Here We Go Again. I want to like Action News Jax. But from nearly every commercial being self-promotion for the network, to the history of pushing stories from a clear anti-Law Enforcement perspective (in an effort to stoke tension among the masses), I cannot support this network. Looking for a better option.

Great news comes on time. All the latest happenings are so timely shared! The radar is a big need living here in Florida indeed! love my traffic & weather notifications 100%

Not working. Use to love the app but for the past week, it has consistently said live stream unavailable when it’s 6am in the morning on a week day when I normally watch the news. Wish someone would fix this.

FOX action news. They are great with a lot of local news , both good and bad.

App features Mistepresented. Jax News said app provides crime alerts in your area. It does not. App kept closing while I tried to choose settings. The current temperature is in the 60s. App show 17 degrees. Disappointing.

Doesn’t work on iPhone. With the most recent update I can see that there are news articles but if I click on them I get a completely black screen. It doesn’t work anymore. Tried deleting and reinstalling and no luck. Other news apps still work even my ones for Puerto Rico. Only this one doesn’t work anymore. Deleted now.

Doesn’t open. “This app could not be started“ I get this error every time I launch the app. Started about a month ago. I’ve deleted it and re installed it, but I can’t get the app to open.

Constant issues. Every time I use the app to watch a live feed or earlier broadcast it starts for 2-5 seconds then goes into an ad or commercial and continues to play the same ad repeatedly until I close and restart the app. On live streams it goes into the ad loop until I close the app or until the news segment is about over and about to go into another commercial break. Would be nice to actually see a complete news broadcast on the first try.

Try again. Same ads over and over 45-60 secs long unskippable sometimes, crashes, ad infested, and cnn-like news sometimes

The Best. Action News is the best in town!

iPhone X issue. App does not appear to work on iPhoneX. At first it would just give a blank screen. So I removed/deleted app and reinstalled. Now the app gives a failure to launch error message.

Always professional. The team is always professional in the news they report and their attire on air. Thank you

Sugar coat. Your reporters write stories from a liberal point of view instead of being non bios .just report the facts without injecting your personal feelings

Most Reliable. I find Fox News, Weather, and General Information to be the more accurate of the local stations in my area. The broadcasters and reporters tend to be friendlier, humanistic, down-to-earth, and somewhat willing to find the truth despite public and social media pressure. My only complaint is please don’t forget Baker County. One recommendation is keep improving on tunnel vision regarding Law Enforcement and perception of community/social media — look outside the lens and verify all facts — take emotion out of the equation when situation is volatile and/controversial. App is outdated. All types of issues with this app. Your competitors app is up to date, routinely updated, and works much better. When I click on a notification, then it should send me to that link in the app, not a safari link that attempts to play the live feed.

Great local news weather and sports.. I turn on channel 47 news and weather every morning and evening. You have awesome anchors and meteorologists make your program great.

App does not work correctly. When I get a news alert on my iPhone or iPad Air when I hit the notification it takes me to the home page not the news story that I was just notified. I’ve reloaded the app, powered off my devices and verified that my IOS is correct. There is a bug in the app and it needs to be fixed.

App. It is not current. It has repetitive stories. When a new notification comes on my phone it does not appear on the app. I don’t want to see the same stories over and over and the app is not current

Alright. The only problem is when they give wrong information and you contact the station to correct them the get an attitude... some stuff they report is not correct.. let’s not talk about the pronunciation of words oh boy.. Also giving the correct locations.. they need a history lesson…

Need more in-depth coverage of stories on site. So much more information could be covered in between he stories.

Appreciate this app. I live an hour away from Jax and appreciate the updates thru the app.

Latest update to app. The app does not rotate from portrait to landscape on the iPad since your latest updates.

Way too many Notifications. I want to support the local news, but notifications are too much. The notifications settings in the app don’t seem to work. I turned on just sports and I still get all the click bait “just in” notifications. This app unfortunately is just a an advertising platform

Update needed. I can’t stand this app. I prefer it for my local news but the alerts never redirect to the actual story on the app. And then you spend forever searching for the story to match the very important alert until you forget what you were even looking for. Please update this app. Check out some other new outlets and see what they’re doing. Thank you.

News app. I watch your news regularly and enjoy doing so, but your app is a disaster! Checkout channel 4’s app; I have all three of Jax’s news apps, channel 4 is far and away the best. They keep it current, which is what your app fails to do.

Fox 30 review. So many up-to-the minute notifications that detail coverage all over Jax & surrounding urban areas in Duvall county. My choice in Fast, Honest & Reliable media is Action news Jax/Fox 30 WJAX-TV. Kudos to Everyone responsible. 5corners

I hope I get these tickets however it was my Mom whom wanted me to submit it for her she’s not a text person and this her favorite place she told me when she see thisCommercial on 47Station it warms her heart that life is returning back so she can go to her favorite theme park so if I don’t get the tickets look out we’re coming anyway and we love you 47 News this would be a gift for her 80 birthday

Review. Action News Jax is my “go to” news channel now! I find them to be accurate, factual and entertaining. I like the way Action NewsJax presents the news. Their news is animated and interesting. I like the news personalities as they mesh together quite well. They bring professionalism and ethics in their news coverage. I’m glad I switched and look forward to the 5 o’clock News!

Review Jax. Too much biased reporting….focus on crime….. Why as a news team are you not hammering on doubling gas tax? You know they are getting infrastructure money from the government…..why are you not hitting the city council and the mayor about this? To many Jacksonville citizens are already hurting badly with inflation. Are you FOR the people? You should be doing stories on trash all over Jacksonville streets? All focus from media and elected officials is only about making downtown pretty, but the ugly will still be visible.

Ads. I am not going to be forced to watch the same in-house ad over and over again, before each video. It’s 30 seconds I’ll never get back.

Double videos. Always liked using this app but there was an update/change done to the app and now when watching videos another is playing in the background and I’m not able to see or stop the background video. Please fix this issue so I can actual enjoy the app again.

Can't update this app any longer. I really loved using this app but for the past few weeks or more it no longer allows me to update it, so I reluctantly deleted it. I may try again in a month or so and hopefully by then it may work for me again. 😔

Persecution of my President. I’m sick of the biased reporting that I’ve been getting out a CBS channel 47. Between Gayle King in the morning and Nora O’Donald in the evening all they need is a gas can in a match because all they are is fire starters. You don’t know if I’m black or if I’m white but I am just sick to death of your station and so are a lot of my friends here in Saint Augustine. It would be nice if you didn’t make it so obvious how left you all are. I’m not the only one that’s noticing

Biased. Biased Reporting....only tell one side of every story they cover..... For the most part....They typically find fault with our Police Officers rather than the criminal who breaks the law. They report one found murdered but do not mention they were also involved in in a crime at the time of the murder. Tell the WHOLE story!

Great team playerd. Awesome coverage and love the fact that the weather side helps me nationwide as i am a over the road driver

Review. U keep some stories up forever and stories r not accurate

Too many notifications. Despite having my push notifications narrowly customized, I have received, among other things, on-air contest plugs, daily health updates about a college football coach several states west, and gas prices several states north. Local news team is great, but they’ve lost notification privileges on my phone. I’ll blame corporate.

Updating previous review. This app is actually terrible. Aside from not being able to disable the sports notifications, the sequence of news is awful. When trying to find news that’s not considered a “top story,” it’s nearly impossible. For example, when news broke about a missing child, the entire Top Stories page was full of repeat articles and information with no real updates and there was no way to pull the news about other important things happening in the area simultaneously (shootings, accidents, school lockdowns). I love watching Actions News Jax on TV, but this news app is a poor attempt at keeping the public up to date on local news. It would be nice if a search bar were integrated into the app. Additionally, grammatical errors and typos are extremely common in their articles. The design of the app is also very choppy. Major updating is needed.

Updates. Enjoy the site. Just wish it would be updated more frequently. Sometimes items stay online for a week or more...which is ‘old news’. Also, you need a spellcheck.......have seen many articles with errors in spelling. Especially enjoy the site when out of town....keeps me updated on local news. Keep up the good work.😊

Dead update. The last update has rendered the app totally useless. Message; “App Could Not Be Started” ‘The app could not be started. Please check your network connection and retry.’ Connection is just fine as ALL other Apps work quite well.

A joke!. The folks responsible for the maintenance and support for this application don't take it seriously. This app has been a disaster from day 1 up through this very point. It is a prime example of how far behind ANJ is. I deleted it, and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

Horrible. Please go back to the previous version. This version is clunky and ugly. Plus the alert tone is too jarring. It sounds like the amber alert or somthing. I am uninstalling and I guess I'll try the first coast news app as much as I dislike their anchor staff.

Live tv full of ads. They should be glad someone views the app, yet full blown ads overtake live tv constantly

Left single lane. All the articles are written on a single word on left of the page. I just read a couple of complain and still not fixed....why?

Problem not fixed. I down loaded and installed your latest fix for this sight. The changes did not fix the problem. Back to the drawing board. I hope you get this fixed soon.

CrashCrashCrash and more Crash. I know it's just a minor update needed. Can't read your news or your commercials. Still this is a nice app.

Can't submit a story. I cannot submit a story. After I type everything in, it won't let me scroll down to accept the Terms of Agreement and hit submit!

Won't stay in app. Every time I hit a notification I go to the app then it wisks you to Safari browser to open their own home page. Why can't they just keep you in the app. Very very annoying. Don't recommend but if you get, turn off notifications.

What happened to all the good categories. The last update had different stories in different categories, but now they have old stories and in the US and world category they have stories on the attacks in Paris. A MONTH AFTER THE ATTACKS!!!!!!

Love the news, but. Love 47 news app, especially the live feeds, but wish they would put the recorded version on the app just in case you missed it live.

Lose the ads - too annoying now. Loved this app for local news. Then installed the latest update that "fixed" some issues. Well it seems the fix was to add CONSTANT advertisements that block part of what is already a small screen. You can't get rid of them and they are placed so that when you try to scroll the screen you frequently hit the ad and open a full page ad instead. I'm done with this one. Deleting now.

Great news app. This is by far one of the best news apps out there that goes way beyond just providing news.

Action news jax app. Shuts down every time I open a story, gonna have to find a different app until someone fixes this problem, can't read any story so it's just taking up space on my iPad. Don't know if it's the new IOS 8, having problems on lots of apps.

Great with one flaw. Only news app I use for Jax, but it's one flaw is that when switching to another app and back, it completely reloads to the home page. Leaving the app, mid-article to replay to a text or email or answer a call results in the whole thing refreshing. Hope you saved your place.

Why can't we give negative stars????. The sad thing is that this app has one star. It doesn't deserve even that. If it opens tap any story and it will crash or even crash your iPad. How can a professional TV studio in 2014 release an app this poorly designed and badly coded?

Clumsy at best. Totally clumsy convoluted application. Tried to get news during trying times and couldn't get past advertisements.

Old app was much better. Update 2/18 improving but still not near as good as the old layout. Who really cares about the national feed? We get that from the much better national apps. More local content front and center! Why arent the restaurant reports compiled in their own section on the video tab??? OLD It had a much nicer graphical polish and it had the restaurant report videos which was great because that's local reporting. Regurgitating the national news feed that you already get from much better national news apps is just a waste of time.

Horrible. Pops up alerts all the time. When you tap them just takes you to a home screen with no info on the alert. Deleting.

Scared.... ...to update to the current version. Reviews are terrible. Please read and fix crashing issues, etc. I use this app often but was looking forward to some minor improvements. Update or revert to previous version. I'm giving you 3 stars which is a giant leap above the other ratings you've received. I will revise the rating with the next update.

Won't load. I've been using this app since July. It's never been super user friendly, but now it won't even load. Sits on the picture of the staff (load screen) for 15-20 sec, the. It crashes. Just deleted it. Why waste the space on my device for an app I can't use?

Weather is an hour behind. App used to be awesome an very up to date, NOW for whatever reason weather is always an hour or more behind, which is not helpful in any way.

No news is not good news. I don't think I've seen a new article in 2 days and before that it was not updated frequently. Also, please hire a copy editor. Reading your stories is painful at times. Deleting this app. I guess we'll see if FCN or the FTU finally got their apps together.

Latest Version. The latest version of the app is AWFUL. Try to put some words in, the story rather than just pictures. The latest version is as bad as channel 4

Nice app. This is a nice app. It's very helpful app with keeping up the news and weather updates.

Terrible. Instead of fixing the problems the last update, you added advertisements. This app crashes regularly, it's very slow, just not a good app. I reinstalled several times and it's still bad.

Awful.. There is SO MUCH NEGATIVITY!! It would appear that shootings, killings, car accidents, lockdows, and murder are all so popular and get the top news ratings! I have to keep searching articles containing good and positive info. I'm going to turn off these alerts, both this one and the other local news apps unless things change and soon!

Bring back international news. The app used to have a world news section, but it has since been replaced.

Hot Mess!. The app for the station used to be quite fine but has become a horrible mess which crashes on every new item selection. The situation is compounded with absolutely no advisories about the problems or response in any kind from the app staff. I have written them through various of their station channels and no one has bothered to even acknowledge one of my messages. Everyone working on this app should be led to an exit door. With the failures of communication regarding the app, the management staff should also be terminated. Complete and total app and communication failure.

App is no longer working. What happened to this app? I used to use it everyday throughout the day, and loved it. Why is it no longer working? It's been offline for a couple weeks now.

Useless. Is no one reading the reviews? How long does it take to fix the crashing problem?? It used to be the best news app when you were able to click on a picture then zoom in.... That went away several updates ago, and it's been downhill from then.
