Payment History not loading. Why is it that you cannot access past payments any longer through the app under the history tab?

Cross Border Account. I tried to use this app to transfer monies from my Canadian Account to my US Account and I could not transfer the monies. It seems like I have to link my US Acoount which I tired to do but I get an error message. So I tried to enroll and when I tried to enroll I get a message saying I am already enrolled. Please fix this. Thank you.

Worst bank. After two years I still cannot link my USA based rbc account into the app to see balances.

Can’t link US accounts. App is great overall, however you can’t link your RBC Georgia accounts. It’s weird because at first the app is able to detect which US accounts you have open, but entering your username/password fails with “we’re experiencing technical difficulties.” Would be really helpful to have access to my US accounts in the app since the US branch doesn’t have a specific app. Having to do everything in the browser is a drag. And no, I’m not calling a random phone number for this to go nowhere

Login experience is broken. The app doesn’t do face or password login after not using it for a week or so. It gets stuck spinning or on the login screen refusing to accept the password I’ve set it to a week ago. Tried calling support but they just reset password. The app itself is great once you can login.

Broken (doesn’t open at all on iPhone X running iOS 13.2.3). App crashes on launch on iOS 13.2.3 with an iPhone X. Can’t get past splash screen. 👎

US linked accounts have never shown in app. US linked accounts have never shown in app. They are already LINKED to my account but the app just won't show the accounts. always says that there is an error or technical issues.

Was good until I moved. Was a good app initially. Had some issues connecting my RBC US account with my Canadian one. Have been receiving error messages for weeks. Nothing has been fixed. It used to work until I moved to the US. Now I cannot reconnect my accounts. Kind of a pain. Makes me want to port my funds to a US based bank.

Resetting monthly budget in new feature. What is the point of releasing a new NOMI feature for budgeting if it is not fully functional? I was able to successfully set my transportation budget once. Now I cannot remove it or update it, after spending some time looking for how to even do this from the app settings. Really disappointed in the lack of foresight from developers and QA that implemented this feature, please consider patching this bug or rolling back until it works properly.

Ok for banking. Lousy for Direct Investing.. Ok, so the banking functionality works. I have two other banking apps and this is in the middle of the pack. The Direct Investing portion of this app is terrible: screen navigation and reporting of useful information are the awful standouts. For instance, you can’t just return to the previous screen - you go almost all the back to the original screen ( which has at least as much real estate focused on trading with points as anything else ). Security details - it takes a lot of work to see current price. Work on this app, please!

Pay vendors on mobile. I cannot pay vendors on mobile so I need to always login from the web to do that . Why can’t it be so simple like interac I have Authentication on, so if I log in with my mobile web and authenticate with my mobile app, I lock my account as a fraud. Two times in one week and I had to walk to the bank to prove I am the owner of my business account. Business account feater really needed is the ability to pay vendors on the go!

Doesn’t show RBC US cards.... Which is a pretty big flaw. Also no way to customize what accounts to show in the quick view.

Good app, with some issues on the widget. I like the app globally. It’s stands out from the other banks. BUT. The Account Preview widget works on and off. It often asks to “Sign in again”. But signing in does not repair, the message keeps showing.

Not sure what is wrong with the app. I cannot login in my account. I share password between the Mac and the phone. The password works perfectly on the Mac and doesn’t work (ever) with the mobile app. If I try two times in a row and don’t get it right the app locks my bank account and I need to restore the password. Uninstalled. I’m tired of wasting my time.

Viewing US Credit Card Charges. This app is the Canadian version and you can only see the Canadian credit card charges. A different app for US credit cards is available; however, there is also a link in the Canadian app that opens up the US account in the internet browser and I can then see the US credit card charges.

App unavailable outside of Canada. The app is not available for download if your are residing outside of Canada. This makes it difficult for those with non resident accounts. Other major Canadian banks do not have these restrictions. Please make it available across platforms in all countries.

Impossible to deposit Canadian cheque. The mobile cheque deposit function in Version 6.7 does not work, on my iPhone 7 running iOS 13.3 as I am trying to deposit a cheque issued from Canadian government. In the past 5 days I tried numerous ways of picture-taking using the app but the photos were all rejected. I tried bright natural & bulb lighting, dark surfaces without reflection, video or auto mode and manual mode, with and without flash, and different distance or framing to contain 4 corners. I also deleted the app, shutdown and restarted the device and reinstalled the app, and attempted on a different iOS device iPad. None worked. However older version of this app worked well on this same device in successfully depositing cheques. Customer service denied any problem and said nobody else has reported this problem. This is a very frustrating experience, considering Canadian banking is going paperless but electronic means are not reliable and online customer service is indifferent and insolent.

Terrible. Only thing worse than this app is having to stare at this logo on a Canadians jersey

A truly confusing experience. Connect to their US banking service to be thrown into a maze of Frankensteined websites and be locked out as you enter the wrong password somewhere. You can send $ to, but not receive from USD accounts. 55 minute wait to reset password. Get it together!

Missing 1 big feature for cross boarders accounts!. Overall decent app. I recently moved to the US and opened accounts with RBC so I could move money back and forth easily. Biggest issue I have is I can’t link my RBC Georgia account in the app. Keeps saying “we are experiencing technical difficulties”. Fix this and easily a 5⭐️ app.

Never works. This app almost never works to login. Your security is so tight I can’t get into my own account.

Push notifications don't work. 21st century, Canada's one of the biggest bank and you still don't have decent developer team to fix push notifications issue?

RBC Mobile crashes on IOS public beta. The app crashes on open for everyone on the latest IOS public beta

No longer able to see transaction amounts in notification alerts. The latest update (early November 2022) changed the way I was able to view a notification when a transaction occurred on my account. I no longer see the amount transacted. It now only says that a withdrawal or deposit was made. I have always been able to see the amount until now, and it’s just a waste of a notification. Please just fix this. I don’t need to waste my time speaking with anyone when this is on you RBC.

Great App!. I’m surprised to see such such a low overall rating. To the people complaining and leaving 1 star reviews, please check out the other banking apps. This is easily the most intuitive and well designed one out there today, most apps still don’t even support FaceID and the UI on those other ones is pulled right out of 2005. Devs have done an overall fantastic job with this app, plenty fast and has never crashed on me once. Overall 5/5 stars from me, I just have one small request and that is to implement an option for ‘dark mode’ in the next major release it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Still non-functioning.. 2 years later and the linking US account features still aren’t working. Maybe it’s time to fire your Mobile team and get a new one RBC......

Interac prevents password manager. When following a link for an Interac deposit, it logs you out of the app and won’t let you use the password manager as it won’t fill the info no matter how many times I click on it.

Banking simplified.. This is how banking is supposed to be, everything done with the tips of your fingers, the best function for me is cheque mobile deposit. But I think the direct investment should also get an app as there’s competition out there that has rolled out various apps for investment purposes. This will go a long way in making RBC more competitive as everyone has gone digital.

Keep having “technical issues”. The app is normally great but every once in a while the app has “technical issues” that prevents it from being opened for hours or more. It’s extremely annoying and inconvenient.

Incompetent. It’s been over a full month and two factor authentication is still not working. Preventing me from mobile online banking. How is this possible!!!

Onboarding replays every time. Hi dev team, Like the app, but since it’s been updated, I see the “What’s new” onboarding every time I launch the app. I click “don’t show this again” every time, but it’s still happening. Thanks!

Can not link US account. Got error message when I try to see my US account. I can not open it.

Careful with this bank and the hidden fees.. You won’t get notified of fees, so carefully check each statement at least every 2 weeks. I have been a customer for 9 years, leaving now.

Great app but I feel it’s missing something... I may not be in any majority here, but I’d love to see the RBC app allow full access to my Canadian and American accounts, without having to use a browser for the latter. It’s be great if I could transfer money cross border too, inside a single app. Pretty please for poor me suffering in Florida?

Preview Widget doesn’t work. The RBC accounts preview widget doesn’t work at all. I tried enabling it from within the app it still tells me that I have signin - “Account Preview needs you to sign in again”

Dreadful Login. This app never works. Won’t send a text to my phone number. I have to have a phone call. How about an authentication app instead not tied to the phone since that seems to be a problem for the banks technology

Good app, but needs a small helpful feature. This app functions very well. I have not tried all features but for what I do as far as banking it does well. It just needs to show what the balance is for each transaction. Currently, for each transaction whether in chequing or credit card, it will only show the amount withdrawn (chequing account) or the amount charged (credit card) without any detail about the remaining balance after that withdrawl. For summary purposes it is quite helpful to see that balance under each transaction. Hopefully that can be added in a future update (sooner rather than later ☺️)

Tip messages are extremely annoying. Please add an option to turn off the balloon tips inside the app.

Worst banking app yet. Keep messing up my password even after I reset it and and have probably the worst customer service I’ve ever had to experience would not recommend this app or bank to anyone

Ease of use. I love the mobile app. It’s easy to use and very straightforward.

Technical probs. I like the app but 3 out of 4 times I go to use it there is an error message saying having technical issues. Not sure what’s up but hope they fix this soon. Been going on for 6 months.

Worst User Experience. This app currently has one of the worst user experience ever shown by a banking app. Majority of the feature enabling buttons don’t work and links keep showing the error “currently we are experiencing technical issues. Try later”. The ability to link US accounts don’t work either. The developers also seem to have taken a short cut to putting the least amount of effort by showing US accounts via web views instead of natively showing it within the app.

iPhone XR Home Scree. The app works fine when you are using it, but it will not show one my screen. I have to launch it from the App Store or through settings.

Much better than TD bank mobile. I moved my daily transaction banking needs from TD to RBC because of this app and this app only! Great job, BOFA USA is the only banking app slightly better than this.

Rubber Band Effect. Can you please add the rubber band effect when scrolling. It was working perfectly before you updated the app to the new UI. The absence of the rubber band effect feels really weird.

Can’t log in - 2 step verify double failure. Wow, they have gone nuts on security, so secure I can’t log into my own account. Sends my phone noticification but won’t recongize it on my laptop. Even tried w drivers license scan. That didn’t work either. I correctly enter my password and tried two different options for 2 step verification and still locked out. RBC - fix this. Unacceptable!

Cheque deposit fails sometimes. From time to time it will fail even though the cheque is a canadian cheque. This is annoying otherwise is good

Major bug needed fixed soon. After selecting a currency from the drop menu, the page was zoomed in and cannot zoom out. As a result only a part of the left screen was visible. Problem was persistent since March. Please fix it. 😞

RBC is not a real bank.. RBC is not a real bank. When you call, and if they answer, it seems like you’re talking to somebody hanging out in n their living room. They are NEVER exact. And that’s like a requirement for being a real bank right? Over $4000 disappeared from my account and they didn’t have any explanation as to why or where it went. That’s like a requirement for a being a real bank right? They took 30 days to deliver my debit card but they were collecting interest on my money the whole time. Access to funds is requirement for being a bank right? Long story short, Don’t use this app and NEVER USE THIS BANK. I’m out $4000 and nobody can explain to me why. I guess I should have chosen a real bank.

Still Broken. 🤦🏻‍♀️ I thought they fixed the app. It’s still broken.

Direct investing does not work. Can sign in to direct investing. It keeps telling me “we are experiencing technical difficulties please try again later”

Has the potential to be great.... The app has a decent baseline with a nice variety of features. However, Face ID does not work due to “technical issues”, RBC direct investing does not work due to “technical issues”. I am unable to send an e-transfer at the moment due to “technical issues”. If the developers really want to make this app convenient for RBC clients then they should focus on flattening out these issues and solving them as quickly as possible. They should also implement more support for the Apple Watch as right now, it is completely unusable. Specs- iPhone X iOS 13.3, Apple Watch 4th gen

Direct Investing. Direct investing login doesn’t work. Always says there are technical issues

Stop the Advertisements. Can’t we all get a break from the constant barrage of advertising, everywhere? Even as an already-secured paying customer, I must also suffer advertisements in the app? Isn’t it enough that I pay for the banking service? Sure, the app is “free” but not really. Can’t RBC stop trying to extract every little bit more revenue, here by advertising to its captive audience? Well, captive maybe not: there are other banks. RBC is plenty profitable, which is good - because I don’t want an insolvent bank. But please: just give us some peace from the ads. How much revenue could RBC get by shoving unwanted ads onto a small screen? $5, $10, $20? If RBC is so desperate to get that money then fine - I’ll give you $10 to remove all ads permanently. And if RBC is so financially poor that it must resort to this, maybe I need a different bank. I suspect it’s only greed though: RBC interests over customer interests? I’ll even give you $2 to make RBC Wealth Management accounts accessible in the app for Canadian customers. Nice for US customers who have a dedicated app for that, but haven’t found that for Canadian customers. 🤯

RBC sucks. When I opened my account the teller forgot to unlock my account and when pay got deposited it bounced back to my company and I have 5 kids and couldn’t feed them for about week and when I talked to the manager at the branch he didn’t care I would never recommend RBC to anyone ever unless you want them to make a mistake and not help to fix the problem that was there problem. I actually had to go get food from a food bank because of their mistake!!!!!

2 changes please. Please please add dark more option. And last thing please add a function where I can see balances without being signed in so I can just quickly look as soon as I open the add or make the sign in automatic when I open the app. Other than that 5 stars

App doesn’t work. This app is no longer shared with you every time I try to open it since this update. Really inconvenient!

Fix your app. Your app is broken. I cannot dismiss the new features. Why keep complicating your app. Sign out should be in every tab. Bring back sign in with Touch ID without having to select it every time. Who ever is in charge of making this app less and less user friendly with every update should be fired. I am tempted to switch banks over this app becoming more and more garbage.

Wth?. Why today all of a sudden I cannot access my bank account and it’s saying I have to buy the app?????? I’ve used it for years and one update causes me to have to buy it??? It states the app is no longer shared with me? What’s going on?????

Grey Text & Small (can’t scale). Use the app all the time! Just suffered from a corneal abrasion and can’t read the small grey text. Can’t zoom in and letters nit dark enough to read. I’ve set up the phone so text will appear bigger in apps that allow. Doesn’t work with this app it’s all small and too light to read. Not very accessible

Self-directed investment needs improvements. Among Canada’s top banks and the self-directed investment user interface and available options is limited, outdated, too cluttered with ads and lags behind direct competitors. You can’t even purchase fixed income in the app, but you can on the RBC online banking website. Please improve the mobile app and show your customers you want to compete in the industry.

Direct investing view is garbage. The direct investing portion of the app is terrible. No Face ID Interface from 2010 The trading piece is utterly useless as you can see the current positions and need to remember the exact # of shares. Get it together devs.

Notifications. You actually brought back notifications with transaction amounts in them. So now they are useful again! Thank you!!!!

DO NOT USE FOR INVESTMENTS. DO NOT USE THIS APP FOR DIRECT INVESTING! Constant technical difficulties that will not allow you into the platform to access your portfolios and trades

Won’t let me open.. Installed the New update and it won’t let me open the app. Says It is no longer shared with me and I have to buy it.

Updating. Having problems updating so I end up having to delete the app and get the older version on my iPad

RBC Mobile Banking. Extremely easy to use now that I have started using it in the era of COVID 19. I may never go back to having to go to the branch for regular banking needs.

Worst direct investing app on the market hands down. Been with you guys for the last 6 years, have plenty of buddies with Scotia, td, national etc and they have never had the technical difficulties this app gives me, for starters I need to do a ridiculous amount of trades to get a level 2???? Unacceptable? How do you want me to do those 20-30 trades in a quarter without a level 2?? Not one agent has ever been able to help me with that, such a small detail to be helped with and can never get help. And the Countless times I tried putting a order in at the bell but the app would not let me sign without saying sorry, were having technical difficulties. That sorry has missed me a few thousand dollars. Contemplating bringing my next mortgage elsewhere. Very sorry for the rant this morning. But that’s what I think about the direct investing app. Just terrible

Not everything works. I’m happy with the banking portion of the app but direct investing has not worked for years now. When trying to sign in to direct investing, an error comes up that says “sorry we are having technical issues, please try again later”

App no longer shared with me & wont open?. It says the app is no longer shared with me & wont open even after re downloading?????

You broke the touch id login feature. The app freezes on iphone 7 ios 12.1

Why you removed contact us. The most ineffective assistant ever. If I want to contact the bank via the app and speak to a real person, I must use the app's only option, which is to connect to the virtual machine. I wish you would get rid of that useless virtual assistant.

Needs more features integrated. The app isn’t horrible would be much better if I was able to see my credit score and do everything in the app rather then have to go on the website as well

It's a good app and it's constantly updated. Honestly not sure why there are so many 1* reviews. I use this app all the time and it does everything I want it to and more.

Preview not updating. App always worked great until iOS 16. Now the account balance preview is not updating balances.

Please UPDATE Direct Investing interfcae. Honestly, I am satisfied with the RBC app. But I would like to see some bigger changes in the Direct Investing options. I access it throught RBC LINKS options from online banking. Please update that interface as it would be amazing to aacess the stock market info through this feature.

App not working. I can’t open the app. It keeps saying the app is no longer shared with me and I need to purchase it in the App Store. When I go to the App Store and try to open the app I get the same message.

Direct investing feature is outdated. Please update it. We are in 2019.

Password doesn’t work?. My password works online, and from a laptop but no matter how many time I type it in, or have a new one sent, the app continues to not recognize my entry. This is hands down the worst banking app.

Application désagréable. L’application ne fonctionne plus depuis maintenant 8 jours. Impossible d’accéder à mon compte bancaire pour faire des virements interac. Vraiment déçu de l’application. Si je pouvais mettre 0 étoiles je le ferais. Je vais même changer de banque. En 2019 une application bancaire qui ne fonctionne pas pendant 8 jours c’est INACCEPTABLE!!

Make font with in the app darker please.. Is there any possible way to make the font darker or bolder in the app itself? Or give the user to make the fonts larger or bolder. Thanks

2 Step Verification Broken. Your implementation of two factor authentication is god awful, especially for an organization that should be concerned with security. For starters, there’s a persistent bug where your trusted device is forgotten and anytime you attempt to trust your current device or enable 2 step in settings it errors out citing technical difficulties. Secondly, why on earth are we using SMS for receiving 2FA codes. At least give options for TOTP and other modern authentication methods. The first bank to get this right I’ll gladly switch my business over.

Notifications are useless. The notification says nothing about the charge or location unless you log in to review. It says withdrawal and deposit made. There is no option for a client to customize it. Useless.

Transfer glitch. Please fix the etransfer glitch. This is getting annoying. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times now. If you're not going to acknowledge your loyal customers with iPod, ipads and other gifts you reserve for new customers, the least you could do is provide us with an app that does the simple everyday tasks we need it to do.

Account Preview. I love the app and up until Dec 9 I could get an account preview, however since then the account preview is stuck on Dec 9. I’ve tried toggling it off and then on again but it’s not working. Could you please advise? Or even better fix it. Thank you

RBC Direct Investing Platform. The investing platform should REALLY be redefined urgently. It makes me feel like using a platform that was designed 20 years ago regarding the interface and features, bugs occurred all the time while I am using the platform in this APP. The banking side is doing way better than the investing one. Or there should be a separate APP developed for direct investing.

Facile et simple d’utilisation. Personnellement une des meilleures appli d’institution financière où il est facile de s’y retrouver facilement.

Mobile Cheq deposit sucks. Cheque never being held in rbc mobile app. It is not secure at all.

Trading screen disfiguration. Without fail every morning I log into Direct Investing via the mobile app the screen halts then the view is way out of proportion . IPhone 10 all updates complete. I have failed on three trades due to this. TD Investing here I come !

Printing. I was always able to print my bank statements from my phone before. Now it is not giving me that option. Can’t print Mastercard or Visa statements as before.

DI investing. This app work very bad, slow , logout automatically several times. On trading side account DI. It works as Super slow need to update this app with new feature like other bank has it.

Wrong info. Rbc Mobile says 6.32 no good after jan something. Go to button does not have a update button to get latest update

Useless feature. Virtual help is useless nobody replying in that feature

Not working!. I haven’t been able to login for months now. Every time I open the app and sign in it just spins and spins until it times out. Time for an update I think!!

Why are the features so outdated?. I enjoy the app and all that it has to offer, but when comparing to other banks apps/ online services there are a couple things that are disappointing that seem pretty simple. My wife banks with Simplii (formerly presidents choice bank, associated with CIBC), when she accessed her mobile banking any time immediately after a purchase it will have the name/location information for each purchase, as well as showing her on each statement line what her balance was after that transaction. With the RBC app any purchase made after 6pm on a Friday shows only the type of transaction until after the Monday night rollover and then the records are frequently out of order (a purchase made Monday may be listed before a purchase made the previous Friday evening). And if I want to review what my balance was at the time of any particular transaction then that requires several minutes of flipping back and forth between the RBC app and my calculator app and juggling around the order of any transactions that showed up out of order. Not earth shattering issues, I just expected more from one of Canada’s largest banks and an account I pay $15/month for than what my wife gets on her no fee online bank account.

Credit card balance. So the credit card balance used to change right away from buying or paying it off but now it just stays on one number so I have to calculate what I owe manually n prey that I payed everything I owe off. This is very annoying

Direct investing. After reading all of the one star reviews, 99% of them are Direct Investing related. And all of the commented by RBC are please contact customer service. I don’t think they take is seriously. Good bye RBC Direct Invest.

Put direct phone number back. Don’t worry you can still find it on google their virtual assistant is completely useless

APp Review. I want to update my review to say its a great app!

The app crash. Since the last update mid August 2020, the app crash immediately on IPhone 6

Form Follows Function. Of course, this app is useful for online banking purposes. I do wish, however, that the UI was updated past iOS 4.2 elements. It looks ancient and could seriously use a facelift.

Virtually useless. No linkage to US account, nor can I seem to be able to sign in to my USA account using this mobile app. This is just taking up space on my iPhone.

Still no support for US linked accounts. UI is much improved, but inability to view US linked accounts or do cross-border transfers makes it entirely useless for those travelling/living in the US.

US accounts?. It would be nice to see our US accounts alongside the Canadians ones just like on the website. This was one of the driving reasons for choosing RBC.

Freezing. Freezes on security question, every time, which makes it totally useless.

Touch ID not working. If you migrate devices using a back up Touch ID seems to stop working. This has been a persistent issue and they have no bug reporting system.

Cross-Border Features Not Working. The latest app version, updated 22June 2018, touts new cross-border features for those of us who also bank with RBC Bank (Georgia). Unfortunately, those features are not working, as I can’t link my U.S.accounts. I get a pop-up that talks about “technical” issues. I’m using the app on an iPhone X, running the latest version of iOS. Also, why not make it a lot easier to offer comments and feedback? It’s not intuitive at all, and when I clicked on obvious links, they had nothing to do with feedback on the mobile banking app.

Just bad. App does it job, and that’s great and all. But it is riddled by crashes, bugs, and connection issues. If a multibillion bank can’t properly hire a proper app developer, then we have a problem.

E transfer not working. Please review your App, it keeps asking for an update but is not working Bad, too bad!!

Not working. I can’t type in my security answer. App is broken. I can’t use it.

Cut widget. The app is good but there is improvement to be done. - The check deposit should be easier to access. Maybe letting us personalize the bottom bar like some app do? - also, very annoying is the RBC Mobile cut widget on dashboard. I have a checking, savings and a credit card, the last one is cut in half and is not visible in the widget, because the widget is too small (height).

Crashes on deposit. For a bank like RBC, if their basic functionality of depositing a check is crashing and there is no improvement weeks later, it is such a shame. Can expect out of a local bank due to lack of resources, but RBC which charges one of the highest banking rates in Canada, this is such a disappointment.

A Shame. I like this app, except it is long overdue that your Canadian customers still can’t integrate their US accounts!!!

Good but buggy. Makes some banking tasks easier but it seems mostly designed to promote more RBC products instead of actually helping customers. For example the “instant access bar” along the bottom can be customized, but you can’t remove the RBC wallet button (which launches that app every time you brush it, super unhelpful) and my choices always reset back to RBC’s defaults the next time I open the app. Another example: Mobile cheque deposit is hidden away deep in the menus, but there’s a nice big button for applying to get another credit card. 🤷‍♂️

Modernize app UI and features. RBC, this app lacks any update to design/UI since initial launch, it's pitiful. Even more egregious is your lack of support for your own products: linked US accounts, to name one. Why would a Canadian now living in the U.S. put up with a subpar mobile experience when the banks in the U.S. have much better apps to manage one's money. Not to mention how long it took to roll out mobile cheque deposit. Lack of Touch ID support, a slow loading app, improper support for iPhone 6+. You extract fees and interest from us customers, how about you earn some good will back and build a new app. It's been a long time coming.

Useless. I still have to use my computer to transfer money to my US account! Useless app

Great for expats to access CAD accounts. I'm glad to have this app to track my Canadian accounts. Would like the app to include access to my linked RBC Bank USA (GA) account in the future.

Nice app but frequent false alerts. The app is great to use and very intuitive. The only thing I dislike is I get outdated alerts from the app regarding my credit card transactions. Eg: If I spend $10 at Tims on over the weekend, I get an alert 2 days later which confuses me at times as I know I haven’t been to Tim’s today. If this gets sorted out, I’d give this 4-5 stars

Beautiful update, long overdue. Love new look, looks like a real personal banking app at par with other financial institutions. Hopefully stable and without glitches.

Please redesign website and mobile ASAP. I am a new customer of RBC, happy with the customer service, but I am impressed of how dated the website / online banking / mobile apps are. Can’t believe I am still these such an old design and unfriendly UI. Took me 5 minutes to figure out how to change my email. in. Please hire a design agency and do something with it, it’s not a big bank like RBC should look like in 2015!!

I don't know where to start. I wish this app was as full featured as their online banking website. Hire a UI/UX engineer to clean up the app take advantage of or the retina screen. Add support for RBC Bank USA and add bill pay support.

This app not for tablets. This app does not rotate to adapt to the position of the tablets. Larger tablets such as ipad air at almost 10 inches are mostly used with a frame and attached keyboard, and therefore used horizontally. The app presents in vertical (portrait) mode only, therefore cannot be used unless we detach the frame with keyboad from the tablet. Unbelievable.

App update. Worst app update. One cannot find anything on the app easily everything is so hard and complicated. I’m a 19 year old and I am used to technology and this is ridiculous to comprehend and manage my accounts. The app was way more organized before the latest update. Landscape view would be helpful. With an iPad Pro and the keyboard, this app does not rotate to use in landscape mode which make it not worth using on an iPad. Other than that the app works well.

Unreliable, unstable and crashes a heck of a lot. Did you ever need to buy a stock, pay a bill, transfer funds, check the status of a payment/deposit in an urgent fashion? Well, don't rely on this app because it fails, crashes, log outs every single time You use it. I would fire everyone involved in the development of this app. Don't bother with it. I think it is more efficient to walk to a branch.

Useless if you can't use it to make electronic deposits. A major fail for a major Canadian bank. Unlike many countries where you can use your phone to photograph a check for deposit this, RBC app isn't able to do this. Come on RBC - join the 21st century.

Overdue for TouchID and iPhone 6/6+ Screen sizes. Hey RBC! TouchID has been around for a year and a half, and it would be really nice to use the screen real estate of the 6/6+. Also needs to deposit by photographing a cheque. Modernize the app!

Many improvements but still lacking. The new version finally addressed some of the poor UX of the old, but you need to improve like your competitors and get Touch ID support already. You're forcing me to choose between a slow and arduous login experience (with this AND the wallet app) or a bad password by not having it. Can’t load linked accounts. It doesn’t show linked US accounts “Couldn’t load linked accounts” error

Won’t let me enable TouchID. The touchID feature worked fine on my 6s, but it won’t let me enable it on my 8 plus. I keep getting promoted to enable touchID, when I already have it set up and use it for everything else.

US Linked Account Issues. The US linked accounts feature still isn’t working. The rest of the features of this app work great.

RBC US Banking. The US accounts are not showing up. This app is not helpful for those who need to gain quick access to their US accounts as the functions don’t seem to work. Other than that it is a great app for people just needing access to Canadian accounts.

Technical issues. The app isn’t working with cellphone internet but is working well over the WIFI if you are in the road you can’t use

Constant error messages. When I'm trying to deposit checks, I keep getting a NDC error message or a "lost connection" - just a terrible customer experience and interface. Took minutes before it could take a picture of check and not enough light when I'm at the window - total frustration!

All The Promises Little Execution. Have tried to link my US account for cross-border transfer many times, and it says that it is successful. But I can’t seem to transfer funds. It keeps telling me to enter my password, which I’ve done... many times. Fix this RBC!!!

Canada/USA. I'm a Canadian living the USA and I've been unable to update my RBC app. I still have an account with you & use it. Please fix this. Otherwise I'm happy with the app. Thank you.

Face ID doesn’t fallback to PIN. I have enable FaceID and wearing a mask all day long. Yow this is seriously impacting everyone, it’s covid season and I’d need to remove my mask. Please add fallback to PIN!

Please add check deposit. Just what the title says, please add a check deposit feature. Most other banking apps I know of have this feature. There isn't a reason for you to not have one either.

Unreliable. I use this app for work, so I only use it a couple times a month, but I have not been impressed. More often than not when trying to deposit a check, it has me go all the way to the submission page, just to have an error pop up saying they are currently having technical issues and to try again later.

E-Transfers don't work now!. Like another reviewer, e-Transfers don't work now! Repeatedly transfers me to a RBC web page & tells me to update my app yet my app says it IS the current version. Deleted & downloaded, same crap. Thanks RBC for screwing up immediate customer payments! Fix this & respond to me & the other reviewer (Cdn store) as you have others who posted other problems! And, BTW, I can't even submit a review through my Canadian iTunes account!!! Are you not taking negative reviews now???
