Glitching. The game is sending out more than one ball at a time making it way too difficult to play with any skill level. Please fix!

Another Gem. Another wonderful game from 10tons. Sparkle and Azkend - 2 games I have for Mac, the iPod, and now iPad. They both really shine on the iPad (hopefully Dragon Portals is next). There are quite a few different match 3 - Ball shooters on itunes. I believe this one, however, to be the best. I highly recommend this game. As I said, it's an absolute joy to play. It's well priced as well. I am so exctied, as the iPad is a great way to show just how much talent there is in 10tons. It is the ultimate marriage and the best showcase for their games. 5 BIG STARS!!!!!!!!!

They fixed it... buy this game!. They got their iPad like the rest of us and fixed the initial release. Works great now and it's a blast! Highly recommended...

Best game I've played on my iPad. Love this game! It's like zuma, but better, better music, better graphics, better action, better story! It has real staying power too, I downloaded this game ~3 years ago I think? And I still play it! Bejeweled, my other longest running game, 3 yrs, has fallen to the way side about 8 months ago, but sparkle is still interesting.

Excellent game but a little frustrating. I've been playing this game on and off for many years and I really like it. The play generally progresses well and has a variety of nice options. My only really complaint is one level Barren Shield. It is disproportionately harder than all the remaining levels. Inevitably I am playing through then run into this level and can't get past it. Very frustrating.

Beautiful and fun!. Sparkle HD has a beautiful soundtrack along with fluid and addictive gameplay in the style of Zuma. I can't recommend this one enough; I haven't been able to put it down since I bought it.

Best in this genre. Every single nook and cranny of this game is filled with quality. If you are a fan of these types of games, you owe it to yourself to pick this one up.

Awesome but...... This is an awesome game with beautiful graphics!! BUT, as some of the other players posted, some levels are way too HARD!!! (I'm stuck on day 83). But that aside, my only real complaint is that I constantly shoot a black ball thinking I'm shooting the colored ball behind it because the black ball blends in to the launcher so I can't see it unless I'm staring right at it!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE make these a different color. Maybe orange? Then you will definitely get five stars from me!!!

Eurohistorian. Had this game on the original iPad. Kudos to the developers for keeping up with iOS. But I agree with others that once you get stuck after completing the first game, you can’t go forward. Immortality doesn’t help much & switching amulets seems not to help either. You just don’t want to loose lives & play difficult levels over. How about making the master level doable & saving crazy play for expert? Before the last update I was on expert level & got stuck just like I am now on master level. Often when I get a magic move, it should be beneficial but it just propels the orbs into the pit.😖I’m playing Barren Shield, and usually there are no good moves. A reset button would be helpful because often you know it’s just not going to work out. ☹️

Great on the big screen. It's pretty much the same as the iPhone version, but man does it play well on the big screen. There is even a new power up( fire spinner).

Dissatisfied. This game blows. Once you close to the end . You can't get past level 81. I have been trying for a week. Now I'm ready to give up and delete the game

Sparkle has now hit the big screen!. All that you loved in Sparkle on the iPhone/PC/Mac but now on your iPad and with Game Center Achievements (but, just like the other versions, there are no leaderboards since the game has no score).

Master Level is Doable!. I just finished slogging through Barren Shield and finishing with the Dark Vortex. Yes, it does take time and numerous attempts. I had to revert back once after Failing Barren Shield without immortality. I was able to pickup 3 lives for a cushion when I dropped back a few levels. I did not use them and resisted the temptation when I returned to Barren Shield because I wanted them for the last level. Ended up completing Dark Vortex with my 3 lives intact. The game loads colors at random, there is NO pattern, randomly changes the colors in your slinger, pulls your slinger off the board prematurely and some of the power-ups cause premature clearing of the board. Those are the challenges of an erratic quest but the journey is great fun. BEST MARBLE SHOOTER GAME YET! (Its weakness in coding skills become its inadvertent strength in challenging play.😉)

Great game. One of the few games on my iPad, but definitely the best. Addictive action/puzzle game in the style of Luxor and Zuma with fantastic graphics, sound effects and music! So glad to have this familiar format on the iPad with a enough uniqueness about it to make it fresh and challenging.. great buy, would have paid twice the asking price for this game. Great job guys! Would love to see more games like this.

Are You Kidding Me?. "Amazing" isn't my favorite word in my dictionary, but seriously this game? is more than amazing. I downloaded a lot of iPad games but I've never enjoyed something as much as this app. the price is really cheap for how amazing the game is! waiting for more levels and updates.

Great game, with some fixes needed. I like this game better than the laptop version. It is more fun because you can aim more accurately. It is tons of fun! One star off because of how short it is. I finished in two days. More important, and I hope the company is reading this, one star off because you can get "a powerful amulet" by liking them on Facebook. I don't want anything to do with Facebook (or google or anyone else that wants to spy on everything I am doing). How about a reward for suggesting the game to a friend? How about a reward for reviewing the game? But a reward for participating in Facebook? BAH! So I liked the game, just not Facebook.

Addictive. Fun game, especially if you're a Zuma fan. Same match three concept but better graphics and power up icons. My only complaint is the case of carpal tunnels I seem to be developing from playing too much!

Underrated even with 5 stars. I don't see how this game ends up this low in the ranking (should at least be in the top 10). It is without a doubt one of the best and most professionally executed games out there. Hours of concentrated and addictive fun, extremely high replay value and beautiful graphics and music - it truly makes the iPad shine. One of the best games for the somewhat more adult player. I'd give 6 stars when available.

Absolutely delightful and ADDICTING. To start off, I am VERY picky about what video games and apps go on my iPad. I am only looking for the absolute best in quality and enjoyment. The production values are through the roof and the replay value is at the same level. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is tight and crisp. 10tons delivers yet again and I am hooked!

Good game, but frustratingly flawed. I absolutely loved this game, but like other reviews have stated, it gets impossibly difficult near the end, making for very frustrating gameplay. It's still a very good game, and worth the money, but I really would have liked to finish the quest. I've tried to beat the Barren Shield level probably close to fifty times (after having to backtrack a couple levels each time I lose all of my lives) and have used all the amulets, but the difficulty on this one level is simply insane, and ultimately just becomes irritating rather than challenging. Also, I've sent the emails to several friends and never got the special amulet, so perhaps that's a glitch.

Great fun. Addictive, with well done graphics and sound. Well worth your $5. One feature I wish it did have is multiple save slots so that more than one person at a time could have a game going. This seems to be a common problem with iPad games, but hopefully developers will catch on soon realizing that iPads are more likely to be shared than iPhones.

One of the best game in the genre.. This game used to have a couple of levels extremely difficult to pass. Over several updates, the game has been made easier and easier, but the gameplay is slick and extensive, you really get your money worth. The graphics are top notch, there is a decent story thread without too much interference. Great music. And no ads, ever, (thank you for that!)

Magnificent!. This is one of the first games I bought for my iPad and it's still on it. Great music, outstanding graphics, and challenging play make this well worth the money. There are 3 levels of game play, and the last one is a huge jump. I haven't been able to clear the dark vortex to finish the last level. A bit too hard IMO, but fun none the less.

fun & addictive.... but there's no way to save multiple games. My daughter gives it a try (whereever I've left off...), and each time I launch the game I find that I've now got to start up from the beginning. Frustrating, because she loves to play it, but I'm also tired of starting over from the beginning and losing hours of play time. I'm giving up on it.

What a game.. This app provides entertainment that only touch-interactive games allow for, which yields an incredibly immersive experience. Personally, I love the silly approach to storytelling, but others may not even notice that the app does indeed have a story. Recommended for anyone who has enjoyed a similar marble app in the past. I don't feel the $5 was wasted; this well-designed app has lots of replay value for long gaming sessions. Would like to see same-device multiplayers in the future, but would be content if they never updated again. It feels like a flawless experience as is. Can't beat the last level. So hard.

A blast!. I've played this type of game on many platform (Xbox, PS, PC and Iphone) and this Ipad version is simply the best execution by far. I seldom buy apps and I'm happy I got this one! If you like puzzle game go for it. Music, graphic, gameplay...everything you can expect from a good game is there. To be the perfect apps they should add more musics and sound effects.

Crown jewel of marble poppers. What I've always liked about Sparkle is the way the balls roll in when a level starts. Also the difficulty is just perfect. It keeps you on your toes but never seems too difficult (the Barren Shield level is very hard though). I've completed the game twice on Mac, can't wait to play the game on iPad tomorrow!

A game done right!. There are many games of this sort - the type of game in which you shoot balls to make matches as they travel toward a hole - but this has to be the most beautiful one I've ever seen. And there's no aiming! Just tap where you want the ball to go. The power-ups are nice bonuses that make the game more fun and interesting. The storyline is a bit boring, but most people don't play for the story so I don't blame them for not focusing on it much. 10Tons, I'll be watching what else you come out with! So far, so good!

So much fun!. I love this game! I usually go to bed at 9pm, but I was up until 2am trying to beat it. Keeps you going and challenges you. Wish there were more games as amazing as this one. Great graphics! Annie

Stuck!. I was enjoying this game immensely, but when I reached the level called "Barren Shield", I got stuck and couldn't progress any farther. Having become bored with attempting and failing at this level repeatedly, I have now quit playing this game and moved on to something else.

Top-notch game. This is, hands down, my favorite game for the iPad. The graphics are impressive, the gameplay is addictive, and even the music and sound effects are good. It seems strange to shoehorn a marble-shooting game into the context of a fantasy story, but in my opinion it just adds to the game's charm.

How exactly do you play this?. I just bought this based on the many good reviews. The graphics are very appealing, and I like the music, but the instructions are so minimal that I don't have a clue what the point of the game is and how to play it. Is there any skill involved here? So far, I'm just touching an orb and it goes off to join other orbs of the same color. There has to be more to this, right? I checked for website instructions but there are none. Could someone who likes this game please clue me in? Thanks.

Needs to Support Multiple Players. The game is just like Zuma and that is good, but the game Really needs to allow multiple players to play without loosing their saved games. If I play and make it to level 10 and then my Wife wants to play, she will need to delete my saved game to start at level 1. Once they fix that I will revise my review.

If I could only have ONE game. I've gotten more mileage out of Sparkle than any other game on my ipad. It's the one game I continually go back to. For a while I was very frustrated with the Barren Shield as others have said. I don't know if there was a fix to this problem since so many others mentioned it in reviews but I can now get past that level. Using the amulet of luck works the best for me. Great game!

Better than Zuma. If you are at all a fan of Zuma, you'll love this. Better power ups, better music. Makes excellent use of the iPads extra real estate. Look for the little touch-based secrets in the menus to unlock a really good powerup/ amulet. So many cool little touches in the game. It really screams quality, and it's clear that the developers really love what they're doing.

Amazingly Entertaining. I've played this game off and on for months. Once I beat it, I did it again on expert level, then master. Still play it off and on. I wish you guys would crank a few more of these out. Already beat Azkend. Looking forward to more.

Exactly what I hoped for!. I've been a fan of the "3 in a row ball shooter" games for a while and was very happy to see one finally show up on the iPad. This game is extremely well designed, plays super smooth and looks great! It's well worth the price and will keep you entertained for a long time. Well done 10Tons!

Too easy but very enjoyable. I think I played through 30+ boards before dying the first time, as I finally reached the hard layouts (with very limited access to the ball streams I needed to hit), but I did enjoy playing through those boards! And very pretty. I don't see the point to any of the amulets except Swift.

Fun game!!!. This game is a blast! Only one request. Please add the ability to create additional users. A recent update for Azkend did this, so I hope you will do the same here.

Fun but problematic. I like this game, but I have two big issues with it. First, when you lose, you don't repeat the level you just lost -- you go back a few levels. IOW, the game have "save" points every 4 levels or so, and if you lose in between those "save" points, you have to repeat your efforts. Second, there is one level that is extraordinarily difficult. I've lost about 50 times on it (compared to about 25 losses on my next worst level). Games are supposed to be challenging, but really, this level is ridiculous. In short, the game is mindless fun but also more frustrating than I think it should be. Not sure I'd recommend.

Thank you so much!!!. I have this game also in desktop version and I like it a lot. iPad version is way better, I love the touch accuracy. I played the whole game once more and really enjoyed it. This is how this kind of games should be done.

Best Game Out There. I bought this game years ago, and I continue to return to it. It is always challenging. It is pretty. Best of all, this company hasn’t followed the lead of all other developers and charged for essentially nothing. I paid for this game ONE TIME. Through 3 iPads and countless iOS updates, it has worked beautifully AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. It CAN be done, which makes me much less willing to play games I have to keep paying for. I live in Vegas. If I want to waste money on a game, I can find better ways to do it at the corner grocery store.

Addicting Game. I have never been a gamer. My husband found this game and told me I would be hooked...didn't believe him. He showed me a few quick clips on his iPad. This was the first iPhone/IPad game I have purchased. I am not able to put the game away, once I start playing. I have played for hours at night to destress. I love the graphics and music and the fact that I can save and exit....necessary when you look at the clock and realize how many hours of sleep you just gave up for fun. I love the multi-level challenge. I have recommended this to several people already. And yes, I am now officially a newbie gamer.

Nice game when it plays.... The graphics are good. The music is okay. The gameplay is fun and entertaining. The problem is, the app crashes quite often. If they fix it, it would deserve at least 4 of the 5 stars.

Please update this to support multiple players. I gave it five stars but my only complaint is that only one player can load a game at a time..in other words, it doesn't support multiple players. My wife and I must play the same game and levels. I have to wait for her to beat the game before I can start playing otherwise I while miss much of the game or delete her game by starting a new one ( the only options are to either start a new game or continue the current one). Other than that this game is very fun and the sound track is nice...some of the levels are very hard though...i have lost trying to pass certain levels time and time again...well done game though!

Well made, fun game. This is by far the best game I've played on the iPad so far. Has a lot of levels and is pretty challenging. Great graphics and gameplay make this game a steal for the price.

If you get stuck, you're done.. in any of the game modes, if you get stuck at a certain level, there is no way to proceed. There should always be a way to move forward, and there are plenty of ways the developers could implement this. As it stands, the game becomes frustrating instead of enjoyable, and so it gets a one star review. Pity, because the game is otherwise charming, and has great potential. If the developers add a cheat button, or a skip button, or some way to move forward without having to win, I will change the review and give it five stars.

The best in iTunes. This is THE BEST marble shooter in iTunes. I made the mistake of buying this first, then months later I bought Luxor, and this game is sooooo much better. The graphics are outstanding, much better then most of the games on iTunes. The gameplay is so accurate and smooth, that I wound up getting a iPad stylus ( yes, they do exist) because my finger would be in the way..... I do agree that we should be able to save by each level, but for anyone giving it a low rating because it's too hard? Shame on you! Most games on iTunes trend to the easy and quick, but this game progresses well. The last levels are really hard, but they a the last levels, they should be really hard. I have completed the game on all three levels, and the last one took days to do, but is doable. I wish they would make a sequel. Outstanding game!

Can't save at any level means lots of frustration. Some levels easy others extremely hard. Arbitrary save points mean you can end up stuck having to repeat difficult stages because you can't clear 5-6 of them with 3 lives. Save point should be allowed at each level so if you lose all your lives you can restart at the last uncleared level. Sadly programmers did not think of this. Most power ups are useless. Grey orbs look too much like black orbs. You can do better guys. 1 star only.

Almost perfect.... I love this app - beautiful graphics, fantastic music, fun gameplay. However, my problem is the same as a previous review. There is one level (86) that is soooooo difficult, I think I am done with the app. I have tried it many, many times, using all amulets possible, but to no avail. Was fun for a while, but now I am just aware how much time I am wasting. If it weren't for that, it would easily earn 5 stars.

No good.. This game is not what I expected. Very boring, all you do is shoot out colored balls to knock out other balls. Every level is the same boring game. Same your money.

So stinkin' tired of games without screen rotation. Just lazy programming, and it renders the game unplayable with a portfolio type iPad case because the iPad slowly slips out as you play. Tools...

Boring. Just another boring and uninspired Zuma clone. Nothing here to set it apart from the dozens of other clones. Levels repeat over and over again. One or two levels are exponentially more difficult than the rest -- not challenging, just frustrating. Soundtrack sounds like something you'd hear at a circus. Save your time and money.

The Best Horoscopes EVER !!. I have no idea how she does it, but KT's horoscopes are surprisingly accurate. A must have for anyone interested in astrology. It is so good that they should charge for it.

Is a very good app. I recommend this app,is very addictive why is very detailed And the controls are very easy and simple to play. Is very,very,very good game.

Needs one thing. The developer needs to allow more than one player to keep track of separate progress. Every time I play the game I mess up my spouses level, either she has to start from scratch or I advance from her saved game...she doesn't like that! Other than that it's a fantastic game.

Crashes. The free version is great, but if you think that you are going to be able to play the other levels when you buy it, think again. Paid version crashes after you find 1st amulet.

My favorite iPad game. I love this game! The graphics, sound, music and gameplay in Sparkle is unmatched. If you like stylish puzzlers like Zuma, check it out.

Slick and Addictive. Exactly like the Mac version. One of the best ball poppers with many levels, power-ups & awesome amulets.

Excellent!. The graphics are smooth and beautiful. The music is very nice and the effects are very cool. I love bejeweled twist, montezuma, and those types of games. This is by far my favorite.

The best color matcher on the app store. The quality, graphics, sound, music, gameplay, challenge, and everything about this game is absolutely top notch. It has a certain movie magic about it, totally engrossing, entertaining, just amazing. There's a lite version you can try for free, but really you need to settle into the full version to appreciate the depth of beauty and experience this game has to offer. With a huge campaign mode and an endless survival mode, this one will keep you playing for a long time. Easily worth the money, best color matcher on the app store!

I'm in love with this game. I was first introduced to this game a few years ago and fell in love with , and have been looking for it for quite sometime. I got my ipad in august and for the first five months a have been really bored with it until I got sparkle, this game is addictive and fun and interesting!!!! I gave this game five stars cause it made me love my iPad again...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

This is Spectacular!. I was looking for Zuma when I got my iPad 2 and found out they didn't have it, I later came across this 3 days later and I am blown away how much better this game it. You get awesome power ups that look beautiful. And if for some reason you are colorblind they have you covered there also in the options. This is simply the best app I have so far! All I can say is if you like Zuma you will Love Sparkle HD! Buy this game!

Gets too hard. I like games where I don't get all the way to the end and then have absolutely no hope of completing it because it gets impossibly hard. This game unfortunately becomes impossible around level 92. Deleting from iPad and giving up on it.

great fun. My 8 year old grandson enjoyed the light version so much he chose sparkle for an upgrade ahead of any other light downloaded game. Good work to the inventor.

I'm totally addicted to this game.... To be honest, I'm really more of a RPG, hack-n-slash gamer and I'm not exactly sure why I downloaded the lite version of Sparkle, maybe it was all the good reviews. The point is though, as soon as I started playing the free version, I was totally addicted, and a few minutes later I downloaded the full game. Colorblind. Great game!!!!!! Specially the colorblind mode

Impossible level. I love(d) this game... Until day 82 "Barren Shield" that is. The previous levels were challenging but eventually doable with the right amulet. Barren Shield is now ruining the game. It's impossible, and I am getting tired of having to repeat previous levels over and over just to get back to Barren Shield, only to fail, again. A tweak at this level to help us through would change my review back to 5 stars.
