Horrible headphone experience after swapping apps. I was told I needed this new app for my headphones to continue working. They had all of a sudden stopped, even after being fully charged, and were having connection issues for about a week or so before I looked into the issue. Ever since swapping to this new app, my headphones never disconnect from my phone, forcing me to go into my settings and forgets the device every time I use them and need to put them away. Then, when I want to use them, I have to pair them all over again. This has been extremely frustrating and it’s making me consider getting new headphones all together. It’s become needlessly complicated. I used to be able to pop them out, they would connect, I would listen with them, put them away, and they would disconnect, and I could go right back to using audio from my phone within five seconds.

Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 XT Options and limited features. Love it just wish software was more accessible and faster headphones are an huge upgrade from the evo’s just needs more adjustments for ANC and bass gets too muddy at 100% crusher by far best headphones I’ve owned and possessed:)

Listen Up. These Can’s are the fruit crusher , Bass I feel it, I had to fine tune my cans=headphones to get that sound I love, because of the bass each song for I must retune soundssssss so good. My tip my best bass tuning song, in the air tonight.

Not so smooth. Just installed new firmware from the latest Skullcandy app and I got my Wi-Fi on my grind fuels are on and the app is not picking up my signal. I’m right in front of my phone where the app is not smiling. I set up my equalizer and I was looking forward to really cool experience but it’s not happening. Skull Candy used to be a leader right that’s a question, right? …guess I’ll just go across the room and grab my JLabs… or maybe my AirPod Pro second generations they’re pretty cool…I guess you get what you pay for? Cheers.

Annoying. So I love the earbuds however it takes too long to connect. The app sometimes doesn’t recognize that the earbuds are right in front of it. It won’t connect but somehow still does, the app just won’t verify them. I thought it was a bug but it’s not. It’s really frustrating when you basically live off of music. I will change my rating once this is fixed.

Bluetooth not connected. It is and will not work.. My husband bought me these headphones. They’re great they’re snug. I love how they feel around my ear in my ear. It’s great, but even the charging case is so cute. The app is absolutely horrible. I don’t even know what to do. I wish I could use them with another app or something, it’s too bad

Doesn’t work unless you have both. I lost my left earbud last year and the app only works if you have both. Is there a way to purchase another left push earbud?

Good headphone so far, annoying pop-ups. Enjoying my Grind earphones so far! It’s kinda crazy needing a whole app for the headset though, but it is cool to have it so customizable. However, what’s up with the pop-ups regarding voice control (ignore/allow)? I got the whole app open (gives the notifications if closed) but i still get them constantly. 😭 Overall, not bad though. Just weird, but so far i’ve managing.

Music, but can’t pick up phone calls. I really hate that I spent so much money on these skull candy. Before the app change if someone called me I could answer the phone and hear them so we could talk. I use to be able to make calls also. However, some reason all they are good for is listening to music. I bought them bc my younger son thought they would come in handy trying to multitask while taking care of his brother who is special needs. They were supposed to let me be hands free for calls and listen to music to calm my anxiety. Now they are part of my anxiety bc it’s wasted money. I have stop what I’m doing to answer calls bc if I don’t I will miss doctors, etc. Then my son get distracted and it’s hard to get him back on track. When I bought them I was guaranteed that they were compatible with my iPhone.

Battery drain app. Bought a pair of Active Push headphones. They are pretty good, I would say just as good as normal Air Pods. However this isn't about the headphones but the app. The first couple of days I had the headphones I had the app installed. Battery life on the headphones was horrible. Could not last a full day, maybe half at best. I had thought about returning them but then uninstalled the app. Now I get a full day from one headphone with a few calls, music and light social media use. So the issue came from the app and not the headphones. Not sure if it's due to constant bluetooth connection or what. Also the headphones can become hot while using the app. So there is some issue going on with high usage when using the app. Hope it gets fixed.

personal sound mode not working. Just bought the crusher anc 2, when i try to do hearing test for the personal sound mode, it keeps saying “error please check your internet connection” even though my internet is fine, i keep restarting the app but nothing

Just needs some fine tuning…. The rail anc’s would be so much better if it was a little more “chrisp” it has fantastic bass but its lack on the high end and I hate having to open the app to benefit from the EQ. Since I have Siri I’ll never need to use the hey skullcandy feature. App is okay, I just feel it’s kind of excessive

App doesn’t work. Recently bought a pair of the Rail-ANC to see how they fair while I wait on getting AirPods Pro 2. The buds themselves are great, extremely comfortable and have good quality sound but since the EQ can be tweaked in the app I thought no big issue I can change them soon. Downloaded the app and it doesn’t even recognize that they exist. There aren’t any threads that help with the issue. Skullcandy’s website practically refuses to acknowledge that it may be an app issue as it says to disconnect and reconnect, unpair then repair, reset your phone even and STILL nothing connects. Funny how the app is slated for their “smart” technology when the app is anything but smart. Don’t waist your time/money on their iq enabled products. Go with another brand. They’ve fallen very far from where they used to be.

Won’t connect when using iPad but connects when using iPhone:-(. The device works properly on my iPhone but the app does not work on my iPad. The app won’t recognize that the devices are connected via Bluetooth. The app shows the device is connected but keeps giving a message to allow Bluetooth permissions.

It’d be fine but…. The custom equalizer settings DO NOT SAVE. I put the settings pretty low because the Rail earbuds are a little loud for my sensitive hearing, but the settings randomly shift back to whatever it was before, which even on the lowest volume is a little too loud for me. I spent a little too much on these earbuds for them to be too loud for me to use, so it’d be nice if the equalizer stayed at what I set it to.

Too low awareness mode!. Well, it seems that this company doesn’t care or answer customers concerns!However, the headphones “Crusher 2 aren’t bad at all. The only complaint I have is that the awareness mode is too low! This are expensive set of headphones and I think an update to increase awareness volume will increase the awesomeness of this expensive head set and will definitely set it apart from all others! “Stay aware” at max volume you can hear about 65 to 70 % if you’re close to the person you talking too. Please update and increase volume of “Stay Aware” feature! Thank you.

Lack of Customization. It's great that you can customize some features, but it would be even better if SkullCandy would basically let you forget about gimmicky features that you never plan to use. I will never ever, and I mean ever, use voice control. So the little audio blurb telling me that it's off is a minor waste of my time, but it also plays over the audio I actually want to hear. This is a minor inconvenience, but it just makes me roll my eyes every time I hear it. It reminds me every time that as soon as another company gets its act together and makes a set of quality, waterproof, hooked, true wireless headphones with physical buttons but without any stupid gimmicks, I'm throwing these away and deleting this app forever.

Never connects. Ever since this app has come out, I have never been able to connect it to my Grind headphones. Its is connected yo my iPhone, it works (basic functions) and it will connect to Skull Candy app. I have done all the troubleshooting tips to include deleting that old app, rei stalling IQ, turning bluetooth off and on, reconnecting etc…Nothing works. Its awful.

The biggest draw of the app doesn’t work. The personal audio feature doesn’t work for me no matter how many times I reboot or reinstall it. It takes me to the test and refuses to play any audio, or on the rare occasion that it DOES, it plays it for half a second before going silent again. It’s pretty ridiculous and contacting support got me nowhere. I have the Rail ANC. :/

Turn off button needed - in app. Love the headphones, but I often use only one side at a time so I can listen to my kids if needed and music or a book. The right one let’s you turn it off, but the left one doesn’t have the same function. Would be a great app update if I could just turn the headphones off from inside the app.

Equalizer not Saving. Idk if anyone is having trouble with this but the equalizer changes aren’t Saving after you exit the custom eq menu. Please fix This asap devs. Very irritating

Doesn’t work half the time. Most of the time it cannot connect to my earbuds. Like I am listening to music through both earbuds, my earbuds are connected through blue tooth, but it says it cannot connect when I just want to check battery or settings. Also, half the time my left will pair but not my right, so I was hoping for an option that would let me try to fix that but there really isn’t much in terms of customization and updates.

keeps disconnecting. I use the app for my crusher ANCs bc it allows me to set up a personalized sound profile, control the crusher function, and remap buttons. Lately though this app has been randomly disconnecting from my crushers. I’ve been using this app for about a year and it’s never done this before but in the last 2ish weeks i’ll be listening to my music and suddenly it’ll tell me it’s disconnected. Also, this time I was unable to reconnect my headphones, so i’ve uninstalled an i’m re-downloading to try to fix it. I hope this connection issue gets fixed soon (assuming it’s something with the app bc nothing’s happened to my headphones lately)

Either works or won’t. Simple. You are one of two people. One gets a working app, that connects to what it’s compatible with..like normal. The others get a useless app and lose half of the features to their headphones because the app refuses to connect to anything at all. I have anc 2 headphones (which btw I didn’t know, soon enough, they will lose about all base, the base wheel makes no difference when shot all the way up or all the way down…literally could of gotten another pair of evos for half the price) this app refuses to connect. The whole reason I’m trying this app after months of having my anc 2 is to find out whether or not I can fix the bass (like I said, there’s no more base, no rumble) but app is just giving me the finger. I give it back. Why even change the app???? The other app, used with the evos, is simple and actually works… I’m fuming and ranting I’m so fed up. I stg

Awesome app but here are some tips. If your app is having a hard time connecting or loading just disconnect your headphones but leave the app open and then reconnect them and the app will work But first step don’t turn on headphones yet, first let the app load first then turn headphones on for immediate connection and voice control will be on! Decent app, lacks full customization…. I hope a person on the skull candy team finds this- I bought the Crushers ANC 2 not long ago, and this app is required to tweak things, I’ve set things up to my liking, but it feels like features are missing. For example the buttons make an obnoxious noise that I’m unable to turn off. and with the new scroll wheel thing, I absolutely hate that I’m unable to turn off or change the single press input. I can’t tell you how often I’ve gone to increase or decrease the bass just to accidentally press the button and change what I wanted. It’s annoying. I really hope someone on the scull candy team sees this, because I guarantee giving people full customization would be amazing. If you’re gonna market full customization, please give it.

Pretty good to start. So I got these headphones and tried out the app and it worked. But now it just logs me out and won’t let me go in to it. Now I can’t use the amazing features anymore. And before it was working but the voice control would not. Please help!!

Ok app. It’s a good app to use but some of the features do not work since last update. I had controls set to left headphone but it does not recognize it any longer and stays on right headphone no matter how many times I’ve update the device settings. Great headphones though. No other issues except that.

Great when it works. It’s great when it works. But I notice if you close out of the app completely like swipe up and clear out the app, it disconnects from your headphones. So you need to have the app open all the time in the background 🫤

Unable to connect ANC 2, got no help from CS. Just received the crusher anc 2’s. A lot of functionality is missing due to the skull iq app being unable to find and link these headphones. These anc 2’s are barely better than the evo crushers and in their stock form I don’t think they sound better than a tuned evo crusher. 1 star app rating until this gets fixed

Resets every time. Absolutely terrible app. I assumed this would be better than the previous app due to the upgraded features and functionality. But wow this app is a joke. Every time I connect my Crusher ANC 2, it asks if I want to allow the app to connect or ignore. Of course I want it to connect! That’s the whole point. I set the EQ to movie mode, but every time I reconnect my headphones, it defaults back to Music mode. I spent the necessary time setting up “Personal Sound”, but I realized the next time I reconnected, it deleted my profile and wanted me to run through the tests all over again. Really?! Don’t advertise these fancy features if you can’t even get them to work properly. I’m honestly surprised the only thing it does remember are the extra button settings I set up.

Doesn’t connect. I have no idea how good the app is because I can’t get them to connect to my grind fuels. I just bought them and I can’t use the features I bought these 90$ earbuds for. They’re no better than the 30$ sesh evos I had before this(actually the audio is better because I don’t need an app to fix the equalizer) If someone could fix this, that would be great Thx👍

Disappointing Experience with Skull-IQ App. I recently purchased the Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 headphones and was eager to fine-tune the sound through the Skull-IQ app. However, I encountered a frustrating roadblock: the app repeatedly stalls at the "test paused" phase, falsely detecting other audio apps even when none are in use. Despite closing all other applications and attempting various troubleshooting methods, I've been unable to proceed with the sound optimization process. As a result, I'm unable to fully utilize the app's features and maximize my listening experience with these headphones.

Crusher problems. Now it’s not long that i was enjoying this bass sound but this has happened to me for the second time cause i have bought the skull candy anc 2 twice but the same problems returns the crusher bass on the headphones are not strong at first they sound really good but after some time the sound changes and instead of good music it’s bad and noisy and low on the sound may you please fix this problem for we really love the candy crusher and we want to buy more

Not the evos. To be honest going into these headphones i thought they would be better than my evos hearing that they head noise cancellation but this is false advertising the noise cancellation doesn't do anything the app is extremely difficult to use and the base does not hit like the evos overall these headphones are just a bad experience if you have evos just keep them bro dont be like me

Hate the app. I usually don’t write reviews but I have no idea what’s going on with this app. Everytime I’ve tried to connect my headphones it says that they cannot connect. My headphones are above 25% Usually always fully charged and my internet is fine, I’ve never had any problems with Bluetooth but for some reason I cannot get the full access to the app at all. I don’t know what’s going on but it pisses me off. And I’ve tried deleting the app, reconnecting my headphones but nothing. The headphones are fine, they work amazing, but this app is horrible.

App doesn’t work. Ive had my crusher anc 2s for about a month now, and still have not been able to use the app. Sits there and saying searching and for whatever reason it can’t find them, I’ve tried unpairing, repairing, deleting the app, hard resetting my headphones and nothing. I had evos and they worked flawlessly. I can’t even enjoy have of the features that justified me getting the anc 2s. Please release an update or something to fix this because it’s ridiculous.

It’s not working. I have the Push Active and wanted to use my hands free capabilities, so I connected to the Skullcandy app and got the notification to download the Skull-IQ app. But when I tried to connect the earbuds, it just didn’t work. I accepted all of the requests, powered off my phone, and rebooting my earbuds. Still, nothing. I don’t understand why this is happening and I’m upset that I no longer get to use the features of my earbuds. If anyone knows anything that can help me, that would be nice because I have no idea why this is happening.

Annoying pop up messages. The app works well when it is open but it is constantly making unavoidable pop up messages when not in use. (Skull IQ would like to communicate with your headphones “Allow” “Ignore”) The problem is that regardless of what option you choose you’ll get the same unavoidable pop up message a couple of hours later. The app has been reinstalled a couple of times with the same issue still persisting. And the regrettable thing is that otherwise the app works really well. Even with disabling the notifications in the settings it still does nothing to stop the pop up messages. Please fix this!

Crackling noise due to software??. My skullcandy rail will not stop making a crackling noise however it is only in the left one i suspect this is a software problem because when i opened the app it said to update my rail to the newest version and now that i did, it started making that crackling noise on high volumes which is why im rating this a 1

Will not connect. This app will not connect to my Skull Candy Push Active ear buds, even though it says they will connect. They won’t even connect to the old app, that app says to use this one. When I try to connect them, it says nothing is found, even though I have the ear buds in my ears and connected to my phone via Bluetooth. I’ve never had this problem with the old app. Btw, I just installed this app, so y’all need to update it. I can’t control any of the features of my earbuds now. Thank you for replacing an app that worked great to this one that doesn’t work. Please fix this and other issues. I am sure that I am not the only one with this issue. I did try using this app several months ago and I had the same problem.

No help anywhere. I seem to have an issue to where when I try to use the equalizer or any other features my headphones disconnect and i have to reset everything to even get the app the find the headphones again. Any way I can get some help I just bought these.

Skull Candy, what happened?. I've used this brand for over 10 years, you used to be the be all end all of earbuds, now you scam people to pay exorbitant amounts of money for barely functional wireless earbuds. What you have become is embarrassing because clearly profit is the only thing that matters to you. I've paid for not only your $60 push active earbuds, but also two pairs of your push ANC buds at $100 each and both have terrible functionality with your app which is needed to program them. Almost every other day I have to unlink and relink them and reprogram the button settings. It has been over a year since I've reported these issues and I don't understand why this isn't a priority with your team to solve.

Works great with Crusher ANC 2 Headphones. I’ve never had a pair of headphones with this level of customization. I used the app to do a custom hearing test and it optimized the equalizer for my specific hearing profile. The difference in sound quality was noticeable. Love that you can program the physical buttons too and having a bass wheel on the cans means I can dial it in for whatever I happen to be listening to. And the Tile integration…I mean the list goes on. Best headphones I’ve ever owned and the app offers customizing options I’ve never had with past headphones.

Good luck connecting.. Good luck connecting your headphones to this app. Their support guide is laughable and basic turn off turn on troubleshooting. The app cannot detect the headphones, that will play music or accept phone calls. All in all spend your money elsewhere on headphones that don’t require a busted app to make the sound quality not sound like a flat tin can.

Works fine could use some things. I have had this app and the skull candy crusher anc 2 for a while now and my experience with them has been great. The app could be a little more responsive and quicker between interactions but I understand that this is a different kind of issue and may not be possible. One major thing the app needs is widget options and some Lock Screen icons for apple users. For example being able to se what my Crusher level is at or even my ANC intensity, and being able to tap it and instantly open the app to change it quicker. The last thing that I think others including myself would enjoy with the app would be speaker integrations, like with the skullcandy barrel or stomp. I would like to be able to see the exact battery level or be able to turn on the bass boost on the barrel from the app. So far my experience has been delightful but these small details make the greatest impact. I know that this probably won’t be read by anyone but I just want to say that the entire skullcandy lineup of speakers and headphones has been amazing to use on my day to day commute. I would like to include my customer service has been phenomenal. When I had problems with my crusher evo’s I sent them back with the warranty and they weren’t able to replace them but instead they made it up to me by giving me more than what I paid for and I was extremely pleased and amazed with the service I received and how fast and professional the dealt with this. Thank you

Seamless and User friendly. Y’all better stop sleeping on this app especially if you’re in the market for hands free capability. I use this for the gym and it works flawlessly

Won’t connect my earbuds to the app. Just like a lot of the other 1 star reviews it’s because I literally cannot use the app at all for my grind earbuds. I’ve tried restarting my earbuds, deleting the app and re downloading it and deleting the old one. I’ve tried forgetting this device on my Bluetooth looked for any updates nothing works… this app is completely hit or miss on whether you can even USE the app in the first place.

Skullcandy. It’s a ok app it could use more features could have better voice control and it would be nice to exit page with it being on but pretty solid app

$85 not loud enough. I’m sorry for complaining these are good headphones for not the money but when I spend 70 $80 on headphones, I expect by the music at that I listen to to blow off my eardrums in a psychedelic fashion of the money it’s worth. And they’re not noise canceling I don’t know where are you got people saying these headphones are noise, canceling it or not. They would be good headphones. If it doesn’t sound like they’re playing safety volume to the metal that I listen to when I spend 80 or $70 for the metal music that I listen to it be worth the money I could see these headphones being 40 or $30 less I spent four because of the sound I’m sorry

Fix the bug. How come I can Connect with skull candy app and not with this app.. I had multiple internet connection trough wi-fi and mobile data and it said that cannot connect because it can’t find any internet connection

Grind picks up bacground noise. I am not sure how to fix this … the grind ear buds pickup all the noise in the background when I’m on a call.

Still Works But…. My Skullcandy headphones were successfully connected, but however the personal sound test is not working, can you fix this…

Add Crusher Evo. Please Add the Skullcandy Crusher Evos to this app. The regular Skullcandy app has limited options and not that great to use. From what I have seen the Skullcandy IQ app is better and has more options. But it doesn’t support the Crusher Evos. Please add Crusher Evos ASAP.

Brutal app.. My left head phone stopped connecting. App is useless.

Connection issues. I wanted to love this app! It makes my Push Active earbuds sound incredible. However, the app keeps disconnecting my earbuds constantly for no reason. Very frustrating, and makes the app almost unusable The old app didn’t even do this as frequently! If this app didn’t do that, I’d give it 5 stars. But with this constant issue, I can’t do that.

Do not update phone to iOS 17. First of all they deserve no stars. After 9 months my left earbud stopped working. The controls keep working but no sound comes out. Everything was connected until I updated my phone to iOS 17. What they don’t tell you is that your headphones will disconnect and you cannot get them to reconnect to your iPhone. They unpair from the app and in the trouble shooting article it tells you it only supports up to iOS 16. Wait until skullcandy get there crap together before updated your phone or buying the headphones.

Frustrated. So, I don’t really know if this is a fault with the app, but it very well could be, and I wouldn’t know. Just last night, I noticed my Grind (Not Grind Fuel) earbuds started to sound noticeably bad. The case was low, so I thought I’d charge it while I slept, and it would be fixed in the morning. Come today, and the problem persists. I went into the Skull-iQ app to see if a needed updates or something, but when I tapped on the Grind section at the top of the Home Screen, it said there were no updates available. I went into settings to see what I could find, and I went to the “Product Help” page under the “Help on the Web” section. It brought me to a list of articles on their website, so I scrolled down the list and found the one called “Grind and Grind Fuel”. I read through the article, and NONE OF THE INFORMATION WAS ABOUT GRIND, JUST GRIND FUEL. Mad, I went to the search bar on their website and looked up “Grind” again. Apparently, there was a separate article for Grind, so what was with the other one?? I clicked on the article, and ALL IT WAS, WAS A PRODUCT DESCRIPTION, A PRIVATED, UNVIEWABLE YOUTUBE VIDEO, AN EMPTY FAQ SECTION, AND WARRANTY INFORMATION. Nothing of use. I don’t know if that was an old article or something, and the “Grind and Grind Fuel” article was supposed the be an updated version or something, but again, that article only mentions Grind Fuel and the Skullcandy APP. I’m confused, frustrated, and all my audio sounds awful. These headphones were a Christmas gift, and my family got these ones specifically because they were on sale, and the guy at the store talked them into it. Starting to think that worker was just trying to get rid of these. 😡

Very Frustrating. Lost my right grind fuel earbud and the app won’t update my earbuds and I can’t even connect to the app anymore.

Can’t save settings and keep disconnecting. Won’t le met change or save my settings of buttons on my Rail ANC and always disconnects. Super annoying

YouTube. Can you make or develop a feature to connect or make a exclusive connection to the YouTube Music app as well? (Would be the first of many to do so and a big boon for the future development of the Skullcandy IQ app and products as well trust me)

No better than the old app. Constant connection issues. Doesn’t make anything better really.

Not that good. Hit the headphone button when I shouldn’t have and can’t recover. Deleted app and reinstalled.

Months later. App is garbage. Grind fuel ear buds still will not connect or even be recognized… Yet they updated the app a few days ago stating that my ear buds are supported. Has the Grind Fuel ear buds for just over a year, they were absolutely amazing sound quality. The old skull candy app says they are connected, then proceeds to tell me to install Skull Iq and that the app doesn’t support them anymore: whatta joke these headphones are over 100$… seems like a scam to get me to purchase another pair. Don’t purchase skull candy, and don’t download the app..

I LOVE SKULLCANDY ONLINE SUPPORT!. I looked everywhere to find out how I could get better quality performance out of my Grind earbuds and was prepared to buy a new set... 1. I'm very hard on wireless Logitech headsets...I've destroyed a dozen of them. I'm on my first set of Grinds when I normally would have chewed through 3 wireless headsets by now. 2. They're almost unbreakable and unlose-able. I've sat on them, dropped them, etc. 3. Recharging...the Grinds I have can top up in a heartbeat which makes me happy. Skullcandy, your support person was amazing (named Airol) and saved me the pain of having to buy new more expensive earbuds. I'm disabled and have the use of one hand...now can tell everybody I know to be patient and go to the Skullcandy online chat. Thank You, Skullcandy!

Great App. I bought the push actives and saw that it suggested to get the app. I was skeptical at first after reading all the negative reviews, but after downloading the app and getting connected, the app works very well, the voice control is very handy and the built in equalizer lets you fine tune your music. Very great app would suggest both the headphones and the app.

Skull IQ Terrible. Since updating to the new app (was forced to do so!!) Push Active ear buds won’t pair. I’m very upset. Why fix something that wasn’t broken? Now these are useless. Convince me this wasn’t a scam to get me to buy a new pair. No warning, and now I have no headphones. Very not cool.

Good. No bugs, and overall pretty helpful.

My buds won’t turn off. When I got it and I used it my earbuds stopped charging in class it would start blasting music randomly and just never turned off when I tried to put my earbuds back into the case to charge…. Please fix it

Will not work or update on my iPhone.. Just bought brand new skullcandy earbuds that support the iq app. The app will not update making it useless. Skullcandy support can’t connect through anyone. Very disappointing.

Incredibly sporadic quality. The app really doesn’t improve things. If anything it seems to be doing things to the bluetooth connection to my phone as well as it’s own internal connection

Trash. Sorry but the app is #trash does not sync and is full of bugs like a 1$ hooker Be better off with ear buds that work

Doesn’t work. have brought new push active and the app saying it can’t find it and there connected Edit Like how your other skull candy app can find the headphones but not the one it’s suggesting for the dash for skull-iq got to stand for negative how you do mess this badly?

Won’t connect!. I read a bunch of reviews and I do wonder if people are getting help from Skullcandy? The new Skull-IQ app will not connect to my Crusher ANC 2’s. They connect to my iPhone but I have zero features because the app doesn’t work! The old app recognizes my headphones and says download the new app and the support is nonexistent. Please someone help!

Firmware update not going away. It constantly tells me to do a firmware update and never goes away and I have been downloading firmware for hours now just bought rail anc xt and can’t use features fix this bug please

Skullcandy Grind Fuel. Where is the share audio option for The Skullcandy Rail ANC? Some of your products have it, but yet the Rail ANC doesn’t have that option? It doesn’t make sense at all.

Does Not Function. Continually tells me Bluetooth is off when it is on, will not detect my Grinds. The old app works fine, directs me to this app, then does not work.

App. This is the worst app I have used. Well I can’t say used because it is making me download this firmware 20 times and still can’t use the app the way they say it is supposed to be used. Not a fan of it.

Will not connect to Push Active. Can’t review the app because it refuses to connect to my Push Active. Doesn’t see them, yet the older app sees them fine but can’t connect it because it says not compatible. These push actives have been out a while. Skullcandy do better.

Won’t Connect. Just got the Crusher ANC 2 and it won’t connect to the app. I’ve updated my phone, turned everything off and on again, deleted and redownload the app and it still won’t work.

Naming. I enjoy everything the app offers but I would like to rename my headphone as I have more than one pair. Renaming them would help a great deal.

Could be better. My main problem is the app not wanting to connect to my skullcandys properly so i have to uninstall and reinstall the app just for it to work again. Pop up messages are annoying as well.

Can’t connect. I can’t even connect my headphones at keeps telling me to turn them on while they are in my ears with music going. Please fix this.

Push Active Buds Don’t Connect. Used every guide available and still doesn’t connect. It’s an issue for a lot of people. Guess they don’t care unless you spend over $100 for earphones to use the other app

Firmware Update Failing... Sheesh.. I am left with only the factory functions of these Grind SkullCandy Earbuds because the firmware update consistently gets interrupted on my iPhone XS. Oh well, the app is near functionless to me but the earbuds work just fine.

App keeps Crashing. Everytime I open the app it doesn’t even last 5 minutes and it closes the app completely

everything was great. until this app released and we needed to use aswell. i currently have my left blinking red 5 times without connecting while the right connects just fine . no guides are helping and can give me an answer . i was vouching for these pushactive headphones until this happened .

Not fully customizable. Im hoping they add more features like on the normal skullcandy app because it’s annoying not being able to personalize as much as I need.

Won’t finish updating. Recently got new Rails and the firmware update won’t go through. Everything works, including the step where the headphones turn off and on. But then nothing happens and it says “something went wrong”.

Firmware Update Loop. I just got the new Rails and after downloading this app I was required to install a firmware update. However, whenever I finish the update it just keeps making me update it again and I can’t even use the app.

App doesn’t work. I have tried 3 different types of head phones none of them connect this app is trash.

Free Music. I love the voice capabilities! Especially being able to ask for any artist from iHeart.

Handy. I use this with my Skullcandy Crusher ANC 2 headphones. It works well.

Hasn’t worked since iPhone 16.5.1 update. Please update software to be compatible with iOS 16.5.1 It will no longer connect to my iPhone 12 Pro/detect my Push Actives.

Doesn’t allow me to accept the conditions. Tells me to swipe right but I can’t get the app to work.

Please add a widget. This apps pretty solid and is useful for customizing my headphones, but it would be cool if yall could make a widget for my Home Screen to change the bass and stuff from my phone

App won’t connect to rail ANC. I have had to reconnect to the app several times because it keeps disconnecting and now it won’t even recognize my earbuds anymore. I have no connectivity issues with my Samsung work phone however

Update. Been trying to update my headphones your app keeps telling me there’s an update and it keeps failing the update. Bought these headphones a month ago and now I can’t even use them due to them disconnecting

Useless. Absolutely useless of a app! Every time I open it it needs to connect and it fails to connect EVERY TIME! I bought 70$ Rails and this is the experience I’m givin? FIX UR APP!

Push active can’t find my iPad. Skullcandy push active can’t find my iPad so I can’t pair it. I’m rather upset since I don’t want to have to carry two different sets of earphones.

Basically unusable. it’s ridiculous that you need an app to control your headphones. not to mention the app is ALWAYS in need of an update. i understand fixing bugs but every single time i open it an update is required. the button controls don’t make sense. i regret buying the headphones.

Won’t connect to Rail earbuds. I was able to connect the app to the earbuds when I first got them but lately, the app won’t connect to the earbuds.

App has issues with Rail anc. This app constantly has issues where all of my button settings are reset on my earbuds, that on top of my earbuds CONSTANTLY giving the “ready to pair” voice prompt at random after they power on, make me want to move on from skullcandy

Cannot do hearing test. Keep getting error that there is no internet connection. iPhone 14 or iPad- both latest iOS versions.

Eh….just eh. App is ok. Nothing spectacular. Need more flexibility in customization. The ear buds? Terrible. Will NOT stay in my ears. For me they were an absolutely waste of money.

Fix —-Rail ANC. Every time the ear buds disconnect for my phone all settings go back to default, mainly the touch controls. I like most of them off and in other places. Frustrating

Won’t connect to IPad. I have it connecting to my phone but cannot get it to connect to my IPad…

Grind earbuds. I’ve had 2 pairs for a year or so and all of a sudden my grind earbuds can no longer connect to skull-IQ. They’ve been fine all day til 20 minutes ago. The app sees them but keeps failing and telling me to make sure they’re powered on (which they are) and in range (which they are). This is beyond irritating

Not pairing w/ my push active Bluetooth headphones. I have tried pairing several times blaming it on cell service for not pairing. I have tried the help page, it’s more the NO help page. I have three bars of 5G, still not working. Luckily my headphones still play music and calls w/o a functioning app

One works one don’t. They only both worked together for one day. The right one won’t play anything the light comes on but nothing happens. Since I lost my receipt I can’t exchange them but I’m not the only one with this issue. I’m going back to jbl

2024. The app maybe worked for 1 full week. It literally will not let me connect my headphones. I’ve deleted the app. Redownload it. I’ve disconnected and reconnected. The app just doesn’t work.

anc 2. works fine with my new anc 2. sound wasn’t good out of the box and now with this app sounds great

Skull iq can’t find my headphones. The app won’t find my headphones for some reason even though they’re connected to my phone. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded it, turned my phone on and off, turned Bluetooth on & off. I’ve done everything but it still won’t connect to the app.
