Owner D.R. Woodworks Portsmouth, NH.. This is not another feet and inch calculator, it’s obvious the developers work in the building trades or sought the input of professional tradesmen. My only complaint is that another piece of technology has made a lot of our hard earned knowledge available to any idiot with five bucks and a smart phone!

Construction Master Pro. I have used some version of this calculator for I believe the better part of thee decades now. I love the convenience of it being on my phone which is with 24/7. The only draw back is the screen shutting of and having to reopen my phone every time I want to enter something that it took a little bit of time to verify or measure. This could be changed in settings I am aware but as most of us, I don’t want my phone laying open indefinitely. For large projects I still use the stand alone calculator of the Construction Master Pro. The convenience of it always being with you without having to carry an extra device and how easy it is to load updates, makes it a must have for all serious carpenters or tradesmen. Well done! Ron

Great purchase. I’ve bought this actual calculator several times and had to replace it because I lost it or drove over it. Then I bought the app, and it is always in your pocket and an essential tool to have no matter what kind of construction you do. I currently still own one of the real calculators, but I use the app everyday.

Like others, let me use the free first. Let me use the free version first, and choose to upgrade to a paid solution later. I’m not activating a 7-day trial only to forget about it. Every leaseware developer cries that subscriptions are necessary to “bring new features, fix bugs, etc.” That was called upgrades in the past, and you chose to buy if you wanted to added features and bug fixes. Today’s rentware world is driving all consumers mad. Sorry, but if you sold it for a price, I’d shop and decide. But not through a “give me your payment plan and hope you forget to cancel” attitude.

Better than the actual calculator. I have been using this calculator for years as a concrete business owner. After breaking and losing so many of these I finally just downloaded the app and boy was I pleased. It's crisper easier to use and honestly going to save me money and heartache when I can't find my Calc. Ty for this Very satisfied customer

Best little calculator. I had purchased the stand alone calculator many years ago and the app at least 4 year’s ago. The calculator holder on my tool belt is a perfect fit for my phone. This is a great app as well as the stand alone. Best of all the help and manual is one click away if happen to forget the keystrokes for the stair layout or any other function. The app is similar in cost to the stand alone, but I would still own both. When I do not have phone in my tool belt the calculator is there. The new calculators have a tough plastic shell and the older version have an opening cover like a notebook. So I guess I own three. This is a great calculator layout for a builder.

Keep it simple. Please allow me to keep the calculator in full screen mode. I should not have to hit the full screen tab every time I open the calculator. I’m constantly hitting the home and help buttons by accident. I hear button clicks, but it doesn’t always register on the calculator. I’m having to redo calculations almost every time I use this calculator now. I’m also pretty sure there’s some glitches in the software calculations as well. These are all new problems in the last few months that I’ve never had in 30 years of using this calculator. This has always been a 5 star app, but not now.

Not worth the lease. Costs as much as CI 4065!. What a rip. The app will cost as much as the hand held dedicated Calculated Industries 4065 calculator in just the first year of leasing it! Every year thereafter is like buying another calculator! CI is just being greedy on a money grab thinking people will just see the lease payment as a smaller amount aggregated over a year hoping the consumer overlooks that it’s into perpetuity. I’ll keep using the $55 CI-4065 which I own outright. I enjoy the added benefit of ensuring my $1400 phone isn’t damaged on a job site or worse, develop wings.

Delayed clicking sound. Absolutely, top-notch app and interface, but for some reason, the latest version has a click sound that is slightly delayed from when you hit the button, very annoying when inputting quickly.

Carpenter must. If you are doing Carpenter work, this app is a must. It will do everything that you need it to do. It will help you in many ways. If you are a master, it will bless you. If you’re an amateur, it will aid you. For one, computing in inches and fractions is great. To change from metric to English is very easy as well. The rise and run feature is very useful to me. I have a degree in math, so I use it for many computations. We used to pay over a 100 dollars for a construction master pro calculator. Now it is on your phone.

Early purchaser. App is great and works just as intended. Only giving four stars because of the yearly subscription price. Your price is outrages thankfully I bought the app years ago when it was a one time purchase for like $25. Other than that though it really is phenomenal and great to have on my phone but not worth $40 a year imo.

The Best!. I don’t know the number of times I have used this app. It is the best for laying out your plans and projects from herring bone floors to windows and doors to figuring out the number of stds to just about anything you could wish for. It helps so much in translating foot and inches to mm and cm to meters!

Right Tool. I’ve worked in the constriction line of work 40 years. Like most people in this line of work, the task at hand have changed from time to time. I have roofing, structural framing which includes difficult stairs calculations and radius form work and layout, concrete work, cabinet building, brick and block work, interior finishing ( suspended ceilings, flooring,) . This tool, like all other tools used in the users tool box, is quality, speed, accuracy oriented. Get it and never worry about getting the information you need.

Construction calculator. I found the original construction calculator at least 15 to 20 years ago. I have used them ever since that time, I have always had a couple in my truck one in the office one of my briefcase and several of them I have dropped broken over the years and had to replace. When I was looking to buy another new one I saw that they had the app online and now with it having it on my phone I have two on my desk there’s none in my truck there’s none in my briefcase it all works right off the phone and I haven’t broken it once. If you are in construction of any kind you should have this app on your phone.

Great Calculator. The support is good because they are video tutorials that you can read on how to. The digital paper printer function is extremely helpful for you to review your work and saves time. Would definitely recommend to someone and have.

Awesome calculator!!. I’m somewhere in between professional and DIYer and this calculator is just the most handiest tool I’ve got!! There are still a lot of functions im still learning and bought this app 3-4 years ago, it almost has no limit on what I can do with it! And I’ve already recommended it to a friend… Review follow up- btw I love the new look!!!

Handy on the Jobsite. Useful tool to have when walking the job site. Much easier than having to carry a full size calculator. I think $25 is a little more than it should cost personally, but it’s still cheaper than the real calculator. One complaint I have is the App icon looks very dated aside the rest of the apps on my phone. Hopefully that isn’t a sign that it no longer receives updates, or that it will become incompatible with new iOS versions.

Beware : Subscription. Be aware that this app has been changed to a subscription based model, rather than the outright purchase it used to be. All you need. I might have 9 of there calculators in truck,office an even buy the bed. To be able an have it on your phone is awesome.. you always have your phone.. well worth the $. If this is what you do for a living your not even reading these reviews you already have it an love it.

Excellent App. If you’re making a living in the trades, you need this app. Always with me because it’s on my phone, not a separate device that I could easily forget or leave somewhere by accident. I use this app nearly every day. I’m a residential builder/remodeler and this is a go to app for roof framing, layout, gable walls, stairs, concrete, blocks, and brick takeoffs just to name a few. I am always finding new ways to use this app. Highly recommended.

Subscription? No thank you. Looks like the handheld and I’m sure there are much more sophisticated and user-friendly features in the app, but the price for this app if it’s subscription-based is absurd. I would probably purchase this app for $40-$60 if it were a one time purchase. But you’re talking about charging me over $200 for the time I’m going to use it. For that price, why would anyone choose the app over the handheld? Of course I’m biased but this change seems extremely unfair to the customer. I will choose another brand for my handheld based on this. Looking forward to the snarky, condescending response from the developer. Please do your worst. 🍿🍿

Great value. Where do I start singing the praises for this app? Let’s start with the construction master calculator itself. It is an invaluable tool for figuring roofs alone, but so much more. When you have the app on your phone it is always handy and at your fingertips. I purchased the app many years ago, and it transfers every time I replace my iPhone. I probably would have worn out several calculators in the time I’ve had this app. Cool thing is, when there is an upgrade, it downloads and I am up to date in minutes. I cannot live without the Construction Master Pro. Just sayin.

Great app, great service. Use the app all time for my trim carpentry work, when switching phones, had a little issue finding my existing purchase, wrote an email to customer support and within 2 or 3 minutes was up and running. One of my favorite apps

Great calculator. Have used my desktop model for 30 years and couldn’t live without it until this app. Although the giant desktop is great for crunching numbers at home I always use the app on the job site. A bit pricey but worth it if you want an in depth construction calculator and especially if you are already familiar with the format of the non virtual model. Have no regrets about buying.

No millimeters?. Just 2 days past the trial period and went to use this and realized there is no millimeter or centimeter button, without an extra step. No button as there is on the hand held calculator. Nevertheless, the app is clear, easy to use, and support is great so I will keep it.

Was a good deal with app purchase till update. Was a great tool with a simple one time fee till the last update . Now I get the pleasure of having to login in to apple each time I use it cause they decided to make it a subscription . Sorry I’d use my real construction master over that any day of the week . I would like this fixed but I’m sure it’s gonna take a long time . I’ll use it till they will not let me , but I regret not waiting 24 hours on any updates. I paid for this app along time ago already.

Recently very disappointed. I used to absolutely love this app... But recently it now needs cell service to initiate.. I work in very rural areas without cell service often... And now the app won't work in those areas. I paid quite a bit for something that now does not work all the time.

Something has changed. Since the last upgrade somehow the keys on the iPad and iPhone don’t respond to the calculator. The results don’t always come out right. This can be very scary. Usually I double check it knowing this flaw in the new version of the software. But it can’t be half right.

Great app but didn’t transfer when I switched phones. I switched phones a couple weeks ago and the app didn’t transfer and now it’s asking for me to pay a yearly fee to use it. I would really like if I didn’t have to seeing as I already bought it and it just didn’t transfer but if I have to please let me know

Great Tool. I like everything except I don’t know how to erase ONLY the last digit put in by mistake,so you have to delete and start all over. My old stand alone model had a backspace arrow,so you don’t lose all of your calculations. That’s all. Somebody’s gonna let me know how to do it. I just know it. I hope so!!

Great for fencing. Works great to layout fencing jobs especially if you’re not using a tape with tenths because it adds fractions. That’s just the tip of the iceberg; if you educate yourself on the many functions of this app, you can basically layout most any construction project. Thanks for a great product!!!

Pretty Obvious Bait & Switch. While the description does mention that the first seven days are free and then there’s a few structure… it’s pretty deep into the description, and not many people looking for this type of thing are going to read that deep before downloading an app. What I found most off-putting was the snarky sarcastic tone of the developer’s replies to critical reviews. Whoever is writing the replies for this developer isn’t even bothering to hide their absolute disdain and disrespect of potential customers. If this is representative of the “customer service” experience, I’m glad I deleted this app without even starting the trial. Do yourself a favor, find a better app with actual customer service. Don’t pay $40 a year to be treated like a peasant for a run of the mill calculator app.

It’s always with me. As a GC I have used a Construction Master almost daily for years. It’s the industry standard. The problem was I would use it at my desk while working on a bid and not have it in the field the next day, or reach for it in while pouring over a set of plans only to realize it was in my bags in the truck. Not anymore! My phone is always with me and now so is my Construction Master.

Last of a dying breed. Have used the calculator app for over 12 years. Had a handheld model in our job trailer (right next to the rafter table book) when I began framing 30 years ago. It has made figuring stairs and roofs quicker and more accurate. With the programmed tolerances I can jump from commercial to residential stairs with ease. Checking work on stepped out rafters keeps everything square, level and plumb. From rafter jacks to yds of concrete in a footing. This app pays for itself.

Don’t waste your time unless you want to pay for an over-priced subscription. I had used the standalone calculator before and really liked it. When I saw the app I thought I would try it. Unfortunately, it would not let me run the app without choosing a subscription plan. Sure I could cancel in 7 days and not get charged - if I don’t forget. However, the price was so outrageous that I just deleted the app. 50 bucks for an annual SUBSCRIPTION is ridiculous! The calculator is good, so I might pay $30 or $40 to BUY the app, but I’m certainly going to pay forever for a subscription when you can buy the standalone calculator that will last for years for $50 or $60. Sorry I wasted my time.

Great calculator. This thing will build anything if you know how to use it. Way better on the app than the actual calculator because you have instructions right here. Don’t have to worry about carrying a book around or finding it for losing it.

Best Calc app for construction!. I love this app and use it every day in the job. It can do many things and has a help section to show you the proper way to figure for your project. The only thing that annoys me about this app is that every time it updates it turns key clicks back on which I hate. I’m just turn them back off but at least save my settings. But still easiest 5 star rating ever

This will help your career. I have had this on my iPhone for a very long time. Super convenient because you normally always have your phone on hand, not always a calculator when you need one in the field or shop. I have used this as a metal fabricator, structural fitter, ironworking in buildings, plants and working on large ships. This app is always updated with newer software which you cannot do with a calculator. If you use a calculator in the trades, just get this app.

Subscription is a scam. I have the hand-held calculator and it’s awesome! Downloaded the app thinking it would be a simple purchase (and it used to be, I just didn’t act on it earlier), but now they’ve joined the subscription scam movement where you can’t just buy something and use it, you have to continue to pay them, basically renting the thing. It’s one thing to pay a subscription for an actual service but you shouldn’t have to pay for a subscription to use a product, you should be able to buy and not rent. My advice, buy the hand held one, it’s $75 on their web site, it’s great, don’t give in and pay way more to rent the thing on your phone.

Thank you. This is the absolute must have calculator that you have to have if you’re gonna do anything and construction, I’ve had the Calculator around the shop for years. That we have used and still use to this day. When my boss told me about the app and made me get it. That was the thing in the world, complete game changer! I use everyday in every aspect imaginable. I want to say thank you master pro calculator for having the best thing since sliced bread! Y’all are amazing

Recommendation. I’ve been using this calculator for well over 20 years now. As a young man starting out in the trades, it was a big investment to buy $70 to have on the site, but I did it. As soon as the app became available, download it in 2005 or 2006 I have had no issues with the app or the calculators that I own they work extremely well, however, and that is a big however, when I recommended this app to my new hires, they told me it cost $20 a month. Since it’s clear people involved with calculators know how math works equivalent cost of this app over the next 16 years would be $3840!!! There is no way in good conscience that I can recommend this to any young man starting out in the trades. Any calculator can do this math for you. It just not worth it.

Calculator disappears ….major glitch!!. This is a Major glitch. Every time I try to open the app it disappears. I’ve paid for this app and updated it and it still does not work. Please fix this as soon as possible or give me a refund!

One more option……please!. Love the new design. Could you make it an option to open in full screen…that’s my preferred layout when using this app, however, I know I may be speaking only for myself but would be nice to only show Home, Saved Tapes & Help when need be since these are functions I rarely use. Why $40/year?. I was recommended this app by a framer. Apparently there are physical calculators you can buy, but the framer loves having it on his phone. What we didn’t realize was that the app switched to a subscription fee some time ago. The physical calculator can last years if taken care of, so your purchase will be distributed over time until you need to purchase a replacement. But the subscription price of this app is nearly equivalent to buying a new calculator EVERY YEAR! I understand that a one time app purchase for a company switching from physical to digital is not sustainable since the app will go with you from phone to phone, whereas the physical product gets repurchased. Here’s my suggestion: keep the subscription model, but reduce the cost to reflect the average lifespan of the physical calculator. Then the decision your customers will make is “If I am paying basically the same amount either way, would I rather have digital on my phone with me everywhere or a physical calculator that doesn’t cost as much to replace as my phone if it breaks. Unfortunately, the current subscription model is undermining the value of this product. And for me, turns me away. I will check back later to see if the company has made any changes. Edit: In response to the developer; some people do not want or need extra features and just want a mobile construction calculator. Consider making different subscription tiers that unlock the newer features you are developing. Let your customers choose what they buy into.

YOU PAY NOW or WE HOLD YOUR DATA HOSTAGE.. I like having different types of calculators but paying 4.99 a month or 40 dollars a year? Seems steep for your average weekend warrior or hobbyist woodworker. They just updated it so I wanted to look around at the new features. The developers have a lock out screen now and are forcing you to pick one option for subscribing. That is just not cool and would hold your notes and data hostage if your subscription ran out. That is a deal breaker right there and needs to be fixed. Lastly, I have enough subscription based stuff and don’t need another one nickel and diming me. Give me a lifetime option please. I wouldn’t reward this type of behavior.

Subscription is crippling the app. The app was an excellent choice over the dedicated real calculator. After owning the app for over 6 years. Now the app is slowly being crippled with the company pushing subscription basis. I would recommend buy the calculator it’s no longer worth buying this app and paying yearly subscription. Stay away from updating the app if you can it’s slowly degrading its functionality to just a simple calculator. Best ratings were prior to the latest subscription ploy. Too bad was such a great app for the trades.

Awesome App. I’ve had this version for a few years now and it still has much more features than I even use. Makes calculating square footages a breeze and converting ft. To decimals basically effortless! You won’t be disappointed with the purchase of the full version for sure!

Amazing app, subscription is killing it. I own this app, have purchased for my iPad, I have recommended it to every architect, engineer, and subcontractor I know, and yesterday when purchasing for my sister we found out there’s a subscription… sadly, I cannot recommend a subscription app when Home Depot sells them for $40-$50… I wouldn’t mind if you were to increase the price for such useful app, but a subscription really is killing it for me… I hope you are able to bring back this app…

Go back to old version. I have used this calculator app since February 2016. The introduction of the bar at the bottom of the screen makes it extremely annoying due to the fact I keep hitting the “help” icon instead of the “+”. There should be a setting to keep app in full screen mode after it is closed. Like others have said this is a very new problem for a long time customer. I am about ready to start carrying my Construction Master 5 again.

GREAT Calculator!. I’m just a DIYer handyman, with some mechanical aptitudes. Although I’m not a professional, I love this calculator for my woodworking projects and home improvement/repair projects. It’s a whole lot easier than trying to figure the calculations out in my head. I’ve had a physical version of this for years. But some of the improvements in this app are truly amazing. Whether you’re a professional or, especially if you’re a DIYer like me, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you add this tool to your toolbox!

No Metric Option??!!. How can you not offer an option to switch the calculator to metric? Seeing as the whole world outside of North America uses metric seems like you would be missing out on a big market?

Rent your calculator. Seriously, I have to rent your app to use this calculator? I purchased this app years ago on my other company iPhone. Because that Apple ID is tied to the other phone I can’t re-download it and now I’m just noticing today that I have to RENT your app! Are you crazy? I think it’s time to make a competing app.

why is this a subscription app now?. I have used this app on 2 different phones over for many years. I switch to iPhone and want to buy but this app but apparently it is now a subscription now?! It’s just a calculator and a subscription makes no sense. Just let me pay once and use it how I want to…. Maybe someone else has made a version that isn’t a recurring payment…

Subscription based?. As an employer I have reimbursed multiple employees for the purchase of this app and the physical calculators over the past decade. No longer. Your product is great but your greediness switching to subscription based makes this something I can no longer recommend or purchase for my guys.

Micro transactions... Another great app lost to the world of corporate greed. App is fine, subscriptions are trash, and it’s disappointing that you can’t buy anything outright anymore. Go to HomeDepot and buy the physical product for $80 instead of being buckled and dimed forever.

Master carpenter. This calculator is a must have for stairs roofs and estimates it makes my life easier and I’m sure it will do the same for you. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to any and all people involved in the construction industry.

Subscription based app. Clearly this one the best calculators out there but I bought mine years ago. I have new apprentices on the crew that I wanted to all use the same calculator and I suggested this one. I opened up the app and to my shock and dismay saw that it was now subscription based! Which is an immediate turn off for anyone interested. Who wants to pay 50$ a year perpetually for a calculator??

Awesome Calculator. Each person in my team has a construction maste pro, and I have had a calculator for about 15 years during my construction life. I hope they come out with one that also has conversions for RSI to R values and some others which we need for our Building design company.

Update ruined performance. Ever since the update, the responsiveness of the keys on the calculator are no where near what they used to be. I used to be able speed through equations. Now, I have to retype almost every other calculation…

Construction master pro app. I downloaded this app to try the 7 day free trial. Once I downloaded the app it shows you all the features of the app and then all you can do is choose one of the two subscriptions payment options. I can not comprehend why this app would be a subscription base app. Why wouldn’t I just buy their hand held calculator then. Make this app a one time payment and you will have less people upset with you. All your reviews all mentioning this. Let me know when you remove you subscription and goto one time purchase.

Game Changer!. This app has been a game changer. I don’t even know how many years I’ve had this app. In previous years before I got the app. I had the actual calculator that was very expensive . They got dropped , or were dropped upon and the job basically came to a standstill . I make sure the main guys on our site have this app, and would recommend it to anybody in the construction industry.

Yearly subscription?. My boss recommended this app and I’m his day he bought it for 45$. Now the app has a yearly cost. Won’t be paying, won’t be using, I’ve looked for 5 minutes and found several other options that still have the guts to be a one time purchase.

Best calc app for construction. Best calc app for construction. Extremely useful in Canada, BC. Here we still use both systems metric and imperial unfortunately. The app helps switching between the systems.

Business Model. I bought this for $35. After a few changes of my phone I want to install it again (plus I’m back in my trade). But I see this has changed to the pay-us-forever model. If I install this now, will it respect an early adopter or will my last $35 spent be forgotten and I’m now on the pay-us-forever also? I ask coz there are apps that do respect early adopters.

This is ridiculous and fraudulent. As a third generation carpenter, I trusted the ConstructionMaster name, but this is ridiculous. I paid for this app and now it’s running ads on me. I could understand if there was some need for a new edition and I chose to ridiculously buy it/subscribe, or even if there was a need for updates, but it’s the same functionality as the calculator I’ve had for 20 years. Good to know that if they could put microtransactions and ads on my physical calculator that they would. Utter garbage behaviour from a once reputable company. Zero stars isn’t an option.

Stop interruption. Like the app. But the beef I have it’s the interruption when I open the app (survey, updates, messages etc). When I open the app is to calculate now.

Zero audio in demo videos. I turned off Bluetooth and made sure my audio worked on other apps yet no audio on the demo vids played through the app. And yes I toggled to onscreen mute button too. Solid app otherwise, insane amount of features

Best tool on the Job Site. I purchased the Construction Master calculators early on and used them for every volume, measurements, stairs and rafters, squaring layouts, doing material take offs ever since. I’ve had the app since it came out and continue to use it on all of my devices it’s awesome! I’ve been a Carpenter and Supervised medium sized construction sites for over 25 years and these products have been used throughout all projects large and small to make quick work of the tasks at hand.

Outrageous. Why paye a year fee when you can get it in store for 100$ if it was a once payment I would get it but this is ridiculous

Not worth it.. Should be able to do one time purchase and own it. Paying $60 annually for a calculator what a joke.

SUBSRIBTION FOR CALCULATOR!!. It’s crazy how we even need to pay a subscription for a calculator nowadays. One time payment would be acceptable or offer a free version with ads. Anything but subscriptions please!

Subscription Fess LOL. Glad I own the physical calculator but I’d never pay a subscription to have this on my phone. It would have been handy to have on my phone thankfully I already own it.

Simple. Good calculator for this guy. Had it for over 12 years. Don’t go into the weeds with the calculator but promote to all our employees. Shame they charge an annual subscription now.

Love it but!…... Why is there no backspace button like a physical construction master? You can be adding 4 measurements together, press 1 wrong button and have to clear everything and redo. What’s weird is it even shows it in the photo in App Store.

I want to buy it, not to be forced to commitment.. I love this brand. I have a physical calculator of this brand and I’d like to have it conveniently in my phone, but I want to buy it, not to have an annual commitment. It doesn’t make any sense to me. I was happy to download it and I was very disappointed having to delete the app. ☹️

I despise when apps deceive. First off do NOT advertise app is free as long as you deal with advertising. I am all about trying something out but not to be suckered in with a FREE Trial just give us your CC in hopes you forget to cancel and app developers and Apple get paid when you possibly forget to cancel you FREE trial subscription. With that said this is a hard pass for me. Hopefully it is good for those using it, I am out.

Used this app for years. I have been using the calculator for years. First in the feild, and later in the office. Fast and efficient!

Bummer. They ruined my favorite phone app.. Wow what an unpleasant surprise to try and buy this app on a new phone to find out it’s subscription ONLY. No way I’ll ever sign up for that hogwash. I’d of paid $350 for this app the last 8 years on subscription. That’s unfathomable for an iPhone app. This is not a streaming service of some kind, it is a calculator. I’ll be finding something else. Pound sand CM Pro!

Great calculator. I have many calculators but this one is best, does everything easily and is always with me. No more digging thru my truck or tool box just open up my phone.

Problem. Would I be able to get my money back? , at my Job I’m not able to pull out my phone to use the calculator for some problems, other than that. It would be a great tool!

Great purchase!. Please add swipe to delete. I find my self swiping to try to delete typo’s which just slides oven to show an options menu. I know you can tap to delete but that doesn’t flow well.

So convenient 💯💯💯. Awesome tool to have on my phone which has to be on my person at all times on the jobsite. Old calculators kept getting broken by careless co-workers. They’ll have to buy their own now. 🤣

Exactly what I wanted. As a carpenter I have used a construction master from foundations to roofs, and everything in between. When I wasn’t wearing my tool pouches I was always running back to the truck to get my calculator. Now it’s always by my side.

Amazing please add the ( MASTER PLUS EZ). Already bought your calculators they are amazing i love them. But i wish you can make the app of the (Master plus ez) there’s a lot construction out there waiting for the calculator. I am A construction Contractor and i know the calculator is a 💣💥 for subcontractors

Always with me. I use the construction master pro in the office and have enjoyed the app on my phone. The phone is always with me meaning I need to carry less in my bags.

Framer. This is my first proper construction Calc. Handles everything you can encounter on a framing job. I have other apps as well but I always have the CM open for convenience. A must have for anyone doing framing!

Calc review. Awesome app use it all the time in construction Best thing I’ve ever used for calculating anything and very easy to use with great instructions if you do need help.

GC. I use this calculator everyday! It has always been a great app to use easy to operate and gets you results you need when you need it. I got it for all my guy’s and it’s has been a valuable tool on the job and off!

The BEST calculator ever for almost anything!. If you know how to run all the options, this calculator will do most anything you need it to. It’s a must to have it.

I love my Calculates Industries Calculator!!!. I have been using my calculator for over the past 20 years - I have the one that does trig and does metric as well and the feet and inch calculations . I absolutely love it!!!!!

Annoying pop up now. I rarely use this app. Got this app several years ago and only use it for basic things because I changed fields. Not sure what the deal is but when I open up the app I get the stupid welcome screen. No matter what I do I can’t turn off that option.

Love this App. Love this App. Replaced my Construction Master Calculator. Only issue I have is the Flash page that comes up before you enter the App. Since I Spent the extra bucks to own it out right “ both App & Calculator “ why do I have to put up with a splash page or asking me continuously to rate it??? So for that I’m deducting 3 stars.

App version, yeaaaa.. I purchased the hardware version of this device several years while working in construction, and was thrilled when it became available as an app for my iPhone. Thank you so much.

You need this. Any builder who does layout or takeoff should have this and learn to use it. I got the CM IV over twenty years ago and never looked back. Great product.

Very convenient. After using the stand alone pro Calc I find that having it stored on my phone is much more convenient. It is with me at all times and is very easy to use.

Not impressed. I purchased this app some 6 years ago. Now they switch to a monthly or yearly subscription?? I have used this calculator a lot from the time I bought it. I am really disappointed they made it this way. Just another way to get more money out of people. Don’t waste money on the subscription!! Just going to go buy the real calculator…

Something has changed. Since the last upgrade somehow the keys on the iPad and iPhone don’t respond to the calculator. The results don’t always come out right. This can be very scary. Usually I double check it knowing this flaw in the new version of the software. But it can’t be half right.

Help. I bought this app on Samsung phone and now I have an iPhone and I downloaded this app again and it asks me to pay again, please if you can help me, thank you

Just like the calculator … but better. All the functions of the handheld calculator but better because my phone is always in my pocket. We’ll worth the cost!

Scammers. I had this app on my iPhone and had used it for years. When I got an iPad Pro I went to download the app I already had to it but it wouldn’t let me use now unless I pay almost $40 per year. Since it was a shred app it also effected the app I already had on my phone. Now I can’t use it at all and I refuse to pay for something i already had.

Switching phones. I bought the app 4 or 5 years ago it works great until you switch phones and have to struggle to contact someone about having bought it before the subscription when it was a one time fee with lifetime updates

Great for fractions and conversions. Already own this same calculator as a stand alone tool. Bought this app so I’d always have its features with me. Works great!

Construction Calc on phone. It’s great to have this easy to use construction calculator on my phone. Very Handy for calculating volumes for concrete, fill, paint, etc. It was very tedious to calculate roofs and stairs and other things that involve angles on the job before this. Good for takeoffs too.

Thrilled and disappointed. I am thrilled with the functionality of the calculator. I am lucky to have BOUGHT the calculator app when you still could. I am very disappointed that the app has now become subscription based…and I no longer recommend it for my students.

Best Calculator ever.. I’m a retired Construction Superintendent Journeyman Carpenter I’ve bee using my calculator since 1993. And the app. Ever since I could install it on my IPhone. I use to figure rafters long hand. Then convert the measurements. What a life saver. Thank You.

A must have. I’m a general building contractor. I use this app everyday when I’m on the job. Accurate and easy to use. Makes my life much easier.

Optimal for calculating on job site. I utilize this on the daily in the shop fabricating, or on site from grid lines to architectural. Only wish there was a back button like the calculators!

Top notch product. Over the years I’ve had several and they wear out eventually the APP is a awesome idea my last project manager had it and I couldn’t resist it’s only twenty bucks and always on me 👍🏻

Owner. Absolutely the best for all calculations for builders! Saves so much in time and money. I’ve had CM Pro Calculators since the late 90’s. I love what it does for my crews and builds. Wouldn’t build without it!

Great app. Horrible subscription!!. I’ve had this app for 5+ years and have really liked it. I still do as I don’t have to pay the monthly fee. But it’s the new users I wish to speak for…. Been recommending it to new employees as they come on board but won’t be doing that anymore due to the exorbitant monthly fees. No I won’t recommend your physical calculators either. You’ve ruined it with the decision to charge so much.

Used a Construction Master since the eighties. My first construction master was a Construction Master III, that my wife bought me for my birthday. That original purchase made me the star of the framing crew. I also owned a CM IV, and now the CM V, as well as the app. As a tradesman, I found it indispensable on the job.

Great app, if you don’t mind the subscription. I’ve been using this app for years. I purchased it when it was a one time fee. I was going to put it on all of my teams phones but unfortunately our company won’t allow subscriptions. Very disappointed .

Lag. Sometimes the lag on start up is infuriating, when you need to crunch numbers and the coding is more worried about internet connectivity (or whatever the load issue may be) it just makes me want to buy a physical calculator…

Awesome!!. I always have my phone on me so that means I always have my construction Calc with me!! I would recommend this app to anyone in construction that has to use there brain.

Subscription?!!. Very important calculator. Needing to subscribe each year is a little more than frustrating. Makes perfect business sense, y’all will rake it in, everyone uses it. I’m probably going back to the actual calculator

The only choice. This is bar none the best construction calculator there is! Hate that I have to pay for it, but will continue to pay as this is the most important tool in my box

Construction Calculator App. I have used the handheld and desktop versions of the Construction Calculator since it’s inception. Given phones are typically at hand it is awesome to have the same function and quality on the phone.

Upgrades. The latest upgrade changed the functionality of the app - the old format was better

Update made it less friendly. The latest update seems to have made the number buttons smaller and therefore more difficult to hit correctly.
