Almost everything I needed. I am frequently adding up receipts for home parties. I am always adding twice to check my figures. Your app is just the basics and just what I need to SEE that I typed in the right numbers but I did have to use a different calculator to figure tax and percentage calculations. It would be nice if multipication was on this calculator. I like being able to check my figures.

Almost great. Just what I wanted, except that the numbers on the keys are dark blue on black and very hard to read. The screen images in the listing show them as white, which would be much better. There doesn’t seem to be any way to change settings or even any info or help button.

Almost Perfect. I've used 10-key adding machines for about forty years. For simple adding and subtraction, I work by touch. That's not really possible with this app because the "keys" are too small. Please consider using larger keys. Switch to the current size when the screen space is needed for other things, like editing the tape. Seriously, why waste the space? Remember, some of us paid about $12 per square inch for our iPads. Otherwise, this app is perfect. I especially appreciate that it uses adding machine syntax. By that I mean the plus and minus operand is entered *after* the number. For accountants and bookkeepers, this is important. The editable "tape" seems well thought out. I haven't used it yet, but it appears to be something I'll fall in love with. Lots of useful options...the key sounds are varied and sufficient. Decimal options mimic the real thing. Bottom line, if you are accustomed to office style adding machines, you'll appreciate this app. Worth it's price and then some

Where are the instructions. I just purchase this adding machine app n it only provides the keyboard no instructions on how to use app

Adding Machine. I don’t even remember how many years I’ve had this, it’s been over four years that much I can tell you much longer. I love this machine are use it for everything the only thing I’ve never figured out how to print it out yet but that’s OK. I use it for every household mathematics and I need grocery shopping to doctor bills whatever thank you very much for making this.

Excellent. I was so happy to find an app which works like an adding machine rather than a calculator. The tape feature is a definite bonus. I highly recommend.

Just what I needed. I spent years in accounting using the adding tape calculator. I loved that I could review my entries. This app does the same for quick calculations. I definitely recommend it!

Love it.. Great if what you want is a calculator that has a running "tape" and it's even more. Scroll thru a calculation with many entries to check before totaling and many other unique abilities. Save and email features for tapes really makes for a great tool. Very configurable, very complete. I actually loved the original big purple icon and would love to have it back. I appreciate the effort but the original stood out clearly.

Perfect. If you need a calculator with tape, with memory and the ability to edit and save tapes, search no further. Of course it does all the calculator functions beautifully, but with the added features I'm able to do accounting without fear of the errant entry! Well done and well worth more.

Not worth $2.99. I purchased this app because it has a tape to see numbers and this is great but I use a lot of percentage calculations, sadly I realized it didn’t have it, I contacted the creator of this app and he just blowed me off “yes, I’m sorry this does not work for you” but he offered no money back. This is so common to get garbage apps and you can’t request your money back

Figures. If this truly worked as an adding machine you could fix your decimal point where you want.

Excellent. Very clean interface. Gives u different choices for visual look of keys. Good instructions added in the info section. I need a calculator with a tape function and this fits the bill. Developer updated app which is another reason I picked this. Apple keeps updating its system so many developers let their Apps lapse. Pleading keep this app current!!! Thanks. Highly recommend

Great App. This is exactly what I was looking for, primarily for the purpose of reconciling my checkbook. Works just like a traditional adding machine (not a calculator), is simple, & self-explanatory. Great app!

Perfect calculator. This is just like having a calculator with tape record. Perfect for simple jobs like bank reconciliation. Check book calculations, etc.

Needs larger keys. This is a good app...I really like it but it definitely needs the ability to have larger keys! Switching for the extra screen space is good if necessary, but mostly I feel this app would be benefited by the ability to have larger keys.

Stopped working with iOS upgrade. Was a good app until the iOS upgrade, now it will not load at all.

Very Useful!. Just what I've been needing to include with my other calculator purchases. This clearly keeps a nice record of any calculation sequence which can then be named and saved for future reference. In addition the author updates the App frequently rather than abandoning it like so many other developers.

Needs /. x. * % functions. What happened to multiplication, division, percent and memory add keys? When do you plan to program those functions into your product? With these functions included this program would be very functional. Doug

Great tool. This is a great tool. Do have 1 recommendation, replace the undo function which clears the last entry the same as the CE function with a back arrow to clear individual digits. Then, in my mine, this would be a 5-Star product.

Must have calculator. The big difference in old fashion desk calculators and their smartphone replacements is the ability to look at a tape and correct typos / missed entries. With the iPhone std calculator you basically need to start over when you make a mistake or forget what you have entered. This well made app does what every calculator app should do, it lets you see what you have done and fix individual entries. It will be your calculator of choice for day to day adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing, using other calcs for memory/advanced math only. Everyone needs this or a similar app.

Fantastic. Pro: It does everything it said it would. Very easy to see what you have done. Also, it was very user friendly when it came to setting it up to meet my needs. I highly recommend this app. Con: I hate the new updated picture. It looks so tacky. The orgional look was best, so please bring it back.

Exactly What I Wanted. Absolutely the best. Just what I was looking for to use for calculations, balancing checkbook, etc.

Nice but .... It works fine, but buttons are too small for touch only entry; but on the iPhone that would be difficult even in landscape mode. But what I really was looking and paid for was the sounds of an authentic adding machine. The sounds for this app are poor.

Missing functions. Nice simple tape calculator....perfect except for the multiplication and division at the least. Please change this and add these funtions and I will change my rating for sure!

Handy. The app works well, user friendly and generally easy to use. Nice to see running tape. Not sure if it was intended to work in Landscape mode or not but it does not on my 3GS. Previous version lacked multiplication & division, latest has it ... Programmer even notified me when App was updated via a direct email. Great App! :-)

Have been looking for something like this. Great little calculator for simple math and being able to check your input numbers. Like being able to save and send calculations tape. Number pad plenty big on a Xs.

Would give this 5 stars if I could read the numbers on the keypad. Useless unless there is an option to change the colour of the letters and numbers on the keypad. Under IOS13 both on the iPad and iPhone the numbers and letters are a faded blue/purple on a black background. If that changed I would give it 5 stars.

Calc with tape. Great app with both simple calc and scientific calc. The tape helps keep track of the entry of multiple entry calculations

Export to email doesn't work. I spent the money for the upgrade so I could email out from this app but it did not work. Emailed developer but go no response

Export and save functions don’t work -. Trying to export and save freezes the screen and exporting as text sends code - feel suckered that I paid for this app. 😡
