Printing frustrations due to app limitations. I sent this email to Epson, and I’m posting it here too. I’m feeling frustrated right now. I bought the Epson eco tank 2720 thinking I would be saving myself money in the long run by being able to print out my children’s curriculum. Well I went to print something out today and after 100 pages were already printed I realized several of the pictures were not printing. I used the print option from my phone instead of the Epson iPrint, because the Epson app is annoying. I want to print back to front and I would literally have to print one page at a time. It doesn’t allow me to just print even or odd or select just the pages I want to print. Since my printer doesn’t do double sided printing this is problematic. I ended up printing one page from the Epson iPrint that my regular phone printing app messed up, and the Epson iPrint did it correctly. However, this was not encouraging, because of what I previously stated. It will take me way too long and be too much work to bother printing it out. So I ended up buying curriculum I shouldn’t of had to buy. Your app needs fixed ASAP!!

Epson WF3720. I had an Epson WP4530 (big few hundred $$$ workhorse) for years but it slowly moved into old age and began displaying some “printer arthritis” (little aches and pains some days and not others) until it finally gave up the ghost a couple weeks ago. Since it was so great for so long I looked only at Epsons and was blown away at how prices have come down. Decided on the WF3720 for $70 (free shipping, of course). Yes, it takes the smaller ink cartridges but at a saving of a few hundred dollars I figured I’d go that way this time. A few hundred dollar saving will buy a lot of ink! Yes, I can tell the printed copy from the perfect original but for my needs now (mostly recipes and knitting patterns, an occasional form or receipt) it does an amazingly beautiful job. The color is better and more exact to my iPad screen on the red vest I just printed out than it was on the WP4530. This one factor alone, is why I sat down and wrote out this review. (First time I’ve ever done a review for a purchased product). I’m 80, not as technology savvy as most and I can tell you the set-up was a breeze. Just took it one step at a time. Was delighted when the first test sheet printed saying “PASS” on every detail. 🤗👏👍

Would like to see feature to change feed. I have a WF-3520. One feature I would like added to the app would be the ability to change the feed. So if you wanted to print a envelope using the rear feeder you could easily do it without needing to go into the settings on the computer. I find if I don’t do it a lot I find it’s like Where’s Waldo to navigate to the where to change the paper feed selection. If you could easily do it using this app it would be so much better. Also it should have the ability to input the addressee’s address, and the ability to have saved the addresser’s address.

Bad luck with printers. I have been through a lot of printers over the years and most all of them have an hp on the front. They may last a year or two, then they stop working. I purchased my Epson eco-tank ET-2500 more than 5 years ago, and it has not failed me yet. Only had to add black ink once since that time. Great color prints as well.

Time consuming. When I print it requires that the app stay front and center on my screen. When I put the app in the background to look at a different screen the app stalls printing until the app is forefront again. So if I have a large print job it ties up my iPad until it is finished printing. This is quite inconvenient and I don’t understand why in this day and age something like that is required. You should be able to print your documents and then push the app into the background so that you can get other work done. This is not productive at all.

Works great on the phone. Although I’d give Epson a much worse rating for their Mac software, their mobile app is pretty great. Works with my Epson ET-4760 and prints like a dream. So far all of the features I’ve used work with no issues and it’s fairly easy to use. Way better than HP Smart (which is garbage IMO). The only downside is my MacBooks recent upgrade to Monterrey caused all sorts of issues with their drivers on both of my Mac’s. I tried all of their “suggested” fixes from their support pages and no dice. I can now print from some apps, but some apps error every time. Just be aware, in the event that you have a Mac and upgrade to Monterrey. Until they get that fixed, I’ll probably print exclusively from my Windows PC and my phone. That aside, this app is excellent!

Great item. I’ve had this printer for years and it always printed good but I could not be sure it would work for me when I really needed it to work. Now days I love it because I took time to cover all problems and found solutions. Epson print app works flawlessly now, or iPhone print or from my chrome book or hp laptops. Sky’s the limit!!!!!!!!!!!! When iCloud quits leaves in December I hope it will stay with me using WiFi. Whatever happens, I really love this machine and will stick with it. Looks good too. And sturdy. 😄😄😄😄😄

EPSON ET 2800 printer. So far the EPSON ET 2800 has been great. I truly enjoy the refillable ink tanks which are easy to refill and provide many more prints than my previous HP printer. The costs for the ink cartridges are much less than the costs I used to pay for my HP printer. The print quality is excellent and having the wireless connectivity is very convenient. The one drawback is the menu screen is too small to be of any use. It could stand to be much larger especially for older folk like myself. Nevertheless I am satisfied

Worst printer ever. This has to be the worst printer on the market. The instructions are terrible and almost impossible to get set up or even print a document. In saying that we have owned this for a year and have not printed a single piece of paper. We tried to take this printer back but could not return it. We are trying to make this work for about the 4th, finally got it to print and now the paper jams every time. This seriously has to be the worst printer on the market. I would never purchase another Epson product this is so frustration

Could be better. This app has been helpful as far as giving me more options printing from my iPhone vs the basic built in options. For that I give it 3 stars. However it would be a lot better with some basic functions added such as shrink/enlargement %, or print “actual size” options. I’m not talking about pinching and pulling touch control settings that result in inconsistencies, I want an actual numerical value scale that allows me to shrink or enlarge something by 25% or 50% etc. It also has this annoying thing where it doesn’t know how to override the printers presets, so I have to make it match the printers settings, it should just let me control those options as a one off from my phone without any aggravation.

Great Printer At A Great Price. I have owned several HP printers that just suddenly stopped working. My last one was complicated to operate and burned through paper and ink with repetitive, useless suggestions. I had prepaid for the Epson WF 4830 based on reviews. And was very disappointed when I went to pick it up at Office Depot and it wasn’t there. Fortunately, there was one 3820 available. I’m very happy with it and I saved money if I can get my PayPal account straightened out.

Best Printer I’ve Had. At first I was a little frustrated with the printer not waking up when I sent something over Wi-Fi. Then I actually read the manual and discovered the Epson iPrint App! Now it prints without me having to restart most of the time. Good quality, handles paper without jamming all the time as long as the settings are correct, software update reminders, ink level warnings, and separate color tanks make this printer convenient and economical to use. Do take the time to learn how to use its features though. You’ll save yourself a lot of frustration.

Works great once I got it set up. This printer is exactly what I needed. I mainly needed a copy machine, but having print capabilities from my iPad is an extra bonus. The built-in Wi-Fi is perfect since I don’t have home Wi-Fi Reason for 4 stars is lack of info in accompanying instruction manual. Out of the box I couldn’t even make a copy (I don’t qualify as as tech savvy). After an hour on the phone with (very patient) service rep it has performed flawlessly so far (2 weeks).

Really hard to set up to wi-fi. I’ve tried several times to connect to my wi-fi and it kept telling me my password was wrong and it was not. After speaking with technical support many times and even to my internet provider, I returned the printer and got a new one of the same model thinking it was defective. The new one had the same problem. I had to speak with a technical supervisor and she finally found the problem. We had to restore default settings and only then go through the Wi-Fi wizard. Very complicated! Besides that, the commands shown are really small to see and they change all the time between arrow, diamond and ok buttons. Overall, not user friendly at all. Not even your technicians understand it (and the technicians English is so hard to understand)

Epson Quality. Printers have been hard to find so I was shocked to find no epson printers for sale. I bought a cheaper printer which looked and felt like a toy. Failed right out of the box. I found the Epson online and ordered it immediately. As soon as I got it, the box seemed heavy. My old WF 2540, never failed me. But the paper feeder was broken and was perched on wooden blocks which were ever slipping around. My new printer is doing a fantastic job. A customer who loves Epson printers!

Good App for iPad, Easy to Set up Initially, Better than PC, Could use some UI/UX Improvement. 4 solid stars because this was super easy to download, connect to my Epson 4750 via Bluetooth, and immediately get started printing and scanning. It misses 5 stars because the UI/UX could use improvement...it is either impossible or not user-friendly to add additional pages to a scanned document, for example...you can only scan a one-page document under certain conditions. I’m sure that will improve as future versions of the software are released. I can fix those problems by using my PC Epson app—however, on my PC it takes longer to connect to the printer and is generally more clumsy. so I will most likely use my iPad as much as possible with my Epson printer, then pull out the PC when the iPad app falls short (which hopefully won’t be too often.)

Working Okay except no Documents. I’ve had this for a while and didn’t have any trouble setting it up and finding my Epson printer. I can print my photos and it works fine. I do have one problem and that is I am unable to print any documents. I’m assuming they would be in the print document’s directory but there is nothing there and I don’t know how to put them in that directory. I would like to print some of my emails and documents that I receive so maybe you could help me out so I can fix the problem.

Access to most-needed Print settings from iPhone. This app from Epson comes to the rescue, albeit just for Epson-brand printers on your local WiFi network. It performs most printing tasks quickly, and with access to most of the Epson printers’ features that one is used to seeing when printing from a computer, using Epson’s installed printer drivers. IPhone users will agree that Apple’s iOS-embedded Print command provides only the most rudimentary access to printer features, almost regardless of printer brand. Particularly annoying is trying to print full page images on 8-1/2 x 11“ paper from a Letter-size paper tray. On my Epson Artisan 730 Multi Function Printer, using Apple’s Print command, the images from my camera roll will want to print using the much smaller paper feed for cut-size Photo paper. Since I don’t leave any paper in that feed slot except when I specifically want to use it, the image will ignore the Letter-size paper loaded in that tray, and simply not print. So, since I also have printers from other brands on my LAN, I find I need to also have iOS print apps for their printers installed on my iPhone, to access their fuller set of print commands. I have to say this app from Epson will tip my future printer purchases in their favor, so that I will be able to see my multiple Epson printers and select their features from a single printing app. Good job, Epson !

Epson all-in-one printer. Excellent printing. Professional quality. Cares for, lasts many years, while still working flawlessly and printing quality remains in phases. Slightly problematic in using with Apple products, ie phone, laptop, but Epson works its way around that with companion app. Just need to jump thru a few extra hoops, but doable. Certainly a hearty, machine performing flawless photo, and lesser jobs, for a really decent price. High quality output throughout its life. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Keeps getting better. It can be a little trickier to figure out how to print to my Epson printer from my iPhone or iPad than it might have been to an Apple Air print printer, but I already owned this printer when I started using my devices for everything. And that’s a while now. So I’ve been using Epson iPrint for a while now. At the start, I couldn’t seem to print some types of documents, but they keep improving it and now I can pretty much print anything I like. The printer still works, too, which is pretty impressive in this day of throw away tech. Thanks, Epson!

Love it!. I am so happy with my new Epson printer. I am really green about technology, but I have no problem figuring it out. Took me a while, but seems to be working great. I live in an area with very poor reception, but I have managed to use my laptop and my iPhone to print with little signal. It’s unfortunate you can’t speak with anyone in customer service. I recommend this printer so far, I have always had an HP ended up switching because of performance.

Incredible customer support. The customer service is so extraordinary that I am sure I will never replace my Epson printer with any other company. I have had Espson printers for more than a decade and the support has never disappointed. My printer is user friendly and works very well, but it’s the customer service that differentiates it from other good printers I’ve used.

Nice try, but not good at all.. It was a HUGE struggle trying to connect my Epson 2400 Printer to any device. For example, we had to navigate through so many apps, and we only found one out of many that decently works. Still, it was super annoying to deal with, and the quality isn’t even that good. The colors are dull, foggy, and have random black marks on random parts of the paper. Everything seems to print out pretty small, but I guess I have to toy around even more to figure that out myself. Overall, I have not had a good experience whatsoever using this printer, and I hope we can get a new one soon that works effectively. (I guess that’s that little harsh. Not really.)

Looked forever to find correct printer. I looked and looked to find a program that would be compatible with my printer and didn’t cost extra money and it was right in front of me!! My Epson air printer had a program to download and I can now choose the correct measurement for my print and it’s so awesome!! Thank you so much Epson!! I won’t look elsewhere anymore. You were right here the whole time!!!

Wonderful program for printing. I love the possibilities Epson print provides for me in printing out my pictures. I can crop them just by expanding them with my fingertips to print only the section that I select. And it is very useful to me that I can easily print 2-up or 4-up on the page. The print quality is excellent!

Awesome!. Every time I needed something printed I would have to email it to my husband and ask him to print it. He’s away during the week so I can only really do that on the weekends. It’s absolutely amazing to be able to pull up documents on my phone, send them to the printer and have it printed immediately.

App is frustrating. I was super excited about my new printer until I realized I had to use the app from my phone in order to print everything. I have a lot of pictures and files in my computer NOT phone and the only way I see to print is emailing it to my printer. Who seriously has time to sit and email 1 picture at a time. That being said as far as the app goes. Everytime I have poor connection (which is a lot in the room we have the printer) or someone calls my phone or it is used for something else (like listening to podcasts, using the internet, checking email etc. it has an error with printing then wastes a photo paper. You can’t use your phone while printing photos. Even if you have like 30 to print which takes a while.

Rodin ET 2760. My Hewlett-Packard printer cartridge got stuck down inside the machine. I took it in for repair and they couldn’t help me. I saw the new Epson ET 2760 and I fell in love. I brought it home hooked it up I can print from my desktop my iPhone I just absolutely love it I can scan to how wonderful. But the best part is the ease of filling the toner no mess no muss no fuss and the cost is perfect and the amount of pages you can print from the toner is phenomenal!!!! The price was good to thank you Epson hopefully I’ll have many years with this new printer Jessie L Michigan

Good for at home; slow, noisy and obscure directions. I found directions online; the menu on the small LCD screen is difficult to remember what it is you wish to find. The exterior buttons should be in a well lighted place as it is hard to see and distinguish. Air printing is iffy from some apps so that the Epson app is necessary. Print quality is excellent and other than the difficulty of getting used to its ways I find it to be a value. The scanner and cheap ink is a plus.

Nothing but the best. So nice to print from anywhere in the house. No more need to get up and turn the printer on and stand next to it and wait. I’ve never kept up with modern technology but feel very fortunate to have a printer AP that was easy to set up and very easy to understand and use. I would suggest anyone that uses this model of printer to use this AP.

Great the first print. I will start with the fact that I don’t have WiFi in my home. I use my iPhone for anything I need to connect. This app is great the first time it is set up for printing and you can print anything you want on the first setup. If you want to print anything after an extended period of not printing, it errors out with incorrect password and I have had to delete the app and completely setup the app again as if it were the first time using the printer. I bought the printer expressly because I don’t have WiFi and want to print from my iPhone without WiFi. Something about the printer, this app and the iPhone software causes the “password” to be incorrect on subsequent uses even though the password in the phone shows exactly what the printer displays. Might need to improve that aspect of the app.

Love my EPSon. I love my EPSon Printer Wi-Fi 3520. It does everything. I can fax, scan and print remotely. When I had any issues, I could get on-line to the EPSon web-site and get assistance. I have recommended my Printer to numerous friends and co-workers. I will always be a loyal customer to Epson’s line of products. It was one of my best investments along with my computer. Scan Features Need An Update. The scan part of this app is poor and lacks much of the settings of the Mac app. For example you can only scan up to 300 DPI when the Mac app will scan 600 and 1200. Epson told me 2 years ago that they were about to release a brand new app that would have better scanning options. Obviously that was not true. This app would be great if it supported the same scanner features as the Mac app. Since I’ve been pretty much paperless for about 10 years, I do very little printing with my WF-4740 and a lot of scanning and it’s sad that this app just has very basic and low resolution scan features.

Impossible to connect to printer. When opened on its own, the app loads and connects easily to a printer. But that’s of little value, as nobody stores documents through the native app. Instead, we use the Share function -> Epson iPrint function. But I can’t print here because it says no printer is connected, despite the printer being connected when the app is opened from the Home Screen (see first paragraph). All attempts to connect here fail because the app somehow cannot find the printer. So taken together, it’s not practical to use this app to print, hence the 1 star review.

Best printer ever. I am so over looking for the best price on a printer, because the ink costs are inversely proportional to the printer’s price. With Epson, you pay for the best quality printer and the ink lasts an amazingly long time. With the Epson app I can print quickly from my iPhone- anything that I want to send or save on my phone, the Epson icon shows up to give the print option.

Nifty little printer. I have an older iPad that won’t work with the iPrint software. Well this printer solves that problem plus i was able to use it to print from my phone! The printer will automatically convert an excel or word doc to pdf and prints perfectly. It’s fast and for an added bonus the ink lasts 1000 times longer than my old HP printer. And costs A LOT less. I love this printer!

Please take back this printer. ET-4760. I used HP for over twenty years. I never had to use it through an app, or spend hours on the phone figuring out how to use it. never had to call the company every six months because it just stops working. I never had to call a company and spend hours on the phone figuring out how to use their app. I never had HP tell me it was the fault of my Apple app. I have been using computers since 1979 and this printer has broken me. Never have I ever said that about a computer, printer or app before. I only kept it because my husband bought it for me last Christmas. So now I have had it for a year, hardly used it at all and cannot return it. It was expensive. I hate this printer so much I want to throw it out the window and buy a HP. OK, maybe it is not the printer’s fault that they added this app. Maybe it is just a horrible app that is messing up the printer. If only I could use the printer without the app. If only I could turn back time and tell my husband, “Quick, Get that messed up printer out of my house NOW”

What is the point of this app?. I downloaded it because suddenly I could print from the rear tray (from my phone) after the latest iOS 16 update. Still doesn’t appear to be an option. Can’t find any info about it. Also, how do I print without borders? Now, because of borders, it is making my image smaller. What about scaling the PDF? Doesn’t seem like an option either. This is my busiest time of the year and as a small business owner, I do not recommend Epson. It is nothing but issues and costs me more money than necessary. This printer uses color ink magically when all I use is black ink, so I constantly have to buy it. This roadblock comes at the worst possible time. Do not buy Epson, then you won’t need this pointless app.

Always ask for location and always paper Jam. Every Epson printer I ever own including my ET 4750 has been a paper Jam machine. Also why does it keep asking me for my location? Back in the days we had printers with all of the same functionalities as printers of today and yet, they worked without asking for location. Linking the functionality of a product to the location of the user is a dumb idea because the more access to the GPS, the quicker the battery drains. And then there is the privacy issue. That’s why I give this review a one star. I wish more people will do the same so companies like Epson can start making smart products again.

Epson XP-830. I’ve used the EPSON brand for a while now, I got the XP-830 Back when I was 18 years old. I am now 24 and it’s been 6 years since I bought my printer and it still works like new. It always gives me quality prints. I have a side gig and I remaster old videos and I make them into DVD’s and with this printer I print on the DVD’s and my photos always come out looking professional. If you are starting a business or just looking for a printer for your hobby, EPSON is the printer to go with!

Don’t buy Epson. I just lost my two Epson printers because they monitored my printers and asked me if I want to upgrade my printer which I agreed to and then they destroyed the printer from far so I cannot use replacement cartridges this total loss of privacy is unbelievable how can you buy something from a company and they monitored from Japan or someplace and then they disable it never buy Epson it will be a big loss for you. I cannot even express in words how angry I am. Not only you would lose your printer in the future because they have the capacity from far to disabled it but you also are supporting horrible behavior from a company towards the customers They are welcome to destroy printers in the country of Japan but to come here and do this to American people is just horrific. There is a massive lawsuit against him which I hope I will join about this behavior Advise you’re not to even get close to anything made by absence

Disorganized: free consulting from a recently fired 78 year old consulting engineer with 97 patents. While trying to print a Docusign Fidelity document for a RMD from my IRA, right in the middle, the EpsonPrint app asked me to review and accept NEW terms and conditions for using it so I wouldn’t suddenly reengineer and sell their software, and to absolve you from any screw ups that might cause me to lose data, information, or money. Took 3 tries to complete my task because the Docusign app (also stupid) kept timing out. Why not instead set a bit somewhere in memory at the FIRST acceptance of terms and conditions? Then when a user enters to do a new print job and there are pending NEW terms and conditions, complete the print job and THEN insert “To continue using the app, please review and/or accept the revised terms and conditions”. Having once accepted, would likely accept again, take a chance, “Give the poor slob one more print job, then ask.” If not accepted, then clear the bit. Russian Proverb: ‘Common sense is not common’.

Unknown Sorcery. I don’t know why my printer only works using the app but I’m grateful! I get so frustrated trying to connect it to my internet despite so many attempts over the past 5 years. My latest frustrations have left me pondering at the thought of throwing the printer off my 3rd floor apt balcony, taking a hammer to every inch of it’s entirety, and even drowning it in a tub full of water. My hatred for electronics not working runs deep. But I found this app and I feel that it is evident that it saved this printer’s life! Thank you, Epson witch or warlock for making this app for the electronic illiterate!

Decent Printer with link probs. When the printer is linked to my device it works great. Yet I find myself having to unplug the printer and reset the IP address too many times. It was very frustrating in the beginning because the instructions on how to look up the IP are nonexistent After the 10th time and much cursing at it -I’m a pro now. Nice unit works well. Keep extra 302XL ink packet with you and keep an eye on your device linkage per IP address. Also, the default paper tray is NOT the standard paper. YOU have to go into settings and update the settings to standard tray and standard paper size on EVERY Device you have linked to the printer. Guess it was sleepy day at Corporate when they did the demo and testing on this printer. Us Real People gotta figure it out.

Low budget printing made easy with Epson app. I shoot with a Fuji X100V. I love the idea of printing my photos, and this app helps me do so more efficiently on the Epson ET-2760. On iPhone, printing to the printer on the network using iPhone’s built in print functiona doesn’t work well (colors are incorrect). The Epson app fixes this, and allows you to print multiple pages and files at the same time. Only thing I wish is that there was a way to open files that exist elsewhere on the phone, such as the Files app or Owl Files.

Not Good at This Stuff. I am challenged in the area of following directions and setting up anything that has to do with technology. I unpackaged the printer, I followed the directions and I connected it to my laptop and downloaded the app to my iPhone. I did a test run of everything and it worked. The trays are flimsy, but for my use, they are fine. Only needed a printer for emergency use only. Traveling a lot and may need to scan or print things on the road. Took me an hour. It would take a normal person 15 minutes.

Difficult app. I really dislike this printer. My previous one I could just go to my pictures and print. With this printer I have to use and app that constantly tells me my paper isn’t correct. When I go to print another picture the app takes me back to the latest picture I took instead of back to the section I was printing from. It’s incredibly time consuming and so far after I have been through two different printers, I haven’t been happy with the print quality. Just very frustrating.

Epson Happy. I always bought expensive HP printers, inkjet & laser. I print a lot of colored schedules, picture word cards for my Autistic son. I also print documents, return labels… I do not print weekly. But when I do it can be a lot at one time. This printer does everything I need it to do. You need to follow the instructions. Once you figure out wifi set up, iPrint app, print quality, you will get a quality print. This Epson Workforce Pro WF-3820 was one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time. I did my research, went to different stores, & read reviews. It paid off. The cartridges are costly but it’s worth it for my use. At some point I will invest in an inkjet that has more colored cartridges for photos .

Exactly what I needed. I bought my Epson xp-830 a few years ago and it’s a great printer. I never downloaded the software that goes with it (storage reasons) I just always used a cord to connect to my laptop. For whatever reason this simple thing turned into a hassle. I couldn’t scan anything...! THEN I found this app. 🙌🏻 I cannot express how much this app has made my life EASIER and hassle free. I can check my printer ink levels on the app, and order my ink cartridge directly from the app! This app is everything.

Terrible printer. This printer has not performed well at all since after a few months after I got it. Quality has never been that great on items that I print regardless of how many times I clean the print heads, after only a few pages of printing the ink is already low even though I buy the extended ink cartridges, and it acts like a printer from the 80s with how much time it needs to “prepare for printing” sometimes taking as long as ten minutes to begin printing something off. I would not recommend an Epson to anybody if they are looking to avoid these types of issues.

Amazing!!. So easy to set up and use for a computer challenged person like myself. Thank you for making it so easy and intuitive!!!

Not the best. I had trouble connecting to wifi. Difficult to print from apple devices. The paper tray at the top is very out dated. Prints slow. Needs a screen. Takes too long to start up. It does serve my needs for home office printer... although I hope there are several improvements in the next model. Other than me being picky, this is a great quality printer once you work it out. Compact and light, so perfect for home.

Frustrating. I have wasted a lot of time trying to find the scanned documents that were supposedly saved to my iPhone. They cannot be found in Files and are only discoverable from within iPrint. The only action available from within iPrint is print. I scanned in order to email. If I had wanted a copy, I would have just pushed copy on my printer/scanner.

It works. This is easy to use I was able to quickly connect and print a photo

Creepy app that needs precise location. A creepy app that poses as an app for your iPhone to print but won’t work unless you give it precise location access, why it needs it when I am at home is unexplained, but some creep is not getting my kids exact location for some app, remove this requirement or be labeled as a stalking app on people and kids, Epson and Canon apps insist on this

Quality printing from a device not good. When printing from a PC the print quality is fantastic as I am able to select “High” as the print quality but when printing from a device (iPhone or iPad) there are no print quality options, just standard, which means every time I print an image or photo there are horizontal lines. Very frustrating as it means I have to resort to a pc every time I want to print a photo or image, without lines. Not what I would expect from a printing app in 2023 so it would be great if this could be addressed. FYI, it is definitely not caused by the need to do a head nozzle clean. If it was I wouldn’t be able to print them correctly from a pc.

Connecting to the internet. 1. There is no complete easy to follow list of steps 2. Essential steps omitted. 3. After unpacking and setting up the printer: a. On the router press the WPS button (I tried to connect using wireless direct without pressing the WPS button and the printer would not connect). b. Then press the WiFi button for 7 seconds and hold it down c. Then press the 'i' button for seven seconds or more until the lights stop flashing e. Then press the 'i' button to print out you technical Epson printer identification information and PASSWORD I HAD 2 OTHER INCORRECT PASSWORDS PROVIDED while trying to connect to WiFi. Unpacking, setting up, connecting to WiFi and making 2 prints took about 4 hours, due to a lack of clear simple instructions. I use English. And iOS iPad Pro Even I just left out place the tablets and phones near the printer. Print quality from my L3150 is just OK. I dumped my HP Hewlett - Packard Printer, too much interference with HP overriding my use forcing me to change the ink cartridges when it was printing fine. I like the Epsom Ink system, but the instructions do not match the ink colour locations on the printer and due to the confined space where I set up I could not see the colour location diagram. Eventually I realised the connectors are fail safe, good idea but tell us in the instructions.

Epson W 100 wifi direct to I pad. Hi I needed to be able to do some printing whilst away and I used Epson I print it was so easy to obtain and install and the ease of use was amazing it made my life much less stressful. Thank you Epson. I don’t need to take my whole desk top computer and monitor yay. Learning new things everyday at my age cool.

Only use in App. It’s very annoying that you cannot leave the app to do other things on your phone such as make phone calls, work in other apps such as QuickBooks or look at emails while printing is occurring as some documents are very long.

Very easy to setup the printer. I can easily connect it to my smart phone and start using it right away 👍🏻👍🏻

My Epson Printer. I ask a lot from this little home printer and it never lets me down. Even though I am older, it is easy to use and maintain. Thanks Epson!

Lacking on Scan Options. I have had Epson home printers for a while, and have been using this app on my mobile devices for just as long. I find when scanning a multiple page document to send to the boss or accountant etc, I have to scan each page as an individual page, there is no option that I am aware of for multiple or even double sided documents (I’m currently using an Epson WF-2750 which I hate). The rest of the app is ok, but I use it mostly for scanning and emailing, and options in this are limited.

Punches well above it’s category. We’ve always had Epson inkjet printers are home and have never had any issues save for dried cartridges. The 340 keeps up to its name and is a great home printer for the occasional print or scan . The printing app also make its easy to send prints to the device through wifi. Would recommend this for general home use.

Difficult to setup, use and print.. Setup time approx. 2 - 3 hrs over 2 days. Need IT help. Hard to follow instructions given. Can’t just press print off your phone or computer, have to open their app and print through that. The quality of the print is excellent, but is frustrating to work with. Sorry.

WORSE PRINTER I have seen IN MY LIFE. First of all the customer service of epson is so rude, and not helpful , I was struggling with the setup from a month, they was totally ignoring your queries instead, they telling you read the manuals and do it, and call again , so you will ending up calling again and again to solve your issues, It has huge difficult and complicated installation, It is not compatible on every internet or Wifi , not compatible with 5G network, so it is useless in the new generation, It takes way much more ink than the other printers, itself without using any phone or tablet or any other devices or any applications, on other hand , in HP PRINTERS YOU can do that, in cheaper price, There are many disadvantages using EPSON PRINTER ET 2710 , SO FAR I have experienced There are many more, which I don’t want to experience, for not using and recommending anyone to use it ,

Useful app. Reasonably easy to use once you get your head around it. I love that I can use it from my devices, that’s super handy.

Bit of trouble loading ☹️. Tried loading using USB cable gave me problems but loaded over wi fi & Gr8 now 😊😘

Scan menu is awful. The scanner user interface is not helpful. It’s inconvenient to have to select to override or continue for every page, which is not helpful for when having to scan lots of papers. You can’t simply delete a page you either have to start over or use other third party software. When trying to look over scanned pages if you accidentally crop the page it won’t go back to the original size.

Question. What happened to the double sided print option on photos I can’t see it anywhere please

Quality and ease of printing. I have an Epson Sure Color P600 for printing my art cards. I’m delighted with the ease of importing the files through Epson iPrint and the print results are excellent quality. It gives me flexibility to vary the subjects on the cards according to the sales needs. I’ve paired the printer with an iPad Pro and Procreate artists program. An excellent system all round.

Print problems not happy with epson. Printer is absolutely bad,having issues with print after changing new catridges alloriginal ones from epson,issue with black print not working new printer only 4 month old and hardly used,spend money on buying catridges set from epson and end up near finish in head cleaning command in settings - very upset.

5 STARS 🥳🥳. It’s a great app, I must admit that I would of gave this app a 4.5 or a 3 but it’s been helping me to print out my homework since this isolation thing is going on. I gave it a 5 because it not only help me print out my thing but it helps my mum to print out maps for work, it recognises it pretty fast. Needs more options. Not really user friendly. Most of the time I want to print in monochrome at draft quality. This app makes you choose premium paper and good quality for printing images which is a waste of ink. The image needs to be accessed through the app rather than being an options from the photos. Glad to be able to print but wish it was easier to use and gave you more options.

Can’t print documents in landscape. This app is fantastic if you just want to print documents in portrait. Even though my original documents are in landscape on screen, they’ll only print out in portrait. Photos are fine. Can anyone help?

Printing through WiFi. We are trying to print from iPhones and iPads via WiFi. The instructions are impossible to follow. After 2 hours I contacted an IT expert. He could not work it out either and gave up after an hour.

Epson xp2105 wifi. I have had great success with this amazing device. Scanning and printing from mobile, tablet and notebook. It’s amazing value for money. Well done Epson. Keep up the great work.

Not very accurate. I’ve been using this app for about a year to print my digital drawings from my iPad to my SC-P800 Epson printer. I have to say I get more and more frustrated with it the more I use it. It would be helpful if there was a ruler / margins view so you could ensure the drawing printed to the correct dimensions and in the centre of the page.... I do try and set this us on the app I use to create the drawings so theoretically I just need to hit print and it should be right but I’d like to be able to double check it in the printing app once I’ve selected the appropriate paper sizes etc. I’ve often tried to line it up in the centre just visually (or comically using a real life ruler gently held against the iPad to check) but then when the image actually prints it’s off centre. Sometimes by a fair bit. Which is definitely not how it looked on the preview in the printing app. Very frustrating as the paper I use is very expensive per sheet and I have wasted so many sheets because of this - I sell my drawings and I can’t send my clients an off centre drawing.... I do like that I can print direct off my iPad using wifi though. That is handy. Just wish the app was more accurate.

Doesn’t work from web browser printing pdf/brochures and no apple iprint!. Difficult to give a good rating on what should be a good printer. Never works to print a pdf/form from browser, it just resets the link. Doesn’t support apple iprint (for photos etc or native printing). And if i leave it turned on it regularly starts printing garbage characters on a page and doesn’t stop unless i turn it off and leave it off. (Yes i tried to log a fault, they said is my wifi which i know is incorrect).

Great. I’m printing off pretty much every thing I see because this app makes it so easy to use and print even my children are using it and now they have colouring fo months 👍🥰

Nearly perfect. Can you please enable typing for printing on range or pages? Currently in iPad when not printing all , only + and - buttons are enabled. User cannot type page number. If the pages are in thousands then this is daunting task.

Very happy with my epdom xp400. Picked this up today from big W $79. Very easy to set up and also link my iPhones and iPads. I’ve never had this technology before. Replacement ink is $15 each so it’s also reasonably priced

Thumbs up. I’ve been trying to get my printer to connect for a while…I’ve tried so many different ways. I could have saved myself hours if I had got this app earlier! Brilliant!

Need more features. I’m using the app with the Ecotank ET-2710. Overall it works great on the phone via wifi direct. I would have given the app 5 star if not for the lack of features, please add more features in the upcoming updates since we print via the iphone a lot nowadays, in particular: Double sided printing, and print in reverse order(so that after printing a multi-page document, the first page will be on top)

Great but limited. It’s a great little app except that it doesn’t allow booklet printing. If I want booklet mode I have to use the PC as this feature is not available. I print lots of craft patterns from downloads on my iPad and phone and booklet is the feature I use the most.

Great to scan documents but. hope it can be connected to iPhone’s editing and more smoothly print my documents from pictures.

Easy Wireless printing. This has made direct printing so much easier. I do like to put my pics into Windows Paint so I can print two smaller ones per page, laminate and scatter them on the wall. This however makes it easier to put them directly into an A4 frame

File transfers required. On an iPad, One has to save the document to the Epson store system before it is possible to print. E.G. a pdf needs to be saved, one cannot just open the pdf from an email & select print. Quite a laborious system.

Printing Issues. Nothing ever works properly. Only way I seem to be able to print is if I connect printer first then have to find/retrieve document I want to print. Then there is nothing to alter settings so Doc prints using colour instead of me being able to select black & white only, 90% of my docs.

Avoid at all costs. You can’t print directly from any iOS document ( for example, from Pages software). You can only print through the Epsom app. The app also includes the docs from every other member of the household (albeit in locked folders) so security might be an issue if you fall out with any of them. It has taken me days to set up the printer. There must be better printers in the market. Avoid this one at all costs.

Reasonable for the money. Takes a while to get used to having to down load Epsom ap to drop files into to be able to print. A few times have issues printing from my IPhone 12 However I am happy with the quality of the documents printed I think somewhere it needs to have an update to iron out these issues.

My Epson printer. This is the most amazing economical printer I have ever purchased. This printer was first used in May 2019. I am still on the original ink supplied with the printer. The quality is outstanding. Most highly recommended to all of my friends and family.

Epson ET 2710 ECO Air Printer. First it’s a great printer for general work, I’ve lost count of how many pages I’ve printed, with only two or three print head cleaning. I’ve recently connected to air print which wasn’t all that difficult. Can recommend R.L

You get what you pay for. I rarely need to print at home so did not want to buy an expensive printer. This one does the job but it is very confusing to set up and use. Always takes me the better part of a day to get it to talk to my phone. It’s software is very limited, so it will not print pre-filled documents, just the original blank form, be it word, pdf or jpeg, regardless of how you save it Maybe spend a bit more on a more practical model.

This app saved my life. Dear Epson Developers, I am so glad you made this app because I could only wirelessly print via PC and I want to print from my iPad. At least it worked with my Epson Stylus Photo TX710W and that is why I got it

The way Epson IPrint. It really doesn’t work properly I tried to print something it didn’t even work properly then I had to print again three times till it worked really doesn’t work properly it really doesn’t

Pretty good but could use some extra capabilities. Such as airprint compatibility, and maybe just include a sticker label in front with useful but brief cues on using the buttons to, say, continue printing when interrupted by running out of new sheets of paper. Also,the web console doesn’t allow setting a static IP address on the WiFi, which can be useful for setting up print clients.

Photo quality ipad poor phone good. Printing photos and art on my ipad does not work out well regardless of if I use glossy or plain paper. They turn out very very dark and hard to distinguish. I have wasted a lot of materials trying to get it to print these better. When I use my phone the photos turn out perfect, bright and very clear. Puzzling! When following advice from other users it hasn’t improved at all. So very disappointing.

App and Printer are different things. This app is separate from the printer. It is not the printer as other reviewers seem to believe. I have this app and my WF-7720 work exactly as expected and needed; they work seamlessly. I must say, especially as it seems other users have had problems, that you must get the wifi setup correct. Otherwise, you will become frustrated. One thing that people don’t realise is that wifi routers usually implement lots of security and this can block access to the printer. You are probably better off using WPS, but make sure you do it on the wifi router and the printer together. If you try to mix and match, it just won’t work; and, this is what I think most users (with bad reviews) are doing. I can very easily print and scan from iPhone and computer, and also remotely. If it is setup right, it works beautifully every time.

Fantastic printer. Just purchased the ET-2710 and couldn’t be happier with the easy of setup and quality of the printing once you work out the symbols on the printer. Initial price is a little bit higher than your average home printer but the warranty and low cost of printing will outweigh the original cost. I would recommend this printer to those that are looking to replace or upgrade.

Missing functions. There is no option to print landscape or specify printing of page range. It just prints all the pages when I only need 1 out of the 5 pages.

Scan source. Why does the app keep reverting to adf as a scan source??? It was fine yesterday. Now I can’t scan from doc table? This is ridiculous!can no longer save any scan settings, keeps reverting back. It’s ridiculous

Unreal. I’ve been at trying to get this printer to connect to my Wi-Fi for over 2 hours! It still will not connect via Bluetooth at all… and it will not print the sizes of the prints I select…. DO NOT BUY THIS OR USE THIS PROGRAM IF YOU ARE AN ARTIST. I’ve been using an HP printer and an app called Image Size for years with ZERO problems. This is what I get for switching

Most Useless Printers. Not good for printing, ink to expensive. One black cartridge does not even print 10 pages No good scanner for scanning fro ADF Will not recommend to anyone.

Clunky. I have to reboot my printer every time I want to print or scan something.

SLOW. This is my first time printing with this remote print app and it seems to take quite a long time to execute the command. I don’t know if it is normal or not. It is great to be able to print a document remotely with the phone tho🙃

Becoming a problem. This has been a reliable printer for over 3 years but in the last 2 months it has been very problematic. It will not accept a print job, it is slow printing and sometimes stop part way through a job and ejects the paper. I have tried restarting it, unplugging it and clearing it. Nothing seems to work. Very disappointing.

FIX THE APP!. This app used to work but it just freezes every time I open it. I have important documents to scan and the scan function has not responded in weeks! I am beyond irritated.

This is so easy! I can print from my ipad!. My main laptop is in the shop for repair, so I tried to see if I could use my ipad. And it worked! I was able to clean the print heads, check alignment, and change cartridges and finally print from the app!

First print. I just received my new tablet and just hit print. It was waiting. Then I asked my wife to power it up. Then it started to print. I noticed the Epson was fast to print from new tablet with no fuss.

Not happy.. Just bought this printer. Although it was easy to set up physically. The ease of printing from my iPhone is incredibly difficult. It has problems picking the printer and keeping it picked, and even when I use the apps, it will not recognize any new paper sizes. The quality of the photo was outrageous and faces are orange. If Support can’t help me within the next 24 hours this is going back.

Set up. I have been working on trying to set up the printer to work with my windows 11 computer for over 8 hours now, no luck. They don’t have an easy to install program as all my other brands have. I can print from my phone but not my computer. So far I am not impressed with this printer. Loaded driver from the CD that came with it thinking it would work better than over the internet, wrong!

Reliable. I am very happy with this printer…Have been using it everyday for the last two years, and all I do is refill the ink cartridges…haven't had any trouble with it, and the print quality is really good. Dollar for dollar, it’s well worth the money…

Scanner. Scanned documents turn out gray background after scanning instead of white and transparent based on paper. Too much updates The printer should automatically detect paper size instead of initiating from the the printer when change paper size

SCANNER AND APP DOESN’T WORK. I’ve had the Epson ET-4760 printer for about a month now and it has some serious issues. The multiple printer apps Epson advises you to download for the printer don’t work properly. The scanner only scans 1 or 2 pages from the ADF instead of all of them. The one app that does function somewhat has a very convoluted interface and sometimes doesn’t see the printer. Epson’s instructions from their help files are not helpful and some of the instructions seem to be outdated. I’m definitely not recommending this all-in-one printer.

Limited Features and Spotty Performance. The interface is not very detailed and has fewer options than the desktop interface, which begs the question: why use it? Apparently only for black and white or basic graphics. Additionally the app frequently “forgets” the printer and at times will not populate in the Apple “share” queue. Adequate when it works, but not reliable.

Easy and effective. I love this app as it has saved me so much time as it has easily enabled me to print photos and documents directly from my iPhone. We don’t have an air printer so this app allowed the printing without it!

Best printer ever!. I love this printer! Ink last for months and months. I’m a graphic artist and print almost every day. I’ll be honest, it took me awhile to learn everything about using it (I’m 80, my excuse lol). I would never own anything else now. You will not be sorry for purchasing one! I gave five stars before but lately all my graphics are extremely dark. If I scan a graphic and then return to printing from the app, my graphics all turn dark. It’s frustrating!

My Epson WF 3640 has been a work horse. I cannot say enough about this printer. I have scanned hundreds of documents, printed hundreds of documents and it has never given me a problem. I have had in for years! The only problem is cheap paper jams it up. The wireless airdrop works effortlessly.

BIG MISTAKE. I opted to get an Epson 2700 printer after using HP printers successfully for years. This has been a huge mistake. I generally print from my iPad. This ap works ok WHEN I CAN GET IT TO PRINT. It doesn’t interface with my phots/files directly so that I can simply print what’s on my screen. I must scroll over to ap, relocate files/photos, then print. Arguments/tears while doing taxes with hubby. The better print quality absolutely does not make up for the unnecessary stress this causes. Never again!

Epson Printer. The Ink storage is great & the overall size is good. The setup was difficult. I have iPhones & iPads and the connection was hard, even Epson customer service took 2 phone calls and 3 different reps to get it to connect. It is not that easy to make changes on paper size. The color printing is not great but just OK. Again the ink storage is great but not sure I would buy this model again!

I’m not tech savvy. It took me awhile to set up and figure out how to even set up my Epson -2760 printer, but I was determined to get to the AirPrint section. After feeling like I took a IQ test, I found myself on the Epson page to guide me where I needed to go. It was a piece of cake with their guidance. I’m very happy with the print APP. Thank you!

Let me print direct. I want to print directly from my document on my iPhone without having to go through Epson iPrint. Epson iPrint does not give me access to Pages or Notes and I often want to print from those apps. I was printing just fine from anything and then all of a sudden about 4-6 weeks ago I couldn’t print. The printer is a good printer and economical on ink but I don’t like having to print through the Epson iPrint app.

Needs better dpi options in scanner settings. I got this app to scan music scores from my epson wf-7620 directly to my iPad. Everything works great except that the max resolution is 300 dpi and I need to scan at least at 600 dpi so the lines are crisp and easy to read. 300 is not readable for musical scores. This should be an easy fix with an update and I hope the can fix it soon, but until then this app is useless for my needs.

Beautiful prints but.... I had the PM Charm and it died. I love the quality of the prints and ease of use since it’s wireless. My biggest issue and the reason for only 4 stars is the Epson Creative Print app cant find it. So I have to use the Epson Print app and it doesn’t have the ability to print 2 3x4’s and I have to use a different app to put 2 prints on a 4x6 first. That’s very frustrating!

automatic document feeder jamming. I attempted to use the document feeder to scan a document, and it failed multiple times in a row. It kept saying that there was a paper jam, but I couldn’t see no paper jam. After adjusting the paper just perfectly, I was finally able to get it feed through. This multifunction station prints well, but I didn’t expect to have this kind of trouble using the document feeder.

I love it. It’s a great app but there’s just one thing I’m still gonna give it a five star but the thing is whenever I’m trying to crop it for some reason I want to fit it in the perfect way, but then it takes half of what my picture is out

Shaq is right!. Best printer in terms of ink costs and quality of printing. Had one in the office just used for color printing and bought a second for home that is used all of the time. Only use laser printer at home when long black and white documents are being printed.

Printer King. I received my printer as a gift for doing some work for my son. I was a little skeptical however I really love it- It’s was a bit challenging at first to set up. However after patience with following on screen directions it went well. I was able to setup my Dell laptop and my IPhone-X. The King is printing great.

No way to scan higher dpi. The app works fine to control my Epson printer from my phone, but it’s a shame that there’s no way to scan higher dpi’s from the app. On my Mac I’m able to scan 600 or even 1200 dpi’s which makes the skin extremely clear and crisp. 300 dpi is not tolerable. This is easily resolved with an update to include 600 and1200 dpi’s in the resolution drop-down on the app. It really isn’t that hard so I hope the deva update the app to add it soon

Slow Album Loading. This app is very convenient as it allows you to resize photos for printing in real time, which is a feature that is missing from native iOS print photo feature. That being said, over the years it has always taken forevvvvver for the photo albums to load, sometimes more than 2 mins? I normally don’t leave app reviews but seriously how does this app have 5 stars? (iPhone 10, 11 & 14)

Awesome!. Every time I needed something printed I would have to email it to my husband and ask him to print it. He’s away during the week so I can only really do that on the weekends. It’s absolutely amazing to be able to pull up documents on my phone, send them to the printer and have it printed immediately.

This is a great printer. I have had many printers in my life and eventually they have all failed me , usually due to the cost of ink refills or inability to print extreme numbers of copies (100+) I had one vibrate it’s self off a desk and leak all over the floor. This printer is a true low cost to print masterpiece . It was a great buy

Best Features!. I love the fact that you can print from anywhere! I’m in my daughters room and my home is setup roommate style. I’m so happy for wireless printing from my phones! It is thee best feature ever! I’m an entrepreneur on the go and my businesses are virtually ran and this saves my life daily! Highly recommend

Printing. I love it when it’s easy to print work that I want to see on paper thank you for making it easy for someone who doesn’t know to much how machines work I did it I printed my label that I needed to send my product back that didn’t work . Thank you again :)

Wonderful little printer that doesn’t act little,lol. I have used Epson’s in the past and had a lot of trouble setting them up. Also trouble printing multiple pages.... But this printer is easy to use and easy to set up. It does a lot of stuff and takes up very little room

Prints well, questionable data collection. Works great on my about 10 year old Stylus NX420 (but only from apps where it can get on the share modal). However, and my reason for the low rating, BEWARE: The app requests always on location and Bluetooth in order to “locate the printer”, but it does not need either to actually print and work. I consider this a dark pattern to collect and sell data unrelated to the functionality of the app. Makes me question what it’s saving and monitoring of other actions in the app.

Hmmmm. I purchased my printer for about a year now from Staples. At one point it was printing blanks even after cleaning the nozzles, I had to keep doing it over and over and when it started to work, it would print the document with a blank paper following. THEN, it refuses to connect to my phone, so I cannot print from my phone. I downloaded the app to print from there, but it doesn’t show how to add your documents from say books on iPhone to be able to add to documents and then print. To much work.

Updates automatically..VERY Reliable. My previous printers of the same brand that kept dying after two years . Switched to a professional printer and it my be overkill for home use but I love it so much and am extremely happy with my investment!!!

Excellent. This app is very user friendly. Quickly downloaded and connected my printer via manual IP address. Using my iPhone I was able to print PDF files directly from my iMessages. Life saver for in the moment needs, but will now use it for other purposes due to convenience!

Very Responsive. The Epson printer a own is very responsive most of the time .I’m not sure if my router is acting up or it is my internet service but sometimes it takes 4 or 5 tries to connect. Once it is connected , it takes very little time till I have printed documents in hand. I would definitely recommend.

Does what it needs to do. Enough said. Just takes some messing around with your printer (especially if it’s older). You have to manually type in the SSID and password of the local Wi-Fi network to connect it to your phone.

What happened to Microsoft One Drive in latest version??. I know “Print from Cloud” has just been changed to “Print Documents.” In the old version, I was able to access any documents in my Microsoft OneDrive. Now though, the only two locations I can access and print from are my iCloud Drive and On My iPhone. Please include Microsoft OneDrive as an option too! Thank you!

I love this printer. Other printers over the years have been great/so-so/horrible. All in the same day The Epson is the most reliable printer we’ve had. And not having to buy expensive cartridges, the main reason I first bought it, is a huge money saver. Highly recommend.

Epson Keeps Drivers Updated. To this day I won't purchase another HP product because they wouldn't update drivers for my p1100 Photosmart and I lost a ton of money in ink. Epson Keeps the drivers updated and it works with every device I own! Thank you Epson!

Completely satisfied. We’ve used Epson app for some years now. Enjoy it. Except there were some changes a couple of years ago. Which took away some of the easier printing features. But I will not change from Epson unless they no longer exist.

Epson iPrint. This app initially was constantly clipping off the right inch or do of the pages. Somewhat anti-intuitive, tapping on the A+ button several times seemed to have fixed that, but was not initially recognizable on the iPhone screen. Also, after giving up on a decent print out for the day, the next day it works fine and even the very slow printing was speeded up. Go figure!

Easy to use. So far using the app on my iPhone to print things have been very easy to do. There are many options to choose from when it comes to printing different things. Technology has come along way!

Will only scan in color.. Scanning with my WF-2760 gives blank pages in Grayscale and B & W mode. This function was working previously, so I assume it was broken with a recent update. Scanning in color does still work. Also, since I have location permissions disabled, the app asks for them every time I open it which is very irritating.

Easy and fast. A simple app that does what it needs to do well, simple, and easy. There are some minor gotchas when learning what you do to make some things work, but all in all its fairly user friendly. It is one more app that makes having the iPad feel closer to being on a full laptop.

Super quick. It’s simple download the app and make sure the printer is on. It will walk you through the rest. Keep in mind if it doesn’t print when the paper goes through do a quick cleaning on the settings.

Print settings. Unable to read the print setting choices on tablet screen. They are all overlapping over each other for paper size, paper choices, number of prints, etc. don’t know how to fix this issue. When you are unable to make the different setting choices its hard to complete your particular project! :-(

NEVER buy an Epson!!!. Epson hardware is practically useless without Epson software, & they force customers to allow them to capitalize on their private data furtively siphoned through Epson products. There’s no justification for forcing customers to divulge their location or usage data just to print something on the product they purchased. Epson doesn’t even allow customers the choice to opt-out of privacy predation. Now that I know this, I wish I hadn’t bought an Epson. It was an expensive mistake. HP’s hardware, software, & privacy policy, are all vastly superior.

Fully Support “Supported” Printers!. It would be very nice if this app made available the options Epson worked so hard to include in this fine printer. For example, being able to select different types of paper, rather than only “Glossy” for most sizes. Or supporting the use of ROLL PAPER when the printer is made to allow it. It’s maddening to have an app, MADE BY THE PRINTER MANUFACTURER, that chooses not to fully support the printer or the user. It is simply lazy and disrespectful, IMVHO.

Exceeded my expectations. I didn't think it through just how much easier life would be to print and scan docs from my phone. ESPECIALLY with scans, this thing is a godsend. It cuts out the need a pc and is so intuitive I don’t feel like I’m missing any functionality.

Useless App, Useless Printer!. Every time I use it I have to reset print type as not to wast all my ink. It will not save in settings. The previous print still loads with new print. You cannot add multiple items to print, instead have to you wait for each and every page to print before adding anything to the que. Also, it jams every single time you print something. I absolutely hate this app and printer and will never buy another Epson product again.

Average Citizen. I love the idea of the Eco tank. The setting up of the Wi-Fi to be able to print with Bluetooth was cumbersome. I think there should be an easier way to set up the Wi-Fi without having to go in uppercase lowercase different screens to get the numbers and then the at sign. But so far it is what is very nice cordially submitted Aileen.

I hope you can change the printing quality in the app. I hope you can change the printing quality in the app. Only standard printing is available for all types whether document or photos. I hope you can change that as I need high quality print out using my phone

My favorite Printer. I have owned my printer for several years and must say it is the most dependable printer I have used. We print many greeting cards and color documents and always have ink on hand. The color quality is excellent. When I need to clean the print heads, the steps are easy to follow and the print quality is like new again.

Very easy and user friendly. I love the fact that it is literally so easy and user friendly. Because I don’t know how to do anything having to do with a computer or printer and when I tell you that figuring out how to get something to print I need from this app is super easy and fast I love it.

Very good with Epson Paper. I find that this program works the very best when it can see Epson paper, since sometimes there’s a paper mismatch between other brands and the printer settings. I wish it would work a little better with the Photos program on the iPad.
