Works ok IF it lets me sign in. This app works well except for the sign on. It only lets me sign in half of the time, whether I’m using a password, pin or fingerprint. This needs to be fixed!!!! I end up with a frozen sign on page and multiple times I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it for it to allow me to sign in.

Poor application. Can’t even login the button is non responsive. Please update so that can be fixed and allow me to use my app to monitor my alarm

Awful App. This app is ridiculous. It’s slow to respond, locks up and causes long wait times standing outside our house waiting for the system to disarm. This app is so awful, I recommend getting an entirely different system!

A Truly Terrible App. We have a Rogers Home Monitoring System, and the app is TERRIBLE! It took 5separate visits to install the system because they couldn’t seem to get it right. Sluggish, poorly responsive and it signs itself out spontaneously and won't sign back in. Often, we have to deactivate the system BEFORE leaving work; otherwise, we have to stand outside waiting for the system to sign in—which can take 5 min or longer IF AT ALL. It alone is a good reason to seriously consider another system. WE have complained numerous times but the central customer service is exactly like the app—Sluggish, poorly responsive...

Cannot log in. Cannot login on our new iPhones 11 Pro (iOS 13.3). Frozen log in page. My old iPhone 7 Plus ( iOS 13.2.3) can log in with no problems.

Nightmare. This app is useless, even more so after ROGERS changed the user interface. What complete garbage and a waste of money! The app takes forever to load, randomly kicks you out, and doesn’t work at all at times. I rather have the old layout of the app than the new version. It is a nightmare! How am I suppose to check if someone is breaking into my house if the app keeps saying loading... and never loads!

Where is Landscape mode!!!!!. How hard is it to let this app rotate? These screens are dead boring and hardly have any information on them. I have iPads all over the house in landscape mode and this is the only smart home app that only works in one orientation.

Worst security system. It’s a total waste of money plus no service. Totally dissatisfied and the worst part is it’s a 2 year contract. It’s about people’s safety and well being stop scamming hard earned money out of people.

Works well. I have had no problems. Looks good too.

Stopped arming my system. Worked great before. Now it won't arm my system from my phone. When I try to set the alarm from the app it says 'your system is arming. This can take up to 3 minutes but never arms the system. Super annoying

GARBAGE GARBAGE GARBAGE!!!. I’m beyond frustrated at this point of having this crappy “free” with alarm home surveillance that barely captures motion and most times misses occurring events outside that should’ve been recorded, it lags all the time logging in and loading. I’ve had to call technicians from Rogers to come and fix the issue about 7-8x so far and the issues continue to prevail. It’s more of a headache than a safety feature at this point. Moving onto Google Nest or Link.

Garbage. Absolute garbage and waste of money, do not bother getting security with Rogers or using this app. It constantly logs you out, the cameras miss recordings constantly, it always has connection issues…it’s unreal how bad this works

Read the reviews. They sum up the major crashing problems constantly hanging / freezing, always being logged out.

Rogers smart home monitor system. This system is absolute junk, I had it over 2 years now and still the keypad and app doesn’t work properly since day one. Just save the hassle and go with bell!

Outdated App. The UI in the app looks horribly outdated and needs a major refresh, function is there thankfully, but needs a good overhaul in design

Doesn’t stay logged in. Overall the app isn’t terrible but it’s main flaw is that it doesn’t keep you logged in for more than a week which can be a problem when you’re trying to do something in a hurry, like disarm a screaming arm, but you have to spend a minute logging back in.

God awful system. This system is absolutely horrific.

Terrible. Im always logged out even with the “remember me” option. Its a total disaster. No updates coming out!?!?!?!? No option to make a set of events to apply before arming!

Cannot connect. After two separate technicians and still I cannot connect to the cameras. Then it doesn’t always record activities. Nothing else left for me to do but return it. Not worth the grey hairs.

The app is terrible.. I have Rogers for everything, and have had the alarm now for going on 6 years. Why can’t they fix the app? I constantly have to re log in, and it’s constantly asking for my preferences. Send notifications? Face ID? I answer these questions daily. Just no improvement on the app.

Bad. Can’t login to the app anymore which means I can’t edit any of my rules! All of a sudden says “there’s an issue with my account”? Worst part is it takes OVER TWO HOURS TO TALK TO A HUMAN Rogers clearly cutting costs after their acquisition

L’application ne fonctionne plus. Ça fait plus de deux semaines que l’application ne fonctionne plus. À chaque fois que je me branche, je reçois un message qu’il y a un problème avec mon compte et d’essayer de me reconnecter encore. Ce message ce reprend en boucle à chaque reconnection. Il faudrait de toute urgence améliorer ce service que l’on paie d’ailleurs exagérément chère.

It’s terrible. Always have to log in with username/password. Cameras don’t work most of the time. Terrible app with very poor user experience. I’ll be calling to cancel the service.

Horrible service. Constantly same issue- communication error. Why do I need an application if it’s not working. Takes forever to arm to disarm Why don’t you fix the app since all the reviews are bad!!

👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽. F-ING AWESOME scrambling around all of a sudden trying to type in the RIDICULOUS password you have to make along with your sign in info, just to turn the alarm off when it’s been accidentally triggered at 5 am. Yes. 5 am and alarm triggered is when the app decided to glitch and forget my sign in info. Does Rogers know how to NOT screw people over? That’s a pretty ridiculous glitch. Not to mention, how slow the wifi I pay over $100 to the same company is. If this is a common glitch, fix it.

Useless…. I have to Sign in every time security system needs to be disarmed despite the fact that Remember me option is on (checked). This monitoring system is not free, so my question to Rogers is why pay for something that is not working? Is your goal to push people to look for other security providers?

Crappy app. For a corporation the size of Rogers, this app certainly gives the idea that its been developed by a mom-n-pop type company. Too often the app crashes, often the app doesn’t even take you to the login screen!!! I’ve had to open my residence while alarm was armed on multiple occasions, thus triggering the alarm just because the app is down. Fix up Rogers!!! Nothing will change, this review won’t matter, Rogers has your money they don’t care about the consumer experience because if they did they would’ve fixed the app by now.

app won’t let me sign in. for no reason today the app logged me out and now nothing happens when i hit sign in. what the frick. most of the time it takes a long tome to load up and signs me out constantly but now i cannot log back in. shame on u ppl

Keeps logging me out. The app works good when you are logged in Lately, every time I go to open the app, I have to login,very inconvenient. Hopefully that will be a fix for this soon.

Worst app I’ve ever used. It’s hilarious how bad this app is. It constantly signs you out, crashes, and freezes. I’ve been using it for years and they’ve never addressed any of the issues. On top of that, the UI/UX is absolutely horrible. There’s no accessibility features, everything looks out of place, and there’s a random black bar beneath the navigation bar. As a developer, I know a lot of these issues can be fixed quite easily, but they choose not to even though customers are spending absurd amounts of money every month on this home monitoring system.

Signing in. Why do I have to sign in every time! Shouldn’t my Face ID be enough! It directs me to a log in page where I need my user ID then password on the ancient interface but yet my Face ID goes through. So annoying. I don’t even use the app because it isn’t easily accessible, I might as well cancel it all.

Alarm Notice on Phone. I wish the app icon changed color when it’s armed to remind you to disarm in the AM - everyone looks at their phone but not always the keypad first thing!

Terrible App. This app is by far one of the worst apps. Considering it’s for home monitoring, you’d think the quality would be better. You’re constantly logged out, can’t log in at all, and don’t get me started on the time it takes to look at the camera or view videos. This app is disappointing and frustrating.

Embarrassingly bad app. For the amount of money Rogers costs per month, a app of this bad quality should not be expected.

Worst App Ever!!!. Where to start?! There are so many bugs with this app, there are really too many to mention! For starters, about 80% or the tunic the app freezes and I can’t get into it. Then every-single-solitary-time it prompts me of a tutorial on how to use the damn app when it should recognize that I’ve been signed in before and only show that once, if there’s been a significant update. Then let’s talk about the fact that the video cameras almost NEVER work! If some motion trips it, like leaves on a tree, it takes 3 minutes to reset. A LOT can happen in 3 minutes! And EVER-SINGLE-DAY, my video runs out of memory and conks out with an error message and doesn’t capture anything past that point. I’ve adjusted the area and sensitivity and called tech support, but they can’t help. I’m not sure wth I’m still paying for this garbage. Likely only because I’m too busy to switch (for now)!

Sign in sign in sign in sign in. I will sign in and close the app then go back in five minutes later and I have to sign in again... This happens all the time recently... What gives? What if I need to do something quickly?

Terrible App. Needs update.. It seems like whenever I actually need to use this app for something, it fails me. Either it cannot connect to server, without any notice, which I see is a previous unfixed issue from over a year ago, or it doesn’t let you scroll back in your “live recordings” which is the whole point for having a security system in the first place. This app hasn’t been updated in 8 months and it seems the same issues are ongoing and unresolved.

Garbage App. This app has so many flaws that cause it to crash over and over. Kicks you out even after you sign in and select stay signed in. Then makes you go through sign in and verification just to disarm it. Over all I wouldn’t recommend this app for the service.

Not very stable. With new iOS 13 cannot stay connected to server. Times out, cannot view cameras etc. Hard to monitor your home with this app. Unfortunately there are no alternative options.

Take forever to load Live Camera. This app is really slow to load live cam. Needs a desperate update

Seems okay but... Mar27/24: To date the random sign out problem is still happening. Despite using the app only a few hours prior, you are randomly signed out. I could understand if one did not use the app for a period of days, that could make sense but after such a short time, rubbish. June11/22: Still no fix with the frequent failure to sign in issues, once or twice a week still & always at the most inconvenient times, of course. June27/20: No changes on the unexplained frequent signing in issues (failure of Face ID/pin) from the recent few updates. Thankfully, it continues to be the only inconvenience that I’ve come across. Apr26/20: My Pin/Face ID, it frequently fails & I’m resigned to enter the full Email & password again, despite using it daily or multiple times daily, in turn defeating the Convenience of the app.

Trash App. Everything works fine but the app continuously asks me to sign in, I sign in and then it keeps saying issue with account and to sign in again repeatedly. Fix this trash or higher better developers

Cannot connect to server. Overall, I am pleased with the system, but this app needs upgrading. Too many times when I attempt to login, the app cannot connect to the server. At least send a message to your subscribers so they are aware that the server is down. Especially when I am trying to arm the house or turn on lights and I can't login it's frustrating. A few times this app has been down from 12am-5am with no notice. Please fix this issue ASAP

This app sucks. Sensors randomly disconnect from the base, I am constantly logged out of the app unnecessarily and an overall garbage UI makes me recommend you look elsewhere.

Horrible app. It wouldn’t open when you need to check on your cameras. Almost every time it fails to connect to the server or cameras. I’ll definitely switch to other app and provider.

Freezes quite often. This app needs an upgrade as it freezes quite often and it’s really annoying and frustrating.

App works great!. App works great! All remote functions work smoothly and reliably. If there are issues with connectivity it's typically because of issues with your connection at home (e.g. Internet connection) not the app.

stop upgrading if you can’t do the job right. Can’t sign in the app whenever Rogers upgrading the system.

App never works. The app is consistent….in the art of failing to connect to camera footage! Can’t believe they haven’t fixed this bug after all these years. If I could rate 0 stars, I would!!

Log in issues. Have to login almost every time even with remember user name checked off. Today not even recognizing user name and can not get into the app. App is up to date. Frustrating to say the least when you are out and want to check in and adjust settings. Time to find another service provider.

Terrible. Awful app, camera cannot connect half the time. And yes I’ve updated all apps and iOS platforms, and yes I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app multiple times. Such a waste. What’s the point if I can’t see what’s going on at my house when away? Yes, I have contacted support who claims the issue was resolved, but the app is so unreliable that it continues to happen.

The app is so dated and redundant. The app seriously needs work. The last update says it was done 6 months back. It keeps showing me that my cameras have lost connection whereas I see that they are already working. Guys - pls fix this app. There is some serious API service call issue between the touch screen and the mobile app.

Outdated & Unreliable. The Rogers Home Monitoring app is glitchy garbage. They haven’t upgraded this app since I got it in 2010. Do better rogers!

Not Working. My log in information is correct in using the app but trying to log into the app doesn’t work. So when I get home after a night shift, I can’t disarm “Night” while my family is sleeping. I’d than have to trigger the alarm by just walking in the door. Ridiculous. Also the alarm just randomly goes off sometimes while I am home. And no one or thing has triggered the sensors. I’m not impressed….

App is trash. Can’t login, app is constantly frozen. Rogers needs to fix this app or I’m cancelling SHM very soon.
