Great app. This is really a great app, but next time you update it please don't change the units without asking, it completely screws things up and it's not immediately obvious what caused the problem.

Conversions. Why did you completely ruin the conversion feature in the Machinist Calc app? It worked wonderfully, input a number followed by IN or MM and then press the opposite IN or MM to get the result. I used this ALL the time, now I regret buying this app.

Not Working with iPad. Purchased the app to show students an alternative to the handheld calculator and because "Details" stated it is compatible with the iPad. Installed it but am only getting a partial screen of the graphical user interface of the calculator. Hope they fix it soon!

Construction master. I have used the actual construction master calculator for decades and now that it’s an app. Less gadgets to carry!! The best . Try all their apps

mm to inch conversion. This is a function I use literally hundreds of times a day when looking at blueprints. Whatever update occurred caused this to no longer work. For example I should be able to press 1 then inch then mm and get 25.4 as a solution. Now it just changes from 1 inch to 1 mm. Was a really great app with handy features. Not sure now what all has been changed. Please restore functionality. Would have been 5 stars had I not lost my favorite feature. Still gets a 4 though. I've used it for 6 months with no other issues. ***Still not fixed. Down to 2 stars. Luckily I have the calculator version in my toolbox for redundancy. The new version works but it's a shame you will not fix this one for people who already have it.

Fast, accurate, easy to use. Use this app almost every day and it's an absolute time saver. All common operations for a manual machinist are included and easy to use. Trig functions, circles and bolt patterns, speeds & feeds, english/ metric conversion.......it's all there. If you're a student or experienced machinist, this app WILL make your day easier. You can either spend the $70 or so on the stand alone calculator or $20 on the app.......kind of a no brainer to me. This app has paid for itself many times over, there are few that actually so that.

No longer works!. I liked this app before the latest update. It could have had a few features to make things easier to enter like thread data. You have to remember a lot of key strokes in the correct order. Since the update, thread data doesn't work. Unit conversion doesn't work as well as other common features. It now has about the same functionality as the Apple one included with your phone but expensive Apple.

Thread info. Latest update has caused all thread info to be lost in the app rendering it useless.

Does not work anymore. I bought the calculator and then the app. The app worked at first but then they updated it. Now it doesn't work at all, good thing I have the handheld calculator. Would rate this a negative star but it doesn't go down that low.

Great App!. I happen to own the actual calculator and use that when working in the shop. I love the app version to use in class! The app has all the same features as the calculator! Calculated Industries had excellent customer service!!!

Essentiel!. Je l'utilise afin d'éviter de faire des erreurs en faisant la conversion des cotes en mesures impériales et métriques. On peut entrer des cotes dans n'importe quel système, faire des opérations arithmétiques sur ces dernières et obtenir le résultat en pouces ou mm instantanément sans se tromper. Pratique pour calculer les avances et RPM de coupe sur la fraiseuse conventionnelle. Les fonctions trigos sont simples à utiliser, tout comme les fonctions pour les forets, tarauds et filières. Finalement, la fonction localisation des trous de boulons sauve du temps. La calculatrice est toujours à portée de main dans mon coffre à outil et l'app sur l'iPod touch dans le bureau quand je révise les plans. Ça se paye tout seul par les erreurs évitées.

Highly Recommended. I've owned a hand held version of the Machinist Calculator Pro for the last 2 years. I've learned to rely on this calculator every day use in the shop, quoting, metric to imperial conversions, trig functions, tapping information and quick reference formulas I've saved. Hands down the best calculator I've owned. Having found this app now I will never be with out at work or at home. I highly recommend this for those who have been in the trade for years or those who are starting out.

Great time saver. Saves the hassle of going through all your charts or machineries handbook. To get 5 stars I need support for non UN threads like acme, stub acme, and API Thread forms

Best app in the App Store. I love it. It spits out the centre-centre distance on bolt circles. Perfect if you have to layout a bolt circle with dividers. And the threading info is super easy. No more looking in the machinerys handbook. Spits out pitch diameter, measurement over wires, tap drill size.

MATH ERROR ! CRASH !!!!. Errors occurred after the new update. FIX IT please !
