Review. Very happy with how this app gives me the view of my residence when my family is away. Loads properly and has never crashed. Great app

Can't ask for more. Cheap hardware and cheap software. You get what you pay for. Want high res buy better products. Overall not bad.

Works Flawless. It worked for me on 3G and WiFi, no issues at all.

Worked great until last update. 3G doesn't work. Works fine on wifi from anywhere in the world, which means i have port forwarding set correctly (contrary to avnet's FAQ regarding their crappy software not working over 3G. I'm a power-user, everything is setup correctly, it's a software problem specific to the very last update. PLEASE FIX IMMEDIATELY!!! If you have old version, I suggest keeping it until this is fixed. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!

IP address not accessible. Very frustrating. Sometimes get message saying IP address is not accessible. Works fine one day then next day it doesn't. Very inconsistent. Doesn't seem to matter if using over wifi or not.

Redline. Like any other network device proper network configuration is required. The problem with 3G is that on network with 300kbps and low port 80 seems to give problem, you solve the issue by changing the port to anything from 83-95. Port 80 is the default port. it those not mean that it always work. The lack of proper configuration those cause this type of incovenience making the device look bad. Try my advice and I hope this help F.

Keeps losing information. When it works its cool. However it keeps losing my security system info so I have to re-load my info. Drives me crazy!!

Its good but not so good. Sometimes i can open and see my cctv... But right now its always gets re-directed to safari for nothing...please repair!!

It doesn't work over 3G. It´s not working on my 3G network, (in fact is 3.5G, everything else works perfectly, so I´m sure it´s not a bad connection)

EagleEyeslite. It's ok. It doesn't have the best quality, even when you set it on the best.

Not working. Keeping getting an error that the firmware is updating. It's been happening for about a month and still not working.

Error. This app is an excellent way to watch your security. Never had any troubles. This app deserves a 5 star rating. The only reason I haven't given the 5 star rating is to gain the attention of the makers. Since the last upgrade on 15th February 2013, I get an error everytime I open the app. The error says "The network isn't available". I'm not sure what this really means. But I hope you guys fix it in the next update. Again, definitely a 5 star app!!

Ok. I've used this APP for 12 months no problem until the updated screwed up all 3G, 4G and LTE connectivity.

Didn't last one day working on 3G. Downloaded update last night. Didn't work for 3G last night, but tried again this morning and works. Now tonight it doesn't with 3G Needs another update.

Update is bad. Since you did the update I can’t open cameras in full screen. This needs to be fixed ASAP as the old app would allow me to tap on any camera to make it full screen.

Customer service?. If we've bought their hardware then we should be entitled to more than a lite version. And where are all those firmware updates they promote so much? Now, like others, I can't reach my box via 3G. Swell. I'm gonna remember this when I update my surveillance.

Garbage. This app only works to view your home CCTV while you are at home. So what's the point? It isn't a Wifi prob, since it won't work on wifi away from home.

I can view my camera. But that is all.

best app out there... to date. I install cctv systems for a living... this avtech system is the best hands down...quad view and motiin activated playback on iphone...the problem is the cheesy (poor english) advertising that was introduced with the latest update, its low class and unnecessary.

Great product. I'm a installer/end user all my customers and I love eagle eye. I've never had a problem using port 100.

No good update!. Same problem as everybody else it seems! Lost video after the last update, logs on fine, but then it only shows a blank screen. Old version running on iphone works perfect.

Don't work. I updated Jan 4 and it doesn't work anymore.... Sent emails to tech support and no answer....would be nice to have my cameras accessible while traveling...pretty ticked... Pleads fix it app!!!!!

No audio etc. Just updated the app now it has no audio, still doesn't work on 3G and stutters on wifi. It worked great 5 months ago!! Please restore to that version!

Downgrade Process. Please can I downgrade to previous version as this new one doesn't load all my cameras and also doesn't change the monitor as was available on the previous version ?

Video Playback Through App Is No Longer Clear As Use To Be. EagleEyes video playback is no longer clear like it use to be on all of my Avtech installations. Record Steam is selected in EagleEyes, and video streaming is turned up to it's highest setting. My customers hate that there playback use to be clear but now it's not anymore. These are features that would be the winning functions when giving estimates to new customers. Now I can't even remote into systems when I advertise at a customers store or home without asking them there wifi passwords, which is unprofessional. Please set it up the way it was before and to work with Tmobile + IOS 10.2. This is very bad for business and customers are getting upset.

Much better. This version at least supports my avc761 but the touch feature DOES NOT WORK. you need to manually change cams to view them separately Will not purhase full until they fix this.

Upgrade no good!. The program is great but the latest upgrade today killed my cameras. Now I can't bring up any camera images and just get a blank screen. Help!

Works great!. You must understand how this system works. If you set it up with a wifi and web connection, it will conflict with error. IP address is other issue. Get a DNS account. Everything will work great.

Awesome App. works perfect on botj wifi and 3g with my Iphone4. I think many of the bad teviews is due to incorrect settings. wifi and 3g use diff settings and usernames n PW's and the IP's are also diff. very simple to use.

Waste money. Since updated it's cost me more money messed up my router had to reconfig ipadresses again with new network name unbelievable keeps saying up addresse error and updating app. Wth like seriously

Works very well. I love this app. It allows me to view my CCTV cameras when I'm home and on the road. BTW, the default account/password is "admin/admin". Thank you, EagleEyes!

Not Working. The update 2 days ago was meant to just fix some bugs, but the App on my Iphone 8+ has stopped working properly. I hear sound, but the video is just a black screen. I have the latest version of IOS. Need a fix asap please.

Good software, with some room for improvement.. Overall the app is pretty good. Playback and settings should be adding into future versions. Also the interface can be improved, better use of multi-touch can be implemented.

Not working after update. My previous version was working perfectly for years, but now after i update it to the current version it doesnt work at all. It didnt even open correctly, it just crash and close the app by itself. Anyone have any fix for me?? I have 4 locations i have to monitor :(

Great app !. Easy to setup on LAN and net / snapshot to file would be handy. Works better with static ip and setting the port to a higher number : like 500.

Dodgy!!!!!!. When I purchased my cctv recorder the decision was based upon being able to use this app. 2 years of use and then they updated the app and crippled a number of key features that used to work, to promote their paid app.

Doesn't work for this Avtech customer. I cannot access my AVC760 either. All I get is error messages. Support for this app seems to be non-existent. The support link just takes you to their Products page.

Not working on iPhone last update. Great app but since last update no longer works in iPhone. I'm running an iPhone 6 with os 9.2.1 I connected on a Samsung and it works ok. Please fix for iPhone asap and I'll amend my review rating accordingly.

Unable to login. Suddenly stop us login to the app, saying that user is wrong or authority is insufficient, but we haven’t changed the password for ages.

The iPhone version of this software is rubbish. The iPhone version of this software is rubbish. On the same system as the iPad hd version that does work, the iPhone version doesn't. Unless you plan on monitoring with an iPad, don't buy any system that relies on this software. We get constant IP address not available errors when the wizard discovers the camera server but fails to work.

Issues with controlling the LED light. Last update has screwed up the LED light when the push video option is turned off the LED light is always on no way to turn it off! Hope next update will fix this!

Best free surveillance app. Sharp image, smooth video, multiple-ch view, live audio, playback search, ptz control, and ivs push notification...everything above are all included and FREE. Great app!!

Playback. What happened to playback? I can see the push events but what about time search and all events?

Green Screen When Viewing Single Camera. Since the last update, I can still view multiple cameras but I cannot view a single camera as the screen turns green. Initially suspected iOS 10 update but I believe it Eagle Eyes & Eagle Eyes Plus latest updates. Please fix as I used to love this App. Tks.

Terrible. Ive used this security system for 10+ years and it’s never been reliable. It’s currently not working for the past few weeks so I’ll be replacing it with a better system.

Better Than Using A Mobile Browser. The video is not 100% clear, as it would be on a monitor for example, but for an iPhone app it's A+.

Poor interface. Bad design, it's like trying to solve a puzzle in order to get to the basic functionality of viewing recordings. Like getting into a car with no steering wheel and then you need to dream up/figure out that the manufacturer put it in the glove box.

PTz video black. On iPhone I can use/control PTz camera. But on iPad, I can see ptz-video on multi-camera mode, not on single PTz-video. The screen is black and I see the PTz controls on the bottom. What is causing this problem?

Good but strange issue. It works great but has a issue changing the camera stream from 4cif to cif lowering the quality on all future logins. Then I have to log in from a computer to fix it.

Current upgrade rendered App useless!. Recent upgrade causes app to crash! Emailed company twice and no answer. Now I have no way to monitor my cameras through my iPhone. Thx Avtech for a sub standard app update. Been recently changed contacted via email to someone in Taiwan. Wanted my DVR login information?? The problem is the app! Not my DVR. This update was supposed fix the Recorded Playback function. I guess while they fixed that, the Live Video got messed up. Look at the App Avtech. It's not an issue with my DVR. Also if I use my web browser to login it works fine! It's the App!
