Piano DX. I'm very happy with the free piano app. Tones are good and it's easy to move the keys to those I need. When I don't get sound, it means I have turned my iPad so the sound is shut off. It isn't the app.

I love this app!. The only thing about this app that bugs the heck out of me is the constant crashing that takes place every time the app is launched. Other than that, I do have to say that I find my self using it quite often.

Get rid of that dam large "PAUSED - RESUME" button !. I love your app but you gotta get rid of that big Blacked out box saying Pause! It really detracts from being able to learn & seeing all the sheet music. I love the fact you can slow the tempo & that's wonderful but if it's possible to be able to slow it down more and be able to pause it without that blacked out pause/resume box I would be ecstatic! Oh, one more little request. A Rewind Button would be Nice! Thank you !

Memory problems. In the absence of a piano at home, I find it good for picking out the alto part in the songs I'll be singing in church choir the next day. but there seems to be a problem with it taking up a lot of memory on y iPad. It frequently crashes . . .

Awesome. For anyone who writes music can tell you that when you get an idea in your head you need to hear it or write it down so you don't forget it. I really enjoy this app because I write music and there are times when I really need to hear my idea and I'm not home with my equipment. I always have my iPad with me and the fact that this app allows you to adjust the key width to suit your fingers is spot on. The one thing I don't like is the low memory message I get when I hadn't used the app on a while. It usually corrects itself after I reset. Other than that one lil' oops this is a great app.

Piano DX. The app is self is great but it has a few minor bugs like for the first couple days I had the app and i opened it it just closed back... /: that was pretty annoying but it's a pretty good app I require anyone get it!

Nice app. This is a very useful and reasonably priced. Its a bit small on iPod but it is perfectly playable and very helpful for my limited needs. Maybe someday I'll dig a little deeper into the training part but this suits me fine for now.

Seymour2007. I downloaded this app as I used to play the real thing. It has no sound bout the keys and learning information is a good place to start. Fix the sound and I would be happy with this app. I know if it actually works my kids would enjoy it too.

The best. I love the piano I always use the piano at camp and know I have one on my iPod and I show my family my songs on my little piano

Very good. I like the general layout and the metronome features. Have had so low memory warnings appear and the sensitivity of the keys seems finicky. Overall very useful for getting pitches and keeping time.

Great!. Love it. Exactly what I needed to have pitches on hand to lead a choir. I arranged the keyboard so that I have 2 1/2 octaves on the screen (all I need for my group). Perfect for when I don't have a keyboard on hand.

Talking Tom 2. Talking Tom the cat 2 is one of my fav games. And it's free! You can do so many awesome things on it like he will repeat what u say and u can pet him and all kinds of cool stuff. So I would highly recommend u getting this game.

Crashes. It worked great for the first few years i had it. But recently it has been glitching and crashes as soon as i touch any of the options and take me out of the app

Amazingly Functional. It plays like a real piano. You can set it so it shows two rows so I can somehow play with my two hands. It has metronome that you can set. You can change color theme. You can do some other else. For a free app, you can do much. There's one problem though: it says "low memory" and I don't understand why that is so. I hope you can fix that. And one more thing, I hope that you can record what you're playing, and that you can upload that recording so you can play along with it and add more chords and/or tabs, and then record it again. That would be so much more fun and fantastic. I will completely love this app. But for now, I like it. I say it's worth getting.

Great. The only problem is when you play two keys

Plays like a piano. really plays and sounds like a piano. very helpful in learning music esp. while on the road for business.

Love it. I learned to play great songs and only problem is the sound doesn't work sometimes and when u press to keys otherwise great!

Piano App. Really fun to play along with little kids while they sing. Entertains them as long as you want to play. And builds their confidence as they sing.

Amazing app. I'm a musician who pus the standard 3 (drums, guitar, bass) and was looking for a good app to learn and play piano while having a stable app to record keys to my music. This app totally fulfilled my needs and then some, the duel boards is an amazing feature and I still haven't figured out how to work the pedal button. After downloading this take some time to tweak your keyboard options for width and length to maximize comfort. Overall 11 out of 10!!

Great app. Its a great app but i wish i could lock the tool bar so I dont accidentaly hit it when I change the keyboard position.

Awesome!. Such an awesome app. Why listen to other folks' music when you can create your own? Don't know how to play piano? Try this app. You might surprise yourself.

One of the best apps ever!. Love this app! So glad I found it. My girls and I fight over my iPhone now just to play Piano DX. It's fun. Easy to learn. And has all our favorite piano pieces. Highly recommended, especially to entertain children in lieu of video games.

Simple...Efficient. I love that I can spot check memorization of newly learned music, or learn a bit of it virtually anywhere with this app. Whether on my iPhone or iPad, I can 'plunk out' a vocal line and set a tempo with relative ease using this app. Thank you very much!

Lovely, lots of fun.. I had problems with the mute setting so sound did not work. Got immediate response from ap support. Fixed the problem, now it works well. Fun to play with.

Quick. Open up the app in just a few seconds when you need it. I did have to download a second time, but glad I did.

Neat pocket tool with potential. I write music and i never know when an idea will hit. If I gotta figure out what those notes are real quick, I pull out my mini piano. It's also a great learning tool, just not the way the app is written for. If I want to learn some Beethoven, I set this thing on top of my actual piano at home and turn down the tempo. Then I watch the screen and follow along slowly on actual keys. I have a hard time reading sheet music, so the audio/visual aspect is a good combination. Two things I wish this app did- allow you to record simple ditties, and rewind while in practice mode. If I need to go back because I missed something, I have to start the song all over again. Annoying.

This is an awesome app!. This is just what I wanted, plus there were songs and customizing features that made it even better. This app is flawless!

Useful. I find this app very useful for working on new music when I am not anywhere near a real keyboard.

Lovely. Sounds just like my mom's old wooden piano, lol. On iPad 2 I get no crashes whatsoever. Very responsive with seemingly no limit to how many fingers you can put on the screen or how rapidly you can play. Like the real deal :D

Very helpful!. This app has been very helpful in changing and setting keys! My wife and don worship music for our church. Right now my key board is at church. So, I find the key she wants to sing in and she leads the singing and operates the computer to get songs on the screen. right now this app has been a life saver! I have never had a a problem or crash.

Lost song pack. I bought Classical: favorites 1 and I was able to play the songs. I turned my iPad off and came back to it 30 minutes later. When I went to play the song again it said I didn't purchase the music pack so I basically just wasted $.99. Please help I want to learn how to play Für Elise.

Use it often. This app is my go to for notes when rehearsing. User friendly.

App Crashes. The app is good when it works. It takes at least 5 times of launching the app before you can play the keyboard because it crashes every time you click on play, learn, or options.

Just what I need. Moved to an apartment sans piano, and this is just what I need to check my pitches for choral music. Any drawbacks are because of limited iPad screen real estate, not the app's problem.

Pretty nice tool. I use this app to practice piano on the go - on the subway, on my lunch break - and it's been helpful. It sometimes crashes for no apparent reason, and I have to launch two or three times, but it's a minor inconvenience. I recently discovered the metronome function, which is adding to my development of keeping time. Thanks!

Love it. I'm new at composing and looking forward to my Toni and Grammy. In the meantime this simple app helps me on my iPad go to a cafe (with my earplugs), compose and listen to my future award-winning songs.

Nice reliable app. Not as fancy as some of the other piano apps (no velocity sensing) but sounds good and works quite well! It responds quickly unlike most free piano apps I tried, and won't crash like many others.

Fun app with good selection of songs for children.. My 7 and 9 year old loves this app. And I love the songs. Not overflowing with hip hop or those types of songs. Thank you!

Fun mini piano. This app is amazing--truly useful and great sound. I use it primarily as a tool to help me practice vocals--I can play my part with the assurance that it is accurate even without the aid of a full-size piano. Plus, it's just plain fun!

Cool. It works well for what it's supposed to do :) I only wish it had more volume and that it could maybe have each "C" numbered starting from the basic scale (middle of piano) going up. That way when yu slide the keys over you don't get lost or forget how far up yu went

wouldn't run. i got this as the first app on my new iPad 2. upon opening it, the app said that my device was running low on memory and to delete some pictures or videos. but there were no pictures or videos to delete. would not recommend this app.

Very Handy Little Keyboard. I sing with a Men's chorus and when working on my part between rehearsals I need to check the meter or the music for my part this amazing app substitutes as miniature keyboard when I don't have access to a piano. It is the only useful keyboard app I've found and is one of the most reasonable in price. I especially like the two level keyboard as it covers the entire range of the vocal part. Very clever. Highly recommend!

Very good. This is surprisingly good. And it's free. On my wish list, i am hoping the following can be added 1). A jump bottom where user can jump one note of full octave. 2). A longer sustain will be nice. 3). The top control panel can be hidden. May there a third row of key can be added. 4). Make the key shifting discrete instead of continuous. In summary, great app.

Great musician's app !!. I'm a professional bassist & find this app very helpful ! I can write bass lines while away from my bass traveling . Also very handy for vocal harmony rehearsing !!

Decent!. The "teach" feature is difficult. It's hard to play so quickly and scroll at the same time; it's not really useful. That being said, this is a great app for little melodies and working things out on the road. I use it a lot with my a capella group to find pitches etc. it's a good thing to have, the ads aren't obtrusive and it's free. A great download.

Great but still need debugging. This app made me fall in love with playing the piano again. However it locks up A LOT and I have to force quit the app or restart the iPad before it works again. Still like it.

Needs 1 more thing to be 5 stars. Please! Please! Please! I've been dreaming of an app that has a recording button, and you could play while listening to the recording. Please! Sometimes when I travel and get piano sick, I want to play something, but not only 1 hand. Please listen to my suggestion. Thank you!! :)

No sound?. Hoping by writing this review that I get sound... It also keeps saying I have very low memory and to restart app or device, very strange as I have about 8GB left

Bravo!. This really helped me. This and Piano Man taught me how to play the piano I love that it has all keys! As all the others only have 5 keys or 6 keys.

I'm annoyed -.-. Kso, I was really looking forward to it and then it said that I didn't have enough memory, which keeps happening :/ and I checked how much i did have and it clearly said I had 14 gig left..??

Upside down. Great sound but it's annoying when the learn to play option only allows you to play upside down. It's a simple flip screen command!!!

It okay. I love playing the piano but the piano is to long and i dislike it when i have to press the arrows to press the other keys, bur its a good effect!! It would be perfect if you fix that problem. o and its a bit slow to responded sometimes.

Bugs. Not bad for a free app but the title page is always upside down. Kinda looks like it was ripped from garage band into PowerPoint or something.

Perfect for me. I am studying jazz. Right now, I am learning improv from a book of examples. I can take the book with me on vacation with my iPad and play the snippets of melody. I do not need my big piano for this study. And it is kind of fun to play on the iPad. Thanks so much for this app!

I Can Only Wish!. I think I would like this app but every time and I mean every time I try to open it, it crashes. What's the point if it disses me without letting me press a single key. When will the big get fixed? I am a piano student.

Okish. It's an ok app

Helpful!. I use it to practice tunes in preparation for choir practice. A good feature is being able to modify the key sizes simply. I haven't yet figured out how to have more keys in use without having them too tiny to use well.

Fun for a frustrated keyboardist. A fun app with some possibilities for usefulness, but it always opens upside down on my iPad 2 and won't turn around, forcing me to use my iPad 180 degrees from how I like to hold it with my cover in place.

Love it above all others. But can't read tutorial. It's the best for helping singers find the pitches. But the tutorial can only be read if I copy and paste to notepad! How do I change the letter colors so they're readable?

Piano XD. This is the best piano I've used for the iPod u should totally get this if u love playing the piano and is interested in learning new songs

Not updated in.... This app doesn't work anymore. Since it hasn't been updated since 2010, I suspect it won't run under iOS 9 or 10.

Nice. This is really helpful when I'm away from my piano and I am writing. That way I can hear exactly what I am writing down. It's probably one of the better piano apps for free.

Barely above a toy piano. Sounds of the individual notes are inconsistent like the sounds one would get from a damaged or out of tune piano. Also, the pedal key is not functional.
