Fun, but could use improvements. The game is very fun and can be a tad addictive. You do have to spend time in your restaurant cooking and being a good neighbor to gain coins, tips, and gems. You can also purchase coins and gems but that can get expensive. I really, really wish that storm8 would act on some of the suggestions, especially those that just make sense and can enhance game time and encourage neighbors to gift. I have suggested that the voluminous list of gifts be placed in some type of order. Now you have to scroll through pages and pages of over 100 gifts to get items that your neighbors may need and they are in absolutely no order. It’s extremely frustrating and time consuming. I mean, seriously, how long would it take to categorize these items, storm8? Sheesh...

Not worth the time.. 1. It’s very time consuming and unrewarding. To cook a dish with over 1,000 servings, it usually takes twelve hours minimum. And once you serve them, they’ll be gone within an hour. 2. Opening the app is a hassle. By that I mean, every single time you open the app, you have (Storm 8) game “recommendations” shoved in your face. You can easily click off of them, but it gets annoying after a while. 3. Tasks are unnecessary. If the game was about decorating a restaurant, I’m sure most people would be fine with just that. But in order to complete tasks, you have to spend coins, sometimes to buy things you don’t want or never use. And remember me saying they shove game “recommendations” in your face? They also give you gems to download and play the games, which may sound nice, but when every Storm 8 game is chock full of ads, you can easily tell they just want money, which leads me to… 4. In-app purchases that target children. If your card is saved into your phone, a child could easily click a button to get an absurd amount of gems or coins, which is obviously awful for whoever owns the card. 5. The amount of ads are atrocious. You get an ad for doing almost anything. Sometimes I get ads for just opening the game! I recommend “Good Pizza, Great Pizza” over this. It isn’t too similar to this game, but it is much more entertaining, has less ads, a cuter artstyle, and a little story as well.

Ghost developers and lost coins. Fun, addictive, and time consuming. But beware. This game likes to go through “processing” a lot. It likes to process when you’re beginning a new challenge or when you’re starting a new recipe. During the “processing”, you’re making purchases. So when it processes during the purchase, it takes away what you have purchased but it does not recredit the gaming coins you spent. For example, if you’re buying 12 wallpapers, during the sixth purchase, it says “processing,” after the “processing” you’ll see that 3 of the wallpapers you purchased disappear, but the money you spent does not reappear. And, for some reason, you don’t seem to earn the money you should based on the math. Another negative I have noticed is that there’s no developer response to ratings and reviews, and I have yet to see anything about updating this game.

Personally love this game. I love this game a lot. I have re download this game because when I was young I used to love playing this game. As a kid that was usually on their phone, this game taught me patience bc all tho the time takes forever it really helped and o can even admit to my self i think this game is the reason why I have so much patience with Ppl. Not only did it teach me patience it also showed consequences if you let the food over cook or be out to long, all that time and patience will go to waste. This game basically taught me the basics to know as a kid. Ik I’m not as much as a kid now I still truly love this game and forever will this game will always be my personal favorite.

Too many glitches. This is a very nice game but it takes too long to load and when it does and you’re playing it sometimes just start processing in the middle of the game and stay for a long time unless you come out of it and go back in. There are also times you have collected your food and when you go back in the same food you collected has spoiled on the store making you think you have never collected it to begin with. It has too many pop up ads especially when you just load the game which is annoying. And there are times you watched a video to collect gems but you don’t receive the gems when done. If they could fix these problems then it will be perfect. In addition I would appreciate it if they could tell you which appliance you need to cook the requested food instead of me searching every appliance just to find the food for the goal. Another change I would like to see is the reduction of parts needed to build an appliance. Make these changes in restaurant story and bakery story and I will be more willing to play the game more offen.

Stress reducer. I had this game years ago and during Covid I needed something to keep my mind off the world for a bit, I’ve played everyday since March and now at level 99. It took me a while to understand about the goal parts b/c I didn’t have neighbors, but once I explored the game I found some and love the goal challenges. The game is very slow and glitchy to start, one time I was just hitting the Buttons and ended up buying $30 worth of gems on accident, the company credited me right away and now I slow down so it doesn’t happen again. But overall, a great game and way to take my mind off of other things..I do wish that I spent less time on it, but now it’s like an obsession and I must have the best restaurant!

Account back please!!. Hey I know this might not be possible but is there someone how a way where you can give me my old account back!! It means so much to me and all the memories I had with that account back when I was a little boy. It’s been 5 years ago where I first got the game. My account name was IN-OUT and my id was likeabossman7. Is there a way where you can reach out to me and help me? I really love this game but my tablet was broken and couldn’t fix it back and have so many nostalgic moments just thinking about what this game really meant to me. Thank you in advanced if you actually helped me!!!!!!!! This would really mean a lot to me. I am kind of scared because it was on a Samsung tablet and now I am on iOS.

bUt….. I have played this game for years now… I stopped playing for 2-3 years because as everyone says, it is time consuming… I got the game back earlier this year and I’ve seen that there are a lot of ads now which I don’t like 👎🏼 back in the day there used to be no ads :/ also, around June or July of this year we could watch ads multiple times a day to earn gems instead of just watching 10 videos and I was like “YES! I could save up my gems now!” But then it went away☹️☹️☹️ Please bring that back so we can earn lots of more gems a day instead of 10 a day!!! OH! And one more thing, the goals are super long now & I cannot finish and complete my stoves to finish the goal bc gifts gets full quick!!! Plz fix bc I love this game🙏🏼🙏🏼🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 Love, me :)

Fun and interesting game. I like this restaurant game, it’s pretty fun and interesting. I just wish you could earn more coins and gems easier. It would be nice to be able to, without actually having to spend any real money on them. Although, I would say overall, it’s a nice game, just could benefit from those types of adjustments and if there was a way to keep food from spoiling a lot easier. I would say that, it’s really an enjoyable and good game, just not perfect. However, I enjoy it overall and these are just my suggestions, so that’s why I’m giving it a 4 star rating, instead of 5. There’s always room for improvements, thanks.

Fun Downtime game. It takes a little bit of attention to get started but once you give it like two days of attention, you can just check in, modify stuff, buy decor, etc. It’s a great game for people who just want something not so involved but just to keep up with over time and check like once a day. It does have a glitch getting stuck on the processing screen but I just close and re-open and its fine. The million ads that pop up in the beginning are very very annoying but I don’t spend money on games so if that what it takes to stay free and still have options for penny pinchers like me then I guess I’ll have to get over it. Can’t have it all

This is a classic!. The multitude of aspects that reside in this game give it an extra dimension of joy to indulge in. Each feature plays a role in giving Restaurant story its iconic shine. I don’t really like all the other storm8 games, the reason being the rest of them are all been there done that a thousand times over. Not even the sequel comes close to as good as this. Restaurant story is original, and it’s a great game, even by today’s standards. It was an asset in 2010 and it still is today. The variety of foods available is unfathomable. I strongly suggest you get this game. This is the app that Storm8 needs to put more focus on. It truly is a one of a kind experience.

Love it but annoyed. I do love this game for tons of reasons. I never stop playing it. There are only a couple of complaints that I have that no one ever changes. Every time I play I HATE seeing those annoying pop ups that you have to close out way too many times. You really should stop requesting to add a new game every day several times a day. It’s very annoying. When I have downloaded the games it still asks me to download them. And it never gives you gems after it says it will if you do this this and that. You need more quests or a anything period to give people a chance to actually earn gems.

HORRIBLE!!!!. Absolutely horrible. I've installed and uninstalled this game over 25 times in less than a MONTH! It continues to say "loading" right in the middle of the game. This can go on for up to an hour or more unless you uninstall & then reinstall again. Also, there are times when my food is ready to serve, & in the event of doing so, the food still appears to be on the stove even when I press the recipe book to start a new dish. The old dish still appears right there on the screen as though it hadn't been served yet. Team Lava has also made it almost impossible to receive gems anymore for installation of other games and/or goal completions. I've invested so much money into not just this game but "Nightclub Story & Castle Story" as well, & as of recently, they BOTH have both been pulled from IOS & my Kindle fire tablet & is no longer available on those devices. This game used be so much fun, but now with the "loading" & other issues mentioned, it's made me just want to uninstall the game INDEFINITELY. Fortunately, I don't experience this issue with Bakery Story.

GLITCH KEEPS COMING BACK!. there is a glitch where the screen gets stuck on loading "processing" and won't go back to the gameplay. this is a very frustrating glitch please help me. update: still stuck on the processing screen! please help, it won't go back to the game AT ALL. 2 update: the glitch is back! yikes!!!! 3 update: whenever it goes on "processing" it's like the screen is frozen with customers still going into my restaurant, even when i run out of food. then my restrants happiness level goes down and i lose customers. i have to keep deleting and then re downloading the darn app to fix this, then the error comes back every time in about 1 or 2 days!!!!! i play this game and bakery story, zoo story 2, and dragon story from storm8. all the 3 other games are doing fine and do not have this problem. only restaurant story has the processing problem! and one time when i downloaded restaurant story again and tried it aces it it closed out almost 4 times before i could play the game!!! please help because this is extremely frustrating but i love the game!!! i don't want to quit restaurant story, but once the dreaded processing screen goes on i cannot do anything but keep deleting and re downloading the game. i have a storm8 id so my progress is saved but this is insane glitch!!! moved down to 2 stars until you fix this!!!!! YIKES!!!!

Ummm… Should be called “Racist Story”. I’ve been playing Restaurant Story for over a decade now. I’ve always loved seeing all the different options for dishes to make/serve, appliances to build, and decorations to buy. It seems like the possibilities are endless! Today whilst running my restaurant, I took my eyes off the food (for once) and decided to look at the customers whomst were dining in at my restaurant. All of them were enjoying their meals and leaving with happy faces & full tummies. But I’ll tell ya, I didn’t have a happy face. All my customers were white! Some looked like they perhaps took a family vacation to Panama City Beach over the summer, but no color past that…. In all seriousness I’m well aware that the creators of this game have not updated it in…. Probably a decade. But it wouldn’t hurt to throw in a few extra characters. Also, having more features other than cook food-watch customers eat-rearrange restaurant would be nice. I’d like to see maybe a… I don’t know “create a dish” feature, or even having a parking lot would be somewhat entertaining. Did I literally just say that adding a parking lot would make the game more fun…. Yes. In conclusion, my business will remain open, and I’ll do my due diligence to serve my community. My doors are open to everyone! (Except for furries) Come one, Come all, COME HUNGRY!!!

Amazing game!!. This game are the best! Seriously it have a enjoyable experience to have a restaurant, but it have some negative things, when you decide to buy a new stove they won’t let you buy it because you have to spend 49 gems for unlocking it, it just annoying, you have to wait to collect the gems like for a week, Especially when you can’t spend your money on buying gems, And when i cook some food and I exit the game to wait or just leave the phone alone, You can’t miss your order because it will be corrupt if you didn’t open the game, Especially when the food takes more than 4 hours, I feel mad, i waited the whole day for the food, Will also the bugs are annoying people, i hope the game just remove them, i’ve got an Advice, maybe you should low the prices it’s soo expensive!! And also the expand is really expensive , when i expand my restaurant for 10,000 it doesn’t change anything, Just gives a small space, soo i hope you fix these mistakes that annoyed The beginners, And that’s all, thank you❤️❤️

Helps my brain!. This game improves cognition. I played it religiously about 4-5 years ago during a really stressful time in my life and it help me to stay sharp, I guess because of the planning involved with cooking the food and collecting gems for buying things and planning the restaurant layout. It’s really fun, too. But, I KNOW that it actually helped me and that’s why I am playing it again. I had three iPads and they all had a different restaurant. Now, evidently, your devices link up and pull up the same restaurant. No problem because I don’t have time for three these days. I do miss my Sushi Party and Katty’s Diner, though. Maybe I can try to visit and see if they still exist in the ether world. Anyway, I know it kind of looks like a kids game, but it takes a lot of thought and strategy if you want to build a cool restaurant that works and flows. Highly recommend.

Just Isn’t The Same. This game keeps people around for the social aspect. They made the game unfair to some players by giving new players free gems, while old players play a game that has become more pay to play. Some are steadily quitting, but those who have stayed, the goals come too fast and we don’t get anymore weekly updates. You will end up buying gems in order to purchase the decorations, and in some cases, to finish goals (if you dare). You don’t earn coins anymore because the goals eat them up, but then, it doesn’t matter since there is rarely anything of worth that uses coins anyway. The developers have hung the players out to dry for their investors. It is all really sad. The game needs a serious revamp! It’s same ole same ole, while Bakery Story 2 got the better graphics, but nobody liked that game anyway. Way to go Storm! 😔 EDIT: P.S. Can we PLEASE have an update?! Preferably one with the log in feature added back to Restaurant? I know this will fall on deaf ears as does all other requests.

Infuriating and Unplayable. Storm8 - Do you get some sick joy by making this game as frustrating as possible for your users? Too many issues to list, and they won’t EVER make a positive change anyway, but let’s just highlight the 3 biggest things: 1) Enough with all the POPUPS and ADS that force you to restart the game multiple times before you can even play. 2) A “Select All” button for sending and requesting gifts would be nice, especially considering the Additional issues we encounter when we have to manually select each neighbor. 3) YOU KNOW what you did with the goals; there’s about 5 or 6 sub issues within there alone. Thanks for making this the worst gaming experience ever, and for constantly finding more ways to make it more infuriating rather than enjoyable for your users.

Great Game. This is a very addictive game. It’s fun and enjoyable to play, create, cook, and build new appliances. But there are some improvements I like to see, hopefully, this will get to the developers: 1. Sorting -When choosing gift for friends: list of neighbor should be sorted by Alphabetical Order or level. Gift should sort by Recipes, by appliances, or alphabetical order. 2. Switching/moving food to new/or different counters. As there are many new counters appearing for different seasons/scenes, but the dishes is fixed on old counters and waiting for it to finish takes a long time plus some time it just land randomly on a empty counter that is not by choice or putting dishes into 1 counter randomly. That is very frustrating. Either to clear the counters or store the old counters but wasted all the dishes that you have spend time cooking and keep them but a mismatch in the scene/ background/season that created. 3. Many goals are impossible to complete, especially, the goals with long cooking time and high number of dishes to complete, for example 40 dishes with cooking 8-10hours to complete per dish. Plus, you may only have one new appliance to complete the task or it need to take time to build additional appliances to complete the tasks.

Oddly fun but time consuming. I have been playing for years and, despite the fact that I hit the max level years ago, I’m still enjoying adding friends, communicating with them and making food. I do find the tasks have been really hard to finish without using money. They are doable—if you play constantly, which I don’t. I play about 5 times a week, which is quite a bit and rarely get to the second appliance. I’d love to be able to click a button and clear all my tables which would be a huge timesaver. I’d also like to be able to finish tasks more often (maybe fewer items to cook?) Or make it easier to get the appliance in the first place. I have a lot of friends but my gifts are often full so it takes days to finish the appliance. I figure I need about 5 to get to the second appliance. Thanks for highlighting the items, too. Maybe you could have tabs for stoves, grills and ovens so it’s a little easier to find them? I do enjoy this game but find myself having to take breaks because it is so time-consuming. I have the exact same feedback for Bakery Story.

Onslaught of ads make Lava seem desperate.. The game is great, free game is awesome. If the purchasing of gems is not generating enuff revenue, then i think Lava Games should just ask for donations!! I see/dismiss 4 Lava Games ads each time i return to my shop. This equals more than 60 ads per day.....per game!!!!!!! The use of techniques like bombarding players with multiple popups so that players accidentally choose to download more "free" games is ludicrous to loyal gamers already playing 3 to 4 Lava games! Rewrite your games so avid players and multi-game players see fewer ads especially long term players who've spent hundreds on gems!!! These player may become willing to donate. But the mindless ads we are force to tolerate say to the player, this game is paid for by advertisers and no player will donate if they have to sit through ads 10-20 times a day.

So many bugs and deterrents!. The game is good. However as of late it keeps showing the word “processing” which freezes your game and your food goes bad. Also you have to be careful about tapping to clear your food because you could accidentally spend your gems and that’s not the developers problem (as I’ve been told in but so many words). Sometimes the screen freezes when you go to take food off. It’s like it won’t come off the oven. You get frustrated and log out and come back and the same thing. Additionally when you’re trying to increase your points by watching videos, they don’t work and you can’t. It’s definitely a deterrent from the desire to want to play. But when you can actually play the game it’s not that bad. But you can try it and play at your own risk. But don’t say I didn’t warn you!

Good Game || NEEDS UPDATED. I love this game! I have been playing it for many years, however I wish some things would be updated that are long overdue— such as I wish we could view the furniture catalog in a better way instead of just scrolling all the way through to find what table we want/were using. As well as being able to delete gifts in our inventory that we don’t or can’t even use. The layout of the game, absolutely everything is the exact same as it was years ago. Definitely some updated changes are needed! Still love the game though and how personalized it can get 🥰 5 stars. But PLEASE UPDATE IT, make it feel newer, more exciting ✨

It’s good... but not great.. I love this game, I’ve been playing this since I was 8 (14 now) and I really enjoy this game butttt it’s frustrating sometimes. When there are challenges it’s so hard to complete it, without being on 24/7 which I am not! I have so many stoves with unfinished dishes and that really upsets me. Can it be a thing where you can pay a certain amount of gems to redo the challenge please? Also you can’t even restart this game!!! That’s so crazy to me. I’ve emailed the developers twice and no one has gotten back to me which is a little weird as well. I was lucky enough to have bakery story restart by itself for some reason on New Years... but not restaurant story which is upsetting. I love this game because of my childhood still but it’s getting old and I’m thinking about deleting it honestly.

should be a way to stop consumption. game is good but there should be a way to stop people from coming in so you can prepare your food properly. it's EXTREMELY annoying having people come in and eat up all of my food when I'm trying to cook/bake a certain amount of food for their arrival. the door block doesn't even work because my prepared food dissapears after a certain amount of time. apparently it's not "programmed to stop them from coming in" which is ridiculous because if it isn't then why don't they just glitch through the door? that's just an excuse for bad development. not to mention you don't even get any coins from doing so! at least if you're still aware people play this game, update the game with a closed/open sign to determine if people can come in, at least.

Great app some changes needed😕. I have been using this app for over a year, it’s great. I love the way you can make it your own. But there are some changes I would like to be made. First the gems, a lot of people are having problems with the free vids disappearing. I got this game in 2018 and played for a few months then I deleted it. I had already made a purchase for gems. Then a few months later I got it back all my stuff was still there😀. But after I realized the vids for gems were gone! I was really mad, I looked it up a bunch of times and found out they would not come back. My sister got the game and she kept getting ads. She was upset because things costed to much. I would agree but in higher levels it’s not that bad. But there is a whole other story about gems in that situation. Lots of people have deleted the game because of thisThe second thing I don’t like is expanding it costs 1 mil to expand a few more blocks! It’s almost impossible to get 1 mil without spending. Thanks for listening I hope you can consider the changes.

Just wanna say!. FIRST, I don’t wanna be rude people but stop complaining about adds. It’s how games make money to make new games for all of us!! Also please stop giving these games bad starts because of glitches, it may just be your device instead of the game. Also I’ve seen a lot of reviews complaining about the wheel of death, just first, check your WiFi. Maybe you need to close out rest of tabs. Just still I hate when people say bad things about games just because of adds!! Like I said it’s how they make money for more games. Otherwise it is an amazing game!! Bravo to the creators!! People say this is a clone of a bakery game, but, many games are the same if you think about it so stop complaining already!! Like I said very first thing: Not to be rude.

Goals. This game use to have reasonable goals. This last round of goals (May 2022) is totally being unobtainable. Not only the amounts of parts that you need to build a stove are getting ridiculous, but the amount of things you need to cook to obtain this goal are totally ridiculous. The last stove in the last section of the goal was a 10 hour cooking time and we needed to do 40 of them. Just totally ridiculous, and impossible to do. Many of us are very frustrated with the amount of goal parts. They have taken so much of the fun we are used to experience out of this game. My recommendation is don’t start this game unless you want to pay a lot of dollars for parts and completion of goals.

It can be fun, but it’s also time consuming and glitchy.. I used to play this game back when I had an iPhone 4. I don’t really remember when that was 2013 maybe? I just started playing again a few months again, but I’m not particularly enjoying it. You can’t do much without the having neighbors, and as you progress you need more and more neighbors. Going around tipping and gifting all your neighbors is time consuming because it takes a while to load the screens. I’ve stopped completing the goals because I have a job and a life and I don’t have time to keep opening the game every hour or two to make sure the food for the goal doesn’t go bad before I can serve it. Not to mention the goals have so many parts you really need to be on top of the timing to finish it in the 10 days because you’ll have to cook large amounts of foods that take 16 hours. The appliances you build for the goal aren’t worth the time or the money you spend making them. They make like 3 dishes that take too much time for the money you get in return. Also, apps start playing when you’re in the middle of serving or prepping food which is annoying, and they usually are 30 seconds with no options to skip. The game will sometimes freeze during loading and you have to force quit for it to work again. Today my game tells me there is no internet connection and will not open, but I’ve been using the internet on my IPad for other things. I’m seriously considering deleting the game.

The worst game ever!!!. This game is one of the glitchiest games on iPhone and I’m shocked that Apple allows it. I made a purchase and never received my items! Customer service was HORRIBLE - they lied & deleted some of the emails I sent them so that they could say I never contacted them. It was only $5 that they stole from me. I’d went ahead and purchased a pack from them for $40 AFTER they robbed me just knowing they wouldn’t have the stupidity to lose someone who spends money in their age-old app. Storm8 doesn’t appreciate their users. They emailed me saying that I’d already received the $5 items and just didn’t know it. After I showed them that I didn’t have it, they screenshot my previous purchase and said that it was proof that I’d received the $5 items. 🙃😫 The customer support is RETARDED. I worked with someone named Aiden. He was HORRIBLE!!! And so is Storm8. I immediately deleted ALL STORM8 apps!!!

Love the story games!. I have Restaurant, Bakery and Fashion story! I love these games, I have played them for 10+ years! (Don’t judge me). The only things I don’t care for are the gem pricing, there is never really a good sale on gems. The gem machines were taken away so you can even buy them anymore. They were machines that produce 1 gem every 12 hours. They would be nice to have back for people that spend lots of money on gems. The cost of expanding is way over priced! There needs to be more diversity in the patrons of the games and the displays! Great game but can really use an overhaul for the most part. A few of my family members and friends play these games as well and we all agree! PLS UPDATE BOTH THE BAKERY AND RESTAURANT AT LEAST STORM 8 TEAM! 3 stars but could easily be 5 if the mentioned updates are done! TY

Too glitchy & expensive. Been playing this game since 2014... it has since become very expensive and they recycle goals OVER and OVER again, cooking same recipes over and over again. At the same time it TAKES an exorbitant amount of time to visit and gift neighbors, which you MUST do if you want to complete goals in time, or spend your hard earned money on gems in order to complete. Which might not be SO bad, if it didn’t take 72 pieces to complete 1 goal appliance and you need at LEAST 3 appliances to complete goal in time! And the glitches!! It makes at LEAST 3 attempts to LOAD the game when you open it! I’ll open the game and attempt to perform some actions and the actions disappear, or better yet, the FOOD disappears within a minute or two opening game and it spontaneously loads itself again! This happens EVERY time I open the game... really sad and frustrating that this game has devolved to this point.... so disappointing. By the way, I play on an iPhone11.

Major issues. Issue 1a: Ad part 1, issue as ads sometimes don’t work and will freeze on device forcing you to restart application. I have this on two devices and I’m uninstalling on both as it’s frustrating. Friend has same issue, Issue 1B: Ad part 2- you can do surveys for gems, but they have many which are scams and viruses. They make you agree warning absolving them from liability which shows how crooked they are by allowing these sites up. Issue 2: They have so many ads pop up when you are clicking screen to get you to play the other games. I have no issues with ads for free content, but they make it excessive and spam crazy to point its almost unplayable on launch. Issue 3: Game has very little customization of profile. Everyone is same for chef and you can’t really make your character unique. Not even black something I’ve noticed was missing from even customers. Issue 4: battery is drained FAST I use apps and rate their useage and the games by this company run on full in background without using it. Usually this is a sign of an app that goes and steals info or records so I’m very skeptical they do this. Anyway, uninstalling as the game has major issues. I’d recommend looking at their competitors.

Review. The reason I gave only 3 stars is it has too many bugs now and it’s will process every 10 minutes which make what ever you did erase. Now I have been waiting 3 months for them to fix my game . After every goal what ever I bought or won during the goal gets erased as if I never played the stoves / ovens /prep tables and goal prizes go back to the locked tab when I have to store. But before that the appliance go back to first food of the goal and the rest locked. This is really bad I have been playing since 2012 or 2013 and have always love this game, but it really hasn’t had an update in years and yes your goals now are almost impossible to complete without using gems. I hope these thing get fix so and I’m able to get my appliances back along with the food unlocked and my goal gifts will back as well as the items I bought . I think there needs to be better Communication with storm team and players and let them know what’s going on when trying to work on game.

Where has my childhood gone?. I played this game back when I was a younger kid dreaming of an empire, my very own restaurant empire. I worked up hours and hours building up my castle one brick at a time, carefully arranging my tables that would bring in brainless customers and help them enjoy their experience to the fullest. It was truly a little piece of heaven. That was 4 years ago. Now in my older years, reminisced of my old glory days and bigger dreams, I re-download this app in hopes of reliving the golden days of my youth and feel somewhat relevant again. But thanks, whatever this stupid company is. My progress is gone. Not even surprised that apple gamecenter has any scrap of my progress saved. But Facebook? Even after logging into my facebook account, all I got was free 40 gems and 4 crappy white tables. What have you done with my childhood? What have you done to my dreams? I like to say my one last thank you’s to my faithful neighbors that helped me throughout my youth, dreaming of a dream of a smaller, but happier world where all our restaurants thrived, with nothing but smiles. Now I will never download this app ever again, fearing this nightmare will haunt me everytime I open up my phone.

Review. I’ve been playing restaurant and bakery story for 10 years. I enjoy the ability to create something and watch it bloom. I love the ability to communicate with people from all over the world. I love the atmosphere of kindness, caring and assistance the neighbors share. Thank You for giving us the ability to play our stories on several devices. That being said I really don’t enjoy going through the menu or the gift items. It is endless and difficult to find what you want. Is there someway you can either alphabetize it, group it or better yet give us the ability to “search” for it. Also considering the amount of money we spend on our stories; I resent having your ads interrupt my play. It is extremely disruptive. If this were a free game I could understand it but I have three shops and spend money on each shop. Get rid of the interruptions!!!!!!

fun. Good game for the most part. I only have two real issues with it. 1 It would be really nice if you could play offline and when you connected to the internet it uploaded your progress and whatnot. Every time the app starts up it like reloads at least once or even up to like 4 times causing everything I did in the first moments to delete. The same thing happens with someone else I know and she said one time her food was about to spoil and she just barely made it but it “processed” or whatever and reloaded with everything spoiled. 2 I was always able to watch 10 videos each day to earn gems but I recently made an in-app purchase and now I no longer get the option?? Personally, really dislike this feature. Is it reversible like can I get the videos back?

Pretty good. I really enjoy this app. I have had mostly good experiences with it and haven’t experienced many glitches. But I did have an issue with the Facebook account option. Whatever you do, DO NOT use the same Facebook account between different restaurants just to get the gem reward. I did this with a friend and we almost both lost all of our data! Also on occasion I get a “processing...” pop-up on the screen that will not go away until you completely close out the app. But please keep in mind that this is a very old app (10yrs+) so you have to be patient. If you are annoyed by slow loading, stuck pop-ups, and things like that, just get restaurant story 2! That has newer programs but I still thoroughly enjoy this app and find it extremely nostalgic as I played this lots when I was younger. It is very relaxing as well and can keep anyone entertained!! Totally recommend

Food Disappearing Quickly But Coins Not Adding Up.. Ok so I love this game and my literal only complaint is that I will spend DAYS with my door blocked accumulating food. And I mean I’ve gone a full week several times not opening my door. And when I feel the food has accumulated enough, I will open the door. But go back into the game within the same hour and all or most of the food be gone but not having received the money I should’ve received for the amount of food that is no longer there. I’ve done this a lot of times and this last time (kept door closed 3 days. 25 counters all with thousands or tens of thousands of servings each. There was 2 or 3 that only had a couple hundred. Before I opened the door I added up all the servings on each counter and it came out to be exactly 113, 692 total). I screen recorded me checking each counter with how many servings each had. This was at 2:04pm EST. At 2:47pm EST I went back into the restaurant to see over half my counters empty but roughly only 150k increase in my earnings. I know different foods cost different prices but there’s no way that adds up the way it should. I have the screen recordings for both when I checked before opening the door, including the date and time as well as when I went back to check 43 minutes later also including date and time. Idk if it’s a bug or what but it happens often and I think it needs to be fixed.

Needs a lot of fixing but great game. I love this game so much but there’s A LOT of bugs!!! First sometimes when I cook something it will take my money and not start cooking, I’ll have to constantly press cook on the food/drink again it’s annoying because it’s a waste of in game money... second when someone leaves tips on the table and you try to collect them, sometimes the tips will just stay there to either recollect multiple times or just act as if they already got picked up but will stay there and there’s nothing you can do... last thing is sometimes when I visit others restaurants, my stove stays in the same place in their restaurant where the stove would be in mine. Other than the bugs.. the ads are a big problem. I try to cook something and I get like 2 ads before I can even play the game.. it’s ridiculous and I’m not going to pay for an ad remover if there was one mad. Nobody has that kind of money right now anyways lol. Other than that I love this game and I recommend it.

Fun and addicting but... I’ve been playing this game for years but I’ve pulled back on playing for a few reasons. My main thing about games is ads and I can’t stand when you have an ad mid game. 9/10 I always delete any game that makes me watch an ad but as I already spent money on this game I’d rather not do that. Some aspects of the game gear you to spend money, you don’t have to but it would make your game much easier. This game can be very time consuming with everything you have to do to level up, one thing I find frustrating is the neighbors thing. Another huge annoyance for me is the fact that when I load up the game I am bombarded with pop ups for the game, I can’t click X fast enough before the next one pops up on the screen. I can’t even play my game for the first few minute because of how much crap comes up on the screen. I honestly will probably stop playing and just keep it downloaded on an old iPad. The ads now days are everywhere and I just can’t stand it.

A Frustrating Experience. I recently started playing this game again. So far it’s been a pretty frustrating experience. There are 2 main problems. 1. There are some very annoying glitches. When returning to the game after a couple of hours, a “processing” message will show up. The only way to get rid of the message is to force close the game. Also, sometimes after serving food, the food will still appear on the appliance used to cook it. I also need to to force close the app to solve this, but sometimes that ends up in all of the food I served disappearing. This is really frustrating since it takes hours to make all of the food. It makes me feel like I just wasted all of that time making the food just for it to disappear because of some very annoying glitches. 2. There are way too many pop ups and ads. I would have less of a problem if the ads were less intrusive. I would prefer not to be interrupted by an ad when I’m preparing food. I would also prefer not to have to click through a bunch of pop ups just so I can actually play the game. Also, it would be nice if I could expand my restaurant without having to have neighbors. I was really looking forward to playing this game again after a couple of years, but it’s just not very enjoyable. I can’t justify a rating above 2 stars, so that’s what it will be.

This Game Used To Be Better. I have been playing this game for over 7 years. The addition of ads and no way to pay to permanently remove them is ridiculous. Prices for gems are already ridiculously high and the events basically strong arm you into pay to play because you won’t finish them otherwise. Also, there’s no reason why the music should stop every time, two seconds after I open the app, or that the game crashes SO many times while trying to play on my new and updated iPhone 10. This app has turned into a crashy mess and has only gotten worse! They’ve added all these annoyances to a game I’ve been playing for years and have spent a lot of money on. I will no longer be purchasing anything in game because they’ve gotten cheap and don’t care about how bad their app is functioning. Honestly really disappointed. At least fix the crashing.

I’ve been playing restaurant story for a few year’s now, when I first started playing I was very young so I really didn’t have a Issue with anything cause It didn’t bother me, I just started back & I see y’all have been coming out with so many new appliances & I think y’all should really extend the day’s from 15 back to 30 ! 15 Is honestly not enough...and I don’t think It’s fair that people who missed goal’s from month’s prior don’t get a chance to do them ( me ) 😕 I thought once you hit level 55 we get to do all the goal’s that we missed but we don’t which Is so stupid 🧏🏽‍♀️ I hate It when I build a new stove thinking I’m going to have access to all the recipe’s & then every good recipe Is locked cause It was a goal :( I really think you guy’s should make a few change’s please, the game really Isn’t as fun as It use to be

Pop up terror. PLEASE GIVE MORE TIME FOR QUESTS!!! even if I work daily to complete (which is extra hard being chronicly ill) I still run out of time...with every quest comes with side quests..need to give us an extra day or three...had to put this here since messages are ignored :/ Cute enough game but you probably will be quickly annoyed and turned away by the tons of pop ups. Be it a pop up to buy this or get this game, you face an on slought that hits at the start of the game and has even hit me in the middle of game play costing me diamonds and coins. Each suggestion for change ( like putting the offers in a notification list on the side ) goes ignored. Sadly I remain hooked on getting seasonal shop things and playing though, between breaks when annoyed with the game. If you have better patience you'll love it.

I keep losing interest. The game just isn’t the same. The goals used to be doable without having a ton of neighbors, the goals are too short and you have to cook way too many recipes to complete in time. It takes too long to tip and gift neighbors, items are to expensive especially since its so hard to get gems in the first place. I remember when i could complete goals in time. Don’t get me started on the intrusive adds, you are already have to sit through adds to get free gems, the add pop ups while you’re trying to cook is excessive and unnecessary; not to mention time consuming. If you live a busy life i would not recommend playing this game, this is not the game that you can check in and check out, especially if you have a high number of neighbors. For the reasons, i find myself playing this game off and on. It just gets to the point were it feel like a chore than a relaxing mobile game.

Feeling very frustrated. I have been playing this for a lot of years since it came out. I also play bakery story. And lately I have realized you give hardly and money for daily visits or anything else like bakery story gives lots of money for Dailey and other visits. Because I don't get a whole lot of money I never get to finish decorating my restaurant or expand because you only give a little amount. It's crazy when I play bakery story I always finish decorating and other stuff. It's so bad that after all these years of playing I don't want to because of this fact!!! So you need to up the anti because bakery story is amazing and I've been playing that one also since it came out! So start giving more money for daileys and other things or I'm done!!!! Please bring back gem dispensers & old goals. I like this game and at level 99 . I need to play to keep my rate at 3/4 stars . It’s a nice game but gems are are to get . How about bringing back some items and goals that many have missed out on like the Gems dispensers and older goal gifts like the pink poodle or the penguins? A button to click to get all food would be awesome. Making goals easier to achieve instead of impossible so it’s more fun.. Not losing my 4 star rating if I miss a day or 2 of not playing .. I have met some really awesome people. For that reason I would give 5 stars . But , I am giving 4 stars because it keeps kicking me off or can be extremely slow and sluggish to play . Coin ripoff. I just downloaded this game, and I think it’s pretty good so far, but the hardest thing in this game is coins. Whenever I get back to the game in the morning, even though I had food out, my coins were only, like, 764 or some tiny amount like that. Some of the food has a fake on what you earn. For example, the Lovely pancakes. It says you get 2,600 coins whenever the customer eats it. But, the truth is, I only get 10 coins each. What a ripoff! What does ‘expensive’ mean to you? For this game, expensive is 1,100. Yeah, so I don’t EVER have enough coins to buy things. Simple white tiles even cost a lot to me! Overall, I feel this game is pretty good, but please make it easier to manage coins. Thank you for reading.

Improvements to be made!. I've been playing both restaurant story & bakery story for about 5 years now & it's becoming less enjoyable because the challenges are too short & I can't complete them I'm literally lucky enough to just build the first oven & get the first recipe & then the challenge expires this is seriously frustrating! & the reason why I haven't played in a long time! I'm sick of having to spend real money to try & get all the recipes & ovens & decorations! Also I find it frustrating that everyone else has a gem dispenser & I can't get one due to the fact that I have an iPhone! If you want people to keep playing the game you need to make the challenges longer like they use to be 30days & bring back the gem dispenser for iPhone players! I would play this game more if these issues were fixed & I'm sure a lot of others would agree.

Keeps freezing and losing track!. You just get started and catch up from the last freeze and then it freezes up again. Disappointed cause I actually like playing it.

Game good, pop up download different apps are beyond annoying. I love playing this game as well as the baking one but the pop ups all the time are so annoying you have to close like 3-4 pop ups to play the games .. they are trying to get you to download other games but it’s so forceful in your face all the time popping up down load this and download that it’s annoying .. just do a little video for extra sped up time like everyone else .. makes me not want to play it as it that annoying

Bugs - deleting process of game. This game is so fun and addicting but I have noticed a few bugs, that are making me consider deleting this app. For example, I leveled up and received $5000, so I purchased some tiles which only equaled to $1250 but suddenly the app “was processing purchase” and suddenly all the money I got disappeared completely and all the tiles I purchased were removed. Absolutely horrible, makes the game a nightmare to play, I’ve had this happen 3 times in the span of one day. Please fix this issue

Automatic kick out. Stopped playing for a few years as updates weren’t great for when I had the iPhone 6s Plus. Now I’m using the iPhone XS Max and not only is there no screen support, I am constantly being kicked out of the app or I have multiple glitches in the game and it’s not the most enjoyable part. Run your own restaurant!. If you're wondering a game where you can cook your favourite foods and decorating it in your own way, you should try this game. Everyone should give this 5 stars because it allows you to make breakfast, lunch, dinner and... even desserts! Decorations look cool and that lets you make your restaurant awesome and nice! You can write messages to people's walls to make them really happy! The only bad thing is that gems are way too hard to get. This should be a popular cooking game! In the upsides, similar to Bakery Story! Lol

What’s happening. I am playing this game for few months now, I was on level 49 while playing it says connect to Facebook for latest update I accidentally pressed okay and page got crash when I open the app again it bring me to level one I deleted the app and installed it again but it’s still the same so frustrating.

Fix please. Love the game but when I come back after a few hours to play I always have to force close the app because it doesn’t work. Long term player, loyal and longtime player. I’ve been playing this game along with Bakery Story, Home Design Story (my first storm 8 game), Fashion Story (my second storm 8 game), Pet shop story, Dragon story, etc, I have played every game Storm 8 Team Lava has made. I would love to rate this game 5*****stars because I have thoroughly enjoyed it in the past, however the way it works now is no where near as great as it was when I started playing about 9 years ago. Every week there were new decorations to buy, new tables, chairs, wallpapers, floor tiles, wall decor and new ovens with new recipes. I would look forward to seeing the new decor every week. The way it works now means that you must have loads of neighbours in order to get enough ovens etc to be able to finish the tasks in time to get the new decor items. I would love it if you went back to the way it was, if not completely the same, a combination of the new and old way would be an improvement. When you’re on to a good thing, stay with it, don’t change something that works. Changes that improve the game are great but the changes have not improved the game. Also the problem with having to restart the game over and over because it gets stuck on “processing “ needs to be fixed. You guys started out really well, I hope that you listen to the feedback and make the games as great as they were in the beginning.

Reuse past goal appliances instead of adding more. Instead of adding new appliances for goals, to use past ones but adding new goal recipes so people who have missed unlocking those appliances have a chance.

Needs a major update. I absolutely love the concept of the game and I used to love playing it years ago but unfortunately as technology evolved the game has stayed behind. Too many pop ups everytime you open the game, no option to see who you’ve already tipped or requested parts from, the whole game lags, not enough short timed meals to cook, I feel like 1 day plus is ridiculous for a dish. It would be nice to have a feature where you can see what players are active instead of having a friends list full of inactive players or to know when their gifts are full so you’re not wasting time trying to send them.

It’s okayish. This game, it’s good and all but a few glitches here and there. First there are these times when I cook food but when I go on the app the next day they are not cooking. This is a serious problem that has to be fixed right now! Second if you have deleted the app at least once, it doesn’t delete your old restaurants, another problem. Any way I wish these things could be fixed so I could’ve given this game a higher rate but that’s not possible, I kind of like how you can design your own restaurant and add neighbours like I said it’s okay👌

How do I reset my restaurant?. So I was playing it and realised I didn’t like my restaurant anymore and I deleted the game and the same restaurant was there, all I’m saying I just wanna start all over again, if someone from the storm8 team and help me that’ll be great.

Ads are annoying. I used to love this game but recently, an ad will pop up just after 5 seconds of logging in. The food are getting so ugly, always too small in horrid trays(who serves food in a kitchen tray?). I don’t even want to serve the latest foods in my counters. I don’t know how long I can still play this game. I’m getting so annoyed with the ads & the food.

Seriously needs updating. I started playing this game when there was a button to send all my friends a gift at once, where did the button go? Why was it taken away? It’s such a time consuming game to have to individually select each friend to send them a gift, especially when you are all working towards the same goals and they all need the same parts that you also need. Select the gift/part/food then select All friends and send, was so much better than it is now. Also, goals are ridiculous now with the amount of pieces needed to build each stove/oven. Seriously takes away the enjoyment of the game when so much time is spent trying to collect Enough pieces to build with. It takes too long to collect enough pieces and you miss out on achieving the end goal. What’s the point!?.

I love playing this game and I have been playing it for quite some times now but the developers of this game really need a Reasonable Calculation Goal days, for example: current goal of Paddy’s day part3 where players need to complete 10batches of 12 hours Irish beef stew in less than 5 days whereas the goal only have 5 days to complete, 10 batches of 12 hours need 5 days to complete. I just wonder what is the idea of this goal, is it for players to spend money to buy gems or is it for players to add alot more neighbor or is it an impossible goal to complete ??? Bug fix update. I can’t find the cosmic soda. It’s disappeared from my menu. Hopefully it updates soon. Needs more regular updates. Good game though.

Addictive game!. I love this game. I am on it every day! It’s very addictive, I have been playing it ever since it has come out and I am inlove with it! It feels like I have grown with the game as the years go by. Lol. Hope it never stops! Well done for such a great game. Gem Dispenser. I play on an iPhone and I would love the gem dispenser to come back! Even for a short time to purchase one. Its an amazing game but it would be even more enjoyable if I could get some more gems to buy more decorations and crates. I also love that there is more recipes coming out giving us players a chance to master more recipes for more gems as well :)

Great but crashes+too many ads. Please upgrade and fix glitches; it always crashes and refreshes when opening - tips are collected but stay on tables, food is served but left on appliances. Include a ‘select all’ tab when sending gifts. Make it easier for accounts to chat between each other. Clean up appliances you can no longer buy or obtain from goals, clean up parts you can send to neighbours. Please please please.

Weird calls. Think it’s a little odd that it’s been less then 24 hours since I downloaded this and have already received 6 scam calls (never got them before this game was on my phone)

Goal releases poorly timed. Please go back to your old goal release schedule. Now there are 2 goals going on at the same time and it is very frustrating to try and keep up with. Having to ask friends for appliance parts for too many appliances makes it unattainable. Unless that was your goal to make ppl buy gems. I hope not, because I buy my fair share of gems, but if you’re going to get greedy it’s just not worth it for me.

Game Progress lost. When I went back into the game to check on the recipes I was making. The game glitched and I suddenly lost all my game progress. I had the game saved through my game ID and it’s all gone.

Pls listen to players’ suggestions. My son was in preschool when we started playing this game together and he is in university now. I keep up the game out of sentimentality. I wish there was a warning when gems are accidentally spent, and a way to retrieve them back from support team, who never reply back. I also feel the game needs update without relying on weekly goals. New dishes are always presented on trays that it is starting to look like cafeteria story than a restaurant. Still a cute game to play with little ones.

Love This Game (Update). I’ve been playing this game everyday since 2011, and it’s still one of my favourites! Update: I still love this game, however it crashes multiple times every time I enter it (which is a couple times a day). This morning has been the worst so far. I’ve been trying to get my food and put new food on for the past 15 minutes, but it’s just crashed for the 7th time. I’ve messaged you in every way I can to ask you for an update, this is my last option, and unfortunately I have to give you 1 star because the game is currently unplayable.

The algorithm that governs the goal parts won’t give you enough to build appliances in time even with nbr’s gifts. Play to Win is not cool! Fun. I have been playing this game for years and its really fun. However this is my second account. The last one I lost my progress when my tab died.

Progress deleted randomly. Ive been playing for about 6 months. Liked it a lot, made it to level 56 or so. Today, the app lost all my progress and started again at level 1. I have no way to log back in to my account because the option isnt there.

Really amazing game. This has been a favourite of mine for many years. I don’t know what these people are talking about. I get like 1 ad a little bit after I get on the app, and then I get no more, which is really good compared to most games. I can meet with new people and I can become neighbours with them, and we don’t have to know each other in real life either ❤️. I am not lying and out of my many years of playing this, this game has only crashed a few times.

I really love this game but.... He promises 20 gems if you connect with your facebook, which is impossible, because it always gives an error, I've tried thousands of times. Other than that I always win prizes in coins, but these, or the things I bought with them, disappear in the next instant. I'm hoping these issues get resolved, so I'll change my review.

Restaurant Story. Design and graphics never improve. Expensive to expand. It would be nice to buy the missed goals for a reasonable number of gems. Sometimes schools cannot be obtained because of the glitch and the game software and because you lose time you miss your goal. And trying to find support, it does not exist. Except for speaking to other players, you are on your own.

Customers. There needs to be more customers, it looks a little empty.

Frustrated. The second time I have spent coins to buy something and my money and item I purchased disappeared. So frustrating. I’ve been playing this game for years and first time this has been happening

No support. When you first start the game you get to watch videos for gems. 10 per day. Until you pay for gems and then they take the free ones away. I had my free ones until 3 days ago and the game glitched and gave me over my 10 videos to watch. I never paid for gems once and now they are gone! Frustrating because everything cost gems In this game. Impossible to expand without them. Emailed support and got “sorry no support for this game” I want my free gems back!

Not receiving goals. Started playing this game again after 3 years and realized the game went down hill. Realized some users get new goals and didn’t receive any new goals. Really disappointed. Always crashes and for my popcorn maker, recipes are missing. Tried to contact support, but got an automated response that they no longer support restaurant story and told me maybe I’ll find it in forums.

good app but needs improvements. it takes soooo long for my customers to eat everything off the table. it’s been a day and all the food from yesterday is still on the table and money is coming in slowly. would prefer if it didn’t take so long so i can place new food

Buggy, patience required. Crashes A LOT, often I have to redo recipe and appliance choices due to crashing, hard to tip because it often crashes Music cuts out often, sometimes does a horrid jarring noice during a crash that I have to stop running the app to make it end. When it crashes during food prep, I have to recognize everything and the money is lost. I played this before goals were even a thing and it ran quite smoothly (I’m not hating the goals, they’re fun) Please fix this app so that it’s less of a gamble to use It’s fun when it manages to play a good while before crashing. Bakery story has the same problems

Bug. They proposed me to connect my Facebook and give me 30 gems but they never showed up when I connected. I also leveled up and earn enough money to by my stove and when I bought it I chose a recipe and when I closed it my stove and my 2,500$ disappeared.

Gems. This game is stingy on gems and you don't get much for your money. It's hard to decorate as you have to remove some items one by one. Wayyyyy to many ads that gives nothing in return. Used to be fun. I've invested a lot. When I can decorate properly it's enjoyable. Tipping is a chore though.

inviting friends a requirement. I got to a certain point and couldn’t expand without inviting friends. so stupid. as if I’m going to text my friends to invite them.

Pop ups. It’s funny how many widgets block the screen to download your other games pop up like you guys make enjoyable games. You hit the button for the food you want, you wait hours, then you tap the food again.

Amazing!!!. This game is fantastic!!! I love how realistic it is with the neighboring restaurants!!! In the past I downloaded the game six times and deleted the game Couples days later because I had no clue what I was doing. Then again I was 7-10. Now I’m 13 and I know what’s going on and I have achieved so much more!!! The only complaint I have is that food takes too long to cook and we don’t get enough videos to get gems. Plus the materials are too expensive. Maybe lower the prices or raise the reward money...other than that this game is amazing!!!

It’s okay, but seems forgotten by the company. It is a fun game, but it seems to be a game the company forgot about. There isn’t a lot of information about the cooking appliances and many you have to spend money to get. There are so many that are older appliances that you can’t actually use because the recipes were unlocked by completing “goals” ages ago and will likely never happen again. They need to put some sort of warning on those. I agree with other reviews stating you have to spend real money on gems or have a ton of neighbors to do anything and the short terms goals to unlock recipes on new appliance (not those old ones!!!!) are nearly impossible.

STOP IGNORING US. Obviously, you guys don’t read your reviews or maybe you do. Maybe you read them but don’t care about the thoughts of your players. Maybe that’s why other restaurant games have 10x better reviews than you do but that reflects on YOU and not us. Update the game, fix the glitches, get rid of having to visit EVERY daggone neighbor, stop with the 20+ parts needed to build a stove/oven, stop with the ads interrupting as soon as you open the app, fix the missing gems issue, give us a different way to get parts besides paying and having to wait on neighbors to give us the parts! This is ALL too time consuming. LISTEN to your players and FIX THIS MESS!! It’s been over a year since we have been complaining and yet you still do NOTHING. Show that you appreciate us. That’s not hard to do!

Only one concern. It’s a fun game and all but something that really frustrates me is when out of nowhere sometimes the app freezes and gets stuck on the word processing. It not only deletes or erases the past actions you make but it also keeps the money you spent on an action. Therefore, I currently have no money. I was doing a task , I finished it and I got two gems for it. Then after a few seconds it says processing and kaboom! I lose all the data. It was like I never did the task or got rewarded for it but it just kept the money I spent. If you buy this game it teaches you how to design and create but be prepared for some frustrating moments that may or may not effect your cash or gems.

fun game but has a few quirks. this game is so fun I played some years ago and I still enjoy it however I do have a few grievances first, I think expanding your restaurant and customizing it is so expensive? 20,000 for a counter top is ridiculous and makes customizing such a slow process I also want to add that the game is really glitchy and will crash from time to time.. I think the ads are bit excessive and at the very least there should be an option to purchase ad removal— finally it’s 2022 why aren’t we able to customize our chefs we all have to be white? I think there should be options to customize our chef appearance!

Locked goals. I’ve been playing this game & the bakery story game for YEARS but still have many many goals still locked. Specifically the goals under the design section for the floor items. If I’m at the highest level or rank then why am I not allowed access to all of the goal floor items? Or at least be able to buy them with coins? I want to be able to design my restaurant and bakery however I want to but Im not able to because of things being locked.

Fun and relaxing!!. I have been playing for several years! I hate giving reviews but finally decided to give one!! I enjoy this game! The players/restaurant owners I have as friends understand it is a game to me! Family and work come first! I silently tip. I usually tip everyday if I am able! One you reach level 99, I understand it is basically having fun with the challenges! So if you just need a game to relax with this is your game! It will provide you with challenges to meet!

Fun and Creative. I have played restaurant story off and on it is a fun game to play, it get the creative juices going when you design your own restaurant. I’ve seen some amazing restaurants on there. A complaint I want to make is that you should be able to unlock some of these specialty dishes in the specialty appliances with gems at the very least not just goals. It’s very frustrating to be limited on some dishes and I’m never going to even see those goals let alone complete them.

Goals are ridiculous very costly. Love this game been playing for over 10 years. I quit bc the goals were to costly to finish and the rewards and micro recipes weren't worth it anymore. The requirements r ridiculous to build appliances in such short period of time. Then they require up to 25 recipes at 10 hour cook time ridiculous!!! I recently started playing again nothing has changed in my 3 year break. Re-design the bakery takes forever due to almost ever decor u have to scroll through again to place. S8 needs to do BETTER!!! Dont understand why they won't add a search bar or allow us to place an item more than once when decorating. You would think S8 would at least try to make the gameplay less stressful by adding that feature especially for working folks.

Fun, and entertaining. I've been playing for some time now. ( over 2 years now) Started on the kindle and sadly they were so many glitches that I almost left, but moving the game to the iPhone was simple as logging in didn't loose anything. Lots to do and keeps you busy for a good time, I like the new items that come in every now and then, but I guess I miss something down the road, because I've seen the Halloween items in my neighborhood but I still haven't received them yet.

Too many bugs. I’ve been playing this game for a few years now. It has a major bug issue that needs to be resolved sometimes you have to get out the application completely then go back in just to reset it, this can be annoying and also at time it messes up the dishes you’re preparing. Challenges are nice, although I do wish they gave you a little more time to complete sometimes they’re impossible especially if you’re a new user with not many appliances. Overall, I enjoy the game.

Its awesome just one complaint. okay so first this game is super fun and oddly satisfying to play. i like the different foods around the world and i like how we can chose our flooring because the beginning flooring is ugly. one thing that i would like to complain about is that when i go to build, all my customers go away. other games let you build while people are in the restaurant. i will end up losing customers and money when they are eating and i want to build. other than that i love this game and i would like to see new updates in the future!

Game needs bug fixes. I’ve played this game off and on forever. I’ve always loved it and didn’t mind the prices too much. Recently the glitches have been horrible though. I’ll make food and go to place it and then a glitch happens and the food I cooked is gone. Or I’ll try to purchase something and it’ll tell me I don’t have enough and leave me with less money than I originally had. Would love for the walls and floors to be all-in-one buys because I HATE having to spend so much on one strip of wallpaper or one tile. It’s unnecessary in my opinion, money could be spent wiser on other things. Please fix the bug issues it’s really frustrating and discouraging.

Fix bugs, too many glitches - Update software!. Please fix the bugs, and excessive ads that sporadically pop-up. Loading takes awhile at times. Don’t always receive gems, although I watched the useless ads. Complete tasks and it’s stating I didn’t, so having to recooked and repurchase items. I feel, as though I had a few items I earned through tasks, but when I check, I no longer have and have to actually purchase..what’s the point of completing tasks? More creative tasks and less restrictions in receiving items and gifts from others (more than one) for a given task. The game is awesome and could be perfect with the fixes mentioned (as well as what other reviewers are stating).

Trouble with game. This game keeps shutting down when I try to do anything. The game works on my phone but on the I pad it hasn’t had updates in a while and it also takes forever to load and for the first couple of minutes the people move in slow motion and I have to wait to do anything. I enjoy this game but this is not the first time the game has done this, the last time it just would not go past the front screen and I lost my game at level 143 and I put so much money into the game and had to restart from the beginning and now I’m over 200 and I’m worried that will happen again.

Great Game!. I love restaurant story! I’ve been playing this game since my first iPhone, the 3GS and it’s only gotten better. The freedom of customization your shop however you want is great and the fact that coins aren’t very hard to obtain makes decorating fun since there’s no limit really (besides not having reached the next level). I love that we’re able to watch videos for coins and gems; this makes completing goals and expanding easier. Keep up the great work! 💖💖💖

Food disappears :(. This game is fun. I’ve been playing this game on and off since 2016. However not too long ago this game has had so many glitches that I’ve never seen before. The game starts “processing” and just freezes. I have to close out and come back to the game. The most unfortunate thing is that my food DISAPPEARS! I would have my restaurant closed with no customers coming in and I go out of the app come back later (while restaurant is still closed) and half of my dishes are gone! This glitch is very frustrating. Because food takes hours to cook and those hours of time just goes down the drain. I’ve never seen anything like this. I will soon delete this game for good if this glitch continues.

Love it, but. I love this game, and have yet to come across the “loading glitch”, however, there is a “glitch” that the food of the same type does not stack unless all serving tables are full of food. If I have the same food on every counter, they will not combine down to one counter, and making more will add to a random counter with that particular food on it, not one select counter. I have to block my door in order to keep customers from coming in and eating literally everything until I can build up a supply of food for them again due to this. I’ve had to throw away so much food due to this problem. I’m surprised the customers haven’t started gnawing on my tables... Please fix this. Thanks - Wally Also, on a side note, I know myself and several other players have felt the “burden” of nothing else to do in game but wait for the timers. Is it possible to add small mini-games that could either offer a gem or coins as a reward? Just something else to consider to keep people interested.

10 min of exiting out of ads before you even get to play. good god find some better way to make revenue other than ads. literally can’t even play for the first 10 min because im just sitting there clicking out of the ads that pop up. if i made a game that had this many ads i’d kms. also why does it take 12 hours to make 300 sandwiches. they’re gonna be gone within 5 min so why does it take 12 hours. this game needs some serious redevelopment. i’ve had this game for like 10 years now and it’s the EXACT SAME as it was then. hexing the creator and anyone involved as i type this.

Game is slightly annoying. There’s SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many pop ups and soooooooooooooo many ads. Like I could have just watched an ad and not even 2 full seconds (no exaggeration) another one will pop up. Like the ads alone make me delete this app every time. What’s crazy is I have SEVERAL games on my phone with ads BUT THIS GAME DOES THE ABSOLUTE MOST! It’s honestly cringe. I’m done this time though I don’t have time for that many ads. Whole point of me playing games is to get my mind off things. How can I do that when I’ve had 8 ads in 1 minute? Making my customers leave in the game because I’m soooooooo busy closing pop ups and watching ads. Which of course counts against you in the game. It’s just super annoying and quite frankly it’s stupid.

VERY limiting. You must have X number of neighbors if you wish to expand your establishment. Either that or buy gems with actual money, which I cannot justify. And you cannot request to neighbor other players, oh no. You gotta harass your friends with annoying game requests. Food takes forever to cook and then spoils if your life doesn’t revolve around this game. The amount of plates of a certain dish does not off-set prep time. A stew may take 2 days but only prepare 1500 servings, which is gone in a half-hour or so. You can speed up prep times and earn extra gems by watching a video, *IF* it loads. Then the prep time videos are limited to like 6 or so a day. If I wanna sit and watch ads all day to speed up a 2 day recipe, I should be able to do so. What is it to the game developers?

great game but it needs fixing and more explanations. i love this game - i kid you not, i’ve been playing since around 2011 - but it needs some updates. they should add more levels - why only stop it at 100? also, what in the world are all those other things that people give as gifts? like what do you do with them? they should add more foods and drinks along with more levels. that’s probably the problem though, it’s been the same game SINCE 2011 so yea, needs new things. i still love it though and the graphics are so cute!

Was a good game now terrible. I love this game it’s actually my favorite game of all time I have been playing it for many years. The problems are HUGE now that I have reached level 99 I cannot buy any new stoves due to the level and I have to use 50 gems to just open up the area to buy the stoves then another 50 to purchase ! totally frustrating and not right! Now the worst problem is the processing error that causes me to delete the game and reload it in order for me to play it. Now also on both bakery story and restaurant story the ads now automatically pop up and you can not opt out and have to watch the entire ad!!! So you are going to lose me as a loyal lover of this game cause I can’t take it anymore. The new versions of this game is Bakery Story 2 is horrible.

Too many ads, can't switch accounts. I miss the times when this game was ad-free. Now it has way too many unskippable 20-30 second ads to be enjoyable. While you can switch accounts in other Storm8 games (even if you have to go to either Bakery or Dragon Story to access the login page), in Restaurant, you are permanently stuck with whatever account was linked to your device when you first installed the app. There was also an optional goal from late June to early July 2023 that required you to make 5 Cosmic Sodas. However, the dish is nowhere to be found on the basic stove, oven or grill. The game does not even give the slightest hint on where to find it.

What's not broken DONT FIX!. Ok so I've seen a lot of complaints about the new update. First off, I am WELL past level 99 lol. I had a problem with trying to mass gift also. It's not an option to pick your friends gift from the home screen. How u have to do it now friends, is u have to VISIT EVERY friends place to GIFT THEM WHAT U WANT! That's the ONLY way to do it! It took me a while to figure that out😆. It can get kinda inconvenient, but that's the ONLY way. PLEASE stop changing things! ESPECIALLY when I didn't even UPDATE, it just CHANGED to this mode😑! Other than that, I love the game because I have YEARS invested lol

Ad friendly choppy game. Too many adds and other bonus app pop ups. Makes the game choppy and glitchy. I had Several occurrences where food ready to be served would disappear when putting it on counters and not give the coins for it because of pop up ads. Plus you need a certain # off friends to play in order to expand past a certain point even with the required gold amount for it, therefore limiting your size and possibilities. Basically a money and time waste after a certain point. It was fun at first but got tiresome and crappy after a while. Fix the ads and expansion limit and I’ll give 5 stars and would love to continue playing. This was a nostalgic game for me too. Used to love playing it when I was younger.

Love / hate relationship!. I love playing this game....mostly. It is fun however their pop up make me want to throw my phone every time I play! I REALLY don’t mind ads usually, but these come one after the next when you begin, & it makes me click on things I don’t want to. You have to tap to run your restaurant, but when I go to tap, something pops up 😬 & I accidentally click that, taking me to the App Store. Occasionally I have inadvertently made a purchase I didn’t want to because of this. Very frustrating, & some neighbors are rude if u don’t visit & tip them everyday(which is too time consuming if u have a lot of neighbors)....but u need lots of neighbors to complete challenges. 🙄....otherwise, love playing!!

This game COULD be really great.. This game is fun but there are aspects that are frustrating. First, ads pop up randomly. I understand you want to make money. But those ads are annoying and random. You have to tap through several ads just to start playing. Perhaps just create an option where we can pay for ad free experience. The goals are ridiculous and the tasks are arbitrary. They just don’t make sense and there is no real incentive. In order to expand your restaurant you don’t just need to earn money you need “neighbors”. This is frankly stupid. There’s no point. I like this game enough that I download it every now and again but will eventually delete it due to the feeling for getting no where. This game COULD be really great.

Unattainable Goals Now. Have been playing for a few years. Unless you have time to spend hourly on this game now you’ll have difficulty making the goals and getting the prize (would rather earn items instead of large placement things as well). Was better until the past few months. Have made some neighbor friends and hate to leave because of them. One other annoying thing is the constant pop up ads. Honestly would have paid a few bucks upfront to not have them. I hope they will reevaluate the changes they made moving forward because it is fun making and arranging your restaurant and chatting with your neighbors.

Too many glitches!. This game has so many glitches. Even with the new update, they’re still happening. You go to serve the food and it jumps back onto the stove. Most of the time when you click on “watch ad to speed up”, the ad won’t appear. You put up a decoration and come back later and it’s gone. This is my 3rd time playing it (couldn’t remember my log ins from old accounts) and it’s been like this for awhile. And when you log into it, so many things pop up and stop you from playing. I like the game, I like designing things, etc but these glitches need to be handled.

Open and closing of your cafe. I love playing this game I wake up out of the sleep to make sure I don’t run out of food for my cafe but the down side of the game is I think on your next update you she put a where people can close the cafe when they get ready for bed and reopen when they are ready to so all the food wouldn’t be all gone and then that leave a person to play caught up. I play Cafeland and if you click on your name you can open and close your restaurant when you want to so please keep this in mind the next time you do and update because that’s the only reason I gave it a 3 star rating

Has its bugs but overall.... I love this game! Yes there are problems here and there, such as the game taking my coins but not expanding my restaurant 😕, butttt this game is pretty entertaining! And now u can earn gems by watching videos or to speed up a item cooking Update: the option to watch a thirty second video to eArn gems has disappeared! I can still watch a video to speed up cooking time but I can’t earn them to spend on decor and such. This is a bug that needs to be fixed!

Many years a fan but.... I have been playing this game for many years now and have always loved it. However though, as with all games, the ads are finally taking over. The ad in the middle of the game when you are trying to do important restaurant dish harvesting is disappointing. I understand that the bills have to be paid, but golly gee! Also the glitches in the game now are undeniably annoying. Now I cannot harvest dishes without the graphics staying the same as I am loading another dish on the burner. I am sorry guys but I have to uninstall. Thanks for the many years of great gaming!

Glitching a lot. Great game I’ve played this on and off for many years now and always end up addicted . Playing now I’m seeing a lot of glitching. When i make a meal it would take my coins but not make the meal i paid for. Also when i watch a video to double my coins i get all the way through the video and don’t receive the coins as stated. When i complete a goal it says i win a certain amount of coins but it doesn’t actually give it to you. Would love to make this 5 stars if the glitching can be fixed and the right amount of coins be returned and fixed so the cuter goals , meals, and tips are paid out correctly! Thank you.

Needs updates!!!. I love this game and I have for years but it needs some SERIOUS updates. 1st, if you’re going to keep putting ads in the game, stop letting them pop up right when we’re in the middle of preparing/serving food! It’s ridiculous! 2nd, there is no reason all my counters should be empty after I close the game for 30 minutes. I had THOUSANDS of different kinds of foods prepared that took me quite a few days to do just for them to be gone in 30 minutes when I get back on! That is just crazy. Please work on these things because it’s getting very hard for me to continue playing your games if all my work is just gonna be gone within 30 minutes. Thank you

Fun Game. I love the cooking but I LOVE the decorating more! I only started playing about a year ago and missed out on so many awesome goal decorations. The root beer bar to name just one. The high top bar, the log cabin decor, etc. I wish they would offer old goal decor at gem prices so not to diminish the time and effort of those who WORKED the goals. The only negative I can say is that I wish all Goal Prizes and Decor would always match the theme. I also wish that there were less decor with little kids and animals and more grown up decor.

Fun game but needs so many fixes!. I’ve been a devoted player of this game for many years but there’s so many issues that need fixing. Everyone’s lives are busy. It’s become expensive without any significant improvements! Currently its shortchanging daily gifts and part requests for goal challenges. The design tab is horribly organized. Gift inventory is need of organization as well. Having to click repeatedly 50x just to set out one table is unthinkable. We have shown love & dedication for this invention. Please hear our cry for help!!

What?. I rated this game 5 stars when I started playing because I was enjoying it but then it started buggin and the ads are ridiculous, can’t even start the game without a screen popping up wanting me to download another game. I have also been having trouble with finishing up dishes and serving the food and I shut the game off temporarily to go do something or to play another game and when I load this game back up all the food is gone! It’s like I never made anything and have to make the food all over again, it’s very irritating. I would email customer service but I’ve seen a lot of reviews on here that haven’t had such luck. If things are fixed and game is back to being playable I will consider playing it again.

Good for making friends kinda. I keep playing because I’ve made a few friends. Outside of that the game leaves much to be desired. There are a lot of inconsistencies in it and too many pop up ads. The ads are intrusive and will pop up while your trying to tap something else, food goes bad before it should and food goes missing from the counters. Missing coins, missing gems, and dishes with low serving amounts take 4+ hours to days to prepare. The decorations are boring and items can only be setup in facing one direction. It’s just boring with glitches that should have been resolved YEARS ago, but there is no incentive to do so since the trillion of ads is making them money.

Been playing this since middle school. I’ve played this game for quite some time, and I’m still not bored or sick of it. It’s fun to delete for a while and come back to. I’ve played it on and off for about 7 years and it’s still one of my favorites. There’s lots of food, hundreds of different decorations, wallpapers, etc. I change up my restaurant and it feels like a whole new game. Idk man, I usually skip writing reviews but felt this game deserved one. 10/10 would recommend to strangers on the internet

You guys have to fix this bug!!. This is by far my fav storm 8 game. However, recently I updated it and now the game has annoying glitches throughout. For example, when plates are completed and you press to set them on the counter it glitches then goes back on the stove. Second, some plates come off the grill with much lesser plates then the original total. When collecting tips it glitches and makes you collect it again even after you already clicked that table for that tip. Also going into the game after first load up the customers glitch out then come in then glitch out then come back into the restaurant. Hopefully this can be resolved because it’s a very annoying situation.

Be careful - very careful. I have been playing this game for almost 20 years - have made some delightful friends during that time. I’ve had some issues with Team Lava/Storm8 over those years, but until recently nothing serious (as in $$ issues). There are now MANY ADS that make this game less enjoyable, but today I inadvertently and accidentally touched something on one of them and found that I’d purchased ’gems’ in the amount of a whopping $42. It is going to take a month literally to get a refund…. maybe…. if they decide. So…. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU TOUCH IN THIS GAME!!!!

Cute game💕. It’s a cute game, great game, I love how cute and decorative we can make it I like how slow and relaxing we can play it. the reason I took one star off is because 1. From beginning of the game when selling stuff we don’t need in store we get the WHOLE total amount back but right when you reach level 58 the selling product only gives back 5% what’s the deal with that? 2. When AI is eating the food, every AI give the same amount coin which is +4 not higher or lower even if the food you make cost more so your not getting the right amount of coin back. 3. The time limit. The event for making the food has time limit on it. I don’t mind it it’s just that the limit don’t match up to the food for example they will ask us to make 15 turkey dishes that takes 2 days to make but only give 6 days to finish…. Don’t match up not spending just to finish it ….. 4. Sometime the event task give us task that is t to our level so we can’t make or finish it. 5.

Fun glitches. I have enjoyed Restaurant story for several years new. It is fun, easy and has many design options that I truly enjoy. My biggest problem is that when I first use the app after a few hours( or several hours) of disuse it tends to freeze up my phone forcing me to hard power off and restart my devise. My husband thinks it is spy ware that downloads viruses but……. I don’t have much vital information that people can use. Yes my identity is threatened possibly but since I have NO MONEY or extensive accounts that can be hacked I still play it against his wishes.

Scam Game. This game is a fun pass time, but for two days now I’ve been making dishes that require at least 4 hours. When they’re finally ready to go and I click on them the game will pull up a loading sign to which I have to refresh because the loading sign will never go away. After refreshing the app all my dishes are freaking gone and I’m left to start the process over. It’s very frustrating and I have full WiFi connection. I’ve spent money in this game and I feel like my progress is going down the drain so I'm probably going to delete soon if this keeps happening. Im not going to spend money on a game that’s scamming me!

Surprised. I played this game YEARS & YEARS ago . I believe it was 2019 I purchased a updated tablet. And had no idea a few days ago I saw the Restaurant game from years ago, for giggles I re-downloaded it and OMG after 3 or more years there was my same restaurant! All my coins & furniture and gems + goodies for decorating where still there.. I am once again enjoying this game. I especially like this game because It’s calming and I love redecorating my restaurant ALL the time.. way cool for the brain . Good to be back…

NEW EQUIPMENT & RECIPES NEEDED. Needs help! Game used to be a lot of fun now not as much except for goals which are tiresome. Used to have equipment release days plus recipes released on original ovens. Now just goals with ridiculous amounts of parts needed and not so great prizes. Needs a creative update. The Irish castle was wonderful. Please bring back new recipes and equipment releases. Please have beautiful fountains as prizes. Please add back parts collection in cooking food on original ovens or reduce parts. Please increase parts gifted and requested amount. Not enough for amount now needed. Please pay attention.

Seriously don’t bother…. Unless you are able to play literally ALL day then don’t bother! The goals are ridiculous and the appliances require an exorbitant amount of parts! 78 parts required for the 2nd part of the 14 day goal ovens! Not to worry though… you can send out 20 parts requests each day and hope your neighbors respond. You can also accept 20 gifts from your neighbors each day but in all honesty unless you’ve been playing for years to get those awesome neighbors then HA! Not gonna happen. Storm8 wants you to spend your hard earned money (real) just to be able to finish a goal and get some stupid recycled decoration that if you’ve been playing for years you probably have 2 of already. Honestly not happy with the whole game!
