Kind of boring. I love fractals but this app doesn't have much. I feel that I wasted $2.99. After 5 minutes of using the app I found it very limiting and boring. It will be deleted

Great, a few quirks though.. As to be expected, the further you zoom into the Mandelbrot, the longer it's going to take to render. That's my only quirk, other than that, this app is spot on.

Fractals not worth it for schools. Attention educators, This app is one that I would not recommend for schools. After an examination of the entire app I do not think that buying this app is a necessary thing to do for schools. The app does not offer the students to much options becuase it soley focuses on creating images and manipulating fractal equations. This is not a teaching device because there is no way to determine if a student has done a task correctly and the students are not given feedback by the app itself. The students can explore their images and save them into an album, but that is the only evidence the app can provide of student work. Computers can do all the tasks this app does and I think that the money it would take to but this app would not be worth. Hope this helps you all when you are deciding whether or not to buy this.

Absurdly slow rendering. Even on low res settings. Perhaps better with iPod than iPad. This was a poor purchase and want a refund.

weak: recomputes everything every time. cute, slower than crap. this is why we went out of our way to invent cacheing, precomputed lookup tables, and write special routines like "updateRect" for redrawing just a portion of the screen. these are basic necessities for limited hardware. extra star for being free.

Awsome!. This is a Beautiful app that is so amazing to explore! Definitely recommend it. Not many problems, but there is if you zoom in too much it stops working but that's okay

Great fractal control. The most interactive fractal app I've used. The varsity is amazing. Hopefully there will be more color options in the future.

Very little control. As an artist, I was hoping for more options. There is no way to change out the black to any other color than black, and the rest of the colors only offer a slider and not color numbers that you can assign. Also no way to increase or decrease the number of colors. Not worth the money.

Very good app. I really like this fractals generator, but I give it four stars for now as I wish these improvements can be made: - larger resolution of the saved images, it's even less than the iPad's screen, and you won't be able to use it on your computers desktop of course, too small. I wish that when you save the fractal to the photo album, it would render it at higher resolution. Also, use PNG instead of JPG, otherwise the beautiful image gets distorted with JPG compression. - fill the black color in the fractal shapes with the one from the palette, otherwise some fractals look a bit gloomy. - more fractal models! How about Lichtenberg figure for example?

Horrible icon!. Why does the Fractal app that makes the most beautiful images have to have the most hideous Icon??? It ruins any page on my iPhone! Please make a new one that’s not hot pink and yellow!

Exciting, beautiful, meditative. I am a color junkie. I am a math junkie. I am a pattern junkie. This app is perfection for me. The graphics are wonderful and the pattern flows are beautifully done. I could. and often do, veg out on this when I'm problem-solving. Seems to trigger all the right neurons.

Wow!. This is an amazing App. It uses the iPad's multi-touch interface very intuitively. It's the best of the Fractal Apps I've found. I could spend hours playing and creating. The ability to save and quickly share makes it very fun.

"The Thumbprint Of God". That was the term Arthur C Clark used when referring to The 'M' Set, insomuch that one can see all kinds of various natural forms in this simple equation. Perhaps it's the formula used by nature herself when creating coral reefs, seahorses, elephants, ferns, and the plethora of familiar organic shapes revealed in a Mandelbrot zoom. This app is fantastic! The colors: Vibrant. The zooms go into infinity. None of the 'crashes' one experiences in some of the lesser fractal generators out there. I LOVE it! My favorite iPad app so-far.

Fun. Very fun app for creating fractals pictures on iPhone.

Great starter for understanding Fractals. I really appreciate this work. Certainly worth the $2.99 price tag. Hope it grows with more possibilities and options.

Gets Boring Very Quickly. Not much to this app. Got bored with it very fast.

Amazing but could use minor improvements. This is an awesome app but could use more color options, better graphics quality, and the ability to save images without the menu on top (maybe just like a watermark or something).

Waste. Extremely limited for the 2.99 price tag. Would be great if they let us put in our own equations.

Good idea, Needs work. Likes: variety of equations, fast zooming. Dislikes: poor palette control, doesn't save state well. Slow final render. Interface is clunky.

Fractals totally worth it for schools. Awesome app, and an excellent way for secondary teachers to inspire and motivate students to explore and understand post-calculus topics!!!

Best Fractal app for iPod. Render times are shorter than any other one I've used, does not go to infinity but you can spend 10 minutes trying to get there. Depth and technical options are much great. Buy this app!

Fractal Love. The levels of tiny this app can reach makes me happy. I'm by no means mathematically inclined, but seeing the iterations this way helps me to understand what I've been reading about a little better. I like having the ability to choose my colors. The zoom feature allows for a fair amount of delving into the details.

Great way to explore fractals!. This looks and works beautifully on iPhone 6.

Now crashes. App now crashes on opening on iPhone 7+...

It okay but.... Work fine on my iPad but it will not install on to my iPod touch. Fix that and I'll give it another star, or two....
