Worse purchase EVER. I downloaded Melodia based on the promise of accessing music by popular artists featured in their ads. However, upon exploring the app, I found a stark contrast between the advertised artists and the actual available content. The absence of the promised artists made the app’s advertisements blatantly misleading. It’s disappointing that the platform didn’t deliver on its advertised content, resulting in a frustrating and unsatisfactory user experience. Not recommended due to misleading advertising and lack of featured artists as promised.

Pro subscription worth it? No, Complete garbage app with limited features.. Canceled my subscription immediately. This is a waste of money. It terribly lacks any useful features to makes this worth your time. Here’s a list of reasons why you shouldn’t waste your time. -Only 30 seconds, ends as soon as it gets good -Can’t continue song in a second part -Cant copy/paste prompt for editing -Can’t edit generated song

Melodia feature request. Love this app / feels more like a collaborative partner than a tool - brilliant for ideas & simply refreshing cover song inspiration in the studio. However one huge request (that I would be happy to pay more for) would be the ability to add & train more personal voices so as to hear how covers sound through Melodia with my other band members voices - With the additional feature Melodia would be an absolute home run for myself & my covers band.

Trash! The same as Mia AI song Generator. You’re using the same app is the same app as Mia AI song Generator The only thing that these apps are doing is taking money from you and going through your phone. You don’t know it, but they’re going through your phone. They’re scanning everything in your phone and they’re charging you for it. These apps do not work like you think they do and the moment that you think they do because it worked too or four times for you. That was only because you had more information in your phone that they were really interested in. it’s all one big conn. You seriously think they’re going to produce an album or multiple albums for you for only $5.99. A month I thought your mother raise you better. She told you nothing is free and everything comes with the cost. They thank you for access to your phone in advance. You can’t say I didn’t tell you so.

It’s so close!. If you can customize more voices and the voices were closer to the person instead of a hybrid of original artist and the custom voice. It’s so close!!! I’ll give it 5 stars when it gets there. I’m not getting a refund to support and encourage developers. I think I trained my voice wrong, it needs to add a “do-over” on voice training recording too.

You can’t test it without getting locked in to a purchase. There is no option to try before you buy. The 3 days is a hook that will ensure them $6.99. I’m not going to blindly purchase something without actually trying it. You require the purchasers input if you want to run a successful marketing campaign and actually move a product. This tactic makes this application look cheap and desperate. Title this, let’s calculate how many sales didn’t happen because of this moronic policy!

Did not work. Does not work as advertised , when trying to create song would only get errors . Tried multiple times

Decent but basically a preview factory. Let’s just be reasonable, I do enjoy this, I do like some of the subject material, and I do like the fact that we can play around with it. The create a song and create music function is a lot of fun to play with, however, I wish it was more than just a 30 second preview, because once I just start getting into it, it starts repeating Also, the cover section is not how it’s portrayed in the commercials, but then again, nothing ever is when it comes to Apple but I really wish you could use multiple voices on the songs. The only other issue I have with that small part is the fact that I want to say 80% of the time it doesn’t even work properly, I keep getting signs that say there was an error and it never explains why. I really want to hear Morgan Freeman singing my heart will go on

Garbage. I saw a tiktok ad for this app, and decided to give it a try. First I asked for a song similar to foster the people, I played it, and it sounded awful. It was the same 3 seconds that were barley in sync repeated over and over again of what sounded to be some dude making random noises with his mouth with a generic electronic drum beat in the background. The second time, I asked for a heavy Green Day song, thinking it may have been just a bad prompt. All it was was a decent drum beat that any 5 year old could have made. I don’t understand why anyone would pay for the premium version of this.

Asked for a full song, got one note.. I entered a lengthy prompt, expecting at least some effort. Knowing that AI isn’t perfect yet, I held out hope that this would be a hidden gem, or at least decent enough to make something interesting. However, to my chagrin, after minutes of waiting, the response it gave was a single note, played once with reverb over a basic drum beat (think apples and oranges but with an extra snare). My expectations were already low, but I thought that I would at least get more than one note! Not worth your time, and CERTAINLY not worth 4 dollars a week for premium. That’s $208 annually (excluding taxes) for responses that not only don’t follow instruction, but can contain just ONE NOTE.

Do not get this AI generator. It is the worst game ever you can’t even hear your own song once you make it you hit Play and then it just has a few beats and then done and will never let you listen to it again or do anything it will just ask you to pay the stupid subscription Which I did not pay because it is ridiculous. It’s just the worst thing ever and do not get this game. I’m trying to make sure this review stands out because make sure you read this review please. I’m usually a good raider for games but once it comes to this game, boo it is not a good game at all just don’t download this game. It is horrible no more. It is not the best game ever. Decent. Would be nice if there was more characters or more available space to type in notes or things you’d like to be in this song. Overall, very neat very cool very quick to generate a song. Also, if you pick a hip-hop or rap song, it should offer maybe sub options for slow rap sad rap you’re different feelings maybe or mindsets also intensity would be good or addressing how fast you’d like it a fast paced or a slowerflow.

Couldn’t even try the app without being force fed a subscription. Downloaded it to see if it was all that, was immediately turned off by the fact that it only generates segments, but not full songs, so not off to a great start. I imported a song link and chose a voice and probably waited the better half of 5 minutes only to have the app fail to generate a clip. “An error occurred” is the best they could do for me, and offered me a retry button (like it would do anything). But I tried 4 times to generate the bit and it failed every time and wouldn’t replenish the SINGLE currency I used to make the song and immediately threw the subscription in my face. Why ask for me to pay for a service that doesn’t even prove it works?

Let’s call it what it is, a “noise generator” app.. I mean it generates a sound that you could call music in that it kinda has a melody. It generates about a 5 sec constantly repeating sound. I’m not sure how the sound that plays is related to the prompt you put in, that’s very subjective. Basically you put a prompt in, such as, “a broken heart” or “an amazing morning” or whatever, then you choose what genre you’d like to make it such as “rock” or “hip-hop” or whatever, then it generates a repeating sound accordingly. I’ve yet to be like, “oh yeah that’s exactly what a broken heart sounds like” or whatever. Also not sure why you pick the style of music because it never sounds like “rock” or “rap” or whatever. Just struggling to understand this one. I thought it would actually generate a song for you, like notes, sheet music something, and play it. It’s kinda like the art generated ai where it just mashes together stuff to make something, except it’s noise instead of a picture which makes it infinitely more subjective. It gets old very quickly, don’t bother subscribing. You’ll get to make one “song” before having to either subscribe or delete the app. So make one, delete the app.

One request. I came here to make a sponge bob cover, but I am not able to do it. Just because I don't have a subscription I can't do anything. Please make a feature that if you don’t have a subscription you can still generate songs and AI covers but you just can’t use your own voice and you need to watch an ad to make it. That’s the least you can do. also, there is so many wrong spelled names like you put Drape instead of Drake, Saylor Twift, and “Just-in” Bieber, please fix that.

Needs A LOT of work… like A LOT. mmm… no. I didn’t have super high expectations but this app somehow fell below that, there’s no way the rating is genuinely a 3+ yet alone having 4.3 stars. I’m convinced they paid for reviews. The music isn’t good. And I don’t mean “good” as in it need a full fledged song to dance to, I mean it’s almost unbearable to listen to the sounds this thing makes. I get that maybe the AI isn’t super advanced yet but tune it up before you release it to the public and ask us to pay you money for it. There’s a 3 day free trial, I cancelled within 5 mins. No one is enjoying this app. There’s no literal way.

Not worthy of consideration. I rarely leave reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about the Melodia app. Simply put, this is one of the most frustrating apps I’ve ever used. From the moment I downloaded it, nothing worked the way it should. It constantly freezes, takes forever to process even the simplest requests, and throws error messages almost every time I try to play a song. The user interface looks promising at first glance, but any sense of excitement quickly fades when you realize the app can’t even perform its basic functions. Whether you’re trying to stream music, create a playlist, or even just browse, you’ll likely spend more time staring at a spinning wheel than actually enjoying any music. What’s worse is that this app isn’t free. Don’t waste your money or time. There are far better music apps out there that won’t leave you frustrated and disappointed. Save yourself the headache—skip Melodia.

Worst App Ever. I’ve had this app like 10 days, trying to make just one song, with my 2 chances per day… Every. single. one says “Error…”. I have yet to successfully create one song, and that’s only with the available demo templates. I’m convinced this app is just a genius scam to make super gullible people like myself watch 2 minutes of ads per day.

Recording my voice 3 different times, each time the icon read error. What’s the point in using something other then your own voice

Stuck on 0 mins…. A friend showed me this app used my music without paying me. So I tested it myself and turns out it gets stuck on the 0 minute mark so I can’t even download my own songs that this Ai covered.

Not good, yet not too bad.. First off, I will tell you that this app does not generate complete songs. It does however generate short musical segments that are (in my opinion), are quite good in many cases. I would call them very inspirational! Although I fail to see why an app developer would only create a music app that creates short pieces of music. Nonetheless, It is most useful to me as a musician and songwriter. So I’m giving it 4 stars. Thank you!

Must sign up to pay money before even trying the basic app.. I one of their other apps is quite good. This app will not even allow you to try it out without paying them money. They have a so-called free trial, but it automatically starts charging you after three days. I’m not willing to agree to that. If they would let me try it and I like it, I will pay money if they do not let me try it without signing up to pay money, then I will use other apps.

Broken. The music that I try to generate is not working error pops up

Stuck on generating. Not sure why but I can't do anything until then AI is done generating and I think it's stuck. It been over 4 hours and still processing.

Disappointing AI Music Generator. I was really excited to try out this AI music generator, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete letdown. The music it generated was short, repetitive, and lacked any real melody. The heavy focus on percussion made it almost unbearable to listen to, and I found myself quickly losing interest. I was hoping for something more creative and inspiring, but instead, I was left with a product that simply wasn't worth buying. If you're looking for an AI music generator that can create something worthwhile, I suggest you look elsewhere.

Custom voices. I wish there was a custom voice ability function where I can record someone’s voice

Could be Better. The app has been pretty good until now, i’ve made a cover and i’ve waited for the amount of time it told me too, and now it’s still loading and taking forever to let me listen to it, and I’d like to request a feature where all users can upload a prerecorded audio from their files and use that to add their voice.

The system doesn’t work. After putting in information, the system ask you to wait forever. Nothing happened. Tried multiple times. The system did not generate a song. Suno is much easier to use and user friendly. Don’t use it!

Not as advertised. i get that someone wanted to make a mobile app that generates AI music, but atleast put more effort into the developing, it works and it does generate music but id rather pay 20-80$ for a software that generates AI music than rather spend 3$ a month on an app that doesnt even work properly, it generates a 5 second rhythm noise that doesnt even sound as close to the prompt, it isnt even considered to be a beat in my opinion, please take your money else where cause this app performs exactly as how much you paid for it.

When you put songs in it, put a different song. Basically, I just said my problem in the title but you know what’s wrong with this app that when you put a song in I don’t know if it’s just me or small people but when you put a song in it doesn’t even put that song I put river and the kid Laroi or whatever whatever his name is and that was crazy I put a song and I waited five minutes for and I have to be somewhere and I have to do some math at school. I shouldn’t be doing this, but you know what I wanted to because I had music class right after, and I had to put in a music song that I made off of AI, try to do that didn’t work at all so bye

Ai music feature doesn’t even play the song you give it!. I was foolish to pay for the $6.99 subscription. I used up the daily coins so I figured a week of unlimited access would be fun. After paying, the app became faulty. The AI music feature doesn’t play the music you linked. It worked before the subscription but now it loads for 5 minutes and plays some random song. How does that work?? I’m going to ensure I do everything I can to get a refund. 0 stars.

dont download. I download this app, thinking it was going to give me ideas for lyrics. I don’t know if that’s because I can’t read or if the ad was incorrect. I was able to use this app “fine” (if you call fine waiting 20 minutes for one 5 sec clip of ai music). But not only does it not follow the genres at all, it’s stop letting you use the app entirely, unless u paid the subscription. I don’t know who taught these people marketing. But they should be fired for teaching them such tomfoolery.

I am an instrumentalist in my high school’s marching/concert band, so I have a pretty good feel for genre and such. Nothing, not ONE THING in this is genre accurate. So do with that information what you will. Also, I accidentally subscribed to this app for premium and I don’t even know how to cancel it??? Help? Save yourself the trouble and don’t get it. It’s not bad in a funny way either, it just plain sad.

I haven’t gotten my moneys worth yet.. It seems like a really great concept… I want it to work as intended… but before I could even try it I had to pay a “lifetime membership fee.” Then when I wanted to create my voice I had to pay for that separately… and then couldn’t access it in the app. So far no good. I’ll keep trying it because I paid for it but I’m hoping to come up with some cool stuff.

Meh. Some songs work, some don’t. Some voices sound REALLY good, some are off. Hopefully the voices can be fine tuned. I am a bit disappointed since the ad I saw, 4 of the voices advertised aren’t pickable so I’d like for them to be included, but at the same time this is very user friendly so I’ll give it props for that. Add guys like Elvis, Freddie Mercury, Kurt Cobain, Frank Sinatra, or at least hopefully give us the ability to add voices of anyone we want one day as that would make the app WAY better

Complete Waste of Time. Ads make it seem like you're going to be able to hear extremely unique music that is truly based on the prompt you input... In reality the output is almost identical no matter what you write or what genre you choose. I asked the AI to give me a song with no drums after hearing the same drum pattern 3 times, and the AI STILL produced a beat that's almost entirely the exact same drum pattern. Very obvious cashgrab taking advantage of peoples interest in AI.

More characters for lyrics. Y'all should allow more characters for the lyrics portion. It only allows 300, should be about 3000 which is an everage for a full song.

Only one use. You get one single credit when you download the app. There’s a max amount you can use (which is one) and theres no way to get more credits without buying Pro Access. You get only 5 seconds of song without pro aswell. If you’re gonna make it so you have to buy everything just make downloading it cost money. if I could go below one star I would go to -99. would not reccomend

We need to encourage those that God’s words will ring true we need to be included when it comes to these AIA applications. App doesn’t work at all. Installed the app and even tried the 3 day trial. No matter what I did I always got the error message, “Something went wrong. Try again” even after restarting the app, my phone, and deleting and reinstalling the app. I even checked to see if it was an internet connection problem but it’s not.

Overpriced Nonsense. The premium access to the app costs $6.99 per week, with no features available before the paywall. The app can be tried once before requiring a purchase of premium access. While the app may be an enjoyable gimmick or toy, the cost of nearly $50 per month is not worth the price.

Way too few options.. For the amount they charge for their subscriptions, the actual number of voices they have available is criminally low. And at first glance, I can’t find any ways to train a custom voice or request new voices like other AI cover apps have. Long story short, this is way too barebones for the price they’re charging.

False advertising as free preview. You can NOT make even a 5 second melody without signing up with a scheduled payment. Might be a cool app…..I won’t know because I can’t preview it without going through the trouble of signing up. If I dislike it I have to go through the trouble of canceling before they charge you. It’s not bad. Many reviewers seem to have trouble while I am having quite fun! Sure some beats distort but that’s bound to happen! It have made some good music and I listen to it a bunch! Thankyou!

No trial period to test out product. I can’t review the rest because there is a paywall before you can even test out the AI voiceovers for songs. Why buy if you don’t know even if it’s worth it? $7 for a week test trial.

AI covers are a scam. Horrible! I got one track to convert to AI cover and the tone of Michael Jackson sounded horrible and caucasian. I’ve attempted to convert over 29 times another song and it fails says try again and for days on the pro paid subscription nothing works as far as the cover version and I feel cheated and keep coming back and trying again and it still fails.

I’m sorry but it sounds awful. There’s barely a beat, no real rhythm, and it’s just a mix of random instruments thrown together to make sound. Not even really music, like a group of eight year olds messing around with instruments. I don’t think it’s necessarily this apps fault, AI just isn’t there yet at least when it comes to phone games. Melodic sound is just way more complicated than image or text generation.

4 Stars Because…... This app does good ai covers, but I don’t pay for the app, and it says it gives you a fixed number of credits each day. Today I have no credits. That is the only problem I’ve had. Other than that, I think it’s pretty smooth and fast. I hope I helped you out!

Not good. Garbage so far. Maybe it’ll get better as ai progresses in the future. Although the tech is available already so why aren’t they using it? This app makes a 5 second clip that sits on repeat forever. Even after subscribing there aren’t any new features whatsoever. All the songs sound the same and generally have nothing to do with the prompt that I put in. Deleted and unsubbed.

Feature request. —To make this useable in a production setting make the tracks/instruments separable. —Allow a track to be uploaded and have the prompt add to the existing track eg add guitar solo, backing vocals etc

Melodies. Please work on generating melodies for producers to create song ideas I can’t play keys myself so it would be lovely to generate the perfect melodies for my beats please let us upload beats to your app

Only good if you give money. When I downloaded the app I was very excited, but if you want it for free they only give you a 5 second song. While if you pay you can get a much longer song. Plus with 5 seconds you only hear the bet and not the singing

I give this is zero star. I couldn’t do anything because it wouldn’t work unless I got the premium thing so I would not buy this. If I were you, please do not waste your time on it trying to get to do something it doesn’t work. Terrible App. Whoever decided that this horrible AI was ready to be released to the public should be fired and cast out on the street for days. Half the “music” it makes is just the same drum sample they probably stole on on top of some random instrument that has nothing to do with the prompt. But I don’t really want to call it music, either. Because it really isn’t. It is just 5 second snippets of beats (no vocals ever) that rarely even follow the basics of making music. Things as simple as: Having a beat Having a melody Having any sonically complete tones Lterally anything else I tried EVERY. SINGLE. GENRE. Of this god-forsaken app before writing this review, just in case I missed some crucial hook to the app or a specialty. It had nothing. All of it is the same. This app is terrible.

Request. You should add a thing where for every 5 ads you watch you get a credit. I would totally use that. Anyways pretty good app

Criminal to charge for this. This AI is not ready, regardless of prompt it gives you the same sample of drums. The music genre selection means virtually nothing as well. Just a ridiculous scam, I can’t believe you’d charge 3.99/week for this. This needs to be taken off the App Store and worked on before you start taking people’s money for it.

Take this app off the App Store. I am trying to make a AI cover of something with copying and pasting links and it gives me the complete opposite. For example, if you know about the cranberries. Imagine you are installing the song zombie from them and covering it as Taylor swift it gives you the complete opposite. It will just give you either a different song or just a random message.

False advertising. I am a professional musician and I saw on TikTok the ad for this saying that it is changing the music industry because it can write music to any lyrics. I thought it would actually write a song with a vocalist singing those lyrics and with accompaniment. It does none of this. Useless app. Don’t waste your time.

Why this app is bad if you don’t want to pay. So I got the app and chose not to pay the $3 something a month. You get three free songs. it kept glitching saying that I needed to retry I clicked retry not knowing that it was going to use two more of my free songs on just one song, so I got only one half-baked song.

I love the Characters. This is making my songs happier. I also love all the characters too

Waste of time. Extremely limited in its abilities. Search feature is not accurate. Try to select a song like Hey Jude and it will not let you because it’s longer than 5 minutes. Even tho it comes up as an option after you search under Beatles instead of hey Jude. Picked a different song and voice, the end result was horrible. I would suggest trying different app. This is cookie cutter crud.

It was kinda accurate. Well I put the moment when the main character realizes they are in a movie and it didn’t catch the vibe but it was still good

Get if you want to, but don’t expect much. I give this two stars because most of the music has nothing to do with your input. I asked for arabic gospel vocals (literally one of the templates) and I got Lo-Fi. It was also labeled as classical. You probably shouldn’t pay for this.

Strange vibes. This is really just a noise generator. It makes about 5-10 seconds of a beat and spits that out but even after loading, the beat is very eerie and off key all 5 times I tried to make a song even putting in different prompts about “joy” and “delightful” with different music styles. If your looking for music generation, I don’t think the technology is there yet. This app is not it for sure.

5 seconds? That doesn’t help. Be smart and let us try it to understand the features. With five seconds there is no way that I can understand what the app does. Perhaps just give it a trial a real trial so that we can understand what the app is about. I’m gonna delete the app because I don’t even understand for five seconds what it did.

Request for feature. Can you allow us a spot where we can change some of the lyrics after created? To make them make more sense or flow better?

You have to play for basically everything. Not worth it. I only have the free version and I only can make 5 second covers AND I can only make one a day which isn’t that bad but both? Come on man. Plus the premium is 6.99$ a week even then you get 25 extra seconds to make a cover.

Very bad. I paid for the week subscription because I did not know how this was going to work and I’m glad. It is horrible. It made me sound like a chipmunk!! Some songs sound like the computer got stuck on a word or something. We got a good laugh out of it but I just canceled my subscription and will not be getting this app again.

Good app but has a error. I was making a song with Custom Lyrics, and one of the songs is stuck saying downloading. Can you fix this? Can you also a an AI cover voice of a famous singer named CG5?

I can’t cancel my subscription. As a musician looking into AI and how it affects how music is created, this app was a letdown. I would put in a prompt and it would just give me either just a drum beat or an error message. So I deleted it and went into my settings to cancel my subscription, and now low and behold, I can’t. I hit the button and nothing. Makes me think this is just a scam to get money.

Request. My request is for one to be able to hum, whistle, or portray a melody in any vocal form and it be then possible to be generated as the same melody or chord movement, but on any instrument, which there would be a list of to choose from

Good but wish it was longer. The music is good but so short. If it was longer(say 1-2 minutes) it would just be so much better.
