So-So. The first test I needed to look up, vitamin B12, along with methylmalonic acid and homocysteine, was absent.

Spelling errors. Nice app - but please fix all the spelling errors! Having such basic errors makes one question the validity of the rest of the information...

Psych med monitoring needed!!. Please add guidelines for monitoring psychotropics, especially lithium levels.

Light weight -Waste of money. Very superficial. Missing information on many tests, such as Kidney function, STDs.

Bad app. Keeps crashing and cannot see any information. Will report to Apple for refund.

Great. I'm loving this app! Had a issue at the start. But within a hour they had it fixed. The best customer service. Now everything works and I'm enjoying learning about the lab test. This is a must have for anyone that is interested in learning about the lab.

Its very helpful. Where are the test tubes, their colors, additives?? I hope u guys can do some updates! Is there anything out there for Phlebotomists??

Didn’t show price. I assumed this app was free since it did not show a price. It charged me $4.99. There is a better app out there that is only $2.99

Great app. Now I can read my labs.. Great app. Now I can acually read & understand my monthly lab test. Thank for giving me that power to understand my own lab test situation. Thank's for this great tool.

Lame app. It does not include all the tests and terms of lab. Also these kind of apps they don't tell you how to perform a test its just reference range and clinical info associated with it. I bought it at full price of 5.99 instead should have looked for other free once like LabDX that's much batter.

No use without subscription. This didn’t indicate you had to purchase a monthly subscription in order to use this app.

Urine?. I wouldn't say this is the "best" app. That has yet to be created. This is fairly common info on blood tests in an easy look-up format. However a lot still left to be desired for the Critical Care, PACU, NICU or ER RN. (not to exclude other areas)

some tube colors wrong. The info was great, right on but the color of the lab tubes for the electrolytes - and labs that require green and gold tubes were all red tubes for some reason so that part was way off. Please fix that -

How often I've wanted to know.. I'm a phlebotomist and even though I know how to draw blood, often it's nice to know why you are drawing the blood. This is a great app for lab personnel, esp. phlebs. Thanks!!!

Good. Its a good app but wish it could identify the kidney labs and it is missing some labs as well

TUBE COLORS. ARE THE COLORS OF THE TUBING FOR COLLECTING BLOOD SAMPLES SUPPOSED TO BE UNIVERSAL? FOR EXAMPLE, WE USE DARK GREEN TUBE FOR TROPONIN AT OUR HOSPITAL. RED TOP IS PICTURED IN THIS SOFTWARE. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN THIS 5 STARS AND WOULD STILL DO IF THIS CAN BE CUSTOMIZED.

It’s ok. You get some of the information but for all the categories you have have to pay for it.

iPhone 5 support. The app is NOT supported for iPhone 5 even though in the description it says so. So misleading.

A great med reference app. Its not perfect but its good. One can learn a lot of from its diff dx guide from its lab interpretation. Thanks :)

Pathetic. Nice interface, and it has a lot of potential. Unfortunately the library is too thin to justify the expense. For $10 I expect a fairly complete set of labs. As an example: to test for HIT (heparin induced thrombocytopenia) the first draw is PF4 (platelet factor 4), a positive result is then followed by SRA (serotonin release assay). Neither of these tests are in here. I wonder how many other tests are missing.

Robust reference for common serum tests. Good UI with intelligent search features (eg searching for PTT returns 'Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time')--not always a given in reference apps. The short essays accompanying reference ranges for each test are actually really helpful especially for less common tests whose significance or utility may not be readily remembered. All that said, I hope to see other labs added in future updates. Currently, only blood work is included. It would truly be an all-around great pocket lab reference if values/interps for other commonly ordered tests such as CSF, urinalysis, etc. were included. I give it 5 stars for doing what it says it does but hope the developer will enrich it with additional tests which would make it worth even more.

good for students. This will be very helpful as a student in the clinical setting, good review of information, reference values, etc. and much easier to reference than textbook (lighter too:)). Only four stars because, especially for the price, it needs some procedure and patient care information... fasting / non fasting, collection information such as tube color, other special patient instructions, etc.

Me!!!!. I am a nurse and this is the best app I have found on iPhone for labs. It explains the possible cause for high or low lab results, others don't give that. Other than carrying a lab book around I carry my phone which I already carry anyway. AWESOME APP. KUDOS!!!!

Great !!!!!! But.............. I also have noticed that some of the cardiac funtion tests are missing mainly the BNP unless I over looked. But from what I have seen so far it will be a good reference for work and study

Very Good and Must Get Better. I'm a patient there will be more of us using this app then "Health" Care Providers. My 4 page sick care lab report has the ranges in it but not the great info in this app, thanks. My 15 page health care lab report has vitamin and mineral panels. This Lab Test app, in categories, does not have these tests. In fact, the app does not even have the standard vitamin B12 numbers. This must be just an oversight. I am confident you are interested in your customers health and will include vit/min in ver 3.0 I gave U 4 stars. U get the 5th star when 3.0 hits with vit/min tnx

Great app.. This is one of the most useful of my 120 odd apps. The level of information is well targeted to paramedics, nurses med students & junior docs. Well worth the money.

Great program. Every med student with an iPhone should have this. The detail on each test in this app is great for study. Ranges are provided as well as a pictorial guide for selecting collection tubes. The GUI is slick, fast and never crashes.

Rip off. Bought the app quite a while ago when everything was still included. Latest update changed all that... now they want you to pay for stuff that was previously free. Not worth it any more, much better Apps out there than this one!

Great App. For the guy that mentioned HBA1C is not there I would maybe check again as I found it. Any common test which most health care proffesionals would order are within this app. Many docs would do well to review the material within this app and actually learn it. I doubt the more obscure tests like ca125 may be in here but there are more than enough of your routine tests to look up and some not so routine. I'm a lab tech and this app is a fantastic reference to lab values as well as great explanations for the tests themselves. I did notice in the coag section that there is no D Dimer listed, which is another pretty standard test, maybe add that in an upgrade. I see ddimer has been added. Adding the colour of tube to draw for specific tests is a good idea. One caveat though is that not all labs use the same tube types mention so for those nurses using it to know which tube type to collect, follow your labs tube preferences as each instrument may be set up slightly different.

Great. Very nice for quick reference. I noticed someone asked about the d-dimer it's located under enzymes & proteins instead of coagulation for some reason.

Disappointed. Paid for the app, now they've gone freemium and want me to pay again to see basic tests like digoxin level, gentamicin level, urinary glucose etc. Not a classy move, and all things considered this app is getting replaced on my phone with one of the many alternatives.

Not that many tests. THis app is ok, but saying that it has hundreds of tests it's a lie. It actually has 119 tests. I would've thought a bit more before paying $6, had I known that it only has this amount of tests. You can improve it though and then I'll give you a better feedback.

Don't buy it. Update of this program only occurs rarely and the content is rather on the poor side for what a physician should know. This may be adequate for a nursing student but IMHO is insufficient for medical residents and practicing physicians.

Not for Canadians. Conventional Canadian units are often missing. Also, the values given are often out of sync with other reference materials (eg. Toronto notes, Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program reference sheet).

Not Complete. Does not cover all laboratory tests. For instance, Hgb A1c is missing. Very limited for health professionals. Hardly any updates. I definitely do not recommend this application.

Emergency Fellow. This is a great application for situations where you need to run an uncommon test - It gives you all of the information about the test and it's results as well as providing all the information on the common tests! I hope my residents.take a look at it as well.
