Finally. I gave up on digital mind mapping a decade ago. The apps were awkward and never felt organic, like I was working too hard. When I tried SimpleMind it was a rush. Exactly the same feeling when I used to MM on whiteboards, but even more so since I could move things around easily. After 15 minutes I was hooked. This app is a real gem among iOS apps.

Nothing else like it!. Yeah, I could nitpick. I could compare. But I keep coming back to this program because Simplemind works for me, and there is nothing else like it! I LOVE using it to make Org charts that have a middle, a core that radiates rather than just a top down flow.

EXceptionaL. Tried 6 or 7 outline & mapping apps. I found most were not as user friendly, practical or powerful. The ability to quickly create on the fly then reorganize later is unsurpassed. Also most important, this seems to be a stable product. While testing other outliners i suddenly lost data or files would disappear... permanently! Not good. Easy to email, text /share maps with others which makes this a truly flexible, powerful, reliable tool. Could use a little refinement for iCloud use but not much to complain about. Hope they don’t mess up the product in the future!

Keep coming back.. Mind mapping is popular. New mm apps keep coming but SimpleMind out performs them all in the price range. I look and try but keep coming back to SimpleMind. The developers have been diligent in improving their product while keeping the mm workspace uncluttered.

iThoughs and SimpleMind rule!. Having issues with thinking straight and focusing makes these apps indispensable. It’s like a part of my neurology now. How do you thank some one for giving you a part of your brain? I mention iThoughts too because its just as good and because each one has some unique features that the other does not have. Like slideshows on this one (which was is amazing idea I did not even expect or ask for), or the effortless free form layout with the ability to rotate or move branches around for visibility and control. I’d choose this one for creativity and brainstorming, whereas the other one is better for overall knowledge management. This app is soooo good! THANK YOU!

Lost my work. I like the layout and capability of SimpleMind Pro +. It's easy to use and easy to export. The low star rating is for the lost work and multiple issues found. I opened the app today to find my work erased, which is fine because I copied it as an image into other apps. But, for a Pro app, it shouldn't do that. Second issue I have is that for some reason, I can't create a mind map from scratch. I have to open an existing mind map, i.e. Welcome file, then create a new mind map. Without an existing mind map, the square edit sign opens a menu that is grayed out. I'm hoping that deleting the app and reinstalling will fix this. Usually, the edit sign has a menu for a new mind map. Third issue is that moving a mind map file to Apple iCloud forces it to open as a file rather than as an internal mind map. I'm not sure what that means and what the difference is, but limitations occur once that happens. The mind map links no longer work even if I try to map it to other files within the same Apple iCloud folder.

Best in class cross-platform mind mapper. I really appreciate that SimpleMind doesn’t use a subscription model. I feel confident creating mind maps that I’ll be able to edit and view them for as long as I need. I don’t use mind mapping that frequently, so this is crucially important to me.

A one time payment!. In the age of premiums, SimpleMind Pro offers a one time payment. This app does everything I need for a mind mapping app and more! The customization options are pretty much endless and linking things is not locked behind a premium. I want to thank the developers for making this one time payment. It goes to show that you don’t need all that money to make a great product. However, my ONLY COMPLAINT is the UI. It’s not anything fancy but I think if you can master the UI it shouldn’t bother you.

This works!. I’m new to mind mapping… but this is exactly what I needed! I’m a visual spatial thinker and I see the world in patterns (think fractals). I have always had trouble being able to write down my thoughts or ideas in a linear fashion (outline or files) the cross referencing never worked well enough! This is how I think! and at last I have a way to organize my ideas! It takes a bit of time to learn the basics… I’m missing a star because it is sometimes hard to find answers to questions or help topics. Also I wish there were more templates… Or some way to make your own… I don’t think you can use it if you don’t have wifi access… which was disappointing. But overall I love it!

Best brain dump organizer I've ever seen!. I absolutely love this product. It has help me get so many ideas out of my head and expand on what it is I need to do to move these ideas forward. An essential must have tool!

You Should Buy This. I have a only a few issues with it - there’s a bit of a learning curve, and I wish it could export an outline directly to Word. But it is available on multiple platforms, and everything else requires a subscription. You should buy it. We need to support these people to keep this excellent program going.

Very critical User - this App is Great. Have spent hours and hours of trying many mind mapping apps and at last found SimpleMind! Has two qualities that make it the best in its Class .... a) SimpleMind has so many many useful features. b) They work! Pleasure to give it 5 Stars.

Needs more work to be 5 stars. One of the major issues I have with the app so far is the fact that when inserting images in a map, the limit for the full size image cannot be larger than 380 pixels. It looks fine while editing as the pictures take up less screen size, but when opening images to share them or such, it looks terrible. Please fix this so that I can more comfortably organize my work.

Flow is intuitive, saves to Drive as you go.. This doesn't require much thought, do I can focus on what thoughts I'm mapping. Well worth the price for incremental saving and syncing to Drive, so I can continue on my Mac, iPad or iPhone when inspiration strikes. Thank you to the developer team.

Excellent Way To Organize My Thoughts. With MindMap I can develop an overall picture of what I want to do. I get a clear picture of what I need to do in order to complete a project. I can develop my ideas and visually portray my major objectives all the way down to the individual tasks that need to be completed. Keeps me from wasting time erratically jumping from one task to another. Highly recommend MindMap to anyone who needs to organize their thoughts before wasting time on false starts and chasing rabbits.

Excellent. This is an awesome tool. Easy to use and the pro version can be used on different devices. I always have access to my notes/plans from my ipad to phone to computer. This is a big help in keeping account management straight and easy.

OUTSTANDING MINDMAP. I have been using another mindmap app for a couple years. With this update I have switched to this as my main app for mind mapping. The only thing I wish the developer would add is iCloud sync ability. But it works great with Dropbox. Developer contacted me and this issue was cleared up. He showed me how to resolve my concern and it is working great with iCloud Drive now. Thanks for great product.

Excellent. I use this app as an accompaniment to the desktop version and it has most of what I need for mobile use. Modifying templates and structures can be frustrating but it’s probably because I don’t do it often. There’s some additions/enhancements I’d like to see, however: —Add OneDrive as a storage location since many of us are on O365 home and enterprise. —Can we get a simple sort when viewing the map content in hierarchy view? I have a large map and manually alphabetizing the fields can be a real PITA. —Ability to rename custom templates (current it’s stuck at Copy of Pastel) —Enhance in-line documentation to clarify what options modify what, and at what level? Seeing a physical map as a legend with the option name (that I can print) would make it easier to know what I need to change to get my desired results.

Almost great. I love Mind Maps! I’m an Aspie, and details are very important to me. The mobile version of this app is incredible. It’s also the first Mind Mapper I’ve tried so far. There are just a few details to work out. First, it’d be nice if the app would remember my spot whenever I switch back to it. Just the X and Y coords, so it’s orientation independent. Next, it would be nice if, when selecting and moving a branch, it would still snap to the grid. I have to select the branch, move it somewhere imprecise, select the top branch node again by itself, position it perfectly, and then move all the other nodes to match. A couple of the menus up top don’t let me switch to another menu without first closing the menu I originally opened. This is probably only going to be an annoyance while still learning the menus. The last thing, and this is actually kinda big for me, is that the Windows desktop version doesn’t always position the nodes the same way as the iPad version does. So I have to continually tweak it. Images also aren’t rotated, and the grid setting don’t automatically sync (snap to grid, etc.) Anyway, it’s a great tool and I’d much rather have it than not! I consider it indispensable at this time. I only wish I could return the clunky desktop version (should have downloaded the trial first). I’ll be mapping out my thoughts on this and composing a much cleaner review for my blog. Thank you!

Great for World Building. I create a lot of new characters and areas for my DnD campaigns, and mind mapping helps me brainstorm things, update ideas as things are affected by players, create relationship maps, refine character traits: you name it, this app makes it so much easier to do and have everywhere without having to carry a hefty binder.

Apple Pencil support needed. Keyboard/mouse=4 (four) stars : iPad/no keyboard=2 (two) stars. The program is very good. Works cross-platforms. Good cloud support. The reason I stopped using this app and switched to a non-mind-mapping app is because of the lack of Apple Pencil support. If XPT software adds Apple Pencil support within SimpleMind, including a ‘convert to text’ option, it will become my go-to app once more. To be clear, I am trying to use my iPad as my computer and therefore need Apple Pencil support. If you use a keyboard/mouse this app is fantastic with its plethora of visual and other options to make maps ‘pop’.

Just what I needed. Simplemind gives me the ability to write sermons quickly, giving me the ability to get more done in a work week. Mind mapping is the solution for expository preaching. I am able to build a clockwise pattern that my brain remembers. Works well on iPad, iPhone and MacBook Air. My favorite being the iPad.

Please consider adding:. Url schemes addresses for specific nodes and notes. I’d like to be able to reference mindmaps from various notes apps and to do apps then quickly click the link to get to them. Native Siri voice shortcuts as well would be an added bonus.

Where’s the Apple iCloud Drive support?!. This app is an ok app except that it does not have iCloud Drive support. This app has been out for years and the developers have ignored the apple ecosystem. I own the Pro+ version of this app in iOS and the paid in macOS. I understand Support for Dropbox, Google Drive and a Chinese Cloud service for non-sensitive information to share. Pro implies, to me, seamless business class features. I’m not a fan of “work arounds” to use the same file on all my devices. I regret that I missed the elephant in the room by going all in with a developer that can’t meet the grade of Apple’s iCloud Drive.

Indispensable Tool. I utilize mind mapping for presentations for work among other things. Mind mapping allows me to speak naturally without being tied to notes or to an outline. Handwritten mind maps are limited by my limited drawing ability. With SimpleMind+, I am able to embed pictures, add diagrams, and many other things to enhance clarity and quality. I don’t know what I would do without the program. It gives me flexibility to craft, save, and share mind maps. Awesome program!

Expansive but limited. When we edit the blob text, it keeps expanding horizontally. One must stop writing and then grab the little symbol in the lower right corner and drag it back to shape the blob. Very annoying. There is no tiny text note preview so you have to guess or recall what the text box has in it to decide if you want to read it. Annoying. Finally, I don’t see how we can take a map and make it into a visual organizational hierarchy- all we can get is a text outline in the inspector. Daaa. I’d like to use the map to show clear relationships in a hierarchy view and also the ability to show dependence as in organization charts or idea charts by selecting a button that organizes the view instead of having to spend several minutes physically rearranging all of the elements. Very time consuming. Gracias ustedes.

Excellent yet simple. There are a host of mind mapping programs out there, but this is the best balance of power, options, and usability. There a bunch of mind mapping programs out there that are extremely powerful with tones of options, but they don’t seem to synchronize between platforms nearly as well as this one. I use this app/program all the time, sync’ed with my drop box. I use it a lot for mapping out writing projects and speeches. When I am giving a speech the outline function is by far the best. I do wish that their was a way to better integrate Calendar, Reminders, and maybe notes.

Consistent updates, excellent quality. I’ve used this product for several years across multiple platforms. It always works and it always works well. Excellent import and export options make it one of the most productive parts of your planning toolkit.

I tried many, so glad I found this.. All I wanted was a clean, easy, reasonably priced mind mapping app and this is it. So far I haven’t hit a situation where I couldn’t do exactly what I needed to. It’s intuitive, attractive, and comfortable to use. I took me all of 10 seconds to find a color scheme that was easy on my eyes(a big deal for me), and I just started flying though maps without the need to stop and search for tools. Great app, would recommend.

Best mind mapping app in App Store. This is by far the best mind-mapping app I’ve found. It’s a great balance of ease of use and functionality. Also, I love being able to buy the app as a one-time purchase without obligation to enter into a subscription. Initially, I was looking for something more like Visio, something to sketch process flowcharts. This is great for free-form mind mapping, but not quite 100% for the latter (not that it advertises as such). I would love to see some additional shapes and a grid background added. Still, I give this 5/5 as it is now.

Get things done. Some of us are goal driven and some of us are scattered. Write your important goals in the middle and map out what it takes to get there. That is what makes mind mapping great. I used the free tools for years but nothing came close to the ease of this tool so I put it on every device. If you need to work with a team ... mind mapping allows you to see what it takes to get there — then delegate branches and coordinate interaction between groups. It makes cooperative projects possible. Presentations are easy, copy their templates and fill them in for your own projects. It is like having a self-guided tutor. That is why I give it a five.

Most Satisfactory. This intuitive mind-mapping tool supports my creative processes in a way that allows my ideas to bloom organically. The mobile and desktop versions flow seamlessly together, making it super-easy to brainstorm or organize wherever inspiration grabs you. My spouse and I have concluded that SimpleMind Pro is WORTH EVERY PENNY, even when purchasing both mobile and desktop platforms (no subscription fees). All thumbs up for this app - you’ll use it!

Great tool with ample features. I’m relatively new to mind mapping and didn’t want to try the other versions because of either their lack of cross-platform support or subscription model. I tried others before discovering SimpleMind Pro. I purchased this app for macOS,iPadOS, and windows. It works similarly and equally well on each too! I do a lot of our companies technical writing and documentation layout. SimpleMind Pro does everything I need as far as documentation planning and development. I especially appreciate the ability to link map nodes to the actual topic in the document. This linking and color-coding allow me to track progress and needed edits. Thank you to the developers for a great application with a relative easy interface and short learning time!

I love it! But wish I could do organic mind mapping. It works great, it’s easy to add pictures and drawings, and it syncs well. One of the things I really like is that I can buy it rather than pay a subscription! I may be old school but I remember a time when we could buy software rather than rent it. I wish users would boycott apps that require subscriptions. Here is my only problem with it. You can’t do organic mind mapping. Free style is close but it doesn’t allow the words to follow the lines like if you were drawing on pen and paper. Instead it uses the fishbone style. (If you don’t know what I mean see the book “Mind Mapping for Dummies") Imindmap is the only one I can find that does organic mind mapping but they charge a ridiculous price for a subscription. Please update to allow organic mind mapping. Your app is already great but it would be the absolute best if we could do organic mind mapping on it!

Exceptional Writing Composition Tool. Believe it or not, this is a powerful composition tool! You can import whole documents, quotations, etc. You can then add new paragraphs, words or phrases. Then drag and drop to organize the document’s flow. Once you’ve got your document flowing well, you can export as text and then edit in your favorite word processor to create your finished product or rough draft. Amazing! Best digital tool for creating a cohesive, logical flow in a written document that I’ve discovered!

Wow finally!. Within 5 minutes of using this, I knew I’d finally found what I’ve envisioned to be the perfect digital brainstorming app. So intuitive, adaptable, and easy to use. Incredible that so many other developers have greatly missed the mark. This one has not.

Fast and User Friendly. I outline with post it notes, so being able to make notes in bubbles and move them around at will in a lightweight program is a godsend. I do wish there was a match properties function though. If you set up everything at the beginning you’re locked in and have to manually change things one by one if you decide to not use a built in template. You can make your own, but correcting individual chains on the fly is time consuming. Overall great app and I recommend it to everyone.

Don’t buy it here if you tried it. Taking off a star because I used the free version then bought the full version through the App Store. Then I find out I can’t use the maps I made in the free version and it would have saved me $1 to purchase from the free version instead of on AppStore. Great app but buy from them, not here.

weak style tools. the mind mapping features are solid. they enable pretty efficient manipulation of the parts you want to visualize. imo, the visual customization / theme modifying tools are weak and confusing. I think it’s the lack of clear organization of which tools control what. Despite this, I feel that this is a must-have tool

Simplicity at it’s finest. So many developers try so hard to make their apps into an everything app that it just becomes a chaotic complicated mess. This app is a mind map app and it’s excellent. Simple and intuitive. Totally deserves all 5 stars. I would like to suggest that tapping on some of the elements is tedious, but not worth dropping a star for, and they work on the app a lot, so I believe that will be better in the future. I want to make clear that this isn’t even close to being even a small issue. It takes nothing whatsoever away from the app, it’s just a little thing that could be a little better

Best MindMapping Software Around! THANK YOU. I’m a devoted and longtime mindmapper. I use them for everything. For many years, I used MindMeister and loved it. I brought them dozens of customers as well… as I had all my private students and coworkers use it too. Then something changed. Their software stopped working well and their customer service plummeted. Hundreds of maps in, I had to find a replacement. And THANK GOODNESS I found SimpleMind! Sooooooo MUCH BETTER! First of all… no subscription. I’d rather pay big once than monthly. And the cost isn’t even big. Second, it runs locally… using the power of my computer, iPhone, or iPad… rather than running on browser. With all that power, it remains smooth like butter… never glitchy at all. Also, it’s quite powerful. You can do lots to customize your maps and interconnections. Also, maps save in your own personal cloud accounts so they aren’t owned by the company. MindMeister has all my maps and I have to pay a 6 month subscription just to get them. The SimpleMind online tutorials are great and they are always adding new useful features. Once you get used to it, the workflow is intuitive… but since there are so many features, I recommend spending some time in tutorials. Worth the effort. Grateful to the developers. Great job. Lifelong learner’s go to tool. I have a commitment to being a lifelong learner. Because I am a visual learner, I need pictures to breakdown concepts into parts I can understand. SimpleMind is the perfect tool for this. I have on my PC, Mac, iPad and iPhone. Huge fan. I use daily to help me see new relationships and understand how ideas work together. Highly, highly recommend.

5 Star. As this is the Best mind map program around, it gets 5 starts. Some of the desktop features are much easier to use, such as changing colors and editing style. However that being said, it’s as good as I have found for iPad.

Life is Connections. This app is the best at trying to solve the bigger problem you didn’t realize your small problem fed into. I have recommended this app to every MindMapper I know or anyone trying to get their head around the concept and futility of mind mapping. The continuing updates and upgrades are phenomenal along with the share-ability via PDF, image, or sending the app files to a colleague. I love this app!

Simply the best mind-mapping tool, period. Simple Mind Pro is the best mind mapping tool that exists for iPad. Its ease of use is wonderful, its functionality is basic, and its intuitiveness is natural. It’s one of the easiest apps I’ve ever used with my my Apple Pencil. It enables you to create visual representations of complex ideas in a way your mind wants you to see them on paper (and anyone else can follow.) Totally worth the cost and the value over time is incalculable.

Simply the best. I’ve been mindmapping for years, and I went through a ton of methodologies and tools, this tool floated up to the top of my tool box every time I needed a tool for outlining, thought collection, brainstorming, it’s like the cream that always floats to the top of the milk. I recommend it to anyone that will listen.

Well designed application. The app is cross platform. iCloud Drive sync with Windows takes a little time to set up, but works well. The app is performant and has a cohesive feature-set. User interface is efficient. Great job!

Incredibly good mind mapping. I’ve been using mind maps as a way to research things for work for years. The problem has always been the flexibility of the tool. The software I’ve used in the past has been essentially graphical outlining. It worked, and allowed for some rearranging a grouping of content. But it was overall pretty difficult to move branches around. SimpleMind gets it right! Long press on any node, and it highlights all of its subordinate nodes so you can drag and drop the whole thing on another branch. Easily drag out handles to create new nodes or connections between nodes. Wrap nodes in an expandable border. The software has so many excellent, well designed features l can’t list them all here. (No, I have no relationship with the developers. I’m just really this happy to have found this app.) Even better, the software is availble for both iPad and Mac, and they work seamlessly together. Bravo, highly recommended.

If you want the best. I’m an obsessive mind mapper who’s tested out many apps and programs, and SimpleMind Pro is hands-down the best. It does everything I want it to, nothing I don’t, and even their customer support is superb. I recommend to everyone.

UPDATED: Now simply the best mind mapping tool out there. The most versatile, intuitive, AND creates visually pleasing mind maps. I had stopped using it because it lacked Google Drive integration, and by chance decided to check the version history, and lo and behold, they had added Google Drive support a while ago! So now it's 5-stars for me. Finally I can collaborate on mind maps with other people via Google Drive.

Simple Mind to Success. Since buy this very simple app I have produced no less that 20 mind maps that have helped me develop my though process into a useable format, create dialogue for my sales pitch and improve sales. A real winner for people trying to unpack their ideas and get them into the usable sphere.

Really great app. I tried a couple of mind map software (both subscription and online versions) before I found this and I can say hands down this is the best for iPad. I wanted my data saved locally so i could access it whilst travelling and this works perfectly for that. The software has been simple to use and is very well designed for iPad. I’m actually going to buy it for my Mac OS.

Overall the best one. Still a work in progress, yet updated with great new features often. Clean interface and maps. Polished and intuitive. No subscription model which is great. iCloud integration would be welcome for seamless workflow on Mac and iPad.

Exactly what I was looking for!. Trawled through the project planners to build a 1,3,5,10 year life plan and finally found this app. Brilliant.

Great little thought provoked. This app allows you to quickly and logically sort out your thoughts and allows you to make sure you can organise them accordingly. Tries lots of "productivity" tools but this one truly improves your productivity and creativity. Love it

Almost perfect. This is an incredible replacement for iThoughts, and matches or exceeds MindMap from my earlier PC years. Just one irritation is the screen on an iOS device keeps jumping/positioning itself to the centre when you type/edit anything. With lots of edits on an iPad it’s really annoying. This does not occur on the Mac version.

Best Mindmap Software on Computers or Mobile devices!. As a ‘Productivity’ OCD freak I’ve used and tried them all! This is hands down the BEST! Plus you’re not paying a million! It does help to have your own cloud for backups but not needed! You cam save everything locally or in their own clouds. Just having your own means you have total control of how you want it saved! :) Nothing compares to this except for Miro but that’s a different type of purpose. This is the BEST!! Why? It’s the best LOOKING professional DESIGN and it’s the QUICKEST!! And that’s what you want in a MINDMAP!

BUGS - DOES NOT SAVE NOTES WITH IMAGES. Paid version: Added text and information with images in the notes sections and it did not save. Lost a bunch of information that I researched. I can’t remember all the notes so I can’t retrieve any of the work I did. Terrible. Totally unreliable. I paid for this version.

Great mindmap app but. Love the app but without palm recognize feature, it’s super annoying to use with pencil

Great but needs work. Great app, has desktop companion. However needs work. Click on mind map info shows info but one cannot edit this Also no way in map view (info) to move or copy maps to other folders - one can do in file view. Found out can copy branches to other mind maps awesome!! Inspiration has nicer view and automatically sets boxes to maximize view however that is missing a lot of features that simple mind has. Please add easier text and text for template edit, allow text preference for templates, automatic organizing eg around main topic, pyramidal, etc Cannot group anything so moving one thing one has to move everything else. Allow Apple Pencil selection or hand selection to group and move items

Best one. I have bought 3 mind map apps: iThoughtsHD, Popplets, and this one. This is the best by far. Very organized and easy to use.

Great. Syncs nicely and I love the many different styles. A few minor annoyances where I end up with duplicates or I have to go into the Textbox to make 'cloud' smaller. But only on my desktop. Works fine on my iPad. I would recommend these to people & I've tried a couple of Mindmap apps.

Simple mind. Great app. You can attach website links and split idea trees and combine gem from other files. Would be complete if you could attach files/pics.

Great to do list. As a writer I use Simple Mind to brainstorm ideas and I quickly found it is also useful as a to do manager - the ability to move and group items quickly, and color code, makes a terrific visual to do list!

Love this app!. Really helps me organize my thoughts and goals! I use 1 file for work and 1 for home. Then I can start a seperate one for holiday planning or a work project. Very good support team - keep up the good work guys :)

Handy interface, very versatile. My favourite of all the free mind-mapping apps I tried for the first iPad; also cross-platform to Windows and Mac OS X, so I bought the paid version (with extra features)

Almost there. Awesome: - no subscription Bad: - copy paste of the diagram moves things in a bad way - no right click on mouse - cannot move cells or click on them when zoomed out, which is annoying - the + button to add a central theme adds it far away from my current view - syncing with iCloud is clumsy. The app should create a SimpleMind folder in the iCloud directory (not me) with a SimpleMind logo on it. Also, I copy pasted my diagram in my iCloud but the app sees an empty folder, which isn't empty because the File app sees the file... - when I add a link between a cell and another cell, the link by default is an arrow while the default link between parents and child is not arrow, this makes up a mixture of links that are arrows and not arrow, which is inconsistent and I loose time removing the arrows... - there's no button to duplicate a SimpleMind file...

Love it. When I can't get to a white board, this is now my go-to way of taking what is in my head and organizing it. Awesome.

Le meilleur que j'ai utilisé depuis plusieurs années.. Facile, intuitif, plusieurs agencements possibles des Mindmap. Personnellement j'utilise la numérotation automatique pour toutes les notes que je prends. Je l'utilise pour prendre des notes dans toutes les présentations auxquelles j'assiste.

Overall. The only thing to add would be the ability to work on it in real time with others simultaneously. But I need it so bad for me that’s a whole star.

Accessing Your In-depth thoughts. Being able to link A map to another map is a great feature... more examples of how people use mind map please.

The most intuitive Mind Mapping software I have had the joy to experience.. I have seen complex mind mapping software, some are very hard to operate, but this one made me productive within minutes. The interface UX is pleasant and so easy to use. Don't let the easiness fool you; this is a workhorse allowing for complex tasks to be delivered in minutes. Oh how I wish this software was available on other platforms. KUDOS to your designers and developers.

Très bon. Après en avoir essayé d'autres, c'est celle que j'aime le plus. Facile d'utilisation et les cartes peuvent être très détaillées. Beaucoup de possibilités pour créer des cartes à mon goût. Elle permet de clarifier les idées et de présenter de bons tableaux. J'aurais aimé pouvoir imprimer ou envoyer les notes (texte) mais il semble que cela ne soit pas possible. En tout cas, je n'ai pas trouvé.

Love it!. For people who are visually oriented, mind mapping can’t be beat as a way to organize information. Simple Mind does it well, with a beautiful interface. You can’t do visual organizing, if the medium isn’t visually engaging.

I love it.. This is exactly what I was looking for. I’m currently using it on my IPad Pro and it’s simple, clear, EASY, and so incredibly helpful for my writing. I can sit and watch a movie while I plot out chapters and organize my thoughts. Love it.

Not for adhd people. First off you open the app and it’s just the mind map with no tutorial or anything, it’s a confusing app, so I’ve opted for a refund because I’ve already deleted the app and won’t be using it. If you have adhd this is not for you.

What I Like.. Regular Updates. iOS, iPadOS, and MacOS integration. No annoying Subscription. Brainstorming feature to quickly input ideas without structure is super handy.

SimpleMind. I gave 1 star for a reason. It is not doing what’s advertising and because of the limitation of the app. This is actually a bastardized copy cat of iThought. IThoughts is the deal for the money’s worth. It cost a little more, but it is well worth it.

THE best of them ALL. Easy enough for a beginner but enough zing, zang and bells for the most diehard mindmapper. Did I mention how reasonably priced it was?

Data loss 😭😡. Had it in the iPad Pro , worked great, made mind maps. I downloaded the app on my iPhone, then the app deleted all my cloud mind maps. Now I have to remake the maps, which I will have to do on another app. Devs, when syncing a cloud folder, err to the side of not deleting the data when there is a mismatch between devices, come on.

Outstanding Functionality!. Honestly, I wonder about people at times (referring to the negative reviews here). I don't think people read before they get all emotional. I'm using the Simplemind Pro version on iPad and iPhone, and synchronization via Dropbox is completely seamless and rock solid. I don't use the desktop version yet but I will likely acquire it. That said, I've been using mind maps since the mid 2000's. I have found Simplemind Pro for IOS to be totally intuitive, simple to use (I didn't even read the instructions and it still makes sense), and extremely feature rich. Each incremental upgrade just gets better and better! I created my first Mindmap in about ten minutes and had a completed org chart with six branches on it and about 40 names. This is a seriously impressive app! Thanks to the developers for creating such a useful business tool!

Best Mind Mapping App I’ve Used. Effective layouts, customizable to meet my needs, decent user interface, SimpleMind is the best mind mapping app I’ve used.

Long time bug infestation. There are multiple bugs that have not been resolved. The most damaging is the sync bug, I’ll work on iPad at home then when I need the info when at work it is not on my iPhone.

Not OneDrive Compatible. As a student, OneDrive gives us free space to back up documents. It’d be nice to be able to do that with app! Please add!

Ease of use. Just bought this program and found it very easy to use. Still learning all of the features but I don’t anticipate any issues in the future.

Best but no iCloud support?. This is the best and easiest to use tool until you want share your work across devices. No iCloud support? Ridiculous.

Wonderful. Intuitive, simple, engaging. I used to take notes and create outlines the conventional way, but this is a much more creative and stimulating way to generate ideas and keep track of things.

Multiple Uses. I'm in sales and I cant say enough about this app. I use it for keeping track of my customers family members, brainstorming sales ideas, breaking down products and their benefits to better understand them, ect., ect. I love this app. And it has a ton of awesome features. You can really differentiate within the map itself to set apart ideas or make some stand out above others. This is the best app iv purchased hands down. I have the paid for version and would pay much more. ONE THING tho, and I'm still learning this app so maybe its already possible. I wish there a way so that both when my Ipad(where I typically use this app) and Iphone were connected to WiFi the latest files on my Ipad would automatically download to my Iphone instead of manually having to do it thru dropbox.

Feature rich but needs some improvement in organization and exporting. This app is one of my favorites but it has a few limitations that have made it harder for me to use it regularly. The first limitation is that it’s very difficult to create large mind maps with it without creating a mess. I decided to use it to summarize some important points from a textbook and this just led to a disorganized looking mind map. I tried to move the bubbles around but the problem is that it’s not possible to move the bubbles when zoomed out. I tried the multiple selection mode as well but I still cannot move the bubbles when zoomed out. If I try to select them in zoomed in mode and then zoom out, it automatically deselects the bubbles that I had selected. This makes it a lot harder to manually organize the mind map because I cannot see what I’m doing if I have to be zoomed in just so I can move things around. I think there needs to be a way to organize the bubbles in zoomed out mode. Also, I think there should be an option for the bubbles to be automatically organized. For example, if I add a new bubble or I move one of the bubbles in a different location, everything else should be automatically nudged so that there’s no overlapping. Fixing these little issues, would make organization much easier and less frustrating. The second limitation that I encountered in this app is the exporting options. There’s no way to export the outlines into a .doc or .pages file, in order to maintain text formatting and also be able to edit the file. I tried exporting as a .txt file but that doesn’t hold any formatting, so it’s hard to read. I would have to go through the whole thing myself in order to bold and italicize some of the text in order to make it easier to read. The other option was to export the outline as a PDF. This was ok, but not ideal because everything was exported in bold letters. Since the formatting is all the same, it’s hard to tell which are the bigger topics and what topics fall underneath them, and where one topic separates from another. I think that this mind mapping app is a good starting point for recording ideas but it is also important that I can export those ideas in order to make further use of them.

Major tool!. I am an outliner. Helps to keep my mind in line. SimpleMind adds a visual aspect to this organization. I love it and have for years.

I need to connect to OneDrive business. The software works great, however when I connect to OneDrive Business, the software reports an error and cannot connect. Please fix it asap!

Excellent & Best Mind Map. I’ve tried many. This by far is the best of them. Suggestions for the developers: 1. please change the default color for the first branch. I hate that orange-red. 2. It would be AWESOME if you can support Apple Pencil so that I can either draw the map and notes or at least allow users to “write” the point in the bubble/ branch! Thanks!

Very Short Learning Curve, Easy Manipulation. I spent about $60 in a few days trying out mind mapping/ project layout iPhone/ iPad/ Mac software, and SimpleMind quickly rose to the top of the heap. I like it so much that I've purchased the desktop version so I can spread out the maps and print them more easily for projects. I've done 5 project maps without really looking at the instructions, so I know I can use it without being frustrated. (I can do what I need, without being blocked by an arcane interface). As I use it, I've incorporated more of the features, which are designed to be both productive and "pretty" (nice graphics design). This is a really successful design. Very Good Job!

iPad Pro crashes. Love the functionality of the app. Constantly crashes and you lose the last 2 or 3 things you added which has to be redone. Just wish it would not crash.

Don. Excellent App. It does everything I need except for providing layers. Can this be done. I have largely abandoned smartdraw and Visio because I only require mind mapping utilities found in simple mind.
