Nobody does it better. Anything these guys do is great. I have owned numerous TC Helicon products and they are always my go to company for cutting edge vocal tools.

Awesome. Really great for the little guy. An inexpensive way to make good-sounding music with almost no equipment. Not only is it great music in all seriousness, it's lotsa fun when you've got nothing else to do. Good job :)

Amazingly well thought out and designed.....fun as hell too!. For a version 1.00 app, this thing is amazingly well thought out and designed. It's also REALLY fun. I've been looking for this for a LONG time. It works flawlessly. Having the tutorial built into the app is a great touch. These guys are REALLY talented designers and get it. If you're a musician....even if you're not....you'll have fun with this.....get it before the price goes up!

Gets you started.. The app has good functionality. Minor bug is about a half second silence when the loop is about to reset. Maybe fix that. You get three pickup effects: reverb, distortion, and echo. Echo won't stick to the channel on which you record, the effect only lasts for as long as the pickup is turned on. For the most part, a fun way to be creative with your voice.

in all fairness. ..i posted a rant a few days ago and I want to be fair about the app.I have nearly completed and entire project using the app..but...when I updated on both the ipod touch and ipad I began to have serious issues with me putting in a lot of time recording and having to reinstall the app,thus losing work...I must say though that this is probably the best app as far as the freedom you have in instantaneously being able to record and get your ideas down..my fav new feature is the mpc style pattern play...excellent for old school hip hop style production just hope they fix the "no input response"and crash issues..if functionality improves Ill rate it 5 stars hands down.

Did I really write the first review?. This app gas greatly improved since the update. If the recording time limit were removed altogether, the app would approach perfection. It would also be nice to be able to export a performance as an mp3.

Audiobus please!. Great app but we need audiobus to get instruments in and more fx.... Also there is no way to UNmix two channels without hitting undo before leaving a mixed node. That limits playability... Happy with purchase and also the auto tune is a nice gender changer. Now just need chorus!

Quality & Easy. The live sound and recorded sound of loops work very well for harmonizing with myself. Better than my experience in years past with Garage Band.

WAS SUPERB. NOW HORRENDOUS.. This is what you get when a developer stops TRULY supporting their apps and ignores the MASSIVE bugs that have been in the app for years. Fancy losing an entire song before you upload it to Soundcloud (the only means of exporting on Voice Jam)? How about experiencing ENORMOUS, PERMANENT tempo changes that not only speed up your track - when you load it up once again - but have you in Chipmunk Mode? Sure...you can upload to Soundcloud immediately after laying a song down, to avoid this... But why go through the pain when there are far better loopers on the App Store. The even “better” news is that their companion app - VOICE RACK - with all of its “amazing” vocal effects...is even worse. More bugs than a Presidential Campaign Office. Completely uselsss in every respect. And don’t bother writing to TC Helicon support either. You’ll simply get a polite email explaining that the App is no longer supported. But they WILL leave it up on the App Store of course - knowing full well what a bug-infested piece of trash they are peddling. Shameful behavior from a company that once prided itself on delivering excellence.

Awesomely Fun!!!. A little confusing to use at first but do the tutorial and you'll be fine

Reverb fx. Well, I bought the new Reverb in-app, and I dislike the presets, as the only possibility of choice. Why can a great developer like you do not give us the basic simple- Level, tune, swell bottoms? Preset can be as an extra thing to plugins, but not the only choice! Come on! Do it! Give us the best! You give us the best looping app ever, and then you give us such a limited reverb! Waiting for an upgrade pleas!

Avoid. WAS good, now GARBAGE. Why? No updates. No support. Buggy. Doesn’t even connect to AirPods when the iPhone shows the AirPods are in fact connected.

Wireless problem. The app is lacking a wireless headphone update. With the new iPhones you can't use the app properly.

..... This is the worst user interface of any app I've owned. The only reason I didn't give it one star is because I've seen what other people can do with it but after going through the tutorials multiple times I still have no idea how to work anything. Wish I didn't spend the 7 bucks.

Absolutely love this. I absolutely love this app. And I can't even sing. It makes me sound like I can lol... Mixes sound real. I was actually at a show and they were looking for the background singers ...and at the press of a button they were there... And it was me singing. At the live show I made up something on the spot and they couldn't believe it lol!! This app freaking rocks!!!!!!

Struggling. Tutorial promises a trash can... none anywhere on the iPhone even though the help shows it. It's on the iPad though. Only way I found to delete is to first save, then go back in to load, but instead swipe & delete. Whatever you do, don't touch the 2x button! The only way I found to reset back to the shorter rate is to do the delete as above, or to start a new session from the save menu. Went to the web site & read the PDF manual. Didn't find anything helpful. The app works well outside of those issues. They're a bit frustrating, gotta admit, especially when the app doesn't even match the screen shots

Charging for updates seems greedy. I have hundreds of applications on my IPad and this is the first time that a developer hypes up improvements to their ap only to want to charge you for them. I was an early adopter and it just seems greedy to me. I love TCH products, I have a Voicelive 2 but I am surprised that they are taking this approach.

No air pod support. With iPhone going 100% Bluetooth is hard to expect and application that only requires all wired headphones in order for the application to work to its peak performance. Enabling wireless headphones would greatly increase the users experience considering most phones don’t offer wired headphones any longer especially Apple phones

A Great Vocal Looping App, once you learn the controls! More options, please?. my title says it all. watch some demo videos to get the idea of how to use it I wish for more options, such as the ability to DIRECTLY transfer my sound files through itunes ( as most apps allow ) instead of HAVING to use SoundCloud and such ( though it's great to have that feature too. )

Made for performance. Once you get your head around the interface, it becomes apparent that is a legit performance tool. Rather than just start and stop of loops, you can mix and fade phrases which seems to be a limitation of other loop apps. The included effects are a treat as well.

Voicejam is cool. If you have an overdub replace type thing happenin dont panic just hit the wrench and turn the setting all the way right and you will hear the loops you have recorded previously. I had an issue here. This app is getting better! Ultimate thing would be import of audio material from other sources ie pasteboard. Mixing of loops within a "loop" somehow...? Although i have no suggestions as to how this is done lol so.... If you are a creative musician who likes to beatbox, sing, or try ideas this is for you!

Fun and easy. I woke up at three in the morning with words and a tune in my head I downloaded voice jam and was able to really define it very cool

Great experience. Does everything I would want it too. Has a good tutorial, and is easy to use.

Best app for songwriters and musicians. This is absolutely the best app I've ever used. I've never had as much fun making music as I have with this app. Better than every other looper, by far. Record vocals and sounds and switch to beat mode and use the app as an instrument. It's amazing. Only suggestion is for a Release-Trigger mode so a sample will only play if your finger is on it and release when you release the button.

Despite the Other Reviews. So, I was skeptical about buying this app due to all the other reviews, but it really wasn't as bad as people made it out to be. Yes, the user interface could use some work, but the sound quality is decent and it is a very fun app to use. The extra payment for the effects is a bit questionable. Although, you don't really need them to enjoy the app. For all those that said it was a waste, I really don't know where they are coming from. It's $7. Don't expect Protools or Logic express. Expect an off the shelf app and maybe you might have hours of fun like I did.

Really cool app!. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, if you want more options, yes you have to purchase them. This is a great little multi-layer looper. I use it for guitar ideas too.

???????????. I think people like funpoint666 are confused. The app is definitly free. And extremely fun. There are in app purchases for voicechangers. Which you certainly do not need to have fun. Ive made rediculous beats and songs already. Definitly my new favorite app. You just need to take some time to understand how an app works before furiously rating one star. 👉👌

Demo looked great. But after 15 mins on step two of the tutorial, it doesn't recognize my mic and there's no information in the set up to activate the mic. Furthermore restarting the device doesn't help you reactivate the mic and their online documentation doesn't even have a troubleshooting section. At this point requesting a refund.

Super!! Is there a punch-in foot switch?. I want to punch in while playing guitar. Maybe add a foot switch peripheral via the dock connector. I'd pay extra.

why doesn't it work anymore??. I had this app on my iPhone 5 and I loved it so much! I upgraded to a 6s and now the recording plays back in horrible quality! please update so I can use your app again!!!

Suggestion to the developer.. Add a metronome with it's own tempo adjustment settings. Add a master tempo settings slider button to quickly speed up or slow down entire recording. Add a reverse feature to the 2x button, to speed back up the recording time.

awesome but. Great app! Does record but the only thing I find trouble with is deleting maybe two layers of music, as opposed to only being able to delete one or the whole track and start over. I would also like for there to be an option to record from an audio track (song) and add to it. As well as being able to delete bits and pieces of something if you don't like it .

Cool app!. This is a really neat app! I love that the effects are included. I'm already a TC Helicon user, so I trust their products. Love the tutorial. It is very detailed. I would like the dials on the effects to be easier to use. You can't see them under your fingers. Overall, I'm still very new to looping, but I've always wanted to learn how to do it right and this app is great for the practice without jumping in and buying expensive equipment before I'm ready.

CRASH!. I like this app, but it crashes immediately after updating. Turning iPod 5g w/iOS 6.1.? off and on to clear RAM didn't make it work. Please fix ASAP!

I can't believe they sell it for so cheap. Listen, I started off about 4 years ago using a Boss RC 50 to create music by way of beatboxing. I sold it after using the TC Helicon's Voice Jam app. I was able to combine it with Garage Band and take my imagination a lot further. I use it on stage weekly for live performances. And it's portable! So I make music wherever I go!

IT is Ok, still a long way to go.. I honestly expected more from such a great company (TC Helicon). They make wasome vocal technology products yet this app is far from satisfiying. Reasons are: The bad: 1. No loop volume control (fade feature has very little presision) 2. no way to rerecord a loop unce is under a layer 3. sound quality is disapointing compared to Looper (Looper uses limiting and compression to enhance input signal and avoid excess background noise, and I am using headphones) 4. Excess background noise (reprhased to make more clear) 5. No metronnome 6. Very hard to accurately punch in and out because the record button activates when you first touch it instead of when you take off your finger. (check looper) The good: 1. Tape record feature makes it have a great potencial 2. hability to quikly move beetween loops makes it great for performance I write all of this because TC Helicon is for me a very good company and I expect that they take action in making a great product just like their hardware ones. It doesn't record my voice. I've tried everything possible, every setting, even deleting the app and re installing it, even have gone as far as to buy an earbud with a microphone attached. It doesn't work at all and it never records my voice. I also have other applications that do work and I can even record video regularly so I don't see what the problem is. I have an ipad 2 so it should be compatible. Please help or give me my $6.99 back.

Good but it’s missing one thing. I really like this app and all the features has to offer. It’s one of the best looping audio apps I’ve ever used and it’s definitely worth the money. But one thing I am particularly confused about is why you can’t import audio from this app to GarageBand. I use GarageBand sometimes for making music but it’s not good for looping. A feature for importing audio clips from this app to Garage Band is the only thing this app is missing for me. Otherwise I’d recommend thing app.

Disappointed!. Waste of money.... Don't buy it, you can do the same looping and over laying with other apps that are way easier and free to work with.

almost everything I need. great for jamming on your own. the only feature thatsmissing is the ability to play two loops simultaneously without mixing them. otherwise it's great.

Must have. I have an iPhone 3G and it works perfectly. I got the c1 autotune thing and it is perfect for when I want a different sound. I haven't experienced any crashes from this app personally and this from an iPhone that crashes alot from 4.2.1. I love just randomly making sounds, and the tutorial is easy to do, unless your and idiot... :D

I don't even know..... Like two minutes into using this app it just stopped working. The loops kept skipping back to the first part without completing and then the sound turned off all together. Now I can't even hear my loops. I don't understand. This app is 7 dollars, it's definitely on the higher end of the app store's price range so why does it look and feel like a poorly developed, under-funded app?

Want it to work!!. I love this app so much. Used it on my old iPhone 4s. Upgraded to a 6s and downloaded the app to the new phone but every time I record it always plays back crackly. Is this common? I checked to see if it was my phone. When recording sound through other apps the playback sound quality is crystal clear. Why Voice Jam, why? You're so awesome. How do we make it work? Please!

Super Fun!. Honestly, the app is user friendly AND fun. The microphone pics up a lot on my iPhone 5S and I had a cool vocal loop going after about 5 minutes of tutorial and 5 minutes of messing around. Great job! This Super fun app will definitely stay on the phone!

Sigh 😒. Ever since I updated the app, it keeps crashing. Also every time I try to restore my vocal effects, it keeps crashing...? Fix this asap, seriously. Because of you don't then you made your customers pay for nothing...

Lost everything!. I created a voicejam which I worked extremely hard on and was very proud of. I saved it and that was fine. I quit the application once and came back to it to listen and it was still a-okay but upon closing and reopening it later, the app crashed and I LOST EVERYTHING! I was actually about to share the song when the app crashes and it erased itself. I was devastated to say the very least.

no trash can. This is an absolutely useless app, as you can't trash anything. Waste of money!!!!! Completely hopeless not to get this right, want my money back!!!

No good. Mic didn't work but it works fine on the lite version.

Fun, accurate, useful, great features.. This app is fantastic, easy to use and enjoyable. Obviously you need to use your headphones to get anything that sounds good done. I use it a lot to make loops using my voice then record songs from 1-3 mins. It's very effective I just need to get good at it! Songs can be made in 5 mins if you're good with lyrics and freestyling. Love it! One suggestion - an upload/share feature that does not require online (i.e. a way to transfer from iPhone to Computer (I did not find any other way than to upload). Thanks TC! :)

Good. It's alright! But only for fun it is extremely difficult to get a song out of this. If I could go back in time I wouldn't get it.

Very cool!. Great for messing around with! Just wish there was a way to set some sort of pedal up rather than having to press the screen with your finger (makes it difficult to record guitar riffs)!

Fun. A very fun quick app to use. It does crash every now and then. Hope that gets fixed. Also would love just even a light reverb on the sound! Otherwise this is a very interesting app and has lots of potential! It is quite inspiring and makes looped recording oh so accessible once you've gone through the quick and fun tutorial.

Jammers unite!. Want a cool app so u can record new melodies, rifts, etc on the move? Even do a complete composition with rhythms, backing, words, harmonies etc. this app is it (and a bit). use only yr own voice or use real instruments; the choice is yours. You can now compose anywhere!

My favorite app. This is my favorite app. I have a loop pedal I paid close to $1000 dollars for and this does more for a whole lot less. My next plan is to use it on stage.

Great with update. Thanks for fixing the crash and also adding mic monitor mute -makes it a cool tool to be able to use live now. A super looper in your pocket!

Fun new app. I just bought this and it is really cool. Easy to use and fun to make songs! Worth the price.

Its pretty cool. It's a great lil app. There's just one thing, when I uploaded through audiopaste, I was let down by the 30 second maximum loop time, but that's the only downfall for me. Longer recording time in one loop, up to a full song length would be great, it would make it more producer friendly. I still love the app though...

Steady improvements. Once I figured out you have to enable the microphone from the privacy setting in ios7, things worked great! Fx now included which is cool, especially gender bending and tpain. Still only 1 minute looping time -- though rarely need more. Audiobus please!

Best app on my iPhone - beyond a doubt. As a guy who performed in an A Capella quartet for over 10 years, this app is my dream come true. I can do almost anything with this amazing app in only a few minutes of laying tracks. And then the real fun begins of having my own pocket back up band! Nothing short of blowing my mind. This app is very well produced, I've had no problems at all. Excellent buy.

Poor quality, horrible distortion. I am very disappointed in the quality (or lack thereof) from the likes of TC Helicon. This app results in audio that is so horribly distorted with each sound loop you add that it renders it useless. What a waste of money. Shame on TC. If you are looking for a good looper with far superior sound, check out Everyday Looper. It blows this joke of an app away. Also, I am very suspicious of these other reviews, given what I have experienced. And yes, I did use headphones. The app is subpar.

Not worth $6.99. Should have been $1.99. First off the app always starts with the tutorial, which is cool at first, but I got it now go away! Keeps popping up, found no menu button to turn off. Secondly you cannot track more than 1 loop. Would be so cool if you could mix the loops together since it's the same tempo anyway! But nope. There's a few more quirks including the major fact that you can email, text or airdrop. Sound cloud and audio copy only. Really? Music should be spread easily. I shouldn't have to buy more apps to convert just to send a nice 2 minute solo to my gf. Crazy stuff guys. Really cool app otherwise but really failed on the basic stuff. Disappointed. Will erase app and eat my 7 bucks now for dinner... Ugh!!!

Feature missing + current build issue?. Hi, i love your app idea but for this build 1.2.60 build 17, I noticed on my iPhone 5 iOS 7 that the "trash bin" feature in the voicejam is missing (I paid for the $6.99 version) Also when I record several audios on one loop, the waveform becomes really distorted and all I hear is static noise, even though the sounds I am adding to the loop are not of such nature.

Terrible feedback. No matter what I do I cannot get the terrible feedback to stop on any single loop (vocal or otherwise). I've tried using headphones, without headphones, adjusting the mic to headphone setting but it all includes so much feedback it's not even usable.

Cool app . UPDATE: thank you soo much for the updates esp. Being able to record without headphones !!!  Just bought and installed this nifty lil app an hour ago and lovin it ! The built in tutorial got me rolling in about 5 min . The app is really cool and can be hours of fun if youre not tone deaf, otherwise it can very quickly turn in to Schoenberg. Since im not affiliated with t.c. and like many others want even more than i paid for , below is a short list of things that i thought would help this app be even better . - ability to play and hear without wearing headphones (through the internal speaker but loud , its very quite even at max volume) - a built in metronome atleast when wearing headphones (id say this is crucial to have since in my case im not as tight as i wish i was :) - a note for refference pitch (i made my whole first composition in a strange arabic key , somewhere between D and D#) - some sort of pro screen that would allow one to set start and end time of a recorded loop , like a simple trim function. Sometimes the loop i recorded was good but i pressed the rec off button too early or too late, and screwed it all up when i could have recorded a beat more and chopped off the extra beat exactly wher it makes a perfect loop. - a volume of some sort for a recorded parts because it all starts distorting after layering a few overdubs on top of each other or atleast a db display showing if im too hot and how much headroom ive got left. - to be totally greedy a few effects would be priceless... Is a simple autotune too much to ask for :)LOL Over all this is a great app and im sure everyone will enjoy it ! (as an owner of an iphone id like to admit that this is the first app i bought at the app store) thanx guys at t.c. Helicone from me :) - midiscore 

Has changed how I write songs. I got this app just after its release and have adored it since. Previously I had written mainly instrumental music, always planning on adding vocals but was I was often unsatisfied with my voice. Since getting Voicejam I almost exclusively build songs with vocals first and sometimes nothing but. The addition of the new effects and every update has made it better and better, putting I up there with the greatest looping apps. Thanks, TC Helicon, keep it up!

Good app. Takes a little getting use to but if you watch the tutorials it helps to understand how it works. A little longer recording time would b nice.

Voicejam is great. If an app can make me sound good (well, okay, sound better), that's something! Great fun for the price.

Fix it!!!. I had to delete this app to do the update on my phone. I loved it! It was my favorite app!! I downloaded it again and now it's not picking up any sound at all!!! Headphones or none!! Fix it please and I will be more then happy to put a five star review on here.

Great! and some ideas.... This app is one of my two iPhone necessities (w/ nanoloop being the other). It was an app I never expected or even hoped for as I was using 4track apps do make those weird vocal jams I liked to make, thinking nobody else did. Saw this hit the store and snatched it. Got used to timing it and using the features, and now have some feature requests. And an obligation to give this app a review - THANK YOU guys for this one!! FEATURE REQUESTS: A mic-off button. I want to play my patterns into Ableton while working, to allow for more flexibility and the ability to combine other instruments etc. But while playing patterns into the computer, any sound around me wrecks it. Extra environment noise is added. All easily fixed with a mic on/off button, which could be coded in a heartbeat. I honestly wouldnt mind the env noise except I have 3 children. There is NEVER quiet "ambiance". lol Please please get that one in. For the future I'd love to see volume control and fx added. The fade out feature I dont like - sometimes after painstakingly crafting a loop, my touch to copy it causes it to fade. oops. no undo. Trigger saving after every one became reaction, but a simple volume slider replaces fadeout... but allows fade back in and balancing as well. Thanks for a brilliant app! Hope to see the updates, but even without them, this one rocks!

Poor performance. Poor performance, didn't live my expectation. Lots of app crashes, weird sounds. I have had the app for 9 months, bought it looking at a demo, unfortunately, it was misleading. Save yourself time don't spend money on the app.

Love It!!!. Great app! Now when I have a song and rythym in my head I can make a quick recording of it. If there is a way to modify each looped track then that would be really awesome!

Almost Awesome. This app is a super cool concept and almost a good execution. You definitely can’t skip the tutorial to figure it out and you may have to do it a couple more times until you get it (still not entirely sure I know what all you can do on the thing). I do have some COMPLAINTS/ SUGGESTIONS that i think would improve the app though. 1. Bar Count Selector/Metronome/Count In: As is, the app is great for creating weird voice recordings and laying vocals, however, it is not that great for layering instruments because you have to use your hands to start/stop recording. When you have to hit record on the phone, then play guitar, then stop playing to hit the stop recording button, it creates a pretty ugly silent period in the song and does not loop well. One way to fix this would be to be able to have a countdown at the beginning and a way to cut the silent part of the loop off at the end of the recording once you finish recording. A BETTER way to fix it though (which I think would make the app waaaaaay more desirable/be taken more seriously by serious musicians) would be to have a built in metronome that you can hear but that does not get recorded, a way to choose your tempo, and a way to choose the number of bars (1,2,3,4s) that you would want in each “orb” (similar to the “2x” button….If you had this OPTION, you would be able to fool around and have fun on the app with vocals and all like you can now OR you could try to make a more serious recording. It would also be HUGE for songwriter to be able to play their chord progressions, put them loop, and then fool around on the guitar to find a good picking pattern that goes with the chord progression. It would help solo artist be able to kind of have a one man band. 2. Play Multiple Orbs at Once: After going through the tutorial, i think that there is a way to listen to one recording and record on another orb without recording them on the same track. That being said, it seems like, in order to listen to them both at once, you have to combine them eventually (?). It seems very complicated. I wish that for each orb, you could either record or just play it and that they could stay separate. Seems like that would be an easy thing add. 3. More Sonic Effects: ones for voice, guitar, etc. 4. Simplified Interface: more elegant, less distracting background, easier to see buttons, easier to understand what you are doing, label the orbs 5. Better Undo Button: Be able to see a list of like the past few things you did and then select which one you want to undo 6. Drum Pad: this one is a long shot, but a built in drum pad would take this thing to next level (especially if you had the option to record your own sounds) 7. Collaborate with Garageband: don’t know if this would be possible, but if this app on iPhone and garageband on MacBook could kind of be one with each other and you recorded using both, that would be pretty cool. With some work I really think that this app could be one of the best to record music with on the whole App Store. While Garageband for iPhone does have a lot of features and does more than VoiceJam will probably ever do, I personally feel that there are too many features for such a small device and think that, with some changes, VoiceJam would be a more fun, more creative, and easier way to record music. And honestly, it could maybe even rival some of the expensive equipment that many artist’s use for performances that feature looping. This app is so close to being so so awesome. Thanks for making it!

OMG. Okay, best app I've EVER gotten. I've always wanted to do something like this and this app is perfect for it. Its even better with headphones that have a mic. You need Need need this app. I could spend hours on it!

Scratchy Sound...!?. I saw a video on youtube about people mixing their voices and making SFX and when they added all together IT WAS SICK! But when I buyed it, as soon as I record my voice and I play it back.... It sounds very scratchy as an my mic is broken, tried it on another device and it still did it.... Waste of money here. Not rating 5 stars till it gets fixed. PS I was reading some reviews and other people like me have the same problem.

Keeps freezing. Cool app. It gets only 1 star from me because I keep having to delete it and re-install as it keeps freezing on me. I get some cool tracks recorded, but lose them as soon as it freezes!!!! Very frustrating. Gotta go re-install app. again!

Was it foolish?. Of me to assume this app would have some vocal fx, pitch correction, or even compression being that it was made by tc helicon? I guess I was expecting a refined version of Improvox... It's just a looper, minimal is certainly the word for it. Still love my voice-correct pedal, but none of it's magic made it's way to this app. The demo video is great-- if you're as good as that guy you should be able to get some usable results. Me... Notsomuch...

Great but....... 5 stars but the volume is very low compared to other apps and functions on my iPhone. With the phone volume all the way up you can barely hear the tutorial or the recording. For the next rev fix this and add a voice trigger to start record and auto stop record when input stops. This would be easy for the smart folks at TC!

Fun right out of the box. First try, my meowing cat and I collaborated on an excellent song. I titled it, "Feed Me".

Another app that doesn't transfer. 1. No effects, Effects that you have to pay for?? 2. Interface is not as user friendly as T.C. H tutorial says. Undo function only good for last step. 3. I want my money back.

Not free. They ask you to buy the app as soon as you try to use it. Rip off. Misleading. I would probably buy this app but I hate sneaky greedy people.

Don't buy on iPhone or iPod. A) Once you hit the 2x button there's no turning back. B) There's no trash can button. C) Recorded once now the app doesn't accept my microphone which my iPhone recognizes.

This is a great app but.... This is a great app but two things that would make it better is the volume of the app on the iPhone and the sharing part of the app I would love to be able to just send it straight to my friends email or if I don't know there email text it straight to there phones so that they can here what I made to.

Great app!. A must-have for all singers.

Cool design, hoping for more. I would like to see the ability to sequence loops. For songs that are repetitive this app is great. However for songs that have verses, a chorus, and a bridge, this is not easily done without running out of loop stores. Recording a long melody can be done, but in addition to this I want to record a long harmony to go with it, and that can't be done.

Crackly sounding iPhone 6s. I had this on my 5s and loved it! However on my 6s it plays back with crackly sounds . Need to update?

works the first time. Wow - works once and then not again...and then click on the VoiceJam support link from here and get a Error 404 - I don't think they have worked out all of the bugs yet :(

Needs update. Please fix the time length to unlimited every time I cover a song for YouTube it's a problem and add more adjustments with audio sound like a echo stuff like that I love this app it's just time it adds things

Terrible. $7 and it comes with no FX. You get the app then have to pay more once you have it. Awful

a lot of potential - still room to improve. I bought the three loop apps that I had read about, and I am in the process of comparing them. They are: VoiceJam, Everyday Looper, and Loopy2 (it may be called just Loopy). They are all good and any one of them would be cool to use - and worth the price. VoiceJam has the advantage of being able to buy hard tuning (like they use on Glee) and reverb - though admittedly those options are pricy in-app purchases. Voicejam also allows you to continually double the length of the track to get longer tracks. I also like the undo buton. On the negative side, VoiceJam doesn't seem to be able to play all 6 of the available loops at once, and it is a bit of a pain to adjust the volume on the fly of each track. It also isn't quite as intuitive to use, doesn't seem to have a metronome, and doesn't seem to be able to count in to start a new part. Everyday Looper has very intuitive controls. It only has 4 loops on the ipod or iphone, but on my iPad it has 6 like the other apps. It doesn't seem to do overdubs on the fly - though, like all three apps, you can merge tracks. E.L. also doesn't allow you to change the length of the loop once it is set. Loopy seems to have the best controls and abilities of the three. Intuitive controls, track merge, track overdub, easy volume controls on the fly, and it lets you not only continually double the length of the track, but also continually halve it - very useful for making shorter parts. As a Looper, it is my favorite so far - it only lacks an undo button - and it doesn't have hard tuning or reverb - which might be reason enough to use VoiceJam if you like those effects. Having bought all three, I will continue to experiment with each of them, and keep my eyes open for how each one is improved with updates. It is certainly possible that I have missed some features in any of these three - though I have carefully worked my way through their tutorials. So my recommendation - buy all three. If you only want to get 2, get Loopy and VoiceJam. If you are only getting one - Get Loopy, unless you really want to pay for the hard tuning or reverb.
