Disappointed. I guess I should try harder but I’ve been disappointed with the quality of design of the templates. While there are hundreds of them, I still really don’t use them because (on the few that I’ve tried) I have been unable to make small adjustments. So, long story short, if I could adjust, I would be happier. As it is, I haven’t really used them.

Apple Icon > System Prefs > Notifications > Turn off notifications for “Templates for Pages". I like that the developer updates this app. Lots of useful templates and a great way to make sure you stand out from other Mac users by having a template that isn’t one most people have seen before. There is a large selection of templates and the images work well. You can also customize them as needed. My biggest complaint is that the app will post notifications for their other products in the Notification center. If you are smart you’ll never turn on notifications, but if you do go to your Apple Icon > System Preferences... > Notifications > Turn off notifications for “Templates for Pages"

Expensive…but worth it. At first when I decided to buy this app I didn't think it would be good. It turns out it is just what i needed. It has 3 times more templates than pages has and they are way better quality. I do not regret buying it at all!

not impressed. yes the app will give you a huge amount of “designs” but non of them completed and non of them very good. If you consider what templates build into MS Word “designs” you find hundreds of them in this app. If you were looking for some cool, well thought through concepts and compelling designs….your out of luck.

Still Epic after the Update!. ***Get this app… The dev adds around 150 templates every few weeks, which brings the total count to 712! This is the best template app on the MAS! Faster than Angry Birds levels too!*** Original Review: $16 is a steal for 406 templates! True, this app is ALMOST as expensive as Pages itself, but it's a great deal too! I'm not going to restate everything already stated in the previous reviews, but this app is epic! Of course, I would love more templates… :) But this app is obviously the best Pages template app in the MAS!

Really?. I purchased this app, and it will not download. The support page (FAQ) stated that I would recieve an email confirmation after purchase with instructions to download. Never go the confirmation of downloand instructions. Why should I pay for something that will not download. Who do I contact to get my money back. This is a rip-off. Very disappointed, indeed! I will contact my credit card company first thing in the morning to dispute this $25 charge.

Good bang for the Buck.. I’ve been using this template set for a few years. Overall, useful and with good variety. I don’t often like to mess around with intricate designs and layouts so this fits me needs easily. And if I want to make a change, of course I can. I also use their other Templates for Numbers product and I can confidently say the same quality exists across those products. Nothing I do needs bespoke and hand-crafted results, so these templates get the job done and save me time. Totally worth full price.

Templates look nice as templates, but not good for practical usage. I purchased this app primaryily for resume templates so as to symplify resume formatting, so this review only applies to the resume templates offered by the app. Objectively, the resume templates are not appropriate for a person in one of the classic professions, such as the law, academia, or the medical field. If your purpose is to use one of these templates to create a professional resume that boasts your qualifications and not the design capabilities of the template designer, then don’t buy this App. The resume templates offered are cutesy and creative and very “unprofessional" in this sense. Of course these tastes are impacted many facotrs (age, region, profession, etc.). But even if your resume purposes require creativity and design, I would assume the person who is named on the resume should be the person to design it. I wouldn’t buy this app again. Some may find uses for the colorful yet limited applicability of these templates. I, however, did not.

to busy to design my own. love it. often use the templates with changes. good value and I use it weekly. cover most things I need.

Great. Having a lot of fun with the templates

Too Hipster. I thought I would get a nice mix of fresh, modern designs AND practical business templates. Not so. They don’t have anything usable for a REAL business. Also, by adding their templates to my Pages templates it deleted some of my original Pages templates. Now I can’t create a certificate for work because my Pages certificate templates were DELETED and the certificate selection in this app is a total joke. Sure, some of it is pretty, almost none of it is practical. A waste of money.

The templates are great, just wish they were more maleable. The templates are great, but it is hard to tweak them without a) a lot of time on your hands or b) a fairly high level knowledge of formatting in Pages. For instance, it would be great if the sepia photo backgrounds could be replaced with the same effect as they appear in the template (as it is, you would have to doctor your own photograph in another program and insert it into the template after deleting the stock photograph, which nulls the purpose of using a template). I still use the program whenever I need to send a card or make a flyer, however, and would make the purchase again.

Large selection of Templates from B to R. This is a very large selection of templates from badges, books, pamphlets, business cards, brochure, greeting cards, invitations, postcards, CD covers, certificates, employee id, envelopes, fax’s, flyers, invoices, labels, bookmarks, magazines, letters, manuals, meeting notes, memo’s, menus, newsletters, posters. proposals, reports, and resume. Many like books, magazines etc are serveral pages long so compete designs. Almost all are availble in portrait and landscape. For the money it is a lot of design stuff, for sure will be more than you will ever use. Easy to work with and modify or combine. You can load what you want into your templates in pages so you dont have to go through all of it.

My Computer.... i love this app but ive been trying to install updates but it hasnt been downloading correctly. it keeps saying "a problem has occured" where it says updates @ the top of app store but thats a personal computer problem. otherwise great.

OK if you relly need it. The templates come across as one big page. You cannot sort, serarch or categorize. There are many different types of templates and most of them are business cards. I was looking for a brochure and flyer and there were few of these available. The few that were available took alot of time to adapt to meet my needs. If you are looking for business cards this app might be for you, if you are looking for something else this is a poor solution.

Not Opening in Pages & No Way to Contact. I am unable to open these templates in pages. I am getting an error saying Pages is not downloaded, but it actually is downloaded, and when I attempt to go to their support pages I am being redirected to a FAQs page only. No way to directly contact the creators and inform them of the issue. If anyone else has experienced this and knows how it can be resolved, please let me know…or post a comment.

help. purchased but as i pull up templates it says “ could not find pages application”

I wish it would add the templates automatically!. I just got this, and the very first thing I notice is that I have to open this app to find what I want, then open it in Pages, THEN add it to the template chooser. For 4000 templates, that is a lot of work. On top of this, they all show up in "My Templates" by default, not in their respective categories like "Resumes" or "Brochures." That is a less than ideal user experience for user of less than 30 minutes.

Great app, payed itself off within the first couple of uses.. Saves a ton of time starting the creative process. Ultimately I end up changing probably 50-75% of the content/formatting/layout etc. But without the aide in starting I tend to spend the first bit of time staring at a blank page. This app has removed that completely. A great jumping-off point for just about any project. One improvement I would love to see is a few more catagories added. Like Info-sheets, 1-page proposals, Etc. Thanks for a great app!

Best Templates for Pages. Easily customizable professional and latest trends templates for education, business, social media portfolio, books… Totally worth the small price!

still lacking, but promissing overall. the tempaltes in this pack are attractive and reasonably priced. However, the disappointing thing is that when you try to quickly deal with a slightly more advanced designs many of the templates stop being time-savers — for example, the magazine designs feature just the template for the cover … the second page is a blank page design … how is that going to save me time? I found the Inspiration template set (Jumsoft) much more productive in that sense (cover + 5-10 templated pages). Maybe that will improve in the next update.

Great accessory for Pages!. Templates for Pages offers, as its name implies, a large variety of templates of a number of different types for use with Pages. What I particularly like about it is that the templates are composites of all of their separate pieces, so that you can resize or delete a frame, or a star, or a symbol, or change one, or pull a frame or other element in from a different Template, without changing the background. This makes these Templates much more versatile than those I have found in other template packages. While I own a variety of packages of templates, I usually find myself reverting to these, when I want to create a poster, or flyer, or invitation quickly, yet have it not look “the same” as others I’ve done in the past. Additionally, Templates for Pages is updated pretty frequently, and new templates are added with the updates, giving the designer ever-increasing options within this template set.

Not for Invites. decided to create an invite for a birthday party, googled some of the samples on this app and the looked trendy and cool. Purchased and they had less than 10 b-day cards none of which were apealing This app is great for couples who entertain, they have cool sophisticated templates for a chic intimate dinner (complete with menu templates) a couple of adorable V-day templates But birthday invites are sparse and simple. I wound up creating a pdf from a free site online, printed them at stapes for $10. So for my needs its 2 stars, but if you have swanky dinners- create posters or flyers often..there are even some decent business cards apps, but for invites? Stay away. I suspect with research you could create alot of these from free templates as well.

Restores the library of rich templates lost in v. 6 of Pages. Like a lot of people, I wasn’t happy when Apple dumbed down Pages so it would run on iOS. I had frequently used the wide variety of templates included in earlier versions, which I used to make marketing materials such as newsletters, book proposals and post card designs. Actually, this app provides hundreds of templates, many of which are excellent, so at last v.6 of Pages is better than v.5. The time this has saved me by not having to create/customize templates myself make the cost of Templates for Pages an excellent value. So simple to use, there was no need of reading instructions.

Excellent Addition. I was seeking some templates with a clean finish for some basic advertisements I’m tasked with completing at my job. This plugin was exactly the right fit. With a constantly updating source of templates and many looking incredibly clean and modern, I had more than enough options to finish out my own projects with just a little tweaking. I have received a lot of praise for the finished product - thanks Templates for Pages!

Updates, Updates, Updates. This is a great app! The templates are very well done but I’m really recommending this app because they keep updating it!! Just recently they added another 250 templates and with all the updates, I haven’t had to look anywhere else for my templates.

Very useful! test of time will tell if it is worth it. So I downloaded this app, because I love templates and didn't feel like designing a Thank You card. So after download the app immediately became useful satisfying the need for a Thank You poster template. There are 900+ templates holy smokes!!! So I'm betting the $25 will definitely be worth it, but only time will tell. Updated review in the future

Great; Exactly as Advertised. A metric sH!t-ton of really good templates for Pages. I really didn't know Pages was this powerful; it's not quite InDesign, but it IS a very powerful application (still waiting for ALL Pages '09 functionality to be restored though). Great templates here, and a good way to learn what Pages is capable of. Currently 2.57 GB, so plenty of templates for almost all needs.

Not supported in Maverick. Like several others, I am trying to use after my update to Maverick without success. Otherwise, it has been a great program. Please fix it soon!!!!

Meh… Don’t get fooled. Be aware if you buy this, that almost all templates in this pack look great until you download them and you realize that it’s pretty much just the first page or two. None of them are complete and well thought through. I feel like this company gave a room full of designers a quota and said, you’ll get paid by the number you produce, but no need to design past page 2. These templates are like fashion models, shiny and attractive from a glance, but not alot of substance inside. Wish I didn’t buy. Oh well.

Useful app!. Got tons of templates with this app. It helps me be more productive at the office. With so many flyers, menus and posters it saves lots of time. I actually fell in love with Pages when I bought this app.

Great Template. I use these templates all the time. They are great and it makes my work professional. We have our own business and use the templates for course announcements, course manuals all the time.

Won’t download. I should have listened to all of the others who gave this 1 star. I paid for it, made sure I had enough space, and started to download it to my macbook air on Yosemite’s latest version. then it stopped suddenly, and now I’ve tried everything to try and get it to resume downloading but it’s stuck on “pause”. I’ve read every forum, tried every trick, and cannot get it to resume. Restarted multiple times. Ugh. Don’t buy this app.

Not the right app for me.. Was really excited to get a Christmas Card going for this year but found this app lacking in options and hard to manage. Only found one size card and no options for adding pictures or textures except for what was already on the card or what I can already do with pages. No suggestions except to say I just bought the worng app probably not their fault.

Worth the Money. I was a little leery about spending so much on a app, but just within a couple weeks I have definitely gotten my moneys worth out of it. The templates are gorgeous and easy to edit, and the fact that they continue to release more templates just sweetens the deal.

Satisfying my needs.. This is satisfying my needs. I think that $ 25 for over 1K Pages templates is fair price knowing that some of the web sites is offering templates for $ 5 individually. This application has a great selection of templates for all occasions.

Best app. I’ve never written a review. I bought this product years ago and still use it regularly for everything. I wish there was an equivalent for word. Pages is so clunky but this app is the one purchase you will make that ensures you will use pages. You will make the best certificates, posters, reports, greeting cards, birthday party invitations… forever. Thanks for making this a one fee and done app. It’s the best lifetime investment. Be careful!!!. I paid for a lifetime membership on my Mac and now my membership just disappeared and I have to pay again for something I’ve already did 🤦🏻‍♂️ I sent a couple of emails and guess what? Great little helper. I do a lot of volunteer work and often need to whip up a quick poster, flyer or newsletter etc. This app is a perfect timesaver for me! Easy to access and adjust, the templates are bright, eye catching and well designed. The app is regularly updated with improvements. Have been a happy user for quite a while and will continue to be in the future.

Worth it.. First, ignore the 1 star reviews as they were written a long time ago. The app opens and works perfectly now. I’m currently running Mavericks (Version 10.9.1) and Pages (Version 5.1) The app is a standalone app where you browse the templates. Once you find what you like, double click and it’ll open in Pages where you can edit to your heart’s content. Lots of useful and beautiful templates. For the price I paid ($1.99), nothing even comes close.

Great App - That Works Perfectly. I also liked the idea of this App and was almost put off by the only review shown here. However after a research of the developer's website, I decided to give it a go. This App works perfectly…..just double click any of the templates and they open in Pages, the Choose Sections icon in the Pages toolbar allows you to add the other related templates. The templates can also be previewed by pressing the space bar or by Command Click and choosing the Preview App. It is nice to have other good looking and usable templates for Pages at what I consider a reasonable price. If there was a problem with this App, it has certainly been rectified since the last review.

Purchases. I really like the templates available, however I don't understand how the purchased templates v the ones I have to still pay additional money for. I know I can specifiy 'Purchased', but I don't understand why some aren't included when they are very similar.

Searched high and low for easy to use software to design my own brochures and other documents for my business - tired of paying thousands of dollars and waiting weeks for graphic designers. Templates for Pages delivered exactly what I was looking for. It is easy to use and gives me the look that I want!

Great application - time saver. I own a small business and like to publish my own flyers and menus to save money. This application is perfect for quick little jobs and providing me with ideas for promotions. Easy to use and no hassel at all. Well done.

Not happy. I needed a new look to my newsletter. These templates are very amateur. Could do a much better jub myself. Completely unuseable and a waste of money

Installed program and can. I like the concept of this program, I paid good money to down this and I can't use any of the templates. I can't open them tried everything even tried opening the templates in different programs like word, powerpoint even excel. It's very fustrating and I have wasted a lot of time trying to work it with no luck!

Templates for Pages. Really just what I was looking for - lots of templates that were easy to use. I had no trouble downloading or opening this app. The template chosen opens in pages and works a breeze. It's easy to import my own photos straight in to the selected template and adding my own text is fun. Even my kids have made magazine cover projects for special events - like father's day! The range is impressive and the layouts are beautifully created. With the number of templates available and the ease of use I highly recommend this app for all home photography project enthusiasts! Well done :)

excellent. after the dumbing down of pages, I was so disappointed at the templates on offer. This fixes it!! Pages was essentially useless to me until i found this app!

Can't get it to work... HELP!!. Can someone please help me? I paid over $13 for this app and I can't get any of the templates to open... NOT HAPPY! I really want to use some of them and can't.

Poor Templates. I just paid $25 for this app because I was looking for newsletter templates. I found the templates so bland and simple that I don’t expect I’ll ever use any of them. I think this purchase was a huge waste of money. I wish I could have previewed the templates before I had to purchase them, because I was very disappointed with them.

Templates for Pages. This is one great app. It is everything promised and more! Works like a charm.

Not worth the $16.99. This app is not worth the money I paid for it. Most of the template are photo filled - no real great graphics. Very disappointing.

Somewhat Helpful. This has a few great templates. Especially for someone looking to do something quick and easy. A lot of helpful menu’s, poster and brochures. Not worth the $33 though…. good for a basic beginner.

pages 5.0. Doesn’t work with pages 5.0!!!!!!!! what can I do?

Templates for Pages does not work with the latest Pages. I bought both new products Pages and then Pages for Templates. They are not working. Whenever I try to open a template it tells me to get the latest version of Pages. I already have that!!! This is so frustrating. I’ve sent them an email and requested they call me as soon as possible to get this resolved.

Properly Executed. Take the time to learn how to properly work with these templates and you will find them to be wuite useful. Design styles are easily modified to suit your needs. I use their MS Word version as well.

@GTBridge. I’ve had this program for probably 5 years, its been the best purchase I have ever made. They add templates on a regular basis, the quality is excellent. I’ve even taken elements from one template to another, with very little effort. Thank you for creating a great template resource.

It was great… until Maverick. Now that I’ve upgraded to Maverick, I get a message asking if I want to open it from the Template Chooser on Pages. Then I get two error boxes. It’s worthless now!

Need to Update. Need to update this app - I use all the time and if you are going to charge a high-price for an app like this, you need to keep it updated! PLEASE get this updated ASAP!

Wasted my money. To me, a book template should contain more than a cover and one page. It should contain the entire structure to create a book, including Table of Contents, pagination, Chapter Headings, appendices, references, index, etc. If I had known all this contained was a collection of book cover designs and one page….I defintely would NOT have purchased it.

Best App I. I work at a church and continually have send out flyers for stuff. After you create an image you can simply drag and drop and go from there....the templates that are in this app is great for layout guides or simply just add your own text and use what they already give you! It worth the money even if they start charging $69.99 for the app, it's that good!

One of the Best template app for pages.. I Love this app. This is the best template app for pages. It has over 750 templates and it gets upgraded with around 175 new templates every few weeks. This app is very reasonably priced, compared to others. It's a still. Some web sites sell templates $39-$99 individually. I didn't regret buying this app and i Highly Recommend it.

Won’t let me get any templates on my monthly subscription. Paid for the monthly subscription but every time i press get it redirects me to pay for a yearly. What is the point of offering a monthly if it doesn’t work

Upgrade Please. Nothing can be accessed in this app after the upgrade. What once was a great tool is now useless.

Books beware!. If you are buying this for the book template be aware that they do not include anything more than a title page and a table of contents - both easily created with a blank document. There are no section formattings or chapters, no facing page layouts and no numbering systems. It was a total waste and as far as I am concerned, falsely presented. Bad form!

really *look *through the screenshots offered!. I wanted to enjoy utilize this! I was surprised by the numerous down right bad (design) options. And overall - very few even decent ones. I immediately unsubscribed with in an hour. Im happy to pay for useful things, this isn’t one of them.

How can there be no reviews?. This is a great app I bought through Mac App Store, and I’m very pleased. It is what it says it is, and for me robust enough to me a go to app for thnak you cards, posters, stationary, project templates and such….

Waste of money. This app was a waste of money. Ever since I installed it, my computer runs much slower. The selection of templates is very disappointing. There are a lot of them, but not a great variety of styles. I regret wasting $25 for this and am thinking about just deleting it.

Pages.fan. I have been using pages since its inception. I think its the best program in the business. Love it!

Won’t Install. Just says “Installing”, but doesn’t actually prompt anything to install. Unsure if I’ve been billed. Never had any problem with installing other apps from 3rd parties, and seeing that others have reported this issue, sounds like it might be an issue with this software.

Disappointing!. If you are in need of templates for decks of playing cards, bookmarks and a wide variety of labels for jams and jellies, this is the app for you. If you need something to help with your day to day business, don't waste your money.

Do Not Purchase this App! You’ve been warned.. When I choose a Template to design in pages, some work, some don’t. Most of the ones I would like to design, don’t show up in Pages when I double clik on them. I just get a blank page. Waste of $25.
