Even works with Windows XP on Mac. NumPad is a fantastic app which not only works with Mac programs on my MacBook Pro but also with Windows XP programs running on my Mac through Parallels Desktop. For the Windows side to work I downloaded RealVNC Free Edition for XP and then used Windows's On Screen Keyboard utility found in Start >> All Programs >> Accessories >> Accessibity and clicking the virtual "nlk" key (number lock) using the mouse in that utility so that the key has a red line around it and changes to white "nlk" letters on a black background (you only have to do this one time ever, then close the utility). The NumPad author wrote me that a number lock toggle will be added soon in the next update of NumPad -- but you can use this fix until then if you also want to use NumPad on your Mac for such Windows XP programs as Quicken (rather than the less-full-featured Mac version of Quicken). The author has FAQ files on his website for help with such things as how to set your Mac's firewall to work with NumPad. He also was quick to answer my emails and was very helpful to me in setting the program up. I like the different styles of keys on the NumPad virtual keyboard which match different looking computer keyboards. I've been looking for the best way to have a numeric keypad with my laptops, for use with programs like Photoshop and Quicken, ever since switching from a desktop computer many years ago. NumPad fills the bill excellently and it is priced very fairly.

Works great...just one small beef. This app works great. It's a fantastic option for MacBook Pro users. I highly recommend it. My only gripe would be that visually the decimal point button looks like a semi-colon in an attempt to incorporate both US and international standards. It's visually distracting. It would be great if there were a separate version for the US without the comma since the two are not interchangeable within a given standard. It seems small, but it slows down your work given that you have to look where you're typing on a touchpad.

With this app, only Sibelius itself stands between us and Nirvana. OMG, I just set up NumPad to work with Sibelius over an Ad-Hoc WiFi network. Took 45 seconds and now I can access my full Sibelius Keypads and SEE what the functions are for each layer. This is WONDERFUL!!! And now, if only Sibelius would do the smart thing and let us customize keypads (I've told them this biannually for about six years to which they always reply, "Good idea! We'll do that one day." Raaaaight…) then we'd *really* be in business. This app is perfect, as far as I can tell.

Won’t connect!!. I have trouble with the password. It won’t connect without a password (aggh). Which one do I use? The computer one, Sibelius one or something else?

Am I missing something?. Got this app because I really enjoy touchpad but wanted numerical entry and musical notation seemed great. The numerical keyboard x button does not work as a backspace and the lack of a delete feature makes this irritating to use. For excel, navigational features or something like a mouse or 4-directional control on the same screen as the numbers would make this more functional. Also I could only get 2 of the screens to work, no musical notes, but perhaps this is because I tried it on a computer that does not have Sibelius on it.

Connection trouble. I've had this for a year and used it frequently with Mac computer. I got a new MacBook Pro and the app won't connect at all with it. Help me please

Works perfectly on both my iPhone and iPad Pro. This app works as advertised and let me input strings of numbers into an Excel spreadsheet from either my iPad Pro or my iPhone. I love it. Although you do have to read the help file in the instructions on how to get it to work with your MacBook. To do so go to Utilities and help and read how to hook it up. You need to turn on screen sharing on your Mac. Finally if I could get this to work so that the numeric keypad was on my iPhone and I could enter numbers into Excel on my iPad Pro it would be perfect and I pay for a separate app.

Perfect with Sibelius!. I use Sibelius and this is fantastic! Works better than a dedicated keypad because the music symbols appear on the keypad. Swiping between layouts is elegant and stays in sync with Sibelius. I can't say enough about it. And, if you don't have a wifi network, you don't need bluetooth, just create a network from your laptop's wifi network and presto! Thank you thank you!

Wow!. I got an Apple Wireless Keyboard a few weeks ago for my 24" iMac and have found myself missing the numeric keypad for use in things like Quicken. Just downloaded this and went to the Edovia website for the easy directions to get it going. Works beautifully! Looks great, too! And to think I was looking for a far more expensive Bluetooth external numeric keypad...

Super!. My old reliable bluetooth keyboard gave out, so I ordered the wireless keyboard and magic trackpad from Apple. Only downside to the wireless keyboard is no numeric keypad. So the old "there's an app for that" kicked in. I found this app, payed my $5.00, and waited for it to work. It didn't (it was hung up for some reason, searching for a server). I hit the + sign in the upper left of the app's screen, and voila, there's my server. It just put it through Excel, which is about the only place I'd use this heavily. Just marvelous! Yup, it just works. That's the best I can ever say about an app.

Great App, Only Two Complaints. This does exactly what it advertises and is pretty straightforward to set up. My only complaints are that I wish the keys would change color when pressed (they do, but only just barely) and that there was a way to type a comma. There's a key with what appears to be a semicolon, but it actually types a period. If it's supposed to type either a period or comma, I can't figure out how.

Income Tax Made Easy!. Every year at tax time I search for a numeric keypad for my MacBook to fill in the spreadsheets that I use to calculate expenses, etc. The only usb/bluetooth options are $60+ and have mixed reviews. I have used a full keyboard--bulky; Used the MacBook keyboard--slow. NumPad has solved the problem at a fraction of the cost with hardware I already have--my iPod! It is fast, works great and sure beats using the other options. My only suggestion: add a preference option or (even better) split the ENTER key to allow for TAB (lateral movement on the spreadsheet).

Extremely useful and simple to setup. I use Blender 3D a lot, and many of the most used hotkeys are on the numpad. Too bad I'm using a MacBook...no numpad! I usually have an external keyboard, but those are bulky, and hard to travel with. With this incredible app, all of my numpad troubles have been taken care of! No more pulling out that bulky, travel-unfriendly keyboard! Highly recommended!

Quick and easy setup with Sibelius. It only took a minute to setup this app to use with Sibelius. It’s a simple as going into the settings for numpad, touch help and follow their very easy instructions. I was up and running with Sibelius in no time. Now I don’t have to go buy an external keypad for traveling. I have two numerical keypads at home and only one is functional with Sibelius. I checked and all keys are working great, even the arrow to scroll over to the other menus within the keypad on your computer screen for things like fermatas, tremolos, beams etc. Wow! So happy to know this works so great!

Worth it if you use Sibelius heavily. I thought $20 was too much too, but my computer keyboard doesn't have a numeric keypad and having this app is an awesome time saver. It works particularly nice when inputting notes with a midi keyboard. You can have the phone in one hand and the other hand on the keyboard: super fast note entry!

Really Disappointed. First off. Doesnt connect. Second, Wifi??? wont connect via cord or BT? seriously? I have been working on this for more than an hour and no progress at all. Followed the instructions provided, nada! Please refund my 3.99 back.

Great!. This app is a makes entering numbers easy. Most laptops require you to hold down a function key while pressing a number button, and this app Eliminates that. I took one star off because you can't hold down the number. This is importiant in the videogame "Garry's Mod", because the numberpad keys act as triggers that cause different things to happen. If Edovia make this an option, I will edit this review to be 5 stars.

Great App! Use adhoc WIFI network for best results. This is a great solution for pro composers/arrangers trying to use Sibelius on mobile laptop rigs. If you're having problems connecting, trying creating an adhoc network from your laptop first, then flip your iPhone into airplane mode, wait 30 seconds, then turn on iPhone wifi and find your adhoc network. Once it connects, it's rock solid. Thank you for making this! I can't imagine working without it.

Good app but.... So far this is a good app but I don't know why it does not work via bluetooth. I can foresee problems getting this to work on public networks and what about when there is no network around (yes there are still places without wireless internet). Plus bluetooth would be easer to setup than this was. But for use with a home network this is a good app.

!!sibelius key pad!!. Glad to see this. I have wanted a number pad since I got my MacBook Air only reason was Sibelius. So thanks! It looks really great having the visual feedback of the notes on the keys. I am very excited to get to work. It is slightly buggy on personal hotspot mode which will be necessary for coffee shop composing. But I feel like that is just general Sibelius glitching out. If ur curious you can list to music I make with my alt orchestra sebastian and the deep blue. And know your keypad is being put to good use! Thanks.

Great app, great customer support.. Ok, connection problems? No worries, their friendly customer support is there for you. I submitted my problems to Edovia customer support and got a quick and friendly response. They were able to guide me step by step until I was able to connect and use my NumPad app. Not to mention the app is sharp and stylish with their cool space gray, gold and silver color. The NumPad is great when using a laptop. Considering that most laptops don’t have a side numeric pad. Again, customer support is also important. I will give them a 5 star rating for the great customer support they provided and of course the app is a time saver and helps if you’re a number person.

Working with Excel Spreadsheets just became bearable on a Mac. If not for this numpad app, I wouldn't have even thought about doing Payroll worksheets using the Mac keyboard. Only problem with this app, it gets disconnected sometimes (even though it still shows it is currently connected). But it is easily fixed by exiting out of the App and relaunching it. Overall, it was worth every penny.

Great for iPhone, could be better for iPad. Does exactly what they claim it doesWould be nicer if (1) it worked via USB cable or Bluetooth as well as wi-fi, and (2) if the screen rotated to look as it does on the iPhone, when using the app on an iPad Mini in landscape mode. Those two enhancements would make it perfect. Maybe on the iPad version they could also add arrow keys, 'Home', 'End', 'Page Up', 'Page Down', and a scrolling area to control the mouse... That would make working on complex spreadsheets an absolute joy!

Bait and switch. A great app before MartianCraft landed on it. It was certainly nice when the purchasers of this app got the Sibelius and Finale keypads without having to make in-app purchases. Glad I kept the 4.0 version. Shame on you, MartianCraft.

Don’t even want a regular keypad now. I wasn’t about to pay $4 for a wireless keypad app, I’d sooner spend $50 on a real one. But as soon as I saw it’s adaptive for Sibelius I bought it without hesitation. I’m happy to say that it works, although it was a little tricky to hook up to my MacBook. But the fact that I can look at my phone to see the notes instead of having to look at the computer screen and hit the corresponding key is wonderful. I no longer have to have that ugly keypad on my screen. I haven’t tested the app without Wi-Fi, and I’m not sure if it’ll work without Wi-Fi. It’d be a shame because Sibelius is an offline app, and this app should be able to work with Bluetooth to give the same result.

This is my Unibody Macbook Pro's new best friend.. Works great on home network. Looks very professional. Good attention to details. I cannot get it to join the network of two bookstore cafés I visit (Books-A-Million and Barnes & Noble). One suggestion: Have the keypad screen be able to rotate 180°. This will keep the power cable at the top leading away from the iPhone like a mouse. This is a wonderful and well programed application with the best instructions I have ever seen. Very good job and well worth getting. I hope to figure out how to join the café networks. Thanks

Great, useful App. Superlative support. This app does everything it's supposed to and does so elegantly and seamlessly. It's even better now with the greater screen real estate of the iPhone 6 plus. In this day of little keyboards without keypads it is just so handy. I initially couldn't get it to work when I bought the iPhone 6 and then screwed up in requesting support. In a regrettable fit of pique I posted a one star review. I tried again and got instant support on a Saturday with thorough follow up. I'm sorry I was a jerk and allowed the one star review to stay up until today. The App is fantastic. So is Steve from the support group. Buy this App and you won't regret it.

Perfect for Pro Tools BUT..... I just installed PT 8 on my MBP. Stupid MAC keyboard won't do basic key stroke commands that make using Pro Tools a pain. After a quick search on the web I found thus app. IT IS AWESOME!!! It works perfectly and I can do simple things like "nudge" and call up windows, and enter markers etc... BUT... I REALLY NEED it to connect via blue tooth so I can use it in hotels and on the plane. Five stars coming when that works... Otherwise, thanks! It's really great!!!

Talk about a productivity booster. Invaluable for getting a lot of data entered quickly and rapidly. Pro tool for people with billable work to get done.

Glorious. By far an excellent solution to anyone who doesn't have a keypad. I had some issues with setup initially but customer service responded within 20 minutes to my email (turns out I misinterpreted terminology and the app worked just fine). I'm looking forward to using this app for many years to come! Well worth it!

Flawless. Work precisely and support is fast.. An application that does what you want in exactly the way that you want it. Flawlessly. Intuitively. Once set up (taking only a few minutes) all you need do is turn it on and it's active within a second or two. Refreshing in that this application is does one thing, and does it very, very well. It has made my iPod Touch become an indispensable companion to my MacBook. Thumbs up without reservations.

Not proving useful for Finale. The app is paired properly from iPhone and iPad, but does not assign note values in Simple Entry. Arrow keys work, Enter works, and I can use the numeric keys for Calculator and text entry. Have written customer support at dev website, but received no response.

ipod totuch users be warrned-no bluetooth pairing. unfortunately I didnt realize that the ipod touch CANNOT use bluetooth to connect to a computer; you will be able to pair it nothing else will work. The only option for ipod touch users is Wifi-which if you are home is ok but be warned. The only reason that I dinged it two stars was because this was not clear anywhere that I could readily see; it claims you must tether your iphone to enable the bluetooth pairing, but it does not explicitly say that the ipod touch can only use wifi. other than that this is a solid app that can make buy new keyboards a little easier to do since chances are that you wont normally be traveling with a full keyboard.

Great ten key!. It does what it says. The input is super fast, as if it was a wired peripheral. Just make sure to read the help section in order to set it up, because it’s not intuitive!

Works well but not since upgrade to iOS 14. Was working well, but once I upgraded to iOS 14, it stopped finding and connecting to my computer. If/when it can connect again to my computer, I would give this app five stars. Update: I got it to work after disabling and then reenabling remote management on my MacBook. Developer was responsive to my request for help. So I just upgraded my review from 4 to 5 stars.

Doesn't Work w/RealVNC. The app description says it works with RealVNC (and that RealVNC is recommended) but it doesn't. It says, "The selected authentication type is not supported by the computer." (I could probably get it to work if I turned off authentication on VNC, but I have a port open to the Internet so there is no way I would want to run VNC without password and encryption.) Oh well, time to find another app.

Works exactly as promised. Once I figured out how to connect to my computer, the app has worked flawlessly and I will probably buy the Sibelius laout for my music notation program, despite the hefty $20 upgrade price tag (not all that much cheaper than a hardware USB keypad, albeit more portable). I do wish the app offered more proative guidance about connecting, especially in how to configure your computer. The help information about how to connect to your computer or laptop is quite buried, and the app doesn't offer it upfront during setup. That's unfortunate because the guidance is quite thorough and helpful. I fear this will cost the maker some negative reviews.

Great Utility App. This app is a real life saver when it comes to any sort of data entry. I do a fair bit of work with spreadsheets, and this app simply cannot be beat in that department. It has a great tutorial built in, although it was a little difficult to find at first. It might be better if the tutorial was displayed upon initially opening the app instead of forcing the user to hunt for it. I love the sleek, minimalistic design. My only suggestion is use a different color for the cells and the background of the Settings TVC. Without that contrast, it's rather difficult to see the separation of the sections. Other than that, a great release from a great company.

NumPad for Finale 2011 on Mac OSX 10.7 Lion - worked instantly. Jjust a quick note to let you know that the entire NumPad iPhone (3GS iOS 4.3.5) download|install, and iPhone|MacBook Air (Mac OSX 10.7) configuration progressed very smoothly, and interoperability with Finale 2011 was immediate. Once implemented, switching between Finale and other applications (including Numbers '09 v.2.1) posed no issues, nor did toggling between NumPad Keyboard Style settings). In short: NumPad worked completely as advertised. Well done. Bravo.

Works great, easy setup. The app works great and the setup instructions are super easy (I use it with Mac). I do wish they would add a feature to see what I am typing. Because it's a touch screen and not a physical keyboard it's harder to trust what you are typing without having to look up at your screen every entry. That would make working with my spreadsheets a lot faster. Other than that it works great no flakey connection issues (I use AirPort Extreme as my router).

Just what I was looking for!. I own a MacBook Pro and I am taking accounting and economics this semester. I was getting a little frustrated with all the calculations I needed to do on my computer when I needed to add I had to hit "shift "="" and to multiply "shift "8"". I do a lot of my work in low light due to a 3 month old 10 ft from me, so a solar powered calculator is not an option, and not going to spend big bucks on a battery calculator with backlight if they even make one. I love the calculator on the Mac with the paper tape. This app gives me the ease of typing the numbers and calculations (+,*,/,-) i need, with out spending the money for another calculator.

Great idea, poor follow-through. Beware-if you have any trouble with this app the company forces you to start a discussion on their website in order to get a solution. Only have a back and forth series of reply may you have a chance at a solution. There is no phone number or email you can contact privately, unless you set up an account. The support for this app is awful. I initially bought it from the great reviews, but tried multiple times on different computers to get this app to work and it never worked, even for a second. For $5 this app should connect flawlessly, no matter what computer you are using (the support page commonly clarifies that if certain steps are taken to set up the app and it still doesn't work its the users computer and not the app that is the problem). I'm sorry, but if I am a reasonably educated/tech literate person and can not figure this out do not blame my computer because you can not create a solution within your app to deal with it.

Useful. I've had the app for a couple of weeks now, and have found it very useful. I work exclusively on a laptop, so no numeric keypad. The app does what it says it will do, and has done a lot to speed numeric entry for me. It even works in Windows applications running in my Windows emulator, which was a welcome surprise. I have a couple of Windows-only apps that I use frequently. Both are numbers intensive. I didn't know if the keypad would work with them, but was pleasantly surprised that it did. This is a great little app. Well worth the price. I wish for the ability to have the "Tab" key, on the pad, set for next right, or next down cell in a spreadsheet. Not a deal breaker though.

Does not function with Sibelius 6. Unfortunately this app does not work with Sibelius 6.2 I contacted the company for an unimpressive back and forth email session which concluded with a diagnosis of "Num pad works, there's something wrong with Sibelius 6 so we're not responsible." If anyone is interested, my problem was that num pad was off by one button. For example if I wanted button '1' I'd have to press '2' if I wanted '2' I'd have to press '3'. I connected using Tightvnc and Ultavnc. No difficulties connecting with either vnc, however both had the aforementioned problem. Hope this helps, thanks for reading.

Works as Advertised. Read Instructions!. Everything works, although I have to input my MBP password each time. I have large fingers and find the vertical layout almost too small. I wish we had the option to use the keys in horizontal layout, enabling larger keys. The next iPhone should have a 4" screen and this will help immensely. I will check next, but if this works on an iPad, my issues with size could be fixed -- particularly if one could resize it on the iPad without sacrifice to resolution. The initial setup was a bit dodgy -- be sure to read the instructions first to ensure a good install w/minimal frustration. I recommend a bumper on the iPhone (or some other case with a rubber bottom) so the iPhone/iPod Touch doesn't move on the table.

Worked great until I bought the new iPad .... I started out giving it a single star because I wasn't able to use it with Sibelius. (I should explain that I installed it on the first version of the iPad and it worked great. After I migrated Apps to the new iPad I discovered a numeric keypad in place of the Sibelius interface. I was ready to scream, then by chance I selected Setup and selected Sibelius. It works great now. I'm using Sibelius Version 7 so I can't speak to issues reported with Version 6.

Waste and does not connect. I bought this app looking to make it easier to connect my phone to my Mac, download, paid $4 for it, and it never connects Total waste I need my money refund, and will not be recommending others to get it. I tried downloaded the app on 3 on my devices and non connected to the Mac, Had to buy another app which connected in a second.

Pfffft. Dosent Work At All for me.. connected to my wireless and dosent work with tight vnc.. installed on 16gb iphone with 2.2 firmware

Niche program done well. I was looking for a keypad app for Sibelius expecting to find exactly that - a keypad. And what did I find? A keypad with the symbols for the program! Although quite a niche program, it is absolutely perfect for what it is intended. Comes with instructions on combining it with the computer, and suggestions for operation. Very well done!

Awesomely effective. I followed the instructions and within a minute this app was connected to my iMac and functioning perfectly. I'll be connecting it to my PC the very next time I boot it up, as I have the wireless keyboard with no numeric keypad. This makes up for that lack whenever I have need for a numeric keypad and also means that I don't have that extra stretch for the mouse at other times. It is exactly what an iPhone/iPad app should be!

Great stuff!. Great app easy to setup and works well. Not laggy at all very responsive. Have been looking for an app like this for windows ever since I got my 2g iPod touch. Didn't work with ultra vnc but works fine with real vnc.

Does what it says. I find this app invalid while I travel not having a full numerical keyboard with me and needing to enter lots of numbers. It’s so much easier using my phone as the number pad having it with me all the time. It’s reasonably fast and works quite well once the settings have been tweaked a little. I think it works well enough but there’s room for improvement that could make it really good.

Warning. Tries to bill you without asking.. This app tries to get you to buy an in-app purchase without asking!

Fonctionne très bien et très simple à configurer. Sur MacBook Pro, un outil simple et complet pour remplacer le traditionnel pavé numérique! Prend en charge le symbole décimal de votre choix (ce n'est pas le symbole " ; " comme illustré, mais bien le point ou la virgule selon votre choix de config) La seule information importante pour le rendre fonctionnel: votre nom d'utilisateur et mot de passe sur votre MacBook. Aucun besoin d'installer quoi que ce soit sur l'ordinateur. Pour ceux qui ont eu de la difficulté, peut-être que leur ordi n'était pas à jour sous Mac OS X ou Mac OS Sierra... Pour moi ça a fonctionné instantanément et sans crashs!

Great, refined, useful. There are a few other number pad apps out there, but this one is both pretty and more useful than most of its competitors, in that it connects via VNC rather than requiring users to install proprietary software. Bear in mind that it is about 3/4 the size of a normal number pad owing to the smaller screen, so you'll have to type with one finger. It also sports the arrangement of arrow keys and page up/page down/etc. I haven't tested it on Windows, but it connected no problem to my Mac. I do have a few minor gripes, though: • Holding a key causes it to repeat after a moment, but there's no way to set the repeat rate, so it's considerably slower than the setting on my Mac. • The decimal key looks at first glance like a semicolon. It makes no sense. • When the decimal separator is set to period rather than auto, it inputs "v" instead of . because I use a Dvorak keyboard where V is in the position occupied by the period key on a QWERTY layout. • It might be too small to be practical, but I'd like to be able to turn it sideways and see both number pad and arrows at once.

Pretty Amazing. There are only 2 lacking features. 1, it needs to support Landscape 2, maybe some options to add custom keys

Can't go wrong with NumPad!. Simply the best companion for you Mac. No numpad on your keyboard? NumPad is there with extra features!

Très utiles!. J'ai bien aimé le fait qu'il n'y est pas de logiciel dédié à installer sur l'ordinateur. L'interface qui simules autant le clavier des nouveaux macbook pro comme les anciens ajoute une touche remarquable. Pour les concepteurs : Il serait intéressant d'avoir un keypad du genre avec des touches programmable pour pouvoir avoir acces à des caractères spéciaux comme le (C), TM, fractions,etc. L'utilisateur choisirait les caractère qu'il utilise le + souvent et les assignerait aux boutons virtuel de l'application. Je serais acheteur pour ce type d'application. Bravo encore!

Doesn't work. Why is it when I need this app it fails me? I can't understand why the computer doesn't save for future use. I have to set it up every time. It's frustrating. and now I can't connect with the IP address not known

Sync Problem. It won't sync to my ipod. I have leopard, I have firmware 3 point something, and it won't sync. I hate that i paid money for an app and am having THIS basic of a problem. If I can get it to sync, then i'll give it more than 1 star - but so far it's not doing anything. What a scam.

Thank you!!!. Finally!! I've been searching for so long for a key pad for my Macbook! I'm a teacher and with all of the marks I enter I've needed this for so long. I've already recommended this to a colleague and I've only been using it for a half hour!

Red! Really?!. This app was awesome. And the new icon is awesome too. But with it comes this garish red background that doesn't appear to be changeable. It looks awful and you can't read which computer you're connected to because the white type vibrates so badly against the red! C'mon, I'll give you my 5 stars back when you give us back the silver background.

Total integration - Love it. We were looking for a Num pad but didn't want to change our new keyboard that's wifi with the new 27' iMac. Found this little app. Took 2 minutes to set up without reading the instruction - !remote control syndrome ;-) Our workstation looks great and still no cables laying around and I finally have a num pad. Professor. I teach business, and do a lot in spread sheets with my lap top. This is great. Takes a little preactice to connect quickly, but after 3 or 4 times, becomes easy. I am running XP.

Needs work!. Wow... seriously!? I bought this app in hopes of saving time with data entry. Quite the opposite. I had it working to some degree before the update to the current version, but it crashed every time I clicked 'save' in settings. So, to reset the IP address in settings, I had to delete the app and reinstall it every time I moved between home and office. What a pain. Now, after the current update, it doesn't crash with a save in settings, but worse, I can't get it to connect to anything. (I'm using it with a MacBook Pro... I mean, I'm trying to use it. I want my $5 back)

Horrible App. Just bought the app yesterday and I have to say I am very displeased. If it did connect to my Mac it would take like three minutes when I selected a key to show up on my computer. Do not buy it really does not work like it is advertised

Works as expected. This app a real gem, especially for Sibelius users. Automaticaly syncs with Sibelius' keypad, even shows the correct glyphs and works flawlessly!!! Update: found out that you can rotate my iPhone upside-down to keep the usb wire out of the way and NumPad will keep showing correctly. Niceeee!

Do not buy. $5, and no online support on how to actually connect the darn thing. Until this is added, it's really not worth your time. If you're getting this to help with Sibelius on a MacBook Pro, go change the input settings by going to File (Sibelius tab on Mac) > Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts, then choose the Notebook (laptop) features feature set (tab in upper-center of window). This lets you use the numbers at the top of the native qwerty keypad, free of charge.

Crappy visual layout. I would you change something that works. If you were trying to making it hard to look at numbers and make it hard for productivity you succeeded

Very good. Extremely responsive works great. It would be great to have the option to select which keys you want and get rid of the rest. for instance, I only need "1" "2" "3" and "4" and it would be great to have just those in order to take advantage of all the screen size left by the other keys. thanks

Great. This is a great idea for a really low price. A physical numpad costs around $40 and this one only $3. I highly recommend it. It could be better if it had more templates, e.g. bronze color, PC black.

Keep those Finale key layouts coming!. This makes simple entry in Finale using a keyboard so much easier!

Piece of junk. Doesn't work with iPod Touch 1G. Continually loses connection, now can't even connect. Crashes randomly while trying to select a computer. When the program opens, it will ask if I want to connect to a server. If I say no, it continually pops up and won't go away at all. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK TIL THEY GET IT FIXED.

Perfect for use with Blender. Blender3D pretty much needs a number pad to be useful. Since I got a laptop I've struggled with using it. But not anymore! Awesome!

Awesome app. Update crashes it.. This app has worked perfect for me since I bought it. Why waste $50-$70 on a new keyboard just to get a numeric keypad on a Mac Keyboard when you can spend a few bucks and use your iPhone? Only problem: Once you update to support iOS6, it no longer opens. Please fix so I can get back to appreciating this apps' awesomeness. Thanks. 3 for the bad update. Changed to 5 once they fix this.

Great Idea!. Set up was very simple, works great! I typically run Logic Studio on my MacPro with a full keyboard, but sometimes need to run it on my MacBook Pro. Always missed having the numeric keypad for full-keybpard style key commands on the MacBook. This app solves that problem! Great job!!!

Perfect. I usually don't write reviews for apps. I have the apple wireless keyboard. I like this small keyboard but I miss the numeric keypad. This app fits the bill. Now I don't have to purchase an expensive USB keyboard. The app installs in minutes. Works great. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Clean & simple. Works great with iPhone 5 and Mountain Lion. Easy setup. I really like how the default theme matches Macbook keyboards. I was hesitant to spend the money given the reviews, but it's really a well designed app with a company behind it that seems to have a nice support team and a decent online presence.

So nice to have with Sibelius. Thanks sooo much for this app. It's so nice to be able to glide between the keypad windows. I can input without the computer keyboard now...just iphone and MIDI piano. Saves me 500 mouse clicks a day.

How sweet is this.. This app is awesome. Just follow the instructions it gives you to set it up and it should work. I will be using this all the time.

Basic functionality is OK. The app has a few small problems. The current layout has somewhat smaller than optimal button sizes. I'd rather lose the pretty looks and get larger buttons. Also attempting to use the app while your Mac is in Dashboard will cause you to not be able to leave Dashboard until the app is quit.

This works flawlessly on Macbook Pro. Whenever this app does not detect your mac even after you have done all the setting, try to delete the app and just reinstall it. I will detect your Macbook!!!!!! Yeah!!

Perfect accessory for iMac wireless keyboard!. Just got my 27" Core i7 iMac which is the almost-perfect machine whose only flaw is the wireless keyboard's lack of a numeric keypad and this perfect little app fixes that problem! Well worth the measly $2.50 it costs. I just set my iPhone to the right of my iMac's wireless keyboard and voilà! A complete wireless keyboard!

Works as advertised. Had a bit of initial firewall trouble, but the developer is very responsive and helped me with a solution. Great to have a keypad that works with Tiger -- now I don't have to have a separate one when I travel.

Luv it. One suggestion. I am using it in Sibelius. Would be perfect if selected keys stayed lit so u know what is currently selected- ie. so that App mimics on-screen keyboard.

Love/Hate. I loved using this app for a lot of data entry for work. I had the same issue with it crashing with iOS6. I deleted it and re-installed it. It will load now, but I can't get it to recognize my computer. This is really starting to upset me since I did pay for this app.

Bluetooth!. Bluetooth support!! There isn't always wifi available. More Sibelius screens would be nice

This is great!. Now I can move to a small Bluetooth keyboard and not long for a keypad. Beats lugging around a USB numpad any day of the week. Setup was pretty easy and so far it's working flawlessly. Pretty slick

Excellent. Couldn't work better! It uses built in services so you don't have to install additional programs. There is virtually no lag. Also, excellent customer support - they emailed me back within minutes of when I asked a question.

Great update, but..... I agree with another reviewer...numpad should also have a finale layout... Then it would be a 5-star program for sure!

Bluetooth?. It generally works well but I have trouble connecting in areas with high traffic like school or a Starbucks, which is generally where I want to use this. Bluetooth functionality to connect phone directly to the computer would be nice to have.

Every Musician’s Friend!. I arrange a lot of music, and since I just got Sibelius on my mac, I was in need for a number pad… Alas, there’s an app for that! This not only works well as a number pad, but it works flawlessly with Sibelius 7, and it’s great that the symbols show up on the phone. Worth it!

Made me reformat my Mac!. Thanks to this piece of crap, I have had to completely wipe my mac to make my bluetooth work. Don't know why, but for some reason after a little while if you use a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse with your mac it will just screw over your Bluetooth. Don't get this app if you use anything Bluetooth on your mac!!

Works great, very handy. The setup was very simple and clear for Mac OS X Leopard. The designs are beautiful, the keypad functions well and is very responsive. A fantastic low-cost alternative to an inconvenient external hardware keypad. Highly recommended.

Great app!. I just purchased this app and it does exactly what it says. Setup was a breeze - I was up & running within 3 minutes of installation (the included instructions walk you through the process). Also, It works great as a low cost (limited) wireless transport for ProTools.

Did Not Work For Me. This ap unfortunately did not work for me. It kept claiming that it needed a wireless network to connect (so why the supposed bluetooth connectivity promise). Would like a refund as I don't keep applications that do not work as promised. Very frustrating.

Wifi ok - Needs Bluetooth. A friend recommended this app and I had hoped it would solve the problem of my MacBook Pro not having an Enter key (numeric keypad). I need this for javascripting in Acrobat Pro. Alas, even this NumPad is not recognized by Adobe. Inspite of that, I'd like a Bluetooth connection option in addition to wifi.

No Trouble Connecting - GREAT APP. I bought this app to use with Sibelius and it's GREAT. I did have to read (and follow) the instructions carefully to connect it to my MBP. Wish I would have found this before buying an extended keyboard to use with my laptop.

As soon as I rated it five stars. It stopped working. I've been through the knowledge base, tried everything I can think of, and its not working. It worked great, and now, kaput. What port should it be? Should the computer address be my IP address? It sure is making me frustrated.

Spectacular app!!!. Works exactly as billed. Is a lifesaver for Sibelius, making it so much more convenient to enter music on a MacBook (Pro), or Mac Mini with a Bluetooth keyboard. Has to have five stars, even though I would really like to have more of the Sibelius keypads available -- even better, to be able to swipe between them. I've tried fiddling with various settings, all to no avail.
