Does not work on updated iOS. I have a fully updated brand new iPhone 14. App will not open.

Great way to learn Mongolian language. Love to words, sample sentences and ability to record my speaking and compare it to the teacher.

No good for learning. My wife is Mongolian and can't understand why they put so many stupid and useless words. I think the developer needs to get an English translator for there word selection and redevelop if they want this to sell. But please don't, me and my wife will start working on our own app. She needs something to pass the time.

Solid tool. Simple and effective words. Pronunciation is good. When it crashes though your wordbank is lost. That is what keeps it from being 4 stars.

Like it. Has lots of vocab, wish to be able to turn on automatic shuffle instead of manually advancing each word. Audio is clear.

Well structured. Has a “top 100” most common words and progresses from there. Exactly what I needed.

App itself is fine but the Mongolian who put the content in has done a typically poor job.. No attention to detail. Many mistakes. Many times failed to highlight relevant portions in blue. Many times the word on the flash card is not used in the example sentence given at the bottom of the card. So disappointed

Great App. This is a fantastic app if you want to learn some basic Mongolian or if you just want to get the feel of the language :)

Turn off notifications?. Getting a new word everyday is great but I really don't like the audible notification of the new word at midnight every night. I searched through the app and didn't find a way to turn this off.

GREAT AFTER UPDATE!. I would have originally have given this app 2 stars, but after the recent update, it is amazing! I have the paid, full-version, and highly recommend it despite the steeper than average price. Now has great photos, subjects, and most importantly - plenty of sample sentences -- all which include audio recordings! I love it. Only recommendation would be more words and grammar lessons. Thanks!

Meh..... I dont like the words they gave. I'd rather learn some basic words and the pronunciation of each consonant and vowel.

Excellent free app!. This is a re-review... When I first got the app, it was kludgy and unreliable, often providing only the English pronunciations, and sometimes sending no sound file at all. BUT the developers have since redesigned the app and not only fixed it for future words, but also restored all of the words already in my word bank -- with phrase variations, which were altogether missing from the first version. It's a cool enough free app that I'm considering upgrading to the full version. (Words and phrases are great, but they aren't enough to learn a language.) I'm hoping the full version is as excellent as the free version. Thanks for listening & responding, Gengo folks!

Great so far!. I'm spending a few weeks in Mongolia and thought it'd pay off to study up a bit. Seems like a great app, helps with Cyrillic alphabet and really seems to have all the info well presented.

OK. This is ok but pretty worthless if you expect to learn anything that would get you by in Mongolia. Many of the words are obscure, you probably wouldn't use them until much more advanced in skill, or maybe NEVER! I wonder who has made this? A native speaker? Some of the definitions are henky. Everybody calls a car "masheen", (like machine) for instance, not the 2 word and multiple syllabled words they gave. Is there a metro in UB? Oh, it must be in the Gobi.... Would like to see more relevant words with a goal of making my way around with some basic vocab and grammar.

Improving. Program is good but word definitions, as is case with most Mongolian Dictionaries, are often not very accurate.

Hearing and seeing. I love the interactive use of hearing the words and seeing the Cyrillic letters. You can record your own pronunciation. The word of the day prompts you to keep learning.

A top assist with Mongolian. This is a very good way to learn Mongolian

Great app. Just started using this app, it seems easy to learn how to pronounce words with both viewing the written word and the spoken example that can be replayed. This would be a difficult language to lean for a westerner, but with this app I think it makes it much much easier to learn pronunciation of sounds we don’t have in English language. Very good!

Flash cards are great. I use this for the flash cards and the native speaker pronunciation. Good app!

Mongol words. This app is invaluable to anyone learning Mongolian. It is very useful to hear the pronunciation of the words, especially in the context of phrases and sentences. The app is very limited, and can at most supplement other materials and tools. But it is very good for what it is designed to do, and well designed, so it is a pleasure to use.
