to an arcade cabinet. If only Konami were actually smart with American Bemani releases...

eh..... figured I'd try this game as I love rhythm games. but this game obviously has not even been tended to for years. it's painfully obvious with the UI interface. looks so old. their store isn't even online anymore. don't understand why this game is even still downloadable in 2022. if it's not going to be maintained. might as well take it off the app store.

Meh…. I’m a rhythm game player. Seeing this game on the App Store made me download it because I thought it would be like a mini version of jukebeat. I was wrong. There’s only 3 free songs and the song store is down almost all of the time. The game crashes so much it gets very irritating. Don’t waste your time playing this and play another verison.

Best music game with no real flaws. The title says it all, best music game with no real flaws. What i mean by this is that there is ton of song that should be become available in the future , songs only needs to be purchased once, and song are actually good. The only problem I can think of is that I maybe hard for new player? Maybe?

I would give three and a half.. I enjoy Jukebeat a bit roo much than I think I should. There needs to be more songs to be boughr. The selection is quite lacking as of yet, and I really find it lame that you can't buy songs one by one :( I really hate buying songs pack for 4$ when I only want one song. Still waiting for Jukebeat arcade machines in Eastern Canada.

I played the original japanese version called jubeats, I really hope they bring as much as they can from there through their konami mixes, I am really looking forward to it if they do, I am glad that the American version is also pretty descent already with a few good pop choices to play from

Needs more =|. The game is very much playable and nice. The responce time is excelent and the judgement is spot on. It really reminds me of the days I spent playing jubeat in the arcades in Japan. However, not all the songs in jubeat are purchasable which made me extremely sad and agitated at times. For example, my favorite song in all of jubeat, 夏祭り, was not purchasable... Quite a number of songs from jubeat ripples were not purchasable... I wish that one day these songs will also come in a song pack!

Doesn’t work on Xr. Tapping pads are extremely off and cannot be fixed by setting the tapping range

So hard. This game is the best rhythm game I've ever played. The difficulty requires spider hands and the song packs are a lil overpriced, but it's still great and get it while its FREE

Requesting more song packs. The song directory isn't as extensive as the japanese arcade version and that is unfortunate because I would like to play this game when I'm not in Japan. Please include all the great ones I played in the japanese arcades and I'll gladly purchase them! (Also, I would suggest a "reload purchases" button in case you lose your save data at least you can re-download your song packs.)

Needs more songs!. Jubeat is awesome. We have a machine here in Vancouver, BUT the complete lack of multiplayer and Konami card unlock leaves us with very limited selection of songs. It is INSANELY GREAT to see Konami finally bringing this game to North American market -- although under a different name... Whatever happened to Ubeat? I bought the Japanese version and have easily dropped $150 (them card sellers are making a killing!) on songs. I can't wait for more songs to appear here so I don't need to jump hurdles. Hope to see the songs from test launch to appear on here soon, or have actual launch for us North Americans! PS: Konami, if you get the Japanese songs licensing sorted out for us stuck in North America, you won't believe how fast I'll say "shut up and take my money!"

Jubeat and Jukebeat. I love this game! I can purchase a few songs from Jubeat as well! I'm so happy about that! But I would like more songs from Jubeat to be available on Jukebeat.

Addiction and friends agree!. First and far most for those who are complaining that the song packs are too expensive, just keep in mind that downloadable content on the Dj hero games for the consoles were $7.99 for 3 songs, and the Japanese version of jukebeat is $4.99 for 4 songs, (imagine buying a japanese iTunes card, how expensive that is.) and that version has well over 100 songs! The game is great, I'm really happy to have a local version of this game! I understand the game is new here and there isn't many song packs so I'm not going to complain at the lack of songs, hopefully we will get to play song great. American licensed songs that were on the N.A licensed arcade jubeat! I also really hope you keep the diversity of the music selection like jubeat plus, that's what made the game awesome For the past few weeks I have gone to anime gatherings and "publicized" the game and for the first time I've had a lot of friends and people I don't know give great feedback of jukebeat, I had comments like "it's hard, but fun!" a few of them who had the their idevices downloaded jukebeat on the spot. So that is a great sign of a great game! The reason why I gave 4 out of 5 stars is because of the lack of songs, compared to jubeat plus which has 151+ songs, which I know this app just came out here, but there are a lot of great "konami packs" that can be ported on this version from the Japanese jubeat plus! What are you guys waiting for? Also for those new to the game and think the markers are too fast... Try using different markers! (just a little guide for better gameplay, my treat XD!) I really hope this game becomes successful like it's big brother jubeat plus! And we get to see over 100 songs with great American licenses! (if you Can find away to have cheaper prices for those who cant afford, that be great, but getting license for certain songs is expensive, that's why I don't mind paying $4.99. If that means having awesome artistes like "Martin solveig" or "David guetta" in future song packs (HINT HINT KONAMI!! ;))

Great!. I love this game

Greedy. Taito will give you over a dozen songs for a dollar. Konami gives a free game with a half tutorial worth... then $4 for 4 songs? Really? I can't do anything else with these, but they're as expensive as iTunes store tracks and most of it is just in-house game music! It's sorta fun I guess, but even as a 14-year fan of beatmania, I'm not about to go that far just for a few forgettable tracks.

Awesome!!. I love this game! I actually first got introduced to it by a friend who let me play it on his ipad, and the game actually influenced my decision to get one myself. It's not the only reason, but it definitely sweetened the deal. I was also already a really big fan of rhythm games, and it's exciting to get a localized version of one that I can play at home! The game itself can be pretty difficult, but after a bit of practice it gets a lot more fun. There are plenty of songs withh easier difficulties that you can use to warm up and improve your skills. It's also nice to see konami song packs with songs from other well known games (there are at least one or two DDR songs that I recognize). The music is addicting! In short, this is a really fun game (though maybe a bit frustrating at first). I play it almost every day!

One of the best rhythm games out there!!!. I would visit East Asian arcades all the time and wonder what some of those guys are playing. Guys would be tapping away at these keys as if they were performing some kind of virtuoso. Thus I found myself playing a wonderful game called jukebeat! Because I live in the US, the only way I can play it now is by downloading it on the iPad. And now I play it everywhere I go! People find me during school and ask what I'm playing and I answer their questions by letting them play. Some got addicted to it and downloaded the game themselves, and some others would rather watch me beat my high scores. Great job Konami! Please keep up the great work and bring more music packs and great rythm games for us to play!

Fun and addictive. This is a traditional Bemaini (Konami) music game with the typical level curve. The music downloads are priced similar to any other ps3/360 game music pack so no complaints there. The demo songs are OK. They don't have the widest appeal, but if you give the game a shot the DLC makes this game shine. I would recommend the game and giving a 3.99 DLC a chance to let this game shine. The addition of the Japanese music packs are a wonderful addition to fans of the Japanese version of the game.

Really fun. The game is pretty innovative in some aspects. I didn't expect that the game would pack so much with just 16 tiles. However, the game seems to lack the flexibility of other competing games. Probably the best part about the game is that you select what you want, but also expand your horizon. I'm hopeful that the game still remains as fun as the first time that I played it.

An excellent game brought to the US. I appreciate Konami bringing this game to the US. Jubeat Plus is a wonderfully designed game for Japan, so it's nice to see an equivalent in the US App Store. As others have mentioned, US song packs are still lacking, but there's at least a number of good Konami packs, and some unique US licenses. The price of extra packs is also relatively reasonable. Thanks again for the excellent game--a great reason to have an iPad.

This is indeed, a very high quality app. Created by Konami, one of the best Japanese game developers, you will not be disappointed by the quality and effort put into this brilliant iOS title. The music really gets you pumped and excited as you play through the game. The variety of soundtrack options are quite upbeat and delivers a stunning and truly EPIC experience in one package. I wish there were more music packs. Hopefully Konami will make additional music packs available. I really want "Theory of Eternity" and " Far East Nightbird" to be released ASAP on future music packs. Konami please make these songs available for us. Those are two of my favorites. Highly suggest everyone should pick this up and download it. I was unsure about getting this, but the simple and fun gameplay along with the incredible music, makes me finally understand that no wonder why this is so popular in Asian arcades. So happy that the developer decided to bring it over to the USA. It's THAT GOOD. This is a game that everyone will enjoy. PERIOD. Some people actually bought an iPad just for this game!

Oh right!. I went back to Japan this summer, and i saw jukebeat on arcade, not knowing what it is, I didn't play it... I realized that Jukebeat is one of excellent rythm game on arcade, after i got back to US. As I was working on my yard, I thought, maybe I should ask Konami to make it on iPhone since it seems to go work well together. Well, Here it is. They had brilliant idea before I ask them. Jukebeat, to go. All the music is great, at least in my opinion, better than DDR songs. Also, the crucial point of rythm game, beat was on perfect timing too. Visual is stunning. No lags on 4G. Perfect control. Why not try one, since it is free? Now, jukebeat is another hard rythm game to get use to, since it is not like guitar hero or ddr seeing rythm coming down. You more likely have to memorize them. But, if you get use to it, you won't stop playing it for a while.

Best mobile rhythm game!. While first playing Jukebeat it was very very confusing... But after so long I learned how to play and started to get decent and next thing you know I got addicted 👌!! I kinda wish for more tiles or squares (not sure what they are called) and the songs are AMAZING! My favorite is Space Carnival x3!! Thank you for this amazing game ^_^!!!!

Fantastic, but...... This game is fantastic and it works very well. There is only one thing they should change, which is disabling the multitouch gestures during gameplay. I don't like having to turn off the gestures every time I want to play, but if I don't, the game constantly pauses when I use four fingers to touch the buttons.

Amazing rhythm game!. After playing jubeat (the Japanese arcade cabinet this app is based on) at an anime convention I was hooked, and almost immediately found this app. It's an incredibly faithful recreation of the arcade game with a huge playlist if you are willing to pay for the songs you like. The game is pretty customizable and responsive. There are some small problems though, the game can be hard to play on smaller iPhones (it's great on iPad) and the song packs don't include nearly any of the licensed packs from the Japanese version, so no anime songs, no Japanese artists, just popular Konami rhythm game songs (which isn't all bad, the songs are very good and varied) TL;DR Amazing rhythm game, just don't expect to know many of the songs.

LOVE. I LOVE rhythm games and this is awesome!! I've played the arcade version before and I loved it! Now sth really serious.. is there anyway I could transfer purchased songs form one device to another???? I purchased 3 song packs in my iphone and now I want to transfer them onto my ipad but I have no idea how to do that or is it just impossible?? PLZ HELP!!

Frantic and entertaining, but short of depth and features. Good: -Excellent songlist with the same top-level musical talent we've come to expect from Konami after almost fifteen years. -Intuitive, rewarding gameplay. Bad: -No unlockable features. -Four bucks a songpack is steep compared to what you get from a CS Bemani title. -It's like playing DDR on 2.5x Sudden Flat. Way too fast. I'd like the notes to start coming at you sooner and be colored according to their timing, like in DDR. -Needs Training Mode where you can slow down the music and practice otherwise indecipherable measures. It took a long time for other Bemani titles to have options available that make the gameplay experience more enjoyable. I hope jubeat makes that sort of progress much more quickly. Jubeat is entertaining yet mildly frustrating at the same time, but you don't have time to decide because it all moves way too fast.

US finally gets a taste of jubeat (ARCADE). This game is made by Konami, and is the hottest music game to ever hit iOS! You can now experience the arcade at home on your iPad! The game runs very similar to the arcade machines, only no time limits, inserting coins, network issues, etc. Mind you, we're lucky that Konami even ported the game from arcade to home! Get this game and you will not be disappointed, especially if you like a challenge!! :D

Finally. It's been a long time coming, but huge thanks to Konami for finally releasing Jubeat/Jukebeat over here. Without a doubt one of the best music games available on iOS and one of the best games period. Do yourself a favor and at least download the free game, and support Konami by buying the songpacks if you enjoy the game.

Finally!. I've been playing and purchasing song packs for the Japanese version of this title since it's release. For those who are unfamiliar, jukebeat is the English iOS version of Konami's wildly popular japanese music game "Jubeat". The gameplay is easy enough to grasp, a grid of 16x16 squares show markers in time with the music. Tap on the square with accurate timing and you score higher, get a high combo and you receive bonus points. A song is cleared at 70,000 points or higher. It's honestly one of the most fun rhythm games out there anymore, and I can't even describe how ecstatic I am that you can finally get it in the US AppStore, with exclusive songs to boot! I definitely recommend this title to anyone who is a fan of music gaming, and with any luck as time goes on we'll see tons of great songs added to the in game song store!

Great Game. Fun songs!. I've been playing the Japanese version of the game on my ipad, but i'm super excited to see this app appearing in the US iTunes store now! The 2 Konami original packs are really really great, and i was surprised at how good the exclusive jukebeat packs were. Really loved the Strung Out pack. Can't wait to see more konami original packs, and maybe more exclusives! This is really the best music game you can get on your iPad and iPhone/Touch. This game IS the reason I have an iPad. The learning curve is a little steep, and also beware you only get 3 songs unless you pay for song packs, but the song packs are reasonably priced ($4 for 4 songs) and the quality of the game is great overall. Still super exited to seethis in US iTunes store!

Update is needed. I don't have any complain regarding the game. I love it. But I restore my iPad and now I cannot restore my purchases because it's giving me an error message when I try to open the store in the app. I also have the Japanese version(jubeat) and I haven't encounter any error in that one. Please release the update or allow access to the store with the current version.

Great. It's a great game but I heard jubeat plus has more songs. Please bring more Japanese songs over and also if possible, make them cheaper. Thanks! Update: Can you guys implement the touch option between two buttons to the iPad version, too? I constantly keep sliding my fingers and it pauses the game or opens up Facebook for me. Also, can new songs be available in store at a faster pace? I need more music and the ones I haven't bought aren't great to me.

Good rendition of the arcade hit in Japan. I really liked the game in arcades in Japan and then I found it on iOS and I found the need to buy it since it was so fun. For its popular fan base there should be more content and new styles to come out as well as when it gets released in Japan. There should also be more songs from different platforms in the store, it will definitely get my vote indeed! There should also be competition type battles over 3G and wifi like what they do in the arcades. Also should implement FaceTime-type mechanism into the game to know who is playing who in person or just add any random picture as one would like to do. I would like everything stated to implemented in to the game and I will bet the fan base will grow as well as my vote. All in all, this game is the perfect adaptation of the arcade hits but please, please update it and you will definitely get a 5 star rating all the way! ありがとございます！

Developers please read full review. This app is freaking additive. I found my new drug. I hope it stays free and hopefully more songs are added. Great app. I ussually hate song based apps but I saw a video on this and was like " I MUST HAVE IT" NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: please find a way to disable the iPad swipe affect when playing the more advanced ones the multi tough causes the swipe affect and befor u know it u just swiped to another app. Other then that this app is great

Reinstalling old packs. Poor documentation.. My iPod was stolen about a year ago. Since then I've purchased an iPad. I was pleasantly surprised to find that you are not charged for packs which you have previously purchased. I attempted to re-buy a pack, and was notified that I had already purchased the pack and could redownload it for free. This was a huge relief, as the packs are relatively expensive! Documentation, as others have noted, is quite poor. The new update adds some nice features, but I'd really like to see some new themes at some point. Gameplay is classic jubeat as always.

Great songs, a little difficult. For years I've been watching Japanese companies release cool music games but buy the time they get localized for the USA all the cool Japanese tracks are removed. Not this time. I wish I could purchase individual tracks instead of packs, but the is plenty of fun content. They have added some western tracks but some of which I really like. Rise Against is a lot of fun. All they need to do is add a few anime opening songs and I'll have a hard time putting this down.

Jubeat is here!. I've always been a big fan of music rhythm games whether it be DDR, beatmaniaIIDX, pop'n music, ReRave, etc. I've never really experiences jubeat before except once when I played it on a friend's jailbroken iPod Touch with the Japanese version of the app. I enjoyed playing even on such a small area. Recently, I bought an iPad and just today I found out that jubeat had been released in the North American iOS market, and I quickly got the app. I think Konami has done a great job with a sleek interface, varied song choice, and sharp images. Jubeat is really one of those unique music rhythm games that even people unfamiliar to this genre can still enjoy it. I hope Konami keeps it up and continues to release more song packs and to being more features in the future.

Jukebeat , WELCOME TO AMERICA :D. I've been longing for the day when a fun rhythm game comes out for the iPad. The initial song selection, although limited, is chock full of konami original tunes from Frogger, Contra and even comes with an alternate theme!! The songs available in the DLC store are nothing short of amazing and will provide a further challenge to confident players and those who are familiar to the featured Bemani Tunes. The Licsence packs are really great too and the songs are charted well and really follow the rhythm. This is definitely going to be one of the more popular iPad games to come out this season and should be tried by everyone. Do yourself a favor and play this game.

awesome. one of the best rhythm games out there. one cool feature is that you can link to your friends via bluetooth and "LAN party" with your ipads. it's a lot more fun competing against your friends. i'm hoping for songs from the Saucer version in the next update. :) update 2/2/14: loving the fact that this app is still updating with new song packs every now and then <3

All my music is gone!. Amazing Game, I absolutely loved it. Spent countless hours playing it and invested a bit of coin (about 60 to 80 bucks) to get more song packs. But that all went down the drain when I bought a new iPad 2 and tried to transfer the content. Lost all the song packs I bought and the only support I could find for the app was in Japanese. So yeah FAIL KONAMI! This app can go crawl under a bush some ware and die because I'm not about go and buy everything all over again.

Amazing game that made me want to write a review. I never write reviews for games but this one is amazing and deserves more love and support. If you are any sort of rhythm game fan, or if you have even ever PLAYED a rhythm game before, you should give this a shot! Definitely the best one for iOS I have found so far. Looking forward to more song packs!!!!!

My current favorite music game. This is simply the best arcade-style music game I've played in a long time. It's simple enough that I can put it in front of somebody with no explanation or tutorial whatsoever, but the difficulty gets way crazy at the higher levels. The free tracks are sort of lacking, but the paid song packs include lots of gems. I also like the theme customization options.

Very much like Jubeat!. I bought this game after falling in love with Jubeat (arcade game). It's very much like Jubeat, which is great. I would definitely recommend this game. My one complaint is the pause button feature. When I'm playing a fast song, there's somewhere on the screen near the play area that I'm accidentally pressing and it will pause in the middle of the song. It's really frustrating when that happens, which is why I rated the game 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that, it's a great game!

Needs more Kukeiha Club. This game plays great and is pretty fun. It has some great classic Konami video game tracks. However, you have to buy songs in packs, and usually, they'll be bundled with something you aren't yet interested in. It would be much better in the US for single song downloads, since the arcade game is rather non-existant here, we aren't as familiar with the Konami original music made for Jubeat. I'd like more Konami classic game tracks like Contra and Castlevania. Please do some from Snatcher and Policenauts!!! Maybe some Japanese licensed tracks too!

Great addition to the Bemani line. This is kind of like Whack-a-Mole turned into a music game. Hit the panels at just the right time to score the most points. It's rather tough to sight-read at first, but stick with it, and it gets easier. Song packs were just barely trickling out initially, but it looks like Konami is starting to pick up the pace. If you're into the Bemani series, definitely give this one a try.

Glad it's finally available in the U.S.. The sample songs are pretty good. The download packs are worth getting, though Strung Out and Strike Anywhere sound a bit too similar. Hopefully Konami can bring out the same packs that they have in Japan. Or at least get the songs they licensed for the U.S. location tests.

Excellent. Even though they gave the American version a silly name Jukebeat is definitely a great and addicting music game. Being a rhythm game lover I put this in my top 3 next to pop'n music and dj hero. Sure you have to purchase additional songs but each one adds to the fun experience of this game. Just stick with the bemani packs and you'll be great.

Addicting game!. I have to say this game is really addicting(lol You have no idea how fun is it after you find your favorite song and play with it! It's a little challenging when you start playing it. But after playing a while, you will find out that have to beat that song and you don't want to just give up! Anyway, I highly recommend to those who love to play music beating game. I'm sure you will have a lot of fun with it!

Fun but could use more songs. I love this game so much! It's fun and I always enjoy playing each song. The only thing is that I wish Konami would bring over more Japanese songs. One song I would love seeing on here would be "Doll" if possible and I know there are a ton more songs that could be put into this game! I look forward to what else will be updated!

This Game is Off The Hook!. Thank you Konami, for releasing it in the US. But please also bring it out for Europe and the rest of the world. And what's most important, is the music. I would like to have all songs from the japanese version, since they are much better. And btw. Konami, what's up with DDR and Pop n Music for iPad and a very good frame rate?

Best iPad download. I don't really expect much from these games... But was blown away by the great idea here... Dance Revolution for your fingers!!!! The execution is great, the graphics, the animation, the colors, the music... and it is not so easy it gets boring when you start and gets VERY challenging in the upper levels! I WILL be spending my money in upcoming packs.

More Music Please <3. I lived in Japan for a little while, and I played this game quite a bit~ when I got home and found the app I was quite happy. The only thing about it I don't like is the music selection. I don't mind paying for the music, I would just like more of the music on the game in Japan released for this app. Besides that this app is everything I thought it would be :D

Simply awesome. I actually decided to buy iPad for this game. It might sound silly but it is that fun to play it on bigger screen. I enjoyed the arcade ones in Japan as well when I went home, but I like iPad one better ! Looking forward to see more song on English version since the song on jukebeat is cheaper than jubeat(Japanese version)

Konami surprises everyone with the first "official" western Bemani home release in ages. AND manages to get it right! Already with two official Jubeat song packs available, both of which with awesome tracks, I couldn't ask for much better. As long as they continue periodically releasing the official song packs at reasonable prices, this will easily become my new favorite iOS rhythm game. Keep it up, Konmai! 定期的な新曲は成功です！

Swwweeeeeet dude. Jukebeat is like a mix of IIDX and whack-a-mole. The song packs are a little expensive compared to other music games and as good as most of the music may be, there is still more cheesy jpop than most Americans can stomach. Broaden the genre boundaries and leave Cindy Lauder where she belongs, no where near my iPad. To those of you who think this game is to hard, go play keyboard mania or IIDX and THEN try complaining. :)

Love it... But. One of my fave apps! If you played beatmania or dj technika you'll love this game! The only downside is the very limited song list. I don't mind paying the money for the songs but can you make it so people can buy single songs? I don't like all the songs in the music packs and maybe just one or two and it really stops me from wanting to buy new music.

Addicting!!!. I love this game! It's super fun and my hand/eye coordination is way better now. If you don't have it than your missing out. And it's even more fun when you challenge yourself and try it on advanced or extreme when you don't think your capable. Which I'm not on extreme yet still. But I will someday and I'm still having fun on advanced too. Overall one of the best iPad games ever.

Amazing rhythm game!. This is an excellent rhythm beat game that ports the arcade version very well. Everything runs super smoothly and loading is minimal. The only downside would b the lack of free songs, but the movie amazing soundtracks on sale re more than worth it! Awesome gameplay mechanics and customizable themes and markers make this truly a must have rhythm music app!

Finally. I lived in Japan for a few years and left just as Reflec-Beat made its way into the arcades. Jukebeat Ripples was definitely one of the best arcade games and im ecstatic it finally got ported to the iphone/ipad. I hope that as time goes on all the songs from the arcade are made available. Also, please release an iphone/ipad version of Reflec-Beat!!

Reason I miss Korea. This is the reason that I miss Korea. That, and maybe a few other things, including DJ Max Technika. So, how often does it update? I want SigSig and Heaven&Hell, as well as I My Me Mine. You know what, just bring the entire playlist over. I'll buy the whole thing XDD

Great!. Wonderful game. When you get a grip on a section that was previously overwhelming it's such a nice feeling. Some crashing on iPad 3 since most recent update. Hangs when returning to main menu after a song. Please add a reset button to pause menu like Reflec Beat. Also I'd love to see some other genres of music like rap or (us/eu) techno.

Change time? :3. I just realized how cool licensed packs are now because you can probably put in anything! KONAMI packs are still very fun but pretty predictable. Don't get me wrong they're still as much fun as they was last year x3 but license packs make it exciting Cuz you don't know what songs are coming :3 With that said, can the license packs have a bit more variety in them? Last year was all about the classic music, again, don't get me wrong, i love oldies xD, but can we get some music that is a bit more recent? Such as Skrillex, Knife Party, Pendelum, Avenged Sevenfold? XD Idk my taste in music has expanded over the year and I think their songs would make good charts in the game xD Anyway, thanks for what you have already given us KONAMI. Fine game. Konkani obviously hasn't learned their lesson still after all these years that Americans simply don't like music they don't know, but no matter. This is good and fun but the higher levels will only work best on the iPad. The iPhone is much too small for the level 7 charts to be fun.

It's fun, but.... As much as I want to love this app, I think there needs to be at least two free song packs for those of us who are dirt broke. I listened to the demos and the songs sound great, but at the moment, I don't have the funds to just drop for a game. When I do, I'll buy a pack or two. Until then, I'd like to see at least one free song pack appear in the store, or I don't think I'll be playing this game for very long. I'll get bored with just three songs...which is unfortunate, because this is exactly the type of game I've been looking for... ... ...
