used to be a great way to kill down time…. i like this game (basically Wordle that you can play constantly) and enjoy the challenge. it was fun and my go-to whenever i had a little time to pass. the newest updates/additions have made this game unplayable to me and i will be uninstalling the app after this review. recently they added ads to the game. i understand the need to generate revenue so the ads themselves don’t bother me. the fact that i need to watch part of the ad before i can skip the ad (pretty standard) then watch a shorter part of the same ad after i already pressed skip only to have to press skip AGAIN (seriously annoying) and then to make the user watch ANOTHER short segment of the same ad to be able to finally close the ad is too much, especially since the user has to endure this between each and every puzzle they want to play. my gf and i like to compare scores and compete (even though some words are more difficult than others and we’re never guessing at the same word) but the newest update created a pop-up screen at the completion of a puzzle that cannot be closed so you cannot go back and review or take a screen shot of the puzzle you just finished. i hope they fix some of these issues for future players. sadly, my gf & i will not be around to find out

New update - too many ads. Idk about other people, but I loved the simplicity of the game. You guessed the word then went into the next way. There wasn’t any goals or extra challenges or anything. Just a fun simple word game. But the new update now has ads between every word which is insane. It doesn’t take that long to guess a word so having an ad every minute or so is so excessive. And not just any ads, but the ones that you have to X out of like three times and it takes you to the App Store if you’re a millimeter off from the x. It’s awful. This was a calm game for me to play when I have a few minutes, but now I spend half the game time watching ads and I do not feel calm. They just sold out because wordle got popular.

Zero score. I’ve been playing this game for about a month now and with this new update, I was happy to see some other features added, like a leaderboard…until I see I have a zero for a score while others somehow, miraculously have over 30K for a score. I’m on level 440 with an average solve rate of 4/6 and 96.5% solve percentage. I roughly calculated what my score should be and came up with approximately 30K as well. I continue to play and was able to put together a score of 1008 today. Yet when I just got back in, it once again shows 0 for a score. Either there is something I’m missing somewhere or the scoring mechanism is flawed somehow.

App doesn’t work anymore / APP FIXED NOW YAY. Update: a day after I posted the review below, my app worked again! And then today, ruby games studio reached out to me to try to fix it. No response needed as it is fixed now so I’m updating my review. This app was awesome! I was addicted! But then they changed the graphics and added in ads. Ok. No problem. Everything has ads. But then a few days later it just stopped working for me. It goes to the loading screen and never loads. It’s just frozen. I tried to contact the site that runs this app but when you click the contact button it takes you to the wrong screen. Unfortunately, I’ll have to delete the app. It was fun while it lasted Wordus.

Ruined with update. Used to be good. Clean and simple interface. Just a simple clean look. No frills. After the update now it’s crap. Added ads and changed the look. Very disappointing. Obviously their plan all along. This was just a bait and switch. Put out a clean and simple app with no ads, let it build up a bunch of positive reviews and then switch it for this new crap so that people see all the great reviews and think this app is better than it is. I am willing to bet that they always had 2 versions of this app from the start. This version has just been sitting there waiting until all the good reviews built up and then boom. Bait and switch. Well the joke is on them. The change is far too vast of a difference. It completely changes the experience and the 1 star reviews are flooding in. It won’t take long for that overall review to start dropping. Should have made the changes subtle.

New changes are not good. I like the game, but only because of how low-key it is. I don’t like the new leaderboards, which encourages me to think about how others are doing and comparing myself to them. I can ignore them tho, so it’s not too bad. What I REALLY don’t like is the new hints that pop up. They make me feel like I'm not being given a chance to think, that the app is telling me to either hurry up or take a hint. I don’t want hints, I want to work things out myself, but the hints pop up so intrusively they make me uncomfortable. Please remove the hints or make them unobtrusive, so I can go back to a nice low-dress game.

Close second to Wordle. I happened to find this app when I was looking for Wordle. Although this doesn’t have the hype that Wordle does, it is a great close second. The object of the two games are the same—identify the word in only six tries. Tile colors are also the same: grey means the letter is not in the word, yellow means the letter is in the word but not in that location, and green means the letter is in the word and in that location. Plus side: You can play multiple times in any given day whereas Wordle offers only one word per day. Down side: If you aren’t able to identify the word in Wordle, you can Google it to get the answer, whereas in this app, if you can’t identify the word, there is no way to find out what it was—or at least no way that I’ve found. All-in-all, I believe it is a great brain app.

Wordle - Brilliant!!. Finally a word game without annoying ads, no bells, no whistles, no gimmicks, no unnecessary bubble gum fluorescent graphics, and no hints or other advantages available for a fee. Cheat apps would serve no purpose as the game is only currently offered in solitaire format. Maybe it’s best that way if that’s what it takes to be free of corruption. Enjoy unlimited free play with what appears to be the official Scrabble players word list. The game didn’t balk when I tried starting with ASKOI. I figured that was obscure enough to test it. DEBIT was revealed to be the winning play. Whatever word game challenges you enjoy this game is sure to compliment them.

Glitch. Wordus is a great mind training game. But I came across a HUGE glitch. I was playing and typed the word, like usual. And of course it was a word, but said: NOT A WORD. After I gave up and typed a random word, it said the exact word I typed in! So our word was kinda. We had the inda and when we typed the k with one guess left and the k still available it said kinda was not a word? Has this happened to anyone else? I play this game every night. I have a only “lost” twice. Why would this happen? Otherwise, this game is really fun to play. But if you can deal with this, go on and try it out.

Great game, but not fond of update. This has been my go-to for mobile, unlimited Wordle. My only issue was the obscurity of some words available. However, with the most recent update, there are ads and a less minimalistic layout, along with better words. I would be fine with the on screen ads if the long, forced ads no longer existed. I would also like it if only hints caused an ad. This would make the game more enjoyable and more like the original. If these long, repeated ads continue, I may just use ad-free browser alternatives (like hellowordl)

Great but needs fixes. Overall I really like this game. It’s challenging and a great way to keep your mind active. Spent hours in a row playing it without getting bored. Since this is a new game there are definitely things to be improved. There are no real instructions but it wasn’t hard to figure out. Level numbers would be a nice addition so you could keep track of how many levels you’ve done or compare with others (I play with my family a lot). Also if I leave the app and come back, the word I’m working on sometimes disappears and I can’t finish that word, which is frustrating.

Still has ads even when you pay to remove them. I downloaded this game when it was a simple no-frills wordle knockoff. It had simple graphics, ran fast, and most importantly had no ads. I regretted eventually updating the game and seeing ads, but I caved and decided to pay to have the ads removed. But now with the recent update it doesn’t appear to be no ads anymore, despite paying. There’s an annoying lightbulb button on the keyboard that tempts you to push it, and without any warning launches you into a long ad that you can’t close out of without going to a purchase screen. I’ve not figured out what it does exactly because I don’t want to watch this whole ad, but more importantly, why is this ad-button even there if I paid to remove ads? Now it’s even worse, there’s an additional lightbulb button in the top right corner, which presumably does something different, but what that difference is I couldn’t tell you, as it seems to also take you to another ad. Finally the game has become super cluttered with new features, like these “gems”, whatever those are. Every update makes the game worse. I’m going to delete this and find a simpler truly ad-free wordle knock off.

Cut down the ads!. This would be 5 stars if it weren’t for the recent update that now inundates you with an obnoxious amount of ads. I’ve got dozens of apps with ads, but they at least let you get 3 or 4 rounds of a short game in before the ads pop up. These are in between EVERY SINGLE GAME! On top of which, if your phone is on silent the ads still come blaring out at top volume. Totally takes the enjoyment out of using this. It’s a shame because it can be a fun, addicting app without being bombarded, and now I don’t want to play until you tone it down (volume and quantity)

Really. The game is good for the most part. Following all the game rules I came up with yyric. No such word using these letters. I resorted to google anagrams when I was totally mystified. The actual word was lyric, but according to the clues given the second y was not part of the word. They have a hard word that shows up every so often and that word is so obscure that even with a decent vocabulary the chances of arriving at that word is very questionable. I wanted to voice my opinion within the game itself, but found no way to do so, thus this review. I enjoy the game and hope these complaints can be dealt with.

Ads - the bane of every free app user. Wordus was a beautiful thing until one day I reached a predefined quota and saw the game become subsumed in an ocean of ads. Ads. Ads preceding and following each game in multiples of 1 and 2. Ads scrolling across half the screen while the session is in play. The experience was ruined. So I upgraded to the Pro version for the satisfaction of buying back my concentration. At first the $3.99 investment was money well spent. No ads, no annoyances, no eye-bleeding distractions. After a day or three, however, Wordus Pro was enhanced with a “hint” button that bounced from cell to cell appealing to the user’s sense of resignation (at first) then beseeching the user to take the hint just to make it go away. Surprise, surprise. The hint button pages out of the game window into another (guess what), another ad. And perhaps the most infuriating aspect of this app is there’s no way to override hints option in the settings menu. If not for game itself being quite enjoyable, I wouldn’t give the ap more than 1 star. If you love being besieged by ads and having your focus interrupted by a barrage of visual noise, this is the game for you. Enjoy.

MAJOR DOWNGRADE. okay i USED to be addicted to this game, like a week ago. HOWEVER, WITH ALL THE IDIOTIC "UPDATES" YALL DID, IT RUINED THE INTEGRITY OF THE GAME. THE WHOLE POINT OF ME DOWNLOADING THIS GODFORSAKEN APP WAS THAT IT WAS AN IDENTENTICAL COPY OF WORDLE, JUST UNLIMITED AND IN APP FORM. NOW ITS NOT AT ALL LIKE WORDLE. EXAMPLES: -THE WORDS CAN HAVE AS LITTLE AS 3 LETTERS AND AS MANY AS 6 LETTERS, LEAVING A WAY LESS CHANCE OF YOU WINNING -THE APP LOOKS TERRIBLE. THATS IT, IT JUST MAKES MY EYES WATER ITS SO BAD. -THERES LEVELS NOW???? WHAT?!!$7:&/82 THATS SO STUPIDDDDD AND UNNECESSARYWYHWHSHDBE -NOT LETTING YOU SCREENSHOT HOW WELL (OR NOT SO WELL) YOU DID ON THAT "LEVEL" 😐😐 I HAD A WHOLE ALBUM GOING OF ALL THE WORDUSES AND WORDLES I HAD WON AND IT IS OVER 200 AT THE MOMENT AND NOW THAT IS COMING TO A CRASHING HALT BECAUSE OF YOUR IDIOT COMPANY. What happened???. I found this game bc I had heard about worlds like everyone else but I don’t like the one puzzle a day garbage. I was loving this app soooooo much. I have already done 70 puzzles within a week and they have been challenging and I truly figured this is a way to keep my brain active. I was recommending this app to everyone! Then this morning I go on and bam - the whole page looks different and now there are ads!!! I guess I knew it couldn’t last to be a free form of fun and engagement. I get it. People have to make money. And I apologize for being greedy 🙂 I’ll probably pay to have no ads bc I do love the game. I’m just disappointed that the change seemed to come out of no where. Maybe it happens at game 70? Or maybe when everyone realizes this is a great game. Thank you though for the unlimited games. And after reading other reviews I do notice that you take the suggestions seriously. I noticed so many things mentioned already implemented. That is a sign of good developers.

Update. The update is bad. I see a lot of people are upset about the ads, but I’m not upset about that (just turn on airplane mode, guys). What I’m annoyed by is that every time I submit a guess, I have to choose the character length of my next guess. What’s the point in this? It’s just in the way and it doesn’t provide any value to the game. It’s like the devs are just adding features for the sake of it, without thinking about whether or not it’s necessary or useful. Why would I want to guess a 3 letter word when the answer is always 5 letters? Just stop guys, you’re ruining your own app. I’m literally just going to find something else, because lord knows there’s plenty of other wordle knockoffs out there.

Total sell out “update” this week. I found this when I first heard about Wordle (like many others) and I loved its simplicity, lack of obnoxious ads, and how you could guess however many words you’d like in a day (vs Wordle’s one-a-day model). They’ve had a recent update to make it a leveled game (…why?? No one asked for that) with a leaderboard (-_-) and now it has ads galore with a feature to pay to remove the ads. It just feels like a complete sell out with no regard for the users who came to it for how different it was to other games out there right now (simple concept/gameplay with no extra frills). Sorry I just can’t get behind this downgrade of an “update.”

Feb 18 update ruined it completely. This was a great game. Simple, no ads, no fluff, no annoying animation. Just open it, play some levels, nice to look at, pretty teal and orange colors, it was great. Then they updated it today, February 18, 2022. It is completely ruined. It’s the exact opposite of how great it used to be. It now takes forever just to open and load, whereas before it was instant. There are annoying animations, and of course ads flashing all over the place, at the bottom of the screen and between games, ones you can’t close out of, etc. It’s horrible. My phone was literally hot after playing one game, just due to the sheer amount of flashing ads all over the place. $4 to remove ads? Not a chance. There’s also now some stupid leaderboard and “levels” and junk. And of course they want you to connect to social media and all that garbage. They completely killed the simple, pleasant, low maintenance, nice looking interface. I had to uninstall it. I’m so disappointed.

Worse Update Ever. Prior to the most recent update I would’ve given them a 5 start rating. The NEW UODATE RUINED EVERYTHING. 1. The ads make the game unbearable. They show up so quickly after you submit, that you can’t even look at the last word you guessed. You can’t share that awesome first or second word guess with your friends. 2. The new keyboard format is much less clean than the recent one, adding wiggling icons and hint button (if you watch another ad of course) further complicate a design that was Not broken in the first place. This all used to be a simple word game app for you to play and get your kind off of things. Now it’s just like every other app in the App Store. An ad revenue magnet that could care less about your overall experience as king as you are forced to watch and ad. Do not download unless you want to spend more time being told about other games than actually guessing words. I think i would genuinely get more enjoyment out of just flipping through the dictionary.

Newest Update. The most important complaint would be about the ads. There are so many. It’s just annoying because they’re literally everywhere. I understand having to make money but the ads are so long, you have to pay $4 to get rid of them and again, they’re everywhere. Second, and this is just a personal preference, the new interface is cheap and cheesy, if that’s the right way to word it. I don’t need a leaderboard or a way to save my progress. The new colors are visually unappealing and plain gross. The new logo is a graphic design failure and the new update’s appearance is just plain trash. I miss the simple, play the game, and that’s it version we had before. Anyway, I deleted it.

Tried no ads version for 3.99 …. I LOVED the old version of Wordus, that changed abruptly a couple nights ago, lost all my stats!! I decided to pay the 3.99 for no ads version. It’s quiet and no ads but the board looks different. The weird thing IS, after I purchased it, it shows no Wordus app on my Home Screen, so I have to go to the App Store, click on Wordus - and so far it comes up with my last play! But this seems weird, I shouldn’t have to go back every time and I HOPE I don’t loose my stats again! Please respond Wordus! Thank you!

What Happened?. I’ve been playing the game for a few weeks every day and loved it. Then one day I open to find it’s completely different. I’m not sure if the game was bought by a bigger company or what but the game’s unplayable now. There used to be no ads and I understand that as a developer you should make some money. But to have an ad after almost every single puzzle?! And as an originally free game, making ads so often while playing and then trying to force people into buying the no ads upgrade is the epitome of a bad move. The game would have been fine with ads spread out. You would have had millions of people playing and after this change I can’t see anywhere near that staying for long. The game will eventually fade away and it will come from this decision.

Great game. Not a great app. I love this game but recently they change the format. It is only available as a vertical puzzle on my iPad. Definitely not user friendly. Disappointing. In order not to have a ton of ads you need to pay $3.99 which I did. However now when I play the game they have this lightbulb that pops up around the screen in case you want a hint. I made the mistake of choosing that once. Before you get the hint you have to watch a 30 second ad. I feel like I’ve been taken. Apple you can do better at screening your apps. Just got the update. What a disappointment even after all the complaints. Changed the rating from two stars to one star.

Ruined now — WAS fun, until this week’s “update”. And now this game seems to be “sell-out” to some company that revamped it with stupid sounds, bright coloring, unneeded “enhancements,” and adverts… It used to fun to play several times per day. Take a look at the reviews for this game and notice that of the many people reviewed this game prior to this update many were very happy— and were happy because of how it WAS (and for what it was)—- BUT after the update not so much. I will refer back to the original game of WORDLE and play once a day where they don’t have any of that junk. If I can find a way back to the original edition, I’ll keep it, but otherwise I am deleting this junk today!

Fun word game (and tip below). I’ve been playing this for quite a while now. It’s fun and challenging. I thought of paying to remove the ads but read enough of the reviews that mentioned that the ads remain after paying. Why is that? I’m not paying 6.99 (it seems to have increased from what other reviewers are saying) so I’ll keep the free version as I don’t want to pay 6.99 for ads that won’t go away. Maybe the devs will see my review and let me know if this apparent ad glitch after paying to remove ads is fixed. Otherwise, highly recommend. Great words that make you think. PS if you’re on iOS and down to one guess- open safari in a partial window without closing the game to try and get help from the internet. Just don’t close the game, and slide safari open from the bottom in a partial window)

Was GREAT Before the Update. Before the update, the app flowed smoothly and quickly on my phone, had an extremely simple and easy-to-understand interface, worked offline and didn’t need internet or cellular data, and had no advertisements. I understand adding advertisements because they need revenue from their app. That doesn’t bother me. What does, though, is that the app runs so slowly now. It takes forever to load, and intrusive ads pop up randomly instead of there being any warning. The app also doesn’t work anymore without internet, and instead of letting you play if you’re in an area with a bad connection (like I often am), it prompts you to spend $3.99 to get rid of their intrusive advertisements instead. Unfortunate because the game itself is fun, and some of the update’s design changes (like the color changes and the dark mode) are great. The app is now clunky and runs poorly. It was a fantastic app before the changes, and one of my favorites! But they ruined a good thing.

They want you to pay…. I will watch an ad in order for the game I’m playing to be free. It’s standard and expected. But the cruel makers of this game want to make the process excruciating for free users. First, you have to watch one version of the ad until the tiniest arrow pops up for you to skip. If you don’t hit the one pixel that allows you to move on, you are sent to an App Store page. If you happen to hit that pixel, you are presented with a shorter ad for the same game and after five seconds the smallest “X” pops up. If you don’t hit that tiny button as well, you go back to an App Store page for the game. If you complete this stupid quest, you get to move on to the next level. If you enjoy wasting your time, this game is for you!

Glootie must be the new CEO. Loved this one and used it during my small screen/big screen time but ad wall phase just began so guessing it’s time to delete. I hate it because now I have to find another app or go back to sudoku and I’ve playing that for so long man. How much of my life am I supposed to spend staring at a 9x9 grid of boxes made up of smaller 3x3 grids while I randomly guess between 1 and 9 until my phone stops shimmying? I needed something new and exciting and I really thought you nailed it with this great new 5x6 grid guessing game. Did I mention each individual box can change colors at will? There have been a handful of times though when it stopped me before I got to fill all of them in though so I think the game might have been hacked so you should probably change your password or update your McAfee to be safe Tl;dr App good. Ads bad

Wordus is a good challenge.. I really enjoy the challenge. I haven’t tried any of the other similar word games. I like that it keeps up with your stats. There have been a handful of times that the answer was a word that I was not familiar with. I also like that they have added the dictionary for the correct answer words. I am not a big fan of the latest color changes. I prefer green for the correct letter in the correct spot instead of the blue. The ability to choose your own colors would be a nice option. Another suggestion would be to allow you to select the position to place a letter instead of always having to start with the first letter each time. Keep up the good work! Updated review. The insufferable ads that have appeared with the latest update have ruined the game for me. I will not pay a ransom for ad-free. It was great while it lasted. So long!

Awesome game. This is a great game! i totally recommend it! my friend had the game, and we would play it on the bus together on her phone and try to solve the puzzles! eventually i downloaded the game and it was super fun! i love playing by myself, or challenging my friend! Although there are a few minor details that should be worked out, i love the game! The details being that there should be different amount of letters in the puzzle and to many adds in my opinion! also the adds just keep repeating over and over again! i’ve only seen like 4 different adds on this game! But besides these small details the game is great for every age and is super fun! without those small details i would give the game snd easy five!

Love the game but needs better rewards. I love the game and I play nearly everyday. I travel and like to play the game. I’ve played nearly 2,000 games. However, I’m playing less these days for two reasons: 1. There’s been a dramatic increase in foreign and/or archaic words like vrouw (Dutch), scarf (Scottish), monde (French), etc. This forces the player to use a hint to win a game. 2. Because the game uses non-English words, the player must use more hints. Therefore, the game is set up to make you use hints in order to win especially after you reach higher levels. The most useful letter hint costs 45 pts. Rewards after a certain number of wins is 75 pts equivalent to 1.5 hints. Again, forcing the player to buy more hints or lose. I’ve already spent $30 in the last few months to buy hints. That’s my limit. When those hints run out, I will stop laying the game. My plea to the developers is to significantly increase the award points.

The newest update made the game better and worse at the same time. The reason why i am saying this is because the new update made the fame look alot more softer and cool; on the other hand, it made the game filled with ads no matter what you do. For example, after I found the word, i got 4 ads straight. Yes i know that the developers want to gain money out of it, but, you shouldve just done the hint ads or something or even make more modes that you can unlock after a certain amount of correct answers; you couldve made it that a person could pay like $4.99 to unlock everything. Over all the game was great, but now, it is just filled with ads.

Not for me, but great if you want a challenge and something close to the original. Firstly, there are no instructions. This is intended to be like the game Wordle. yellorange= the letter is in the word, but in the wrong spot; green= the letter is in the word, and in the right spot; dark gray=the letter isn’t in the word. It’s pretty much the same, except that you can only guess a word a day in the original and this allows you to play (I suspect)infinite games. This is also a little more challenging. It still uses common enough words, but I don’t find it quite as intuitive or as easy as Wordle. In the games I’ve played, it’s used words with somewhat odd letter arrangements, though still common words. I’m honestly just looking for something relaxing and easy like the original game, maybe somewhat mindless lol. For those who like the original and want just a little more challenge, this is good. It’s challenging, but doesn’t use obscure words or words unfamiliar to a US English speaker or anything like that.

Was fine before the update. This used to be a good Wordle clone that you could play as much as you wanted. I never had any issues. But since the recent update, I can't even get the app to open. It just sits on the loading screen and doesn't load. Reading through the other recent reviews and seeing that they've introduced ads that play after every round, obviously this has become just another "advertising app with an occasional game." Yes, game devs should make money from their work, but too many mobile games are 50% ads. I would've been happy to pay $0.99 or whatever for this app the way it was before. But as it is now, I'm deleting it. There's a bunch of these style games on the app store; I'll just try a different one.

Keeps changing for the worse. I liked it when it started but something changes every time I log in. Now I can’t even see how I’m doing on completions by tries without digging for it. I used to be able to see how many I got right on the first, second, third, etc try that was one click away after each game and now there’s just some stupid point system and when you do find the stats buried in your account information it’s a bar chart but doesn’t show actual quantities. I don’t care about your stupid points or even other people, I wanted to know how I was doing on solving them by number of tries.

DOWNLOAD THIS. This is a great app that does not harass you with pop ups and if you have heard of WORDLE online ( there is no app for the online game) this is the same exact game and awesome fun and practice and a great mind exercise. HOW TO PLAY- pick any random five letter word and HIT ENTER… THE GAME WILL TELL you if any of the letters in your word match the secret word to win- now- IF ITS GREEN- you found the right spot for that letter- but it will not show you if for instance there are 2 “E’s” to complete the word so you would have to add another “E” in another spot- IF ITS YELLOW- you have a letter from the word but it needs to be in a different spot- if it’s dark gray that letter is not in the secret word BEST PART is the keyboard imitates what you have entered and it won’t let you use a wrong already used letter. Your first word should have no double letters- you want to eliminate as many different letters to get you to the word faster- HAVE FUN!!! Good luck!

They are pulling a fast one! 😡. I love Wordle but it was one game a day so imagine my excitement when I found this app. It’s exactly like Wordle. For a few weeks I played for free and then they redesigned it with annoying ads all over the page and the only way to eliminate them was to pay $4.99. No problem. I loved the new interface, still the same great game. NOW, they’ve updated it again, but this time you get an annoying “hint” button that’s constantly blinking. So I tapped on it to see if there was a setting to take away the hint button because I don’t use it, and there it is….more ads. So I’ve stopped playing because I find that blinking button so annoying and I don’t want to play. Really low of them to charge you for the game, which is perfectly ok and then to redesign it in a way that makes the experience unbearable.

Beware of Ads!!. This game is great and can hold you over until the next Wordle comes out, but the ads are literally over three minutes long in between games. I decided to play for a few days before determining whether to upgrade to the no ads version for $3.99 or not. I liked it so I told myself I’d upgrade the next time it was pushed to me. Upgraded and guess what, there’s STILL ads and they’re STILL awful. Game is great but I’d pay more to not have to suffer through these terrible ads, so three stars bc their business strategy is torture.

Horrible Update. After the newest update the app has been straight garbage. Not only is the whole app ruined but it ruined the wordle experience. Let me break it down: when you first open the app you are met by these new levels and challenges, then after you click to play the "level" you are on there's an ad. Once you are in the game there are ads on the bottom. There is also this new mechanic where you can pick the amount of letters are in the word for you to guess (1st guess is 5 letters after that you can pick a 3, 4, 5, 6 letter word to guess LIKE WHAT). After you complete the level you are met by another ad. Completely ruined the app.

Update 1.5.4 is Gross. I was obsessed with this app, but it just updated to version 1.5.4 and the app no longer maintains its same entertainment value. I had played 185 times on the previous version (like I said, I was obsessed and really enjoyed this game). However, after the new update, I no longer had any desire to play this app at all. The interface is ugly and different, there are ads that run and make the app go slower, and the leaderboard was an unnecessary feature. I was fine only seeing my own stats; I don’t need to know how I rank against other players. The previous update had been perfect but it seems like they regressed and are now running an outdated version of the app (when this is actually the newest update). The previous version had been way cleaner and had a more modern look, now it looks old and is not as user friendly. I would love to re-download in the future if the developers make the smart decision do get rid of this awful update.

Used to be 5*, Latest update ruined it. It was a great app, especially when they added the ability to track your stats but now it’s been ruined. I wish I never updated it bc the screenshots shown are not what the new version looks like. Seems they were bought over and now the game is completely different and overrun with ads after every word. Will be deleting and switching to another app that resembles the older version. I can’t believe they would ruin their app with cheap money making tactics. Having to watch so many ads between each puzzle, not being able to see your stats easily, adding the nonsense of coins (and gems?)to try to get you to spend money, very disappointing. The puzzle isn’t even able to be enjoyed anymore.

Distractions :(. I loved the app before it updated. I have epilepsy and recently had a seizure. This game was so calming and nonstimulating (things popping up on the screen). I used it to calm down. The ads started at the bottom. I paid to have that taken away. It was too stimulating. I wanted just a plain screen where I could relax. Now there’s a hint button that keeps popping up in random parts of the screen. I wish I could turn it off. I’ll be looking for another app that hopefully is more relaxing and less stimulating. I know it seems little, but it’s big for me. Also, I hate that now, you can’t see your words once you guess correctly. I always like showing my friends if we are playing together how I got to my word.

Good app. Constantly improving.. FEB 25th UPDATE - They released a new version with overly obtrusive hint nudges. Take them away please! They’re incredibly distracting. I almost always close the app when I see one. They recently made a big update, which I appreciate, but I don’t find many of the features useful (not clear what the leaderboard is for as my score is stuck at 0 no matter what I do, the daily challenge isn’t the same for everyone so it’s kind of silly). The words are also occasionally proper nouns or British spellings - please get rid of this! I’d also recommend allowing me to see the puzzle after I’m done (a modal popup covers it) and adding the ability for me to share the puzzle results with a friend. It’d also be cool to see more stats like how many puzzles I’ve failed, more detailed about my average, etc.

It was better before. This game was much better before. It was simplistic, fun, and a good way to kill time. Compared to the normal Wordle, it’s fun to be able to play more than one a day. That was until the update. The update is unplayable. You have to watch ads, the design is horrible, and they have HINTS? The whole point of the game is to be able to figure out the word by making words and using that to get the correct answers, not to use to cheat with hints. I don’t understand why apps have to go this far to make stupid updates like this, when the design was fine already. I already deleted the app, but others, be warned.

Went from GREAT to JUNKY. This was a great, simple free to play Wordle alternative that allowed unlimited play and practice without ads. It had great word lists, instant loading and smooth gameplay. Since the update it will no longer load, the interface looks clunky and gameplay when you can get it to load is so slow. After the initial first week, you are served game crashing ads after every puzzle and a really great game that I might have paid a few bucks for is now so bloated that I can’t even click the button to purchase the ad free version. I will try one more time but then I am moving on and looking for other ways to sharpen my skills so that I can master the real WORDLE.

So many advertisements. I’ve been playing and enjoying this game for about a month. Then yesterday there was an update, so many advertisements, and now the game has been ruined for me. There are now so many advertisements, much smaller playing screen, so many advertisements, fonts changed, and so many advertisements. Sure I could pay to get rid of them, but it had been free, the cost seemed high and feels like extortion, we’ll hook you in make your enjoy the game, and then they say ”you want to enjoy the game again, pay us money or we’ll ruin it by loud obnoxious advertisements that take longer than actual game play”. Did I mention there are now so many advertisements!!!!!!

Horrible adds. So I’m almost a teen and even I know when something’s is really inappropriate. I like the game but it updates so often that I don’t actually get to play it that often. I like the challenge but it kind of confusing since it doesn’t give you any instructions to begin with. Back to the add, it was extremely inappropriate because it had a really bad word in it.(if you want to know how bad the word is wait until the very end) so I get the add and I am thinking what kind of app lets kids see this!? It’s just irresponsible to let an add like that be for an app for teens. (The word was probably worse than 3 really bad words combined)

Another Update? You Keep Ruining It!. Paid to get rid of ads. That should have included the ability to turn that blinking annoying hint button OFF as well. And when you’re done with a round you get presented with a results screen and no way to go back and look at the word or what you did. You had a better game than Wordle and you ruined it. Look at all of these reviews, are you even listening? You have a huge audience and you’re going to lose all of them. Wordus is not the only Wordle alternative app out there. I’ve leeway downloaded a bunch that I’m trying out. You need to make some changes and make them fast, if you’re charging money and making ad revenue you need to listen to the customers that are paying you that money. Worst updates I have ever seen in all these years of iOS apps. Why on earth would you take the best app in the store and just ruin it?

Update ruined the game.. Used to love the game for its simplicity. Great to play. The update adds nothing but annoying features and a ton of ads all the time. The ads are completely in your face and obnoxious. It’s like the developers decided to make the ads as unbearable as possible to force you to pay for the ad free version.

!! DON'T IN APP PURCHASE!! Horrible customer service and game is setup to scam you!!. Do not do in app purchases on this game. The game has the buttons to use hints very close to the enter button. No confirmation is given asking if you want to use your gems for the hint. I tried to contact support to ask them to fix this but have not received any replies. I'm sure they won't return any money. I'm posting this review and then contacting apple to complain about them.

It’s ok. The part that I find troubling is that it takes a while just to load on and there are lots of adds even in the middle of a round.

Terrible ads!. Love playing this game. There are some funky words though. One I just came across is “Ebook” which is a hyphenated word so it shouldn’t be in the game. There was one word that I didn’t recognize so I looked it up and it was a British word. I’ve also played one or two actual words that Wordus didn’t recognize. I really didn’t care for the last color scheme - I just updated the app again today and everything looks completely different. The colors are not as drab but it feels crowded. Hate the light bulb clue thing. And worst of all, it now has very long and obtrusive ads butting right into the game. I may be deleting soon

Love it except…. I have been playing wordle with my family and we make it a competition who can get the world of the day in the least amount of tries. So I downloaded this. I love it! ❤️❤️❤️ the only problem is sometimes the words are really difficult to get. I was playing and I got the word knoll! I have never heard of that word and I would not have guessed it! Mildly disappointed. So for starters I have 350 games played. I love playing wordle. But there’s one issue I have with this app. The stats aren’t the same, you used to be able to see how many wordles you’ve completed and in how many tries it took you. For example it would tell you how many wordles you finished in 5 guesses, etc. I guess I’m just writing this so the developers see this because frankly I wanna brag about my wins to my friends. Return to roots - remove the store. I’ve been playing Wordus since they started. The app has frequent updates. Some have been good. Others bad. The most recent update fixes most of the problems and junk introduced by prior versions. Thanks for bringing the stats back post game. My only remaining gripe is the store and ruby concept. It distracts from the game. Other than that the game is great and I have and will continue to highly recommend it.

Please restore the ability to see the number of solutions at each level. It was previously possible to view the number of solutions in 1 try, the number in 2 tries, etc. Please restore this feature. Not really it. When I first downloaded this app, it was really simple with no ads or leaderboard. It just told you what your word guess average was and how many times you have played. But now with this updated version, woah. It’s now like those games that get a ton of ads every round and have you pay to get them off. I’m not sure what happened but I think a lot of people were downloading this and the creator wanted a profit. It’s okay I guess but it was better for me, before :/

Frustrating. This game is fun, but very frustrating if you pay for it. It constantly bugs you to take a hint. I don’t want to take a hint; I paid for the app so I don’t have to be bothered by dumb ads and free hints, but it is constantly trying to get you to take a hint. Get rid of this feature! Also, there’s no way to track your progress against friends or others. Even further, it claims to tell you your “average” guess, but in actuality it’s the column with the most guesses, not the actual average. They have a lot of kinks to work out with this app.

poor customer support. there is no way to contact them.. i ended up finding their website, but even the “contact” button just reloads the home page. the app should have some sort of contact option. anyways, i was going to reach out and explain that on one of the levels, the answer was “KINDA” and yet when i attempted that, it told me it wasn’t a word. I have a screenshot of this. Please update this so that KINDA is allowed as a word if it is going to be an answer.

Used To Be ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. A few weeks ago I would have given this five stars without a second thought, but the change to an ad-based format has caused this game to become unplayable for me. If it had always been this way it might have been different but the timing of this update is super sus to me. Almost as though there was a viral, almost identical web-based game owned by the NYT out there that the developers felt like they needed to cash in on. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but I’ll be deleting this app.

Good, with a few annoyances. The game is solid, fun, verging on addictive. The free version forces an ad on you after every single game, so I quickly opted to pay $3.99 to get rid of the ads. But now they insist on showing you an annoying little “hint” icon, which turns out to be just another ad in disguise. I shouldn’t have to put up with that after paying for the supposedly ad-free version. Please make the stupid ad-disguised-as-a-hint go away.

No longer fun to play. I loved this game when I downloaded it a month ago! It’s just like Wordle but you can play as many times as you want throughout the day. I just did the latest update and it is no longer playable. Ads were put in at the end of each game and it takes longer for the ads to expire than actually playing the game. Great game, but I hate the changes. Hi, I LOVED this game. I played it non stop. But then there was an update, and this game became more… game like and kiddish. Update Ruined It. I greatly enjoyed playing this game when I first downloaded it. The recent update has completely ruined it. All of the things that other reviewers mentioned are the things that bother me as well. It’s no longer a simple, clean app. The ads are unbelievably annoying, and the area on your screen for play has been greatly reduced. I’m not interested in leaderboard or seeing results from ppl I don’t know or sharing my results. All I want to do is play. I’m very disappointed as this was great fun. Once I saw what they did to the app, I immediately deleted it from my phone.

Game Was Great Till Recent Update. Prior to this new update, this game was so much fun to play. It helped you practice for wordle, had no ads, and even more importantly had a very small amount of pop ups. This new update comes with a new look that just makes it more cluttered. It also has an ad at the bottom of the screen. And, after each round you get another 30 second ad. I understand ads are important to keep the lights on. But they had a simple and amazing app that was ruined by people trying to make a massive profit. Uninstalled it after one level with how many pop ups appear in a game.

Update ruined the game!. I was addicted to this game. It such a simple yet fun concept. Guess the word using random letters. The game board had decent sized letters and it was easy to navigate. It also had NO ADS. Post update,it’s just like every other cheesy game out there. Yes the concept is still the same, but the game board has changed completely , with a tacky unflattering look to it. The buttons/letters don’t work sometimes…it’s like it doesn’t register that you are tapping on a letter. On top of that, there are now ads. Such a disappointment. This was one of the good ones.

Very shady game. This app is somehow able to alter my auto lock settings on my iPhone for my screen and basically set it to never sleep/lock. I ended up setting my phone aside and somehow ended up with the game still inactive, but on screen. 5 hours later, it was still on screen with my device on the verge of death. What concerns me is, how can this game override my device settings? This game is also an ad money generation machine with un-skippable, very lengthy full screen ads that discourage gameplay. I am extremely disappointed and will be removing your app as well as contacting Apple’s App Store team about security my concerns.

new update is horrible. ok i've been playing wordus for a few months now and it was FANTASTIC, loved the fact that there was no ads and loved the layout. but this new update has RUINED the game. y'all had something great going on and then you changed it to look like other games, most games, which are the kind of games you see in annoying ads. also, what is with the ads? if you didn't need them before, why add them now? so you can afford to make the app look ugly and have special features that we didn't even want? i really enjoyed the old wordus. please put it back.

Some issues. The overall high rating goes towards the refreshing lack of ads. I would give it the full five but some of the word choices are suspect. Some were proper names with other meanings. Some were archaic words, but all of them have been in the scrabble dictionary. I recently got the word JELLO. A proper noun with no secondary meaning and not in any dictionary. Brand names shouldn’t be allowed. Overall a good app with issues.

Could you make it to where I can watch videos to get the diamonds instead of blowing moola ??? Cause I looked and there’s only one option for videos. Ads are annoying. I like this game because it was simple. It plays just like Wordle but with unlimited game play. I updated the app today and it definitely got a visual upgrade which I like. What I don’t like now are all the ads I have to deal with. I enjoyed this game because of its simplicity and the fact that it was ad-free. If it had stayed the way it was, I could have given it a 5 star rating, but with all of the annoying ads that I’d have to pay $3.99 to get rid of, I can’t do it.

This game transcends all bounds of the human construct. Wordus is something else. Something other worldly. It is not a normal creation of man, rather that of a divine being. Wordus transcends space and time, life and death, class. Wordus is made for everyone… all people. It is a beautiful thing everyone deserves to play Wordus at least once and their life and that it should be distributed to all man, woman, and child. Off all backgrounds and religions. Wordus for one, Wordus for all.

Good but some words are questionable. So far I’m 100% completion through 78 words, but some of them have been questionable. I had “levin,” an archaic word for “lightning” and “fiche,” short for “microfiche.” I get that it’s supposed to be a puzzle, but some of these words seem like absolute stretches. I can’t remember what the word was, but I’ve had some that don’t even have an actual definition when it’s takes me to the dictionary. I’ll keep playing and see how long I can make this perfect streak going.

Nah nag nag. You copy a wildly popular game, put it in the space where you've had something else for 4+ years that never garnered a single review, and I'm happy to download it before Apple catches on and removes it. Then you nag me after every time I play the game to rate the game, which I get... It's how you went from 7200 ratings this morning to 8400 this evening. But when I get nagged after every turn to leave a rating, it's going to be a one star every time. Then when it asks me to leave a review to explain my rating, this is my review. The game is great. Mr. Wardle did a great job with that. You did a great job copying his work, so I guess... Good job?

Add a new statistic. As a recent enjoyer of this game I have all but one request. I sometimes get lost in my streaks of playing and want to know how many I have gotten right in a row. I believe a recent streak and longest streak statistic would be helpful for new players and old players to challenge themselves in an attempt to beat or continue a streak. Love the game and would love to see they develop it in the future :)

Problems with app, developers don’t respond. There is a problem with getting rewards for the daily puzzles and I’ve reached out to developers to report the problem but got no response. One of the things that makes games fun for me is collecting rewards for accomplishments. Unfortunately, there’s a glitch in collecting rewards for milestones in the daily puzzles. You’re supposed to get 30 rubies for completing 3 dailies, 100 on day 10 and 300 at the end of the month. What you actually get is only 10 for each milestone, for a total of 30 for completing the entire month. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!

Unlimited Wordle with NO ADS!!!. Figured I’d try Wordle since several of my friends seem to like it. I enjoyed the first game but wanted to play more puzzles and didn’t realize there was only one per day on the website. Here you get unlimited puzzles and there aren’t any annoying ads like most of my other puzzle apps. Definitely recommend! Only improvement would be making it compatible with device dark mode settings.

Fun! And here’s a tip. I love this game, and I love that I can play as many times as I want instead of once a day like Wordle. But I just downloaded it today and see I have to watch a long ad and then a smaller ad in between every game that I can’t skip… PRO TIP: on iPhone, swipe up til you see all your open apps, and swipe up on Wordus again to close it out and then re open it. It takes like 3 seconds and is WAY shorter than waiting for the ads to finish. Happy solving!

New Update is Terrible. I have had this app for a while and it was wonderful, I saw alot for improvement while using this app to pass some time but now that they have made changes it just feels like every other game. Constants ads that you see way more than the actual game. It gets very annoying and alot has changed with not much to guide from. I wish it they had stuck with the old wordle. I understand the ads but after every puzzle? just ruins it.

Great Game; Needs More Puzzles. While I highly enjoy this game - some may say I’m addicted as I’ve played over 2,000 games in a matter of weeks - I find that the same words come up again and again. There are 158,000+ five letter words in the English dictionary. Why have I played 2,000 times and rarely if ever get a word I haven’t seen before? Otherwise, I’m a big fan…even if they let some people cheat and watch an ad to get a letter.

Great before the ads. This would have been 5 stars a week ago and I still enjoy the game but like many people the update with all the ads has ruined it. And I’m fine with games with ads, but this is over the top. Multiple annoying animated ads pop up between games and you can’t close out of them. Probably more than half the time the app is open, it’s playing ads. I would’ve paid $4 for the game originally but now I’m thinking about deleting the app because of how annoying these ads are.

Great game for expert botanists and nobody else. If you have a masters in Botany, you’ll have a great time. Anyone else is in for some frustrating games. My first guess “queso” wasn’t recognized despite being a common word so I assumed uncommon/non-english words were off the table. Ok, fair, understandable. I stuck to guessing common words instead but got completely stumped with my remaining letters. Well, turns out “Myrrh” (the gum-resin extracted from thorny trees) was the answer. Tried again, got stumped again, answer turned out to be “Betel” (an evergreen vine of Southeast Asia).

A little worse every update. The more attempts are made to monetize the game, the worse it gets. I enjoyed the game a few months ago when there was a setting to turn hints off, but now there are buttons for hints that can’t be turned off. What’s more, if you accidentally tap one of these buttons, there’s no way to back out of the screen if you have enough gems (currency available for purchase) to cover its cost. I’ll be moving on to one of the others in the multitude of Wordle clones that have recently emerged.

Being the original format back. Wordus used to be a really good game, but now they are taking out some of the more import parts of the game. They have started to let you guess 3,4, and 6 letter words along with the regular 5. It makes absolutely no sense to do this especially when 6 allows you to get more letters out than usual. The game has also started to become overwhelming full of ads. There is no reason to change a game so simple, the original games was easily a fan favorite, but now I’m struggling to give ur a two star review. They are just completely over doing a simple game.

Ruined now — WAS fun, until this week’s “update”. And now this game seems to be “sell-out” to some company that revamped it with stupid sounds, bright coloring, unneeded “enhancements,” and adverts… It used to fun to play several times per day. Take a look at the reviews for this game and notice that of the many people reviewed this game prior to this update many were very happy— and were happy because of how it WAS (and for what it was)—- BUT after the update not so much. I will refer back to the original game of WORDLE and play once a day where they don’t have any of that junk. If I can find a way back to the original edition, I’ll keep it, but otherwise I am deleting this junk today!

Beware of Ads!!. This game is great and can hold you over until the next Wordle comes out, but the ads are literally over three minutes long in between games. I decided to play for a few days before determining whether to upgrade to the no ads version for $3.99 or not. I liked it so I told myself I’d upgrade the next time it was pushed to me. Upgraded and guess what, there’s STILL ads and they’re STILL awful. Game is great but I’d pay more to not have to suffer through these terrible ads, so three stars bc their business strategy is torture.

Not enjoying updates. Started this game about a month ago. Then they updated it with ads so I went ahead and paid to not have ads. Now they keep updating it and making it so there are hints if you watch ads. That’s not a problem except the hints pop up on your screen while trying to think and distracts you so you’d rather watch the ad so the hint goes away. It isn’t the game I paid to play. I want an option to make the ad hint to not pop up. That would be much better!

Simple, works, no private data access. I like this app better than others because it requires close to no permissions and doesn’t collect user data (look at others, why do they need your location and track your identity and contacts?) Simple, does the job. An improvement could be having some stats about the previous games (streak, avg guess, frequency analysis ;)

A suggestion. This is an awesome app which has no ads or popups at all! The only thing I would want to be added is themes (dark mode especially) and allow us to change the colors that tell us if the letter is in the word, in the right spot, and if its not in the word! There should also be an option to choose longer or shorter words so it can be more challenging than it already is!

Too many ads. I get it. Apps can’t stay completely free forever and need revenue. But ads that take well over a minute to exit out of between EVERY SINGLE PUZZLE is too much!! This made me want to buy the no ads feature, but it’s $4 which is too much in my opinion. Too much enough so, that will the endless ads and the expensive feature, that I am gonna be uninstalling the app. If you don’t mind spending more time in ads than puzzle play, then download the app.

What’s Wrong With Wordus. I love word games so much and I was thrilled when I found this game!! I e been playing it daily on my phone and IPad! Suddenly I am told my Piggy Bank is full. I wasn’t sure what to do so I clicked on the piggy bank and it shows I need to pay $2.99 to empty the bank!! The piggy bank is full of all that I earned while playing and I have to pay to get what I earned??? Are you kidding me? That’s ridiculous!!!

Was good now bad.. There was a recent update that added a bunch of stuff and now it feels quite cluttered and like it’s trying to be more than it is. I enjoyed the simplicity of the previous version and I’d spend hours on it. I opened it after the update, saw the new look and the new ‘features’ and tHE ADS!! and I deleted the app to find an alternative.

Okay Wordle alternative. It’s an okay Wordle-like game. But if you play enough, it will eventually start throwing weird technical words at you, including some that aren’t even in most dictionaries. And if you click on a bonus accidentally but don’t use it, you lose it anyway. EDIT: Look, I know ads keep apps “free,” but it shouldn’t take you longer to watch the ad than to play the game. If your ads significantly impair the user experience, I don’t think there’s an incentive for anybody to upgrade—they’ll just stop playing.

Ruined with latest update. This was a great little game. No fanfare, no cutesy cartoonish garbage, it was a straightforward challenging word game I could play during the frequent times I don't have access to the internet on my tablet. But wait! New update, look at all these great (gag, cough) ads with not one, not two, but THREE chances to wait to close each part of the ad. For every single round of the game. The game might take you 20 seconds to play, and the ad will take 30. And.... You cannot play at all if you don't have internet. Seriously? I'll be removing it as soon as I finish this very negative review. Too bad zero stars isn't an option.

Closest thing to the original. I got this because, like you, I got addicted to wordle and couldn’t handle just one a day. I will say the words aren’t always very common. Which brings me to my suggestion. It’d be nice if after the word is displayed in a win or lose format that it displays the word along with a definition. At least that way I might grow my vocabulary while I'm at it

Wordus review. Wordus unlike Worlde where you can do as many levels as you want whenever and wherever you want. Wordus makes you think try harder use you’re vocabulary and get you a bigger one because sometimes you can’t always win. The only problem I have with worlds is the amount of hints you get it requires 40 gems which is very hard to get. This game challenges some skills like perseverance, Intelligence, and you’re creativity. I highly recommend getting Wodus.

Updates made it WORSE. It seems like every other day something changed in this game as they had to update to obviously not copy and now to make money. I liked this game because it was simple and able to played quickly. Now today, it looks like a child’s game, has so much extra on the screen that it’s no longer simple or pleasant to look at, and it has ads that it makes you watch between guessing. No thanks, you ruined the game, it was only good because it was so stark and simple and quick! You shouldn’t have changed your game to be like everyone else’s.

Groups?. Make a group social based ranking system off levels or trophies and have like a clan ranking system for top 100 global have like 20 - 50 players per “clan” or “group” I think that would expand the player base a tiny bit and make more competitive players come to the game!! Other than that 10/10 but a lot of ads to be honest and the no ads but thing is kind of expensive

SYNTH - A "real" word?. After putting in variations of a word to identify letter locations, I was denied using a word variation because the game decided that it "wasn't a real word." I accepted this as part of the challenge(and the rules) and tried to make better guesses. On the very next game... SYNTH. Now I ultimately guessed this word, using the SWAG method, but it was not a coherent challenge given that a core axiom of the game is that only "real" words can be used. SYNTH I believe to believe to be a colloquialism specific to the audio industry and not a "real word". Even if colloquially shortened versions of real words are accepted, they should be allowed to be disabled for a better end user experience. Obviously this only one opinion of many, but it is for this reason that I don't see myself enjoying this word game and so I won't keep it on my device. Otherwise, well done on the layout and use-ability of the app.

Uninstalled as soon as the Ads Update hit. I used to play this for hours on end and then they updated it and incorporated a lot of ads that made it almost irritating to even look at… I understand people need to make money off of their apps when they start being successful but this was just excessive… Felt like one of those games that you see on an Instagram ad and play for five seconds and then realize you don’t want to deal with five minutes of ads for two minutes of gameplay.

It’s getting worse. This app started as a straightforward and simple version of Wordle. Over the past few months, none of the changes improve the game. There’s now a ‘leader board’ but you’re lucky if you can even see it (‘starting soon’) or you’re notified of your demotion without ever being able to see your board progress. Recently, they started including plurals which are just infuriating. And how about the most innocuous words they’re now using, like SHAUL, MONGO and QUASS? Time to look for another app. Update: These are answers I’ve run into today: DORTY, SHARN, NIMBI, YUZUS, MUJIK. IOS doesn’t even recognize these as words. Uninstalling this mess.
