Trip Boss is great program. I find that Trip Boss is an easy app to use. The only thing that I find not working well is the fuel mileage calculator.

Not very happy. OK but much too complex for the leisure traveler and I am not finding it intuitive, despite having drafted business budgets. Inadequate explanation on how to use and as-you- go help or prompts. If you are a traveler on a daily budgeted amount, No way to enter that. The reports are even less easy and helpful to see how you are doing daily.

It freezes updating exchange rates. I have been pleased with this app for several years on pleasure trips. Now it only freezes updating exchange rates and you cannot get into the app.

Trip Boss is Great. Been using it for almost a year and love it ! The ability to email reports is really good. Thanks for a solid dependable product.

Rip Off. Install a get a warning this app will not work in future version of iOS should of warned me before spending the money what a rip off.

From basic to finely detailed. This app's got what I need. Enter a little, enter a lot. It's got all my requirements, too: photo receipts is a must have for me. I love the red/yellow/green lights for expense report status. I've already customized my expense reports--just have to email the itemized report to my admin. Super easy. Recommend this app!

A good easy way to keep track of a trip.. I went to Europe with two friends & kept track of all expenses with this app. Easy & well done, nice to have the currency conversions done for you as well as the ability to photograph the associated receipts. I hope to see an easy way to split up costs, eg: at the end of our trip make a report that tells you who owes who - when different people are paying for meals/hotels that are split equally it would be luxurious to know. Thanks!

Ok. Does what it says it will, but for my purposes it is more complex than it has to be. More info for each trip has to be entered than in other similar apps. Also where is the GPS function to auto enter mileage? Photo records of receipts is clever, but one can do that without this app. For now I will stick to the app I was using.

Please add all currencies!!!. Seems like a decent app but not useful for me as doesn't include Mozambique Metecais currency.

Great app--> AND Easy to use Features. I was looking for an app that would allow me to track expenses outside of my financial software. To budget for a family trip was near impossible with spending lots of time reporting in my software. This app makes it easy for me to see and to track expenses so I don't miss any! Thank you!

unusable. app has no delete capability for itinerary entries!!!! unbelievably amateurish.

Full featured app that saves me money. I bought Trip Boss for my wife who's a frequent business traveller. She has an iPhone, but she hadn't found the right tool for managing her trips. This app has everything she was looking for: it easily tracks multiple trips by purpose, trip expenses, and their reimbursement. I expect that Trip Boss will quickly pay for itself.

Mileage log incomplete.. Mileage log not usable for IRS purposes. Wasted $4.99!!!!!!

Works well, as advertised. Used it on vacation to stay on budget. "Filled the bill", so to speak, on iPhone. Now tired old eyes view it on iPad (bigger type). Any chance of iPad version soon? Enzo

Love it!. App is easy to use, has tons of features to suit most people's needs. Of course you can't please everyone. There will always be someone who is not satisfied. I find this app to be very customizable, and feature rich. You can basically track anything you want for a trip or a vacation. What I like about it is that you can put as much information or as little as you want for your specific type of tracking. Also there is the ability to download additional modules that integrate seamlessly into the app which you may find useful. Only shortcomings are no ability to back up or export data. Also no sync capabilities between devices so you will have to choose which device you want to use it on. Hopefully these will be features added in the future, but for right now doesn't look like that will happen. But with that all said I still feel this is an excellent app. A lot of work went into creating it. That becomes apparent as you start to use it. Very happy I downloaded it. I think you will to.

Great App. Best I've found. Worked great overseas based on currency conversion

Highly polished, fully featured, travel tool. I have several kids, and trips can be an expensive nightmare when nobody is keeping track of what is being spent. Trip Boss allows me to set up a trip budget beforehand, and easily track/modify everything, so all I have to worry about is how many times I have to go on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride with my seven year old. Great app, from a great developer! Update: The optional Itineraries package is a terrific add-on to an already great product. What a great way to let buyers pick and choose what they want in their trip planning app, without having to pay a hefty price for stuff they may not need. Hopefully more packages will be added in the future.

Financially Freeing!. Four days into our trip and can't imagine ever having to budget a vacation without it. Absolutely best travel app we have!

Great driving trip app. I have used this app on several driving trips. It handles conversions well for US measurements to metrics and dollars and pesos. A great productivity tool.

Good but better report out. I've tried a bunch of these apps now. I want a simple app that doesn't give away my personal info to a server who knows where it's or for someone to scan my receipts and look at them. This program does it. It offers multiple day trips, it's bug free so far for me, which none of the other ones I tried were. The one thing that would make this perfect for me is a single PDF output where the expenses and receipts are output in a single document I can archive and email... Csv is fine but please for a paid app, I would expect a better report. But hey this is pretty good!

Finally!. Many of us former Palm users have been awaiting this wonderful app. Once we get all the other modules that came with the Palm version, I'll give it 5 stars. If the introductory version is any indication, the complete version will be destined for "App of the Year." Great work, people, for making this available.

Review. I just want something to keep track of expenses on our trip. It sounded good when I bought it. This is complicated and not logical. I can’t figure it out. I requested answers to some questions and never received an answer.

Freezing on Update currency screen. I’ve been using this app for years and it is essential for helping me stay within a budget when traveling. However for the last few days it has been stuck on the currency update screen and is now unusable. Please release an update fixing this problem.

Keep expenses tracked. Very good. Professional themed and very reasonable priced. Keep sgood track of expenses and alows for "budgeted" travel planning.

Pretty good. Interface is a little inefficient has a bit of a learning curve. But overall worked well for my first trip with it.

Excellent App. I started using this app to track my expenses when my job took me out of the country. It handles all of the currency conversion flawlessly. I have highly recommend it to all of my colleagues. The one and only reason I am not giving this excellent app five stars is that when I create the expense report in an HTML format it does not include my receipt pics. So this means that I need to go expense by expense to email the receipt. This tends to be a tad laborious on weeks that have a ton of expense items. All in all though, excellent app.

This is it!. It works. It makes sense. This is what I was looking for to keep track of all my trip expenses.

Great App. Works great and does all things it said it would do. What I'd like to see is: -daily spending average -above/below daily average warning -expense entry in local currency and daily sum in US$ -day to departure countdown next to budget overview

What the .... I've had this app for at least a couple years. Don't recall if I paid for it. Overall it does most of what it purports to do. A bit more complicated tonuse than it needs to be, especially if one wants to streamline the options. Biggest complaint is that the data refuses to download. It puts on a good show, but never ends up in the inbox. Maybe I should just set up my own spreadsheet and call it good. Buyer beware.

Has potential. Has potential. Offers a ton of features, and I love the budget feature. Understand it is made for the iphone, but should at least work in both landscape and portrait mode on ipad. No integration with popular programs like Tripit, Trip case, etc so all itineraries need to be entered by hand. entries take, IMO, more taps than required when compared to other similar programs.

Love this app. I have been using Trip Boss for many years now. It’s great for recording expenses and converting currencies. I file each trip expenses upon return by printing out the report. I use it for monthly and car expenses too. Keeps track of my mpg. The only flaw is you have to use it while offline as it gets stuck on “Please wait. Updating currencies”. This is mildly annoying but I put up with it as I love the expense tracking. If you have just installed and are having trouble, close up your Wi-Fi connection temporarily and you should be good to go.

counterintuitive and frustrating. I was extremely disappointed in this app. I researched a number of different travel expense trackers and thought that this one was going to be it. However, although it promises a great deal of flexibility, I found it extremely counterintuitive and difficult to input simple pieces of information. For instance, you have to create a new place every time you want to include the name of the place where you spent money. This requires going through at least 3 screens to make a simple expense input. And you can't set the currency for an entire trip, unless you change the default settings on the whole app. Even simple apps like Trail Wallet (which is a far better app in my opinion) allow you to have a home currency and then set a default for specific trips (instead of having to input it each time you input an expense).

App Freezing Up On Exchange Rates. Trip Boss freezes up when updating exchange rates. I am unable to use app. Please fix problem.

Great. This app was great, did everything it said it would. I am traveling in Europe with my family and it's keeping us on track with our tight budget. I take 10 minutes each night and enter receipts. Very easy to use. Thank you for this app!

Versatile, What a Pleasure to use!. This app keeps my expenses for both business and family, great that I can use it for both. Photo receipts is a must have for me. I've also picked up the itinerary and journal add-ons this summer for our family vacation. Got everything noted for stress free tracking of our daily activities & I can enter the expense right within the itinerary entry. How cool is that? Kids are adding their two cents to the journal & I have able to even upload a daily update to Facebook-the app even creates a separate album for me! What a well thought out app! Strongly recommend.

Very nice app. I can't wait until my next vacation. This app will help me to keep my spending under control. It's just too easy to keep spending without looking at the big picture. This app makes it easy to see how much I've already spent and what I have left. Plus with the currency converter I know what that item really cost me. If you travel at all, you need this app.

Great App. I've had this app for about a year now and have used it on a few personal vacations/trips to track and budget my expenses. I was a little worried about paying for an app then it not meeting my needs but I'm not disappointed. In fact, this is the only app I use to track my travel expenses and have recently added the journal and itineraries app to go with it. It does not crash, is simple to use and is customizable. It is nice to be able to finally have all my travel costs in one easy convenient location. Love the Trip Boss!!

Great app. This is a great app. Just one thing I would like to see as an improvement. You can select if a payment is credit cash etc but there is no running total. If I take $1000 cash on a trip I would like to see a running total to give an idea of how much I have left without having to frequently count it. Same with spending on the credit card. You can see cash credit etc when you open in excel but i need this on the go Put this improvement in and I would give it 5 stars easily.

Poorly designed. Very confusing interface. Kept adding trips without explanation. Could not work out how to add expenses. A waste of money.

Really helpful and useful... But. I really like the app. It's very helpful, very useful. But entering an expense is confusing and convoluted. Just needs to be as simple as entering a budget amount.
