First-Rate! Pierwszorzędny!. The dictionary itself is extensive. The interface usability of the app has improved to match the first-rate content. Added lots of functionality : games and flashcards that actually do help the learning process.

Collins Polish Dictionary. Excellent all round dictionary.

Good, however. Good offline dictionary with a big bunch of words. I would like to have more examples of usage connection with prepositions. One thing is missing: live pronunciation and examples of sentences.

Excellent application. As an English native speaker teaching English in Poland, I use this app daily and have found it to be quite thorough. If you are trying to decide between this dictionary and the one provided by SlovoEd (I have both), then look no further. I've found SlovoEd entries to be inaccurate or confusing, whereas the accuracy in Collins is quite good. To enter Polish characters, you'll need to install a Polish language keyboard, and then hold down the key you want until a menu of additional characters appears.

Cannot paste. I cant even paste a word to search so 100% useless. Paste button pops up but cannot be taped. Very serious bug completely unusable because of it. You cannot even copy 3 word phrases for your notes... 100% completely disgusting learner-hostile product. People with the nerve to scam money out of me for something this outrageous deserve jail time. Also why no autosearch on clipboard contents or large text area to paste paragraphs and search on tap? This is so basic. Tablets are generally a slow nightmare you have to make it faster for people to get some study done. This whole app is like a giant "f" you. I am ANGRY

Great app!. This Polish dictionary app is great and it’s very easy to use! The only thing I wish it would do is have a button that would say the word to make sure I’m pronouncing it correctly.

Very useful. I am an English speaker learning Polish. For Polish verbs, this dictionary lists perfective and imperfective forms, gives the 1SG and 2SG conjugations, and gives usage examples, including colloquial. Other parts of speech have similarly complete entries like a printed dictionary. You'll need to know how to enter the accented characters to look up some Polish words: on an iPod, "hold down" a letter, and a row of accented characters for that letter will appear in a row above - drag your finger to the one you want.

Collins Polish Dictionary. Workable navigation; polish pronunciation with phonetics English equivalent would make app that much more useful.

Bad support. This was good, but now has strange and irritating behaviors. I wrote a bug report (clearly and politely!) to the support address and their staff wrote a defensive reply about how they “cannot consider each user's comments and suggestions.” Obviously you don’t do whatever a user tells you to do, but if you’re not a loser and a slacker, you will at least try to determine if there is a bug or not before insulting the customer. The defect in question is it triggers “word of the day” setup behaviors every time the app is unminimized, and it makes it a pain to look up multiple words (a common scenario!) and I happen to know as an iOS developer that it’s easy and simple to fix. It’s easy and simple to know if the app is being launched via notification or not. Easy and simple, unless you’re a slacker whose priority is to save face and avoid work. I have also ran into multiple mistranslations and one (a translation for “seizure” in a medical context) actually caused some trouble in an emergency situation. This is the fault of the dictionary authors at Collins and not the ISV, but it’s a problem with the product either way.

No IPA for Polish. I was thrilled to see the International Phonetic Alphabet used in the sample image, but was disappointed to learn after buying the app that it is only used for pronunciation of English words. I am an English speaker who needs guidance in Polish pronunciation, so this dictionary is not particularly useful for my needs.

It takes 4 seconds to open it.. Google translator opens in less than a second. It’s annoying. I used to use this app a lot but now switch Google permanently.

Very comprehensive!. I’ve been using this dictionary app since July 2015 when I went to Kraków for a six-week intensive polish language class. Since then, I’ve continued my studies in a small class taught weekly by a native speaker. This dictionary app continues to be by go to app while studying and conversing. I use the Word of the Day and Flash Cards. I really like the examples of how the word is used in everyday polish phrases.

Underwhelming. Nothing special. Missing a LOT of key features like audio, categories, customization. Interface is quite cumbersome and annoying. I expected much better for $15.

Inferior. High price for a comparatively small dictionary, lacking in idioms and examples. There are much better options out there.

Hopeless. This was an excellent dictionary until the latest upgrade. Not only is it now unusable, but I cannot even buy it again, because the App Store thinks I already have it!!

Update of my dictionary. They upgraded it and now it is good for nothing. I paid for it and I am not able to use it anymore because it is not fit t iPad. Now it is for mobile only.
