A great reference and calculator.. Just got it. Love it already. Love the leeway calculator.

Key equipment. This app is what every boater needs, terrific!

OK. One significant issue with propeller sizing: it fails to take gear ratio into account so the result is that the recommended propeller size is much larger than necessary.

Captain. Very good basic tool for general sailing. Unfortunately it does not have yet a True Wind Calc which would be very useful for sailing in any environment. Have to say the Air Pilot Calc has it.

No bad. Not bad app for boating. It would be nice to be able to change some of the consumption rates in the fuel flow calcs. I was looking for a vmg calc. It does not have one. A vmg calc would be a nice addition.

Everything it claims to be. This app is all it claims to be and more! Exceptionally great quick reference program. Why try to remember formulas and have notes jotted all over when this app remembers everything you'll need for you? For only $2 I can't imagine any boater not wanting this great reference on hand!

Great app!. This was a great app before the newest version, but it is now outstanding! This is the first review I have written for any app, and I have several hundred, many of which I've deleted after not finding them useful or them being the best of a category. This newest version of the app just does so much, and the UI is beautiful and elegant.

Why more info then I thought.. Had it just for a short while now, no crashes. Opens every time and has way, way more info then I ever thought it would have.

Boating calcs for the USA only. This app is USA centric, and is not particularly useful to the rest of the sailing world. As examples, the only base times to convert FROM are the four US zones... Hello! Conversions of fuel consumption do not include the european/rest of the world figure of litres per 100km. I could elaborate - but this app needs a lot of work before it is sold outside the US mainland.

Well Done!. I am a professional seafarer, so I know whereof I speak. I am quite impressed by the information contained in this app. While the information is primarily aimed at boaters, rather than seafarers, and in many cases the definitions and information is new to me, it is very rational and sources are given. Well done, Double Dog! If I had one recommendation to make. It would be to expand the content to include information for rookie seafarers.
