Works for me!. I was looking for a simple app that could give me the GPS coordinates for any location. This app is it. There is a small black cursor fixed at the center of the screen and you can drag the map to whatever location you want. Click the arrow button in the left corner and it will automatically drop a pin and tell you the coordinates. You can save the location with a custom name, and you can even add notes to describe the location. You can also categorize saved locations into groups, such as restaurants or camping sites, etc. The best part (and the whole reason I got the app) is that I can copy and paste the coordinates into the google maps app and then save the location in google maps.

Can't search by address?. How can you have a GPS program that doesn't have the capabilities to search for an address? I know where I am...I want to know where that is! Waste of my 99 cents!

Good but could be better. Does a good job of locating. However every time the app opens it turns off all the previous pin drops. Also no way to extract info for use in other programs or apps.

Maps outdated. Doesn't have many streets that can be found on Google and Garmin GPS.

Not quite what I was looking for. I thought it would be more like a location/address locator and give you directions to that point. Well so far I havent been able to figure out how that would work. So it is not what I had hoped for.

App does not even open!!!??. Just bought this app and it don't even open? Screen goes black and then returns to iPhone home screen! Rip off, don't waste ur time!

Terrible app. App is misleading in a since you can't search by address and then map them in a direction as if you where using a gps. Not worth anything to me.

What a great little app!. I’ve beta tested for this developer in the past (GPS Tracks) in fact I often used that app to do exactly what this does, only this is much simpler. Don’t expect it to do anywhere near what that app will do, but this is perfect for a quick position store plus you can copy and paste your coords into any decent navigation app of your choice. For three bucks!! As for quality I really didn’t need to dig deep, anything from this developer will be first class.

Love it. I love this application. The creator must be brilliant. I always want to know the distance from where I am to where I want to be at that moment! Fabulous

Bad App. This app is difficult to use and takes too long to download directions. Nothing like the program on my laptop. Refund... I would not use this again, good thing it was only $.99

Waste of money. I entered the location manually. Not only did it show the zoo as being in the middle of the ocean, there was no way to go to it on the map without manually zooming out then back in. Completely non-intuitive. I hate this app so much, I actually want my money back.

Hmmmm.... Maybe it's because I need to get more adjusted to the app, but this doesn't seem to make sense. I put an app in and it doesn't recognize it. It reads 0,-0 as my lat/long

Ummmm?. Well, mostly performs as advertised. I enter coordinates and do NOT get a correct location. Is it me or the app? Mystery!?!?

Great App!. Very clean design and simple to use.

Can't add locations. Users can't add a new location by entering an address. New locations can only be added in one of 2 ways, entering the GPS coordinates or using your current location.

App won't open. Every time I try and start it it goes to the home screen. No support from the website...Waste of money.

Good. Really handy. Love how it displays all my locations. Crashes sometimes unfortunately. I wish I could automatically view all my locations on the map rather than toggling every single location. Please add this simple feature.

Pre installed iPhone Map App is better than MapPoint. MapPoint functions well and provides useful naming and note feature, but is otherwise lacking important and efficient features provided by the free Map App that comes with the iphone. Overall, the pre installed iPhones Map App is more useful for bookmarking and retrieving saved waypoints/ locations.

Map points. No good keeps crashing load in coordination and it sends me to Japan

No good for fishing or hunting. Downloaded app to save existing fishing spot coordinates. Unfortunately, the directions functionality only shows directions along roads. The app description says "great for fishing and hunting" - sorry, I don't think so.

Awful. Paid for it, put in my co-ordinated and it just crashes. Waste of money

OK but a little buggy. Will crash on first opening but will open and locate you on the second try. It would be great if you could tie a contact to one of these gps coordinates. I can't find anything but this that will give a way to tag a rural address.
