Basically a Wii tanks knock off, but fun. This concept it’s totally ripped from the Wii tanks game, but it does have some new interesting game mechanics which I appreciate. Overall it’s pretty fun.

LOVE IT JUST GREAT but.... Good classical graphics and a very good game but I would recommend you to make a longer campaign and you can play it all day and you should make a multiplayer mode PLEAS the e...😶😶

Tough game. This game is to be honest too tough to play on my phone. After you get up to about level four it becomes almost impossible to beat it. Is that bad? Not necessarily it means it’s just too tough for me. I do like to have a chance to win sometimes. I think you need to be a much younger or more nimble person.

Awesome. Worth it but I think the game needs more levels

I REALLY like the game BUT.......... There are a few problems like the following: bad graphics( by the way I’m not really a stickler for good graphics so this doesn’t really bother me and it’s not a problem, what I mean is bad map looks and the tanks have very little detail, but the game functions perfectly), controls can be a bit wonky like when you’re moving, you’re tank would just stop when there was nothing stoping it, the hit boxes are REALLY messed up, a bullet could go right by you and visibly not hit you, but still destroy you, the largest problem with the game is.......... The amount of levels, there are 3 worlds, each with 40 levels which seems like a lot, but you really have to think, your paying money for a game with only 120 levels with only a good 30-40 levels that are actually a good challenge. After all these criticisms the game is still amazing and if developers fixed all these problems, it would be a way more popular game with more 5⭐️ reviews.

Awesome but.... This game is similar to the Laser wars one you guys made but for some reason I can’t find it to download it. It was my all time play favorite game but now I can’t find it and play it! Awesome Tank game!. The control setups are awesome especially the ability to steer the turret. You start with the basic cannon and as you progress get special upgrades depending on the level. I can see this game having a sequel. This game goes great with Heavy Metal. This a great buy!

Shooting tanks. This tank game is great. I love the level and all but one thing, shooting. I would definitely add a 2nd D pad to aim and shoot. Maybe aim and release the d pad to shoot? I don’t know, just an idea. Or add the option for this in the settings

1st rate battle game. The game is easy to figure out and is comfortable to use when moving the tank around and firing. As you advance in each ‘world’ the level of difficulty increases which keeps the game interesting and challenging.

How I love it. I just like tank hero because I can destroy tanks and it is really fun

Mediocre and not worth a dollar.. Like the title says, this game is definitely not worth a buck. There’s barely any features to the game, you can’t even aim the direction you are shooting your middles at, it’s really just by luck, I’ve seen better graphics and a free game. This game should be free not a dollar.

Not worth the money. After about level four the opposing tanks get advanced weapons. You don’t seem to get them. Very frustrating. Do yourself a favor. Find a better game to play where the programmers weren’t trying to create impossible tasks. Too many games out there to waste your time here. Just move on.

Brings back good memories. I used to play this game years back it’s good to see it’s still kicking though I did enjoy its laser tank variant more I’m happy that the series isn’t dead

Never gets old. I have been playing this game for many years. I go back to it again and again and again. I can blow through the entire campaign with gold stars in a couple hours but it is fun every time! I never tire of this absolutely perfect game.

GREAT!!. This app is awesome! It has no glitches on my IPod 4. It has great graphics and smooth controls. There are 80 levels over two worlds which won't get boring over a short period. I think one more world and at least 25 more levels are needed. I think that as a new weapon a rapid fire machine gun should be added to destroy larger groups of enemies. This app is great!!!!

Alright. This game was very fun and I loved the feeling of finally beating a really hard level. Only problem was that I beat the whole game and now there is nothing left to do. I was able to enjoy the game for about 2 hours before I beat it and fiddled with survival and time trials a little bit. Currently I am waiting for multiplayer or higher difficulty levels to quench my thirst for epic tank combat😂

Really fun game but.... This is a really fun game! I love the idea, I love how it's really simple and basic, and how there is different ammo. I just beat the game (not just passed the level but got a gold medal for all the levels and all the worlds) and I gotta say, it was $1 spent well. I do have one problem though. When I beat the game, it said, "Laser Wars is now free!" I tapped on it to get it, but I didn't have wifi. I connected to wifi and tried to get the game, but it showed me that the game was $1. I beat the last level again, hoping it would pop up, but nothing happened. Now if I want to get the game, I have to spend money when it said it was free! I don't know if Clapfoot was lying about it being free (which I doubt) but why do I have to buy it now? My guess is it's a reward for beating the game. Please help Clapfoot!

The missing 0.1 element is that the controls aren't exactly perfect and easy (which makes for an overall challenge = a good thing!) but if the controls were just a little easier, this game would be unbelievably flawless. Love it as it is! This app, unlike others, doesn't need a request for more levels--they take me a good amount of time. :)

Awkward Controls. Good overall game, but I can't enjoy it to its full extent thanks to cumbersome controls. See, when you shoot an enemy, you have to tap in their direction. This is fine for enemies on the right side of you, but once you get to enemies on your left, you find yourself tapping the enormous thumbstick with your other finger, and you ultimately end up looking like an idiot holding his phone in a really weird way. I've failed countless levels because I can't move and fire like that at the same time.

Great game. I remembered this game from several years ago and just had to get it. It just doesn't seem to get boring! The game is fast paced enough to keep you on the controls, and gets harder as you progress through the levels, so you don't become stagnant. Sure, it's not super flashy, but I would recommend this to anyone with an eye for classic arcade style games.

Idiotic. This game is inferiority and obnoxious and also I would give it 0 stars but it won’t let me

It's okay. Pretty much just mindless shooting. The key is to keep moving, poking in and out from cover or if there is no cover "crossing the T" moving perpendicular to your target, rather than towards it, so they miss you. From there you buy better weapons to keep the edge and then from there it's a matter of progressively harder levels until you're swamped. Then repeat. I went as far as I can go in about a half hour and now I'm done with it. It's only $.99 so I guess it's worth it. I was expecting more from all the praise it has received.

Masterpiece.. Wow. This game is great! Beautifully made! Worth the 1 dollar, that's for sure. If you don't know the basis of this game, here it is; You are a tank with one task, to kill the enemy tanks. Simple right? Not at all! The amount of tanks add up, and their abilities strengthen. The controls are just outstanding! This game calls for hours upon hours of fun. One thing that is missing is MULTIPLAYER. This game mode would be spectacular! Tank Hero does not need wifi. It's hard to find a compact game that doesn't chew up your data. In all, this game is a must have! Thanks for reading, have a great day!

C. Defenitly worth a dollar. It's really hard to watch the screen with my aiming thumb over it though. All aiming/launching should be done in bottom corner. Example put a circle down there like the driving joy stick, if you want the mortar to shoot left, touch the left side of that circle, or if you want it to shoot up and slitely right then touch the top and slitely right side of the circle, good game over all but my thumbs and brain get frustrated trying to get the tank to do what I want it to!

Control problems. This would be a five star and much more addictive game with a better means of controlling the tank. It's clunky and often gets in the way of seeing the tank you are to control. On more than one level the starting position is at the bottom left the screen, where the control pad is located. This blocks view of the tank. You can switch locations, but that is a poor solution at best. I'll stick with it and change the rating if the control is improved.

Amazing game. I have to admit, this the most addictive games I have ever played (next to tiny tower). It requires more strategy than quick wits (that's why I do not favor temple run). Completely worth the $0.90! I however do recommend downloading the lite version first to see if it is compatible with your device. Amazing game!

Just moving and shooting. Nicely designed game. The controls are a bit awkward and I never really feel like I have adequate control over firing. The disappointing thing is that you have no control over the weapon you are given. You can't change the weapon. There's no economic aspect in which you can buy upgrades (which was what I expected). There are no power-ups. Just level after level of moving around and firing the weapon you've been issued. Could be so much more.

Customization & Multiplayer. This was my first game i ever got on my ipod and its been on here ever since and i got my ipod 2 years ago...it never gets old but i do suggest you should make a multiplayer one where you and a friend could fight or work together on survival or special multiplayer levels you could do it with game center. It would also be cool to but with in game earned credits or unlock new tank models and colors. But like i said its my first downloaded and it never got old but if you had that update it would mean a lot.

Best game ever but could use a little improvement. This game is breathtaking. When i first got it i wasn't expecting much. But i didnt expect to get this masterpiece. But you could add a few things. First of all you should have more worlds with more enimes And in survival you should have it to where you can have the mine launcher as a playable weapon. And it could use a multiplayer and leader board function. And a customization feature. You should be able to make your own map and customize your tank(this could be useful for multiplayer) anyways i hope you take my suggestions and make this great game and even better one

Love this game, please read my suggestions. I love this game but here's a couple of minor ideas You should be able to change your tanks color (camo also included) You should put in more maps In survival mode, your tank should change not just your type of shell (like in Tank Trouble for the computer) You should put in permanent upgrades you can buy with credits you get from shooting tanks, or temporary upgrades you find on the ground You should put in an online multiplayer like team deathmatch or capture the flag etc. You should be able to buy more hearts with credits You should put in a map creator or if not that make a whole new map creator app New weapons, like mini gun, homing missile, nuke or mini nuke, bouncy rocket (can bounce off walls more), etc. You can pick a mode, like easy medium and hard mode, maybe even extreme and baby mode You should be able to have a shield (if its good enough, rockets bounce back at the enemy Bigger maps for multiplayer Special weapon types like water (it rusts the enemy in place for a couple of seconds), oil slick (harder to control tank), invisibility (self explanatory), speed boost, rapid fire, flamethrower (maybe this one is for buying with credits), Able to buy credits with real money (you can get more money with this one and actually use my suggestions) Different weather (rain you rust faster, snow you move slower, and normal is normal) It took me 30 minutes to think up all of these, please think about them

In a world.... ...where games LOSE THEIR LUSTER because they're flashy and overly cluttered with a bagillion and a half frills and hoo-ha's, THIS GAME stands above the rest with it's simple, user friendly interface that flows seamlessly with the gameplay. I've got a tank, you've got a tank(and may or may not have insulted my mother), let's have a go, sucka! Doesn't get more straight forward than that. Bravo(and brava), Clapfoot! Keep up the great work.

Awesome. The only thing aggravating is the location of the pad. Need a center location instead of just left and right. Or just make it where it zooms out as you pan left or right so you can see the entire board because you can't see what's on the side the pad is covering it up. Also the trigger is a little sensitive when you go to steer it fires when you didn't mean to. No big deal just messes up your accuracy score if you were trying to get a good one. But by no means does it make the game unenjoyable! Love this game!

Great, but. Great game, I love playing it... I just wish there was something more to it, I've seen a lot of people say it needs to have multiplayer, and I agree, and I think another really cool feature would customizable tanks and possibly even customizable maps... Just a few things things to add make me want to come back to it over and over, but other then that, well worth the $1.

Fun game, battery drain. All things considered this game is pretty fun. The controls can get annoying because you often have to reach across the screen to fire, which blocks the screen, but it's not game breaking. The biggest issue that I have is that my iPhone's battery life drops like a ton of bricks if this game is running, even if I don't currently have it open. I have to shut down the program entirely (by double clicking home then holding down on the app), or I will lose about 15% battery life per hour. rating would be 4 stars if not for this issue. I am using an iPhone 4 with the most current iOS.

Lousy, non-combat game. This isn't a combat game as it appears, but more of a puzzle game. The gameplay is finding what moves you can come up with to overcome an increasing number of opponents with ever-increasing powers. In the end it offers nothing but frustration. I'm looking for combat: equal or near equal opponents fighting, not seeing how far I can get before inevitable death. Adding to the frustration is an awful interface. The virtual joystick is difficult and unresponsive. Gameplay puts enemies under your finger where you can't see or target them. Save a buck and try the lite version first...maybe you'll like it more than I did.

From an tank driver. I have been driving tank for my whole life and this game is very realistic. The triple shot bullets are just like those of real life. I have done many of things while playing this game like: going to the bathroom, making sandwiches, looking at magazines, taking my pants off, putting on lotion, having the time of my life;). All these things you can do while playing this game that is why I think it is so great.

Incredible!. Finally I have found an iOS game similar to the Wii-Play tanks game! I have loved that game for so long an have searched and searched for an iOS game that is similar! And now I finally have! This game brings me that and a bunch more. Pretty good controls, well thought out levels, a variety of game modes, a variety of different weapons, and 120 total levels makes this game my #1 game on my phone.

Great game!. This game is very fun! I continually find myself replaying campaign missions. The survival mode is also very enjoyable and well thought out. There are some things that I believe if added would make the game better than it already is. - Multiplayer co-op in both missions and survival (online/bluetooth) - Multiplayer PvP (online/bluetooth) - Level creator: levels can be shared with friends or the player community - All weapons in missions can also be bought and used in survival - The ability to buy placable towers/turrets in survival. Towers/turrets prices vary depending on their weapon. - With an in game account, the ability to customize your own tank with different colors and decals. - More campaign missions - You can even add some in game purchases to increase profit If these suggestions are all added the game would be much better than it already is and also have an increase in its fan-base. I would also raise my review to a perfect 5 stars. Never-the-less, it is still an amazing game! I highly recommend it to anyone!

Tanker. I have to admit I had trouble choosing 5 stars maybe a it should have 4 stars. but Very good i recommend it to all not really that violent last u a good amount of time good amount of time controls are brill maybe could of been more inventive with the weapons and the levels are similar To each other but apart from that it's awesome and cheap. great to play when u are waiting for the bus and stuff like that. Really great trying to get more money to buy weapons and ammo on the game (with fake money) I recommend it for sure.

120 Gold Medals Later.... I finally beat the campaign of this game. D-Pad issues can be resolved by using the "Swipe and Tap" control scheme. I also preferred to use the "fixed" camera setting. The difficulty of this game varies from childish to fiendish as you progress through the levels. Very much like the Wii tank game, but it has much more variety. Highly recommended. This is one of the best $0.99 Apps I have purchased.

Turtle. Hello I know many of u won't read this but for the people that do I want u to no I my life I have wanted to be a turtle. It just feels like I was supposed to be born one . I have started to where a little cardboard shell around my waist and walk kinda slow . Cool, but almost too small. Cool game but controls are almost too small for my fingers causing me to loose some battles I should not. Too, the left movement pad gets in the way of my shooting sometimes. And finally, the screen on my iTouch is too small because I can't see who's shooting at me sometimes. It would probably be much better on my iPad, but did see a version it. Still worth $1 though...it won't keep me entertained for days (on this small screen) but if you compare to the price of a movie ticket and the gas to drive to the theatre, this has a better ROI, even if I get tired of it after a couple of hours.

Pretty addicting.... Its all good n challenging n everything but theres only a couple of problems. The D-Pad gets hard to control sometimes like when u r focused completely on the level n ur moving around, then ur finger slides off the pad n it screws u up. Another thing is that the pause button doesnt work most of the time. Idk weather its only on my phone when that problem occurs, but it gets annoying when u have to put it down for a lil but i cant pause it. Other than those small issues, this game is awesome n really challenging n im pretty sure they r gonna come out with more levels, so dont rate bad just cuz of that "problem"

Good fun. Having a blast playing this game. Only have one problem the controls. You have a d-pad to control the movement and you fire by pressing anywhere on the screen. The problem is that sometimes you cover the screen with you fingers and can't see incoming shells. Game is still a lot of fun. I would still buy this game knowing this.

Reminds me of when I was younger. When I was younger, my favorite thing to do was play with toy tanks. Then when I was a little older, my favorite thing to do was play a tank game on the wii. This app brings me back to playing that wii game. I love it! And so do all of my friends. My only complaint is the controls are a little small on my iPhone 5S screen, but other than that I love everything about this game.

Customization + Multiplayer. All of my friends have this game and we hate we can't play together and if u add multiplayer, make it so you can get credits credits will then let you unlock new perks and items for your tank. And for customization, we can make our tank stronger and maybe you can even buy them for real money. I hope your start requesting this into the game Your regards, a tank hero fan.

One word.... Onomonopiea(awesome). An awesome game with a touch of realistic controls. One thing that u need to fix is that the bullets that u shoot dont hurt u bit the howitzer and the bazooka( big bullet) do damage if hit at wall or close range. Another glitch is that sometimes a bullet just sits there just sitting doesnt move and makes the game laggy. I agree with the people below me multiplayer and customizable tanks would b awesome. Like upgrade weapons like damage or range or velocity. Changing colors or decals(flames, skulls, etc) well hope u do at least one of these things mentioned in here

Fun!. Really fun. Different artillery and barricade properties.

Great but some problems. I love the game. My fav app. But it actually gets pretty hard. (not that I don't enjoy a challenge) but sometimes I find myself overpowered by enemy's. I really think there should be something like a shield power up (not an add on -_-) so I don't blow up it .3 seconds because of being over powered by enemies. All needs something like hit markers so I know when I'm taking damage. And one more thing. Some enemy weapons need to be nerfed. When I get the time bomb mortar it doesn't blow up on enemy impact. But when enemy's hit me it blows up. That needs to be fixed. It's a great game. But needs improvements.

Great Game but Control Issue. When you place your finger on the directional pad the tank immediately begins to change direction unlike other games that use the place you initially placed your finger as the center of the D-pad, not moving the vehicle until you move your finger. Without this feature the tank never has precise control and is noticeable in higher levels. If I wasn't a fan of this game I would not have written this review. I will give it 5 stars once they change this

Control Problem. This is a fun and addicting game. However the control options leave much to be desired. Firing the cannon accurately is difficult especially in close quarters. There are moments when you can either not see enemy tanks before they shoot or you are covering your tank with your thumb while trying to move. Also trying to fire the gun where the control stick is does not work. The game would be perfect if the control options were improved.

Poor UI design for Controls. I really wanted to like this game, but the design and placement of the controls is terrible. Regardless of which side you place the movement control, it covers the battle area and you are unable to shoot in that direction. On early levels you can find a way to work past this. But fighting with the game controls should not be part of the game challenge. The movement control should be off the battle field. Or maybe allow the user to flick the control from side to side, during the game. Either way, the game becomes frustrating and boring once the battles grow in complexity and you can't maneuver or shoot properly.

It's.... Ok.. A tough tiny tank game with acceptable controls. It wasn't quite what I thought it'd be, which was a bit disappointing. I thought it'd allow me to actually "choose" my weapons, and offer other forms of customization. Not the case. It's hundreds of individual puzzles, where it's you, the weapon set for that stage, and a bunch of other tanks. It's ok, but I find myself getting frustrated on later stages, as the game seems as much luck as skill. I have the feeling I'll be playing this only a bit longer, then watch it fade into my dusty game list.

Possibly Best Game on App Store. This is the only app I have wanted to write a review on --- the stunning quality and meticulous effort that clearly went into the production of this app makes for an enjoyable, progressively entertaining game that will never fail to bore you. The only downside is there's not as many levels as there could be, but there's a survival mode for each level that's guaranteed to keep you busy even after you've finished the campaign mode. There's a steady increase in difficulty, constantly changing enemies (not just more), and you are given artillery upgrades often so the game just keeps getting better and better.

More Maps And Multiplayer. I beat this game and got gold medals on all the maps and all the levels. It needs more maps and NEEDS a multiplayer with different game modes. I can't play the game anymore because I beat it and now I'm wondering if I should delete it. I don't want to have to but if a new update doesn't come along soon with new maps and multiplayer I think I just might have to. ALL IT NEEDS IS AN UPDATE.
