Difficult to search. I find this site helpful but only if I can find what I’m looking for. I would love to see a broader array of ways to keyword search. For instance, to find upcoming elections in Orange County it would be a lot easier if you could put different combinations of words in and still get the results for which you’re looking. Tonight I never found what I was looking for even though I took word combinations straight from a graphic shown on air. I gave up.

New to area. I’ve watched all other news channels since i arrived from south Florida and stuck with you!! Accurate as my old favorite in wpb!!!

Thank you!. I am so happy this is available now. Since I moved to the Tampa Bay area over a year ago, I have missed my local news stations in Orlando, my beloved home for 19 years. Our town is actually in between both Tampa and Orlando, but considered part of the Tampa Bay Area. Orlando news is relevant to me and my spouse as we travel to Orlando frequently. Seeing all of the familiar faces from the morning, noon, and evening news programs is great too.

Best news reporters. PLUS weather. Accurate.. friendly,,, flub ups and laugh right through um. Acts like family.

Every night at 6. My husband and I love Matt, Tom, Lisa and Ginger. They’re very happy people with a love for all. Not at all judge mental, they always tell the whole true story as they know it.

Teach. It's nice to read the news anytime during the day & it's updated constantly. It’s the main news app I read.

Love the new layout. The app was revamped January 2023 and launches faster and is more intuitive than before. I find myself opening it way more frequently.

Alerts system is terrible, makes a news app worthless. I have had this app for a long time since News 6 is the best news in Orlando…HOWEVER, the alert system has been broken for years at this point and they will not bother fixing it. I only have “Breaking News” alerts on and have turned off all other categories, yet I am receiving constant notifications throughout the day about mundane news. I am finally leaving this review because it’s 2AM and I have gotten about 20 alerts in the last 30 minutes about a rocket launch. I don’t care!!! This isn’t breaking news and it’s the middle of the night. Please fix this!

Stop the Bias. The local stories do a decent job of sharing facts & details in a centered way, but most stories from their parent company (CNN credits at bottom of article) are slanted to the extreme. Stop trying to manipulate the public with one sided content. Just tell us facts from all sides of the story and we'll think for ourselves!

Review of evening team. I really enjoy the evening team at WKMG channel 6... getting results. Lisa Bell, Ginger Gadston , Matt Austin, Jamie Seh and my favorite Tom Sorrells are professional, personable and do a great job presenting news that’s not always so great to hear. I especially love the way they wave goodbye at the end of the broadcast. I don’t watch anyone else.

Review of channel 6. Enough !!! Already Your station has overloaded with getting results. Every person that has a bit including the weather reports uses that. I guess “reporting” accurately is not enough. We are on overload Please cut back to your reporters who do get results!

News 6. Really a very good news channel! I like all of the reporters!

Articles never load. This app is pretty much useless. I could never open an alert because the article never loads or it opens in the main page where you can’t even find the article you clicked. If you can’t access the content, what’s the point of the app?

Decent but worthless for alerts. The app is good at giving local news, but don’t rely on its alerts for breaking stories. They have about 7 different categories that you can opt in or out of notifications (like sports, entertainment, weather, etc.). However, they’re unable to classify notifications properly. I have disabled the programming notifications because I couldn’t care less what will be on the news at various times of day... that’s why I have a news app. Despite disabling the programming notifications, I receive them all throughout the day. So the choice is to receive obnoxious notifications about every single broadcast in addition to meaningful NEWS alerts or to disable news alerts completely. I guess I still need a local news app with meaningful notifications because this one fails.

Local News on 6. I won't watch any other news station. The news crews, Anchors all get along so well, the humorous and genuine personalities all go so well together. Tom Sorrels got me to watch the weather, the other weatherman I had watched in the past had the personalities of a dark dreary boring day. Tom, now he had me laughing interested in his explanations of what is actually happening. The Anchor desk always has fun and it entertains us in between the news. As you can see I could go on forever. Ginger and I both wear our heart on our sleeves and I'm tearing up as she tells the story as she tears up. I ❤️❤️❤️ News on 6!!!

Great job. Just wanted to say love your app and by far the best and informative one in Central Florida’s News Channel’s. Great job Channel 6.

Text not displaying. Please fix the text of the stories not displaying/not loading. I suspect it has something to do with the ads at the bottom of the stories. When the app works correctly it is great. The quantity and variety of the stories is very good. Of the 3 local Central Florida Networks this is best app, followed by the WESH app. The worst designed app is the WFTV News app by far.

Channel 6 Orlando. I watch Channel 6 every day. I trust them. I do wish they would cover Brevard County better. But I still watch them.

Best News App in Orlando. I love the News 6 App. I can easily access the stones and I see many stories I can’t find anywhere else. The News 6 app is going to become my go to source for news when I am away from my television.

My GoTo news. The anchors are friendly and very competent. I trust this station for my news and weather.

Opinion. I like getting updated but I haven’t been able to watch it live on my Spectrum/News 6app when I’m out (?) Otherwise it’s pretty good but I like to watch breaking news. Thanks

News 6. Great application for news, weather, traffic, & etc. for Orlando.

News report. In my 57 years of life I've lived in Miami, Atlanta, and Columbia SC. News 6 Orlando is the best period. They're second to none

Horrible. It is amazing watching this new organization slowly start to push liberal agenda over the years. For instance. Today they published a story from England about a bad cop. How about y’all focus on the greater Orlando area. We have enough issues here without y’all reaching out across the pond to help support that. Where are the reports on Biden and his classified documents. Or why his personal attorneys are handling them. Y’all are really doing some great journalism over there.

Best coverage in FL. Former newsman and meteorologist. These guys know their stuff and report without hype or scare tactics. Tom is a professional you can believe, without being made to feel inferior. He explains events in understandable terms anyone can use. Worthy of your trust.

Best and most up to date news reporting. The news team is excellent and impartial. Most accurate weather reporting and I like the new “zipper” descriptions.

Favorite Local News. I appreciate the local advocacy and up to the minute reporting.

Fla Today partnership bad for Ch 6. Partnering with Fla Today is turning off Space Coast residents to Ch 6. The far left, dying newspaper is out of favor and considered dangerous to the largely conservative Space Coast. It constantly attacks GOP elected officials like popular Sheriff Ivey and is opening the danger of turning the area into another Portland with riots and looting by demanding Ivey release video of an arrested a criminal attacking 7 guards trying to book him into the jail. Brevard residents are turning off Ch. 6

Not enough sports time. Too much repetition on the. 4 pm to 7 pm news. Need to report on air instead of referring To the internet

“Breaking News”. The anticipation of something newsworthy happening is not the same and “breaking news”. You should not be sending alerts notifying me that nothing has happened but something might. THAT is not news.

Accurate news reporting. I appreciate that when I am unable to watch the news on my TV I have a reliable app to always be connected. I can navigate easily to what I am interested in viewing , top stories, my county and weather any many other options. Most importantly I feel confident that what is being reported is accurate .

Chanel 6 Orlando. You have everything at your finger tips. You can find out Up To Date News on your County, State, & National. The only thing I have a problem with is that you use to be able to copy on the weather APP the Weather Alert With Map Path Prediction, but now you can't copy anything on this Radar Alert. Why did you omit being able to copy this option, and weather alert prediction path?

WKMG is getting results with this app!!!. If you live in Central Florida, this app is a must!! It's great for breaking news, as well as everyday happenings in and around Orlando!! This app provides me with important breaking news that I would normally have to wait for the evening news to get. I couldn't live without it!!

Some good, Some bad. There are a lot of things I like about the app, including the way the news is laid out as well as the weather maps. One thing I find very irritating though, if I select a story based on a photo and a headline and then I click the story and that photo is nowhere to be seen? Obviously if I click on that, then I want more information on that photo, so to be able to see the photo associated with the story would be nice. Lastly, it would be nice to be able to zoom in on photos to see the detail better.

Good News Source But Bad App. App doesn’t allow you Air Drop to your TV like WESH does. Would prefer to watch News 6, but like the ability to watch on Tv.

Used to love this. This used to be a great app. I loved being able to keep up with news without having to turn the tv on. But now there are too many ads. It's Quite aggravating to see ads at the top and bottom of the screen. It's very distracting when trying to see the actual news stories. It doesn't make you want to use the business, you get rather tired of seeing the company logos.

Update is an evil joke!. The format of the app is a monstrosity but would you like to hear more? Apparently the interns in charge of this new update (as bad as it is, I hope they are interns) thought there should be only three ways of sharing news articles. Facebook, Twitter, and email. I guess they decided that people wouldn't want to send a link via text message. Who paid you to think? Stop that! You're terrible at thinking! Download this app at your own risk!

Back to normal. This really is a top of the class app. It's updated all the time but you seem to lag on the updates over the weekends. Still think it is great. I upgraded the app on Nov 12th and it will no longer work. I hope you are working on this. Click 6 was one of the best news apps on the market and I do miss it very much. I do hope you are working on this , I will write a new review after it starts again

Good First Alerts. I usually get first alert news notifications from this source on my iPhone, and I am very happy to see them! What is sad is that I live 25 miles from Orlando and 60 miles from Tampa, but I can only receive 1 Orlando (9) channel on my cable, all the rest are from Tampa, and they rarely report news that happens around my NE side of Polk County. I get more news online from Orlando TV channels than Tampa!

Now you have to register. Why even have an app if you go into a story and have to click another link and register to read the story. What a waste of time. I guess I will use WESH or WFTV app instead.

Too easy to click an ad. I enjoy this news app's coverage more than the others, but it's too easy to accidentally bump one of the several several ads, and then I simply turn it off and go to another app! Can you say "tooo many ads? Tooo commercial!?"

Review click Orlando. I absolutely love your news station!! Weather it be live broadcast or click orlando!! Matt and Lisa are a great team!! Tom Sorrels is awesome! Ping is wrong a lot however, you gotta love Ping!!! Click is the 1st to update me on breaking news!! Great job!! However in my opinion Ginger doesn't fit in very well with the team!! Just saying my opinion!!! I love getting on the spot notifications when something is going on. :-)!!! You guys are at least 10 minutes ahead of every other News outlets!! Great job!!
