Won’t Work. Just downloaded this and it doesn’t work with my phone.

Horrible. Complete waste

Great substitute for all the metronomes out there!!. I have been using this app ever since I found it months ago. I use it all the time when I don't understand a difficult rhythm passage. It clarifies those same passage by slowing down the tempo, and playing the notated rhythms. I also use this for playing scales faster using triplets, sixteenth notes, etc. If you have trouble reading rhythms, get this app, get all the help you need!! VERY USEFUL!!

Doesn't work. What you tapped in as your rhythm and what plays back are two very different things. Save your money.

I need triplets.... I need to learn triplet rhythms... the app does not include triplets of any kind! I like the concept but the execution is not there because I could not even enter the first phrase I wanted to learn. Also the menu and settings are stuck in an odd orientation and I can’t uncheck the setting that locks that portion

Waste. This was the biggest waste of time and money in recent memory. Bought specifically for tap rhythm function. Works like garbage. Don’t be like me.

Doesn’t work as advertised. This app is nice in theory but is not optimized for iPhone X. Nothing works properly when trying to tap/notate rhythms. I want a refund.

Really?!?. I just paid $2 for this app and it doesn't even have dotted quarter notes! That is so annoying. I would only recommend this app to beginner musicians. More advanced rhythms are not included in this app.

Dr. Rhythm Version 1.3.2 Build 142 by Farnell. This a fantastic app for any rhythm needs. I am a songwriter and I find it very useful for finding the rhythm to my lyrics. also any other rhythms to the song. The newly added quantization with user choices makes it even better. It also saves to .mid file. This app is totally worth buying.

"Tap" In Description Misled Me. I was hoping for an app that would let me tap in rhythms to a metronome using a "pad" button or something similar. The description of the app said "Tap in rhythm from a score..." Turns out you can't do that. What you do is tap the icons for notes and rests. Each time you tap a note or rest, it gets placed in a music staff in the order you tap the icons. You can then play back your creation to see how it sounds. I don't know notes/rests at all, but am very good at rhythm. I wanted a way to translate rhythms to notation so I could see what some of the more complex ones looked like. This app isn't it. Seems to do what it does OK, though it skips beats relatively often - like it got a hiccup or ran out of memory or something. I'm using a 64GB iPhone 4S, so i don't think it's my hardware since there's currently nothing out there faster or with more memory. Oh well...

Won't work. Can only possible give 1 star as it won't even start up on my iPad. May be good on devices it works on but it doesn't work on mine.

Awful. Bought it an hour ago and already down with it. Not worth downloading if it was free, let alone $2. The live rhythm tap section is complete garbage, and works about as well as giving a toddler a drumstick and expecting them to tap out the correct rhythm. Take a pass, save your money.

Absolutely Great!. I love this app! Small learning curve, and we are off to the races! Would love to change pitches on the notes, but will settle for accurate rhythm notation!

Waste of money. No real functionality in this app. Don't waste your money

Full kit drum staff but cannot write specific kit rhythms. Looks promising but I don't think you can actually write a full drum sequence. Playback arbitrarily chooses instrumentation for the rhythm you enter. Great for testing/charting out a rhythm but not good if you think you can write a full drum part. Easy to use and get started though. While the previews display a full drum staff either I can't figure out how to write a simple kick/snare/hat progression or it doesn't exist. I recommend they remove the full drum set staff until that feature is available or add that capability (or make it easier to access if it already exists).

Terrible app. This app is overly complicated and doesn't have flams or rolls. Complete waste of money.

Terrible App. Echo other bad reviews....Tap in rhythm section is horribly inaccurate. Not even close to useable. Other features just as bad. I want a refund. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible!

waste of money and time. paid $2 for this and it doesn't even work like it says it's supposed to. save yourself the time, effort and money and just figure out the rhythms on your own. do not get this.

You’re kidding.. Just bought this app only to discover that it’s not up to date and won’t work with the current iOS. Very frustrating.

Good start needs accents. Great rhythm trainer and composer only thing lacking is the ability to program accents and dynamics so you can hear a rhythm as written by a composer. Also a swing function would be nice to hear a jazz style or Brazilian style of playing of the pattern you are trying to learn

Useful To Learn Rhythm. I found this tool invaluable in learning the more complex (straight or swing), 16th note rhythms. I found I could work within its limitations and improve my timing! It would be nice to have an iPad version. Recommended. M

Great for those struggling with rhythms. This is the app for anybody who can't get the rhythm right for a certain phrase. Ideal for young musicians or new musicians. Just set the time signature, tempo, and add the notes. It can play the rhythm with or without a metronome accompaniment. Other rhythm apps give you a set number of rhythms, but this app lets you put in a rhythm you have trouble counting through, like dotted sixteenths. Note: Doesn't do pitches. Also: Separate slurs.

Awesome music app. Great for those who want to improve their sight reading and rhythm skills. App not displaying properly on new IOS though. Please update.
