Best Card Count Drilling App. This is by far the best card count drills app on the app store! At first it seems impossible but after a few hours of practice you will start to notice just how much better you are. Then after a while you will start to enter the "zone" and you won't even have to think about it anymore. It's amazing when this happens because simply glancing at all the cards can produce a count in your head. THAT'S where you want to be, and this app will get you there. The only thing stopping you from getting there is.... You. So practice practice practice. When you're bored just roll through some cards and become a master. Simple app but powerful. Don't worry, there are many levels of difficulty. You will find a spot you're comfortable with. But don't stay there too long. The only way (and fastest) way to get in the zone is to push yourself. Don't get frustrated!!! And have fun! As an avid real life experienced casino blackjack player, this has improved my game immensely.

Great app, some tips for improvement. Overall, this app is great for training from beginner to expert. Some things it needs to improve: The card counting slider is not always accurate, or not sensitive enough. Sometimes it locks in the wrong numbers even though I had the correct count. Also, when the count is highly positive or highly negative, you lose points because if how long it takes to slide the counter, which is not an accurate assessment of your skill. I also agree with others that it would be great to incorporate training for Basic Strategy in the app. Another frustration is that the app often fails to register your high scores when showing your rank on the Leaders Board. It still uses old scores you've already surpassed. Great program overall, definitely worth the purchase, but resolve these issues and you'll get 5 stars from me.

Sweet app. Wow this app is worth the 3 bucks, and if anyone cares, a good blackjack app is 21 pro, it costs like 5 bucks but it's really good to cuz it's got a card counter on there too, doesn't teach u how to count but it's got an optional little table that goes on the top of screen and gives the current count, helps with practicing

Awesome. This is my second day and I almost have a perfect score on medium. Counting is difficult at first but I have gotten much faster. Great way to learn fast!! For those complaining about not knowing actual strategy, do a web search for "true count blackjack strategy". This will teach you the betting technique and and plays to make when counting cards in a live blackjack game.

The app just got better!. I like the enhancements in version 1.1! Removing the running count from the screen makes the advance levels more challenging. Great job! Got a perfect score on the expert level last night for the first time. A cool enhancement would be make the expert level be a blackjack table with multiple hands being played. Keep up the good work! ------ It's fun to play as a game or a learning tool. I hope the next version will have a timer and an option to remove the running count from the screen. In blackjack you don't have the ability to see the count from the previous hand. I'm very glad I bought it!

Excellent Blackjack Trainer. I have tried many different Blackjack card counting apps; this is one of the best. Definitely worth the small investment.

Awesome. This is great for building experience whenever you feel like it! I wish there was an easier transition from medium to hard. I NEVER correctly count the last round on hard. Maybe deal it to us slower so we can catch on? Or let us choose what kind of skill we want to develop? For example just counting hands rounds or just card stack rounds, or just double stack rounds?

OMG PICKED UP 7K in AC. Yep I spent 24 hours on this program. Headed to AC in NJ. Started with $500 and walked out with $7248 in just 4 hours. You do need to get up and move around from table to table or you will draw to much attention to yourself as I did. Best to play it the right way and move around a little bit from casino to casino. I do have a math degree but you can do this too, just take your time it's worth it. Just have some control.

Major bug. I like this app, it does what it’s supposed to. However the range of counts is limited to +/- 52, this is not a problem if the game is also programmed to have counts stay within this range. I have tried Zen, HiLo and Omega 2 and have had counts go beyond the 52 range in challenge mode and thereby forcing me to forfeit, it’ll be nice to have this fixed.

Excellent method and app. Like tv previous review mentioned, the running total is continued FROM THE PREVIOUS ROUND. I like this app a lot. I can do easy easily, but medium starts to really test you with differrent card "throws" or stacking. Nice job of making things harder. Not sure if I'll get better, but I am having fun trying.

How cool. Thank you for taking the time to make this app. This is fun and educational. It does a great job replicating the randomness that is a card game.

Nice app. This is good practice, the lower levels are good for beginners, once you get to hard and expert though be ready. Challenge is fun too. Good info in the study guide too. You must still play smart though if you plan to make money, it is much tougher in the casinos so be ready to have your count thrown off, practice at home with loud music and distractions to improve on this.

Great app but with questions. Alright, first off, this is a great app. The only reason why it's not a five star app is because it doesn't give you the opportunity to practice what you have learned in an actual game of blackjack. Now, I have a question for all of you on here: I have learned how to count cards but how do I use this knowledge to my advantage? How do I know what to bet based on what the count is? P.S. - I'm using the Hi-Lo counter.

$1300. And some change. That is what this app is worth to me. Enjoyed learning to count cards, took $300 to a casino, walked out 5 hours later with $1300. Don't expect these results everytime, went back the next day with $500 and walked out with a measly $800 and some change in about the same time. Pretty good. I gave it 4/5 stars only because it doesn't support fractional counts like the Halves.

Zero Stars. I’ve tried multiple times to contact some for help with the issue and simply can’t contact anyone at all . Do NOT pay for this app, it doesn’t have all the features it says it does after you pay for it . Complete garbage !!! I’ll be filing a fraud report with my credit card company to get my cash back . So annoying having to deal with junk every time with apple

Great app to improve card counting skills. Great app to improve card counting skills, I have used this app for a couple weeks and my skills counting card has increased a lot I highly recommend this app for those who wants to bring the hose down. FOR DEVELOPERS I think would be awesome if you could add a multi hand blackjack game with 2 trough 6 decks shoe to be playing blackjack and practicing the card counting to practice how to bet in each game depending in the true count I mean would be like the expert level 2 Playing blackjack, betting, counting and having that voice asking you What’s the count now? And correcting you if your count is bad. Sorry for the grammar but y try to write as god as I can, my English is no to good XD THANK YOU FOR THIS AWESOME APP

Using the count. For all those that don't fully understand.. When u have counted the cards.. Ex: it's a 8.. Then that tells u that there are 8 high cards in the deck to use to ur advantage.. So say ur hand is 9.. Then u would hit, get a high card and beat dealer.. If it's -7 then u would stay.. Dealer would hit, get a high card and bust.. U win!! The count is to help u make the decision on hit or stay BASED on basic strategy!! Hope that helps..

21!!!. Since I watched the movie 21, where a bunch of high-school kids get rich over blackjack, I've always been wanting to learn more about the trick. This is the app that does that, not that I will bust the casino with the trick. It's just so much fun to play blackjack better. Even if you don't play for money, like I do, you can still train up your brain with this.... good stuff!

Great Application / Amazing Update. I love this application to death. With the new scoring system, I cannot see how this program could get any better. It is now one of my favorite apps to use. With a level for every individual, anyone will be able to learn the basics of card counting. I know that it is not the idea behind the program, just a suggestion, how about a true count conversion test, based on how many decks remain? All on all a great program for everyone.

Great App - Have A Suggestion. First off, I love this app. I feel like I'm sharpening my counting skills for sure. My suggestion is that I'd like to just practice the hard and expert level drills where they flip over 2 or 3 cards at the same time instead of having to go through all the other drills just to get to that drill. It would be cool if I could slow down and speed up just that drill. Also maybe you could work in some other drills that would test knowledge of basic strategy and figuring out the true count. Maybe a drill to learn to approximate the number of remaining decks so you can figure out the true count. All in all though this is a great app, keep up the good work!

Awsome app. This app has done for me for card counting what the Masque publishing blackjack software did for me learning basic strategy in the 90's!! All the books can confuse you, but was amazed how using this app has made it easy and fun! Also will be valuable tool in future to keep sharp with card counting. Also like how app can be customized for almost any kind of counting system.

Simply amazing. This is an incredible application. It teaches you different counting methods to fit your best choice. My personal favorite would have to be the KO method, simply because there's no need in converting to a true count like the high-low and it's very easy to learn. This app. Has taught me everything I need to know. I went from getting a high score in easy to a high score in expert. Very challenging but yet, fun and addicting! ENJOY!!!!

Very good! Better than throwing cards on your lap! A+++. Great application! Just do exactly what it says... Study, then begin in Tutorial, then move to Easy. Remember to keep the running count when screens switch. Use dial after every card to help you remember the count. Great app! Even my wife understands it... lol

Worth the $2.99. No kidding. It is worth it. It is actually challenging and it will make your brain hurt. But it is also good for the beginner. Good luck on the tables!

Good but could use more instruction. It's just practice

Great App. This is a very good app. I am 13 years old and had no problem understanding what to do. There are plenty of instructions including a chart for betting (for the visual people), explanations on how much to bet and when, how to keep track of the count to know when the deck is hot or cold, and how counting cards works. Only update I could think of is adding a game of 21 with the app so you could practice the betting part while keeping the count. I do know there are other Blackjack apps out there but most of the cards in those are completely random and therfore keeping a count is completely useless. Lastly, a tip. Although the app has almost all the practice you need, a good way to practice is to have a deck of cards and turn them face up with your writing hand onto a flat surface one after the other while holding the deck with the other hand and see how fast you can go through the entire deck (or combination of decks if you combined several decks) and end up with zero at the end.

Train yourself to win big... and take the money back from these casinos!. This is a sweet app! Make sure not to have such a huge fluctuation in your bets or you will definately draw attention to yourself! Also to the developer, I would think maybe adding some REAL casino sounds while the cards are being dealt. That would help to condition the mind to all the noises and distractions we all face when at the tables. "Cocktails? " would be cool... the sound of slot machines going off... also when hitting the "expert" mode maybe you will want to show the cards at a different angle. Such as ... if you were actually sitting at a table the cards would not be face forward to you... they would be at a much different angle (when looking at the other players cards) . All of this is real life scenario.. so the better to train and condition... the more profits!! Excellent work!

great. this is a wonderful program. it is a great compliment to the basic training programs already available. I was wondering if in the future there would be a way to go into a settings screen and customize the card count values for ourselves. red seven, zen, hi lo etc. keep up the great work. thanks for the product.

Amazing app. Fantastic design with ability to switch between counting systems and even use your own custom. Very challenging at the high levels and great for practicing speed quicker than you will see in the casinos

Great learning too......only needs a slight adjustment. Great way to learn the basics of card counting! Only complaint is the when you go to input your count the buttons are too close to the bottom of the window and they are not big enough... If you are going to really learn to count you need to be able to work faster than the count input buttons will let you adjust your numbers. Hey it is a great little program and should be mandatory for all gaming employees or anyone interested in Blackjack!

Fun and addictive. I really like this app a lot. It's reminiscent of a Brain Age type game. My only complaints are that you can't turn off the voiceover, and that the buttons for entering the count are too close to the four buttons at the bottom of the screen, which if accidentally clicked, take you out of your current game with no way of going back to where you left off. But other than that, this is a solid, fun, and useful app.

An easy way to learn the skill. OK, so after watching Vegas Uncovered, 21, and other shows on how to win at Blackjack, I wanted to learn how to count cards. I bought a book on one of the easier techniques, but I found the practice techniques difficult to learn from and catch on to. Then I found Card Counter in the App Store. That's when things started making sense to me. This is a fantastic app for practical learning. The app features varying levels from easy to expert, different card counting systems and scoring, and makes it simple to learn how to count cards and improve your skills. There is also a study section that gives you some great info on the basics, different counting techniques, etc. My skills have improved greatly since I purchased this app and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Great job TMSoft!

Need option to slow down on medium. There is too big of a jump for the skill level between easy and medium. It would be helpful to be able to slow down the cards on medium until you get faster.

Great app, one improvement would make it flawless. Awesome app for refining counting skills. Awesome visuals. Great speed variation to get you to be able to count faster. Only thing! If they added something in the app to teach you basic strategy coupled with the counting this app would be AMAZING. That would then equip counters with all they need. Counting in itself is not everything, one needs to know how to play in various situations with various counts.

Incremental, customizable training. Love this app. I love that the levels incrementally go up in difficulty (easy, medium, hard, expert). The snappy (fast) performance is great, too. The commentary posted on the home screen and the monetary scoring scheme are fun features as well. I am so happy this supports the KO counting system as well. Desired features: I wish there was another level between medium and hard, and that there was more randomness to what configuration of cards come next. A next-level feature would support actual blackjack gameplay functionality (and would be worth a few extra dollars as well). Conclusion: A great app, and additional features would push it over the top!

Where is the option to switch from hi-lo?. I bought this because it says there are different counting systems besides hi-lo. I wanted this app because it says knockout card counting system was available to play.

Very good teaching method!!!. Update for the buggy review. I thought the same thing you did until I reread the tutorial. The count is progressive, not round by round. So you start with the count of the last round, not zero. Original review... I always wanted to spend some time learning to count... But sitting with a deck of cards gives no feedback and is a pain. This is a really original way of learning through a fairly fun game. I think becoming great at the expert level would certainly prepare you for vegas... Great app!! One of the only apps on the store that can make you money!!!

Challenge level flaw please fix +|-52. Great practice App for simple count +- or high low one level. But for 3 level system with higher card values, like 5+3, T-3. App Caps out at RC +/- 52. So using challenge level is good for most simple high/low guys, but not 3 level guys. After plowing through 60 levels and posting a 600k score, is fine for practice but won't allow you to beat a 2M high low user. But still a fantastic app. Wish that this had been around 35 years ago when I learned.

Almost five stars. That one reviewer must've spent 24 consecutive hours on this before he cleaned up Atlantic City. I'm not that good. But this is a really good if you're interested in counting cards. Not that I'd recommend it cuz casinos frown on that. But if you were... I'm just saying. As a side note, if you're interested in keeping your brain sharp, this helps in that area too. I'm giving four stars instead of five cuz I found a small glitch: sometimes when I count the cards wrong, I get text that tells me I'm wrong and the voice that tells me I did well. I emailed the developers about this and I'll up my rating to 5 when it gets fixed. Happy counting!

Needs few adjustments. This is a good card counting app hands down, the faster you answer correctly the more money you get as a bonus. The downside is, is that the answer bar is a scroll wheel.. Which makes it hard to answer the correct answer efficiently. If you can add buttons to +1 or -1 when it asks for the count I'd give it a 5 star rating. Also add a free deck count as you go and possibly a blackjack game that you can count while you play and asks for the count every now and then would be awesome.

Close. Really strong app, the addition of a playable blackjack that occasionally asks for the count would make it 5 stars. Otherwise it is a very useful tool when learning how to count.

Excellent Program. Great for training your brain to see cards in a different way. Definately the best value for my money. If you guys could add a level after EXPERT that displays the card as a real black jack simulation (ie 6 hands been played and players who play regular black jack, dealer takes aways cards of busted players etc etc) that would be a VALUE. I would definately buy that program.

Awesome app!. It's an awesome app that helps you develop personal strategies on card counting. When I started I tried hard and expert and thought "This is nuts! I'll never be that good." But within weeks I was able to count on hard and expert like it was second nature. It's an easy 5 out of 5 stars. What I would like to see is the option of practice play of the different ways the cards get laid out. I find throwing out two and three at a time is harder because you don't set it as often and in challenge if you get it wrong you need to go through the whole thing to get to the two card throw again.

I'll have to practice with this one.. Looks like a real good way to practice counting. Different levels to get you to count faster and faster.

Great... But buttons are too small. Great app for learning & sharpening your skills in card counting but since the high scores are based on how quick you're able to answer the right count... It's really difficult to follow through with that since the buttons are incredibly small and non-responsive majority of the time making the game useless. Clearly this can be fixed by a simple update but question is when?

Great way to learn how to count cards!. If you like to play BJ, this is a great way to understand the real game, also because their are multi levels you can see what to takes for a pro to have a edge in the game.

A challenge. I enjoy playing this although it is not as easy as I had hoped it would be. I wish it would adjust to vertical and horizontal position

Gaining the advantage. Great app - one issue with the gameplay though. In a casino there are two times when you need the count. After all the cards have been dealt, just before you play and again after the dealer finishes their play. As it is, all play is thrown together in one quick deal and then wiped away. Yes, this helps but it fails to simulate the stop and go and stop of playing the table. Perhaps one more option, please? Thanks!

Wow. I have had this game for over a year and the new update really looks great. Really like the new challenge mode and it gets pretty tough in the later rounds. Such a great way to pass the time and keeps the brain tuned up.

Actually works!. Great app that really does train your brain to recognize and quickly count cards. Broken into very simple levels of difficulty that builds your card counting confidence.

Great!. It's great for counting. I do wish you could actually play blackjack on the app against a computer. Also it should explain all the rules and give a gameplay tutorial of blackjack.

Wow. Way better than using a deck of cards... I use this thing none stop awesome app. Would like to be able to work on individual exercises, there are some parts that are harder than others. Would be nice to be able to work on just the ones cause trouble.

Great. This app is a great trainer for counting cards. It does take a while to Master but it is worth is. Also is fun and addictive. If you enjoy playing "21" or blackjack, this app is a must. Could use some improvements. Stop stacking the cards to where they cannot be seen. A casino would never do that because the eye in the sky has to see everything. Why do it in this app?

Needs added functionality. Would be a great app if we could practice Black Jack at each card counting level to more accurately simulate reality. Total Black Jack strategy simulator. When to Hit, Fold, Split, Double Down while keeping count. Options to play based on number of decks, house rules, number of simulated players and viewed horizontally.

Nice..... I've just finished working my way through perfect scores all the way across the board in hard mode... now I'm working on expert... Next... take my new skills to the nearest casino and see whay they can really do... Nice app... And I think people appreciate the fact that you respond to reviews and fix bugs with a fairly expeditious action...

Really made my counting faster !. The game moved quickly enough to train my eyes to just glance as the cards were revealed. If just 20 minutes can improve me this much, can't wait until I play an hour or moore. Better than a Jack & Coke is a Jack & Ace.

4/5 stars. This app is great..I'm already seeing way improved scores. I'm taking these skills to the casino as soon as I can pass expert with little to no difficulty. A five star app if it included an actual blackjack game to hone your skills with, otherwise a great app! Worth the $3!

Great application!. I found out about this application while listing to Big O and Dukes on WJFK in DC. I am not that great at cards. This has showed me a better way to play. I like how it shows you the right way if you answer wrong. For those who play cards, this will help hone in your skills.

Great overall!!. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the up/down & ok buttons in the practice are not nearly as responsive to presses as they should be. Great how-to and ok practice mode

WOW..... It works.. I am shocked. This is a MUST BUY for anyone who wants to learn how to count. It only took me 3 days to get perfect on expert level only playing maybe 4 hrs total. It is much faster then doing the tricks to learning yourself. GET IT!

Love it. Love the application! I want to become a serious player and this is definately helping. Only issues are that I sometimes have trouble hitting the count buttons, make them bigger! Also an actual blackjack game in the program would be even more amazing.

Great app.... But....!. This is a great challenging app, but it needs a game where you are to play and count at same time with dealer and multiple users to make it harder with an option to add decks for difficulty. Great way to learn. I have been using this app to learn a new level 2 count (Hi-Opt II). I am using the app to build my speed and accuracy before using it at the tables. Great app.

Worth the money!. It took about five or ten minutes to fully understand but once you do and use what you've learned on an actual deck you'll be amazed!

Actually teaches you how to count. Black jack game included for you to actually use what you learned would be nice though.

Awesome. This is a great app. I have been looking for a app like this. It is very easy to use and is very fun. I decided this over others after a hard decision n recommend this by a long shot it's great!

There's a problem or two... Every now and again it actually does give u the wrong answer.. Not cool. But with the exception of that it's a great app.

Great app!. At first I thought it didn't work, but it turns out each round starts with the count from the previous one. Great interface and really helps you learn.

Great app. Love it! Really helped me improve my counting speed. The expert level was great for almost forcing you to pair and group cards to count faster. Recomended! Wish it had a blackjack table style mode.
