FAKE NEWS. Wow! All the FAKE NEWS in one place. All the fake liberal medias like CNN, New York Times, CNBC, Washington Post and so on. Useless app for a mindful person. Useful for brainwashing citizens in all their fake agenda.

Yes We Did!. News feeds are cool. Hope the president, or his staff, get to read some of the fourms. Nice touch. Sound bites and pics round out the app, a keeper.

Pointless; Waste of Money; Gimmicky. This app is nothing but a gimmick by the developer(s) to get people to pay to show support for their political beliefs. There isn't anything in this app that is worth .99-cents. You get some backgrounds, but I prefer flowers to Obama's (albeit handsome) face - it't not even election time. If it were, I would probably use one of the wallpapers. The "news" is nothing but peope ranting on the Topix forums - mostly republicans - and if you don't feel like arguing it's not the place for you. I expected forums for like-minded people to discuss common interests. It's simply not worth it even for .99, as it's clearly a gimmick to get people to show "support" when in fact, the only people you're supporting by purchasing this app is the developer and Apple. There's a reason why the Republican purchases vastly outweigh the Democrat purchases; and for the record, I bought this through another at (TapFish) to get in-game incentives (FishBucks). In hidesight, I should have just paid for some FishBucks!

It's ok. I like that the app gives your rep info but it lacks the local numbers and addresses. This would be a major improvement. Over all it's a nice app to have for active voters. Bad thing the message boards are completely over run by tea party crazies and racist republicans.

Love it......but. Great app and I love the news feed. Does amyone know how to get the NPR audio to work? Error message on wi-fi even with an active connection. Yes we can!

Pretty good. Could use a few more sources, but decent at keeping out the more odious corporate talking points out of your information source.

Not based on ideals. Just interface. This app has potential to be a good news source for things going on in the Democratic party, but the interface is just not good. The layout is unappealing and at certain times confusing. Not to mention the news feed doesn't let you read the entire story. I might as well just go to CNN for most of those stories. This app needs to do a complete overhaul on interface as well as give party specific news(that's why we download it). It should give info such as upcoming elections with background info. on the candidates (both local and national elections), what Obama's administration is currently working on, the democratic campaign trail, ect. And it needs to do it with user friendly interface. That's one of the main reasons proudrepub. has 4x more users. The democrats need to stay informed now more than ever, so please fix this app.

Good news aggregator. I use both the conservative and liberal versions of this news aggregator. Easy to read news from both points of view.

Terrible app. This app does not even cover right liberal news and is also stupid as hell

Interesting. I downloaded this to find a place to read News that wasn’t so tainted by Right wing media bias. I didn’t realize I would have to subscribe to separate companies to read the articles. I don’t think this is practical or feasible for most people including myself. I think this concept is excellent. However, now they need to bring all these more “liberal” News sources together under one umbrella and charge one flat monthly fee. It should be under $10 per month. By charging separately for each different company you’re nickel & dining people to death. Democrats keep saying they want to engage more young and minority voters. MAKE the online liberal News FREE to Millennials & Generation Z voters! I’m not that age, but I would have no issue with this.

Proud democrat. A great resource. I read it everyday. Not just about articles it has tools to keep track of bills and congressmen. Highly recommended.

Best Iphone app ever. I used to be a greedy fat cat republican until I downloaded this app and realized i was unenformed and was brainwashed by the Republican Ministry of Propaganda and Mud Slinging.

Very Disappointing. If this app had forums that consisted of constructive criticism instead of the constant Obama bashing, I would give this app 5 stars because the FACTUAL parts of this app are great. If I wanted to read the trashy opinions of the republican party there are many free sites I can go to. It's like high school kids going at each other on here and I'm seriously considering deleting this app from my iPod because it's just too pathetic.

Need to update the count of users on the front page more often/There is no way people are subscribing to the Republican app so much more than this one/Need up to the minute stories and a section devoted to all of the upcoming elections in 2012/no more stories on palin or trump PLEASE

Alert! This app seems to be ran by republicans!. I want to be a well informed citizen. I read across the political spectrum, so I downloaded both proud republican and proud democrat. After four weeks researching material presented on each, my conclusion is a proud republican run both apps. The views presented on both apps favor republican thinking. Proud republican represent the far right. Proud democrat represent the moderate right. Hopefully someone will develop a true democratic app. Long story short. This App is not a authentic Democratic app.

Slow loading. This app is a great source for those looking for current legislation, your representative, and senators. There is a ton of info which seems to overload the app and really slow it down to nearly unusable states. The RSS feed can be filtered but not the other features.
