Ad purgatory. The game itself isn’t bad, but the amount of ads is utterly absurd. Completed a level? Okay, do you want to watch an ad for a bonus? If you say yes; watch and ad. If you say no, watch an ad anyway. Leveled up? Ad. In my opinion the 8.99 isn’t even worth it for this game, but to each his own. At least there’s a way out for those who want it. My way out is deleting the game.

Riddled w/ Ads & Useless Currency. An apt title, as this game is very fun to play however it is riddled with ads. You must watch an ad after every round regardless of whether or not you want to multiply your coins. And the coins, what a joke. There is no shop to spend your coins at. This game is not worth the annoyances despite being an enjoyable 8 bit version of Tetris.

ads and more. it was alright but the amount is ads isn’t alright they have ads at every level and even in a game every time you level up and sometimes the ads crash your game and what makes it worse is the fact you have hearts, i liked this game for a little but now i’m debating deleting it it’s not even fun anymore

Fun game but it has issues.. I’m not going to lie, this game is fun but I’ve noticed that there’s no sound and there’s random times where the blocks will love on their own.

Dangerous “ads”. Well, the game itself is actually quite fun, and I genuinely think it’s pretty great, not only is the game very heavily, add laden, as others have said, but randomly in the middle of playing at later levels it will pop up Safari browser window with an obvious scam/phishing attempt. This happens with no other software on my phone. I don’t know if this is something intentional done by the developers but it’s such an explicit action I can’t help but think it is. It doesn’t match the piece of normal ads as this interrupts the game in play. And whatever case, all the game may be fun, I cannot turn down this, nor would I pay the nine dollars for a “ad free experience” not knowing if the game would still have those pop up’s. This is absolutely unacceptable.

Ad problem. 60 seconds of ads for every 30 seconds of play time. I watched ten ads before level 5. Ridiculous.

i wanted to like this game. but the ads are too much i had to install a ad blocker/firewall to be able to enjoy the game and even then the only reason why i wanted to play the game was survival and you limit the amount of times a can play (locked until a certain level/ lives) i just wanted a simple sand block game why add levels and objectives but all i want is to see how long a can survive and the objectives arent even creative or fun or challenging

Ridiculous. This game is FLOODED with ads, and to get rid of the ads it’s nearly 10$. 8.99$ is outrageous to pay to eliminate ads. Every round an ad pops up, and there’s always an ad while playing the round and half the time the ad makes the game crash. So after every round I have to restart the game. The game is a neat concept with a poor execution.

Add. There is absolutely no way to play this game offline or without a stupid amount of ads. Midgame survival shouldn’t have ads, neither should I have to watch 1 ad every level. This is stupid and money hungry and it’s a huge disappointment

ads ruin the experience fr. The game is great and all, but the ads just straight up ruin it. In survival mode, you get an ad every time you level up. Whoever came up with that idea needs to get fired because that ruins the flow completely. Sometimes, the ads mess up my game and I am unable to move the blocks causing me to fail.

Not enough diversity. Bought the ad-free game and it’s pretty nice without the ads. I really like the game but after about 150 levels the levels starting to become so repetitive, easy, and short. At least try to make it a bit structured as that would be nice.

I feel like this game hates its players?. Don’t get me wrong, the base game/functionality is fun. But when you install, it won’t let you play Tetris (“survival mode” is locked) so you get stuck playing these levels that have stupid easy win conditions and you can beat in a minute or less. Then, after *every single level* it makes you watch a full-length ad before it takes you to the next level. I got to a point where I was actually really enjoying the gameplay so decided to look into what it would cost to get rid of the ads, and it’s 9 dollars??? Dang, okay. Annoying enough that I uninstalled since most of my in-app time was watching ads and not playing the game.

To many ads. I love the game this the ads that give the rating of two stars after every level is a ads that is waiting for me. please fix your ads problem

Great idea but absolutely infested with ads.. The principle is great. I absolutely love it. However, the ads kill it. You can’t stay in a flow with the game when there are 3 forced full length ads in the middle of a game, especially one where timing can be so critical. They aren’t just 5 second ads either. Some of them (the last straw for me) was an ad where you had to wait 10 seconds, click close, click done in the App Store, wait 5 seconds, click close again, click done in the App Store, wait 5 seconds, then click close again. Then you’re back in the game with bricks flying down with no re-entry timer, no warning, no slow down, nothing. Every single time you open the game, you will see an ad; sometimes before you play, but always at least one by the end of a single round. I would support the game devs if they weren’t drowning the game in ads.

I love the game but. I has too much ads and I think you should add some type of sound like background music or something

Too many ads. Entirely too many ads. As others have stated, the concept is fantastic and the gameplay is fun, but you are forced to watch an ad every two minutes - and putting your phone on airplane mode doesn’t work. You have to be on wifi for the game to run. How else could you watch the ads?

No sound. Im having a good time with the game but there was no sound so I went to the menu and still the sound was not working and my phone is on full volume

Very satisfying but too many ads. I’m going to make this comment short and sweet. I think the game is very satisfying and good to waste time but like every game there has to be an ad ever single level you complete. You can’t even turn off WiFi because they force you to see them. I would buy the no ad pack but making it $8 is totally a scam. I can literally buy a biggie bag and a small chille from wendies. $2 for the no ad bundle would’ve been fair but it’s whatever. I’m probably gonna fade away from this game either way.

Games a rip off. Way to many ads on this game. After playing for 5 minutes I’ve at least watched 10 ads. When investigating how much was the no ad purchase was, developers are offering it for $8.99. Both of these issues kill the game for me. Uninstalled it after 10 minutes of playing it.

Levels reset.. I actually really like this game and it helps to kill time if I’m talking on the phone for a while. However, after 69 levels it went back to the basics of the first couple levels and from 70-78 it was the exact same. No changes to the level at all. I would just like something new to play as I don’t like the survival mode at all personally

Great app if u wanna watch ads. If u play the game for 3 hours, 2 hours is from ads. The game is fun but is the ads in the middle of the survival mode necessary? I would rather do not play the game then watch ads during all the game play through it

So many ads, the audio doesn’t work, and hyou can’t play offline. This game is fun, but the ads are ridiculous. There are pop up ads everywhere on the screen making it distracting and annoying to play with. There are also a lot of issues surrounding the audio which doesn’t work in my case. Lastly, the fact that you can’t play whilst online is insane, and the reason as to why they do that is so you can’t skip out on the massive amount of ads they shove in your face.

Add. Genuinely super fun game but the ads make it nearly unplayable. It’s absolutely sickening the amount of ads you get just to play the game. The survival mode which is like regular Tetris makes you watch an ad every time you level up, that’s horrendous and the developers should be ashamed of themselves for that.

$8.99 to stop ads is insane. This game would be so much fun if it weren’t overly expensive and riddled with obnoxious ads. I would absolutely pay to remove ads for half that price, otherwise it’s not worth it and the ads are between every single level you play. I know they have to make money, it just won’t be from me.

It’s good but annoying at times. There is coins every level that you get rewarded with at the end but you can’t spend them. What’s worse is that they have micro transactions that give you coins but you can’t spend them????? What’s the point of money if it has no value also the ads a really annoying besides that the gameplay is pretty good.

Rip off. It’s $9 for the paid version and you still have to either wait for “lives” or pay for more to keep playing the game that you’ve already payed too much for. Like I’m not even joking when I say I have bought full fledged AAA PC games for less money that the add free version of this game costs. This app is an absolute scam.

Requires internet for a single player game?. To try to combat the million and one ads I tried to turn off my cellular data only for it to tell me it needs internet to play. It’s only single player, why?!?

Good game, but Ads (and survival). More specifically, the game will show you an ad regardless of wether or not you chose to not continue. In addition, the survival mode has a three game charge, before you need to wait 8 minutes, or watch an ad.

Seems like an ok game. I’ve had this game for a few hours and I’m currently on level 4, and probably won’t play much more. The ads are redundant and timed like really long, royal crush over and over again, ads are one thing but, this is a whole new level. What dos the developer of the game think selling that much add time, and royal crush do you honestly think after seeing the same add 20+time I will download your game!?

It’s alright. I like to play this game, but it really makes me mad because after a short while of playing the brakes just come down faster and faster it doesn’t give me any time to actually think about where I want to put it next thing I know they’re all stacked up to the top and I lose and there are way too much ads. I’m trying to play the game, but then an ad would pop up one after another.

If you think you can make a game then make it playable. The pipes don’t change the colours anymore and that makes it unplayable as I can’t make the walls anymore to fulfil the objectives, a month long break is long enough for you and anybody for that matter.

Add grab trash developers. You had a decent game and ruined it with an add every level, even survival. It’s understandable to want to make money off a game that’s been developed but come on. you make it to where for every 30 seconds of game there’s 5 minutes of advertisements all of which are games that do this same garbage. Then do get rid of the adds you wanna charge 9 dollars! And to top it off the idea for this game was stolen from a developer that released his game for free back in 2013.

I don’t remember the last time I wrote a review. But this one deserves it. A guaranteed ad after every single level. AND AN AD IN THE MIDDLE OF INFINITE MODE. And lived that you pay for. And limited played for unlimited mode. Edit: I was considering buying ad-free BUT $8.99 FOR IT?! Edit 2: I was met with an UN-CLOSABLE AD (Merge Blob) had to restart my game. I spent more time playing the unclosable ad than I did the actual game.

Great concept, but way overpriced. The ads are after every game, and to have no ads, it’s 9.00 USD. A lot of potential but WAY to strongly monetized in my opinion. Sad because it’s fun, but I’ll be uninstalling for now.

Way to many adds. There were way too many adds I could barely play the real game you about every 2 lvls it would give you an ad and however the actual game concept is really fun and interesting.

I usually don’t do this. I usually don’t take time to review mobile games but this one found a special place in my heart. With an advertisement after every level it quickly becomes very annoying. You know when its faster to close the game and relaunch the game rather than watch the advertisement there is a problem. I have no problem paying to remove advertisements if it was something reasonable like <$4 but they want $9 to remove advertisements. Like no you’re a mobile game while the game is fun it’s not worth $9 just to remove advertisements . It’s way cheaper and way faster to just close the game and relaunch the game rather than watch the advertisements.

Won’t let me spend the coins I earn outside being mid game. there’s no where I can spend the coins unless you’re mid game. Absolutely stupid, only option outside of being mid-game is to spend irl money for any special items.

Cool Game. Horrible ads. The game is fun when you unlock survival mode which is classic Tetris. But every few minutes you level up and you get an ad. This wouldn’t be so bad but then you realize there are ads that you can’t close and lock you out of playing. 0/5

Too many ads. This game is alright, fun and all, but ads constantly interrupt gameplay. I can understand putting an ad every couple games or in between games, but there are at least 3 ads in each game. Pretty much every time you level up in-game (which happens around 5 times) an ad plays, completely interrupting the game. Also, there’s a stupid 10-minute cooldown in between games. Idiotic.

love it, its just 1 thing. Overall the game is great, though the ads are a bit excessive. Thats not why im here. There are levels where you have to put the sand brick through a colored pipe and it changes it to the color of the pipe. But it doesnt always work?? Im not sure if its a certain way to make the bricks change color but its just aggravating. other than that its a great game!

Really cool idea. The only other tetris spinoff that is equally as cool is Not Tetris 2. Only two stars because I only see myself playing this on the commute home, not at home. The game does not function without an internet connection, making this app kind of useless for me.

Not worth it.. WAY too many ads to be able to enjoy the game, for some reason they limit how many times you can play regular survival mode?? And $9 JUST to remove ads is INSANE. Cool concept, but the execution completely ruins it.

Decently Fun, Inappropriate Ads. Not too hard but entertaining. Frequent Ads. So Frequent. And at the end of round 4 the ad contained an inappropriately dressed woman. Not offensive to me, but 1) totally unnecessary and 2) absolutely would have been inappropriate if my kids were on the game. Deleted.

Ads everywhere. There are ads after every level ads during the survival mode at random points it’s constantly offering ads for more coins and special levels. I downloaded this game to play, not to have to look at other games I’m not interested in.

Ruined it. Really fun game but making it not playable offline made me delete it and if I’m playing like at home there’s adds in new tween sessions. The creators of this game only care about money don’t download!!

Great game like the ads!. This game is a fun game with a amount but reasonable amount of ads that aren’t that common, and it’s actually like the ads on tiktok, ong.

Way to many ads. While in the survival gamemode there’s an ad everytime you level up which is causing the losing of the focus and i lose the game

Too many ads. Game is feeding on the ads and after every level which comes to about every minute or so. You can’t turn off your wifi for it to stop playing it and you must pay 11.99$ CAD to get rid of it. The game doesn’t really have a challenge and the ads should only be when the game is over as like some other reviews have said you lose your concentration after it.
