Wow. I’m not much for building conquest games but the storyline on this game really captured me. I’m at fourth chapter and the games progression in teaching you is phenomenal. I’m looking forward to the rest of the game so far five stars for quality, also their micro transactions are present but seem very minuscule at the time. I hope the quality of the game stays as I continue to level. Thank you for making a good game.

Wasted Continent. I’d love to be a professional game reviewer, just to I can better expose how horrible of a game that is Misty Continent. What behinds beautifully illustrated graphics is boring gameplay, convoluted events and poor interaction. The developers would be better off to spend less time in coming up with schemes to make more money and invest in good storytelling. Donkey Kong has more of a story to it than this game. That’s right, a game with a giant gorilla and a drunk jumping over barrels to save his lady friend has more story than this excuse of a Victorian age adventure. But let’s discuss the worst part of the game. The Wars. The unregulated, lack of logic, game ruining wars. Let me explain the problem. In most games, you can have PVP challenges, with a 5 minute cooldown. At that point, you have the option to challenge a NEW opponent. With this game? Nope, forget that rule. You can attack the same player over and over until you deplete them of all resources. No cool down, no new opponent. And let me add, you are defenseless to anyone above you, so if someone comes along more powerful and you are busy shopping for cookies and salmon, you are screwed. So what that mean for new users or players that have been around for 2 months? Unless you pay to play on a regular basis, you just need to give up. There’s literally no point in playing a game with such an unfair style of gameplay. In other words, do not download.

Buggy. Game is so buggy, there are times when i spent gold for extra builder and then it doesnt let me use the 2nd builder and ask me for pay money to get it permanently. Also the creation loading screen has been stuck for days for me. I created a ticket and they just log it, not sure if anyone testing it or making any updates or checking my acct to solve issue. Cannot make progress on my creation because load screen is stuck

Money scam. This game starts out OK and you can advance somewhat but after you reach a level early on it takes an enormous amount of time resources to gather the resources to upgrade. And to continue playing you have to continuously upgrade your buildings and complete all quest. The worst thing is I spent money buying the resources I need just to have them stolen from me by somebody who attack me. The game doesn’t tell you that. Real money spent on resources should not be allowed to be stolen by other players who attack you this is totally not right and a cheat. It’s like someone stealing money out of your wallet. Then it takes days to complete building upgrades unless you spend real money. What a scam this game should be outlawed.

those stupid clickbate ads REALLY GET ME MAD!!!!. You can tell it’s fake when they say they didn’t spend anything They had to of spent something in order of of started the game with a legendary hero. Otherwise they wouldn’t of gotten that hero that early into the game!!!!! IF NOT THE AD IS FAKE!!! I AM NOT LYING!!! STATE OF SURVIVAL DOES THE SAME THING!!! NOT TO MENTION SEVERAL OTHER GAMES NOT WORTH MENTIONING (if I did I would have to go through tons of ads and trying to figure out which games are for those ads) THESE ADS SHOULD BE ILLEGAL (technically they are highly illegal I just meant with higher conciquinces) OR THEY SHOULD START GIVING THESE HEROS OUT FOR FREE!!!! THERE IS NO REASO THEY SHOULD BE USING SCAM ADS!!!!!!

Kind of a mean game. First of all the gameplay is NOTHING like the ads, which is super annoying. I enjoyed it at first but then I would get attacked by a stronger player over and over until I was completely annihilated. I would then spend the next week-2weeks recovering, healing, etc and just when almost recovered another stronger player would attack me 15 times and wipe me out again. It became hard not to take it personally. Even after joining a strong alliance this pattern continued. I literally spent all of my time in the game in recovery mode only to get knocked out as soon as I was almost recovered. This is NOT FUN. I have no clue why anyone would continue to play this game.

Would give this zero stars if possible. I’m used to grinding to avoid having to pay for freeware games as almost none are worth anything more than time. Misty Continent isn’t worth money or time. If you’re a new player and hope to advance, you’ll need to cough up cash as you’re perpetually attacked by higher level players with no way to defend yourself and no reprieve until all your resources have been plundered. Very reminiscent of The Future is a Dead Mall by Folding Ideas, but I doubt that’s intentional or ironic. In short, only download if you have nothing whatsoever to do with an abundance of free time, and you hate yourself.

This a War game, not a quest game!. I was expecting a quest style game from the ads I saw, but it’s war! If you want a game where you’re solving quests, hunting for objects , etc this NOT that game! This is a game where you have to join an alliance and fight other alliances in order to get supplies to grow your kingdom. It takes forever to get supplies to upgrade buildings and some building upgrades take 3 to 4 days to complete! If you love a game where you constantly attack other players to get ahead, this is the game for you. Be prepared to spend a lot of time fighting off attacks from other players, waiting for your energy to replenish and building upgrades to finish before you continue the game

It was fun for awhile.. I downloaded this game based off of an ad I saw and should have spotted the red flag as soon as I did. It looked nothing like the ad. I played it anyway and it was fun, until it wasn’t. The resources get harder to acquire as you level up and even when you get them they’re gone in an instant as you level up as you have to level multiple things at once in order to push the game forward. Leveling times get ridiculous fairly quickly. You want to level a building to 16, that’s 2 days that you wait while trying to get the resources to level something else up. Attacking anything takes a lot of your energy, ok I can live with that, until I wake up this morning to find the game broke it’s own rules and allowed the same person to attack my town 36 times in the span of 5 minutes, wiping out my resources. Upon trying to heal my troops I find that it won’t let me heal them because I don’t have the resources to do so leaving me vulnerable to attack and no way to defend. So yeah, thanks for the bait and switch and the broken game mechanics.

Update - SCAM & MONEY PIT. After I got attacked by the same person over and over which is supposed to be against the games terms, I could not heal or repair anything because I had no resources left. So unless I totally start over by creating a new account or spend more money to buy resources I am done. I played this game a while and was an alliance leader and really liked it. Once you get a certain size though you become a target for the game bully who attacks and destroys leaving you with nothing which is what happened to me (I didn’t get back in time to reshield). Unfortunately the shield only lasts 8 hours. This was a good game and most of the players were great, but it only takes one to bring everything down. Eventually this will cause people to quit playing, but until then allot of people will waste their money trying to build their estate. DON’T EVEN START, YOU WILL JUST WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!!

Not as Advertised. I'm tired of ads showing games that are not even remotely like the videos they advertise, so now I write reviews every time I see this, detracting one star from the rating I would otherwise give, and explain a bit about what the game is actually like. In the case of this game, I have played it for over a month, and there are no 3d adventure scenes that you play through. None at all. Instead, this game is mostly about building your civilization to conquer threats and beat other players, and mostly is pretty much exactly like Guns of Glory. This adds some puzzle play to the game, but that is the only unique thing about it, and they aren't even very good puzzles. Otherwise, so much of it is exactly like Guns of Glory. You build your civilization, train troops, deal with upkeep on those troops, and defeat threats and, if you like, other players. No 3d adventure at all, anywhere.

Interesting, pretty, BUT…. I’m a relatively new player. The graphics are lovely, I’m interested in the people and the story, I like base building games. There is plenty to do so you don’t get bored. However, my burgeoning alliance is being disbanded by leadership due to something that *crippled* their enjoyment of the game: 100k power players being able to raid 10k power players and rob them clean of rss. Is there a penalty in place that lessens rss stolen when such a gap is in between the attack and the attacked? It doesn’t feel like it, and now my new guildmates are leaving the game for good. 😢 If that is what I have to look forward to, though, I will leave the game as well. I’m a peaceful player and don’t like it when big bullies beat me up over and over and over again when there’s no chance I would be able to fight back. If anyone’s gonna pick on me, I would rather them be closer to my size!

So far so good. With all of these games, I worry about how much money I will to have to use to have any fun with it. So far, although there have been offers, I have been able to play without spending any money. I will continue playing as long as that is an option.

The worst of its kind. I’ve played games of this kind before, like the game of war and puzzles and survival. Never have I seen the game as poorly done as this! It is glitch upon a glitch - boosts that don’t work, flickering screen, crashing, jumping chat, invisible buildings and buildings that you can’t select, phantom mines - these are just a few off the top of my mind. The worst of it is the customer service. If they respond to you AT ALL, it’s only to tell you that you shouldn’t believe your eyes and everything is great. Their VIP customer service is a joke. It’s just another chat room where they put some poor chap to serve as a punching bag when they deliver developers’ idiotic response. In other words, save yourself THOUSANDS of dollars (yes, that’s how much it will cost you to play) and nerves, find a different game.

Good But Difficult. I love this game, but it’s difficult! There is no “owners manual” of rules or procedures, so there is a lot of trial and error and a ton of stuff to learn. It is very difficult to advance unless you are willing to spend a lot of money, and I do mean a lot! I have had several friends stop playing because of it and I’m probably going to have to do the same. The rewards given in the game are not nearly enough to keep moving forward. Although I love it, don’t waste your time!

No opt-out for PvP, not worth the investment. I really love city builders, and this one has a great theme and interesting details, such as the mermaids. If I could turn off PvP, I’d putter around with it forever, even spend some money on it. But since there’s no opt-out for PvP, there’s just no point buying upgrades or resources. Stronger players are just going to steal everything anyway. It’s a fun game and I enjoy a lot of aspects of it, but not being able to turn off PvP is a dealbreaker for me. I doubt I’ll play for much longer, and it’s definitely not worth paying for anything.

Just another soulless mobile game out for your money.. ‘Want a cool mermaid skin? Reach the top of a 15 floor tower by finding the designated item under 1 of 25 slabs. Find the item, and you get to move on to the next floor. But wait, you need a 1-time use hammer to break 1 slab to reveal the hidden item!’ I was able to reach floor 3 for free, and it was here I thought spending $100 dollars would at least get me close to unlocking the mermaid skin. It gave me 30 hammers, but I had to break all the slabs to progress to the next floor. Assuming one’s luck goes as bad as this for all floors, you’ll need to spend $1,200 dollars to get the mermaid skin. Twelve thousand dollars. For a mermaid skin, that barely does anything other than look pretty. Don’t play this game, and certainly don’t reward the company who made it by giving them your money.

Slow, as usual.. Another pay-to-progress game that has building times taking hours and days … after, of course, quickly advancing you through early stages of the game to hook you. — And the advertising, promising loads of rewards for using special codes as a draw to get you to download, is nothing like what was promised. — Just another Big Fruit-approved scam. — UPDATE. After giving the game a fair shot, it has been DELETED. Customer Service and the developers did not want to resolve a huge loss of potential rewards from an event that they screwed up. Customer service was delayed by days, then provided patronizing and useless responses, in addition for asking for screenshots AFTER the event was over and refused to help unless the SS were provided. I refuse to be treated this way … therefore, GAME DELETED.

Love game but. I love the game, but somethings glitch like tideland if you’re going to have events like that make sure the map works that you can see it and you don’t have to reload your device for five times because of freeze ups. Do you have a saying that’s horrible is customer service? How do you find them on the game and how do you clarify but you didn’t receive stuff I did the first three updates after I did them I want to collect the stuff and it said out of date so nothing got to receive it but it’s still in my messages that’s there just can’t collect

Misrepresentation. This game is nothing like the advertisements or the pictures shown in the App Store. It’s really a war game. You accumulate resources and other players attack you and takes them away. In between attacks you get to try to build your estate and participate in challenges. If you’ve never played a game like this be warned that it is not well documented. You learn everything by trial and error and when you make mistakes you lose resources and it may cost you some real money to get back your resources. Stronger players like to attack new players like myself who don’t know what they’re doing. It’s no fun to lose all your resources that you’ve spent weeks accumulating. Things just don’t make sense in the storyline. Your estate seems to be built on a large island however when you look at the map there’s no water near your estate.

Misty Continent. I like this game a lot, I enjoy everything about it, except, it is very hard to get information from anyone! I have my stronghold up to level 17 and need to upgrade it to level 18…the requirements are to upgrade my wall, which I did, and the other requirement is to up grade the shooting range. The problem is I don’t have a shooting range and can’t find where I would get it from. Information should be easier to receive. I’ve figured out many things that were not explained, but information about the shooting range I can’t find. I would hesitate to encourage anyone to play this game unless they are willing to stumble their way through the game having to figure out everything. This is an update on the above review! I rated it a three the first time, I’ve now changed it to one star. I was hopeful that the developers would at the least respond to the questions asked. No! As I previously noted. If you have questions, you will not get any help. I have money tied up in it, but as soon as that is gone I’ll be deleting it. Update: I like this game a lot, but trying to upgrade anything in the game is very difficult! That is if you are not in a really good allegiance. That is the key!! I switched allegiance and do not have any problems now.

Repetitive and Confusing. The graphics are good, but most of this game is about building a community and joining an alliance. It becomes very repetitive with glitches from time to time you begin to loose interest. I wish there were more adventures. The abyssal mines is absolute garbage and the ancient tombs and dungeon raider are not much better. Plus heroes have all of these abilities for battles and another set for the dungeon which makes it confusing to understand which hero to upgrade.

Potential. K34 Hood This game has potential however my kingdom is dying because there is nothing to do but log on and farm. Their only running two events against other kingdoms and there also severely lacking. KvK is ran every 2 weeks you can only attack other players that enter the forest and Tidelands which is also ran every 2 weeks is the other event which is hit or miss for war. The game needs more events to keep interest or kingdoms will keep dying and eventually we will all move on to games with more action.

Ads definitely lied. so they have like 3 different ads that say the same codes. But when you download the game and input the codes. two out of the three work, and it doesn’t even give you all the nonsense it said it would…. I’m greatly becoming disappointed and i’ve only been playing for 4hrs… It was promising but when the ads don’t even come through what are you gonna keep playing for?

Misty Continent. New changes to the game recently have relieved some of the tedium and make it fun to play again. But our kingdom is mostly dead due to players quitting for multiple reasons. Some are constantly raided until they quit, some quit because individuals can make game play a misery for the entire kingdom. Some quit because if you don’t pay, you don’t excel as fast or as far as those who do pay. Then there are the customer support issues, or lack of support issues. I’ve submitted multiple tickets for multiple issues over the year that I’ve played, only to have them promptly closed with a statement of we will look in to it. I’ve paid money and have a decent account, but I look forward to the day I quit for good.

Not a bad game. This game isn’t that bad I really like games with this concept, just one problem, it’s the exact same game as guns of glory, down to the same servers. I know this because I have an alliance member who is on guns of glory and also has this game, they went into the other game which was on server 75 while I was on 82 and found me, why are they the same game devs?

I play misty on ipad and would love. to play it on my new Mac mini. I know there have been a few problems with the game resently but you have fixed them. Thank you. A few months ago you posted in game that we could play the game on the desktop. But it has to atleast have the M1 chip. I have the Mac mini M2 chip. so it works and it does not work. the game comes up but when you go to send a msg it kicks you out. I was using my apple keyboard everytime. so i tried an old one i used in my patrol vehicle. well it did more, two keys were typed and sent. there is a problem and i would give you a 5 star when this is fixed. Oh i did sidmit the ticket to apple strore thank you

Latest update broken. I love the game so far however the last update did something to where I went into the message talking about the update and I tried to receive the stuff from it the message would freeze and I couldn’t close out of it. Please fix that. Thank you.

Good game. I really love this game. The graphics are amazing the storyline is very good. I love how the characters have their own voice and their own personality but I want to see something similar to a Clash Royale because this game does have some cards in it so I want to use those cards to fight against other people.

really. just. REALLY.. I’ve been excited to play this game ever since I got the ad of it. But it was just wayyyyy too laggy. Mine took forever to load and it took my characters forever to walk in the tutorial or something. I felt like it was going to kick me out the game by the time the screen turned black. It turned back to where it was laggy and then I tried to get out of the game even though it wouldn’t let me. It finally let me and I immediately tried to delete the game. If this is something your still working on, please fix it.

Not sure. I think these shady devs are taking down reviews? Also putting up fake ones.. you can tell the fake ones there are a lot! I thought you could not do that?! Anyway in my review letting wanna be new players know that once you get to level 22 and up(18+ is the 1st big jump in rss needed to level up buildings) you’ll never be able to play free to play without moving up to stay relevant ! Oh by the way I’m a spender but I still rather not spend! So I think I said the wrong amount of resources needed for level 23 stronghold(a huge jump) You need 40m food! 2m silver! if you play free to play you’ll be stuck there probably for a couple months if not longer! you can’t gather enough and if you do you’ll get frustrated and quit because of how long it will take! The resource nodes are very small, it’s a joke… especially silver! I read in a review not long ago that (I’m sure was taken down) that the Shady devs‘s are being sued! I don’t know, I’m gonna report these idiots to Apple see what happens!

Not happy. Game updated last night and now it keeps taking me through the chapter 1 tutorial and freezing as soon as the ship lands on the island All my stats and top bar inventory are right and all my buildings are still visible but it’s treating like I just logged in for the first time Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and doing the same thing and when I tried to log back in through Game Center it’s telling me it’s not backed up when it is all my games are backed up in Game Center If problems can’t be fixed I would like all real money spent refunded

Most recent graphics upgrade ruined last developer provided feature of the game. With the most recent upgrade to the graphics if it were a standalone game I would’ve quit. The graphics went from being pretty good to some thing that makes early Minecraft look robust. If it weren’t for having a phenomenal alliance with people I sincerely enjoy outside of the game, I would’ve abandon the game with this upgrade. It is really that bad. The gameplay itself was barely hanging on and the graphics was the one thing it had going for it. Even with the awesome people in my alliance if it doesn’t get better I will likely walk away.

Drains your battery!. Even on the lowest settings, this game drains your battery. Also they only allow one builder (you pay for additional ones) and you have 5 helpers that just basically clean up the grounds as you get new buildings. They should cut down on the helpers and give you another builder. The wait times for buildings to be finished upgrading are time consuming. After 2 days of playing some things to research are already at 22 hours. I ended up having to delete it due to drainage of my battery, having to recharge it 3 times a day vs. 1 before downloading this game.

The game is fun BUT. The big BUT is that it always tries to paste from my clipboard when I open the game. That is very suspicious to me. A game does not need to know what I copied last before opening the game. Also, I have been charged 4.99 when I did not make an in game purchase. I complained through in game support and they did not answer me. So I asked Apple for a refund since I pay for all my Apple related things w my Apple credit card. (Fabulous service w apple) Then Mist continent in game support sent me a nasty in game email. I don’t trust this game as all as far as privacy and can’t help but wonder how many gamers who have purchased in their game have gotten a sneaky one off charge the gamer did not actually make.

This is the best. I just started yesterday and I am on level 5 if anyone wants to play it you should try I have a baby brother that gets into things a lot but when I downloaded this he won’t get into it you need to try this I love it personally but if you don’t like it then ok

Top notch game!. I’ve played so many games over the years but this is by far my favorite! It has farming, puzzles, battles, hero collections, and I’m still unlocking features without having to spend money and waste a bunch of time leveling up just to go nowhere. The characters are really well thought through and the through line of the story is interesting. I’ve neglected all my other games since I started this one, and I’ve paid for other games that weren’t nearly as captivating…almost endlessly…gotta sleep though lol!

Excited to play. Only thing so far that I have not liked is when you do the updates you go back into the game to find that package is already out of date. Also would say the way to contact a customer support representative is horrible. So I’ve played about 3 months now and the map Color in Tidelands is horrible and very glitchy if that’s something your going to keep going that needs to be fixed. Also the mines in kingdom should be 2-3 times more in each one because I’m doing lev 22 strong hold now and need 32mill apples and you get 300 from a mine that will will take for ever not to mention your army eats those also. Something has to give if games going to survive.

My favorite game. I play this game daily. I love the battles, the wars, the quests, the plundering, and I have a great alliance. That said, anytime I look on the App Store for an update, I notice the pictures it shows LOOK NOTHING LIKE THE GAME at all. That is dumb. Also, the gameplay it shows in the previews is bull. It’s not that game. Why are devs trying to make it seem different than it is when it’s awesome already? The previews are NOT indicative of gameplay in the slightest.

Ok game. It’s a really fun game that doesn’t require spending a vast fortune. It has some features that I’ve never personally encountered before such as the mermaids. The only thing that doesn’t make this game stand apart from the others is the map killer alliances. I’m in a little alliance that is constantly getting attacked by one vastly more powerful. When we asked why they do it their answer was “so you don’t get lonely.” This game worries about people attacking and hiding behind peace shields during events however doesn’t care about fair conduct at any other point. Based on this my thoughts are it’s just another blah game that could have been amazing.

Developers are lazy and have no imagination. I’m writing this because I just noticed that they have increased gathering speeds. I’ve been playing for about four months and I have been growing pretty well, although I just noticed that they changed gathering speeds not only that but silver, which is rare already they have made less tiles. Also the events are pretty lame more directed towards 12-year-olds than adults with wallets. they just introduced the dungeon. What a joke. I should’ve known before even starting this game that the developers don’t care one bit about the gaming experience. You can tell that by their laziness, they don’t even respond to any reviews not even with a generic message like most companies. I will be selling my accounts and moving on to a new game. Wish you all the best if you download it.

Thousand times reskinned. Started out good but then you realize that all it is is a farming ground for pay to play to have fun against non-paid to play who don’t enjoy it. Maybe one of these companies will realize that if it’s not enjoyable, nobody will want to play it. Go figure. Stop supporting the companies that are just trying to get a little bit of money out of you and then make you leave so they can keep your money and not provide you any quality service for, it at all.

Sweet Game🎉🎉. I was very interested in this game from the previews, but when it started it got even better. I have never played animated game like this before. It reminds me of the older books where you could read along and choose your journey. This game is awesome. Thank you for making a game that you can actually sit down and enjoy!

Every update has bugs. This game is fun when it works. However, there are bugs throughout the game; especially when there are updates. Every time there is an update I cringe wondering what they’re going to break this time. With this latest update the game freezes when I try to access the update rewards. It’s a small issue but very irritating.

Very Disappointing - Don’t Play Misty Continent!. It’s not an adventure…. It’s a war game. I’m level 22 after about 85 days. At this point there’s no way to farm enough of the resources to grow or build. It’s all spend money on subscriptions. App Store photos are deceptive, not accurate. Game and events are glitchy on an iPhone 13 ProMax. All Events are poorly designed, deliver pitifully few rewards for the effort. Instructions for all game play and events are complicated and don’t reveal the details needed to succeed and it’s trial and error, completely frustrating. People in our alliance spend 100’s of dollars, monthly and there’s no end in sight to spending. If this were an adventure game with out gathering resources, no war & troops, it would be much more enjoyable.

Patience and strategy.. I absolutely love this game for more reasons than I can easily list. The strategy required to be highly competitive and successful is perhaps the greatest draw for me, but there is a lot more to the game than just strategy. It can be time consuming to advance in the game and level up your estate, but that is part of the process. You get a genuine sense of achievement as you progress through the story line, making the effort worthwhile. Important Tip: Align with a good Alliance that will help and support you, and if your initial choice is lacking, seek out a better group.

Intriguing story but still just another city builder PVP game. I like the story line mission to the game. Also, you seem to get what you need in resources without having to spend money. However, as a city building PVP game, you are eventually open to attacks from far stronger players. I reached level7 and was constantly being hit by a player who had millions more in power than I did. Could not keep troops healthy long enough to do anything else. Would have been nice if the game ads or even preview pictures included that it was that style of game. If you like that sort of game, go for it. As I said earlier, you seem to be able to get resources without having to buy with real money.

Misleading. Introduction leads me to believe I am alone with my associates and exploring this misty land. That I thoroughly enjoy. Then at some point you find that you are one of hundreds ( or thousands ) who are also in this land, yet you never come across anyone else when on or around “your” estate. Single person role play is fine with me but very disappointed that what “seemed to be” was only a mask for a multiplayer game like so many others where you must join forces …

Old map was better. While I am enjoying this game thus far, I have to say that I was disappointed when I opened up the map in this latest update. Before, the map seemed much more dynamic, with the mountains looking like mountains, the and the castles all being easy to distinguish from each other. Even the marching soldiers looked better. Now the map seems bland, with even the Specter troops just looking like another army instead of having their own, unique look. The castles are less aesthetically pleasing, as well as our own troops. And don’t even get me started on the mountains: they just seem like flat patches of rock.

Fun for a while but then grind city. This game starts out kind of fun and once you get your castle to a certain level you can join an alliance and make friends. But eventually all the events turn into the same boring gathering resources and training troops over and over again. Sooner or later the players who thought they were signing up for a war game have nothing left to do because all the other people have been zeroed and left the game or there is a nap strangle hold on the whole thing. Even the kvk events aren’t all that interesting and are very few and far between. I think the kingdom Im in has maybe a month left in it at most before all the main players give up completely. The side games are kind of a joke really. Very little options to make them challenging in good ways. The daily tasks are just a slog to get through and the rewards are minimal. Also, it’s a total money pit. Resources for any building past level 18 are just impossible without purchasing because there isn’t enough other players to battle for it and gathering takes forever. The only good part at this point to me is the friends I’m making in my alliance, but we’re all getting so bored that I’m pretty sure most of us won’t last much longer. It’s sad really, I know several of them who played other games for a long time. Unfortunately Misty Continent just won’t sustain long term play at the current rate they’re releasing new features.

Money Hungry. Nice game to play, very much like others in the genre, but very poor value if your a paying player, pay to win and you have to spend a small fortune if you want to win

Slow and boring.. Like all games, this one starts with promise. Build a town/city and gain experience, but once you get to the mid levels it becomes a drag. Not enough free builders or resources to enable the expansion required. Silver supply is woeful and having to rely on all other players to support you isn’t always fair. Hero expansion is a drag. Trying to increase attacking forces is almost impossible without putting good money into this.

Poor service. Worst customer service from a game I have ever seen, rips off your money by increasing prices of packs at times when you need them. Game issues don’t get fixed, customer service just drags you along until the events you have issues with are over.

Misty. I have different accounts in this game so I enjoy playing it. Not a fan of the latest update. Looks like you guys did a collaboration with Lego. Castles are like bricks. Stronghold lvl numbers are really hard to see now. It’s made this weeks KE a nightmare.

Yawn, here we go again. Just started playing and it seems to be a clone of all the other games just like this. Whoever spends most money wins and the rest of us tag along doing tedious, repetitive chores trying to keep up. I might be wrong, this one may be different, but so far, I think not.

How dumb do they think people are?. This is just a reskinned version of guns of glory. Will never play one of their games after their bloodthirsty, insatiable thirst for players hard earned cash. This isn’t even trying. Like 90% is just the same content in a “different“ game. Sure,y they don’t expect people to fall for that?! Right?

Same Same. Six months into the game it’s time to change my review. this game has not improved. It’s kind of like a trophy wife, visually spectacular, however, lacking in substance and expensive to maintain. it is very pretty to look at, however, is boring with few team events, hero recruitment at a ridiculously low rate (0.02% and that’s for mid range heros) and no chance for development if you’re free to play or even a moderate Spender.

Dishonesty and deception. The game is full of dishonesty and deception - and that is just from the developers in the way the game is set up. It is expensive to advance. There is nothing new here as it is a direct copy of many other war games. The only thing that is new is the skin over.at they have applied. As it is a copy it is surprising they are chat]ring so much for the in game purchases. They are just cash grabbing as much as they can before people, realise that these types of games are dead ends a.d not worth the effort. They encourage bullying and cheating because that enhav[nicest there revenue.

Villeneuve. Started the game. Was fine until version 8. Now base has become invisible. Can’t report problem because I can’t take a screenshot of problem. Also now excluded from some events and rewards are not given when achieved. Needs some quality control.

Pirates & Magic. Nice graphics and interesting story line. Very entertaining.

No update warnings. The developers simply turn the server off for maintenance with NO VISUAL NOTIFICATION. I’m sure it wouldn’t hurt to alert players within 15 minutes of maintenance beginning, would it? >>>>It is one thing that needs optimising<<<<

Great game but…. This is a great game. Only downfall is when there is no cap on how strong an estate can attack another estate and no cap on how many times in a row per day. Game loses its fun aspect when that happens. Losing all resources only to build it up once more (to level up buildings) to lose it again. Gets frustrating and fun is lost.

I felt I needed to pay for the use of this game since this is the product of someone’s hard work and twice I have been attacked and the attackers make off with many of my game supplies and my money. Misty continent. I gave only 2 stars because it is not what is advertised. While I’m sure it is a decent city Defense game, all the ads promoted it as story based action puzzle game, which is what I wanted. Even the game summary didn’t accurately explain on the App Store

Customer Service is Horrible!. I played a significant amount of time of this game since it’s launch. I referred my friend, as we wanted to play together. I was in Kingdom 21, my friend was in 22. You can not join an alliance or play together until level 7, and you have to be in the same Kingdom as your friends in order to play with them… but they fail to tell you that you can not move kingdoms once you hit level 7. So I contact customer service about the problem I was encountering and asked if they could move me to my friends Kingdom as we didn’t know. The reply I got from customer service was to delete my account and start again. No mention of reimbursement for cost spent playing the game, no boosts offered to assist me in recovering my game back due to their poorly thought out alliance set up, no mention of sure we can move your base that you paid for and worked at this one time as it is clear this mistake is due to our negligence, just “delete your account and start again, this ticket has been closed”. What an absolute joke. These developers are crooks, don’t waste your money.

If you like glitches and a totally unresponsive development staff this games for you. Been playing the game awhile, like most games like this unless you are spending your just target practice. Constant issues and glitches, and this staff doesn’t fix anything, instead worries about stupid things like new grass in your castle.

Stunning…..but!!!!. Graphics awesome, gameplay is nothing like advertised upgrades take way to long. Takes to long to acquire the materials to perform the upgrades. Wasn’t looking for another pay to play game but that is what this game is turning out to be I gave it four stars but I’m really disappointed.

Fair Play is not enforced. The developers allow multiple accounts per players. Facebook has multiple groups where players can sell accounts. Players sell in game resources. Obviously players are using game hacks. The developers allow this because it gives the illusion people spend real money to be competitive, when in reality, most people do not. Notifying Apple.

Good so far. This game has been a pretty decent game. The animation and storyline are amazing. There is a lot to do but since I am fairly new, I don’t this game’s full potential. Pretty good game so far. I recommend it to people who like to set up bases and battle.

Misty Continent Review. I like playing the game and the social aspect, I do get annoyed at the bugs and how long it takes to correct and the pressure to spent$$$. You can play with little to no spending if you are patient. The players in my alliance are pleasant and fun as well as the kingdom is very friendly except when we are opponents in event!

What a bad joke. This game is rigged in favor of those who pay lots of money to upgrade. This game allows a person with 4x your strength to DESTROY your city in a blink of an eye. All your hard work can be gone in a matter of minutes! I refuse to put up huge amounts of money just to hope that someone more powerful doesn’t come by and destroy me and my whole alliance. Shame on the developers for such a cruel setup.

No need for cash. I like what I’ve seen so far I feel like it’s great that you don’t have to jump in real money to actually get resources and I feel like the storyline is pretty interesting compared to most mobile games

Beautiful and fun, but…. Just like another reviewer, I am Leary of growing my base and my enjoyment of the game only to have high powered bullies beating me down so that I won’t be able to do anything. As soon as that crap starts, I will be deleting the game. Just an FYI. Until then, I will enjoy the play.

Enjoyed up until getting attacked. When you are attacked, you can only turtle, if you attack back you lose troops which are expensive and tome consuming. Real money expensive and real tome expensive. I refuse to play a game that allows other players to dictate how to apend your valuable time and hard earned money, when they can plan how and when to spend theirs.

Digging the Game!!. I play mainly phone games a lot and this is actually one the best games based on how it sticks to the ads they post. So far the has been nothing but amazing and interesting. I will playing it and I will provide further reviews. Get into the game and enjoy!

Just like the ads. However you do have to build up your estate like most games. But your battles are just like the ads. So far. I’ve only been playing for like a hour.

I just hate games…. Just hate games that are not like what they show. Why did you (the developers of the game) use the same layout as the zombie game and also have the man in the Iron mask in the commercials. You show the characters up close doing thing’s like jumping from wall to wall like in some PS 2 & 3 and all the other big named systems

Looks like ads. Seen an ad of the game actually showed what was played. I like it but if not into story lines the intro may not be for you. But I’d highly recommend giving it a chance

Misty continent the curse island. I’m deleting game. So sick and tired of having to spending time replacing everything I lost from the last I was on. Six to seven hours just to get back what I lost. And spend no time at all to diols on game. Teams don’t help. Only other favorites players. I can’t play everyday. I am not enjoying this game anymore so why should I play. Give all my stuff away no wait they just steal from me.

I am so sick of false ads. It’s wrong!. Not one frame of your advertisements are in the game. I want to play the exploring and the city building aspect not just the city build. You are not the first nor will you be the last to falsely advertise your game as something that it isn’t. However, as a developer you should be better then the other losers and create what the people really want. Game is good for what it is but it’s a complete lie from the ads that made me want to download in the first place.

Tons of glitches. Played for about a week now, started out great, good gameplay, then the glitches came. After an attack, your castle disappears. I have made a report, but no response. Just like all the others……

Interesting but disappointing. I have only just downloaded the game recently but I am enjoining the graphics and storyline. However, the gam isn’t as advertised on adds and the codes they say to use don’t work as advertised. Other than that I don’t have much of a problem with the game.

Horrible experience and game play. The game starts out nice and fun but once you hit level 17-18, you have to gather SO much food and other resources!!! Unless you spend a bunch of money, you will be stuck for months. Even if you diligently forage for food at the resource spots on the map it’s all for nothing once you’ve amassed a large amount just to have it STOLEN from you by other players in attacks. After the 2nd time I deleted the app altogether, complete waste of time

The ad showed an active adventure, this is a war game. The ad depicted a role play adventure game. The actual game is typical war strategy, which I do not enjoy. What a disappointment. If you developers want to create an awesome game, please see what your ad designers have been doing, lower the over-sexualization about 90% and you’ll have a really popular game.

Mired in micro transactions. While the graphics and gameplay are great they are asking more than the price of a AAA game upfront to get started. I even bought one of the packs and they tried to bait and switch what I was purchasing for a more expensive item. Avoid this game at all costs unless you intend to go absolutely free to play otherwise expect to be spending hundreds of dollars.

Could be good. I have an iPhone 7, so I’m pretty far behind. But I’ve never had a game that lags this bad, even just shutting down every now and then. It seems like a decent game but for me it is pretty much just unplayable. Anyways this is probably just a me problem and I’d encourage people to try the game out.

I’ve reached out to them about bugs and there responses even seems like they don’t understand there own game. My stats I calculated is wayyy higher then my reports or what the game says my stats are. Entertaining -. I appreciated the game even more when I did a 2nd start and revisited the story line and development of the game. Good graphics, good interface with internet, puzzles, interesting characters and interconnection with other players. All good!

Addicting at First, then your resources get stripped.. I had gained a ton of resources to move forward in the game. Then something happened and I woke up to my resources being stripped down to almost nothing. I hit a wall with the game and had a hard time progressing, so I got frustrated and deleted it. I play these games to relax and unwind, and it became an additional stressor. No, thank you. Do not recommend.

Crap. This game wouldn’t even do anything when I started it up and started the first mission. Said the legion would start attacking automatically but they just stood there and didn’t attack. This game doesn’t even deserve 1 star. And I was so excited to play based off pic and videos of it on the App Store. But it’s not even worth the download button press to download

Peaked My Interest. I usually don’t bother with downloading these type of games, via my device. I’ve just never had the patience for them. On a whim I decided to give this game a go… and I haven’t been disappointed yet. 😁

Definitely not what is presented in the ad but…. …seems like a pretty standard colony building management game. Not sure where they got the graphics for the ad, but the theme is there, pirates and ruins and such, it’s just not an adventure game at all. We downloaded out of pure curiosity and spent about 10 minutes on it. If you are into this type of game, feel free to give it a try.

Good graphics. So far I am enjoying the game, so far seems very easy and straight forward and fun to play. The mini games are pretty easy so far but are fun and interactive, and for this type of game the graphics are way better then other ones I have seen.

What’s the point? Beyond money.. Never did figure out what the point is. So many aspects to this game that have to be manually maintained that it’s monotonous and pointless after a while. And, as usual, the only way you advance is to pay up. Small increments all the time, a bit here, a bit there. Bleck! I gave it until level 10 and probably got taken for $50, here and there, drip, drip, drip.

Misty tests patience. This game rewards the patient but gives you a way out if you just want to spend money. I personally will take time over money and enjoy the fruits of my labor

Maybe add something.. Just started the game and from what I see great game and story so far. I do not like the idea of pvp. I think there should be a mode or something that you don’t have to participate in it, if you don’t want to. Games with this type of layout for pvp, the player is just a pawn for people whom are over compensated.

New kingdom 141 messed up. It’s trash I still don’t have dungeon or the use of gems in anyways to make armor stronger like I did in K50 or in K101 if your going to build new kingdoms they should be the same theory and basics as past kingdoms. And make it the same for everyone in kingdom. Really dropped the ball on this kingdom.

Fun and engaging. Love the game so far but I just started. It keeps you interested and I haven’t had to spend any money to continue playing.

I will change the star rating when…. So I started playing this game. Right after the first cut seen your captain, or whatever is being surrounded by ghostly figures. You’re supposed to pick up two crewmembers, and they are supposed to automatically fight the ghosts. However, that is not what happens. The captain and his crew just die. I have no idea if this game is fun because I can’t get past the first fight.

Crashes. This game is not optimized for an iPhone 8. I cannot play more than a couple minutes without it completely crashing. It takes forever to load and stutters/lags any time I try to open a menu or collect materials. It also eats my battery up very quickly. I’ve changed things in the settings to help it run better but with no luck, it honestly crashes sooner than it used to.

Game is ok. Game concept is good the events are lacking and very repetitive. This is a play to win game you can not progress past a point without spending money because it takes for ever to get silver for upgrades. Game Censors everything including the word “attacked” which you use in most conversations because it’s a war game. Packs to purchase aren’t very good either.

Frustrating. Cleaned out again! All I do is try to get enough resources to upgrade and defend myself and when I do, along comes a lord three or four levels above me and leaves me no troops or resources. I play for fun and this is not anymore. Let the bullies battle each other so new players can advance. Also it would be nice to have better info on how things work.

Find a peaceful zone to grow. Beautiful graphics. You can get by without paying for upgrades but the first couple of hero upgrades like Peggy really helpful.

Overall fun. Wish one of these games would do something outside the box for building and/or hero’s, but still enjoy this one more than the others I’ve tried.

Latest update broken. I love the game so far however the last update did something to where I went into the message talking about the update and I tried to receive the stuff from it the message would freeze and I couldn’t close out of it. Please fix that. Thank you.

Amazing. The game is good so far. I seem to find it enjoyable. The only issue would be trying to find out where items are located. I cannot find the mailbox to collect the items that were given to me. Make this easier to locate and will definitively give a better rating.

Amazing. This game is amazing, it does not make exclusive currency that hard to get, you have a story mode to follow amend so much more. This is one of the best games I have played in years!!!

I can’t get past the intro. When chapter 1 starts it just dumps me on a battle field and gives me gems to upgrade or something like that and I get 2 more guys that die so quickly and only do 1 Dmg? The captain does 0 dmg and when I run out of health nothing happens and I can’t get past that screen. Definitely nothing online about it so, I guess I’m not even going to bother.
