Counter-intuitive. Tried this and if it had been at all user friendly, I would have purchased the upgrade. Unfortunately it was a nightmare to use so I removed it from my iPhone. I will look for something that works and so should you.

Excellent!!!!!. This app is terrific I use it constantly to do bills ,& budget finances. So convenient just to keep track of everything even when just shopping :)

Annoying moving ads. Thanks for the useful free ad but I’m moving on. I can’t tolerate those constantly moving ads. Too distracting.

Love this app!!!. I can hear when adding information. I can see if my ## are correct.

Makes mail crash. I liked the app until I was toggling back and forth to add some numbers to put in an e-mail I was preparing. When I returned to my mail app, my draft, and all the work I had done on it was gone. Very frustrating glitch.

How do I turn off the sound?. This app is absolutely excellent and I tried three other calculator-with-tape options first. Only issue I have is I can't figure out how to disable the sounds. I see a "sound" icon in the help section screen grabs but can't find it in my version.

No way to restore purchase. How do I restore my purchase of no ads?

Works like an old Heward Packard calculator. Remember the old Heward Packard calculators that were black and gold and you had to hit the + and - sign the opposite way most people think? that's how this works. I believe it's how math is done in Europe it any rate I'm too old to rethink how to add and subtract delete

Incredible!. Even the free version works as advertised! Didn't try pro version, but it should be as good. Very useful, EX for adding/subtracting & having a record!

Awesome App!. I'm a truck driver and sometimes I pick anywhere from 1000 to 2000 packages on roughly 26 to 30 skids at one stop. This app is especially useful for me because I need to know both piece count and skid count. Performs *EXACTLY* as described. Thank you for writing this app. It makes me more productive at work which of course makes the boss happy! :)

Great app for doing budget. This is a great when you need to keep track of entries.

Calculator review. Works great. Well worth the small fee. Simple to use. Asked customer support a question and the responded ASAP on a Sunday. If you need a easy to use adding machine this will do the trick Get the paid version it's better then the freebie and so cheep a $2

Not working. When I try to subtract one number from another I get a negative number. Doesn’t subtract properly

Promising, but useless without # editing!. I was SOO hoping for a real adding machine app -- like the old 10keyTape from the old OS9 days. This app is promising, but currently entirely useless to me until it allows full editing of a mis-keyed number. So I give it a 1 star... I'll give it a 5 star if the developer adds this much needed function.

Great for everyday use. Great app! Needed an app that was easy to use, so I could keep a running balance of the family checking account. Surprised it kept the balance even when the iPad was turned off. Don't like that it makes a noise every time you touch a number like a regular adding machine.

Where’s the X and division as shown in the photo??. I used to have this and it did +, —, X, and division with tape! Where did it go and why does it show all of these in the photo then not have anything on the app when you open it except + and — ?

Seriously? No multiply or divide?. I realize this is the free version, but being able to multiply and divide is so basic that a calculator that can't is effectively broken. Downloaded, tried it, and deleted it immediately.

Great app exactly what I was looking for!. This is perfect for what I need. It keeps the history just as I wanted. Only one small pain. Sometimes the total gets hidden and I have to scroll down to see it after I hit the total button. Fix that and five full stars.

App is dead. Just loaded iOS 14.2 and app won’t load. Anyone have a fix for this? Love the app. Edit. Delegated app then reinstalled and it’s back on action!

The Pro features are imaginary.. Paid my money for the Pro features but they never showed up. I thought maybe the transaction didn’t go through. But I was told I had already paid when I tried a second time. Tried to restore purchase. Nada. Tried reinstalling. Nada. DO NOT BUY!

Excellent Scrabble Scoring app. With each person keeping their own score on each of their cell phones during play, you'll find a much more efficient and cooler way of scoring. Very 21st-century. And it sure beats what should be the considered the "old way" i.e. the more tedious pen and paper.

It's pretty good but needs a multiplication function. I like it, but after you add things up say you want to calculate sales tax (6%) you would multiply by 1.06 but with this you can't. So they should add a multiplication and division function to make it perfect.

Ad ridden. This use to be my go to calculator app. Recently, it started showing ads on the top of the screen including spinning numbers which is annoying. It is also showing ads for apps I have already bought which make it become all SPAM. I’m deleting the app and getting another one.

Sales. I work in outside sales and love the fact that I can look back and see that I have not missed the cost of additional items

Updates to the Adding Tape App. I am a little annoyed that I have had Adding Tape 1 the paid version for a long while. Now that you have Adding Tape II it is asking that I purchase the pro version to avoid the ads. I feel that it should have automatically updated me without the ads since I’ve already paid for version 1.

Doesn't all add up. This is a great app and it is quite useful (and loud), but on my iPhone 5, it keeps crashing, so buyer beware! This does get annoying.

Missing features. Needs a % key and currency calculator that isn't available in the upgrade either.

Replacing 1977 adding machine. As I was doing my taxes, my dog sent my nearly antique adding machine tumbling. It broke. I decided to try this app because I like having a record on a ticker tape. Tada. I upgraded and got just what I wanted. I was prompted to buy a new printer to use eprint. It is working for me. ... Right down to the sound effects!

Useful. My adding machine ran out of ink so I tried this app. It is very helpful for my home bookkeeping. Easy to use and nice large numbers in my iPad.

It's like the iPhone calc only better. I really like this app. It's intuitive, easy to use and has a lot of great features that help when working with strings of numbers. Save tapes, recall tapes and edit them (I just found that feature and love it! Saved me about 15 mins right there) I tried it. Liked it. Bought it. Nicely done. Well thought out design.

Doesn't work. I downloaded this and then clicked to purchase the pro version for all the functions. Purchase went through fine but upgrade never happened. Tried restore but nothing. tried to repurchase, but app store says it was already purchased and would be restored. Never happened. Unable to contact developer regarding this. Don't waste your time!

Glad I found it!. Was totaling receipts for income tax season and wishing I still had my old adding machine with a paper tape to review. It suddenly struck me... I bet there's an app for that! Found this one; everything I needed. A real timesaver! Did all my taxes on the free version, but will buy the upgrade so I can save my tapes and email them. Glad I found it!

Not good. Keys are difficult to see. The free version only adds and subtracts. If your math requirements are above kindergarten level don’t bother. They want $3 to unlock normal features found on other apps such as x and / capabilities.

Perfect :-). I really missed having an ACTUAL adding machine (a printing calculator is NOT the same thing; adding machines act like a number line; the user must assign a + or - designation to each numerical value).This app has brought back the adding machine :-) I just love it :-) The ability to save multiple "tapes" is just gravy :-)

It works, would love real adding machine sounds. This works fine for me. I have had no issues that have been mentioned all of the reviews. My only complaint is, I would love to have a true traditional (mechanical) adding machine sounds when I hit the punch keys or hit the total key. The 1950-60’s adding machine sounds

Not helpful. Can't do basic math because trying to subtract by using the minus symbol just makes the number negative. Waste of space.
