Liked. Your ads are reason I didn’t download this game they stink. Stopped playing it is boring and not once in all 14 games did I receive any 5 star hero’s according to game it guaranteed you would get at least 1 every 10 summons that is complete lie got only 1 out of 14 only 4 received 1 that is after 100 of summons in each of 14 games it doesn’t provide any of items to up grade your heroes so unless you are a millionaire it is impossible to even upgrade your heroes. Also you still heroes because I know which heroes I had and when I stopped playing to go to sleep when I played game next day several of my good heroes were just gone this happened regularly and they refuse to fix said I had to buy more summons . So they still the good heroes while you sleep trying to force you to buy them back no thanks supposed to be a free game

Great Game, minor complaints. I’ve been playing for about a week now and I’m really enjoying this game! I think the biggest complaint for people is the energy to battle, which in my opinion is just fine. I can play for about an hour straight with the energy provided plus the free daily energy, which is awesome btw! The character design is awesome, the story is fun, overall I’d recommend. The only thing I would fix or add to the game would be the ability to get rid of your extra heroes, perhaps you can break them down into shards that combine into summoning shards, like 10 characters broken down make 1 shard for summoning. I’m also hoping for some more things to do with your Alliance other than wars. Overall great game! It’s very close to 5 stars, would love to see some other things added or implemented to bring my rating up to 5.

Like most of these match 3 games. All of these match games that I’ve played are decent story lines, interesting graphics, slightly different mechanics, but they all seem to have one solitary goal-get you to spend money. Free To Play is always available, but then half of your time is refusing offers to purchase. If you spend enough, you can create some interesting gameplay for a while, but no matter how much you spend you either run into people who are beta testers who have all the newest and most powerful gear or into people who have a whole lot more money to toss at games than you do.

Money Grab & They Don’t Listen. Long time player here. Reducing rating from 5 stars to 1. This game *started out fun*. It didn’t have a large learning curve, heroes and match-3 mechanics were refreshing. But then they started adding more systems. Each progressive update over the last 3 months has been increasingly bad. The developers say “we listen and appreciate your feedback,” but they have consistently shown this is not the case with the updates. The money grabs are INSANE. Each system added on (many of which the player base DID NOT ask for or want) has made Free-2-Play impossible. The gap between people who pay and those who don’t is the worst I have ever experienced in my 15 years of gaming. Truly, the saddest thing about all of this is that they repeatedly stab the player base in the back with unnecessary add-on systems that reward the biggest spenders. They have lost their creativity and all credibility to me. Many players (both spenders and non-spenders) are leaving the game, especially after the last update fiasco. FIND ANOTHER GAME where the developers truly care about what you have to say. In this game they say they care, but their actions do not align with it. Just take one look at their Discord (update feedback chat room) and you’ll see how bad it truly is.

Fun but…. It’s a very fun game and I play it daily. I like the aspect that you do t need to spend money on it if you don’t want to. I do wish higher tier characters dropped at a faster rate, but the thing I would change more than anything is the battle pass. The battle pass should be like other games that have a battle pass. You buy it and as you play, you have the opportunity to earn in game credits so if you complete the battle pass, you’ll have enough to get the next battle pass when it starts, rather than having to drop $10 every month if you want all the goodies. If they can’t do that, then maybe discount the battle pass if you’ve completed it. Other than that, it’s fun.

Unbalanced, cheaters paradise, super low character draw chances. I have been playing this game for about 6 months. It is one the most frustrating games I have experienced. I have spent over $100 summoning and upgrading my characters. Yet, I am constantly beat by teams 9 to 10 levels lower than me. They are either cheating, which the admins constantly boot, or the game is super unbalanced. Character draws are a joke! If you think you are going to draw that 5 star “special” character you are badly mistaken. They just put it up there to get money. Guaranteed 5 star on 85 chances. Have you seen how much it costs for 85 chances? Then when you finally get a 5 star draw, you may be disappointed that you already have it! Why give me the same freaking draw when I am not even close to having all the characters! The game has great graphics, and it is quick to play. That is the good parts. I CANNOT WARN YOU ENOUGH! THIS GAME IS GOING TO TAKE YOUR MONEY AND YOU STILL WILL NOT EVEN COME CLOSE TO GETTING THE CHARACTERS YOU WANT OR WINNING! BUYER BEWARE! Play Gems of War, at least if you spend money you will get regular Mythic cards😅

Great but…. I love the game, but my only complaint is for when you summon heroes, why is it that it’s possible to summon the heroes you already have gotten in the beginning? For example, twice today I summoned Floki, when I didn’t even think it was possible to summon him. I’m not saying go to a new hero every time, but maybe exclude the ones you get in the beginning? Especially since you don’t get any bonus coins for them and it charges you the bonus coins if you summon them. Please reply if you get this, I’m really curious on at least why that is. Sorry and thanks.

Fun but dragged down by the usual energy mechanics. Very fun match 3 game with great art and an interesting enough storyline. Like others have said it suffers for the fact that it uses the usual energy mechanic to entice players into spending money. I’d be more interested in spending money if I could play the game for more than 10 to 15 minutes at a time with hours of waiting in between. With all of the microtransactions already available in the game it seems self defeating to limit energy and active play time just to make a little more. There’s a battle pass that starts at 9.99 with a premium version as well, and plenty of different bundles for currencies and summons so the energy mechanics on top of it makes me lean away from spending anything at all. I mentioned in the survey that it also seems odd to extend play time through energy when I’ve already hit a difficulty/power barrier 3 stages in. That feels completely appropriate as a slowdown so adding energy on top of it feels like too much. I’d love to see a change to energy recovery at some point, it would be a pretty substantial improvement in my opinion.

Great game. I’m a little late to the party but I’m enjoying this Match 3 RPG. Coming from E&P I can honestly say this game is doing it right. Rewards are nice, and unlike E&P you can progress without feel like its P2W. I don’t mind supporting a good game but if you can’t afford too, this game is totally playable without spending a dime. There is plenty of things to do and unique heroes to collect to create good synergy teams. Graphics and animation style are also top notch. I rarely play any game with sound but it seems like the developers didn’t skimp there either.

Great potential, little progress. First, if you’re considering the game based on ads, understand the ads may represent some spirit of the game, but are not a literal representation. That said, it’s a great looking game, it’s fun, the voiceover work and sounds are excellent, and it’s not ridiculously difficult to get new characters. The problem is, it’s very heavily gated. Like, the gates have gates. First is the energy system. Not super unusual, but it does limit your playtime. Next, and much more problematic is the stranglehold on exp. It’s hard enough leveling up one whole team, good luck trying to switch out characters for strategy or if you acquire someone new. Then you have to upgrade weapons. Again, not super unusual, but getting the materials for that takes even more grinding. I get it, the game is new, it doesn’t have 300 levels like some other, more established games. It’s important that you don’t run out of things to do in like, 2 days. However, for me, I feel the progression is a little over restricted.

Can’t get matches, it’s bad enough that I dread playing. I really enjoyed this game at first, I got cool heroes and have continued to get fun hero’s to play. However, the last few matches it seems like it’s much much harder to get matches. I just lost 4 matches in a row to the same area hero who’s power level was 6000 lower than mine. It feels like this kind of think keeps happening any time I do pvp battles and tower fights. The game won’t give me any matches and I keep losing despite my power level being higher the majority of the time. It’s bad enough that I dread doing any pvp events, tower events, and the ruin events with 9 stages. The only thing I enjoy anymore is the titan battles. And that is not nearly enough fun to justify the time and money I have put into this game. It was first the beginning, but every day for the past month playing this game has put me in a bad mood and I don’t enjoy it anymore. So I will be deleting the game. Make matches easier to get based on the heroes in your team and it would be better

A game made by gamers?. I don’t know who these people are but the level of detail and thoroughness of this game in this particular genre takes me back to the the days of the original Puzzle Quests 1 & 2 when developers cared about the story as much as the gameplay and the depth of the story drove you deeper and deeper into the game itself, which leads me to believe that these folks are actual gamers who know and remember what games were, are, and should be. Thanks so much to whoever you all are because gems like these are becoming as rare as a legendary hero pull these days, so kudos folks you’ve earned my dime.

Good game but summoning is awful. The game is incredibly addictive and it doesn’t feel too rushed or slow, good game progress pace, but the hero summoning is just plain underwhelming at times. You’ll complete a chapter and get 5 tears of ancestors, legendary item, then proceed to get 5 common two star heroes that are literally useless. I haven’t been playing for very long, but the one time I spent 1980 gems on summoning, which I worked for about 5 days for, I received 1 4 star hero, 3 3 star heroes, and 4 common heroes. when you work so long for something in a game you should be rewarded more heavily. Even if it’s the same 4 star hero ant least you could awaken them. I’ve heard the same voice line of “it’s the same day over and over again” about a 1000 times and I’m starting to think maybe they’re right. either way I still love the game it’s very fun and engaging but it’s not rewarding in the correct way.

Awesome game that doesn’t want you to play it.. This game is actually pretty good. The combat with the matching works great and the characters are cool. The only problem is the same as every other game on mobile. STAMINA. This basically limits you to playing a demo version of the game at all times. 10 stamina a mission, each mission lasts 1-5 minutes and a max of 36 stamina means you have about 15mins of gameplay before you can’t do anything and need to close it, unless of course you want to spend real money. Pathetic. I will probably play this for a few more days before forgetting about it forever because of stamina limits. My commute is about 30mins, so if the game can’t even last me through that, why bother?

Sadly, I didn’t get far in.. I *must* be able to play background music/YouTube Premium while I’m playing, or it is an incredible waste of my breaks. Disappointing, but *many* of my silly little games I play to wile away a few relaxing minutes while I listen to something interesting *can do this*. IOS xr, turned off games’ sound, and games’ music, but the sound I’ve selected in the background still turns off once CoA becomes main screen. I’ve tried swiping down from the top of the screen while playing the game itself to get the ‘little control panel’ for background content up, pressing play, but as soon as I exit the menu back to the game, the background content stops playing. The game itself is pretty and well built, and I skip through the story but enjoy the character designs. I’d be delighted to continue, but I can’t tolerate not listening to my own content while I play any game. Not the same song, or even a series of songs, that I must listen to. Or silence.

Don’t recommend playing. the art and the graphics are good, they will make you addict into this game for the first several days or maybe a week. However, it has too many drawbacks. 1) low 5 star drop rate &unbalance: good heroes are too hard to get & big difference between OP heroes and normal heroes. 2)P2W: you easily get stuck on chapter, on hero ascension as well. hard to progress besides spend real money. 3) time-consuming: can’t skip battles and auto is not ideal for challenging dungeons. 4)trash rewards: all the free rewards are TRASH, takes a while to complete daily tasks but final rewards are so useless because everything in the market (shop) are so costly to exchange. I spent a few hundred bucks in the first 3 or 4 days then I stopped, I’m just logging in for 30 mins everyday to clear some quests but the rewards are very demotivated. Nothing to do when you are stuck. Sometimes, I even wonder why’d I waste that 30mins in my life lol. In sum, don’t recommend to download this game. Don’t waste your time

New Favorite. I’ve been playing this game for a few months and I just love it. The gameplay is beautiful, bugs are practically nonexistent, I enjoy the quest story aspect, and there’s so much to do, it’s tempting to play for hours at a time. Plus there’s dragons so I mean, what’s not to love? You can get pretty far into it without paying any money, and really if you’re patient you don’t have to spend anything. I do buy things occasionally but I think it’s worth it for such a high-quality game.

Another typical match 3. I downloaded the game because I got an add on instagram and the graphics and the game play looked awesome, but when I started playing I realized that the game play is nothing like what they offer in the add. They offer you a player who moves in the third person until you reach the objects and there you make the match but it's not like that at all. and it annoys me a lot because game developers always try to scam people by offering a game that isn't. This game is just a match 3 game with nice colors and graphics but the player doesn't move in third person and doesn't even reach the objects. you have a screen with the objects like the typical match 3 game. Don't be fooled by the pretty adds. All they do is fool people. I am too disappointed. It's a waste of graphics for a simple match 3 game.

Pay to win after about six hours. When your characters reach level 90, which takes about six hours, the game becomes an unbearable grind of you don’t pay for things. The bait and switch was abrupt. You literally need to beat level twelve monsters to get the things you need to advance beyond level 90, but you can kill level 12 monster until you are level 100. The result is to buy the tokens you need or to grind lower levels hoping you get an extremely rare drop. Also, you are limited to 5-8 battles a day if you do not pay, so it takes weeks to get enough battles in to grind. Not worth the time and effort. Also, everyday there are about 15-30 worth of free pvp stuff, but that is okay to win because you constantly run into people who have clearly purchased the characters that are currently beating you to a pulp.

Great Growth Potential. I love this game! But there are some improvements that it could use would be better communication opportunities. Make private messaging possible, let players have email capability with other players. Make text larger for sight-impaired and senior Citizens. Make it possible for players to give gifts to each other. Make more diverse ways to get materials for leveling and make it impossible to summons the same heroes more than twice, and make it easier to get 4 & 5 star heroes. For all missions and alliance war, please make it choose challenger heroes more even. But I love that game is match-3 and the graphics are fabulous. I love the story line and I love the players I have met. Please allow private messaging between players. Thanks for listening! I do recommend this game for teens and up.

Fun, and keeps you coming back for more!!. This is a great game with lots to do. Follow the story (or don’t), do the campaign, challenge others in battle, join an alliance, go on treasure quests, try to get a perfect score in every level, upgrade heroes, collect weapons…this game has it all!! The match 3 model is fun too! There are a lot of different kinds of currency, items, factions, etc. which gets a bit confusing but it’s fine. I also don’t quite understand how upgrading and equipping weapons works but the game is really intuitive and clearly indicates if there’s an action you can take to upgrade a hero or a weapon. Also I wish you could “dismantle” unwanted heroes because I have so many that I never use and I’ll never get enough coins and XP to upgrade and ascend them all. Some people complain about the “energy” model of the game. Personally, I’ve never been hindered by running out of energy and can always play as much as I want in a session. For me that’s typically 20-30 minutes or so. If you want to play for hours at a time for free, that will probably be an issue for you. I’ve not yet spent a penny but am planning to buy something eventually to support the developers of this great game!

Don’t waste your time or money. This game is very beautiful and fun at low levels, but as you progress it becomes oppressive. To get the resources you need to keep playing at a high level you have to dish out A LOT of money. There are also game mechanics that are completely broken. And whales that spend $1,000s of dollars are allowed to just crush everyone else to get the best rewards so you can’t ever really progress. This game has so much potential but the first priority of the devs is to squeeze money out of its player base, not to make a really enjoyable game experience. Side note: I read a bunch of those 5 star reviews. Pretty sure those are not real people as they all read like an advertisement and not words real people use. Don’t believe me? Check out the game’s discord. There is almost no positive community feedback and the devs don’t respond to any feedback.

Fun but too expensive for too little. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of months and I enjoy the play time and the diversity and the strategy a lot. They do hit you with lots of ways to spend money and I would love to support the developers but I don’t see that you get very much without spending a ton of money to get there. I just spent $20. I can’t say it advanced me very much at all. They have offers for $2.99 and $4.99 etc. but again, I don’t see that what you get does very much for you that you can’t get in a day or two of playing. Even the $99 option doesn’t seem to be worth the price at all. It seems to me that they are depending on a few large spenders instead of getting lots of smaller ones, thereby encouraging more competition. I’m exploring other games now, I’ve tried and deleted a few, because I don’t feel like I can advance very far on this one. The developers should consider switching so a $2.99 purchase does bring you something meaningful to the gameplay. I’m sure I’m not alone in feeling this way.

Not your mother’s candy crush. I downloaded this from an ad on a gacha game. I was NOT disappointed like usual with advertised games. This one gives you plenty of other ways to obtain items that doesn’t require you to spend money to be able to play and enjoy. The battle system is very unique and works well. I never knew combining match and rpg would be so addictive. I have this on my rotation of AFK games I play daily now. You won’t regret it if you love strategy games and summoning heroes. Good job devs!!!

Eh. The game should be called Call of Bugs. Although the game has great graphics and a fun mechanic, it literally has bugs every time they release an update. Every single time. If you don’t mind bugs disrupting your ability to play regularly then it’s a great game, but if you get annoyed by stupid errors that make you wait, find a different game. The graphics are great, though there seems to be an increasing number of sexualized female characters that do not have an appearance that matches their story. The game itself is very fun and addictive, pay walls will make free to play players get frustrated after they start getting good 4 star heroes. Getting 5 star heroes and awakening them either takes a huge amount of time, or you pay.

Where’s the diversity?. This game is good all around including the art style and fun of the game itself. I would enjoy it even more if the characters were just a little bit less Eurocentric. Maybe i’m a crazy “social justice warrior” for this but even if the characters have good design and draw the eye, they are all as bland as a pack of crackers due to the fact that they are all white. Even then, i have been playing for two days and I have two characters that I know for a fact would not be white, including Aladin and Aahoo. Aladin is obviously based off of the disney character “Aladdin” who is based off a middle eastern or Chinese man. Aahoo is simply a mockery of native american dress, complete with a braid and a wolf. Aahoo gives me the impression of a white girl dressing up on halloween as a native american with her dog as her “spirit animal”. All I ask is that all the “good” characters would not be perfectly pale and blonde.

Definitely a fav. Love this game so far! Saw an ad for it, knowing I like the match 3 puzzle type rpgs, decided to try and do not regret it! Very addicting and a favorite app for me. Enjoy the story and pretty much everything about it! Just a few nit-picky things that aren’t necessary to change but would be great to consider. I agree with other reviewers about the energy running out quick but as a person who spends way too much time on the iPad it is best that I give it a break for a bit. At least it doesn’t seem too difficult to regain exp, gold, and stone. I’ve already upgraded multiple heroes in the past few days and I have at least 30 total. Though part of me would like it if you could exchange unwanted heroes for possible ascension materials or get gold and exp potions back. Much like you can already do with the weapons at the blacksmith. I see why the game is how it is though! Each character is unique and has a special story to them so collecting them to see that is cool. The only reason I want that changed is because I want to keep my hero list more organized and I’d hate to just have unused heroes sitting there. But overall a fantastic game and I hope to play more!

Super fun, even for free play. I am not someone who spends money on app games. That said most games become pretty unplayable just weeks into playing because the separation of power between people throwing money at the game and people not spending is too great. Of course that is present in this game as well, but the game designers did a REALLY good job of making the gameplay fun even if you are not getting all the top hero’s or materials to max them out in free play. The puzzle strategy is fun. Because the puzzle is tied to the hero’s and abilities, there are lots of combinations to keep things interesting. And even as a free play you can get lucky and get a few decent heroes which gives you enough to stay at least a little bit competitive. The character design is fantastic. The interface is easy to understand and not over crowded like a lot of other games. It’s simple but it’s complex enough to keep me interested several months into playing the game. I like it so much I put it on my work phone just to see if I get different/better hero’s and play both accounts.

Very Addicting. Every aspect of this game lures you back daily, and keeps you around with plenty of interesting storyline gameplay and events. Join an alliance and make friends as you battle other alliances with your most powerful team on a battlefield that challenges your strategic skills. There are daily login bonuses and optional in-game purchases you can make, but they are not mandatory to be competitive and advance in the game. The game is put together very well, with colorful graphics and beautiful characters, each with unique background stories. I would like to see an option to try out team arrangements on other players' teams before committing to a battle, and the ability to see what heroes your alliance members have in their inventory in order to help them strategize their teams. This would help alliances find their full potential and also give everyone something to discuss. Another idea would be to have an enemy boss (maybe a dragon,) that allows your alliance to cooperatively battle daily for team rewards. Helping your alliance by seeing what heroes they have would definitely come in handy on something like that as well. Overall, it is a fun game that doesn't force you to be glued to your device, spend a ton of money, and allows you to play in your own time. I will be recommending CoA to several friends.

Success is Determined by $. The past 4 updates have taken a pseudo decent game and turned into a pay to play haven. Meaning unless you are willing to spend upwards of $100 a month, you will have zero chance in not only passing regular campaign levels, but also in pvp. The summoning is, to say the last, sorely lacking…getting the summoning stones are few and far between and when you are finally able to do a full 10 summon, you are loaded down with 2 and 3 star units. To work with even the lower tier units, you have to have a load of resources to first off level them up, then a decent amount of resources to level their weapon, and then even more resources to build their ‘skill tree’. Even completing the list of dailies, bosses and treasure side quests does not even come close to acquiring said resources to be able to compete against the big spenders in the arena…which is wildly unbalanced. If you do purchase the monthly game pass, the most recent update made the level rewards pretty much garbage considering its $20 for the basic one.

Amazing.. Even on the first day that I started playing this I just got addicted and I have to say, this game is so far great. It has so many things to do. You can battle, you can summon characters, you can do all kinds of stuff. It took me a while to actually get the game because I thought it was going to be a scam game but, it turns out it was Even better. I’ve seen a few ads for this game and they are a little cringe (no offence) but over all this game is great! I’m happy that in the ads they gave us some codes that we could put in. (This is a short review because I’m too lazy to do the rest)

Dying game. Let me save you the trouble this game has entered its dying phase. New updates have locked anyone not paying loads on in app purchases from being competitive at all in events which have terrible rewards outside the top 10. They have also started spamming limited time offers constantly where they were far less frequent before. Starting now will be next to impossible after the dune update because decent runes are nearly impossible to earn and even spending money is not likely to get you the best runes that top spenders got when the rune system changed and converted their runes. Devs are only interested in pushing new content that basically forces you to spend and ignore other request like simple ease of use requests. They had to cram servers together just to keep alliances functional meaning you now have to compete with people playing significantly longer than you in every event. Look for a newer game as this one is hemorrhaging it’s player base

A P2W Player’s Dream. I’ve played this game daily and found that the secret to be successful is simple - spend lots of cash! This way I collect all of the five-star heroes and quickly advance them to high levels. Whaaaat? You mean you don’t wish to spend much money playing Antia? Well, good luck,then! The five-star heroes are very difficult draws, on an F2P basis perhaps one-per-month. And the common two and three-star heroes just can’t perform against their premium counterparts. And once you finally receive a mythic-hero you want to quickly level it, right? Well, that’s easy as well, just be sure to purchase lots of extra energy. Because you see, well, otherwise you are limited in the number of battles you can perform. Limited grinding = limited advancement. So no, I am not a fan of this game. I played it daily for six months waiting to advance enough for it to become enjoyable. I never got there; I’ve since deleted it. For a fun Match-3 battle game that can be played with limited or no cash purchases, I recommend Gems of War.

Fun! Could be addicting. I realized I have been playing this game over a year and I still enjoy it. There is a lot of content and I still find new things after all this time. It uses energy to play the main campaign but there are SO many other events to play without spending energy that I always have something I can do. I enjoy this style of game, they make updates for it frequently and put efforts into it. If you get addicted to games I can see how this could be formatted in an addictive manner, but I dont have that issue.

Could be amazing, greed ruins it. This game has a ton of potential. It’s very fun, better than the game it basically clones in empires and puzzles. But…man these folks are all about the money. When you level up or buy energy recharges, you get half of your energy at level 20. Levels take a tenth of your energy, with 4 per stage of 10 taking double that. I’m on a server that was apparently new, was able to stay in the top 5 arena rankings while spending less than 200, but after a few days the big spenders came in and shot up the leaderboards. If you want to level more than one character a week, gotta spend. Want gold? Better spend or save for weeks. Want good weapons? Break out the visa. If you want your 5 star heroes maxed out you need a second job. If you pay enough, you’ll eventually get the unbeatable pvp teams that can’t even be hurt. Other than the cash grabbing, the game is really fun. But when a lot of the rewards come from pvp without a proper tier system when it is slanted heavily towards the spenders it drags it down a bit.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. I started out loving this game. It is so much fun, at first. Once you get involved enough to be a serious and invested player is when you see how much this game lacks. The developers do not listen to the community when it comes to resolving issues. They do listen to what the community likes, even uses polls to decide what everyone likes, then makes changes to the opposite of the community feedback. The Naya stones (tiles) are not even close to random. The game promotes one element teams, then tailors the board to give you none of those required colors. This cheating tactic is intentional as confirmed in the Discord channel. Play if you want, but expect disappointment once you have invested time and possibly money. Another gacha game with a greedy team.

The game cheats. They started with a 20 lucky clovers to a guaranteed character weapon of your choice, seems reasonable, that is until you get within a couple clovers. They’ve now changed it to within 70 clovers that’s all well and good for your second weapon or if you started the game with such a hurtle, but to change it just before you can reach the goal is a cheaters move. There’s also an occasional “chance” spin to try for the stars to get a choice of weapon and while it seems your number of free spins is random you’ll get a high number on the first day, but subsequent days are significantly lower repeatedly, which means it’s programmed to not be purely chance. Then there’s all the complaints that the game characters don’t follow the same rules as player’s characters.

Impressive. I changed my review from “it’s ok” to impressive for two reasons. First, I noted that there is a developer response on most comments. Although it states the same thing, the fact the developers take the time to provide any feedback to these comments is pretty incredible. Second is that as I play the game, the story line impresses me. It appears the developers are trying to honestly create a game in which it is not just the same old click and collect type game. I will keep updating this review as I keep playing but for now, I am impressed.

Really fun and addicting little game.. I would 5-star this game all day except for the insane in game economy exchange rates. The game is fun and the collecting is enjoyable. I've spent plenty of real $$ on this game and it always felt reasonable, but I've stepped back to free play what I can. Oddly some things are quite reasonable time/value to gain, but also some of the loot is just bonkers cost wise. I've free gained 6 gold characters and several legendary items, which is amazing! But 1 single mythic item seems like it would take 2+ years to obtain free (if not more) and yet $100 to buy, when enough materials to summon 2 new gold characters is also only about $100. Similarly, been doing the 1 free weekly wish for a year now and not once got an epic weapon, but you can guarantee 1 drop with $50. But I could buy mats to craft one for just $25. it's kind of all over the place. If they rebalanced the economy, I might consider occasional buys, but it just seems a bit too greedy for no reason when the game would be more addictive otherwise.

Gatcha Wallet. I have been playing for a year and lead one of them to 10 alliances in this game. This is a much more blatant cadh-grab than most of the games in the business model. You get the most anemic trickle of progression for free, but if you want to compete at all, you are forced to spend, and spend HUGE. Players are dropping thousands every two weeks for new overpowered heroes that are only available for a limited time and then disappear for months until the developers decide to make them available for a short amount of time again. Oh and of course the drop rates are rigged, forcing you to wade through hundreds and hundreds of dollars to get the hero, let alone their subsequent 5 awakenings. If you have $100,000 off completely disposable income, you will be ready to compete here. If you want to test your skill without spending anything, dismiss the PvP portion of this game completely. At that point, you are left with the campaign, which will take you longer to complete than this game has left before it is pulled by the developers so that they can focus on more profitable ventures. Any and all feedback from the community is completely ignored by the development team, who respond by releasing more options for spending money through buggy updates. Players are quitting more than joining as of the date of this review. Do yourself a favor and stay away!

Not pay to win, very fun/addicting, really cool concept and mechanics. Anyone complaining about the game being pay to win just doesn’t wanna put the hours in and grind. Compared to many other games I’ve tried this is one of the most fair games with regards to “pay to win”. The only things that is annoying is how little gold and exp your buildings produce. However, even when stamina runs out, you get a free refill a day. And even if you want to further refill, you can do it with a fairly minimal amount of gems. In conclusion, yes this game could be a bit more budget friendly; however, it’s pretty fair overall and gives you many non-paying opportunities to make progress.

Every new hero/feature that comes out is ridiculously overpowered and makes all old heroes and content obsolete. So if you aren’t spending to have the latest and greatest heroes/content… be prepared to lose… a lot. Developers have no clue how to design a game properly and maintain it with balanced updates. They don’t listen to the community either regarding badly needed core game updates and quality of life improvements. They care about getting your money, nothing else! Don’t even bother trying to contact support for anything. It’s non-existent. Overall, best to simply avoid this game. If you start playing, I guarantee you will end up regretting it in the long run.

Fun, but $. This game is fun, but to succeed against opponents you need to spend money. The free play level that you can get to takes extraordinarily long to achieve. The graphics are top notch. The characters are unique. I like the premise of the game. I just wish more could be achieved without real world cash. I bought the battle pass, which helped. But even that seemed like not enough bang for the buck. I have no problem giving some $, but this goes too far having to spend money in too many directions for upgrades. I have played for 45 days, and play daily. I give it 15-30 more before I will get frustrated and move on.

Hit a wall too fast.. The match 3 is really fun and the mechanics of the game itself are enjoyable, but after about two weeks of playing I hit a hard wall. My main team is all level 90, but to level any of them up I have to wait days for the right events to come around that give you only a couple of the materials you need (for example, you get two attempts per event and each event gives maybe 8 per try while I need 250 to ascend my hero). Not to mention that I couldn’t even beat the event today when my team has over 1500 more power than the event recommends. I understand needing to grind to level your heroes, but if I can’t even get the points to level up these people then what’s the point?

Insert coin to continue. I’ve played tons of games like this. It costs energy to play the game. Energy regenerates really slow. This is done to entice players to buy more energy. I understand you need to make money off your game, but gating play time behind energy is dumb. I hate games that do this. I don’t mind spending money on summons and stuff like that. But don’t turn your game into an arcade machine. “Insert coin to continue”. If you want to get players hooked on your game, keep them actively playing. I’m not saying make energy unlimited. There just needs to be a better balance. If I run out of energy after 10 minutes, the last thing I want to do is spend $ or gems to refill it. It makes me want to exit the game, uninstall, and find a game that gives me enough resources to play for more than 10-20 minutes and spend money in THAT game because in THAT game I feel like I’m getting my money’s worth. This game has good bones, good voice acting, the art style is nice and I’m actually interested in the story line (which is rare for a mobile game). This isn’t a bad game. They just need to let their players actually play it so they will be enticed to spend money on summons and other things instead of gating their play time behind energy that runs out in a few minutes and then takes hours to recharge on its own.

Appreciate This Game So Much. I don’t play many mobile games due to the overwhelming bombardment of ads, lack of challenge, and overall boring and cheap game designs. Call of Anita has been a very needed breath of fresh air as far as my experience with mobile games are concerned. I love the game design, the art style, magic systems, character collection and the never ending list of things to do and ways to level up. And the biggest THANK YOU to the game designers for not forcing ads down our throat at all in this game.

Fun game, very addictive and very expensive.. The game is fun and beautiful to play, and has new updates every 2 weeks introducing new heroes. That may sound great, but in practice in costs a player well over $1000 to obtain the latest hero with all their awakening skills. Then you’ll need a weapon, well actually 5 for a team, that’s going to cost another $500. Then you’ll need energy just to play levels, a battle pass, talents skill points, dragon master points, runes and many other things that all cost money. Oh also just about everything is RNG meaning you will have many instances of just getting junk items for 1 good item. You could easily spend $10,000 usd in game and would still only be mediocre in strength. If wasting that amount of cash on a mobile game sounds appealing, then this is your game! Just don’t expect seemless updates, since every single update released over the last year has had some bug issue that needs immediate attention. Lastly, they devs of the game will present events such as the 1 year anniversary event, where the “gifts” are only available for a price. This game is really only fun for those with large amounts of disposable income.

Addictive, fun, NOT frustrating and enduring!. I am a huge fan of match 3 games. Love playing on my tablet. This game really fits the bill. Great graphics, huge variety of characters, creative attacks and a new task/challenge each week. I actually don’t mind spending a few bucks to support because I feel I receive my money's worth. And finally it is so refreshing to play a game that is not speed, reaction and dexterity based. Coming from a gamer that was around when the Atari 2600 was introduced!

Pay To Win. Would be fun if there were different brackets for grinders and spenders but those do not exist. Most grinders end up quitting because you cannot compete with only one 5 star hero. Even your four star heroes are overwhelmed because you need to get the same hero four times for it to be fully powered. A majority of my heroes are not fully awakened due to only drawing those heroes once. This means all my crates get taken during the Treacherous Seas events, no fair matches in the Arena(most teams are 10k or 25% stronger than mine). Once over level 120 for heroes the gold needed to level up is in short supply I ended up having an issue where my I spent my tokens in the honor shop on holy scales. All my holy scales disappeared along with my honor store tokens. I contacted customer support, GM Mauri, insulted and gaslight me, no help. After this I have deleted this game. Customer service is incompetent do not waste time or money with this terrible game. With this kind of service is is no wonder why they had to rebrand. Stay away!!

The game has been ruined. This game was my favorite thing for a while. It has beautiful artwork, engaging gameplay, and I spent hundreds of dollars on it. The most recent update has killed my enjoyment of it. The developers do not listen to the community and are only money hungry with their new updates. The latest updates require you to spend money in order to access them, making only those who spend mindlessly able to advance to the very top. The system of boss fights where you cannot control anything is pointless. Nobody wanted the dragoneer update, and nobody likes it, yet it’s here anyway. You’re killing your biggest fans’ interest and it’s so disappointing. I will not be spending any more money until there are great changes and I know many others in the community feel the same.

Don’t waste your time and money on it. It is a pay to win game. It keeps adding new mechanisms to evolve your teams so that players have to keep paying to catch up. What you have paid soon became worthless. Here is a list for the money grabbing systems: Hero levels Hero Awwakening Hero Talent Rune upgrade Rune slots upgrade Artifacts Weapons leveling up latest added dragon master It is getting worse with increasing speed.

Why Bother…. When everyone else have 5 Star cards and you don’t, it means you won’t get far. Lower level players take you out without any problems, yet your so-called strong heroes die seconds after you start. There’s not enough energy, coins, resources or anything else. All of the rewards and events relating to those rewards are just false advertising. The only thing I like in this game is the very, very short match-3 game (that should be longer), the graphics and storyline, everything else is a rort, it’s unfair and bias. Don’t expect daily rewards, those disappear after the first 7 days of gameplay. To buy anything in this game to progress, is a rip off. Just remember: nothing good comes for free, you have to pay. As for redemption codes, don’t expect it to work. It says: “does not fit this parameter”. Today will be the last day I spend money!

Worst fighting system ever. Very unfair and unreasonable fighting system. No event can be finished due to worst fighting system ever. For example, if there is Jane in the event, no one can beat the event. However, my Jane is rubbishy cause she never behaves as they show you.

Typical Greed Ruins another Game. They are starting to become very PTW oriented. Every ‘event’ is practically pointless in terms of how far you can progress without paying any money. The heroes you summon are predominantly useless except a VERY rare few that are marked as necessary to progress .. the game is visually appealing and has a great helpful community.. they do respond to feedback and make regular updates and changes. However the greed is becoming a real problem and the game becomes UNPLAYABLE and pointless unless you’re spending a lot each month - which is what always happens with these games in the end.

Battles are too short. The bulk of the playing time is pressing on a hundred pop ups trying to entice you to buy something. Not a fun experience at all.

Surprisingly good so far. So far this game is awesome. The graphics are clean and so pretty. The story is good as well and it has good voice acting. So far I would recommend!

Best of its kind. You have addressed just about every shortfall of your competitors, absolutely loving this game. Art style is top notch, voice acting is great (though since chapter 4 there hasn’t been any, not sure if that is on purpose?) I do beg one thing of you though. I’m color blind and while the affinity of some enemies are easy to discern most of the time I can’t tell just based off the rings around the enemies you can preview before entering a level. Time gated. Very time gated for resources such as energy, gem from dailies, these are required to level up your heroes and take very long to acquire. The game does have freebies and can be F2P but overall your progression would be months or years slower than those that willing to pay.

Data mining. Had to download this game to get a code for a voucher. Bad graphics, bad gameplay and absolutely rips my data when I was playing. Near 1.5gb for 2mins of gameplay

Disappointed. At first the game was great. Until you have to buy the things with real money to level up your hero. The game has no other way except to pay cash for basic things. It’s not very fun to have to pay so much just to level the things you need to play. So, the game just stops because you can’t beat bosses with weak heroes.

Call of Antia. I played this game for 4 months or so and enjoyed it but the more recent changes to the game, introducing ever more powerful heroes every fortnight or so make it clear that the developers are more interested in making changes designed to encourage players to spend money to acquire the new heroes, than to actually make changes to improve the game. For example being able to memorise a set of hero and weapon combinations for a simple one click change instead of having to individually equip each hero. I have therefore stopped playing and requested deletion of my account. I think it telling that the developer has at no time asked why I’m deleting my account.

Best Matching game with extremely good artwork!!!. I love match game but this really brings it to the next level as we have to strategise the colours. Sometimes the normal match 3s are better for hero skills than others. While this game has a lot of pretty shiny things you can buy, as free players go, there are still a lot options that you can do without feeling handicapped by the game. The artwork is noticeable and very beautiful. I didnt really get the storyline but i love all the different heroes, they were very well thought off and reminds me of LoL but in a match 3 version. Love love love the various special events available and the option for alliance wars. I cant fault this game at all. Worth downloading. I wish there is an option for 10 stars 🥰🥰🥰

I’ve invested far too much money into this waste of time for far too long. No more. Sooooo many people are leaving and they don’t care, because they have other games they’re focusing on. It’s dead. Devs need to ask themselves. While this game is almost as same as the empire and puzzles, the devs of this game need to ask themselves: why so the players/customers pay for such your polished copy with so much greedy yet so little ways to play. I rather spend my time in other games even like afk arena or genshin, at least you got things to do when you are not buying.

Reasonable match 3. Not the same as the video. This is a reasonable match 3 game and the narrative isn’t awful. Be aware, it looks very little like the screens. [update] - the gameplay screen is not representative of the game. It is not a 3rd person view with gameplay in the actual world space. It’s a standard profile screen format layout, match 3 game. Just be honest about how your game looks and don’t try and trick people by pretending it’s something else.

Okay. The game is good and would’ve been 5 stars for me, but the issues for me is that the father you go in the game, the slower it is to level up without spending actual money to buy more gold, gems, items, etc. In the game, it costs exponentially more gold/xp/etc. to level up a hero, weapon, dragon, building, etc. which makes it more difficult to go further in the campaigns and events. Even if you have a few rewards here and there but if you want to get better in the challenges, it becomes more difficult without spending out of pocket.

Greedy. This used to be my favorite match 3 game. But the developers showed their true colors recently. They gave a very poor description of a reward in a premium pack for an event then when you pay for it and grind through to get it it’s not what it should have been. Rather than fix this and reset the option they sent out a message that was basically “too bad, maybe you’ll earn it one day”. For those of us who have bought packages and monthly subscriptions this is a huge insult. Don’t waste your money.

Amazingly engaging. It’s been few months I’m playing and kudos to the developers & artists! Fantastic artworks & animations, simple yet sophisticated game play, fluid experience. Wish the new rune system was a less hard to thrive on. Rune economy demands some inflation. Love it.

Pleasantly Surprised. The ads for this game made me so uncomfortable that I downloaded the game to stop seeing them. I thought since it’s on my phone, I’d try it out. The story is actually very interesting, and the gameplay itself is quite fun.

Difficulty Spike / Pay To Win.. Was fun for the first couple of days, but there’s clearly a pay wall now. Huge difficulty spike and unable to progress. Was a neat idea, just a bit of a cash grab. Can no longer progress in the campaigns unless you pay to upgrade, or buy champs. Not worth the download.

Plunder Events. During plunder events players still loose half the allotted time for animations. Most people don’t care about this part the game. Can you make it possible to skip all animations and time loss for plunder events. I’m also at the point where I don’t even bother with the plunder events, every time I try to plunder a ship it’s the same thing. All the colour pieces are set to benefit my opponent. I don’t have any choices except to power up their special powers. So you have failed in 2 things for one event. The game was good early on, but it’s going the same way as all the other cash grab games.

Pay to win, lots of grinding. This game is beautiful, but sadly heavily pay to win, with loot box mechanics. It seems like you must either grind forever or pay a few hundred bucks a month to progress. The match-3 mechanics are generic, meaning they are familiar, but also quite stale. The story line gets tiring as well. If you’re familiar with Empires and Puzzles, this game plays similarly, while trying to drain your wallet as fast as possible.

Cute. It’s like dating someone you’re attracted to. Eventually they’ve put in all they’re going to give to the relationship and you’re expected to do more and pay more. You’ll spend a lot of time for no payoff when you summon new characters. Wallet warriors abound as the rich kids can simply buy their way to the top. The game has cute animations and it’s nice to have characters that aren’t control or owned by Disney yet.

Do NOT download!. After 3 attempts to open the game (it was stuck indefinitely on loading) it crashed my phone entirely. I have an iPhone 12 - it was on an endless reboot loop and required a factory reset. Not impressed - which is a shame because the reviews were great.

Deleted. You transferred control of the guild I spent money to create because I was inactive for 3 days. I had a death in the family and wasn’t worried about some phone game. I come back to find that the guild I formed and lead for months is no longer my own. I spent money on this. Deleted the game immediately. Don’t even care if you fix it because I won’t be back.

Poor F2P game. You’ll hit that point where you tu out of energy and pull crystals pretty quick ( 4 or 5 days) and then it’s pull out the credit card or move on

Fun. You know those games that have advertisements that portray one thing but then you get into the game and it’s nothing like that? From what I can tell so far this is not one of those games. Good for you guys making your ads and your gameplay the same thing

Quickly becoming p2w. Started playing this rather early in, as the game progresses and gets more updates is added things that make it at best very unbalanced got f2p and at worst prohibitive; especially with faction wars being wildly unbalanced and even story progression being aggressively stalled out once you hit a certain power level. I hope it doesn't get worse because all in all its a very fun game with great character art and I would love to see it find it's balance between f2p and p2w

Slow to play w/o paying. The low energy limit means you’re not playing much before you’re either waiting for recharge or paying to refill it. This adds up as you try to farm materials for upgrading your units and such. Interesting game with good presentation but slow progression makes this less fun than it could’ve been.

Boring. It’s the same thing over and over and over and over again. They never introduce anything like all the other match 3s

2 star game. This is a pure pay to win game. 100% Min. $100k to get in a good set of heroes keep in mind, that’s only getting a set not even max them. If you play for free, you are looking at a min of 5-6 years of play time to get a team of 5 star heroes. Is there a way for 4 star heroes to beat 5 star heroes? 0% chance. The game provides synergy and elemental weakness but these means nothing in front of 5 star heroes. 5 star heroes can upgrade 5 times by getting the same one. It will take you 5-6 years to get a set of 5 star heroes in your mind, if you want to max them as a free player? Not even your life time. If you plan to spend money? Around $1m to get it. Now if you want to get random 5 star heroes and just max them, it might cost 50% less. If you are a free player, probably can achieve in 50-60 years time. It’s not one star game because the game meet my requirement as a playable game. Graphic/story don’t mean anything if the game mechanic itself is undesirable. My suggestion is to make all heroes able to reach the same max level, the only disadvantage should just be the skills and talent. The player base is getting smaller everyday because people realize this game isn’t worth the time. This game will die if the marketing team is trying to push so hard to milk money, people will just end up leaving. My server died in 3 weeks, nearly no souls. Arena ranking isn’t moving. Basically you spend money to be in a ghost server.

Battlefields. Just noticed after battling other teams that I was able to be beaten by a team that was a bit lower than my score was. When I tried battling a team that was about 10,000 over my score I was beaten although my players had higher scores each. I really enjoy the game otherwise I just wish the battlefield could be fair.

Crashes my iPad mini. Looks like a great game if I could only get past the first orc. Game crashes and I have to reboot. Tried 3 times. And still can’t get past the orc in tutorial. DELETE!!

False advertising. Game looks/plays nothing like it’s trailers or screenshots. It’s just another 2D match rpg with base building, like all the others. Wish devs would put less time into creating fake games and more time into their actual game good.

Best Match 3 RPG I’ve played. This is a well-made game. Really feels like a RPG. Music is epic. Character designs are beautiful. Storyline feels like watching Lord of The Rings. Graphics are stunning. These are the many aspects of the game that will get you fascinated and entertained. Great job to the developers!

False advertising. Not only does the game look nothing like the ads but you made an ad that is literally Michael chasing the tennis tutor but instead it revolves around this bad game

Call if Anita-offensive and suggestive. This game should not be advertised as is… the commercials are very suggestive and offensive… my grandson should not have access to this I am shocked and angry at what is available to our youth! Shame you can have advertisements such as these 😡😞

Game sucks. The whole point of downloading the game was so I can get one piece fighting path but the game didn’t even let me in

Worse Dev and mod ever. The game is all about pay to win. The rate in the game is horrible and the shop change from server to server. They used to have a lot of weapon and hero that you could pull that made sense and they all pulled it out, now for a hero banner you could wait month before you could get it. It get worse, the mod on discord are real fascist. Tell them something they dont like and you get mute, they only care about making us pay, they dont even work on the game! They make you collect stone, and it been a year I am stuck with millions of stone that are totally useless. The rule are no where written and you have to go deep in the archive to find it and the mod are like yeah you should know as if it was common sense. An example is the rule that you get a guarantee pull for a hero after 3 times in the same banner. But dear god, try to find it anywhere in the game about this rule. Most people quit the game and I dont blame them, the dev dont give a dam about the player. Dont waste your time like I did and do not download this game.

Meh.. Pay to win aspects (pay wall early in game) Poor writing in the main story line. Like laughably childish bad. AdGem partnership seemingly doesn’t honour Equipment and runes make pvp so unbalanced it’s actually infuriating. Character design is alright (I’m not a feminist, but jeez some of these ladies need a better shirt)

Broken. Starts out great but PvP is severally broken. AI spams specially abilities at a ridiculous rate healing even weak émîmes a an impossible level and attacking at unrealistic frequency makingnlater stages drawn out and frustrating. Great early.

В первую очередь, мне пока что непонятно, зачем раздавать персонажей 2*, если даже на первых этапах игры в них поиграть просто невозможно, тк компании требуют сильных персов. А если не проходишь компании, то не получаешь наград. А если не поучаешь наград, то нет возможности прокачать тиму, и, соответсвенно, не проходишь компании. Замкнутый круг. Ребят, ну, погрузите меня в эту игру на неделю-две, тогда я, может, и донатить начну. А так… ну, просто скучно.

Remove dragon master. Game has been getting progressively more pay to win. Dragonmaster is over the top. Latest update is worst. Alliance intruder huge letdown. Take dragon master back.

Awesome so far. Great game guys I’m just starting but its awesome so far keep it up.

Plan to pay. The game itself is fun,But if you don’t spend money you’re not gonna be going forward very quickly. At the beginning summoning is great with new characters however even if you spend money on gems to summon people you’ll keep getting the same ones over and over again . When you do 15 summonings and you have no new characters in there it’s frustrating . Even when you spend money be prepared to get nothing out of it.

Incredible Presentation!. Now to get those sound effects to match. Please add more dramatic sounds when strong and weak attacks hit. Add a more dramatic combo meter sound wise as well:)

GMs/Developers have ignored all attempts to contact them. It’s now been 1 month …of me trying to reach them regarding getting screwed over during their Light Character summoning event. I had 3 crystals….and in the 28th summon I received Jane yay…game froze when watching that stupid “Merge Mansion” ad as it has many times before. Load back in and EVERY item I summoned including Jane gone…oh yeah and so we’re my crystals. Every attempt to reach them through in game tools as well as their so call “Official” FB Page and nothing…it’s nice to know a paying customer is so easily ignored. Yes I’ve spent about $200+ to date … more then I normally would … I guess maybe they only pay attention to customers who’ve paid $250. They need to work hard to get my loyalty and money again because as a result I’ve barely touched a game that I loved. I will be recommending anyone else to avoid downloading until their issues are fixed.

Call of bank accounts!. Used to love this game when it came out, I played frequently. Used to spend money here and there when there was an event not just because of progression but to support the game… now a days you have events back to back and bingo lottery system which will drain your bank accounts in no time! I’ve spent so much time on the game and it’s like you have to spend money to even get the resources to lvl your heros( past 180 ) or you get left in the dust. I know most game are pay to win but this game holy…. You could literally spend over 200$ a day easily just to keep up with players. I’ve officially quit after a year of the game and my suggestion to ppl who read this is if you wanna spend your money to win at a game (which takes no skill to do btw) be my guest or find another game that you can enjoy Also they’ve made purple hero so overpowered it’s ridiculous, all the best hero’s are purples ie Loki, Sherlock… etc

In the last few months, they have released many new features that require real $ to unlock, you can’t do it using game currency. Many players are leaving because of this.

Sound issue. Please fix the sound problem.can’t listen to music while playing only the game sound playing.

Cheap Money grab game. I’ve played several 3 match RPG games and this one is the worst in terms of f2p friendly, you won’t be able to get anywhere without spending at least 1k real money on this one. Other gotcha games at least give you a decent hero at the beginning for free or “50 free pulls”, but not this one, this game want their hands in your wallet starting from day.Pure greediness.

Enjoyable work in progress. As an empire and puzzle veteran, this game has a lot of potential! The alliance chat keyboard could be better and the war log so that you can see how many flags each alliance have left but I think this will get better in time. What’s awesome already are the heroes, events, challenges, and rewards! I was so bored w E&P and it’s nice to feel excited to play a match 3 game again! Give COA a try!

Can’t get refund for accidental in game purchase. Can’t get refund for unintended in game purchase! I will quit this sorry game. The ad for selling items pop up with a lag which cuase me to accidentally purchase something that was only$3, the value is not important but the fact I can’t get refund for something I didn’t meant to buy makes me mad. Stop pop up and cause lag! I have not played the game since the accidental purchase bc I want u to check ur logs, u may also take the items back, but not refund me is like robbing players who don’t wish to buy ur in game items! I won’t be returning bc due to unjust charging

Empires and Puzzles 2.0. Used to play quite a bit of E&P and had a lot of fun, and this feels very similar in terms of gameplay but with much improved graphics. I also much prefer the art style and character designs in CoA. The hero roster is smaller due to it being a newer game but that will change over time. The pvp is pay-2-win but not anymore than other similar games - there is a lot to enjoy as F2P.

Loved it… til it stopped working. Trying to find support… avid paying player. Couldn’t find any way to report my issue. All of a sudden my Call of ANTIA had a problem updating, and after uninstalling and re-installing on my iPhone, it loads… and after the splash screen it is just black. I can tap and it’ll show “fireworks”, but nothing else happens. I loaded this on my iPad and it worked fine with my GameCenter login.

Decent so far. I like the art and overall presentation the game has so far. The story is a little generic but it’s told competently enough, the voice acting is very amateurish I’ll have to add, but otherwise it’s decently presented and is easily the best part of this game. The gameplay isn’t much, if you played any match 3 games you aren’t gonna get whiplash here. Same with the city building

Very upset at the game. I opened my game today & collected my daily reward then a welcome back screen popped up and it wouldn’t go away until I confirmed it and I lost my entire game! I was level 20 with a lot of characters many of them level 120, upgraded weapons, all the dragons unlocked, on chapter 13 & a level 10 castle. All of it gone & I have to start over! I worked hard to get as far as I was & to lose it all is very disheartening. I was really loving the game & the story line & I really don’t want to start all over.

Pretty good - some flaws. Currently no way to reset characters to get resources back. This is pretty standard nowadays with games like this. There is currently very little the game does to give you pulls for new characters. Most games like this will average with free play 10 character pulls a day, not here. Unless your spending $ you are lucky to get 1-2 pulls a day sometimes none even when taking the time to partake in every in game event. Allow character resets for returns on investment for characters no longer used. Allow more free ways to actually earn more character summon chances. 1-2 character pulls a day is very low.

No customer support. The game is good. It does a poor job of explaining how to level up heroes beyond their supposed max levels. Like what is ascension. Don’t have to spent a lot of money and you can get free items for watching ads. However I’ve lost many items that I purchased in the game using my tokens and they never seem to appear or after a period disappears. I’ve also reached out to support about a purchase issue and no one ever got back to me. Since then so never spend money and would recommend the same.

Totally Impressed!. I don't know how I missed out on finding this game sooner. I've tried so many match type games and they all either get too hard if they have PvP focus or too demanding financially though trotted out as a f2p. The animations, graphics, and even the voice acting is great in this one and not too heavy or vague for the tutorial. I could go on but just play and see for yourself!

Was amazing. I’ve been doing playing for about a month now. In the beginning I would log on ever day listening to my audio books and completing everything I could. Even used to spend money. But ever since the update all background audio sources fade out and stop playing when call of Anita is opened. I’d rather play other games that allow background audio. Just a little fyi if your like me and like to listen to something while you play your games.

Always with the energy…. A nice little match-three-plus-hero-collection game, with dragons even! But… you can’t just set down and PLAY it unless you’re ready to shell out, because in addition to the typical p2w hero summon packs and resource packs that don’t so much break the game unless you’re big into leaderboards they couldn’t resist the typical energy system that prevents you from playing more than a handful of levels at a time. Overall I would recommend it to fans of the genre except that the energy puts an arbitrary cap on your play, so decide whether you mind that.

Devastated. I came back to the game after an extended break, and was offered a new server or the same server. There was No Warning that my previous game would be deleted. I had spent real money on this game over the years, and expected to see all my characters and progress on a different server with different players. Instead, it started a whole new game from nothing- it put me in a tutorial for gods sake. I’m absolutely torn right now, I feel like I was completely blindsided. Obviously I’m not going to play the game from the beginning, I’ll have to delete the app and move on.

WILL QUICKLY COST THOUSANDS. TOXIC COMMUNITY.. I spent tens of thousands of dollars on this game, and you know what? I wish I’d never downloaded it. I say all of this as a recovered addict (or “whale”). The game is fun to play, and it’s addicting. But heed this warning… Their “random” pulls (heroes, weapons, other items) are not random. I played this game for a long time and came to see a pattern. Their “random” chances are brilliantly designed to only give you what you want RARELY AND TOWARD THE END OF THE MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF DRAWS TO GET WHAT YOU WANT. Therefore, in order to be a top player, you have to spend A LOT. On top of that, the community has become really toxic. I would never allow a young person/child to try this game. It could easily end up costing an unaware parent tens of thousands of dollars. If you’re rich and want to willfully burn your cash over a flaming pit of nothing, then go for it. Everyone else; avoid this at all costs.

Great but with a few issues. Still being updated, which has made it better. But I’ve been having login issues currently, even got kicked from being an alliance lead because I wasn’t able to login during these updates. Once they are done I will probably rate this game higher.

Tutorial. The tutorial and introductory levels of a game are supposed to be what pique my interest and convince me to continue. This game’s tutorial does the opposite. It’s just another on-the-rails forced tutorial that I don’t actively participate in and cannot skip. It’s the kind that I completely tune out from, press skip during cutscenes and swipe where the game forces me to so that I can get past it and finally play. But by then, I just can’t get invested in it anymore. I was finally allowed to play at Chapter 2. That says all that it needs to. Any game that has one of these types of tutorials is an automatic 1 star.

Great Game And Improving!. At the time of me writing this, CoT only recently released globally and the bones of the game are great. The graphics are well done, characters contain unique abilities and players are rewarded for finding team compositions that function together. As a new game there are some items the developers have begun working to address, as mentioned in some of the other reviews, but overall if you’re looking for a fresh release to play I couldn’t recommend this game more.

Fun. The art is wonderful and so is the music . Voice acting is awesome and surprisingly good. The only thing is doing missions cost 5 energy which seems a lot. I’m just getting into the game and then I have to wait unless I want to pay. I would rather watch advertisements and help fund the game that way. But good job to the team, you have some real talent.

Developer is greedy like Activision 2.0. I do NOT recommend this game! Played hundreds of games and never seen a game this heavily monetized in a while. Normally there is a balance where either summoning characters is gated and energy is cheap allowing players to play while not getting the characters, OR strict energy requiring paying for playtime while having easy access to characters. This game has the worst of both. Add to this a heavily monetized rune system, which further impedes progress unless significant money is spent. I could understand the shop prices across the board if every other aspect of the game wasn’t grossly pay to play. Overall, the entire game was designed around extracting money from the playerbase, and while the UI is one of the best, it doesnt warrant the predatory practices this game employs.

Fun game when I could play it. I really enjoyed this game until the last update. Since then I just get a loading bar that says updating assets. It finished one time and then just loaded a black screen with no sound. I have force restarted my device. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Tried on cellular and several different WiFi networks. My device is an iPhone 13 Pro with iOS 15.4.1.

Candy Crush RPG. The most polished Match-3 game I’ve seen. I highly recommend, in spite of my grievances. Excellent graphics, world building, character design, art style, voice acting, animation and more. While the developer claims there’s no pay wall, there is one but it’s not as blatant as competitors. You can get pretty far along before the game slows. While pay to win isn’t necessary, this is clearly built that way.

I used to like this game. I used to like this game, now I just find it incredibly annoying. The energy is low and you can’t earn or gain more energy, it takes FOREVER to level up AND ascend your heroes AND their weapons! It gets to a point where it becomes obvious where you need to spend serious money in order to succeed in the game. For example, you need to summon a hero daily! Although that hero is free, 99.9% of the times you keep getting the same heroes you already have. And if you want or NEED a five star hero, or a special hero from their events YOU HAVE TO PAY MONEY.

A masterpiece!. Wow! This game is beautifully done. Graphics are as good as a console game. The story, characters, voices, magic, EVERYTHING in this game is wonderful. I downloaded thinking it was gonna be another disappointment but as of right now (been playing it for about an hour) the game is impressive. Well done guys!

Surprisingly addicting!. I saw the ad for it and thought it was a cool puzzle game that’ll take up 10 mins of downtime. Turned into a game that I’m now playing for 30 mins or more. The dopamine hit from getting combos by matching colors is surprisingly addictive. The story isn’t half bad as well. Doesn’t seem like everything is random. There’s a story to the game that helps keep you in tune with the design of the game. Well done!

Not an average mobile game!. You know I usually stray away from cringy puzzle mobile games like this one. But this… oh man this one is different. The charm of every character, the art style, the mechanics, the soundtrack, all of it. Makes it stand out and makes it brilliant fun. This is a game that is staying on my phone for a while. I love just about everything about it. A must try!

Pleasantly Surprised. I actually downloaded this just to see if it was anything like the ads. Surprisingly enough it is- not precisely, but close enough. It’s not a 3rd person game like the ads would have you believe, but the concept is the same. I’ve found myself enjoying this game a lot. Good graphics and character design, dialogue that’s coherent, and an actual plot.

Very addictive. I love playing this game the only drawback I have is there are a lot of ads where it asks you to buy things for real money The only gameplay issue I have is it takes so long for your energy to come back that you really can only play once or twice in a day I also wish there was a better way to get gems so I can get better characters or even a way to buy the certain characters I would like

Absolutely Amazing!. I have to say that I am very Leary when I comes to downloading games that I see ads for on Facebook. This Game is unbelievable!!! The story line is Great and I love that the characters and fully voice and the cut scenes are like a movie. I also like how it allows you to choose what you say from time to time. Definitely Worthy of more than 5 stars. I can’t wait to see what more comes during the future update. Keep up the good work team!!!!

Great Game!!!. Though it is another “pay to win” I was surprised at the gameplay and the story! It’s definitely fun and I love the fact that the script has voice over audio!!! I’m enjoying it and I will continue to play this. Hopefully there will be more chances to obtain high lvl summons without spending.

lack of hero balancing/ pay to win. I want to rate this game a five star game it is wonderfully done. But after a certain point it becomes very pay to win or to even progress in the story. When you factor no hero balancing and instead the developer just doubles down on already over powered hero’s in particular healers it just makes you want to find another game to play. Be prepared to spend a minimum of 100 dollars plus if you want to actually have a chance in the arena and be aware that some hero’s are just plain broken and in need of a fix. Other than those things the game is amazing and does draw you in to continue playing.

Something went wrong in Antia…. Devs, love the game and everything was fine even after the update and now suddenly, when starting the game it goes to update assets, after reaching 90% it slows to a crawl. I let it finish, took about 2hrs but the game never started up. I restarted but it went back to updating assets. This is on an iPhone 8 Plus.

Family game. This game has become a family favorite that I play daily with my children. I like how you have created games that really lets you use all of your hero. I would like to be able to trade my stone for other things. I have ended up with so much of it, I stopped collecting it. The game generates a collection of a lot more loot flags than what you can actually use. I have like 300 of them and I am using them every day.

Call of Antia. This is a great game if you have the patience later on in the game to wait 24 hours to be able to play the game for 15 minutes before you run out of energy. If it wasn’t for the fact that game play is very short lived for playtime, it would surely get 5 stars from me. Until that issue is fixed, only 4 stars for now.

The sound bug has ruined the experience for me. I like this game a lot, I am a busy mom of a newborn, I was playing pretty regularly on my downtime while I listened to a podcast or music. Ever since one of the most recent updates you can no longer play anything in the background and it has honestly made me not want to play. I’m always multitasking and I want to be able to play while listening to music or to a podcast.

Game review. I’ve just started playing and haven’t figured everything out but from the few days I’ve played I’m enjoying it. The story line has you wanting to find out what happens next and I like that a lot so 5 stars for putting a game out that is easy to play with a good storyline

Pretty But Expensive P2W. This game is a great idea and it's very pretty, but it's a pay to win, and an expensive one. I finished the main storyline and am uninstalling as of today. F2P is just not going to get anywhere in this game, and if you want to actually make any progress or participate in arena or social play, be prepared to drop a significant amount of cash. There is no new innovation, and has not been for some time, and each new summons or event is nothing more than a naked cash grab. I really liked this game for a while, but it's just too pricey for what you get.

Escapee. I have only been playing for a few nights but graphics are exceptional and the campaigns are balanced with not too much dependent upon having to pay to continue. At least not so far. Thank you for the little escape from the real world, even if it is only for a short time each night. Only time will tell if this game will plateau and force me to pay or quit, like all the others. We shall see. But for now, thank you. Nicely done. The Escapee.

Summoning and having fun.. Summoning your desire hero is all tbh but fun to get hero tokens to buy tears, wish there was an even for free summons up to like 30 to try and get your desired hero. Mines garabeth and I’m yet to get her. But overall been playing for almost a year and I don’t mind any changes bc it’s a new learning for me and I enjoy though, (keep it up guys and think about a day event where we can get 30 free draws for our desired hero) ❤️❤️

Stuck Loading. I would've written a review over how good the game was. If I could access it. It has been stuck on the loading screen, saying "Flying to Antia by dragon... Just a moment!". The problem is that it's been doing that for almost 200 "moments". Please rectify this so I can enjoy a digital game instead of being frustrated by it. Also, on the flip side of the negativity, this game shows a lot of promise. The graphics look phenomenal based on what I've seen. Please allow me to see it again. Thank you for your time.

Unique and fluid.. Reminiscent of DnD, with an excellent art direction, voice acting, and music. The simple gameplay is fun, and while I’m only st the beginning stages I am starting to see that it will get a few more mechanics as you progress, such as dragons and such. Try it out! Can’t hurt to enjoy it for a while.

Mmm :(((. This great game i love , n im in a very high level , I bought a bunch of stuff, and now after the update I can’t get in !! After the “ tap to start” goes to the rangers and others page which is blue green and red , ant there the game will be stuck all of the time , with any internet connections , vpns , … now I’m thinking about deleting… so sad , you asked me to tell you some details so you can help me but i cant get in to tell you so … And the help button wont appear again !

Fun game. I’d probably give this 5 stars except for the wars. Many times they are unevenly matched, though they are supposed to be. Another reason is this game glitches and when you report it the dems blow you off like it doesn’t matter. I lost out on much needed gems and arena/honor tokens. But the alliance I am in we all work really well together and discuss different strategies and support each other through discord.

Not worth the time.. After spending quite a bit of time trying to get used to this game I can honestly say I have no idea what the heck they are trying to do with it. The mechanics of the game appear to be several different popular game types smashed into one with a heavy Pay to win focus. You have part puzzle match, then you have a “city builder” that has no place, and of course the age old Gacha system for heroes. The combat mechanics are extremely janky and do not lend toward a natural experience. Having played many of these types of games I can say there are much better ones out there. Don’t let the misleading ads fool you.

Game RNG is horrible. The concept is cute, but the hero summoning is the worst. If you’re a lucky person, you might enjoy this game. If you’re not so lucky, don’t waste your time as you’ll bang your head against the wall with why you’re wasting your gems and time on utter crap. In no time you’ll be so behind everyone else that there’s no sense in playing. Finally, if you’re tempted to spend real money in this game be warned, you’re essentially gambling your money away. The summons are essentially a slot machine and you can easily waste $50 on a pile of 2 star / 3 star heroes while you’ll never use.

Light to go. If you are looking for a little would building, adventure and gem puzzles. This game is up your ally. City building for extra materials and hero quests are great. Character advancement for your game style of play, with elements vs monsters. A few choices from storylines can change the game a little. Full story voices enhance the experience.

Addictive, fun, NOT frustrating and enduring!. I am a huge fan of match 3 games. Love playing on my tablet. This game really fits the bill. Great graphics, huge variety of characters, creative attacks and a new task/challenge each week. I actually don’t mind spending a few bucks to support because I feel I receive my money's worth. And finally it is so refreshing to play a game that is not speed, reaction and dexterity based. Coming from a gamer that was around when the Atari 2600 was introduced!

Awesome Game. I have been playing for several days now since downloading… it is very sweet and addicting game. Graphic are sweet and detailed. Storyline is great and having it as a gem match game… is even better. I do find myself caught in the action and was enough I forgot Invite Friends with loot that comes with that. I think it should be anytime verses under Stage 10. I love this game though and looking forward ascending my level 90 heroes.

So far so good. Just started playing this game and I’m already loving it. Story is interesting, graphics are nice and it even has the characters speaking in their own voices which I love! You can definitely see the hard work that was put into the game. Looking forward to playing more.

The same exact pattern. It is as if they copy the exact same game over and over again, carrying forward the same flaws. In this case, the first 15 levels are stupid easy and then the boss in level 3 is at least 5 times harder than anything else. It is so ridiculous. I am NOT paying money to beat a level because you made it stupid difficult. Rather, It will make me delete your game and rate it a 1. Luckily for you, Apple lets you buy tens of thousands of 5-star ratings to counteract my legitimate one, so you don’t care much.

Very disappointed since your “upgrade!. I really would like to recommend this game but for some reason something happened with your update. Not only for my ships being plundered ..constantly ..but I cannot win the Fallen Titans ! Not only has it become a lot less fun, it is quite aggravating. I don’t see any reason to waste money, which I’ve done. I do NOT recommend this game. If you update it to where you don’t want participants to win and you think that they will spend more money … think again because that’s really not the way it works.
