Beautiful Fun Relaxing. A lot of fun. Move you fingers around the screen and see what happens. Guess what? You can play your own ipod music while playing with this app! Just start the ipod music playing before you start the app and the music will continue playing after you start the app...what a pleasant surprise!! The only addition that I think would be nice would be if there was a way you could save and playback your sessions.

WOW!!!. I have to say... I wouldn't ever think about paying for an app like this... So I'm glad it was free. However, this has changed. I would pay for this. It's a great stimulating app that can be a lot of fun. I played with this for a while alone but also added a couple friends after a bit. Even more fun!!! Thank you!!!!

Freakin' awesome to the max and totally radical. So, this is the most fun waste of time ever...botanical substances or not. What would be awesome is to be able to record your mini orchestras and watch them on your iPad later. Any chance of getting this?

Dude awesome!. The people who don't get this app don't have the brain capacity of a squirrel crushed on the pavement. This app just stuns me, it's gorgeous and has tons of different "settings" depending on how many fingers you put and where you put them. Great in short bursts of entertainment. Makes me want to get an iPad just for the ten-finger settings. This is art. Please make more! Also, to see something awesome, put four fingers in the corners and one in the dead center, light speed!

Good. I hate this app...on my iPod. It rocks on an iPad though! The iPod won't let you do all of the possible finger combinations. On an iPad, you can get up to 7 fingers and it will respond differently every time. This is a must have! Ps look for me on Battlefield 3 (sidneyN)

This app makes me think about.... When I use this app I start to ponder why...Most People do not know what Monsanto is yet 99% of them are eating GM food made by them. Monsanto does not want you to know that they even exist yet you eat their products everyday. Why? Cuz GM Food does not need to be labeled. We need to fight for GMOs to be labeled on a state level. Write your state officials and tell them you want GMOs to be labeled in your state. Research-Inform Others-Take action

Sujestions to keep my kid amused. You could add a settings page To controll options and attitude of your app to alow a more in depth experience and keep costomers involved and interested with this app. Settings page could have.... Select the collor or collors of particles tilt gravity options (on off)were u tilt it and all particles flow were u tilt it. Maby you could add a slider controlling the life span if the particles were they dont just go away after a second, you could have them live n bounce around a while or somthing making cool designs. Aswell as the distance or radious the particles fly And how violent they fly off or just speed. Maby chose how they fly off, so smooth arcs will look more like fireworks Or zig zag particle trails so it looks like electricity shooting out your fingers and patterns. An option were u could draw a line and the particles would constantly flow from ur drawing in a cool way. So u could have a epic sparkly smily face or whatever my kid draws. And with gravity tilt on u could make the sparkly smily grow a beard and cry or be on fire or somthing. If you allow costomers to make drawings and have alot of different options to make it look cool, theyll sit there for a long time making different pics and doing different options to see how there drawing will act.

Very Interesting. I enjoy this app. I was pretty sure it was going to be one of those apps you use once and then delete. However, it has made it a week now, and I love it. Make other physics apps please!

Great. Gee, the people hat give low ratings must have no imagination, one finger is an eclipse or if it's red, it's magma on the earth, two fingers is he making of animatter by using the friction of proton and electrons, three is something random, 4 in rag corner makes a black hole, pressing the black hole makes a colorful sea effect, touh te sides of the Blake hole and you get a laser!

Totally Fun. I thought I would get bored of it quickly but I end up playing with it for 30 minutes. A lot of different ways to move the particles! I would recommend this it is totally fun!

Best mindless time waster in the AppStore!. I can't tell you how many hours I have wasted in boring meetings playing with this app. For me, it makes monotonous situations bearable. Great time waster when playing a game on your iPad is too "inappropriate". The addition of sticky fingers has been a welcome improvement on this app.

Best distraction yet. Got a few minutes to kill? Get this app. Way better than any game I've downloaded to help pass those 5 and 10 minute holes in your day while your waiting.

Buy. This app is great. Although I wish they could make an update that makes it interactive with the music your listening to. Other than that this app is . An I do suggest there should be like a help thing where you could change the mode idk what modes but please make some. Great job!

Great Particle Engine - Better than most paid apps!. Pavel Doichev really knows his way around a particle engine. This is my favorite interactive particle visualized so far. It has a few frame rate issues where the iPad's screen stutters - but it's not so bad that it's distracting. Lots of fun - especially for free.

Gotta say it again. This app is super awesome! Would like tesla lab sound fx with it, thus making it super-duper awesome!! Tracks playing in background isn't the same. I want sound fx that coincide with the light fx, is that asking too much of a free app? Anyway this app is cool, creating flowers, fireworks, whirlpools, figure eights etc...so much mesmerizing fun!

Hate. I hate this game so much it’s so boring and I can’t play this game because it’s too boring

Menu. The sticky finger option adds some fun. It would be nice if it were really sticky fingers. i.e. Allowed more than one point to stick. While being able to hide the the menu is nice, it's not really totally hidden. The small menu return circle in the corner keeps you from being able to tap the corner. How about a shake for the menu to return? I'm glad I got the app on promotion. I'm not sure I'd of paid for it. All things said it's still a fun app.

This app is amazing.... This is amazing. I have just wasted about an hour messing around with it, and I'm still finding new things. Try adding one finger at a time and you may find ten of hundreds of patterns that this can make.

It's neat for a while. Let's get this out first: this is a shallow application that isn't so much a game as it is a gadget to toy with for a few minutes and entertain young children. But it is neat looking and has very fluid animation which seems oddly fitting as the particles really do look as if they belong more to a biology experiment at times rather than something related to electricity. A neat toy but will probably be deleted within a day or two by most. -Anguawolf

Lots of fun. Keeps you entertained for a long time. The kids love it. Allows multiple little fingers to touch and make things happen. So many other kids games only recognize one finger touching at a time.

So amusing.. This is one of those apps for an "I'm bored and want to utilize the fact that my phone has a multitouch screen" moment. It really is fun to play around with (that's what she said...), and if it had slightly crisper detail, it would be perfect. However, this is probably in my top 5 used apps, and it's also free. GET IT NOW.

Captivating. While it's not an app that you'd play with for a real long time in any one sitting, nor does it really "do" anything. But its really is beautiful app on iPad or iTouch and I have to admit I play with it fairly often just as a stress buster. My toddler loves playing with it too. we'll turn off all the lights and play with it in a darkened room or in the car at night. Really captivating and intriguing.

The Fun On Messing Around With The Electricity Lightnings. It really is fun playing this game on messing around with the electricity lightnings and making different shapes, sizes and positions of the electricity lightnings and for how many fingers you can put on your own screen to mess around with all the electricity lightnings.

Worth every tap.. There are so very few Free apps that are even worth it. A lot of them are free but don't work until you buy something from within the app... But this one is so fun and cute. Everyone from the seven year old to the bored stoner to the grandma who accidentally downloads it will love this app. This is how you get people to enjoy your brand and gladly pay for future apps you may develop.

Wow!. At first, I didn't know if I would like it ... Seemed almost pointless. I tried it anyway and I was wrong. It is so enjoyable to play this and watch everything change and have fun exploring the multitouch options. I highly recommend giving it a try!!

Simply Incredible!. This is what makes the iPad such a cool thing to own. This app provides an amazing display light and movement. It's hypnotic! It's also, as another reviewer pointed out, a quite accurate simulation of particle physics. I'm going to try a few of the other apps like Zen Garden. Fantastic work!

Ba-buggin Out. For what it is, by far the best of it's kind. I've tried a few apps like this in the past 2 years, and they are pretty good as well, but this one nails it. 5 stars for not taking up a lot of space and a cool little thing to look at for a while. 

Totally awesome!!!!!!!!. I was app searching and o found this app. I love it. I showed it my grandma and she didn't want to give the iPad back!!!!! Then I showed it to my mom and she did the same!!! I can't wait to show this to my brother (but he better not do the same)!!!!!!!!

Why?. Why is the button to make the menu appear at one end of the screen, and the button to make it disappear at the other? Would have been nice to simply tap to toggle. And who's really going to bother taking a pic of the image anyways. Its a worthless feature. The system wide screen pic capabilty works just as well. Liked the fact there was no menu distractions in the previous version better. Thanks for the retina display update tho.

Really entertaining. Great update! Although the picture button sometimes doesn't seem to work, and when I do touch it the design that is happening sometimes stops. Please fix, maybe just make button size bigger

sweeeetttt. this is hours of fun. so many combos and they all look rlly awesome and is fun to do. only thing is I have to use extra fingers to take the picture (the home button and top button pressed at the same time takes picture of screen). plz fix it to where one may take a picture of the art they created.

Grrr!!!. I love this app im soooo glad i got it while it was free my friend also got it while it was free but then a classmate wiped out her whole ipod so when she went to go look for tesla toy... It wasnt free anymore i think u ppl should read these reviews and answer them and maybe not be cheap and have tesla toy be free for a year its not worth money although i love it its not worth Any money so listen to my opinion and have it go FREE!!!

What's the point?. I do like this app and its cool to mess around with the lights and stuff, but what's the point of it? Unless there's something else I haven't discovered yet (I only recently got this app), there's really no point. I don't really get it. However I don't want to leave this on a bad note so I'll say again, it's still pretty fun to mess around with! ❤️

Love it!. Must download! Downloads fast, and is addicting! No adds to! And doesn't crash, no bugs, very entertaining. Please make more ways to play with the sparks somehow, thanks! I have seen paid for apps and you can't even compare to this app, and then when it's free, AND THEN WHEN IT HAS NO ADDS!!!! This app is wonderful, in my top 15 most best apps ever and will be forever apps, don't think twice, listen to me! So awesome!. This app is trick. I love it. Kids love it. Mother loves it. Babies love it. My cat has an incredible love for it. My ONLY complaint: inability to record direct to iPad memory as a movie file. The ability to record and playback what you create is a feature that SHOULD put this app at the top.

So awesome. This is the best I'm-shiny-play-with-me app I've found yet. Definitely worth getting. I find much amusement in figuring out how to make different patterns. And dang, the developer has some clever stuff going on, and the dynamics of it are great. Once you can manipulate it at will there's almost an artistic feeling to it. I love it!

Amazing. This app is GREAT!!! It is so addicting. Me and my friends just have fun with all the colors and the pictures it makes. Even better is that it's free!! :). One suggestion is to make it have more animations instead of it just going still when you have a certain amount of fingers on the screen.

The latest in kewl tech. I'm hooked already. It's just one of those relaxing, fun, don't have to think, type of APPs. It goes from looking like a universe to whatever you can imagine. I'm enjoying it.

Pro-review (read). Good game. Great time killer, does get boring/repetitive though. Very fun to experiment. All in all, I would say even though it will not appeal to everyone, you should still download it and try it out. I enjoy it. Even though it is simple, it will keep anyone from an infant to an adult entertained for at least a small period in time. For a free game, it is worth the time to try.

Awesome, but can be better. It would be great If you can play a song from your iTunes and create a video on screen by recording both the audio and video. Like live musical art. This way you can play it back without your fingers in the way. Then you can post it and share your creations. This works great with Pink Floyd, and no I do not do acid! lol

Best app I've found!. This is the best playtime for me! It makes me feel like I'm a child watching a magic show! I'm 31 now & this is the 1st blown-away app for me! I can't believe how cool it is! Put it this way: this is the best app to use to show off how amazing and stunningly visual this gadget is!

Amazing. I don't usually write reviews unless it gives me something in-app, but I felt the need to write this because of the surprisingly low download and ratings numbers. I highly recommend this if you like wasting time, relaxing, creating art, pretty much anything. Even when I deleted many apps to make room on my phone, I kept this because it's just that great. It's a free app...what are you really losing?

Usability. I like this app, the usability is great. Although I think the color should change when the device is shaken but other than that I've tried taking screenshots but the image doesn't always come out well. Overall great app

To Coolridr. @ Coolridr : you can get this app without having to pay for it. All you have to do is go to your settings and scroll sown until u see the store symbol, click on it and sign out of your account then sign back in under your wife's account. After u do that go to the app store and click on it to buy it, when it starts loading it a window will pop up saying "you have already purchased this app, would u like to download it again for free?" and you click on yes. And there ya go you got the app for free. Just remember when it's done downloading to sign out of your wife's account and back into yours. An apple rep told me how to do this, actually several told me how lol. Good luck and happy downloading. 

Great for the kids. My baby daughter loves this app. She loves to bash my ipad and watch the colours. Great way to sit and play together.

Needs sound. Awesome fun, but where's the sound??

Very cute. I only just realised the problem with fireworks is not being able to control them with my fingers. This apps solves that problem once and for all.

Uzu is better. I purchased this because I read reviews stating it was better than Uzu - it has one mode and although the screen play is good, it quickly becomes boring. Uzu has so many variations available I regret thinking this would compare.

Entertainment for idiots. Every time my friends play with my iPad this is always the first app they open, it really is entertaining and I don't really know why. It would be cool if when u take a screen shot it made the pic smother (anti-aliasing) and a higher resolution because it looks very nice and sometimes I print them

A vast improvement on Line Art, this apps beats Uzu and Midnight hand down, and all others apps of this type that I have come across too - fine tuned and finely detailed, extremely reactive and responsive, more colorful, varied and totally mesmerizing - I love it! It's good but.... I'd give this five stars if there was an easier way to push the screen shot. By the time you got some cool looking pattern, you have about 3-6 fingers in use, then 2 more to take the pic. That's 5-8 fingers. :( I don't see how you could fix that problem.

Really good time burner. I'm not really the kind of guy that install creative or beautiful apps, but this one I maked an exception. It's so good when you have nothing to do or you need to wait, and even your friends will it, like when you're 4 on the same device. This is hours that won't see passing. And it's way better with music ;)

1.99!?. I got this app when it was free, and then reset my iPod and tried to download it again. To my surprise, the price went from free to $1.99!!! This is a great free app, but definitely not worth $1.99..

Liked the first version better.. This is a very good app and I would say worth the money at the least.. I've been playing with Tesla Toy since the first version and loved it on the first try, but I recently updated the app thinking it would give more variety to the random cool looking patterns I was making... It didn't instead it became much more repetitive on the patterns, not much to do when you know what makes what style pattern. Also, the actual feel of the original is not there. I would give it a 5/5 if it still kept its old school style. On the side note: The sticky finger feature is awesome, I always wanted to take pictures of what random inventions I made on it. LoL.

Please bring back original version 1.0. Love this app, great job, but please do not fix what's not broken! Now I feel annoyed/nervous when I tap, because of the way the electric lights behave from the touch point when forming that circle. They alternate quickly and erratically and it's actually quite annoying and creates a worrisome state of mind, instead of calming down, like 1st versions did. Please bring back the original version 1.0 behavior, while keeping the sticky fingers, and orb intact. Thank you. And keep it up!

Fun. This app is pretty darn fun. But something that would make it better is achievements. For example, managing to create a vortex with three fingers, or making the pixels turn a certain color. That would be great

Perfect for the ADD. App is very addictive and depending on your personality type it is a great way to waste time or pass time. I wouldn't buy the app though because it has no objective but I'm so glad I got it while it was free =)

Makes cool wallpapers. It's really cool to take a snapshot of your screen and use your pics as a wallpaper. To take a snapshot of your screen you just press the home and power buttons at the same time (can be tricky).

Magic. I love this app because when I make pictures to set as my background, I feel like it is magic to my finger!

Good App. Telsa Toy is an amazing App but Atomic toy has 4 more modes and one mode very similar to telsa toy. So buy Atomic toy it has more modes more options and an option called sticky fingers were you can admire your work this app doesn't have that. Atomic toy is just a better buy.

Need more. When you hold down the screen it you should be able to change more than a circle

Very Calming App. I love this app; it's so simple, yet so fun. It's quite calming to watch the screen change as your finger(s) moves across it. Hopefully the next update will ability to play my own music with the Tesla Toy?

Was free now its 2 bucks what the heck??. really cool app. loaded on my wifes new ipod touch last weekend and it was a free app, now it costs $1.99. I was going to load it on my iphone but i aint paying for something that was free a week ago, its not that great.

Amazing!. All that could make it better is a settings menu or a small list of hand gestures that create cool effects. Um hooked on it just finding all the different combinations.

Strangely addicting. A fun little game. It helps me relax. The only things I can ask for are sound effects(electricity or something) and maybe some nice background music

Solid simple. This is a simple app with few features, but it's solid coding and interesting algorithm makes this free app interesting still. Paired with Photoshop express, amazing graphics can be created from screenshots :D hardly worth 2$ tho, maybe 1$ would be more appropriate

SO AWESOME. I got this game and for a while it was really fun  then i got bored with it so i stopped playing it, and then, my little sister wanted to play games on my phone, and I wasn't about to download a Dora game or a shape game or something like that so I set her up on this and she loves it! An applause for this game

Great!. This and Line Art are beautiful and fast (on ipod touch 4 and ipad). My only complaint is that it doesnt go right into the program when u start it up, like Galactica. Some music wouldnt hurt either. :) - i dont keep many apps, but this one and Line Art have found a permanent spot on my iPT.

Simple but amazing. I love this app, the best free one I've seen in a long time. I use this app to put a background on the center screen for church using the VGA compatibility. I defiantly won't be deleting this app any time soon!

Neat, but lacking. If it wasn't an app that I used once and got bored with, this would be a nice app. It's a gorgeous app, but that's it. There's not much to do other than to rub your fingers on the screen, and there's much more productive things I can do to kill time. I agree with some of the earlier reviews that music and a menu would be nice. Perhaps some chillout trance tunes?

Awesome. No bugs, no crashes, works perfectly as it is. However, it could use some color changing settings or something to customize with.

Great app.. This app has great graphics and it interacts well with your finger movement. I love it. I just wish there would be a little more to the app. Maybe if a paid version came out for say $0.99, with more content, I would definitely consider buying it.

Patsweety. This is a good app it keeps your mind going and going and it occupied me for a good while it's constantly changing rats what so good about this app keep up the good work. Oh it helps in babysitting too if you got a fussy baby. Thanks

Incredible!!!. On it's own, Tesla Toy is simply a fun app. Messing around with it is quite soothing. However, mix it with some of your favorite tunes and even withOUT any "herbal assistance" this is a very relaxing app with which to unwind. Super fun!!!

Amazing app. Extremely creative when you touch it with multiple fingers it makes different patterns and color it is just amazing

Awesome. Very fun app but after you take a picture you should be able to view it before it saves.

Screen capture. Want a goal for this game? Try to take a screenshot while making a cool design. The ability to take a screen capture is 3 button clicks. Google it. I made some cool wallpaper this way.

Gorgeous!. This not only entertained me, but my entire family as well. Now a few of us own it and think it's beautiful. I do agree that it needs sound though.

Very beautiful made. Very cool I love it however I want new features in it like the ability to design shapes for example create the apple logo by using sticky fingers feature so please add this new feutures please other wise it's a very good and awesome app

Amazing!. This game is amazing, and works great, but when you take a picture, it says "saving picture", however, when you view your pictures, none of the pictures are there. Are they stored somewhere else or something?

Music!!!. The one thing I would love to have is if you could synchronize music with the game!!!!! Have the things change color with each beat!!! Great game hours of entertainment!!

Fun app. If you time to waste this app is perfect. It is enjoyable for a couple of minutes at a time, and you can play multiple times without getting bored! It truly is amazing.

How????. Is it possible that this app is number one? If you like moving your finger across a screen, you'll love playing this "game." The effects are elementary and even with some updates or improvements, it would still be horrible. Maybe if you're high it could be cool. So glad I didn't pay for this crap; I deleted it after first-use. Save the time & DO NOT download this app.

Wow!. At first I saw it and said "that looks like a dumb one". Then I decided to get it. Not sure why. I as it was downloading i immediately regretted it. That is, until I tried it. Now whenever I have time I get to do two things at once. Lol.

Amazing. I love this app it's truly inspiring, it can handle up too 5 points of contact and my favorite is 4 points , 1 finger on every corner of the screen makes a perfect circle of chaos.

If you have an ipad. Get this.. The app is ok with only 5 fingers max and a little screen, but the ipad is even cooler. Its in HD. The screen is bigger. Its multi touch can sense over 10 fingers/other body parts. Its also free

This gets 6 out of 5 stars.. This is q great and simple little app. Truly embraces the power of the iPad. I hope you come out with a Sequel!!! IF it coats 10 dollars, I'd still buy it! (after reading. Few reviews, of course, lol.)

Great for infants!. Bought this for my 18 month old grandson. Took him less than a second to stop crying and play. An hour later, he was still captivated by all the colors and swirls that HE was controlling. Not much for adults, but for kids.....GREAT!

Must see AND FREE!. Gorgeous, engaging, relaxing, invigorating visuals that respond to multiple touch points at a time. (Try four points in a square, then pan and zoom your "square" around. Have someone else touch the center, and be amazed.) So cool.

SO COOL!! . OMG I just got this app and I'm already addicted to it! I wish you could rate 1,000,000 stars! Lol! This is not a waste of time! And the best part is is that it is FREE!  PS if you touch all 4 corners at the same time it makes a big ring in the middle! :D

Amazing. I love the app, good way to waste time, but would like if they would make little shows when you listen to music.

Great foreplay!. Laid down on the bed with my wife and showed her this awesome free app with the lights off...first with my fingers to show her how, then she tried it by herself, then both of us together culminating in orgasmic explosions of light!!! Then we turned off my iPhone........ and tried it again.

Perfect. I wish you could record your designs though. That way you could design something to the rhythm of a song and play it back later!

Well, Obviously.... The 5 and 10 settings it's talking about are by using your fingers. every time you touch the screen with 2 or more fingers, it reacts differently.
