Just like the podcast, this app is awsome!. The app works really well, and the "Star Tab" adds a very cool new level of functionality. The app will also let you resume listening where you let off (as long as you press "pause" before jumping out of the app). It almost makes subscribing via iTunes a non-issue. The app is little slow on starting up while it checks in with servers for new episodes, but considering that the app finds those new episodes before they even appear in iTunes, I can live with the slower startup. If you love the podcast, your gonna love this app! (and buying it also helps support the show, so it's a win-win)

A Great Window Onto the Best iOS Podcast Anywhere. you can listen to this podcast with any podcast app out there, I suspect. But this particular app offers far more than Merli the ability to listen. You are given a front row seat into the program, and that simply serves to increase the programs value. The episode alert push notifications and the ability to quickly contact the show host make this app a must have. The best part of all is that the app works beautifully with voiceover, apples built-in screen reader. As one who relies constantly on voiceover, I find it wonderfully refreshing that the show host is cognizant enough of voiceover and it's value to ensure that is app was developed with voiceover users in mind. Here's hoping other app developers will follow is outstanding example. So, what's in it for those who don't use voiceOver? A nice, clean interface and intuitive buttons. That can make all the difference when you want to grab badly needed information in a hurry. Download this; you won't regret it.

Schedule?. I use to listen when u had a schedule and released ur shows regularly. Now I’m lucky if u release a show every 2 months. Either quit the show or commit to it.

Love the app and it's great info !!. Love the app and it's info and insights I can't get anywhere else. Only complaint is some calls are way too long and drone on repeating themselves like the guy reviewing iPhone cases in late August 2018 episode.

Soooo convenient! And generous!. I'm a longtime and faithful listener of Rob's iPhone podcast. It's essential listening/info for all iPhone/iPod owners. The app streams the podcast. So I was surprised and delighted to hear that it kept going even as I got out of range of cell towers. I guess it not only streamed it but downloaded the whole thing! A nice surprise. Also, Rob is providing extras in the form of .pdf files and even plans to go back and provide tips and extras for all his past shows. This is generous beyond the call of duty!

If listen to the podcast "today in iOS", then I am sure that you would want to show your appreciation to Rob by purchasing the app. Besides showing appreciation you also will greatly benefit from having access to many nice features such as show notes and the ability to download all of the artwork that has ever been submitted by listeners.

Great Podcast! (App much better). I promised this awesome app a fifth star when the 30-second replay and slider position functions were working. Well, these features now work MUCH, MUCH better! To be completely honest, in my experience similar controls on the "Stitcher" radio app still perform even faster and more reliably when playing the TII podcast. But the super-informative and entertaining podcast is the real value here. The app's improved playback features now make the experience that much more enjoyable. Buy it - along with the push-notification upgrade. You'll like it!

For Everything Apple, This Is The App To Have. I thoroughly enjoy listening to the host, Rob, in every episode which comes out. I have been a long time listener and very happy with the content provided. The App is a great app and I love the features included in this app overall. 1. Easy to find past episodes for listening. 2. Easy to contact Tii for comments and suggestions. 3. Even though Rob is pro Apple, he gives a balanced view and allows balanced views Pro or Con 4. The app allows article references and provides links in the show notes so the listener can read what is being reported. 5. Ability to mark favorite shows for easy finding. 6. Adding different formats of the show on the top of the screen. a. Audio listening b. Video viewing c. Text format d. PDF format Overall, the app is great and I give it 5 stars not for perfection but for making my day better by being a pipeline of Apple information and providing an easy way to listen to the show on a variety of formats with controls easy to operate in a nice concise easy manner of operation. Aesthetically appealing too. Good job to the host and the people who helped him design the app.

Could be better. This app has the right idea but it could definately be way better. You cannot multitask with this and when you get calls and it interrupts the show. Most of the time you have to start all over. I know there is a resume show button but with the frequency of dropped signals from AT&T you have to start the show all over then try to scroll to where you think you were then sometimes that doesn't work. I really would like to see a multitask option... Because if you just stream the show in itunes it will multitask and you hear the same things although you will not get the bonus material which is good.. Please update and find a work around then I will give it 5 stars!!!!!

It's not just about the App . . . .. Good podcasters provide a great service. Most of them do it for the love of it - not the money. But podcasters and their families still have to eat. A couple of dollars to buy this App is a very small price to pay for the hours and hours of news and entertainment we listeners receive in return. If you're interested in all things Apple - especially things related to the iPhone, iPod Touch and the new iPad - then the TII Podcast is for you! Oh! . . . By the way, this App is not bad either. Tii helps me get the most from iPhone & iPad. I started listening to the Today in iOS podcast about a year ago, and after only two episodes, I knew I needed this app... before it was free. Notifications from this app have prevented me from downloading problematic iOS updates, and the info from each episode has made me the go-to guy to fix problems for friends and family. If you are not listening to this podcast, you don't know how much you don't know that your iPhone & iPad can do.

Great app for a great podcast. Love every aspect of this app. The perfect add on to the podcast. The ability to play the podcast in the background from the app is great. I love learning something I didn't know before from the bonus tips. You can also visit the Today in iPhone website to check out the links that are mentioned in the podcast and then go back to the podcast without ever leaving the app, which is fantastic.

Terrific way to stay current on all things iOS. An easy to use app to consume the today in iOS podcast. Very user friendly interface, with night/day car modes, archives of all past episodes, quarterly reports, and other useful PDFs that Rob is so kind as to send push notifications when new material becomes available. The best way to consume the Tii podcast!!

TII Podcast App is a real winner. Just like the Today In Iphone Podcast, this app is a real winner. I like the ease of use since the app puts many features at your finger tips. The addition of the Extras is a brilliant idea making the app well worth the price. If you listen and enjoy the podcast as I do, purchasing this app is a great way to support Rob and his efforts. The podcast king.. If you enjoy podcasts you've got to respect Rob Walsh. This guy is behind the scenes in many of your favorite podcast shows. This is the longest running podcast on iOS. In fact he started the podcast before the iPhone even came out. Go back and listen to episodes when the only way to install an app was through sideeeya (misspelled on purpose) If you want to learn more about the device in your hand this is the app to have.

Totally awesome to get your Tii fix!!!. Great addition for fans of the podcast! Love how it streams over EDGE as well as 3G (when I can get it) and WIFI when I can't synch it to the laptop. Great show. This is a great show to listen to for all things about iPhone and iOS. It is worth the donation to get push notifications when a new show is available to listen to. Plus I can get all the links in the show notes and go check out what is there on my own. You can start the shows and back out of the app and do other things while listening. Works great well worth the money!

If you want to know whats going on in Apple OS. Rob produces a great podcast. He is always spot on regarding what's going on In IOS. I never miss a show and I encourage you to not miss a show either. Go to Today in IOS and listen to the podcast and you will understand why you need this app. I listen in my car and when out and about. His podcast are released once a week sometimes once every two week but it is always worth the wait. Now that Rob has exposed YAR shady practice of paying for reviews, I am hesitant to give 5 stars. This is a real review, not a review for payment.

Okay, but underwhelming. I love TII's podcast and heard a lot about the app. Decided to try it. Podcast player doesn't skip back 30 secs when select the button for downloaded podcasts (and then crashes). Extras are underwhelming. UI is poorly done. All in all, not really worth the cost. And charging extra for push? Almost feels like nickel-and-diming the loyal customer who download. I'm considering deleting this and just telling myself it is donation to Rob. Great podcast, lackluster app. Sorry.

Best iPhone/iPod touch app ever!. For those of you who haven't listened to Rob's podcast, Today in iPhone, you're missing a real treat. Unlike so many tech podcasts peopled by amateur comedians, this one is strickly filled with pertinent information....LOTS of information that is well researched and presented. I've been waiting for the app for some time now and am already enjoying all the extras and easy access to past podcasts. Fantastic!

The best way to get my insider iPhone FIX. Thanks for creating a lot of value and packaging it up tightly in this App. The insider tips, 3rd party resources discovered and lousy iPhone products avoided by the reviews make this the best $1.99 I’ve spent through the iTunes store. I also really like the hidden tips offered only through the Tii Podcast App – such as how to create one more screen for my mountain of mobile material.

Disappointed.. I was expecting very intelligent design in this app, but it falls short. Getting to the links mentioned in the episodes, the primary reason for my three bucks, involves too many steps. And once you've clicked on an episode link to see it in the in-app browser, after you click "Done" shouldn't it go back to the list of links? As with the links, the episode descriptions are truncated, not long enough to decide if I'm interested -- why not give a full title instead of wasting that space with duplication? Little things are lame--like why not indicate if an app is iPad, iPhone, or universal? A 30-second forward button would be useful. Bigger things, like ugly design. My expectations were high, and the app quite mediocre. While the show often has insight and helpful gems, the smug and cloying tone of the podcaster, as well as the sycophantic tone of the recorded callers both get old and grating. Overall, a mixed bag for me. Occasionally good content, but hard to listen to compared to other podcasts, formulaic and a monotonous voice, and the app itself could be so much better. Just sayin'.

No brainer. I'm new to the pod cast but it doesnt take long to recognize quality. If you love your iPhone, you'll want to get the most from it. That's what this apps all about and then some. Let's show this guy our support hell you'd give a bum on the corner $2. Why not this guy. He's at leist providing a valuable service. Lol. ( I do not mean to imply the host is a bum). 

Fantastic Show and App. I listen to many tech shows, but Rob is the most honest and consistent host. The interaction of the diverse audience polishes off the authenticity of the reviews, opinions, and free-apps. Great support for a great show. I bought the app mostly to support the show. It alerts when there's a new podcast & gives an easy way to access show notes & contact the show. Can also be used to listen, but I prefer all my podcasts in one place. :-)

Little on Offer. This app. offers little more than the free podcasts on which it is based. Whilst it has a listing of all past podcasts, you will use up valuable data in listening to them this way. Better to download them and sync. them then you can listen to them anytime, anywhere with very little cost.

Come on Rob. If this was a rating for the show itself I would give 4 stars WHEN its available. But this app is giving me nothing but an appreciation donation to the show. I was looking for bonus material I could not get from the show. We get bonus material in this app, but its tidbits from past episodes from what I have listened too. Great show but from my understanding you are receiving a paycheck and this app is generating two bucks a pop. So lets get a set schedule together.

A great Tii app for everybody. This is an excellent app, you get up-to-the-minute timely news about everything that's going on in the Apple eco-system. As far as a being a visually impaired person I give kudos to this app for its high degree of accessibility there only a few problems and some of the unlabeled buttons I would recommend this app to everybody.

Great App Rob. I had a few problem because I'm a bad boy and Jailbroke it but tonight it's working perfect. Can you add push so we addicits can find out when a new show is up? Keep it up Rob glag to support TII and you least I can do.

Tii. Over the course of time that I have had this app I have thoroughly enjoyed using it especially because of the push notifications those come in handy when finding out if a new episode is ready to play.

A great app!. For those of us that can't wait for what comes next, this app is the way to listen to the show. Previously, I downloaded the show to one of me iPods via my computer, but now I get the show as soon as it is released! A great way to stay informed of all things iOS as well. Love it.

Excellent!!!!. I listen to many podcasts. But when this one drops its weekly episodes, all the rest get put on hold until its done. Rob posts so much good information. You just gotta listen. Plus all the extras you get with the Tii app make it that much more useful!!!! Thanks Rob!!!!

Awesome. Rob keep up the good work with this app. It is awesome. I don't usually stream it I rather do it the original way which is download it on the iPhone. It has come in handy when I wanna download and can't cuz I'm not on wifi. But this app is a must have if you own any iOS device.

This app is great!!!. Love this app, helps me stay up on my absolute favorite podcast. I really can't say enough about the podcast and how much good info it puts out. If you own a iPhone and don't listen to it, shame.

The ONLY iOS podcast!. Listened to every podcast- even before the 1st iPhone came out. Rob has rarely been off the mark with his unbiased insight. This podcast gives the most informative and useful news and has listener input. It's exactly what I want in an iOS podcast.

Works fine. The interface takes some getting used to, but otherwise it works fine.

The app is OK, but the content is king!. The best part about this app is the content. It could just be me, but the minimalistic rewind and fast-forward options are the most annoying part. I love all the different sections, and the archival is cool.… but then again, it could all go back to the content, which again is great. I'm going to shut up now, because I'm starting to sound like a fanboy.

App Experience Super!. The TII app is the best all in one app to go to for information on your iOS device. The app pulls together all that Rob has to offer the listener in an easy to use interface. Don't forget push notifications and an easy way to mark your favorite episodes.

Great App. Awesome Podcast.. This app is a great way to enjoy the Today in iOS (Tii) podcast. Of the hundreds of apps I own, these guys do the best job of keeping their UI simple but fresh with features. I strongly recommend the upgrade for push notifications as these have saved me $ that has more than offset the upgrade cost.

Today In iPhone App. I love the App Rob. All the bonus content you create is great. I love being able to click twice and hear your podcast. So much easier than downloading and syncing. Well worth two bucks. I work with you, but I bought the App personally.

Best IOS podcast. I've been listening to this podcast since I bought my first iPhone (3G) other shows came and went away bought yours is still strong. Thanks for the cool app (I bought a long time ago).

Love your show - hate the app. Every time I open the app it resets to the beginning of the show - even after asking to continue. Not fun trying to fast forward in 30 sec intervals. WORST is that it keeps defaulting back to display shows oldest first!!! So annoying. Also tried fast forwarding 30 seconds while phone locked, no dice, it forwards to the next show. Will be switching back to listening with Tunein Radio Pro.

Always fun and informative!. There are a few foundation iOS podcasts in my library, and for years now, this one has been the rock star of the "G rated" side of the sandbox. And always # 1 or #2 anywhere in the iOS podcast universe...

Most informative iOS podcast out there!. I've been listening for a couple of years now, and have to say Robs advice and information is spot on! If you're trying to convert anyone to the Apple ecosystem, just refer them to the Tii podcast. Most important, Rob is " balanced" and factual in his advice and reviews, this amounts to solid credibility in my book!
