Always crashing. And I lost six whole months worth of favorite articles. Even logging in doesn't save them!!! Ugh

Update. The app closes every time I click on an article! So frustrating!! Last update was 10 months ago, might be time to fix this bug!

Consistently Crashing. This app consistently crashes every time one tries to open an article. Needs an update on the worst way.

Great app!!. This app is great! It has everything the website does, blog-wise. The only thing I don't like is that if I am reading an article with a slideshow, it cuts the caption off, and I can't figure out how o read the rest of it. Also (and the fact that this isn't on there doesn't take away from the app at all), but it would be cool if there was a way to link it to my online account - so that I could log in, get points, leave comments, upload cool captures directly from the phone app etc. Also, it would thereby be cool if they could connct it to facebook like the website is, so that we could publish stories and stuff. But like I said, this doesnt take away from the app at all - its still great, and keeps me in contact with my favorite website!! Great job!!

Just so so.... if you check this app frequently, you’ll notice very quickly articles are reposted very VERY often. if they don’t have enough content for one section, articles are posted again from months prior, but the dates are changed. can’t figure out, for the life of me, why they do this, but it’s frustrating. if the article isn’t obviously reposted, they will keep the article up for quite some time. also, the can be quite immature. should you stay with your ex? should you call your ex? come on.

Odd feed. Feed oddly does not place top news in #1 position leading readers to believe the site is not updated. There have been times the lead story has remained for several days in the #1 position. In this digital age it would seem no one is minding the store.

DO NOT UPDATE! Lost ALL My Saved Stories.... Updated the app, signed back in, and... Alllllllllllllllllllllll my Favorited articles are GONE! 😩 I had SO many saved over these years!!

Constantly Crashes. I’ve been happy with this app for years. However for the past few months the app crashes when you click on an article. There hasn’t been an update released in a VERY long time. I couldn’t even see when the last update occurred. Had to delete for good because it’s unusable.

Crashes all the time. Don’t waste your time with this app, it crashes every time you click on an article.

Notifications. Please stop asking me to turn on notifications every time I open the app... I know you want me to but I won’t ever... after 20 times you should know the answer is no. Thanks for the auto reply....it’s the update that’s the problem.... please don’t respond to reviews before reading them you just look shallow.

Glitchy. Closes out when I click a story. Appears no updates to app in a year. Fail.

Crashing continuously. This has been a wonderful app until it began crashing every time I open it. Hope this gets resolved soon.

Pretty Much Obsessed. This is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite websites, so I was so psyched when I read that they had created an app for iPhone. I'm a new mom and rarely ever get a chance to sit down and browse the website on my laptop. I kind of rely on my phone for the Internet now. So with the PopSugar App I'll probably never need to use the computer anymore. It keeps me up to date on everything so I actually have an idea of what my younger sister is talking about! Yay for PopSugar!! Thank you!

Keeps crashing. I love this app!! One of my favorites! So many great articles!!! However, I'm upset because it used to be perfect and now since my iOS 14 update, it crashes on me all the time. After I open about 3 articles, it kicks me off the app. I can’t update it because it’s already up to date. I don’t know what to do. But other then that this app has been and is amazing!

App Bug. I’ve never reviewed an app before, but am posting now just because I really like this app and have had it for years, but for the past month it seems like it suddenly randomly closes every five minutes. So I navigate through and find an article I want to read, and then app closes! And then I have to go through navigation, find article again, and app then closes again! Wait a day, and the previous target article opens fine, and it’s the next one you click that will make it close. It’s really frustrating. I love their Christmas gift guides, but going through and finding something good on list, only to navigate away to the store and have the app close on you when you try to navigate back, or repeatedly close when you are trying to access a an article, just isn’t worth the time and hassle. FYI that I have even tried deleting app and reinstalling, and have confirmed all updates, but still no improvement. Sigh.

My favorite app. As someone who struggles with PTSD and anxiety, I treat popsugar as a daily news-app and workout tool. The daily reminders and the positivity helps me get out of bed and be fit every day. Thank you popsugar, you’re truly making a difference

Upgrade your App. Please upgrade your app- about half of the articles I try to open just automatically close tab on me even after going back into the app and trying repeatedly to view. This honestly shouldn’t be as much of a problem as it is.

Crashes. This app used to be great. Now it just crashes constantly and I can’t read any article.

App Keeps Crashing. Popsugar is one of my favorite sites! I love this app so much. My only con is that it constantly crashes. It crashes after every 5 minutes. This is very inefficient & annoying.

CRASHING. I’ve been using this app for years and bought the latest iPad and now the app crashes the minute I open it. I’ve deleted it and added it and it still crashes. What is the fix?

I want to love. I have never reviewed anything before in my life. This has been one of my favorite apps for years but over the past 6 months no matter what I do it unexpectedly closes every 2 minutes. I could be in the middle of reading an article and it just closes and I have to reset the app. I have checked updates I’ve restarted my phone I have installed and uninstalled but all fail. I really hope a solution happens because this is truly one of the best apps for ideas!

Bad Company. Everyone should know that Popsugar is aware they are featuring an article that has an abusive couple in it and that they are evidently okay with that. In one of their articles, they praise a notorious abuser and her relationship as “everything” and “a fairytale” when this claim couldn’t be further from the truth. I know the truth because, unfortunately, the victim is my sister. The regrettable relationship that Popsugar praises is an extremely abusive one that features screaming, name-calling, (suicide and violence) threats, intimidation, and commands for extreme isolation and control of the victim from friends and family. This relationship is incredibly volatile, toxic, and abusive. I implore Popsugar to do the right thing and pull their article that features the American brides wedding eloping to Iceland to make a stand against domestic violence. What’s even more disgusting is that I originally let Popsugar know this over a year ago, in addition to providing them with screenshoted evidence of the abuse, and they have failed to follow up with me or look more into it. I know there’s been a pandemic going on, but abuse is a serious issue and Popsugar has treated it as anything but. Dealing with my sister in an abusive relationship has been hard enough for my family, and Popsugars dismissive and insensitive response in which they are siding with my sister’s abuser is demoralizing at best. I tell everyone I know about Popsugar, their unacceptable journalism and conduct.

Everything closes. Everything on this app now force closes. I can’t even open an article without it closing two seconds later.

Keep crashing. I love this app but it keeps crashing?

Update: used to be my favorite app. I have NEVER reviewed anything before. However, this has been my all time favorite blog and then app since its inception. I am so disappointed in the new format. Who has time to scroll through each category and then each story? This is supposed to be somewhat of an online magazine. With that in mind, no magazine forces you to look through every article to find something that you find interesting. Please bring back the old format with headlines and personalized feeds! Update: This app has improved in the best ways possible. I love the way that you can personalize content. I also really appreciate that the headlines have a sub category below which bring up similar content in that category. The ability to favorite stories is also wonderful. I genuinely like everything about this app. I find myself using this daily for everything from what’s in style to healthy recipes and work out routines. To see the transformation from a blog to a truly digital magazine has been amazing. I wish there were more platforms like this. Great job Popsugar! Now if I could just get Popsugar Active as an app on my computer I would be over the moon.

Crash!. I can’t read a single article anymore without the app immediately crashing. Based on the reviews, this has been an ongoing issue... Loved popsugar, but the app is a disaster right now. Update it or retire it!

Recommended movie lists not loading. I’ve noticed the last few days that articles that list moves & have trailers aren’t loading. For example your article titled “only stream these movies on Netflix if you like drop dead sexy guys” doesn’t load amongst other articles listing movies. I click on the link & the page is blank. Also your quizzes don’t load either. Please fix these problems

Not working. Since the new iPhone update the app keeps shutting down when I want to read an article. Please update for bug fixes.

New update makes this app unusable. The new update took what was an amazing and visually appealing app that I checked multiple times a day to an aesthetically boring, non-user friendly, difficult to navigate, mess of an app. I literally cannot understand how this got through testing. I would highly recommend a return to a fresh spin on the old layout with your target demographics in mind once again, because the new layout is really off-target - like who do you think is downloading something called PopSugar, stock brokers and accountants? Whoever the terrible designer was behind this incredibly boring and messy redesign should be...repurposed. I thought after all the bad reviews for the new 'business-like' layout, you would return us to our beloved bubbly freshness. But, alas, you have not, so i deleted the app. So sad that something that was once on my home screen has been rendered useless. Disappointed in you, popsugar. Big time.

Keeps Crashing. I love this app except it keeps crashing when I click into an article. Thought it was because I needed to d/l a new version but I’m up to date.

Content is just advertisements and never anything of substance. There is legitimately no content of substance in this app. Every “article” is just an advertisement - Things to buy from Amazon/Walmart/Target/etc. Random crap for traveling that you should buy. There’s hardly any new content and when there is it’s just a covert ad for some big company. I got this app when Bustle stopped doing their app and it was not great.

If only it wouldn’t shut down. I really like pop sugar and I enjoy the different categories for each article but the app never stays open!! i’ll be trying to read the article and it just shuts down or I click on a link and it closes it’s very frustrating and just makes me not want to use it. even the articles where you have links to items that are being discussed to purchase you can’t click on any of the links.

Too liberal to really enjoy.. Think I’ll delete the app.

Frozen. Since the last update this app freezes on the first page. Can't click on the menu, can't scroll thru the stories. I'm using an iPhone 4 and it doesn't work. Works on my iPad though. C'mon.

Has been crashing lots lately. I love this app - has lots of good stuff in it, but it has been crashing a lot lately I’ve been avoiding it. Tried to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling but still crashing.

Perfect! (almost). One app to get all the info you need! From geeksugar to popsugar, this app has them all!! This app needs to allow you to log in to your onsugar account to post and view comments. Comments are one of the best parts of the site! And to make it even better, you should be able to reorganize the list to suit your preferences.

Great, could be amazing!. Great content, like the new customization option. It's slower to load since update and more crashes. I wish I could bookmark my favourite articles...I can't seem to email them to myself and I can't pin picture. It won't let me select a photo from a slideshow

Not helpful, It's just another way to see biased trendings. I found about it watching YouTube recipes and it was amazing. So I went online and I thought it would be a recipes website only, but it is just another those "trending" websites, still, their recipes contents are great. Nevertheless I downloaded the app and got frustrated because you can't navigate through their recipes, all you can see is their latest trending recipes.

No comments? What's the point?. A huge part of PopSugar is the comments. Most of the articles I want to read tell me to refer to the comments etc. And that is not an option on this app. What's the point?

New layout is terrible.. I was/am an avid POPSUGAR fan. As a newer mom, it's a way for me to disconnect when I can and enjoy some light reading. But not every article (even in my "favorite sections) interests me. So why would I want to read it? Or have to scroll through it to get to the next one? This was a terrible idea. The new lettering is great and all but the style of this app is now so annoying that I won't even open it. Hopefully you change it back.

Great App with Great Info!. I love Pop Sugar! Everyday when I wake up, I love to open Pop Sugar and read the latest news. The app has several topics and is updated daily, throughout the day. Great Free App!

Love the app but.... The pages haven't been working. For example, I would tap on a story to read and instead of reading it via through the app, it would take me to the website and not even on the story I wanted. Please fix this! I do love this app but this problem has been going on for a week or so and it's preventing me to enjoy the app.

Geeking Out. Checked out the new version and much easier to navigate! I read GeekSugar (now Tech) every day, multiple times a day… addicted. Slideshows are faster and smoother too. Thanks for the fixes!!!

My Daily PopSugar!. I love my PopSugar App!!!! I read it pretty much everyday:) I like it better than the website. The TresSugar section would be even better if I could see comments listed under posted questions from members. Still love it though ;)

Easy to use, love seeing all in one place. I'm a fan - I think it's easy to use and laid out well, plus I like being able to view multiple categories in the same space (celeb alongside fashion alongside fitness alongside food, etc).

We want the old version!!!. The previous version was great and easy to read and never crashed. Now the app is confusing and crashes and freezes like crazy. I have this app and us weekly and before the previous version I only used popsugar! Now, I only use US weekly. Please popsugar bring back the old version!!!

Popsugar... Lite. The only feature missing is the ability to see and post comments. I would love to be able to do that.

AUgirl365. I really, really like this app and there are two things keeping me from loving it: a functional search engine and the ability to save articles. When searching with a celebrity's name, I either get no results or completely unrelated results. Very frustrating.

New popsugar is a bummer. I was really disoriented with the new set up of pop sugar, I thought the old one was much more functional and simpler. That isn't my main issue though, I love the fitness area and would send videos and workouts to my self that I liked, now whenever I try it crashes. All the great tips I would like to use I can't, with new stuff being added daily the workouts are no longer easy to get to. I hope this problem gets fixe or I may be deleting this app.

Still no landscape support?. I upgraded to 3 stars since the recent retina updates made the app so much better. But still no landscape support? Who wants to view a widescreen video in portrait view? Mobile screens are small enough as it is..

Photo galleries don't update. I generally love this app, but the photo galleries don't update for days, sometimes a week even though the headlines do - you think you're going to see new photos and you get the same ones. I also can never hear volume when I try to play video clips - could be my iPhone settings though.

Great app for the girl-on-the-go!. I love this app! Beautiful interface, very mobile-friendly, and easily scrollable to quickly view all the topics. I do agree that they need to work on the photo captions.

Love this app!. I haven't experienced any technical issues with this app on my iPhone4 at all. I love having it, check it first thing in the morning and throughout the day when I'm bored. The different categories are useful especially the "fit sugar" category with all of the fitness and health advice!

Great Content...LOUSY APP for iPhone!. After seeing pop sugar on yahoo screen on my Apple TV, I had high expectations for the app but was heavily disappointed. Pros *great content on various subjects from money saving tips, books to read, beauty tools review ( 1 star) Cons * Pins for Pinterest don't work * there are NO BOOKMARKS! I can't even favorite a page to save articles. Once I read an article I can't easily go back to it. *you can't save in Evernote, pocket reader, or Instapaper to read for later. *when I scroll to the bottom it only lets me go so far before pushing me back to the top * I wish there were more options for my newsfeed * it would be nice if you didn't have to scroll through a list.

Hate the new app design. I love this app but the new app design is horrible. I liked being able to see several stories on the same page and being able to pick and choose which one to look at. And now I can't see several categories, like Celebrity and Beauty at the same time! So annoying! Please change this, or at least give the option to change the views!

Needs improvement. I like the app, however the ability to save articles, and also open in safari from articles would greatly enhance. It's a pain to have to email articles to myself that I want to save.

10/16 update ruined the app. They went from being able to see a mixture of stories from all topics to having to click into each topic to read the stories. First world problems I know, but when you're just trying to read something while waiting for an appointment or your kids, the older version was so much better. The app now has favorites, which should have been used for the sections you're interested in, but no, it's for stories you want to favorite. Not really interested in the same old stories showing up in my favorites. Terrible update

So Many Great Things In One Spot. All the content is great and I especially love the food, home, and tech sections. There's always new and interesting content to inspire me. I love how I can tailor my newsfeed to show the kinds of articles I'm most interested in. Fun and super easy to use.

Over the crashing. Pop sugars apps are always frustrating. They are clearly thought out and want to be a go to source for celeb/ lifestyle pics, info, videos, etc but they fail. The app crashes constantly. The pics don't load or refresh. I've tried to wait out the kinks but their 'new' app isn't any better. They need to up their game and fix these ridiculous problems. I'm giving up using the app for awhile.

Good, but one thing that would make it great:. I love being able to access all my Sugar sites on my phone. One thing I'd really really love though is COMMENTS! I want to be able to read and post comments! Other than that, great.

Can't read all of the photo captions. The app is very slick, and very fast. I like it a lot. The only problem I have is the lack of being able to read longer photo captions. They get cut off and there's no way to scroll them.

Good until a few weeks ago. It was a really good app until it started crashing. First it would crash after I'd been in it awhile, now as soon as I try to open it it disappears. I tried removing and reinstalling without success. I've had this app for awhile and it's good when functioning. The main problems I experienced then were with slide shows. Either pics took too long to load or never did or some would be distorted where it was all black and some parts of the person were highlighted in blue. Fix and I'll download again.

Not a fan of the new format.. I used to use the app every day, but since the latest update I no longer use the app and will probably delete it unless the format is changed. I liked being able to customize the topics in my feed, and to be able to pick and choose which articles I read. The new format is not user friendly at all.

Great app - one major flaw. I love Popsugar, I've been a loyal fan since the website started. However, this app has a big problem that makes me not want to use it. When I scroll through content, the app will randomly refresh and scroll me back to the top, so I totally lose my place. It's super irritating. Please investigate!

Love it!. My sister told me about this app! I downloaded it and I love it! They have useful and quick tips on how to do quick workouts with a busy schedule. They also have celebrity news and healthy eating tips everything a women loves at her fingertips!

Love it!. Always has the most up to date gossip and celebrity pics. It's such a good app for those boring lulls at work during the day. But there are some kinks in the program and I've never seen any updates from the app store to address the issues. For example, I've had to delete and redownload the app multiple times because it freezes every few weeks.

A bug. This is a good app with interesting news and articles. However, there's one bug which makes it frustrating to use. Often, when you tap on "load more stories...", it scrolls to the bottom of the page past articles you haven't read, causing you to lose your spot and have to hunt for it again.

Annoying. I like this app because of the variety of content. What I don't like it is very biased and I cannot see a lot of the pics in the articles. Unless there is a slide show I usually can't see the pics or videos in the body of the article when I click on it. This goes for both my iPhone 5 and iPad so annoying!

Entertainment News At its Best!. I am obsessed with POPSUGAR. The way they cover celebrity in a positive and upbeat way is so refreshing. Their videos are a delight to watch and keep me entertained all day. So much nicer than some of those other nasty sites.

Perfect app!. This app is great for getting my Sugar fix when I'm on the go. Especially love how sleek the slideshows and photos are — super easy to scroll through all 30 photos of those adorable Jolie-Pitts!

Save???. I love the articles but I still prefer the Buzzfeed app. Why can't you save or bookmark anything on this app? Buzz feed is a cleaner read because of the lack of ads and the ability to save and bookmark for later. Disappointed because the articles are really good.

So cool. I like the feature with the pictures of people!! Now I can see pictures on the bus, plane, boat or skiing time. My cat and I love this news app and want more !!! Also recipes did you know this app has recipes. If this app were a vegetable I would buy it in the grocery store and prepare it and eat it.

Love Actually. I use this app on my commute everyday and adore it. I can read all the morning news before getting to the office. And then jump back on at my desk. I wish I could read comments and particpate in the more interactive features I see on the sites, but the new share features are great!

Great app for pics. Love the app to see pics and sometimes has good stories but they're mostly short and many are just polls instead of actual stories.

Love it. Only complaint is that when I click on a link that takes me to another site it is impossible to get back to the Sugar page I was originally on. I have to delete and re- install it.

My go-to pop culture app!. I check POPSUGAR all the time. One of the things I love about their app is the ability to curate my news feed. As a big fan of the Celeb, Ent, and Home sites, it's great to get all the stories I want on on one page. Bravo!

Love it but.... Love this app and use it daily, but (like many other readers) would love a way to save articles to read later. Either a save button or access to read it later would b excellent and take my review to a five star!

A must have!. I've been using this app since the previous versions and I check it during my daily commute on the train. I can swipe through photos and galleries very quickly and catch up on everything from celebrity news to street style photos and beauty advice all in one app. Love!

Great App!. I love using this app when I am taking the bus to and from work. The layout is great and I can get my daily digest of celeb photos and all the other fun stuff on the other sites. So easy to read. The photos are amazing. Love it.

Slideshows are awesome!. I love being able to swipe through photos on this app. The photos look bigger, and I like the fact that I can read all of the text in the slideshows.

Love the news!. I love the amount of celebrity news and how none of it is negative! It makes me feel like POPSUGAR is in the right mindset. Plus, the push notifications are never incessant but always keep me updated.

My must have daily dose of pop culture. At the start and end of my day (and, maybe while at work - shhhhh), I get my daily fix on what's relevant in my life or my imaginary life in an entourage! This app is my doorway into that world; love love it !!

Don't bother.. New format is terrible. Have to scroll through full articles to get to the next one instead of picking from headlines and choosing what interests you? Who has time for that? Made the app useless. Was really loving the feed that you could customize to show you articles on subjects you were into.. aaand it's gone. Awful, hoping they take the feedback and revert it to the old or fix the new. Otherwise I'm done with it. Loved the app before. Bummer.

Obsessed. I am popsugar obsessed, and love the app, so much easier than using safari or something on my phone, especially on my commute to work. Can't get enough!

All the great content, easy to use interface. I love the mobile app version of POPSUGAR's content - perhaps even better than the desktop. Intuitive design and great engineering. Works like a charm.
