Pretty good. I only have two issues, firstly that a video I made is refusing to export possibly due to the length, secondly there’s a strange glitch where sometimes when you go into the app random audio starts playing (and sounds glitchy) and you can’t play the video. Otherwise it’s perfect :)

Get this now. If you wanna get a fun app that you can make your own AI videos, AI pictures or anything it’s a pretty good app. You can open up your pictures and you can use those pictures and put it in your video. You can make it based on anything you want and it is so cool instead of CapCut. I got this, but this app is so nice. I’ve made a video with it. It’s so fun.

I never write reviews.. I never write reviews, but this one's worth the time . I have had this app on every device for the past 3 years minimum . It's literally the best and easiest and I only use the free version😭 i cannot wait for the day I'm able to use the paid version !

Used for 3+ years and just now writing a review. Great for utility and simple video editing, great UI that is easy to use as well as great service considering its free. You can edit long form videos as long as computer can handle it. Hasnt failed me once since I’ve been using it and is free. W

Heyyy it’s char and izz and we wanted to say that we love ❤️ this app and we use it ALL THE TIME it’s amazing for editing and we definitely recommend 👍 it’s just like CapCut it has amazing features. people say that youcut doesn’t have templates which is kinda true but at the same time they actually do have templates. It doesn’t say “templates” but they kinda do have them. 💖 One thing that’s makes us really sad (and is also the reason why we didn’t give this review 5 stars) is the youcut premium subscription. Some parents don’t allow their kids to buy things on apps, although our parents do let me buy things on apps, we don’t really like this subscription thing. We haven’t used the subscription we haven’t even tried the free trial but it’s so unfair. Of course we know you need money but it’s annoying how only people who have the subscription can use the cooler stuff and don’t have to deal with ads. We might get the subscription because who knows 🤷‍♀️ it might be worth it. Anyways if there wasn’t a whole subscription in the first place then we would definitely give this review a higher rating and we’re sure others could agree. I already left a review but it’s still good. As you saw from the title I already left a review on a different device maybe and this app is still really really good that’s why I’m giving it five stars. but, I would like this app even more if you guys added more animations please and thank you!

Good alternative. I’m just gonna start my saying this app is a good alternative to CapCut, but the animations are weird the text fonts are weird and there’s like 5 animations for text and clips and the animations are kinda janky, but I had a massive idea that will help people edit, so I know that YouCut has keyframes but when you actually use them in the app you can’t adjust the speed of the keyframe or add keyframe effects like you can on CapCut, that’s my idea.

Perfect Except No Blur Option. This is an amazing app. Super easy to use compared to others. It packs a lot in one punch. Trimming, cutting, splitting, effects, music, mute, text, speed and soooo much more. But for the life of me I can’t understand why there is no option to blur. Face blurring is a very important feature to leave out especially when you have so many other more complicated features. I hope they add it soon.

hi. Hello!!! I love this app alot but the only thing is a have an ipad for editing, so it gets cut of. I would appreciate if you could make it full screen on bigger devices!!! Also can you put more popular songs in the song option!!! ♡

I love using this app. I use YouCut all the time for my content and it has been amazing. I’m not tech savvy so it was easy enough for me to learn. Now they’ve added so many cool features to keep us updated with other editing apps. But I’m sticking to what works. YouCut!

Best editing app!!. I started YouCut from a friend. I was using CapCut before for making my edits. She showed me all about it and I was really into it and wanted to try it out so I downloaded the app. It is very very helpful and has no bad things on it, it has helped me become a small creator and I really love using this app.

Great app- 1 suggestion. The app works great and I’ve deleted and download as many times because I actually needed it on a daily basis. However, my one concern is that when you edit a lot of videos on the app and then stores a lot of data and the app becomes quite large so I didn’t have to delete the app in order to download it again and get that date off my phone even when I go and unselect the videos that it’s attached to it still seems to take up a large amount of space in my phone, so I’m not sure if I’m doing it correctly or if there’s another way to erase all the data from the app without having to uninstall it, but that’s currently my only issue

Pretty good. I actually can’t believe this is this good just by being free it’s not like crappy and horrible and it’s not like it’s one of those games where it doesn’t and any purchases. Those games are either really weird or 3-D game with no point of download other than Mods of of course. The edge are that bad not to mention all of the editing software part of it. I don’t know how to phrase. This are really, really, really good. I recommend for any people who tried, but whatever you do please remember to have your parents permission because some of the content you may be making or what they show you can be inappropriate so please ask your parents before you do this if under 12.

Amazing app!. This app is awesome to make videos and photos! I use Roblox edits for this app and it’s great! I like how you can record an audio and save it! It helps me with videos!! The most amazing part about this app! Is effects! Mostly i use neon stars and giltch! Ty for listening to review! This a good app!

Good app but. Okay great app but there is so much I think you should try to add I have a few ideas. 1. text to speech. 2. More effects and transitions(I’m not quite sure when I’m about to suggest is called but I can describe it when you zoom in, but it’s not a transition and you do the shakes and the velocity ) 3. more options for voice changers. 4. kid, friendly templates. I was not allowed to use my previous editing software CapCut because of the inappropriate templates so maybe you could add a kid friendly templates that when someone tries to upload their template to the app it does a quick look through to tell if there’s anything inappropriate in it (allow stuff like swears in the music but not anything inappropriate) 5. More text animations and fonts. I have one suggestion for a texting animation to make it look like it’s typing like a computer! Finally, I have a glitch I don’t know if it’s just my app or everybody’s! Lastly there is a Google search template, and it says that you can change the text, but I can’t. I don’t know how I am supposed to. And if you ever get to look at this review, maybe you could tell me how with a developer response! Sincerely -Nyalie!

The best of the best. I have been using a lot video editing app but this one bit them all even the free version is so generous with the tools you can use, I personally would pay the paid version of this app.

Will want my money back. Unless they can provide more features than what I could have received for FREE, I want my $14 back. The Samsung Pro version has more features in the effects than the iPhone After switching to the IPhone 14 pro max and purchasing the full version of YouCut, there isn’t much more than the free version except for the watermark removal. But that’s it. Was expecting more from the Pro version especially for Apple. Please help. I love this app.

Great video and photo editor!. Simple, effective, enough effects and options to keep me on on the ball with out distractions. Some products have too many features, in my opinion just more of the same, knowing they exist like in say, CapCut, which is a great product capcut, you cut in my opinion I find that the choices are simple, streamlined, yet effective forn my workflow… YouCut get it done!!

Why you cut is better than CapCut. You cut is free everything maybe some things aren’t but they are not important And in CapCut you need to pay per week 7,99$ I think I’m not sure. Youcuts most premium stuff are use able by watching an ad !! But remember not all of the premium items are available by ad. And you cut has probably better ai .the ai of youcut takes couple of seconds to make photo anime.

You all rock!!. I love this app and I’ve only had it for two days!! My only issue is that no matter what I try, it doesn’t let me use my own music from my library in my videos, which Really stinks honestly. Fix that and it’s five stars from me! But still, I would recommend this to ANYONE!! Edit: OMG! I did not think that you guys would actually give me a reply! I can’t do links but if there is any other help you can give that I can use then I would love that! Thank you so much for noticing my request.

Best ever free app. Everything you need it is here even with light version. The app is awesome. I've tried all of the top apps in video editing and found this is the best in everything. Great app one problem. The only problem I have with this app is that I’ve purchased it for a lifetime and now that I try to restore my purchase on the iPhone me too, and I do not feel like as you $50 to be able to use all the available and I’m trying to get some support on getting it restored to throw it doesn’t seem to be working very well

It’s great for my content creations. I do a lot of martial arts, MMA, and self-defense videos, and I do a really simple. I just do it on my cell phone and then I use YouCut and I have it up with a day. A lot of great features, including sound control, speed, control, and it’s really easy to edit and cut the videos.

Was great until the recent update (Dec 2024). I used to love this app but now it crashes constantly since a recent update, I think. It also freezes and is incredibly buggy. Prior to it being riddled with bugs and crashing constantly…it actually used to be a great app. It was very user-friendly and has fairly intuitive interface. Nice features as well. I’m so bummed it crashes all the time now. PLEASE FIX THIS APP it no ok get works well on my 14 Pro Max

I see people moving from CC to here. People want to edit their videos without watermark free. Thanks to this app. Add more paid pro features. They will buy pro features when they need or want. But don’t add water mark in pro features. Thank You.

I love this but…. I love this app, it’s fun to mess with and quite easy! But I do have one problem. Whenever I go to make a song, and then try to record vocals, it’s always scratchy and not vary good. Plus, as soon as I press record for my voice, the music shuts off and I can’t sing along to the tune, which makes it a bit hard to record and concentrate. I don’t know if I need to hook up a actual mic, but, I don’t got one of those, I just have this iPad. But other then that, it’s amazing! It’s so easy to use and is just fun. For anyone who just wants to play around I little bit first, it’s super easy, plus, it’s free with only a few adds to unlock some music. Though it would be kinda nice to be able to make your own music, kinda like a DJ thing. But yeah, it’s really good, me and my bff have so much fun with it. YouCut’s Curve Absence. I have been using this for well over 2 years—majority is on a larger device like a tablet—and right now I haven’t faced one singular problem. That’s until I noticed that something is off which is really, REALLY bothering me. The curve feature is absent from the editor! Fix it and then you’ll get the rating back up to 5

Youcut just got so much better I was going to make an edit on CapCut, but I remembered that I had you cut so went on YouCut and I made a edit and they had a affect that was so good and they didn’t have a recap cut so I did CapCut a one star cause it’s not that good anymore but YouCut is so much better. Needs more options. Frankly, the program is nice and everything, but needs more additions and options. The transition movement are few and repetitive. If you add more options. I would have become completely dependent on it. However, I only depend on it for some of it’s distinctive features, such as sound.

fix the captions. So I have been using this app since CapCut is temporarily down, and it’s been ok. More of a CapCut dupe and there is much more ads. The captions are HORRIBLE. I tried generating captions and it came up with a random sentence saying “Turn the lights off it’s my world”. Please fix this

Basic things aren’t behind a paywall. In a lot of editing programs that I’ve tried many things that are essential for making videos are behind a pay wall thankfully for this app everything I need it available and things that are nice but extra are behind the pay wall!

Video not saving. I updated youcut pro. I have 15 min long video but at the end i am being able to save it. When it stats saving, goes up to few% and goes back again to 0%. I tried multiple times and the same issues ☹️☹️

Please fix. When I add the “mix” transition my app freezes. I’ve updated and all. When I freezes, I have to clear out the app and then get back on it, then scroll/swipe all the way to the point where it froze. Will work again till I add another transition. Then freezes. I pay for pro. And I hate when I’m 15 minutes into an edit for the app just to shut down or freeze. Other than that, I love the app. 4 stars just cause I have to go back to where I was when it freezes. Kinda irritates me

Satisfied. I have had this app on my phone for a while now. I just started using it a lot recently to make football highlight videos for my kids football teams. Works great. It’s easy and quick. Has really good transitions and effects. Also a good variety of music you can add to your videos, or you can add your own. And a yearly subscription is only $9.99. Very pleased with this app. Only issue lately, sometimes when I add a transition between clips, the playback won’t work and I’ll have to back out of the project and go back in. That’s a little annoying. If you could fix that, it’d be great.

App Devs Actually Have Integrity!. There’s many apps out there that require an “In-app purchase” just to use the most simplest features. With YouCut there’s no need to buy anything to create a video that you will be satisfied with. I’ve been using this app for years now and I don’t plan to stop! I don’t need to cry anymore. I have been trying to submit these videos to school for HOURS. I have tried zipping, compressing, air dropping, emailing, google linking, deleting things for more space, duplicating, and finally found something that will let me cut them into smaller enough pieces to upload. I might be able to get 4 hours sleep before work…. Thank you…. You saved my sliver of sanity.

Almost just like CapCut!!!🤩 could use templates. So this app is just like CapCut except for that it has no templates which is a bit of a let down. I would love Templates in this app if they could add that next update that would be awesome! And it would be great if anyone could make templates for this app if the developers added them. Also if they added templates I wouldn’t delete the app if CapCut gets unbanned because the editing part is way easier than CapCut in my opinion but I just wish it had templates.

Love This App. I have been using YouCut for years and it has always provided great editing results. It allows for seamless transfer to my social media apps. Cropping, adding music, compiling multiple videos into one, speed up or slow down , splicing , adding text on the video. Best editing app that I have used thus far.

I like YouCut but. Video upload.... Too much.. It‘s slow... And if someone calls me, and I have to answer the call, I have to give up uploading the video and start over from the beginning. If you try to upload a video for editing and it’s canceled, and if this happens again while uploading it again.. It took 2 hours last time.. So I can‘t do everything when I upload.. On my phone. 77 percent... Restart 0% Cancel again This situation has been repeated many times.. But everything is good except for this. So 4 stars!

This is better then iMovie!. Omg I love this app, I thought nothing could be better then iMovie after I got a new phone it wouldn’t let me download iMovie because I need to be on iOS 16. after I use this app OMG it’s so simple and there’s barely ads, it only show me ads and I save my video which is less than 10 seconds, only one ad. I used to use iMovie to make POV videos to me they look cool. Every other app are like bad, I remembered wanted to edit a gaming video I made, it was working for a little bit then after it stopped working and acted like dog water, maybe I should tell you the app so you don’t use it ,no I won’t. Great, free and easy app. This is my fav app for editing my videos for social media. It was the most intuitive one I’ve found and everything you need is free, with the exception of some transitions and filters. The only ads are after you save a video, and the only ads I’ve ever had are the 5 sec ones. Others may need more than this app offers, but as someone who only needs the basic functions, this is perfect

Love this app !. While i am searching in my browser this app shows .. I was looking for how to edit my videos that it’s not complicated for me to use it .. It’s a way better and easier to edit my videos and photos !!

It won’t let me export. I have tried and tried and tried again, trying different Wi-Fi connections, restarting my iPad, restarting the app, no matter what I do it won’t let me export. It doesn’t even load it just says the export failed. Also the playback has been really glitchy and either not playing the video, sound not working, clips seem sped up where they aren’t supposed to be, etc. This app was fine at first, and I spent 3 days editing a video, all for nothing because I can’t save it. PLEASE HELP!!! 1 star until this is resolved. There’s no point in a video editor that doesn’t let you save.

Learning curve but easy to use. Just got this a couple days ago and have never screen recorded or edited videos ever. This app is easy to use, once figured out. Doesn’t take long though. You get an ad after you save your video. That’s it! Great for a free app!

YouCut is not bad for normal editing!. YouCut has minimal ads, not much is pro (awesome!!) and the ui is also great! I would love to see more options for text and animations and those sort of things. But YouCut is still a great app and will be using for rest of my videos. Thanks for making an app like this!

Wonderful free app. My first time editing videos but my 11year old son uses it and he loves the app. Will see how it goes , will review it again in the future.

I do like this app. I really do like this app just I think some dumb decisions were made like why put a cap on the volume, and if your going to make a cap put it higher then 200%. But over all I love this app, keep up the great work

Its a nice app. Quite limited in what it can do and lowkey wish there was a way too see and organize your layers but other than that it's good, no watermark and it enhances videos nicely

Ads forcing apps. I liked this app, and I can tolerate ads in the free version BUT today when I edited a project it popped up a full screen ad, telling me my phone was infected and trying to FORCE an app on me. There was no way to get out of this screen without closing YouCut. I had to run my project 3 TIMES before I got one of these full screen ads that I could actually get out of. Devs? Get your sh|t together and do better. PS - I’d BUY the app for a one time price, but I refuse to subscribe to software that I might use a few times a year.

It’s good free, great paid. I never write app reviews, but this app has been keeping me TOGETHER over the years. finally bit the bullet and bought the subscription too and it’s hella worth it. It’s just a no nonsense app. No ads, easy to use, there’s light/colour editing, captions, you can add your own music, all the stuff I need to make videos and reels. 10/10

Sport videos. Genuinely one of the best video edit apps I’ve ever use, especially with the new warp slow motion. Helps editing skating and any action sport

Awesome. It’s really fun but most of the effects and other things are PRO and I don’t want to get pro because it costs so much money but overall it’s fun! 9/10

Need more music options!. Just not enough

Good but can be fixed.. Dear YouCut developers, There are two things that I hope you guys can add to YouCut. 1. A layer video/photo option: I wish I can use this so I can add layers so I can use them for my indie series I’m working on for its green screen transition and I think it can be used for it. 2. Dark mode?. There seems to be no option for “Dark mode”. This app needs improvements and a record button for over dubbing. Then I’ll consider purchasing

An Underrated Gem. It’s not Final Cut, but you can make beautiful projects with it. I would recommend the pro version.
