Almost perfect!. I love everything about this, except one thing; when not in use, it displays all the advertised time, etc(7:29 pm)...I shut the phone off hoping it would reset, also enabled all access in settings, nothing helped. Is there something I can do to get the current accurate time while not using the app? Thanks!

Paid for adds. I paid for an add free version. With the last update I seem to have adds now. The adds are very bright and has made this app unusable. Update to rating: I previously gave a one star rating (complaint above). However, the developer responded directly that it was an error and they had another update that would fix it. The update solved the problem. I paid $2.00 for this app, which is nothing and it has worked well for several years. Even though my $2.00 was long gone, the developer stood behind it, took time to contact me and solved the problem. I have a lot of respect for that, and understand how damaging one customers rating can be these days. Us consumers are quick to get negative and forget there are hard working people behind so many of these products.

My go-to alarm clock for a decade. I admit that I have dozens of presets set for the usual times that I need them in that time window. I’m sure I overload the thing and I use NO features other than flipping alarm switches for the next day as all my presets are once and reused and I have dozens and dozens of variations - something I am certain the designers never intended - all to begin again the next day because my business schedule changes like the wind, and I really don’t want to reprogram for tomorrow - so this way, yes, I have to fling through the list, but I usually just use a small subset with lots of wake up reminders when my mtg switches to 3:30a. It works. It’s the best and it does have lots of new features that haven’t broken it!! Yay!!

Become “AnnoyMeWare”. Not only have the ads in this app become WAY more frequent, there is now a bug where you open the app, a vertical ad plays, and then it stays vertical even if you rotate. You have to kill and restart the app, and if you’re really lucky it doesn’t happen again. I didn’t mind the ads. I know development costs money, and I have used the app for long enough (years) and seen enough ads (thousands?) that I imagine the devs have made up for my $1.99 in ad revenue. This bug just adds insult to advertising.

Actually like 2 stars. Only rating this one so people might see it. This app requires for your ringer and volume to be on, two things I keep off on default because I’m a sane human being. Even with these both on it only works about 50% of the time. Sometimes it will wake me up with a default alarm sound, and sometimes it just doesn’t go off. Only once has it actually woken me up with music. Disappointed.

Worked perfectly!. The stock alarm's music is so light, and just becomes nice background music to sleep to, so I wondered if there was a free app that would allow me to set my own music (metal) to wake up to. This one came up. It promised to do what I was looking for, and it's not a large size. The only reason I gave it 4 stars though is because there isn't much when it comes to instructions-I had to figure it out mostly on my own. I set the stock alarm for another time, just in case, but it wasn't needed. This one set of right at the time set. Beautiful!

Not liking bright light. When I got the app, I thought I would like that interphase, because it shows a black screen with blue numerous. Bright light in the middle of the night makes it harder to go back to sleep. But I downloaded the app, and what I see in addition to that now, if I check what time it is in the middle of the night, I get up bright white advertising, in addition to that time of night, and that is just far too stimulating, far too much light for a Clock You would use that late at night I’m going to look for another clock that is not so bright because of advertising. With this app, you might as well turn the light on and look at the clock. No thanks.

More ads and now they have sounds. Update: I appreciate the app developers response to my review below. Also, they have fixed the ad pop ups after every click and so far, I haven’t had a noisy ad either. It’s nice to see companies take critiques and make a positive change. Thank you. Old review below: I have used this alarm app for years and it was my favorite. The free version. I understand that with “free” comes some minor inconvenience, but with the newest update, I can’t even save my alarm settings without an ad pop up and now they also have additional ad sounds. It’s ridiculous. I feel if you have been a dedicated user of a product, the makers should be able to “grandfather” in those customers. I have seen the scroll ads at the bottom of my screen for years, but like I said, now there’s an ad if I set an alarm or switch a setting. I will be searching for a new alarm. Incredibly disappointed.

New upgrade buggy. To Developers, My wife and I have used your app on our iPhone 6s for a number of years. Have been very pleased up until recently. When you rolled out this new UI all of a sudden our phones will not stay awake at night. We use your app as both an alarm and a clock. The alarm still seems to work but the phone goes to sleep after a few minutes so therefore we can’t see the clock. Then when the alarm goes off we have to unlock our phones to either stop the alarm or snooze. As I said this started happening to both of our phones. I set a test alarm on my phone this morning to check and it did the same thing. Went to sleep after 3 mins. Please fix! Otherwise app is useless.

More money?. I tried the free version years ago and loved it, so I paid for the app to get rid of the ads. Then a while back ads appeared again and it asks to pay a yearly subscription. $17 a year! I can buy a real alarm clock once for $10 that will alarm to music and just use the clock app when traveling. Ads are awful because they won’t close, keep opening to website. It’s frustrating when trying to wind down to go to sleep. I don’t mind an ad banner running if it would revert to the clock on its own but these do not. Frustrating.

Alarm. Always wakes me up, it’s very affective I definitely recommend it you can choose your style, color, background, and sound. It’s amazing I love this app so much, even though I hate waking up you have to, especially on the week days you can also adjust what days the alarm goes on. By, Someone in this world

Not free from adds. I had another clock app that worked great. But lately it started displaying adds. So, I looked through the App Store and saw that this one advertised FREE FROM ADDS. I saw that the 2.99 was a one time purchase, so I bought it. As soon as I went to us the clock to set up the alarm those game apps started showing. You can’t close them until the entire add is played. I’m very disappointed about it. Yes it has some good features, but all I needed was a clock with alarm with no adds. When I’m going to bed, I’m ready to go to bed and not looking at adds that I’m not interested. If you don’t want the adds, this is NOT the app for you.

Good app. Yearly fees is ridiculous.. They offer a free version, but they want to charge a yearly fee of $17 to get rid of ads. The app lets you play music from your library, but it doesn’t let you play music from Apple Music without intense finagling. Overall, the app is well designed. I think a one-time fee of five dollars to get rid of ads would be more reasonable than a yearly charge.

Love this app (Alarms w Apple Music and sleep timer music shuffle). This app is the best it lets you set alarms to go off w your Apple Music and a sleep timer playlist you can make or just leave one song on Apple Music on shuffle HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I’m obsessed! Plus if you don’t want your alarm to go off on your phone and want it to go off on your wireless headphones it does that automatically!!! :) in love ! MUSIC HEALS THE SOUL ♥️

So glad the app is fixed!. I have happily used this app for years but was forced to use another alarm app when there were issues. I could find no other that compared in features and performance. When I realized it seemed repaired I ran another alongside to be sure until I was satisfied. Not sure when it was actually fixed but I am just glad it is. This app is the very best alarm clock. Great!! A alarm clock that doesn’t go off.... What’s the point of having an alarm clock where you can customize out the yin yang but the one basic function that it supposed to do doesn’t work...? I bought the upgrade to get rid of ads and I changed all my settings to be exactly to what the instructions says so the alarm will go off at 6am everyday while playing my playlist. Instead, I get a banner at 6am stating the alarm is going off and another banner a minute later and another???!!! Banners aren’t going to wake me up. The only way I can get it to work is to leave my iPhone and app on all night...who the hell does this. It’s like leaving your car on all night so you can drive it the next morning?? It’s insane. The best thing about that is if you forget to plug it up, it’s drains your battery so the phone is dead the next morning. Can’t you guys set it to where it turns on while the app is locked. It should be the simplest process...

I Used to like it a lot, not anymore.... I have used this app for about a year. For the past 2 months, the alarm goes off at the right time but there is no sound. I have it set to play music from my library and the music is downloaded on my phone, not in the cloud, but there is no sound. I have deleted the app and reinstalled but it's not working.

Time to buy an actual alarm clock. $17 dollars a year for an alarm app? I hate advertising which is why just buy apps. I get it developers need to eat and apple is a greedy company (that can’t make a functional alarm app). But all I need is an app that makes noise when necessary. Not a life organizer, not a work of art and not something designed to wake the dead. I have no clue how this app performs because I’m not going to look at ads and I deleted it as soon as I saw the ransom note. A reviewer mentioned $2 and I thought that was too good to be true and is was. Going shopping at Target now thanks to this app.

Not great anymore. I loved this app until a few weeks ago. I am so disappointed. I really liked this alarm clock app. Recently it has stopped being useful. The clock no longer stays on. I can set the alarm, put my phone on its charging stand, and shortly the clock is gone my phone’s face is blank. When (if) the alarm goes off, the phone is still blank. I have to take my phone off the charger, and type in my password before the clock comes back on and I can hit the snooze or off button. This is not a good thing. Also, I can not rely on the alarm sounding. Previously it was reliable. Whether I had my phone on silent or not the alarm (I use music from my collection) would sound. I prefer my sound to be off so that random, notifications, alerts, messages, etc. do not disturb my sleep. Lynn

Perfect for My Needs. My last alarm clock stopped supporting it, so I was left looking. This one is exactly what it promised. I love being able to use my whole Apple music library to fall asleep to and to awake to, I like being able to change the background, dimming the background & the foreground separately gives me control over how bright it is, the alarms are great. It does everything. My last one did allow me to use my own pictures as they rotated, but other than that I really prefer this one. And it’s worth the subscription free to have add-free and know that this will continue to be supported.

Advertising is a problem.. This “Royal Match” takes over the screen, and there’s no way to reset the alarm. If I click anywhere on the screen, it takes me to the App Store to download that game. There’s no X to click on to close the ad. Last time, I had to delete and reinstall the app so I could use the alarm again. If this cannot be fixed, I will look for another alarm app.

Not a clock. This App will continuously pop up random notifications and continuously asks questions like “can alarm clock use your location just this once or while your on the app” in the middle of the night so when you wake up at night go to check what time it is all you see is notifications. Why even make an alarm clock app if your not intelligent enough to make it useful. And why does an alarm clock need anyone’s location anyway. selfish money hungry people keep dumping out apps that aren’t actually useful and it drowns out the apps that are actually revolutionary.

The Best Alarm Clock. I have purchased many alarm clock and this one I been using is the best. I know when I set my alarm to get up in the morning, I can rest assured that it will wake me up on time. I like the snooze feature I can set it for whatever I minutes or half an hour 45 minutes whatever it’s a perfect way of getting that extra few minutes of sleep.

Very pleased! Might be the first actual app I ever pay to upgrade!. I truly enjoy this alarm app and the “Shake Phone to turn on Flashlight” option is a nice touch! One issue I had is I got a notice for the alarm, but the sound never went off and making sure it was nothing on my part that caused this. Will update my review tomorrow or after a full week with no issues. I only have the FREE version at the moment, so no complaints and hope it was something I did, cause I like this alarm app.

Like don’t like. I’ve been using this app for a little over a year, it was just fine until it all of a sudden started going off even when the app isn’t open. I have two alarms set for during the week. It used to be that if the first alarm woke me and I exited the app it would stay dormant. Now the second alarm goes off no matter what. It’s woken my baby up twice, and I’m starting to simply get annoyed at the app in general because of it. It doesn’t matter what I do to the settings, it goes off no matter what. I even turned it off in “notifications.” The app overrides that setting and goes off no matter what. I’m probably just going to get a different one. Update: the developer contacted me and asked if I turned the settings off in notifications. Despite my review saying it was off in notifications. I mean I can’t even wrap my head around that. I’m done with this app.

Latest Update fixed the Ad issue!. Update to my review! The developer has fixed the Ad issue which was my prior complaint. Thanks to the developer for the quick response and quick fix! Prior complaint: I’ve had this clock app for about a year and since the last update. Tried doing a restore in app purchase and it showed Restore Succeeded your purchase has been restored! But the ad’s keep reappearing! Don’t purchase this if you are thinking it’s ad free!

Everything I could want. Great alarm. You can set multiple times for alarms to go off and if you want each individual one to go off just once, or every day, or MWF, or whatever. And waking up to your choice of music that starts quiet and gradually increases in volume is a great option. I use He’s Always Been Faithful to Me by Sarah Groves.

Started working again!. I used this app to wake for a long long time and then it stopped working reliably, I’m guessing because of something Apple did during an iOS update. It took some time, but the developer updated the app and fixed it. So grateful, this is the only app I’ve found that plays my own music, and will fade in slowly. Waking up is a tricky business for me and this really does the trick. Thanks again!

Good but an irritating flaw. I like the app but for one thing: when I'm playing music and the alarm goes off, it stops the music and does not resume. When I re-open the music app, the "now playing" icon is missing!! This forces me to shut down the music app then restarting it, whereby the "now playing" icon reappears and I can listen to the music again. Please fix this! A second flaw: I get anywhere from four to eight banner reminders of an alarm going off, when simply one will suffice, especially given the volume I require for my bad hearing.

Maybe Fine for Paid Version-Unusable for Free. Maybe fine for the paid version but the free version is unusable. The second you pass (say no) on the $16 a year subscription, you are hit with a full-page ad that has no way to dismiss it. Dismissing the entire app is sometimes successful, with a small ad at the bottom of the screen displaying when the app is restarted, but invariably another full-screen ad pops without a dismal mechanism. I tried to use it but was unable to make it work satisfactorily. And I’m not paying a subscription for an alarm clock. I really miss Nightstand.

New update ruined this app!. Yesterday it worked just fine. Today, it looks and acts different, and not in a good way. I can no longer use this in landscape mode (on its side), which before, was the only way I could get the numbers to appear larger (I need the numbers as big as possible so I can actually see what time it is). Now I can’t change the size of numbers so I can’t read the time, which makes this app useless! Why doesn’t it work anymore when the phone is turned sideways??? Why did you have to mess with something that was fine just the way it was??

Worked great for years, now locks up. I’ve been suing this app as my Go-to for years. In the past 2 months it has locked up 3 times and has not gone off in the morning. Usually my wife’s alarm 45 mins later wakes me up and I’ll look at the display and it is fixed on “11:38 PM” even though it’s 5:45 in the am. I am a medical professional and it is unacceptable for me to be late for work. I go to bed around 10:30 so I’m not sure why it locks on 11:38. I have the volume up, I have the latest update and it works most days so I know the settings are correct. Unfortunately it not dependable enough for me to keep using.

Used to work fine. Not now with latest update. CHANGED REVIEW!!!. The alarm clock was fine before this most recent update. It would stay illuminated all night like a “regular” alarm clock. Now it doesn’t stay on and therefore the alarm doesn’t sound in the morning. Overslept. And this is one of the few apps that I bought the full version. Disappointed. UPDATE. Totally dependable. I have had this app for a bit over a 1 1/2 years I have used it at home and on the go, on vacation why’ll staying at hotels or with family, it has always gone off on time, all though the app must remain open but the new background photos are pleasant specially in low light as not to be bothersome at night. The only thing I would absolutely love to see improvement on is the tones. I would love to wake up to bird sounds or beach sounds not just the run of the mill chirp chime ding or beeps. Any ideas on this update for my alarm favorite app?

Glitching/freezing. I have had this alarm for several years and loved it. But here for the past week of so it is glitching. It is very slow to open, when the alarm goes off it doesn’t let you shut it off it just freezes at that time. Then I have to close it and re-open it. I rely on this alarm highly and don’t want to look for another one but if this isn’t fixed I will have too.

THE Best Alarm Clock!. Use this app every night as combo alarm clock/ night light on my night stand. Love that you can dim or make it brighter with just a quick finger slide. Also displays (in small unobtrusive font) date and current temp/ forecast temp that alternates between the two every ten seconds or so. Keep up the intuitive work!

Beware: Music doesn’t play sometimes so basically no alarm!. I purchased this app years ago and it was great until recently. Lately the alarm screen turns on but the music hasn’t gone off 4 times in the last month. I noticed this after the most recent iOS update. Then I noticed there was an update to the alarm so I updated the app...Still doesn’t work right. What’s the point in having an alarm if it doesn’t wake you up?! It just happened again this morning. Thank goodness I had the free iPhone alarm clock set as a backup as it went off to wake me up.

Too many adds. I’ve had this app for several years now. When I originally got it, I paid a fee $$, I don’t remember the exact amount, to be add free. It gradually started showing adds as I open the app & turning the alarm on. When an add popped up I could immediately close it. Any more, I have to wait for most the add to play through before I have an option to close it and then set the alarm. Also, if my phone is on vibrate, the alarm doesn’t always work. On the screen it shows it should be sounding but nothing is happening. I’ve had this happen in the past and restarting my phone has fixed the issue. This is the only app that I have issues with so I don’t think it’s a phone issue.

Pop up ads. I don’t mind ads at the bottom, they’ve always been there, but all of a sudden with this last update the ads pop up while the clock is on and they won’t shut down, full ads that take over the entire screen… Now I have to close down the clock and then reload it in order for the ad to stop. I’ve had this app for quite a few years and I’ve been extremely happy. It just started doing this within this past week and it’s going to make me delete this app and pick another one that doesn’t have ads popping up on the whole screen

Having issues. I really liked this app because it did everything you need for free! But lately it's been more frustrating than anything. It's hit and miss as to when it decides to go off. Most of the time it works but more and more lately it just doesn't go off. I'll set the alarm and I can see it in there but many times I over sleep and the alarm never went off, and it is still showing in there as if it has yet to go off. Very frustrating, hopefully this can be fixed because I really like this app!

How do U screw up the best Clock App available?. This has normally been the BEST Free iPhone Clock App—for many years—UNTIL some genius decided to implement Full Page ADS, triggered randomly but frequently, with infuriating latency, right after Stopping an Alarm. This makes it FAR too easy to inadvertently trip a Weblink to the advertiser—among several fatal flaws in this terribly short sighted & irredeemable design change. Do NOT deceive yourself: there is no “right” way to implement this concept. It is fundamentally a BAD Idea! Oh, totally unrelated, your team also managed to leave behind a tiny programming bug, at least in this last App Version: upon Choosing IN App to Rate this App, it causes this Write a Review screen to Display in an almost completely UNREADABLE, White on kinda Light Sand color Format, which Dark Mode could NOT Redeem. I know: I’m embarrassed for AND with you! I was barely able to write THIS Review, and regret not being able to itemize more of the Positive aspects of an App I still like! Honestly, that’s the MAIN reason I stuck with it this far—along with sheer stubbornness—I HATED the idea of leaving a Low Rating with NO explanation. :-) Please FIX this thing, so I can write the 5-star Review you guys AND the App deserve!

Used to love it now it drains my battery. I’ve used this app for about four years now and worked very well for my needs. However I just updated my iPhone to 11.4 and even though I only use it about 20 minutes a day it started draining my battery! And that was with me closing down the app after each use. I looked at battery usage right after I had closed the app and it wasn’t in the top ten. Then I looked a few hours later, battery was down over 35% even though I wasn’t using my phone. Also the battery usage showed the app at the top of the usage chart even though the app was closed.

Loved until pop-up ads took over. I love the ability to dim the light of the clock. I use it all the time as my bed side clock and morning timer. Unfortunately pop-up ads started taking over the screen and made it hard to use. Paid the $1.99 to upgrade to full version after reading it removed ads, but it didn’t... :( I want my 2 bucks back and the clock that I loved. Keep banner ads, but pop-ups are obnoxious!

Stopped going off so I’ve stopped using it. Over the last month, there were at least 3 different incidents of the alarm not going off. I wake up (thanks to a backup alarm clock I use) and this app is just displaying the snooze/stop buttons, but no alarm went off. I even tested it and confirmed no music plays sometimes. Seems to occur (or not occur) at random. I’ve used this app for years and bought the ad-free version a long time ago. And I’ve officially stopped using it. What good is an alarm app if you can’t depend on the alarm? And if you can’t depend on it 100%, you don’t want it.

Ok-ish app. I have used this app for years as it has all the features I enjoy. However the last update killed things for me. No matter if the setting is to stay on or run with the screen off the app keeps crashing in the middle of the night. Which in turn causes me to not get up in time. I have checked my settings and storage capacity to ensure it is not my phone closing it down. I don't have problems with any other app i use. At this rate i may have to find a new alarm app.

Used to be good. I’ve had this app for years, but the past few months the alarm randomly doesn’t go off. Yes, I know how to use it, yes my volume is ON, yes my volume is UP, yes the alarm is SAVED, yes the app is OPEN all night as I use the clock and yes, I keep it UPDATED. So unfortunately, my grandson has been late to school too many times- thanks to THIS app. So I have no other choice but to replace this app with a RELIABLE one. Sad, this used to be a great, reliable app, but isn’t anymore. Please, use this app with caution. Forewarned IS forearmed! Do not rely on this alarm for work or school. If it’s alright if you over-sleep, go for it. But to me, what is the point of an alarm clock if it’s NOT RELIABLE? You usually set an alarm because you must get up at a certain time for a reason. It’s like playing Russian Roulette with this app, sometimes the set alarm will go off, sometimes for days or even weeks without any issues, then BOOM! It just doesn’t go off at all. It’s hit or miss. It’s your choice, just know you may be late or miss that appointment with this app. I really hope they fix the issue, as this was the only alarm I used for years. Cheers!

RBaker. Ok.....anyone that thinks all the bad reviews are coming from a competitor hasn't had the app very long. I have relied on this app for a long time as it DID work perfectly until recently. Now I am experiencing all the same problems others are writing about and ready to remove the app permanently. I have tried to re-install it to correct the problems with no improvement. My wife is having all the same problems with this app on her iPhone too. I can't no longer depend on this app. I have missed my wake-up call on more than one occasion so it's gotta go! Too bad because it WAS a great app until recently! It is very clear they are maliciously trying to get rid of the “free” users as their advertising has now become excessively obnoxious! Their ads now come on in the middle of the night so bright they wake you and disturb your sleep. They have also programmed their app to shut down randomly and no longer reliable! I would NEVER utilize their products again for their unethical practices!!

Good alarm app. Not quite great, but still 5 star. You can set multiple alarms for multiple days of the week, but you can't set for specific dates. You can link to your iTunes and wake up to music, which I like very much. The only problem I've had is that sometimes the music won't play. The stop and snooze buttons come up, but no music to awaken me. It's happened a few times, but not enough to make me get a different app. I've tried a number of other alarm apps, and this one is my fav. All told, a big thumbs up!

Used to be great. I’m a long time user of this alarm clock app. Recently the ads have become unbearable. I don’t mind the banner ads across the bottom but the full page ads (for games I will never download) have become too much in the last month. I used to be able to get my alarm set before a full page ad would pop up. I’d only ever see them if I was in the app long enough to set up a new alarm, but now with in 5 seconds of opening the app, a full page ad pops up, interrupting my nighttime routine. I’d almost pay for the full version except I don’t want to continually pay for a subscription. Oh well, it hasn’t really had any major updates over the years so I guess it’ll be good to try something new and see what’s out there.

Worse than before. I agree with calicokisses. This app is getting worse instead of better. I have also used it for years with good results. Recent updates have caused it to miss alarms unless you are very careful. For instance, stopping an alarm then setting a new time and saving can cause the new alarm time to fail. Closing the app and restarting seems to help enable the new alarm time. Definitely a big. Further and worse is I have the paid version without ads. Recent updates have cause an ad to show a full screen ad upon starting the app, seems like once a day. No fair changing this after paying and having no ads for years!!!! Should have one starred for that.

Alarm fault. Was very happy with the app until my alarm wouldn't sound due to my phone being on mute. Catch 22 situation here, use the app and risk being woken up all night because I can't silence my phone, or use a different app. Simple choice really.

Awful unskipable ads. Used to be great but now has long, loud, unskipable ads. The alarm was never any good. The only good thing was the clock and background was able to be dimmed to a very low light level.

Done. I get it. You need the revenue, but the number and frequency of ads is annoying, especially in the middle of the night when I’m trying to sleep. I paid for the app originally but now you want more money and more regularly so I don’t use the app much anymore

Battery Problem. I like it but WAY TOO MCUH POWER is being USED! Even with my phone on Low Power mode, it uses about 75% with my phone on low power mode.

Rubbish. Alarm wakes you up at the time you set, but also consistently wakes you up half an hour before the alarm set time just for annoyance.

Files please. could you please make it where we can upload songs from files instead of Apple Music. Apple Music is stupidly expensive. I don’t have any money to be wasting on songs I already have in files. So could you please make it where we can upload said files

It's fancy but needs work(v3.2). Like so many have said, it needs to activate should the phone be on silent or off, and it doesn't show the next alarm as the other app does. I mean it's great, but for apple it should be amazing, no offense but nokia's still better in that regard, and YES it drains your battery, too bad if you're sleeping over at a friends house and you wake up to 10-15%battery life and you rush home or work and it dies on you, and to make matters worse everyone is trying to reach you,...boss, worried parents or just someone who cares. Better than your standard alarm clock. (Mind my errors) This is more useful since you easily just put the time and put and increasing the volume and I’ve been using apple standard app it’s better since you can put music and it’s not a struggle as said, they increase the volume and I can finally use the alarm clock on my speaker and if you’re a heavy sleepy like then I recommend using because boy will you wake up

Please fix impact to battery (app drains iPhone battery). App works well however drains the battery if not on charge whilst in use. Developer, could you please look at a software fix so the app doesn’t drain the iPhone battery when not plugged in to charge. Currently using iPhone Xs Max.

Not bad but...... This app is excellent, lots of features, customisable, everything you would want, EXCEPT that it only works if the app is OPEN. You have to remember to open the app and then put or allow your phone to go into sleep mode. If you press the home button and close the app, the alarm wont go off. No good if, like me, you set your alarm when you get in bed but then may do other things on your phone. You unfortuneately can't 'set and forget'. You have to set and remember!!!

Very Good but no Widget. This app is incredible, very useful but it has no widget feature.

Latest update bug. I’ve been using this app for close to 10 years as I love the simplicity and effectiveness, however since the update happened my clock is not telling the right time. It starts ok with no issue, but I’m constantly seeing that the clock is stuck 1 or 2 hours behind on its display throughout the night when I use it. Can the developers look at that issue and fix the bug please

Unknown Crashes. Hi, I've been using this app for a while now, and just lately (since around last Wednesday) i go to bed with the app on and when i wake up i see that the app is closed. I originally thought that it was because i was sleep walking, but on Saturday (yesterday) i noticed that it happened again and now i think that it crashes but i have no clue why. My IOS is 9.1 (im pretty sure anyway like 95% sure) and it only started crashing recently. Is it possible for it to be an issue on your end, or is it on my end only. I'm using an iPad Mini 1. Thanks for taking the time to read this and i hope that you either release a fix for it or let me know if it is on my side. Aside from whats written above, i really enjoy this app and i rate it a 9.5/10

unreliable. downloaded this a while ago so that i could use my music as my alarm again on my new ipad.. only to find that 99% of the time it wouldnt make a sound.. looks great but despite setting multiple alarms a day none go off. n when i have to be up in the early hours off the morning it has proven to be absolutely useless

Still love this app SO much, but.... I've taken off one star because lately it's taken to asking me to turn on location services every time I open it and I can't see a way to make it stop. Can the developers please program it to stop asking for something after a few refusals? I do not and will not activate location services on any of my devices or apps, so this is extremely annoying.

Garbage. Full of loud ads when setting an alarm, so forget staying quiet when doing it. Soo many annoying ads. What a garbage app. Uninstall it if u have it and get something better.

Faulty. While the app is fully functioning on iPad Pro running the latest iOS the alarm feature doesn’t work on iPhone 7 with IOS. Tried to uninstall and reinstall but still doesn’t work.

Great app.. Great app. Simple to use and a very nice user interface. Leave the screen showing during the night and being able to adjust the brightness is super handy so it's not too bright when you wake up in the middle of the night!

Rubbish because it crashes. An alarm app that will randomly crash through the night and therefore not alarm when you need it is worth nothing. Been late to work many times because this app mysteriously crashes while I'm sleeping. A good app if you want to sleep in, but hopeless if you need an alarm you can rely on. I've switched off every other app, leaving only this running, and it still will randomly crash. Maybe it's the ads that stream through it, maybe it's just broken. Updates haven't fixed it and I advise you to look elsewhere. I've given this thing so many chances it's ridiculous.

Great clock. Great alarm clock, very clear and easy to see at night, I like brightness control and display. Only one annoying thing, when the alarm goes off the display returns to the phone display and then turns off. Needs to be reset each time. Love not having adds after I purchased the app

Uninstall. Downloaded last night and set 4 alarms to wake up for work but only the last alarm to leave the house went off. I was late to work so I am thoroughly disappointed and will uninstall.

Very good. This alarm clock wakes me up every morning for school. It wakes me up real good so I don’t fall asleep again. I like the rooster noise the best. I recommend using this app.

I think I found a winner. I've tried a bunch of alarm clock apps. Of the few that: - have option of a gentle sound rather than a horrible blat - don't require to be the "last app used" to play a nice sound - don't make wrong assumptions about me wanting "snooze" - are quick and easy to silence ... this is the first one that didn't completely stuff up the start or end of daylight saving. I'm in the southern hemisphere. At the end of DST, I might forgive an alarm for being an hour late. Alarm Clock 4 Free did the right thing. A competing product went off an hour early (!). Another competing product went off an hour early on the previous Monday! Srsly, we don't all live in USA! Now I've proven this one works, and seen comments that the developer is interested in fixing bugs, I'll be happy to get the paid version.

Useful but kills Battery. This is a great quality app with lots of options and verstatile while still being very easy to use.. The only problem I have is that it drains the battery like crazy...I have a 1 week old iPhone 4 and it was on 100% charge before I went to sleep and set the alarm on, and once I wake up it's down to 75%..... that's crazy

This app rocks!. I-touch should come with an alarm. But seeing as they don't provide one. I had to find one in the app store. I found this one and it's superb. It does everything I needed it to. In fact I like this app so much I'm going to upgrade it. 99 cents well spent. I recommend it to anyone who has to remember as much as I do. This app is simple to use, and it's loud. Just remember to press save when you program an alarm.

Good but I'm removing this app. The functionality of this alarm is excellent but there's one basic flaw which forces me to delete this even after I paid for the upgrade. There's no means to make the background display completely black or even dark enough. The App has options for theme, foreground and background colours .. but no theme gives a black background and there's no option to select a black background colour. This means the background of the time display is never completely black, there's a glow which reduces the contrast to the numerals and sheds more light into the bedroom than is necessary. Sorry guys, everything else is great about the app .. but I cant accept a non-black background because that's what gives the best contrast and easiest to read display. By the way, is there any risk of screen burn? I had an Andriod clock app where the time display moved slightly every minute, the feature intended to reduce chance of screen burn.

Not bad.. The stupid adds are aaaaannoying!

DO NOT INSTALL!!!. Yes the background and sounds were nice at first. When you try to edit an alarm it doesn’t work and will go off at random. Not only that but it is still ghosting my phone after being uninstalled!!! The sound I used for this alarm is very unique and is not available on any other app that I’ve found. I ONLY have the standard Apple clock installed and turned off, yet somehow this app alarm (with specific sound) continues to go off every day at random times...when it’s not even installed on my phone anymore!!!! Beware anyone thinking about using this app!!!

Stopped Working on IPad. Was working fine. Now when the clock reaches the the set alarm time it just stops, no alarm and the screen freezes.

Scared to update. Now this company makes 2 alarm clock apps. The other one is my first choice when it works then I will use this one. I haven't had issues with this yet but as with the other alarm clock, I'm afraid to update it. Every time they make a update , it doesn't work.

Great. There should be no adds since the company only makes money off of adds and premium subscriptions they don’t really make a lot of money off of adds because most of their adds are apps that are free to download. Overall great app.

Not worth the download.. The volume on the alarm is too low. The snooze button doesn’t work. If you need to get somewhere on time this is not the app for you. Unreliable at best.

Caused me to be late for work. When you hit the snooze button sometimes the app freezes causing the time showing to freeze and of course the alarm never goes off. That’s a major glitch for an alarm app.

No option to play mp3 alarms. One would expect the ability to play an mp3 alarm would be standard for a twenty dollar a year subscription product, but it just has apple music. When clicking add song from apple music, it mistakenly thinks apple music os not installed. Disappointing.

Not reliable. I had given this app a 5-star rating in September 2017 but for the last few months it has been unreliable. The alarm sometimes doesn't go off and recently it has lost its ability to tell time. It goes off four minutes later than it is supposed to. Four minutes, not a big deal but the point of having this app is for the alarm to go off at the time I have set, not four minutes later. I don't know what they've done or haven't done but once I find a workable alternative, I will be deleting this one.

Ads. Got this to add cool wallpaper to my room setup. First thing I see when opening is a big fat ADD and them asking for premium membership. NOPE!! Deleted.

It’s terrible. Don’t get it, the alarm didn’t even go off in the morning and I had 50% on my phone battery when I went to bed and 5% when I woke up.It drained all my battery out!! Oh and you also have to pay 🙄. It’s a waste of time don’t be tempted by the cool colours.

Needs Spotify!. Was really excited for some music to wake up to until I saw that you need music in your iTunes. I only listen to music through Spotify so this doesn’t help me. Looks like a great app if you do though!

Can’t turn off. Alarm goes off in morning and is sometimes impossible to turn off on my iPhone 7. Have been times when can’t even shut down phone. Super annoying !! My wife has same issues on iPhone 6.

Perfect!. Even if you don’t have the subscription, it allows great quality and the sound monitor is great! The only thing I wish they has was more options of the alarm tones but the ones they have are perfectly fine. Alarm does not go off sometimes. I’ve been using this alarm clock app for years and there were rare occasions when the alarm did not go off, but this has been occurring a lot more over the past few months.

No support. I troed to contact the support team for feedback/support, and all I got was a mail delivery failure. So guess I paid for premium to a company that doesn’t have a support team...

No worries about sleeping in!. Great to know that waking up on time, is a thing in the past! There are varied sounds to awake up to with this alarm device! My presence is important at many events & appointments!

Great App. Been using this Alarm Clock now for at least a few years. It’s the best one out there if you don’t need to wake up to Spotify Music. Fade in alarms are a great way to gently wake up. Works if app is open or not. Yet to miss a wake up alarm. How to make it better, include a true black background. Trying to dim the background as low as it goes still gives a faint glow.

Broken. It takes me about 10 times of force closing the app and going back in, starting alarm, clicking lock button and repeating to finally get it to give me a notification that my alarm is set. I am scared to use this app without that notification. Really wish this was fixed. Has been happening for the past 2-3 months every night and its pretty annoying.

Add changes making me delete this app!. Suddenly when I open the app, tired and ready to sleep, I’m forced into an advertisement that I can’t exit. This forces me to close the app multiple times until I can finally lay my head down to sleep. I’m frustrated to the point of looking for a new alarm app after over 10 years using this one! If it have to wait to set my alarm when all I want to do is sleep, then I’m deleting this app.

Clock doesn’t stay on all night.. when I installed this app several years ago the clock stayed on all night and I used it as a night light and clock. Within the last few months it seems a update changed it and it now allows the phone to lock and shuts he clock face off. Please return it to its prior usefulness if having it stay on after the phone screen locks.

What happened to your app. I have had this as my one and only alarm except for the phones built in and loved this app but since the actual iPhone updates and not exactly sure of when you had updated but now the alarm fires off whenever it feels like it waking me up on days I am actually all good to sleep and just starts to fire off whenever it likes please fix this issue and I will definitely rate this app higher!

Notification sound trouble. While it is a great alarm that, lets you pick a ringtone from your playlist, I wish that the notification sounds had a feature where they were shut off and the songs that I pick would just play when the alarm goes off

Used to be good.. The ads no longer disappear after the clock has been turned on. Unlike the original version, The ads never leave the screen while the clock is in use. Update - app issues seemed to have improved. As long as the ads fall off a few minutes the clock works well.

Doesn't work, don't buy. Over the past couple of months it has quit being an alarm clock...it doesn't play any sounds. The screen shows the alarm is going off, the snooze and stop buttons appear, but there is no sound. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Beautiful app, but weak alarms. This is a beautiful display, but it is slanted to IPod music. If you don't have IPod songs appropriate for alarms--or any IPod music for that matter--there are almost no built in alarms that are suitable. Compare to Yocto clock. Please add more alarms!! But with loud peppy music available on your phone this works ideally!!

Don’t use this app..... I’ve been using it for 6 moths. During this past month, my alarm only goes off 60% of the time. My alarm will sometimes work, and other times it will randomly not go off. Numerous times I have only had 10 minutes to get ready because my alarm didn’t go off. I have showed up to school late 2 times, and I can’t make it a 3rd. I am going to uninstall this app and get a different one until you fix this dumb app. This app has caused me to have many stressful mornings. I am so done with this app.

Stopped sounding alarm. This app worked great for a few months. Now the alarm won't 'sound' . All I get are faint- sounding notifications, which I can't always hear. I use this alarm to go to a second job. I've now been late several times. All my settings are correct, volume is up, and battery has good charge. I don't get why this app stopped working the way it did. Now I've got to start all over again. And yes, I did get the 'paid for' version. I'll look for something better, that will keep working!

Clock operation. I absolutely loved it when we could change the contrast of the background, back in the day! That really needs to come back! I understand we can change the brightness of the clock, but there is nothing for the contrast in the background!

Good app!. Would rate higher if it would go back to the version where it didn’t go to sleep. I used it as an alarm clock. Now, it goes to sleep and my phone locks. I have to get through too many steps to silence it. Forget about using the snooze feature....at that point everyone in the house would be awake. Fix this for five stars!

I wish there was some sort of widget for this….. For style and ease of use alone i give it 5 stars but for the simple fact that it could have been better as a widget of some sort aswell i take it to 4 stars. Good clock/alarm none the less.

Loved it for years, great on car head unit. If your car supports screen projection this is a great app when your waiting or you just want a prominent clock. The other features have improved & grown over the years, too, making it a fun, handy alarm clock.

Crashing. I have been using this for years and have always loved it but after the latest update it goes off and crashes. It barely makes a sound then shuts off and when I tap on the app it will start sounding again. Please fix this because it has been my go to alarm for years but I can’t miss work and will need to switch soon if it’s not fixed. Very frustrating to say the least!

Mendel Ofman. I have been using night stand for several years now. It’s a great program, just need a stand you can get on ebay. Activate program when going to bed. It tells the time while its charging. Great program.

Started getting banner ads in paid version. This has consistently been my 5 star go to app on iPhone and iPad for alarm when I travel, but I have to downgrade my rating as the ad banners that I had paid to avoid having as distractors have reappeared, and are sufficiently intrusive and bright as to make the app unusable as a nightstand clock/alarm

Notification..... Been using this app for a long time. Not sure when the update went in that gives me a warning anytime I kill the app that it might not go off when closed. I think that is pretty obvious. I understand you are trying to help, but it is getting quite bothersome and making me consider switching to another app. Other than that, I have been happy using just the basic alarm clock. I have no need for anything else.

Disappointed. I have been using the free app for years. It has started to freeze up when the alarm is supposed to go off. I like the app so much, I bought it. I set the alarm, added my music, and the exact same thing happened. When my alarm is supposed to go off, the screen freezes, and not Happens. I don’t like the images. I have been using this alarm clock for years. It works great but I am tired of the dark, gloomy, and ugly images. I would give five stars if there were images that looked like they taken in daylight and more customization.

Stopped working correctly. I have been using this app to wake up for years. Well, recently it stopped working. This morning, it didn’t sound at all. I happened to wake up and look at my phone. The alarm was on the screen and actually in the process of going off but no sound was coming out. My volume was up and my phone was not on silent. I couldn’t find anything wrong to stop the app from sounding. I was incredibly lucky to wake up by chance or else I’d have been late to work.

Can’t play music. When I first used the app I was able to select songs from my Apple Music library to play when I went to sleep. Now I get a message no songs to be selected. I can see the songs when I go to add more but apps won’t play them. Other than that I love the app.

Was ok, until Royal Match and Monopoly Go ads. Way, way too intrusive. Couldn’t get the clock to rotate when I set my phone on its side…unless you close it and open it again, at which time the oversaturation of the above mentioned pests begins. No thanks. Found a different clock that functions as a clock. That’s all I need.

The alarm takes a star off. I love the design it sounds good and is easily customizable. The app loses a star because of the alarm. I use a iPad mini and I don’t know if the GUI is different on the phone, but if the alarm goes off, the screen won’t show it, only the noise will play. It took me 45 seconds to shut it off.

Awesome but can’t exclude from Screen Time. Five stars after the update a few months ago, great new UI and more LED colors to choose from = awesome. Only complaint is that I like to use this as my bedside clock but iOS 12 counts it for Screen Time and then it tells me I use my phone for 12+ hours a day...

Latest update broke this app. Much like others users, to my horror I woke up late because the latest update completely KILLED this app. However unlike most users, my iPad is NOT on mute. My sound was ON! The alarm SAID it went off and was showing it was going off when I woke up half an hour late, no sound at all coming from my iPad, yet my iPad's volume was 7/8ths of the way to full. Time to find another alarm clock app. if you're looking for a reliable alarm clock star FAR FAR away from this piece of garbage, it no longer works!

Giving up!. I’ve been using this app for a few years now. While it’s pretty reliable, it’s become the worst nagging app I’ve seen in years. Every time I turn it on or turn it off or change the settings, it will give me a warning that it may not work if I do this. So far, it hasn’t warned me that if the sun supernovas tonight, it won’t be able to wake me up in the morning, but I expect to see this warning in the next release. Please stop the madness!

Can’t trust this. This had been my go to app for an alarm clock. But since I upgraded my 6S to iOS 12.4, the alarm would randomly not make sound. The alarm will trigger, the screen shows the snooze and stop buttons like usual, but there is no sound. The write up in this app offering says the designer encourages feedback. I sent an email to them with this complaint and I didn’t even get an autobot reply thanking me for my comments. There are a lot of other free alarm clock apps on the store. I’m going to try for an app I can trust.

Used for years and now constantly pop up adds first thing in the morning and can’t close them. Just turned a really good app into crap no problem with small banner adds at bottom and if I click on them even if I don’t intend to that I’m cool with but blowing up my phone with a full screen locked add Hell No... I payed for the upgrade several years ago so not to get the adds but the it seams like the last update or something changed and started to get the adds so there’s the problem

What Happened?. I’ve been using this app forever and paid for the version with no advertisements. Now that’s all I get is advertisements. Other than that I have never had a problem with this app and it’s worked great. Could have been 5*.

App has changed and not for the better.. In the recent update the ads come on during the night and are incredibly bright. The other change is that the clock no longer turns when put on its side. That was how it sits with my pop socket on my night stand so it can be seen during the night. Now that is no longer an option. Bummer because I really liked this app before.

Annoying ads!. One of the recent updates flashes a big ad almost every time I use it. The ad completely blocks the clock and the phone will go to sleep if you don’t click through. It’s annoying enough to explore other options. Perhaps if there were an ad free upgrade I would stay.

Kool. !. I appreciate this accurate and dependable clock and alarm . However , i wish it had the ability to vibrate since i sleep With the phone close and cannot heard an alarm . Can you help me set this up to vibrate and vibrate strong enough to wake a deaf person ? Thank you. !!!

Don’t buy this app. I downloaded this and used it for awhile and liked it so I bought it. Supposedly the ads would stop, and they did for about a week. Now they are back. Not worth the price if you have to deal with ads all the time. Bunch of crooks!!

One snooze?!?!. I have loved this app until the last update. Now it only let you hit the snooze button once and then the only option is to stop it. That is not working for me. I will be switching to another app.

Inconsistent at best. This (free version) only seems to set music as the wake up sound about 50% of the time, and never when set “for the week.” You have to create a new alarm each time, set your time and playlist/song/whatever, and then you still have a high chance of it sounding off with one of the app’s alarm sounds instead of music. Super frustrating.

Crushes and freezes after last update. I’ve used this app for years and it was wonderful except for minor problems in the normal range. But unfortunately after the last update the app crushes a lot and constantly freezes up every single time that I go to the alarms page and try to edit or click on the green button to turn off any of the alarms that I have set or even to delete or add a new alarm. And it don’t matter what I do( kill and re-start the app or even reboot my phone ) it keeps freezing up. PLEASE HELP !!!

Stick to Simple. This app was good, but, didn’t care for the constant reminder to add/play music. When getting ready, I was looking for a simple digital clock... and that’s it. Nothing more! I’m going with a different app called “simple clock” We shall see if this new app designer can keep it simple. It’s like ordering a cup of coffee... just coffee and cream please¡ nothing more.

What happened?. This has been the only alarm app I’ve used for years. Recently the ads were changed and are so bright and distracting. Then the format of the app changed and the screen won’t rotate. Now…some random alarm keeps going off at weird hours. Yesterday it was 5:50 4 blaring beeps but no alarm set and no way to silence. Last night 2 blaring beeps at 11:30 and then one random loud beep shortly after midnight. I’m deleting the app and getting something else now.

Worked, then didn’t.... Like others, I’ve recently had problems with the alarm simply not going off. I’ve used this app for years and it’s a new and unwelcome development, and I’ve had to turn to other options.

Ads waking me up during the night!!!!!. I have used this app for years. I’ve seen the number of ads increase during that time but I am unwilling to pay the ridiculous fee. NOW the last straw. I am deleting the app tonight. So several times this app woke me up last night blinking bright ads. This is unacceptable!!! Sorry. I have enjoyed using the alarm clock app but I will not tolerate losing sleep because you blink on ads all the time.

Good Alarm Clock. Love everything about it, except the fact that the phone has to lock itself with the app open, or it won't sound the alarm. Lots of great options!

Snooze disappears. I have been pretty happy with this app for some time but the latest update has caused a problem. About two minutes after I hit the snooze button, it completely disappeared. To get it back I have to change the orientation of the phone. Next snooze, same thing. Every time. I use the snooze a lot to let me wake up slowly and this app has great control for it. If this can get fixed I’ll certainly pay for the full version but otherwise I’ll need to find an app that has a working snooze.

Alarm doesn’t sound. I have been using this app for several years now and have the paid version. The alarm doesn’t sound most of the times with airpods on (random). The device isn’t muted and the battery isn’t low (requirements for the alarm to sound). Also, sometimes the alarm doesn’t sound without using the airpods too. It’s not serving the purpose and messing up my schedule.

Good, but annoying now. I have been using Alarm Clock for a while and it generally works pretty well. However, I do hate it sometimes now because the ads that pop up every time I sign onto it. They are very intrusive and annoying.
