Good but fix. No audio on gameplay. More challenging would be more realistic.

eh Promising but not there yet. Great graphics. great user experience. Downfalls: Sometimes it crashes when I open it. The tracks are somewhat repetitive and upon completion of the track, there is no advancement. In other words, one could get bored with this game very quickly. In essence, it looks great but lacks spark. I would sacrifice some graphics for a product that can hold my attention longer.

Please update. Please update to better graphics because the iPhone or iPod touch racing games have better graphics than this, for the Camera angle their should be in truck angle so you see from inside the truck the engine sounds should be a little better, allso would be cool for the price you are paying for it their should be a way to put your own trucks together also it crashes a lot to

The best. Im sorry but this game beats any other racing game on the iPad, the only thing I do not like is the widescreen view it would be a lot nicer if it fit the full iPad screen :( But it's defiantly worth 10$ I'd pay more

No challenge. I agree, this game basically plays itself..no challenge. Period. End of review. Might as well go watch the cars on the freeway...graphics are great, but who cares when you can be first in every race...I even won after I scratched my eyes out...

Good game but needs an update. The game is fun and addicting but it needs some things. 1. All of the trucks look like Chevys.... make some that look like Fords! 2. It would be nice if you could make your own truck. 3. The handling is way too easy. Please make these changes!

Awsome!!!! Racing HD on roids. As a racing freak I do have them all, well all the iPad versions at least, next to HD racing this is the best. Basically an off road version of the pre-mentioned with great controls and steering and AWSOME graphics!! This is a great racing game and if you are looking at it stop and buy you won't regret this purchase. Well i have some more racing to do.

too easy. No challenge no matter what you do you cannot crash or loose control. Great graphics for the iPad but sometimes that is not enough.

Easy or fun?. Maybe both. As someone who doesn't have hours a day to play games, it's way fun. I've tried so many racing games that I hated because I'd have to spend hours, days, weeks getting decent at. No fun. This, OTOH, is a blast. I can pick it up, play, and enjoy it for five minutes or 20 minutes in between other things. If you want a "realistic SIM" I guess it might not measure up to those. But if you want a fun, quality, well-done game, buy it!

Good game. In ur next upgrade u should really make the trophy light roll in races and costmize ur on truck please that would be great

Could be better in the most obvious ways!. No doubt the graphics are crystal, but that comes standard with 2xL. Infact I really want to rate the game 3 stars because that's all this is, a really beautiful game. But as is every single one of their games, but void of any animated environment,(there is more dust and particle effects in real racing) and that isn't even off road racing) theres no pack racing( it's rare that you ever battle it out for position, and when you do it's only with one single racer at a time) (they'll never be three of you taking the corner at one time) though it does get more difficult as you progress, it doesn't make up for the high intensity dust and mud On your windshield, so much that you can barely see while you take a hard right turn gameplay, that you would expect from even your typical off road racer of even last gen (playstation 1&2 gamecube, xbox) more less a game that has the beauty graphics wise, and the physics of current gen gameplay( late ps2, early ps3 ect) bottom-line if you loved 2xL's previous games you'll probably love this one even more, if you thought that their past games lacked everything challenge wise, but looked beautiful, then that's exactly what this is. Don't get me wrong it's a great display of what the potential of the iPad can pump out graphics wise, but that's not telling me anything I don't know. And I'm not asking for lazier beams coming out of the hood or for the trucks to do triple flips and table tops every time it gets air. But simple things like when I run over mud, it would be nice if mud actually went in my screen, when I'm directly behind another truck on a dirt road, more less feet away, maybe there should be more dirt than the speckle of dust that you can barley see, that you try to portray as a real off road experience, and of the past 5-6 or so games you have released, none of them have yet to give the element of any real challenge or competition that didn't take more than a second go around to beat, just to have tighter racers with maybe 3or even 4 vehicles on screen at one time would be a real treat. I'm not, not recommending this game, but I'm just warning you it's nothing in the slightest off a motor storm esq challenge, it's your typical wow look at how good the grfx , and how real the engine sounds 2xL game.

Randy. Tracks are great, need some arena or tracks that are in a stadium. Seeing vehicle damage would improve how real game is.

Just okay, needs work. I was really waiting for an off road racer for the iPad, but this racer could use a lil work, graphics ok, sound ok, but crashes way too often, I don't see how this game made it pass Apple it crashes so much. Also the game physics seem to be a lil off, vehicles need a bit more bounce when landing from a jump & such. Last thing is whenever you go off the road the game just kinda throw you back on the track, I guess that'll fit in game physics huh?, oh well, ok job anyway, looking forward to update real soon.

Best game ever!. I'm a off road freak also from dirtbikes to trophy trucks. Lately I haven't been able to do this because of the economy well this game makes me feel like I'm back out there again hahaha This game is awesome only thing is I wish you could stop at pits in race mode for like gas or tires that would be awesome! And it would be cool to like pause the game and take a picture of the car say while in the air and not using screenshot but hey it's still a awesome game!!!!:)

jUNK!!!!!. This ap is a piece of junk!!!!! Crashes constantly. You have to watch the entire opening video with no way to skip it, then half the time it crashes as soon as the video is done!!!! Have not been able to play it for more than one minute before it crashes!!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!!

Good off road game, but it's too easy!. First the good: Graphics are great. Controls are very responsive and its fun sliding around corners. I love the baja trucks and the tracks are great. I especially enjoy the jumps. However, it is too easy though. The handling/physics are good, but too forgiving. The trucks slide easily as they should, but you can almost take any corner at full speed, which isn't very realistic. You dont even need to use the brakes, which makes it too easy. They need to make it like Dirt 2, so that if you take a corner too fast, you'll slide off the road. It could also use more challenging tracks where you actually need to use the brakes. Something to make it more challenging. Would be great to have a head-to-head racing as well, where all the trucks race together at the same time. It also really needs ghost cars added to the time trial mode where you race against your own ghosts to improve your times.

Fun in the dirt - a good buy!. The graphics of this game on my Ipad are really great. Controls......steering, gas and brakes....are very easy to master and has many layout options to choose from. The drawback is the game is almost too easy. I am an older player so I do love that it is easy to master the driving. I just wish they would have added difficulty by allowing the driver to crash his/her truck or sustain damage that maybe hindered you in some way if you crashed. This would add to the difficulty and add more fun in my oppinion. Don't get me wrong, I love this driving game. I just feel they could have hit a homerun so to speak if they added the ability to crash........4 stars until they do. Don't hesitate to buy this game though, it is still worth every penny!

Fun but.... Great graphics, fun game play, though a bit too easy. My biggest issue is that I no longer have audio during the races at all since the most recent app update! No settings have been changed from default, so I'm a little annoyed. I hope that they address this issue soon.

Excellent Graphics But No Challenge. Some of the best graphics I have seen on the iPad. Like other reviewers have stated, all of the tracks are the same, just a little tougher in the later rounds but still not challenging enough. Worth the $8 but don't expect anymore out of it. If this is a glimpse of where iPad gaming is going, we are all in for a treat!

Desert racing. I bought this game thinking it would be really cool because my dad was in the Baja 1000 and I thought it would be a little more like the 1000 where you can drive down city streets and have more off-roading then just driving on a track it is a good game but I think you should do those and I'd be better and also you should add some more trophy trucks in different off-road ing classes. You should also add some real life desert racing trucks like some of the higher class trophy truck racers. If you do that this game will be awesome

Unfortunate. The game, when it works, is fun with good graphics and controls. Unfortunately, it crashes after the 3rd race in the career and doesn't save so I have to just keep racing this same race over and over again without making any progress even though I am coming in first place. A lot of potential if it wouldn't crash.

Way to easy!. No challenge at all. It's like watching someone else playing perfect race game for you... In every level tracks are the same, over and over again...

Ok. Needs more tracks that will make a lot better and more worth buying. To easy to control. Make it easier to spinout. That will make it more realistic and a lot funner.

Fun but.... I don't know if this happens to other people but at random points in racing my truck will just stop. I don't know why it is doing this but if you could update and fix this it would be great, and I would give it 5 stars.

Gorgeous game. Looks and plays really great. Hope they'll consider doing car rally racing as well at some point. To me, this is the best racing game on the iPad. Great job 2XL!

Wow! Stunning!. I thought the iPod version was cool, but this HD version running on my iPad takes the cake. Beautiful flowing graphics and fun, realistic handling. For being just an oversized phone, I'm surprised they were able to pull off this kind of quality at this resolution. Nice work 2XL Games! Puts Real Racing in it place handily. This game is a showcase for the iPad to demo your friends! Also discovered you can disable steering assist, making it more challenging.

Playable now after crash update. This game looks like it might be fun, but I can't say because I haven't played it yet because it crashes before I can play. I don't give out 1 stars regularly, but seeing how the game is unplayable it should probably be zero stars until an update fixes the crash. Wasted $10 until they fix it - still waiting for a crash fix so I can play. It's been a few weeks and no word yet. - alright an they released the crash fix update and I played the game. It's pretty good. I like the camera roll action when turning, and the graphics look good. I would like to see a view from inside the cab and the addition of damage when crashing. All in all it's fun.

Worth every penny. Starts easy but doesn't stay that way for long. Graphics are great and the control options are perfect. For 10 bucks this beats most ds and psp games that cost much more. Totally awesome for the iPad. Thanks 2xl. As good as real racing but off road.

I dont want to set up an account!. Why am i being required to set up an acct with my email & date of birth just to play this game? Its not that great of a game that i'd want to race with someone online.

Has lots of weird bugs/glitches!!!. Well, while starting up the game the video will not play no matter what, after that the whole game runs with black bars at the top and bottom of the screen. Then there is music at the menu, but absolutely no sound while racing. The graphics are good. This game has potential, just FIX THE PROBLEMS!!!

I love it. Excellent gameplay and graphics! My only wish is multiplayer online feature (like Raging Thunder 1/2), playing this game against a friend over the internet would be awesome!

Great game. This is a great game, it did crash at first when I opened it, but after a restart it hasn't crashed again. My guess is that everyone that rated it 1 star for crashing have not restarted their iPad.

Too much fun!. The physics and graphics are top notch, although some may feel the challenge is not there, the vehicles respond like the real thing. Forget the competition and try this one out!

Great. Pretty Dam good. Don't no why all the haters.? Would be better with like when you go thru the mud and puddles water and mud should fly up on the windshield and wipers to clean off. Also different views like inside view of dashboard not just hood and also outside view so we can see the car slide around corners. Great graphics and Great car sounds but needs to be louder and lower voice on turns or turn voice off and have just car sound. Great start tho starts of slow but get pretty fast as you go. I like it it's a keeper. Well worth a buck. thanks.

Major update & bug fixes needed!!!. It is a promising game, but it needs to be fixed and polished and upgraded.

Off Road Fun. I have over 25 racing games on my iPad and this is a Top 5 game for me, and the best off road one. 2XL also has several great motorcycle and ATV games. I own all of them except the Ricky Carmichael one, because it has in-app coin purchases and I don't support games that try to nickel and dime you for more money after you paid for a game. Fix that game and I'll gladly buy it 2XL. Either make it free with IAP, or leave it paid and get rid of the IAP crap.

Just a black screen. I was excited to see an update today, hoping they had finally addressed the black screen after many months. Nope, I still just get a black screen after the image screen, where the video is supposed to start. It used to work great on this iPad Pro 11,” but not for a long time. Please fix, I really want to play this again.

Fantastic. I love this game, great graphics, lovely to use. I don't find it easy, I find it satisfying to actually complete a circuit. Maybe they can make it harder as an option for those that complain, but as entertainment it's just five star.

Lots of fun!. Surprised at the low ratings. I think the app has truly great off road Rally racing! I've been looking for an enjoyable Rally racing app and this app delivers. The graphics, steering control and handling of the trucks are top-notch. This game is not a sim and, thankfully, gameplay is not about crashing into other cars and driving off the track. If you like off-road rally racing, this game is for you.

Another 2XL classic. I love all things off road so it would be hard to disappoint me. This game is fun. Great graphics. Not as good as the SX game but still a very good game.

Love it. It's a lot of fun. Tons of tracks. Tons of cars. Racing over wifi is great. Needs a little more challenge at times, that way a mistake can be made easier for passing. I think manual shifting would do that perfect (for those who want it). I couldn't find how to do that. Also. Why is it not on game center? I think that would top it off!

Great game. This game is awesome fun and has great graphics. Although there is loads of improvement that could be added to make this game insane eg. Being able to purchase each buggy, adding sand rail buggys, purchase upgrades like tires, acceleration, turbo, weight etc, visual upgrades like vinyl stickers, paint job, head lamps (spot lights) etc. would be cool if it could be made a little more realistic where you can roll the buggy going over mounds and if the buggy got damage from hitting things. Overall a great game if a few of these things were added the game would jump from a four out of five to a eight out of five.

Great app. This is great, scenery and noises are all top notch, in car experience is fantastic, only slight hickup was 3rd person view was a bit clunky in terms of car appearance. Please enhance 3rd person view and the car graphics so that suspension looks more realistic etc. That aside, fantastic game. 95% win and well worth the cash!

Bad rating. I paid $0.99 for this game which was advertised to be a universal app that works on all devices. It doesn't work on iPad mini, it doesn't even fit the screen! I notice there are no refund options when you don't get what you pay for so looks like they got me and my 99 cents! MY ADVICE DON'T BY A THING FROM THEM IT IS TOO DODGY. 2xl games should contact me with my refund or I will by nothing from them again and will keep letting people know how I got ripped off

Great graphics Not so great playing experience. the good: Graphics are well done. A+ the bad: If you can keep your finger on the gas and turn in the right direction, you cannot lose. No need to break, heck even if you go off track, trees and cactuses won't stop you + the invisible wall (surface limit) will bring you back to the track. Trust me, after a few stages, you will realize that there is no challenge in this game and boredom sinks in very fast... What a shame, with such cool graphics to have such tasteless experience... I suggest a pass on this one.

Pretty good rally game. For the price it's pretty decent, the graphics are good the game seems fun thus far from playing with the game for a bit, one thing tho I'd like to see is that the controls be changed in where the gas and brake are placed, I personally would like to see one on one side of the screen on the other on the other side In all I would recommend this app if your looking for good racing game

I DON'T UNDERSTAND! PLEASE HELP ME!. I've being playing this game for hours now, and I still don't understand what I'm supposed to do. Here's some questions I have. If YOU know the answers to any of these questions, please write a review for this game and tell me! I'll be looking out for the answers! 1) What on earth is the orange bar at the top of the screen? I understand that the checks in the bar are the checkpoints, and that the triangle is my car, but what is the orange bar that keeps moving for? 2) How do I win a race? Do I beet all the cars on the road, or do I beet the orange line? I've acutlly won races on here even though there was a car in front of me!!!! Is that because I'm so good that I'm a full lap ahead? 3) Why is it that when I start a race, there is only 1 car in front of me, but later on, after I pass that 1 car, there are more cars on the road? Where did they come from? So far, this game has nice graphics, but it doesn't make any since to me! Please, if you know the answers to any of these questions, please write a review for the game and post the answers! Thank you!!!

Great graphics, but repetitive. I'm a huge fan of 2XL ATV on the iPhone and just bought this app for my iPad. The graphics are great and gameplay is smooth. However, there is nothing that sets any of the tracks apart; they all feel exactly the same after a few races. I'd love to see some more difficult and varied races, requiring more to win than just flooring it the whole time. As beautiful and impressive as this game looks, it just seems to lose it's excitement after a few races. Please continue to update the app to give the user more reason to keep playing and different feeling courses to unlock.

Too simple and boring. Like most 2XL games, they missed the mark once again. This game is so easy, it is downright boring. I take first place in every race, and now half-way through semi-pro, I question what the challenge of this game is. Seems like I start out in first place, and am ALWAYS in first place. It's hard to crash (and thus there's no way to cause damage to your truck), and there's just nothing to do but turn and keep your finger on the gas. If you do hit an object (wall, sign, etc.) your truck just bounces off it and keeps heading down the track. It's like you don't even need to steer. It's crazy boring -- a 2 year old could play this game. The graphics are decent enough. Nothing that incredible for the iPad. The truck's pixels don't look very good... some of the backgrounds are nice and the tracks as well. But I'm being nice there. It's nothing to write home about. But what's the challenge in this game, I ask? Is it just to look at nice tracks while you drive half asleep? There's two things you do in this game: 1) Press on the gas and 2) steer. That's it folks! There is no going off the course, there are no ways to pimp out your truck, there's no 'boost', no tricks, or anything else! It's a slumber party. And there's no music to keep you awake. The on-screen controls are horrid. There are 'magical' secret spots that you tap to do certain things but you have to guess at what they do. Under "Options" I would expect to see a way to turn off the voice turn instructions, but there's not. The Help page is awful--it looks like they just imported a badly formatted text file and said "looks good enough". It's difficult to scroll and read. Very little effort has been put into this game. Even in Arcade mode it's boring. I don't get it, 2XL. Stop it with the garbage games... please. I think I put more effort into writing this review than they put into developing this game. Ok, maybe not--but you get my point. Don't bother buying this game until they 2.0 it and make it something challenging and fun.
