Awful App. This app is ridiculous. It’s slow to respond, locks up and causes long wait times standing outside our house waiting for the system to disarm. This app is so awful, I recommend getting an entirely different system!
Worst security system. It’s a total waste of money plus no service. Totally dissatisfied and the worst part is it’s a 2 year contract. It’s about people’s safety and well being stop scamming hard earned money out of people.
Poor application. Can’t even login the button is non responsive. Please update so that can be fixed and allow me to use my app to monitor my alarm
A Truly Terrible App. We have a Rogers Home Monitoring System, and the app is TERRIBLE! It took 5separate visits to install the system because they couldn’t seem to get it right. Sluggish, poorly responsive and it signs itself out spontaneously and won't sign back in. Often, we have to deactivate the system BEFORE leaving work; otherwise, we have to stand outside waiting for the system to sign in—which can take 5 min or longer IF AT ALL. It alone is a good reason to seriously consider another system. WE have complained numerous times but the central customer service is exactly like the app—Sluggish, poorly responsive...
Cannot log in. Cannot login on our new iPhones 11 Pro (iOS 13.3). Frozen log in page. My old iPhone 7 Plus ( iOS 13.2.3) can log in with no problems.
Works ok IF it lets me sign in. This app works well except for the sign on. It only lets me sign in half of the time, whether I’m using a password, pin or fingerprint. This needs to be fixed!!!! I end up with a frozen sign on page and multiple times I’ve had to delete the app and reinstall it for it to allow me to sign in.
Where is Landscape mode!!!!!. How hard is it to let this app rotate? These screens are dead boring and hardly have any information on them. I have iPads all over the house in landscape mode and this is the only smart home app that only works in one orientation.

Nightmare. This app is useless, even more so after ROGERS changed the user interface. What complete garbage and a waste of money! The app takes forever to load, randomly kicks you out, and doesn’t work at all at times. I rather have the old layout of the app than the new version. It is a nightmare! How am I suppose to check if someone is breaking into my house if the app keeps saying loading... and never loads!

Fix the App!!!. Rogers displays complete contempt for users of this system given the poor performance and utter lack of attention given to ensuring the app functions efficiently. Prepare for problems as you will experience many on a daily basis.
Pretty mediocre. Boots me out every second day
Horrible. Every time I open the app I have to sign in, even with ‘remember me’ checked off. This is new. I’m removing the whole system soon, its total garbage.
Bad App. Rogers has decided not to upgrade front house pads and expects us to use this App which crashes all the time. We will be looking for another home monitoring company.
Tiny session, need to log in every time. It’s infuriating how you need to put in your username and password every time you switch to the app
Horrible app.. Horrible app. Constantly have to delete the app and download because it freezes and will not let me sign in. Would be horrible in an emergency situation for the app to not work.
Worst app ever. Doesn’t work or load cameras
The worst. My previous review has been removed but the app is so bad I had gone back to update my review, so I will leave a new review. This is the worst app. You are constantly signed out and it often freezes on sign in or there’s some sort of error and you can’t sign in. We’ve had our alarm go off and the app is frozen or unavailable and our touchpad won’t work so we’ve had to call in to get the alarm to turn off. This has happened several times. When I mean you have to sign in constantly, it’s that the app has a feature where you should be able to use a code or Face ID, but most of the time it doesn’t work and you have to use your email and password. Super inconvenient for turning off an alarm. The camera is awful, so we don’t use it. If your batteries run out on something in the middle of the night your alarm will go off. If you need to change the batteries you have to call in. It’s just awful and I honestly don’t know why we continue to pay for it. It’s been years and they refuse to make it better.
Garbage app. It’s a terrible app. I have it set to remember me and use Face ID yet it makes me enter my username and password every time. Deleting and reinstalling sometimes fixes the issue but not always and not for long.
Can’t login!. Unable to login for a few days
Garbage. Update: since my review the app has managed to get worse! If the goal was to create a bad app that gets less usable over time then bravo Rogers, you really nailed it! Rogers managed to make a crappy app even worse. Terribly glitchy and works maybe half the time. Will be cancelling my home monitoring system this is a joke.
Poor app at best. This app needs to be updated. It never remembers my identity when logging in and it’s painful to keep using the username and password for login. How about considering Face ID Rogers? It’s a bit of a embarrassment for the Rogers brand.
Not very stable. With new iOS 13 cannot stay connected to server. Times out, cannot view cameras etc. Hard to monitor your home with this app. Unfortunately there are no alternative options.
Does anyone even read these?. This app sucks! Always crashes, never remembers me, half the time it won’t even let me log in so I have to enter my home which sets the alarm off and scares my family and dogs half to death. Better off to go with the competition.

Garbage App. This app has so many flaws that cause it to crash over and over. Kicks you out even after you sign in and select stay signed in. Then makes you go through sign in and verification just to disarm it. Over all I wouldn’t recommend this app for the service.
app won’t let me sign in. for no reason today the app logged me out and now nothing happens when i hit sign in. what the frick. most of the time it takes a long tome to load up and signs me out constantly but now i cannot log back in. shame on u ppl
Terrible App. Needs update.. It seems like whenever I actually need to use this app for something, it fails me. Either it cannot connect to server, without any notice, which I see is a previous unfixed issue from over a year ago, or it doesn’t let you scroll back in your “live recordings” which is the whole point for having a security system in the first place. This app hasn’t been updated in 8 months and it seems the same issues are ongoing and unresolved.
Painful. Hate having to sign in EVERY single time I open the app. Makes wanting to arm or disarm the system such a chore.

F-ING AWESOME scrambling around all of a sudden trying to type in the RIDICULOUS password you have to make along with your sign in info, just to turn the alarm off when it’s been accidentally triggered at 5 am. Yes. 5 am and alarm triggered is when the app decided to glitch and forget my sign in info. Does Rogers know how to NOT screw people over? That’s a pretty ridiculous glitch. Not to mention, how slow the wifi I pay over $100 to the same company is. If this is a common glitch, fix it.
Out dated. Has fifteen year old functionality, and integrates with absolutely nothing. Also, I now have to log in every time I use it (new feature?). I’m thinking of unloading the whole thing, because nothing works with Google home, which everything else in my house does.
Does not keep signed in. I reported this issue few times. Rogers Developers don’t care to fix. asking to sign-in when you are in hurry to use this important and safety related app is really ridiculous!
Terrible app. The app barely ever loads and now it won’t let me even sign in to see my camera or settings. It’s super frustrating especially since has to do with the safety of my home. The app needs to get fixed asap!
Stopped arming my system. Worked great before. Now it won't arm my system from my phone. When I try to set the alarm from the app it says 'your system is arming. This can take up to 3 minutes but never arms the system. Super annoying
No Longer Sending Text. App recently stopped sending text messages as part of automations. Nothing was changed, it just stopped working for no apparent reason. Paired with signing in issues, makes me want to switch providers entirely.
Go with another company. I can’t wait until my contract with Rogers is up. The quality of cameras is mediocre, hardly picks up motion, front of house display looks like it’s from the 90s and the app takes forever some days when it’s supposed to be for security.
Constantly have to login. Probably everyday or almost everyday you have to login back into the app which makes it such a huge security risk when you want to see the camera asap when you get a door or alarm notification.
Full Service Smart Home Monitoring no longer offered. Rogers only offer self protect product.. Well, that explains why this app has been so neglected since Rogers no longer offered this full security service to new customers. They only offer self protect option. Anything happens, you need to call the police yourself. No more central monitoring 24/7. This is a poorly designed app. Very slow to responds. App constantly logs off and forcing us to login over and over. Has been an issue for many years with no resolution. Viewing camera images are mostly a miss. Always gives “communication errors.”
App needs huge improvement. The system is good overall but the app sucks. Every time when the alarm goes off because I forgot to disarm from the wall unit, I need to login and the face recognition does not work. I’m forced to manually login adding stress when the alarm is blaring and giving me a countdown. So stressful! Rogers needs major improvement to make it quick responding and fix the face recognition please!

Worst App Ever!!!. Where to start?! There are so many bugs with this app, there are really too many to mention! For starters, about 80% or the tunic the app freezes and I can’t get into it. Then every-single-solitary-time it prompts me of a tutorial on how to use the damn app when it should recognize that I’ve been signed in before and only show that once, if there’s been a significant update. Then let’s talk about the fact that the video cameras almost NEVER work! If some motion trips it, like leaves on a tree, it takes 3 minutes to reset. A LOT can happen in 3 minutes! And EVER-SINGLE-DAY, my video runs out of memory and conks out with an error message and doesn’t capture anything past that point. I’ve adjusted the area and sensitivity and called tech support, but they can’t help. I’m not sure wth I’m still paying for this garbage. Likely only because I’m too busy to switch (for now)!
Frustrated. The app requires me to sign in constantly. Face recognition doesn’t work for more than a few attempts then I have to sign in with ID and PWD again and again. Very annoying if you are trying to set alarm at night or adjust thermostats.
Won’t log me in. The app keeps logging me out every. Single. Time. It keeps telling me my credentials are wrong when they are not. I’m so sick and tired of this app.

Smart Home - Rogers. Absolute garbage & headache! App never works when I need it & keeps crashing! Customer service says delete the app & reinstall & if I use the door lock couple of time it’s time to change the batteries again ( not able to hard wire it!)
Cannot connect to server. Overall, I am pleased with the system, but this app needs upgrading. Too many times when I attempt to login, the app cannot connect to the server. At least send a message to your subscribers so they are aware that the server is down. Especially when I am trying to arm the house or turn on lights and I can't login it's frustrating. A few times this app has been down from 12am-5am with no notice. Please fix this issue ASAP
App works great!. App works great! All remote functions work smoothly and reliably. If there are issues with connectivity it's typically because of issues with your connection at home (e.g. Internet connection) not the app.
Can’t delete multiple videos. How many years has it been and you still CAN’T delete multiple videos at one time? Come on Rogers, you can do better. If you can’t, then bring back the ability online, instead of trying to charge users for more storage.
Absolute garbage app. This thing signs me out for no reason 66% of the time and randomly makes me unable to sign in the other 34% percent, forcing me to download, delete, and redownload the app again and again until it works This app is as pleasant as Rogers' monopoly over the Canadian industry 🥲
Takes too long to connect. This app needs upgrading. Now, most of the time too slow to connect and seems to forget using face recognition. Would think a communication company would want to showcase they can get technology right.
Login issues. Face ID not working was always intermittent now doesn’t work at all. Reinstalled the app, Face ID worked again for a day before losing it again. Often have to click several times on sign in and then it allows you to enter credentials. These area issues if there was an emergency!
Sign In doesn’t work. The latest app version doesn’t allow sign in. The continue button is not working anymore
Useless half the time. This app always logs you out, half the time it’s not working it’s a joke for all the monitoring fees I pay
Poorly designed. App buffers non stop same with the system mounted in the house. The app logs you out every single time you want to do the simplest thing you have to type username and password over and over again. Now I can’t even sign in. It’s just showing a chat page when I try to log in.
